7	* [[CuteButPsycho Bubbles]] is incredibly scary whenever [[BewareTheNiceOnes she gets angry.]] And considering that she has [[HairTriggerTemper a much shorter fuse than in the original series,]] expect this to happen a ''lot''.
8	* Anytime Him appears is creepy as well, because he gets much more disturbing plots and gets more close to killing the Girls than the other villains.
9	* Silico. [[KnightOfCerebus Not only is he shown as a genuine threat]], but he [[NothingIsScarier is only seen in silhouette and we haven't yet got to see what he looks like beyond the shadow.]]
10	* Allegro can come off as disturbing because of his grin, his strange-sounding voice, and [[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything how he seems like a]] [[MemeticMolester sexual predator]] towards Buttercup.

14	** The fact that if Blossom and Buttercup hadn't been so focused on beating Princess and just let Bubbles do her thing, ''she'' could've been the one who got possessed!
15	** The Mayor acquiring the tiara in the first place. Not only that he got it from Him’s creepy shop, but at one point the Mayor puts the tiara up to his ear. Creepy whispers are heard while his eyes glow and he grows monster teeth.

33	** Blossom and Bubbles' voice and appearance changing to resemble Him.
34	* Bubbles's allergic reaction to pimentos in "Power Up Puff".
35	* In "Wrinklegruff Gals", we get a [[GrossUpCloseUp extreme closeup]] on a kid's pimple-covered face. To make things worse, it's accompanied by a LOUD SCREAM!

Also, Buttercup is covered in veggie juice but it's ''blood red!''
38	* In "Halt and Catch Silico," Silico's MaliciousSlander causes the town to turn on the Powerpuff Girls and form an angry mob. Think about that for a moment, he tried to get the Girls ''lynched'' by the very people they protect.
39	** Also, Silico escapes by the end of the episode. [[ParanoiaFuel That means he's still out there, plotting his next move...]]
40	* Bubbles and Donny getting extremely bloodshot eyes in "Bubbs & Donny Get The Mail" while staring at a snail is sort of gross to look at.

43	* In "Once Upon a Townsville", Bluebelle trying to kill herself to make her prince appear several times, while [[SuicideAsComedy it's played]] [[CrossesTheLineTwice for comedy]], it actually is [[FridgeHorror pretty horrifying]] that [[TooDumbToLive Bluebelle]] is really willing to nearly die just to get a useless prince to appear. And some of her suicide attempts, such as jumping into a volcano and/or ''almost getting torn to shreds'' is very creepy.
44	* From "15 Minutes Of Fame", we are treated to [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqdVEEypKQs one of the videos]] that Bubbles makes. [[NothingIsScarier There is something...]]''unnatural'' about it.
45	* Blossom's leg getting ridiculously muscled-up in "Little Octi Lost".
46	* Buttercup's [[GrowingMusclesSequence arms going totally buff]] in "Splitsville".
47	** Blossom makes several [[NightmareFace horrifying faces]] during her UnstoppableRage in that same episode. ''Especially'' her bloodshot eyes and veiny face when a guy in the library tells her to be quiet, pictured.

53	* The insane paranoia between Mojo and the three girls in "Quarantine".
54	* Silico’s final defeat in “Lights Out.” It may not be enough of a grand finale for some viewers but you cannot deny it is a horrible fate for anyone! Bubbles uses his own device on him which at first he [[NoSell resists]]. Silico then has the girls pinned under a bomb and flies away watching them explode! Except that this is all revealed to be a dream with Silico in a straight jacket locked in an asylum cell. This is because the [[LotusEaterMachine Butley]] actually does work on Silico. Now he is trapped inside his own mind within a never-ending dream for the rest of his days! Even Buttercup says she is both impressed and terrified!
55	* In "Brain Freeze" Mojo had a train conductor frozen, threw him aside, making a shattering sound and he's never heard from again. One of the most casual onscreen murders in a kid's cartoon.
