The joke became popular, and now the Commissioner is now solely depicted as a violent man who attempts to solve all crime by raping people.

It doesn't help that after he steals the ''other'' Doctor Light's powers (no, not the Mega Man one, the Asian female one), there is almost an entire issue where every line relating to the theft was "RAEP RAEP RAEP RAEP RAEP RAEP." To quote ComicBook/PlasticMan: "[[LampshadeHanging It's like that's his power now]]."

This is a PsychopathicManchild whose gimmick is [[WickedToymaker weaponized toys]] and who [[WouldHurtAChild has killed at least one child]] with little remorse. However, he is an odd case as Toyman has also been shown to [[ChildHater actively dislike children]], DependingOnTheWriter. His molester status has mostly come from adaptive series such as ''WesternAnimation/SupermanTheAnimatedSeries'', ''WesternAnimation/SupermanDoomsday'', and ''Series/{{Smallville}}'', which play this to the hilt without every explicitly saying anything. The writers of ''Doomsday'' admitted that the mini-series ''ComicBook/LexLuthorManOfSteel'' was inspiration for some elements in it, like [[spoiler:a scene in which someone drops Toyman from a really high height]]. In said mini, it is implied and at one point outright stated that Toyman is a pedophile. In the comics, DC has since decided that Toyman isn't really a pedophile. It was all just a pedophile robot clone he accidentally built. OOPS!

The reasons: A) having sex with a teenage (but legal) Jean Grey, B) while [[FreakyFridayFlip in the body of Peter Parker]] in ''ComicBook/UltimateSpiderMan'', attempting to do ''something'' to a teenage and very much illegal Mary Jane, and C) hiding in some plants and watching a twin brother and sister have sex with each other. As one commentator put it "I'm the best at what I do, and what I do is hide in the bushes and watch creepy sex."
44	* ComicBook/ScottPilgrim, [[MemeticMutation Sketchy-Ass 24-Year-Old]]. This meme comes from the comic where Scott, in an attempt to have sex with his old flame Knives asks her "How does it feel to be an adult in the eyes of the law?"

He comes off as even more warped and unsettling than his ''WesternAnimation/BeastWars'' incarnation thanks to the writing of Nick Roche. This is not helped by his tendency to [[{{Sizeshifter}} shrink down to minute sizes]] and [[OrificeInvasion crawl into people's bodies]], nor his behavior towards Prowl being effectively that of a {{Yandere}} ex-boyfriend. Finally, there's this gem of a quote, which honestly can't be read as anything other than very odd and ''very'' disturbing innuendo.

The man goes on a tirade about wanting to have a sexual encounter between them and his wife, and in the next issue sexually attacks Maxine when she is alone in the street.
