''Precarious Woman Executive Miss Black General'' (Japanese: ''残念女幹部ブラックジェネラルさん'', ''Zannen Onna-Kanbu Black General-san'') is an AffectionateParody of Japanese superheroes.

The story follows the misadventures of Miss Black General, who is one of the executives of a [[NebulousEvilOrganisation rising new villainous organization called RX]] that aims for world domination. However, there's a bit of a snag there: the local superhero Braveman. No, not that he's a powerful adversary, though he's certainly that. The issue is that the General is his number one fan and mainly became a villain [[StalkerWithACrush so she'd have a good excuse to stalk him]]. Any time Braveman commits a heroic act and tries to prevent the General's schemes, [[AccidentalPervert the latter mistakes his actions as a form of flirtation]], much to Braveman's frustration.

How will the General and her organization conquer the world if she can't conquer her true feelings towards her number one hero?

The manga is written by and illustrated by jin, and began serialization in the {{shonen|Demographic}} magazine ''Dragon Age'' in 2015. It is licensed for release in English by Creator/SevenSeasEntertainment.

----
!!''Precarious Woman Executive Miss Black General'' contains the following tropes:
* AccidentalPervert: The story really likes having the males get into situations that makes them look like perverts. In the beginning it involved Braveman with the General, but once he figured out how to avoid that, the other male characters like the Boss and Kamen Soldier picked up the slack, and unlike his case where the General enjoys it enough that she blushes every time, the other guys [[PervertRevengeMode get more standard responses from the less-enthusiastic ladies]].
* AmazinglyEmbarrassingParents: The General's drag her home to explain her conduct when they spot her on the job, leaving her subordinates to sit around awkwardly in the next room.
* ArtShift:
** The Scientist creates a potion that turns Mr X realistic in chapter 20.
** Chapter 33 has the General training so hard for the Hero Academy that she temporarily shifts to a style like that from a sports manga.
* AsskickingLeadsToLeadership: Both heroes and villains determine their ranks based on strength and how capable they are at their chosen profession, with the strongest among their individual groups acting as leader. That said, the story as a whole follows the concept of ThePeterPrinciple, with the highest-ranking members of both sides having various mental oddities that result in them sucking terribly at leadership and constantly failing to achieve their proclaimed goals. Also, while all the villain groups supplement their strength with BenevolentBoss attitudes that foster genuine loyalty, the heroes make no effort to actually produce a system of structure, so the hierarchy of the Hero League is determined mostly through fear.
* AuthorAppeal:
** GG's character profile states that she was originally meant to be a bit further down the cute/monstrous scale, but more and more of the author's favourite traits kept sneaking in.
** A general example for all the female characters is that, no matter how big their chests and regardless of if it would make sense temperature-wise, their nipples are always shown erect through their clothing, even if their torso-wear is so thick in material that they shouldn't be visible, as commonly displayed with The General by how her breast-pockets jut out pointedly in the center.
* AwfulWeddedLife: An old man RX takes hostage is thrilled to just be away from his wife for a while, only for her to show up in a fury and drag him away. Braveman is amazed the General can still think about marriage after seeing this.
* AxCrazy: Marshmallow Head's intro very strongly implies he's this; he's known as the 'Murderous Othello', he comes to a Hero League meeting with his boots all red after a fight, and his first answer to a problem is violence.
* BeachEpisode: Chapters 28 and 29 are all about the heroes and villains taking a small break from work to enjoy the beach, which of course includes swimsuit fanservice and beach-gaming fun. In true fashion for the manga, there's also some craziness involving the complete wrecking of some attempted hero surveillance and RX continuing to cause problems for the heroes without even trying.
* BenevolentBoss: In contrast to the Hero League, where the "leaders" don't give much of a damn about heroes ranked below them, each of the villain organization bosses treat their underlings with respect and care, even being willing to put their own lives on the line to keep each and every one of them safe:
** Mechayama Juuzou does his best to act as a ReasonableAuthorityFigure when dealing with everybody, and is willing to change his mind when faced with circumstances that show his old way of thinking is unfair to his subordinates.
** Slime Tanaka is fully accepting of having Iron Girl in the Monster Benefit Society, despite being just an enhanced human, because he understands she needs a place to belong, and is willing to go out and work on a few things himself when his subordinates are busy earning money during Halloween.
** Schwartz Phantom takes this the furthest among everybody, since he's both BDS' leader and the overall commander of the Villain League, with him not only being supportive and protective towards his own group, but also willing to put effort and resources into the risky endeavour of [[spoiler:rescuing the Secretary for the Boss]], both to save the person involved and to make sure none of the other villain groups are at risk of going through the same troubling experience.
* BigDamnKiss: [[spoiler: The Secretary]] finally kisses [[spoiler: the Boss]] in chapter 121.
* BigEater: The superheroine Impact has an utterly massive appetite, even being introduced eating numerous plates of dango, and she gets [[BerserkButton very angry if you mess with her food]]. Unfortunately, said appetite is so enormous that if she misses even a single meal, she gets so hungry she can barely function. It's to the point that, unlike the physical punishments for Marshmallow Head and Metal Prisoner, Mother Justice's punishment against Impact for failing to stop the villain infiltration is forbidding her from eating anything for a month, something that leaves her a sobbing and starving mess.
* BioAugmentation: The Scientist has a thing for this, particularly creating monsters by [[LegoGenetics taking a living being and adding elements from other creatures to it]], as with the ManEatingPlant (plant + animal), Mr X (cat + human), GG (human + cockroach), Black Lion (human + lion), and Water Bear-chan (human + water bear).
* BlackComedyRape: X-chan ravishes [[spoiler:Licht]] when she accidentally gets dosed with an aphrodisiac. Tentacles included. ''Right there in front of everyone present.'' [[spoiler: Including his ''mother''.]]
* BlandNameProduct: Used all over the place, eg: 6/11 and Hentucky Fried Chicken.
* BlessedWithSuck: The hero Metal Prisoner wasn't told he wouldn't be able to take off his PoweredArmor until ''after'' he'd put it on.
* BlobMonster: Slime Tanaka, the leader of the Monster Benefit Society, is revealed to be one. Being treated like a CuteSlimeMook is his BerserkButton.
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: [[spoiler: Lightning Man and the Secretary, courtesy of the Hero League Chairman.]]
* BreakingTheFourthWall: The characters periodically reference the fact they're in a manga, such as directly referring to previous chapters about prior events, and pointing out how it took RX nearly 50 chapters to try doing something genuinely evil, in this case rob a bank. They only do this occasionally, though, and otherwise treat the story seriously.
* BusmansHoliday: To his chagrin, Braveman can't go on vacation without running into Team RX.
* ButtMonkey:
** Rose Princess tries to portray herself with elegance and dignity, but the story lets her have ''neither''.
** Serious Glasses is near-constantly SurroundedByIdiots so badly that heavy amounts of indigestive medications are effectively part of his daily meals. [[spoiler:It gets even worse when he takes over the job of being in charge of the Hero League, as the stresses of having to command everybody makes him start having aneurysms.]]
* TheCameo:
** The titular characters of the author's previous manga ''Mishiro San To Yamada Kun'' appear in chapter 19.
** Wall Slam Man from ''Mishiro San To Yamada Kun'' also makes an appearance in chapter 46, and again in chapter 62.
** The Elf from another of the author's manga ''Ii Orc No Hi'' appears as a figurine in chapter 94.
* CartoonMeat: Invoked in chapter 46: GG and Minion 2 patronise a stall specifically selling "manga style" cylindrical meat on a bone.
* CaughtTheHeartOnHisSleeve: The Secretary shyly grabs the Boss' sleeve this way during one of the Villain League meetings, to Rose Princess' jealous fury.
* CensorSteam: The series uses both the steam and ray of light variants. It's lampshaded in chapter 52.
* CherryBlossoms: RX hold a viewing of them in chapter 23 ...despite none actually being present. Their romantic connotations still manage to sneak in though, with Minion 2 and GG getting their first ShipTease, something the others can only attribute to spring.
* ChristmasEpisode: Chapters 38 and 39, two consecutive stories set at Christmas.
* ChromeChampion: [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Iron Girl]], the number 2 of the Monster Benefit Society, can turn herself into iron as her superpower.
* {{Chuunibyou}}: The BDS Group[[note]]Black Dark Shadow, as if that wasn't a giveaway.[[/note]] is full of them, especially their leader Schwartz Phantom. [[spoiler: Chapter 108 in volume 7 reveals that Schwartz Phantom's true superpower is being a MasterOfIllusion bordering on {{Reality Warp|er}}ing, depending on the strength of his imagination -- meaning that his powers depend on, and feed into, him being a hopeless chuuni]].
* ClingyCostume: Metal Prisoner's experimental PoweredArmor permanently connects to the wearer's nervous system, thus removing it will kill the wearer, a fact that Metal Prisoner was only informed of ''after'' he put it on.
* ClingyJealousGirl:
** Rose Princess is a violently obsessed PsychoLesbian towards the Secretary, and she utterly despises the Boss for having the Secretary's affections, taking any chance she gets at attempting to MurderTheHypotenuse before she gets stopped with an explosion from the Secretary herself.
** Rose Mist utterly worships the ground her mistress Rose Princess walks on, and is desperate for her to even notice her romantically. She absolutely hates how the Secretary has Rose Princess' obsessively undivided attention, and occasionally tries to fight or kill her so that she can potentially redirect her mistress' attention to herself. Said efforts against the Secretary are either ignored or responded to with an annoyed explosion.
* ClothingDamage: Used for both {{fanservice}} and [[PlayedForLaughs humour]]. Various attacks frequently leave characters' clothes in tatters.
* CombatCommentator: {{Subverted|Trope}} humorously during the battle between GG and [[spoiler:a brainwashed Lightning Man]]. Slime Tanaka starts running a commentary about how the fight is going, claiming that he has SuperSenses which let him view the two characters despite both having SuperSpeed that makes them near invisible to the naked eye outside of their {{Kung Fu Sonic Boom}}s. But near the end of the fight, it turns out he was just shouting incorrect nonsense since he has normal senses as well, to which Slime Tanaka admits that he just wanted to be involved somehow.
* ComedicShotacon: In chapter 43 RX considers scouting a slit-mouthed woman who uses her frightening appearance to stun young boys and then have her way with them. The comedy comes from the subversion of the usual expectation of the UrbanLegend being murderous as opposed to being a pervert. Not quite comedic enough to avoid getting arrested though, after the General's antics give her intended victims a chance to press their alarm and leave her leg too sore to escape.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Schwartz Phantom is an [[{{Chuunibyou}} overdramatic]] idiot, but he turns out to be remarkably well researched and resourceful when things get serious, easily figuring out the party responsible for [[spoiler:kidnapping the Secretary]] and what their plan is. His black flames are also able to one-shot an enemy that all four of his subordinates can't even damage.
* CutLexLuthorACheck: The story as a whole fully averts this. The various villain organizations completely lack OffscreenVillainDarkMatter, so all of them have various non-criminal side-gigs they use to provide money for their causes utilizing their abilities and other skills, such as the Monster Benefit Society taking up jobs as "fake" monsters during Halloween. RX takes this the furthest, as they're a borderline case of PerpetualPoverty, so everybody is constantly looking out for ways to maintain a consistent income and keep from going broke.
* DarkActionGirl: The General, GG and the Secretary are this, as they work for the villainous RX organization which is bent on world domination. However, the most active member remains the General herself.
* DatePeepers: In a fit of [[GreenEyedMonster seething envy]], Minions 1 and 3 end up stalking Minion 2 when they think he's on a date with GG. [[spoiler:She wanted to find a birthday present for her dad, and asked Minion 2 along for his input.]]
* DatingCatwoman: Later on in the story, [[spoiler:Mother Justice's son Licht]] falls in love with RX's newest monster X-chan, a human plant tentacle girl. Ultimately it ends with him traumatized by her when she [[BlackComedyRape forcibly mates]] with him, but it's shown that she likes him and wants to be with him. [[spoiler: His mother [[DatingWhatDaddyHates does]] ''[[DatingWhatDaddyHates not]]'' [[DatingWhatDaddyHates approve]].]]
* DirtyOldMan: Much like Master Roshi, Marshal Turtle is all about perving on shapely young women. He goes apoplectic on Braveman upon learning that women are throwing themselves at him.
* DoNotCallMePaul: Kamen Soldier is the only character who has their actual name referenced, with it being Suzutanaka Yamatarou (localized as "Skeeter Hatfield" in the English translation of Volume 2, though reverted to the original Japanese the following volume). He also utterly ''hates'' being called by his real name, since the spelling and meaning of it makes his origins as a country-bumpkin nobody before becoming a hero obvious. Various characters repeatedly call him by it purely for the sake of insulting him, and it's such a generic name that he gets a case of AccidentalMisnaming from Honest Rate, which pisses him off even more than using the proper spelling.
* TheDreaded: Mother Justice, the strongest member of the Hero League, is the only one capable of keeping the other top heroes in line, mostly through fear.
* DrillSergeantNasty: The head of the Hero League training program isn't hesitant to verbally beat down the recruits.
* DrivenToSuicide: Played for laughs. The General responds to her lack of resemblance to Braveman's [[HasAType type]] by requesting someone buy her a rope and a stool, and find her a nice tree.
* EmbarrassingSuperpower: GG wanted to have the speed and agility of a ninja. She got them... at the price of her powers being cockroach-based. Even when she's running fast enough for a DoppelgangerSpin it sounds like a cockroach skittering across the floor.
* EnemyMine: Braveman is forced to ally with the Villain League to stop [[spoiler:the Chairman of the Hero League.]]
* EnergyWeapon: The Scientist has invented several but the recoil is always too great to use.
* EveryoneCanSeeIt: It becomes increasingly obvious to everybody how there's a clear case of romantic interest between the Boss and Secretary, given how they repeatedly interact in ways filled with affection and loyalty. Obvious to everybody but themselves, that is, as the two keep going about their days each thinking the other only has a platonic view of their relationship. It reaches its zenith in Chapter 69, where the sight of them being ''almost'' there is so annoying to the General, since her own "romance" has made zero progress, that [[ShipperOnDeck she and the Scientist]] hatch plans to try ''forcing'' them to hook up.
* EvilerThanThou: When RX tries to rob a bank they're immediately taken hostage by real criminals.
* EvilIsNotWellLit: Deliberately used in BDS' base, where the {{Chuunibyou}} members like to spend most of their time just chuckling evilly around a table in near total darkness. [[OnlySaneMan Weiss Salamander]] wishes they'd turn the lights on.
* {{Expy}}:
** Kamen Soldier is based on the Showa-era Franchise/{{Kamen Rider}}s.
** Marshmallow Head is an expy of Literature/{{Anpanman}}, being a superhero with a head made of food.
** Metal Prisoner's PoweredArmor bears more than a passing resemblance to that of ComicBook/IronMan.
** Marshal Turtle is a pretty obvious shout out to [[Manga/{{Dragonball}} Muten Roshi]].
** Jester dresses as his namesake, always smiles, uses traps armed with noxious gas, and takes delight in antagonizing Braveman (and the General), a clear allusion to ComicBook/TheJoker.
* FaceOfAThug: Chapter 50 has RX take in for the day a stray monster called Balor who looks ''ridiculously'' evil and has raw power to match, but who turns out to be a nervous wreck that faints at the drop of a hat.
* FakeHairDrama: The General winds up getting kicked out of the Hero League training program by knocking off the wig of the instructor and revealing his baldness.
* {{Fanservice}}: Separate from the designated cases of MsFanservice, Mr X and the male minions are quite pleased by the sight of two schoolgirls falling in love due to a misapplied LovePotion ...which quickly becomes major FanDisservice when two middle aged businessmen do the same.
* FemmeFatale: [[SexyBacklessOutfit Expensive gown]], check. [[HighClassGloves Long gloves]], check. [[GoodSmokingEvilSmoking Cigarette holder]], check. Rose Princess clearly ''sees'' herself as an [[ManOfWealthAndTaste elegant]] and ruthless lady ...but in practice she's just as much of a ButtMonkey as everyone else around her.
* FlyingBrick: The chief agent of the Hero League, Mother Justice, is a flying, super strong, energy wielding beast of a woman who can intimidate the next 3 strongest heroes all at once for it.
* {{Foil}}: Kamen Soldier and Honest Rate are pretty much like night and day when it comes to their characters, a contrast enhanced by them being made partners. Kamen Soldier is an arrogant tryhard guy who's constantly boasting about his abilities due to his InferioritySuperiorityComplex compelling him to avoid being a nobody, while Honest Rate is a diligent and hard-working girl who's a case of TheAce that's constantly pushing herself to improve due to her HeroicSelfDeprecation preventing her from seeing how amazing she already is.
* ForgottenFirstMeeting: Braveman saved the General from a falling steel beam when they were both teens. Neither knows the other is the same person from their past.
* ForHalloweenIAmGoingAsMyself: The Monster Benefit Society get a lot of employment opportunities out of Halloween.
* ForTheEvulz: Chapter 87 reveals the existence of the "Organization", a group of individuals whose only motivation is to commit evil for evil's sake. Members include [[MadScientist The Ph.D.]], [[spoiler:the former Chairman of the Hero League, alias Mr. Brainwashing]], and [[MonsterClown Jester]].
* ClassicalElementsEnsemble: Schwartz Phantom's subordinates each represent a classical element, with several of their names directly invoking the AlchemicElementals. Weiss [[FierySalamander Salamander]] has [[PlayingWithFire fire-based powers]], Ground {{Golem}} has [[DishingOutDirt earth-based abilities]], Violet Aquarius has [[MakingASplash water-based abilities]], and Gruen Hurricane [[BlowYouAway has air-based abilities]].
* FromTheMouthsOfBabes: A trio of kids say some pretty piercing things to the General in chapter 45.
* FunbagAirbag: After being [[ShrinkRay shrunk]] in an experiment, Minion 1 ends up getting launched across the room right into the sleeping Scientist's cleavage. Cue him turning back to normal on top of her naked body.
* FunnyBackgroundEvent: While Braveman tries to get the Boss or Black Lion to fight him at the beach, one can see GG in the background trying to volunteer, then going into a CornerOfWoe when she's ignored.
* GenreSavvy:
** The Minions clear out when the Boss makes the Secretary dress up as a maid and do chores for him, knowing that it can't end well. They theorise that the Boss knows this too really, but considers it WorthIt.
** The General realises that keeping a LovePotion in the base's communal fridge is just asking for trouble. Alas, it's already too late.
** Schwartz Phantom is horrified when he realises the epic battle he wants with top 4 heroine Impact is turning into a comedy gag instead.
* GiantFood: One chapter has RX go foraging for food in the woods after the Scientist sprays the area with plant growth promoter. They wind up running afoul of a titanic mushroom and an equally giant bamboo shoot duking it out like {{Kaiju}}.
* GreenEyedMonster:
** A literal example with stray monster Zero Duty, who's feelings of Valentine's envy mutated him into a chocolate stealing beast that seeks to destroy the holiday.
** Minions 1 and 3 stalk Minion 2 when they think he's going out with GG, refusing to allow him to be more successful with girls than they are.
* GroinAttack:
** Zero Duty gets kicked hard between the legs by the General, much to the male onlookers' horror.
** In chapter 64, the General, Minions 1, 2, 3, and RX's Boss each make threats on the ArcVillain's balls, with Braveman starting to wonder if they have some weird fixation. [[spoiler: The General is the one to eventually make good on her threat to livestream his face as she delivers the decisive kick.]]
* HalfHumanHybrid: GG, Black Lion and Water Bear-chan are all bio-augmented humans with animal traits given to them by the Scientist. Mr X approaches the trope from the other way, as a cat given human traits.
* HealingFactor: Both Slime Tanaka and Marshmallow Head have one, leading to a MutualDisadvantage when they fight.
* HeroicSelfDeprecation: Honest Rate has a rather low sense of self-esteem, constantly putting herself down and training harder in the hopes of becoming a great hero. Even though it's clear to everybody that she's already an exemplary hero, she's so stubborn in her belief that she needs to constantly get better that she blocks out any praise.
* HotSpringsEpisode: In chapter 52, the RX Group decide they need to get away from the hot weather by heading to a secret hot spring.
* InconsistentDub: Volume 2 of the official North American English release localized Kamen Soldier's real name as "Skeeter Hatfield", while in volume 3 half of his Japanese name, "Suzutanaka", is used, with no reference to volume 2's name.
* InelegantBlubbering: Schwartz Phantom's reactions to heartwarming stuff are just as overdramatic as everything else he does.
* InferioritySuperiorityComplex: There are strong hints that the reason why Kamen Soldier acts like a SmugSuper is because he's fully aware that he's basically a country-bumpkin nobody outside his hero identity, and is constantly hyping himself up out of the fear that he might return to being a nobody.
* InLoveWithYourCarnage: The Princess of the Rogue Roses becomes smitten with the Secretary's explosions.
* IsThisThingStillOn: Metal Prisoner runs afoul of the Robot Yakuza when his MissionControl starts badmouthing them over his intercom.
* ItsAllUpstairsFromHere: RX exhaust themselves climbing the stairs of the hero headquarters during their raid.
* KinkySpanking: What Minion 2 imagines when he hears that Rose Mist is being punished by Rose Princess for attacking RX.
* KungFuSonicBoom: GG and [[spoiler: Lightning Man]] have a ''Manga/DragonballZ''-esque high speed battle in chapter 56 with onlookers only able to see their mid-air impacts.
* LegionOfDoom: The Villain League, comprising various evil organizations who decided to set aside their differences in the face of the Hero League.
* LovePotion: The General tries to dose Braveman on more than one occasion. [[HilarityEnsues Naturally it never reaches the right target.]]
* MadScientist: The Ph.D. is a member of the "Organization" whose "experiments challenge the bounds of science and dabble in the taboo". He's created multiple clones of the General, but they are not as well controlled as he thought they would be.
* ManEatingPlant: The Scientist is introduced being attacked by a giant flower monster of her own creation. [[spoiler: She follows up on her plans to improve it in a later chapter.]]
* MassHypnosis: [[spoiler: The ultimate plan of the Chairman of the Hero League is to TakeOverTheWorld by broadcasting his hypnotic abilities worldwide.]]
* {{Meido}}:
** The Boss has the Secretary dress up as one to make up for (supposedly) breaking one of his figurines.
** His tastes are shared by one of the underworld figures RX tries to sell to in chapter 39.
** Three of the General's clones wind up having to work at a maid cafe to earn a living.
* MesACrowd:
** Slime Tanaka considers weaponising his ability to split himself in chapter 67 this way ...except he ''doesn't'' actually have that ability. Iron Girl tries having him [[HalfTheManHeUsedToBe torn apart]] in annoyance.
** The General gets herself duplicated many times over in a later arc.
* MirrorBoss: During the villains' raid on the heroes' base, Mechayama Juuzou ends up fighting Metal Prisoner and Slime Tanaka fights Marshmallow Head. The latter pair's powers wind up being so similar that [[MutualDisadvantage neither can hurt the other]], much to their frustration.
* MsFanservice: The female members of the main cast are frequently shown off in ways that put their attractively well-developed bodies on display, particularly the fact that their nipples are near-constantly erect and visible no matter what outfits they're wearing. The General gets the brunt of it, both through sexy cover art and occasional situations where she acts as a ShamelessFanserviceGirl towards Braveman (something that disgusts him even more than her usual flirting), but the other girls get in on the fun too, such as the Scientist also being a ShamelessFanserviceGirl, not really getting what's the big deal about exposing herself, even [[SleepsInTheNude sleeping naked]] due to feeling too restless otherwise, and GG acting as the designated ReluctantFanserviceGirl, often ending up in situations that expose her body or put her into sexy positions against her will.
* MutualDisadvantage: Neither Slime Tanaka nor Marshmallow Head can dish out enough damage to overcome the other's HealingFactor.
* NamelessNarrative: 99% of the cast is never referred to by their actual names. There are rare exceptions, such as Kamen Soldier's real name Susutanaka Yamatarou ([[DoNotCallMePaul which he strongly wishes nobody would call him, since it reminds him of his country-bumpkin origins]]), but the vast majority are referred to by a moniker:
** The Black General, the Scientist, the Secretary, and the Boss are all cases of EveryoneCallsThemBarkeep, referencing their roles in RX.
** The minions are all a case of YouAreNumberSix, being called Minion 1, Minion 2, and Minion 3.
** The various other superheroes and supervillains, such as Braveman, Black Lion, GG, and Water Bear-chan, are only referred to by their super-identities.
** Even the organization of the main cast, RX, is an example. It's quite clearly an acronym, but what it stands for is never mentioned at any point.
* {{Ninja}}: GG wanted to have the abilities of a ninja, so she agreed to be turned into a monster. Unfortunately for her self-esteem, she became part-cockroach.
* NominalHero: The vast majority of "heroes" in the story aren't very heroic mentally. While everybody in the Hero League works to keep the world safe, they're pretty much a RagtagBunchOfMisfits who oftentimes fight more with each other than they do the villains, and a good deal of them fall more under PunchClockHero, only fighting because they get something out of it.
* {{Nosebleed}}:
** The General gets them frequently over Braveman.
** Minion 1 when he discovers the Scientist SleepsInTheNude.
** Rose Princess also gets one over the Secretary in her introductory chapter and Rose Mist gets one over her master in a swimsuit spread.
* NotWhatItLooksLike:
** Braveman seems cursed to have people assume he's a willing participant to the General's antics.
** In Chapter 46, Minions 1 and 3 stalk Minion 2 and GG, getting ready to beat the pulp out of him for daring to go on a date with her. Then it turns out she wanted a guy to advise her in choosing a gift of her parent's anniversary.
* TheNudifier: On seeing the General and the Minions [[TentacleRope tied up]] by her [[ManEatingPlant flower monster]], the Scientist verbally kicks herself for not having thought to give it acidic secretions that only melt clothes, earning a WTF from everyone else. [[spoiler: Version 2 has exactly that upgrade, to the misfortune of the General, the Minions, GG and Honest Rate.]]
* OhCrap: Mr X has a good one when he realises the applicant he's been bullying is actually the head of the Villain League.
* OldMaster: Marshal Turtle, a retired hero who Braveman goes to visit for advice and training with Honest Rate and Karmen Soldier. Unfortunately, he's also a DirtyOldMan who punishes Braveman for his CluelessChickMagnet ability.
* OmniscientCouncilOfVagueness: The General manifests one of these as her GhostInTheMachine while trying to process a potential rival for Braveman's affections. Each member of the council is a version of herself filling a common archetype -- one General with a bushy scientist mustache, another wearing square glasses, and the leader doing a [[Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion Gendo]] impersonation.
* OnlySaneMan:
** Mechayama Juuzou is the only leader among the Villain League that has his head mostly on his shoulders, even if he has a few eccentricities himself that can make him NotSoAboveItAll.
** Hero League rep Serious Glasses serves as one amongst the heroes' board of higher ups.
** Weiss Salamander is the only known member of BDS who isn't a pretentious {{Chuunibyou}}.
* PlayfulCatSmile: A frequent art choice when characters are being coy.
* PlayingWithFire: Schwartz Phantom has the power to wield some kind of black flames, and his second in command, Weiss Salamander, wields white ones.
* PoorCommunicationKills: RX's first Christmas party almost goes down the tubes due to not deciding ahead of time who should bring what food. Fortunately, Secretary and GG save the day.
* PottyEmergency:
** Mr X wets himself after incurring the wrath of Black Lion by taking his food.
** Because his powers are [[MindOverMatter mental rather than physical]], when [[spoiler: RX is drugged in chapter 97, the Boss is dosed with a laxative to get him off the scene instead of the paralysing agent everyone else had.]] There's no toilet paper in the only port-a-potty too.
* PoweredArmor:
** The Scientist invents a set in chapter 10 that the General gets the Minions to use ...without the control helmet.
** Hero League member [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Metal Prisoner]] is trapped in one due to it being permanently attached to his nervous system.
* PowerfulButIncompetent: Balor, a cyclops who looks like an RPG endboss, with EyeBeams strong enough to destroy a city, but who faints at the slightest provocation (or after using his abilities).
* PsychoLesbian: The Rogue Roses' knight Rose Mist has an unhealthy obsession with her leader, who in turn has an unhealthy obsession with the Secretary.
* PunchAWall: Wall Slam Man's self-proclaimed heroic goal is to prevent frustrated people from punching "innocent walls" by asking them to punch him instead.
* PunchClockHero: While there are a few genuinely heroic characters, the vast majority of "heroes" in the Hero League aren't really into heroism for the goodness of it. Some do it for the money, some do it for fame and recognition, and some do it because it legally allows them to beat people to a pulp without fear of repurcussion.
* RapidFireFisticuffs: A favoured fighting technique of the Robot Yakuza's leader, throwing 1000 punches in quick succession.
* RobotMaid: RX's only successful sale to a group of shadowy underworld types ends up being a rather janky maid-bot.
* RocketPunch: Another of Mechayama Juuzou's techniques, which the Boss gets a taste of first hand (haha) after nonchalantly mocking it.
* RunningGag: Whenever the Boss and Secretary have some time alone together, whatever other circumstances might occur, one thing that's guaranteed to happen is the Secretary getting so flustered, whether from the Boss' idiocy or experiencing a romantic moment with him, that she blows up the entire base.
* ScarfOfAsskicking: Kamen Soldier, in keeping with being a Kamen Rider expy.
* SexySecretary: Four of the five Villain League groups have a beautiful woman as their second in command. To quote the author's bio of RX's Secretary: "Any evil boss has to have a blonde secretary by his side. It's practically the law."
* SharpDressedMan: The Secretary, General, and GG all dress up in dapper suits for RX's product presentation in chapter 39.
* ShipTease:
** Ever since he cheered her up by calling her cute, GG is noted to get blushy around Minion 2. In chapter 86 it's revealed they finally started dating a week prior.
** There's implied to be a little something between the Secretary and the Boss deep down, as seen when she embraces him after [[spoiler: being saved from her kidnapping]].
** Every once in a while, there comes to be a few scenes or even an entire chapter which provide hints that Braveman and the General actually have the potential for making a good couple, since whenever circumstances arise that either nullify potential antagonism (like Braveman temporarily getting amnesia) or they somehow cross each other while in their {{Secret Identit|y}}ies, the General shows that she's both AboveTheInfluence and genuinely finds Braveman's true FaceOfAThug appearance rough but cool without any bias about his identity.
* ShipperOnDeck: The General and the Scientist try spurring the Boss and the Secretary to act on their feelings in chapter 69, mostly because they're sick of watching them fail to acknowledge [[EveryoneCanSeeIt something so obvious]].
* ShrinkRay: Shrink ''spray''. Minion 1 gets shrunk down by the Scientist in one of her experiments, then attacked by a robot mouse.
* SmashingWatermelons: RX play the melon smashing game during their trip to the beach.
* SomethingPerson: Braveman and Lightning Man.
* SpyCam: The General gets one built into her hat pin, but to her dismay, she can't get any clear pictures of Braveman when he's moving around. In the end she has to ask him to stand still while she uses it, [[ComicallyMissingThePoint defeating the point of it being covert]].
* StatingTheSimpleSolution: After many chapters of RX being hard pressed for money, Mr X asks why the self professed evil organisation doesn't just steal some. All present are stunned to silence at how obvious this should have been. Of course, given how badly they screw up the bank heist, it wasn't that "simple" at all.
* TakeOverTheWorld:
** The Rogue Roses, who wish to take over the world so they can reshape it to their ideals of elegance.
** The Robot Yakuza desire to conquer the world and build a civilisation of, by, and for robots.
** Similarly, the Monster Benefit Society seeks to create a world for monsters like themselves.
** The BDS Group seem to want to take over the world [[{{Chuunibyou}} just because it's cool.]]
** [[spoiler:The Chairman of the Hero League is revealed to actually be attempting to subjugate the Alliance and eventually the world through MassHypnosis.]]
* ThanksForTheMammary:
** Braveman accidentally gropes the General in chapter 2. [[HeroicBSOD Guilt ensues.]]
** Kamen Soldier accidentally gropes Honest Rate in chapter 40. [[MegatonPunch Violence ensues.]]
* ThereWasADoor: Marshmallow Head blasts through a wall to enter a room because he's in a hurry. He doesn't quite seem to have got his head around doors just yet.
* ThousandYardStare: Played for laughs. Serious Glasses enters a state of tranquil horror after hearing about the PR nightmare that is [[spoiler: the evil plot of the Hero League Chairman and then the Villain League having successfully invaded the heroes' headquarters to stop him]]. Cut to Serious Glasses in a press interview later, still with the same stare.
* TrainingFromHell: Braveman gets some harsh words and even harsher training from OldMaster Marshal Turtle.
* TransformationIsAFreeAction: Discussed and averted. Lengthy transformations, power-ups, and telegraphed moves are a major no-no in fighting according to Marshal Turtle, who tells Braveman this in no uncertain terms.
* ValentinesDayEpisode: Chapter 19 focuses on the General trying to give her [[ChocolateOfRomance Valentine's chocolate]] to Braveman.
* VillainousBSOD: GG goes into a bad state of depression due to feeling useless compared to Black Lion. Minion 2 cheers her up by pointing out that while Black Lion is more of an anthropomorphic animal, GG kept her looks as a CuteMonsterGirl.
* VillainTeamUp: The Villain League, specifically formed to counter the heroes' counterpart.
* WardrobeMalfunction: The General's victory over [[spoiler: the Hero League Chairman]] is somewhat marred by her shirt popping open and exposing her naked breasts on camera during a worldwide broadcast.
* WeAreStrugglingTogether:
** Rookie hero Honest Rate gets partnered with Kamen Soldier, but can't stand his approach to heroics. Every time they meet the bad guys, they end up fighting each other before they can get round to fighting their opponents.
** The top members of the Hero League can't go one meeting without fighting.
** Their villainous counterparts aren't much better in their alliance either.
* WhatMeasureIsAMook: Part of the story's parodic nature is that the FacelessGoons common in tokusatsu stories are instead treated as part of the major cast, with there being a specific number of goons in each villain group who showcase plenty of individual personality, most notably the Minion Trio of RX, who despite having a case of YouAreNumberSix manage to be distinct from one another. Some of those minions even get ShipTease with more visually distinct characters, like Minion 2 with GG.
* {{Yakuza}}: The Robot Yakuza lead by Mechayama Juuzou, one of the organizations belonging to the Villain League, are humanoid robots that act like a typical Japanese mafia.
* YouHaveFailedMe: Jester breaks into the secure facility where [[spoiler: the ex-chairman of the hero league]] is being held, not to break him out, but to gas him for his failure.
* YouWannaGetSued: Chapter 95 introduces a new villain with a penchant for using gas filled traps, wears a perpetual shit-eating grin, behaves like an utter {{Troll}}, and "looks an awful lot like a ''[[ComicBook/TheJoker playing card]]''". Him appearing in the same scene as Braveman, who's "silhouette looks like a ''[[Franchise/{{Batman}} certain other hero's]]''" makes the General nervous that the manga will catch the attention of "''[[Creator/DCComics their]]''" lawyers. Him calling Braveman "Bats" in his response does not help. To top it off he reveals his alias is "Jester" when he leaves.
