''Potter Fic Weekly'' is in a way, ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin, a podcast that discusses ''Franchise/HarryPotter'' FanFic every week (except it's more like every three weeks nowadays). The episodes are on the long side and there is a lot of off-topicness (resulting in every episode becoming like a WikiWalk ), but many think that that's one of the podcast's best qualities. Their Web site can be found [[http://potterficweekly.com/ here]].

Many of the hosts have started another podcast called ''Poufwa Exchange'', which is just as hilarious and discusses other fandoms, from ''Literature/TheTwilightSaga'' to ''Franchise/StarTrek''. (Take a [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/DrinkingGame/PotterFicWeekly drink]] .)

They have also started yet another podcast called "Point of View Weekly" in which they discuss everything else. Website is [[http://pointofviewweekly.com/ here]].

%% * CatchPhrase
%% * ChangingOfTheGuard: PeonCast has become this.
%% * ChristmasEpisode - Special Edition 12 and others. There is also occasionally a Thanksgiving, Halloween, New Year's etc. episode.

%% * DoubleEntendre: Happens very often
%% * DracoInLeatherPants: [[invoked]] Jen's favorite trope.
%% * EndingTheme
%% * EvilGloating aka {{Monologuing}}: Ryan is prone to this too. Well, the monologuing, not the Evil Gloating.
%% * FirstNameUltimatum: Ryan gives Jen one when she tells him that she might skip straight to the end of Deathly Hollows

%% * IKnewIt!

%% * Malaproper: Happens on some occasions, especially when Britishisms are involved.
* MeaningfulLook: A RunningGag involves "significant glances" used as a cue to [[LaserGuidedAmnesia Obliviate]] someone, inspired by a scene in ''Fanfic/ParadigmOfUncertainty'' where that happens.
* MostFanficWritersAreGirls: Discussed on the podcast. Additionally, one of the episode hosts, [[http://www.fictionalley.org/authors/dethryl/ Dethryl]], is a male fanfiction writer.

* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Or more accurately their forum handle. Although to be precise, PS is short for Plaid Slytherin.

* OpeningNarration: Somewhere in the beginning of the episode, clips from the funniest past episodes will play.
%% * PenName: Dethryl, Melindaleo, Fernwithy, the list goes on.
* ProductPlacement: Averted by SoundEffectBleep (in which the "sound effect" is Draco from ''Theatre/AVeryPotterMusical'' saying "Pigfarts!") when the discussion turns to a rant about a major American retailer; as the segment goes on, it becomes increasingly obvious which one. One of its competitors is referred to as Hogwarts.
