1	Because of the various creatures and temperaments of those within the GUAN, Gaea commissioned the Beast Lords to rule over and protect animal kind. They represent the power and diversity of nature, which is a thing of beauty to Gaea. They also stop other animal deities(also plants) from getting snippy and causing too much chaos for her desires.
