But fate would have more plans for Galakrond, after all there was a new group seeking to resurrect the massive draconid and they succeeded in bringing him into the pantheon after recovering the essential material from Uldum. |
| 66 | * Galakrond was summoned into the pantheon by the League of E.V.I.L. and the dragonlord was as hungry as he was in the past, feasting on anything that came across his path. Eventually, the combined might of several GUAG members and other involved parties managed to subdue the dragon enough to be able to drive him away and stop his rampage, but considering what transpired, Galakrond was here to stay. The reason? The League of E.V.I.L. cleverly stole one of the several unused titles (Thanks to Rafaam's habit to break the fourth wall) and used it to summon the Dragonlord to the pantheon as an official deity. |

So it peeves him off that Molag Bal encourages MaritalRapeLicense (and the act in general) and wants to get many vampires to oppose the Daedric Prince as well. In fact, fighting against Molag Bal is the ''one'' surefire way for Dracula and many of his normal enemies (vampire hunters and Good-aligned vampires) to [[EnemyMine temporarily join forces]], since all of them are universally disgusted by his depravity. |

The Princess Pretty Cures had been vehemently opposing her due to her nefarious goals of conquest and what she and her organization do regarding dreams, finding her quite similar to Dyspear. One day, Nehelenia, growing tired of their constant interference, spitefully decided to cast a {{Curse}} in hopes of making their lives much more difficult. For a few weeks? Nothing happened…until the end of one of Junko Enoshima’s killing games, where the collective despair of the very few survivors caused Dyspear to manifest. She proceeded to trap said survivors in Cages of Despair to empower herself further, and left. Dyspear would eventually begin painfully interrogating someone about where she was, learning that she was in a place known as the Pantheon. She was also infuriated when told that the Princess Pretty Cures were present after she asked about them, but also learned from the person she interrogated through MindRape that some of the foes of other Pretty Cure were ascended as well, and one of them in particular, Joker, would love nothing more than to snuff out all dreams and hope much like her. |
| 154 | ** Upon meeting, Joker immediately recognized Dyspear, having learned of many other Pretty Cure villains. She proposed an alliance, to which Joker agreed, though one of the Bad End Generals pointed out that she doesn’t seem to have any of her underlings, with Joker replying by saying that this problem could be remedied. He and Dyspear ended up reviving Close, Freeze, Stop and all of their Zetsuborgs and Metsuborgs in the Pantheon, with the former welcoming her back. To let her hated foes know of her presence, she had Freeze, Stop and a Zetsuborg track the Princess Pretty Cures down and attack them, also ordering Close to disguise himself as a bird and watch the fight. During the fight, Joker did run into the problem of finding a proper trope for Dyspear but came to a conclusion. He would ascend Dyspear and Close, her loyal Dragon, together under DevourTheDragon. While the fight took place, the duo of Joker and Dyspear properly worked to make sure this comes true after the latter told her his idea, which she agreed to. They succeeded in this plan, and Dyspear and Close were properly ascended together for DevourTheDragon, with the latter being included in it surprising her [[TheDragon Dragon]]. The Princess Pretty Cures were not happy to see their most hated foes in the Pantheon. |
| 155 | * Dyspear tends to gravitate towards the House of Pantheon/{{Despondency}}, due to her desire to crush all dreams and hope. Much like Junko Enoshima, a close eye is kept on her there, not that she really cares. She tends to go there to empower herself, and it has become hard to force her out of the House of Pantheon/{{Despondency}} once she has gotten inside. Close in particular has kept on eye on the defenses of the House on her orders to tell her when it isn’t as protected so that she can enter with not nearly as much resistance trying to fend her off. Dyspear has, however, claimed, that the House’s very existence empowers her. And as she happens to be made of Despair, not only does it empower her, but [[YouCannotKillAnIdea she’ll always return as long as it exists.]] An incident once occurred in that House regarding The Knight Of Despair and Yuri Nakamura, but the two are to be kept away from Dyspear after she caused the former to rampage, which outright [[HeroKiller killed the latter]] before Cure Peace and the Smile Pretty Cures worked with the Princess Pretty Cures to subdue her. Dyspear doesn’t regret doing it, and outright admits that she’s pleased with her work and the results of it. Close very much feels the same way about the incident as Dyspear. What isn’t known though is [[NothingIsScarier what exactly Dyspear did to the Knight of Despair that made her so enraged.]] |
| 156 | * Their desire for despair didn’t sit well with many {{Hope Bringer}}s. Makoto Naegi sees Dyspear to be similar to Junko, who literally created a tragedy that almost ended the world. Madoka Kaname was horrified by Dyspear’s ability to forcibly inflict despair upon people via Cages of Despair. She knows that this is pretty much a [[AndThenJohnWasAZombie death sentence]] for nearly all Puella Magi. Superman is one of their most frequent enemies. What Dyspear did to Towa reminds him of bad memories. Bad memories of when Darkseid captured, brainwashed him into thinking he was the Malevolent God’s son, and sent him to conquer Earth. The {{Hope Crusher}}s also earned the ire of Batman as what Dyspear and Close want to do remind him of the Clown Prince of Crime, and the duo have also been opposed by Wonder Woman. On the Flipside, Dyspear and Close have come to respect the tyrannical Darkseid for what he does in destroying Hope, even if it is a means to an end so that he can rule all as opposed to drowning everything in despair for the sake of Hopelessness. Interestingly enough, Darkseid is one of two beings they fear simply because of how cosmically more powerful he is than them, as well as the Omega Sanction. The other being they fear is Lord English, who definitely has the power to put them down permanently. They stay away from the latter, and Darkseid doesn’t give a shit about the two. |
| 157 | ** When it comes to them respecting others, there was a day where Dyspear noticed plenty of despair coming from random households in the Pantheon. She sent Close to investigate, and he would return with information of strange duplicate entities killing people and driving them insane. Curious, she set a trap to speak to one of them, abducting a person at random as bait with Close and Dyspear lying in wait. She would meet a creature known as “The Intruder”, who appeared to be a pale white-skinned man in a black hoodie. Dyspear blocked escape for anyone by pulling them all into AnotherDimension, and it was here, where the Witch of Despair got her answers to satisfy her curiosity at the moment. On what Alternates were and their purpose. And even their BrownNoteBeing nature didn’t phase her or Close. On the contrary: This caused them to have more ammunition to break the wills and seal the dreams of people. Close simply thanked “The Intruder”, and Dyspear teleported the two away after bringing everyone back from the other realm. This left ”The Intruder” and their hostage behind, and the former swiftly killed the latter. |
| 158 | * Both Dyspear and Close happen to have plenty of interest in the Puella Magi. Namely the fact that enough Despair transforms them into Witches, and Dyspear seeks to create a breed of Witch Metsuborgs and Witch Zetsuborgs. This led Dyspear to “test them” by sending Metsuborgs and Zetsuborgs at the Sisterhood and Houses where Puella {{Magical Girl}}s reside. She wasn’t surprised when they were defeated, and Close, who had been watching from afar relayed to her the attacks of Sayaka Miki and how her mental state didn’t seem to be that great at the moment. Dyspear. The Puella Magi, aside from Madoka who already knew of the existence of Dyspear and Close and what they plan to do, would eventually be filled in on what those creatures were by Cure Flora and the other Princess Pretty Cures. Upon being informed of them, they were all horrified, especially given that the Witch of Despair and her [[TheDragon Dragon]] can force despair upon people, and actually somewhat fear the two yet won’t hesitate to oppose them. A few days later, Oriko Mikuni, elsewhere, ended up getting a glimpse of a possible future where all of the Magi fell into despair by their hands, and she refuses to say anything about it other than the fact that it was absolutely horrific. |
| 159 | ** You’d think she and Close would get along with Kyubey and the Incubators. And you’d be completely wrong. While they crush Hope, the Incubators see the sealing of all dreams detrimental to their cause. This is because no dreams makes sure that a there will be very little to no more Contracts made thanks to the other parties no longer having reason or resolve to accept one. She and Close are being tad more delicate with Akemi Homura. She and Close have been profiting off of the Despair her foes feel when Homura defeats them, and they are using it to fuel their operations from the shadows. It was this that actually caused their temple, a new Palace of Despair, to emerge. She finds it hilariously ironic that Homura is doing this to try to protect Madoka but not even think about the repercussions of what could become of her mental state. And Dyspear and Close are very willing to take advantage of the latter. When Homura eventually wrecked a very delicate operation to gather some despair and destroy the Princess Pretty Cure all in one fell swoop, all because Madoka was in the crossfire, Dyspear was enraged. Seconds later, a new prophecy happened to appear in the House of Pantheon/ProphecyAndFate that almost caused Madoka’s heart to stop. One word…[[spoiler:[[OhCrap Walpurgisnacht]]]]. |
| 160 | * The relationships that Dyspear and Close have with other Pretty Cure villains vary. As mentioned before, they get along terrifyingly well with Joker, the Spawn of Pierrot. Their desire for despair and Joker helping Dyspear onto her feet in the Pantheon after she manifested again has caused them to become extremely close Allies. Dyspear was initially quite wary around Gohyan as he had successfully betrayed his superior, which reminded her a lot of what one of her generals planned to do to her but was never able to, but when he revealed he created him in the first place she didn’t feel as threatened, with Close even informing her after a few weeks of spying with Gohyan even telling her to do so that he had no intentions of betrayal. Together, the four plan to ascend as many foes of the Pretty Cure as they possibly can, which didn’t sit well with any of their foes. |
| 161 | ** However, for the Pretty Cure villains, Dyspear and Close don’t get along with Moebius at all. She loathes him, finding his narcissistic ego to be far too much even for her. While Dyspear will work with him, the two are well aware that they plan on backstabbing each other, and are preparing for that day. That being said he does somewhat respect the desire that Dyspear and Close have to break hopes and dreams, as he sees that as a good tool to subvert people to their will. The problem is that he wants it to to be his will. Still, again, they do still work together from time to time. This is because they share enemies in the form of Pretty Cure, and they know better than to fight amongst themselves until their enemies are completely and utterly eradicated altogether. |
| 162 | * While Dyspear and Close initially believed it to be circumstance that caused them to ascend, Close eventually encountered an ugly creature known as Zirconia, who revealed that her Queen had been watching them for quite a while. Close was quite startled, Zirconia assuring him that her Queen means neither of them any harm towards the two and proposed a meeting. Her Queen, Nehelenia. While skeptical, he did accept, and while angry at first, Dyspear did learn from Nehelenia during said meeting that her arrival was the result of a nasty Curse she placed upon the Princess Pretty Cures for opposing her to the point where she got completely sick of it. Dyspear didn’t believe her at first, even calling her a liar as the Witch of Despair will always return as long as there is despair, and that Joker was the one who helped bring her underlings into the Pantheon. Nehelenia told her in response that while she would’ve manifested, and yes, Joker was responsible for the return of her minions, her Curse accelerated Dyspear’s return. Even showing her the events of the Silver Millennium and how her Curse caused the Dark Kingdom to rise and destroy it by having Zirconia take her to an area in the House of Pantheon/TimeAndTemporality. Dyspear believed her instantly after that, and the two have been extremely close allies ever since. And Nehelenia, interested in repeating what Dyspear did to her, has turned her attention towards Cure Scarlet…interested in repeating what Dyspear did to her. |

To better do this, she’s also visited the Hall of Pantheon/MindControl on occasion to hone her brainwashing and memory wiping abilities and to grow more skilled in controlling others to further her goals. But something that is extremely concerning happens to be how she visits the House of Pantheon/TimeAndTemporality and practices her ability to stop time. She’s trying to ensure that she can override other Time Stoppers when they use their abilities, and even sabotage their abilities by specifically unstopping time for certain people to better deal with them. |
| 165 | ** The fact that she manifested after the end of a Killing Game attracted the attention of the Mastermind behind said game: Junko Enoshima. Junko Enoshima was rather curious about this new entity and sent a Monokuma Unit to meet her. Said Monokuma Unit would exchange pleasantries with Close before being led to Dyspear, and the two conversed for quite a while. Here, Junko learned through the Monokuma Unit that Dyspear is a walking personification of Despair, and that she too, wants to crush Hope. The two have allied themselves with each other. However, they conflict on sealing dreams as Junko Enoshima likes to build hope and then destroy it at times, and loves it. However, even after a scheme where Junko Enoshima hijacked it via subtly leading some Heroes to her, the two don’t hold anything towards each other and seem to have a similar relationship that Lex Luthor and the Joker have. This has only made her status as an enemy of Makoto Naegi grow far, far stronger, though Dyspear didn’t really care. |

However, arrogance took heed of him as he stole the Carstein ring from Vlad that amplified his immortality, leading to his final defeat in his attack on Altdorf and mother, Isabella, committing suicide due to the grief of losing her husband. Thus, began a series of in-fighting by Vlad's sons, each of whom tried to claim the role as their father's successor, with the battle being between Konrad, Fritz Pieter, Hans and Mannfred himself. Fritz, Pieter and Hans all died whereas Mannfred disappeared elsewhere, leaving Konrad to [[TheCaligula take up the throne]]. Mannfred did however, leave behind an associate to play up Konrad's paranoia while he himself decided to devote himself into killing underage virgins in ritual sacrifices alongside his ally Jon Skellan [[ForTheEvulz just for the hell of it]]. Skellan was also the one sent by Mannfred to monitor and cause discomfort on Konrad's mind. Only after Konrad's defeat and death in the Battle of Grim Moor did Mannfred return to Sylvania to claim the Von Carstein throne. He began invasions towards the Empire and despite being killed, he would return via virgin sacrifice, even [[FlayedAlive flaying a witch hunter]] to announce his presence. |
| 352 | ** Soon after surviving against a joint army between Elves and Dwarves and being presumed dead, Mannfred would come to make an alliance with a revived Nagash during the upcoming advent of the End Times. Due to the sacrifices he committed to bring his master back, including Tyron and Alarielle's daughter, Aliathra, Mannfred became among the High Elves's most hated foes, but were forced to work together to drive back the Forces of Chaos from destroying the world. Mannfred however, had other plans; he betrayed the unified alliance of several races and Nagash himself to work for Archaon and the Chaos Gods before defecting them to his own devices. Ultimately, Mannfred committed his last and greatest act of spite and treachery, killing Balthazar Gelt while the Incarnates were trying to stop a world-destroying rift. The resulting action worsened the rift, depowering the Incarnates, killing Teclis and driving Mannfred insane. Immediately after, Tyrion [[ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice drove his Sunfang into the treacherous vampire]] and [[KillItWithFire ignite him from the inside]], finally [[AssholeVictim destroying the treacherous beast]], but [[DownerEnding the damage was already done with the world coming to an end soon after]]. |

That is, until he was guided my a mysterious, haunting sound in his mind tempting him to approach a shrine. Said shrine was a transporter to Coldharbour where Mannfred was met by Molag Bal. Satisfied and finally able to somewhat reel against Nagash, Mannfred stepped into the Pantheon, commanding a collection of vampires and other assorted undead into his bidding. |

He was genuinely prideful and happy to see that his actions [[DownerEnding doomed his own world]] and he has no regrets about it whatsoever. However, this also meant that he was closer to Konrad than he wanted to. Still, he has a personal headquarters at least. |

Even more insultingly, Sauron was now someone who was serving a much higher being; Darkseid. Upon learning of the Lord of Tyranny, Saruman felt intimidated by the stories and might of Darkseid and was tempted to find a way to bolster his own strength and resources just so he doesn't feel as if he's a liability. Darkseid personally sees Saruman as Sauron's "tool"; someone who could be of use... temporarily, a statement that didn't sit well in the White Wizard's mind. |

When Sauron found about about this, he... lectured Saruman about Palpatine's story and how he manipulated everyone, from friends and allies to weasel his way to become the Emperor of the Galactic Empire. Having been in the same alliance as the Sith Lord, Sauron knows well enough. That's not to say the Dark Lord was absolutely furious to learn of what Saruman was doing, but he realized that keeping the White Wizard would be practical in the long run. Ever since then, Saruman has been more discreet about working with Palpatine, though he does ask more from Sauron anyway. The White Wizard often thinks about what can he do to ''not'' incur the wrath of either two Dark Lords, let alone inviting Darkseid to his list of problems. |

Two figures stood out; Mannfred von Carstein and Starscream, both of whom have attempted to usurp and prove their superiority towards [[Pantheon/FightingMindsets their]] [[Pantheon/WeaponizedAppendages masters]] with varying results that, oftentimes, have made a situation worse for both heroes and villains alike. Mannfred is the most contentious; he betrayed ''everyone'', which resulted in the destruction of his world, and upon returning to the Pantheon, felt no shame about it. Starscream can sometimes be successful or incompetent but remains a credible threat to the Autobots. Saruman thinks that Mannfred and Starscream can be worked with, but given that both are infamous for a certain reason, he often tries to look after himself to see if they're planning something behind his back. Furthering this, Mannfred and Starscream are planning to betray Saruman at some point, but lucky for him, the White Wizard has been preparing for such an occasion. Time will tell when this is going to happen. |
| 407 | ** While he is not a member of the House of Pantheon/BetrayalAndTreachery, Saruman does get a weird feeling that he may belong there more than he does in the House of Pantheon/{{Villainy}}, plus the former treats the White Wizard as if he's a premier example of betrayal and treachery. A similar thing also applies to Shang Tsung, however, rather than being in a tense and difficult working relationship, Saruman actually becomes warier towards Shang than any other backstabber. Learning that Shang Tsung is a lot more deceitful than he expected and that his betrayal towards everyone he works with, much like Mannfred, was on more successful terms made Saruman wince that he may be too much of a WildCard than he thought. In fact, the idea that Shang Tsung may have become a God in one possible timeline has made White Wizard somewhat jealous and this has been something that did motivate him to work harder on his goals. |

Both were renounced magical beings who turned to malice, though in Weaver's case, it was after dabbling into dark magic in order to combat the Etherian Horde's threat. Despite this, neither get along with one another; Weaver, for all her callousness, still has some affection for [[Pantheon/CharacterAdaptations Adora]] and wanted the best for her, whereas Saruman couldn't care less about making meaningful relations, just wanting power above all else. By extension, Saruman also became enemies with Hordak and Entrapa; while both were initially members of the Horde and dabbled into evil industrialization, they've since become good and have tried to do better ever since, seeing Saruman as an example of what if Hordak never changed his ways and became too ambitious for his own good. |

Not all of them, however, had a positive thought about the White Wizard, one of whom was Count Dooku, a former Sith Lord, and Apprentice who initially worked for the Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfEvil before defecting after realizing just how much his personal motives clashed too much against his former alliance's ultimate goals, in addition to seeing tyrants as a dire threat as Dooku was a staunch political idealist before his fall to the Dark Side. The fact that Saruman ended up betraying his principles and becoming no less an EvilOverlord just as much as the beings he used to oppose wasn't helping matters either. Saruman shot back, stating that Dooku isn't in any position when he also betrayed what he fought for, only for the latter to respond by stating that [[FreudianExcuse he was at least motivated by something genuine]] and he realized the error of his ways, whereas the latter refused to see what he did wrong and remain unrepentant until the end. As a result, Saruman and Dooku have remained bitter enemies ever since, constantly battling one another over their ideals. |

This may have further angered the GUAN, but Saruman feels content in that he's got someone worthy enough to work with. |

He's since sides with Gul'dan, another evil Orc and a traitor to his own kind in regards to dealing with a mutual threat. Particularly, the S.T.A.R.S. members alongside Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield and Sherry Birkin have a serious bone to pick with Irons and while he hardly cares about his former underlings, Claire and Sherry are two that he really dislikes for being responsible for his death in a way. Sherry especially pisses him off considering what she did to him back in Raccoon City and even if she grown up to be an attractive young lady, he only wants to see her dead. |

While most of Honest's men either don't care about him or think he is an useless fat slob, Roark on the other hand suggested Irons to provide protection for his son, who would always deal in matters that would definitely be up on Irons' alley. For the most part, Irons can tollerate Roark Jr. even if he smells awful but with him he is free to do what he pleases. |

After Twilight Sparkle learned about this, she went to Beatty's place for anything suspicious and was bewildered to learn that he was housing a bunch of unread books that were left to rot. Beatty saw the pony and explained why that was, an answer that Twilight was furious at finding out. While a fight didn't break out between the two, both are on really bad terms since then. |

Beatty simply finds the idea of a book wizard to be ridiculous, but is more than aware of how much of a threat he poses to the goal of burning books. Shizuku Tsukishima is an author who has a lot of contempt towards Beatty as she is someone who has gone through a lot of trouble to work on story only to learn about someone who callously wants it and her life burned into oblivion. |

The leadership that Beatty served for in the past was mainly focused on destroying books and the places that housed them. Big Brother's rule not only involved suppressing critical pieces of information and anyone that could threaten him, but making any potential opponents worship him against their will. Beatty thought that the way Big Brother controlled the media was a more effective extension of what Beatty had done in the past and Big Brother sees the firemen and his quest to burn books and important bits of knowledge as a sort of stepping stone in turning the Pantheon into a truly dystopic world. |

While Beatty isn't really a full member of The Enclave, he has sometimes done work for them in destroying incriminating evidence against them. |

In truth, he was a hitman sent by a drug lord, Felix Reyes-Torrena, to assassinate four witnesses and their prosecutor. With Max having learned of the plot, what was once supposed to be a pickup and departure turned into a fight for his life as Vincent used Max as leverage to take him to the witnesses and kill them off and then manipulated and threatened him if he dared to rebel against Vincent. His final target, prosecutor Annie Farrell, whom Max earlier picked up before Vincent, proved to be the point where Max fought back. Their struggle culminated in a train where Max was able to land a fatal shot at Vincent, who decided to forfeit and accept his death, though not before sharing one last conversation with Max as he expired, concluding whether "anyone will notice", referencing an earlier talk about the death of someone in the MTA. |
| 623 | * Despite having accepted his death, Vincent woke up from a train seat, only to see his surroundings devoid of anybody as well as the train doors open at a station that didn't look like any in Los Angeles, Confused and curious, Vincent ventured out, also expressing surprise that he didn't have the bullet wound that ended his life and giving him the thought that he may as well be in the afterlife, {{Hell}} even. Along the way, he found himself in a city and decided to blend in with the crowd, now wanting to figure out his predicament. He found a slogan that spoke about promoting better taxes and job opportunities in "The Pantheon". After further exploration, he saw that he was in a House of Pantheon/CrimeAndTransgressions, whereupon he was confronted by a man who called himself Moriarty. Vincent expressed further surprise, identifying him as the ArchEnemy of [[Pantheon/AnalysisAndRecords Sherlock Holmes]] and asked him about what was going on. Upon being told about the Pantheon, its nature, and its inhabitants, Vincent was amused about the idea of being a "God", despite being just a title of ascension. Moriarty told him that according to notes he received, Vincent was ascended for being a commendable antagonist as well as his sharp wit and pragmatism in getting his work accomplished as a hitman. Vincent was further amused but stated that he's only willing to do his job if one pays him pretty well before leaving off to his own terms. Moriarty has since been keeping tabs on Vincent in case he's needed. |

At some point in the future, he joined the United States Army, becoming a Green Beret, though he left, feeling that he wasn't making much progress. Aware of just how much he'd be requested, Vincent decided to up his own cost of payment, ensuring that he's not an easy man to hire as well as making sure that he isn't caught up by too many tasks and that his contracts are more challenging. |

Whether it was in his mortal life or in the Pantheon, he sees himself as someone who, in his words, "improvises" and "rolls with" whatever he takes initiative in. While he has a twisted belief and ethical code, he finds it baffling that he had a position in the House of Pantheon/{{Philosophy}}; his days in the place were, in his perspective, dull, uneventful, and a waste of his time, preferring to instead be on his work schedule. And despite being a criminal, he's not a big fan of the House of Crime and Transgressions either as he finds no interest in anything that regards illegal pleasures and only visits it because it's one of those places where he can comfortably find contracts without arousing suspicion from the law. |

At the end of the day, he just does what he does and justifies it as his way to get by in life, though he found himself a bit perplexed to see that his reputation as compared to that of Anton Chigurh, another amoral hitman with an unusual viewpoint on life. The two happened to meet one day when they were signing up a contract to kill a businessman in the House of Pantheon/JobsAndProfession for having eavesdropped on one of Moriarty's schemes. Neither knew of each other's involvement until Vincent ended up killing the businessman just when Chigurh was about to make his move. Despite the fact that Vincent committed a kill-steal, Chigurh didn't seem to mind, only that he was more curious as to how Vincent became involved, something that confused the latter. The two had a tense conversation, which ended with a statement about faith, and a coin-toss, which Vincent found patronizing. Nevertheless, he voted heads and the coin landed in the desired position. Chigurh simply stated that it would be interesting to see him again before departing, but Vincent felt that Chigurh's morality felt puzzling to him and that it clashes against his own, expressing his personal distaste towards him for being peachy and consequential, despite his actions not making him a good man by any means. Vincent, at best, sees Chigurh as a rival to his business, though avoids any confrontation as much as he could to avert the chances of his future contracts not being hampered by a sudden fight. |
| 628 | ** He had a surprising encounter with Roland, who was similarly nihilistic due to his experience in the Smoke War and seeing just how bad his residing city was. To top it off, his wife and unborn child were killed, creating a desire for revenge and furthering his ruthless nature. Like Vincent, he was a fixer who killed his targets as quickly and viciously as he can. For a moment, Vincent saw him as rather interesting and even had some talks with Roland during their off-time, but beyond that and with Roland finding a way to become a better, or at least more scrupulous person, their interactions have lessened, not to mention Roland was not comfortable with Vincent's own talks on nihilism and destiny, seeing them as a reminder of his past, vengeful self that he would rather put distance on. Vincent also learned about Binah, who was an Arbiter before death and is only a slightly better individual as a Librarian. Despite their shared profession, Vincent avoids Binah for the most part, thinking that provoking her would not be a good move. He would, however, accept a contract to kill Binah, and while he's aware of just how absurd it sounds, it's like he said, "he may as well roll with it" and give it a shot, even if it means dying for it. A similar case also occurred with Niko Bellic, though he's more hostile towards Vincent, given that he once used to have a negative outlook on life, that was before he left his life of crime behind, and he sees Vincent as someone who follows a nonsensical approach on just sticking to said outlook withot any change. |

On another note, Vincent has proven to be quite useful in clearing out potential aggressors and roadblocks for both assassin organizations, though even if he doesn't know what the Black Organization wants to achieve, he personally doesn't care, so long as he can get his job done and he can satisfy his client. |

Their conversation was such that John almost felt like swiping a pencil at Vincent, but he kept his composure out of respect for the Continental's rules, though this didn't stop Vincent from wanting to deconstruct John's married life and his rampage against the ones who killed his dog because as fat as Vincent is concerned, they're now inconsequential and John should just fight for the rest of his life. Given that John himself has been excommunicated from the Continental and is on the run, Vincent was amused by the turn of events that led to this and yet also entertained the idea of confronting Baba Yaga in a fight. |

Vincent would unfailingly kill him as a twisted way to fulfill his desire of dying, though he couldn't care less about Zoe, much to Floyd's frustration. |

Despite a similar viewpoint in their philosophy, Vincent is disgusted by Zsasz's maddening nature and thinks that he isn't worth his time, though Zsasz sees things differently, preferring to indoctrinate Vincent to follow ''his'' brand of nihilism. Initially an opinion of dislike on Vincent's part, the two are now enemies due to Zsasz's repeated desires to lull Vincent to his side as well as the hitman getting to a point where he wants to kill Zsasz for being a threat to his livelihood, a rare exception to Vincent's hits as Zsasz has proven to be a more personal one for him. That, and Vincent finds the idea of being in a gladiatorial game to further emphasize nihilism and bloodshed to be utterly ridiculous by his standards. |

That, and Vincent is aware that GV is stronger than him and while compassionate and being willing to negotiate a way to avert a fight, they wouldn't really get along because Vincent believes that there's not much in life and he'd rather roll with what's given, even thinking that GV is doing the same thing with the circumstances involving him, Joule, Asimov, QUILL, and the Sumeragi Group, something that GV himself denies and thinks that Vincent is just trying to justify his own nihilism by criticizing GV's. Maki personally thinks Vincent is being pretentious with his beliefs whereas while he doesn't approve of the School Killing Game, he's too apathetic to really care about the lives of those who participated. |

If anything, the only interesting thing about the assassins for Vincent is that some members, particularly Altair, Ezio, Connor, and Edward, are admittedly some of the best assassins he's seen and feels that he can take a note from them regarding their skills, much to their dismay, given how they're quick to admonish Vincent for his lack of care and sociopathy. |
| 646 | ** Surprisingly, Vincent actually hates the Brave Companions, especially Rorge. It actually doesn't have much to do with standards and morality, with Vincent himself being a sociopath, but he finds the Brave Companions to be some of the most inexperienced and incompetent figures he's known who are into the assassination/hitmen business, and he ended up using Vargo Hoat and Rorge as examples for why he doesn't have a positive perspective on life. Vincent's contempt for them is such that not only would he call them out for how pathetic they are at their job, especially Rorge who would prioritize sexually assaulting women and girls over getting his work done, but would even kill them on the spot. Once, when Rorge approached Vincent with the idea of teaming up to go on a killing spree, Vincent seemingly obliged with a handshake... before shooting his balls and performing a Mozambique Drill on him. Needless to say, the Brave Companions tread cautiously toward him. |
| 647 | * While not inherently a notable feature for him, he's nevertheless become one of the most notable taxi passengers in the Pantheon. Vincent could hardly care less about this fact and only takes taxis as a convenient way to reach his destinations and targets, though he did find a strong interest in Travis Bickle, a taxi driver whose talks with Wizard convinced him to become a vigilante and use his skills as a former US Marine to kill the "wicked" of New York. Seeing as both of them have a military background, Vincent had a decent conversation with Travis, though he would rather encourage him to kill himself once his job is done and tell Travis that he should just dedicate his life to doing what he believes in. Beyond this, their relationship is more ambiguous with Travis being mostly silent about his thoughts on Vincent. On another note, the West Coast Cabbies try to do their best to not encounter him, partly because they think that Vincent would threaten them and partly because he could make them accessories of murder. And Vincent is open to exploiting this if it means achieving his means, and it doesn't for the Cabbies that they don't really know what Vincent looks like. |
