Eve 6 is an alternative rock band from Southern California, who are most well known for their hit singles "Inside Out" and "Here's to the Night". They disbanded in 2004, returned in 2007 with a new lineup, and finally reunited with all three original members in March 2011. A forth album followed a year later.

Their name is a reference to one of the genetically engineered "Eves" from ''Series/TheXFiles'' episode "[[Recap/TheXFilesS01E11Eve Eve]]". Eve #6 made a remark about [[EyeScream biting a guard's eyeball]].

The band has recently gained a small resurgence in popularity thanks to [[https://twitter.com/eve6 the frontman's prolific tweets in the band's main account]]. They're also settled to release a new EP named ''Grim Value'' in June 2021.

!!Eve 6 contains examples of:

* AntiLoveSong: "Promise"
-->I promise not to try not to let you down.
* BedroomAdulteryScene: Part of the apparently routine problems in "On The Roof Again".
-->Things were copacetic till she caught him, things were cool and collected till she found him erected with another.
* BreakupSong: "Girlfriend"
** A ''lot'' of their songs have elements of this, including "Enemy":
-->I can't get this shit off my mind, I just wanna be alright, so just tell me nothing's wrong, then get undressed and spend the night.
** "Anytime" from ''Film/OutCold'':
-->Kiss your apocalips for the last last time, run away run away run away I can't find, anytime you think it changed your mind, anytime you want, jump back to me anytime.
** And "Inside Out":
-->Wanna put my tender heart in a blender watch it spin around to a beautiful oblivion, rendezvous then I'm through with you.
** Even "On The Roof Again", even if the breakup was for [[BedroomAdulteryScene very good reasons]]:
-->Your heinous Highness broke her hymen, hey man try and quit your crying, I know she broke your heart but to calm try to calm down.
* DoubleEntendre: From "BFGF"
-->She's doing what she does best\
Sweating in the back of a Cutlass\
Here she comes!
* FieryRedhead: Max
* TheFourChordsOfPop: "Think Twice."
* GratuitousFrench: [[LampshadeHanging Lampshaded]] in "BFGF"
--> She says "''c'est la vie''." Not sure what that means.
* INeedAFreakingDrink: The singer in "Victoria"
-->I need another tequila!
* IncrediblyLamePun: From "Promise"
--> Why you gotta keep the fan on high when it's cold outside? Just want to let you know I'm still a fan, get it?
** From "Anytime", "Kiss your apocalips for the last last time."
* LeadBassist: Type B: Max Collins is the lead singer and he's the bassist. Also edging into Type C by making the band's twitter rather fun to read.
* NonAppearingTitle: "Leech", "Showerhead", "Tongue Tied" and "Nocturnal".
* OneWomanSong: "Victoria"
* PostGrunge: UrExample. They were the first band to record a more polished version of the grunge sound with slicker production and more radio-friendly hooks. During their hiatus, some of the members even produced tracks for similar bands like Music/PuddleOfMudd.
* SelfTitledAlbum
* ShoutOut: The line "[[Music/TheSmashingPumpkins Despite all my rage, I'm just a rat in a cage]]" appears in "Curtain", and "The future is so bright, you're wearing shades" in "Lion's Den".
* ShowerOfLove: The premise of the song "[[DoubleMeaningTitle Showerhead]]".
