* ''Film/AlitaBattleAngel'': Alita is incredibly fast and agile, able to do things like stand on her hands on the Motorball while it is in play, then lever her body so as to throw both the ball and herself with devastating force. In the Motorball sequence, Alita creates a high-speed MookHorrorShow, knocking and tearing off limbs and heads from the hapless cyborg assassins sent to kill her while dodging their attacks.
* ''Franchise/{{Alien}}'':
** While most Xenomorphs fall under the GlassCannon with AcidAttack AlienBlood category [[labelnote:*]] [[Film/{{Alien}} Terrifying and almost unstoppable on a sealed starship]], but more easily dealt with MoreDakka on a planet with breathbale atmostphere [[/labelnote]], the [[HiveQueen Xenomorph Queen]] from ''Film/{{Aliens}}'' plays this straight being massively strong and fast for her size as well as able to survive Ripley going to town on her with a grenade launcher and flamethrower. It takes [[ThrownOutTheAirlock the cold vaccum of space]] to deal with the queen in the climax, or in the case of ''Film/AlienVsPredator'' falling into the Antarctic Ocean.
** [[{{Precursors}} The Engineers]] as seen in ''Film/{{Prometheus}}'' and ''Predator: Fire and Stone'' comic are definitely this. They are strong enough to rip the heads off androids and snap the bones of [[Franchise/{{Predator}} Yautja]], easily shrug off blows and endure shots from a plasma caster and they are frighteningly fast for their size. Tellingly it takes the combined effort of a Predator and human just to kill a single Engineer in the aforementioned comic.
* ''Film/TheAmazingSpiderMan'': The Lizard, who is very big, very strong and ''very'' fast. [[HealingFactor And can heal]] from any gun wound, even MoreDakka. in ''Film/SpiderManNoWayHome'' Lizard not only wounds Doctor Strange off-screen [[spoiler: but is able to keep up and repeatedly overpower three versions of Spider-Men (who are all Lightning Bruisers themselves), until MCU Spidey tricks him into biting down on the cure and he reverts back into Curt Connors.]]
* In ''Film/BladeRunner'' the Nexus-6 Replicants can run faster than humans and lift entire grown men one handed and will shrug off anything that's not a LAPD Blaster.
** The Nexus-9 Replicants in ''Film/BladeRunner2049'' are even stronger able to burst through walls just by charging through them and aren't too fussed by stab wounds or explosions.
* Jason Bourne from the [[Film/TheBourneSeries Jason Bourne]] film series definitely qualifies. Fast enough to react to danger before anyone else even realizes there ''is'' any danger, tough enough to take down multiple opponents before they know what hit them, and constantly thinking through his fights and using the environment to his advantage.
* ''Franchise/TheChroniclesOfRiddick'':
** Despite his size and weight, Riddick is incredibly quick on his feet and is capable of performing amazing feats of physical athleticism, such as leaping great distances, running without stop for long periods of time and being strong enough to go toe to toe with a Bioraptor and mutilating it.
* ''Film/TheDarkKnightTrilogy'':
** Batman/Bruce Wayne in ''Film/BatmanBegins'', due in part to Nolan's use of quick cuts for every move. He's more like TheJuggernaut in ''Film/TheDarkKnight''. ''Film/TheDarkKnightRises'' brings in elements of both tropes in his fights.
** Bane's portrayal in ''Film/TheDarkKnightRises'' demonstrates this as well. He is so tough he {{No Sell}}s all Batman's attacks until the latter learns to AttackItsWeakPoint and strong enough to punch holes in concrete. Yet he also has incredible reflexes and speed to match up with Batman; in the stock exchange raid, he uses a motorcycle helmet to knock out three security guards in under seven seconds.
* ''Franchise/DCExtendedUniverse''
** All the Kryptonians in ''Film/ManOfSteel''. Franchise/{{Superman}} himself is a certified FlyingBrick, and while [[SuperSoldier Zod and Faora]] are trained warriors and outclass him in skill, he's shown to [[UnskilledButStrong outstrip them in raw power]] thanks to his long exposure to Earth's sun. [[TheDragon Faora]] takes it a step further and liberally employs FlashStep.
*** In the finale, Zod acclimates to Earth and masters flight. We witness a titanic clash between two {{Flying Brick}}s and ''It. Is. Brutal''.
*** In ''Film/JusticeLeague2017'', [[spoiler:when a CameBackWrong Superman is [[CurbStompBattle curb-stomping]] the rest of the heroes, the Flash tries to run around behind him while he's distracted. There's a BulletTime sequence as the Flash runs, with everyone else appearing motionless, then Superman ''turns his head and [[DeathGlare glares]] right at him.'' Barry makes the mother of all OhCrap faces as he realizes that Superman can keep up with him. Flash is just barely faster than Superman and is able to evade all his attacks, which just as well since Flash is a FragileSpeedster.]] He also uses the flash step fast enough to catch even Wonder Woman by surprise.
** [[Film/WonderWoman2017 Wonder Woman]] is essentially a beautiful amazonian [[https://youtu.be/PaGi_qjfTpw?t=16 wrecking ball]]. She can go toe-to-toe against Kryptonians and in the climactic battle with Doomsday, she's able to more than keep up with the behemoth, block its blows, getting smashed through rubble and debris and comes away unscathed.
** Batman also qualifies, at least by [[BadassNormal human standards]]. At one point, he's seen clearing house on twenty mooks in no time and demonstrates skill, agility, speed and strength with a fighting display straight out of the Arkham games. Keep in mind that until ''Series/Titans2018'', this was the ''oldest Batman to be depicted in live action''.
** Doomsday takes Kryptonian strength and amps it up to eleven in a body of feral and uncontrolled rage.
** ''Film/{{Aquaman|2018}}'' has enough strength to lift a submarine, tank getting shot in the chest with a grenade launcher and swim at speeds of at least Mach 4.6. as he can create sonic booms in the water behind him. Even againist stronger foes like Steppenwolf he was still able to send the New God flying with a blow of his quindent.
** The eponymous [[Film/SHAZAM2019 Shazam]], the villain Doctor Sivana [[spoiler: and the rest of the kids]] are literal [[ShockAndawe Lightning]] [[FlyingBrick Bruisers]].
** Nanue aka King Shark from ''Film/TheSuicideSquad''. Strong enough to rip a man in half like he's MadeOfPlasticine, durable enough to survive an entire army's worth of MoreDakka shooting at him and much like the Hulk is much FasterThanTheyLook. From the same movie there's also Starro, who is extremely fast for a {{Kaiju}}-sized alien starfish and it takes the combined effort of the eponymous squad to take it down.
%% * ''Film/{{Elysium}}'': Max, Kruger, Drakey, and Crowe all qualify.
* Martin Brundle/[[HalfHumanHybrid Martinfly]] from ''Film/TheFlyII'' after he fully mutates. Unlike his father in [[Film/TheFly1986 the first film]] (who got his genes mashed together with those of a fly, which slowly transformed him into a strong, but [[BodyHorror sickly and asymmetrical]] monstrosity), Martin was born with those genes, meaning not only he's completely lucid, but his insect form is much more natural and viable. He's remarkably fast and capable of leaping great distances, strong enough to fold a grown man in half (''[[CruelAndUnusualDeath backwards]]'') and toss another one across the room. A bullet to the torso only very temporarily slows him down, if he wasn't outright feigning injury.
* ''Franchise/{{Godzilla}}'' and ''Film/MonsterVerse'':
** While he's usually a MightyGlacier, Godzilla himself was this in the Millennium era, having all his usual strength, [[BreathWeapon Atomic Breath]] but also [[InASingleBound able to make great leaps]], and do body slams as well. Though the results can be little [[{{Narm}} Narmtastic]]. [[spoiler:''Film/GodzillaKingOfTheMonsters2019'' shows that the [[{{Acrofatic}} bulky big G can be frighteningly fast if he wants to]], as he can charge on land like a rhino, and gracefully swim underwater with excellent mobility. Combining those physical abilities and traits with the HomeFieldAdvantage, Godzilla would successfully kill King Ghidorah underwater, [[NiceJobBreakingItHero until the military launches a nuke at them]]. In ''Film/GodzillaVsKong'' we get a proper demonstration of how much a Lightning Bruiser Goji is underwater as he completely dismantles poor Kong in their first bout in the ocean, swiftly swimming straight through the aircraft carriers Kong was using as life rafts, causing the ape to sink and Godzilla to wreck him in the water. Even on land after Kong overpowers him, Godzilla recovers and then effectively matches the primate, making full use of his claws, teeth and tail like a Crocodile to quickly and [[AlwaysSomeoneBetter decidedly defeat]] Kong as well as endure his blows thanks to his tough scaley hide.]]
** Titanosaurus is one of the few Kaijus who can toss Godzilla around ''like a pillow'', in addition to being extremely durable, able to jump high, and swim very fast.
** King Caesar has a deadly combination of speed, strength, agility, and toughness, along with surprising various martial arts techniques for his size. This makes him one of Goji's toughest foes and allies.
** King Ghidorah is just as strong and tough as Godzilla but thanks to a {{Flight}} speed that can reach over Mach 3, he's certainly more of a Lightning Bruiser than his titular rival is usually presented as.
** A lot of the HumongousMecha such as Mechagodzilla (especially [[Film/GodzillaAgainstMechagodzilla Kiryu]]) or M.O.G.U.E.R.A. can jump very high, move shocking fast and have plenty of firepower. [[spoiler: The Mechagodzilla seen in ''Film/GodzillaVsKong'' has jet boosters, powerful mechanical arms, and a BreathWeapon that manages to overpower Godzilla’s during a BeamOWar. Mechagodzilla is so overwhelmingly strong, fast and tough, Godzilla and King Kong need to briefly [[EnemyMine team up]] to defeat it]].
** Rodan, especially in ''Film/GodzillaKingOfTheMonsters2019'', where he can outpace fighter jets going at 7,500 mph and perform a 360° spin mid-flight, as well being strong and tough enough to fight Godzilla, Mothra, and the aforementioned Ghidorah.
** [[Film/KongSkullIsland King Kong]] lacks any powers like the previous examples, but he makes up for it with sheer primate agility to match his strength and durability. Technically he's only a teenager, yet he's been fighting and beating the lesser Kaiju that roam the Skull Island ''for decades''. [[spoiler: In ''Film/GodzillaVsKong'' an older King Kong manages to hold his own against his scaled rival several times. He’s able to stagger Godzilla with his punches, dodge the Atomic Breath from point blank range and outmaneuver Godzilla, and tanks an onslaught of blows like Rocky Balboa and even survives a blast of the aforementioned Atomic Breath to his back. Despite almost dying, Kong was able to temporarily overpower Godzilla and outright beat Mechagodzilla, admittedly partly due to his scale axe and [[BashBrothers getting help]] from his rival in the latter]].
** Monster X, who's essentially the badass FinalBoss of ''Film/GodzillaFinalWars'' gave Godzilla himself a hell of a fight. He was equal in strength to Godzilla and staggered him with a backhand and TailSlap, great agility and speed, and was the ONLY kaiju to actually survive a blast from Godzilla's Atomic Breath. [[NoSell Not only did he shrug it off quickly]], but X was also able to retaliate with his Gravity Beams that brought Godzilla down to his knees.
* In ''Film/IpMan2'', the Twister is not only as fast as Master Hung and Ip, but stronger and tougher. He holds the distinction of being the only character to knock Ip down onscreen.
* [[Film/ConanTheBarbarian2011 The 2011 version]] of Conan. The film is much TruerToTheText when it comes to the legendary barbarian's fighting style than the Arnie ones, and while he believably comes off as CharlesAtlasSuperpower incarnate; despite being played by the very muscular and 6'4" tall Creator/JasonMomoa, he also demonstrates all the ferocity, speed and agility that makes the character TheDreaded in Howard's stories.
* Creator/DanielCraig’s take on ''Film/JamesBond'' especially compared the previous Bonds. As seen in his films, he’ll muscle through armies of mooks, [[Film/CasinoRoyale2006 smash through drywall and bathroom stalls]], [[Film/{{Skyfall}} kill several armed henchmen in seconds]] and [[ThrowingYourGunAtTheEnemy catch a empty handgun thrown at his face]] and throw it back at his attacker’s face and shrug off gunshots to the chest and in general [[MadeOfIron endure an astonishing amount of pain]].
* Similarly Film/JohnWick is a Lightning Bruiser and OneManArmy even compared to the numerous other skilled professional super assassins in the films. John can perform a 180 degree headshot in seconds, nail 7 targets in one motion, overpower armoured opponents and trained ninjas and also survive getting shot several times and even falling off a building.
* ''Franchise/JurassicPark'':
** The ''Tyrannosaurus rex'' from ''Film/JurassicPark1993''. Hammond clocked her at thirty-two miles per hour and she's the largest and strongest carnivore on the island. This was TruthInTelevision, as the real ''T. rex'' was likely a capable runner. Subverted with the ''Velociraptors'' in the same film. As well as being highly intelligent, they are incredibly fast. But despite being perfectly capable of running down a human, they're no match for the ''T. rex''.
** In ''Film/JurassicWorld'', the genetic chimera known as ''Indominus rex'' takes this up to eleven, largely because it is in fact based on ''T. rex'' DNA, along with a few other things (like [[spoiler:[[RaptorAttack ''Velociraptor'']]]]).
* In ''Film/KungFuHustle'', The Beast is super strong and super fast even by the standards of the martial artists in the film. He demonstrates this to the Axe Gang who initially underestimate him due to his appearance by firing a handgun a few inches from his head and [[BulletCatch catching the bullet]]. And he's also so tough that most of the martial artists' attacks don't seem to bother him at all.
* In the ''Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse'':
** [[spoiler: Obadiah Stane[=/=]Iron Monger]] in the ''Film/IronMan'' film could be considered one of these; his suit (which is built like a Tank) is fast enough to catch up with Tony's despite Tony's smaller suit and head-start, while also being stronger to boot.
** For that matter, [[FlyingBrick Iron Man]] himself, Tony in his suits is strong enough to fight [[Film/TheAvengers2012 Thor]], [[Film/AvengersAgeofUltron Hulk]] [[spoiler: and even [[Film/AvengersInfinityWar freaking Thanos]] the Mad Titan]]. As for speed, in the first film Tony can fly faster than two F-22 Raptors who can go at 2,414 km/h (approximately 1500 mph). By the Battle of New York, he literally catches up to a speeding nuclear missile (probably going at 7,500 mph/12,000 kph), grabs it and then guides it through a portal into space. Tony's armors are crazy durable too, his third suit could shrug off tank rounds and his sixth suit could tank blows from Mjølnir.. the same hammer which knocked the Hulk over.
** ''Film/IronMan2'' has Ivan Vanko AKA Whiplash- aside from his namesake whips which are fast and powerful enough slice through multiple race cars likely going at 375 km/h, he also survives getting hit with a car multiple times. If that wasn't enough, he gets PoweredArmor similar to Iron Monger at the end forcing Tony and Rhodey to use a BeamOWar-CombinationAttack to beat him.
** ''Film/{{Thor}}'' is a literal version of this trope because he is the God of Thunder and Lightning. He's strong enough to throw his hammer through multiple Frost giants at a time, has the toughness to match, and he flies. Very, very fast. Fast enough to put a hole clean through an ice beast. [[spoiler: In ''Film/ThorRagnarok'' after Odin posthumously teaches Thor that Mjolnir is just conduit [[ItWaswithYouAllAlong for his lighting]], Thor takes his father's advice to heart and channels the [[https://i.pinimg.com/originals/7e/32/a2/7e32a21518a1825871d28ecf38ce0fd3.gif speed and power of a lightning bolt]] made of pure badass.]]
*** Speaking of ''Ragnarok'', Hela (Thor's older sister) of course qualfies. She's strong enough to crush Mjølnir in her bare hands, fast enough to throw knives into multiple major characters' hearts quicker than blinking and in combat is unbothered by getting stabbed or hit with a massive bolt of lightning from her little bro. [[spoiler: It takes the heroes summoning Surtur who nukes Asgard into space dust to kill her. Although they NeverFoundTheBody.]]
** The Incredible Hulk in ''Film/{{The Avengers|2012}}'' is [[https://tenor.com/view/sdcc-hulk-the-avengers-marvel-gif-3430906 remarkably fast]] for a huge green rage monster as poor Black Widow discovers when he starts chasing her down. It's especially evident during the final battle, when he's just plowing through the alien forces with amazing agility, smacking giant alien monsters around, and shrugging off any hits he takes. It's even emphasized when he, more or less good-naturedly, punches Thor out of frame and, later and much less good-naturedly, snatches Loki off his feet and literally wipes the floor with him -- in both cases before the Asgardians can even ''blink.''
** Vision is the true FlyingBrick of the Avengers, in ''Film/AvengersAgeOfUltron'' he flies faster than War Machine and can rip Ultron bots apart as easily as Hulk does.
** Gamora, Drax and Groot in ''Film/{{Guardians of the Galaxy|2014}}''. They hit harder, move faster and can tank greater damage than Quill, Rocket and Mantis can.
*** Nebula is this too being a {{Cyborg}}, Ronan as well as seen in his fist fight with Drax.
** Both Captain America and Bucky Barnes the Winter Soldier demonstrate above human reflexes, speed and strength in the [[Film/CaptainAmericaTheWinterSoldier second film]] and subsequent appearances. It might not be as jawdropping as the other examples of this trope in the [=MCU=], but it's nonetheless quite impressive. Cap with his shield has the charging speed of a human cannon ball; being able to [[ShieldBash smash]] straight through solid walls like cardboard.
*** [[spoiler: Cap becomes a literal Lightning Bruiser in ''Film/AvengersEndgame'' when he wields Mjølnir]].
** Taskmaster from ''Film/{{Black Widow|2021}}'', can match and overpower the likes of Black Widow and her adoptive father Alexei Shostakov in speed and strength, thanks to an EnemyScan ability and incredible reflexes as well as survive an entire sky base exploding around [[spoiler: her]].
*** Red Guardian himself the Russian SuperSoldier is a decent Lighting Bruiser even compared to the aforementioned Cap and Bucky. He’s strong enough to flip a chemical trailer over as easily a pillow, fast enough catch up with a speeding plane before take off, and tough enough to survive falling from great heights and requires a dozen tranquillisers darts to be brought down. He’s also the only character in the film able to hold his own against Taskmaster for a prolonged length of time.
** Black Panther thanks to the [[SuperSerum Heart Shaped Herb]] is strong and tough enough to go toe-to-toe with Captain America and the Winter Soldier and fast enough to outrun them, and he is also, fitting his big cat motif, impressively acrobatic. In ''Film/{{Black Panther|2018}}'' T'challa can bring down a charging Rhino who are the Lightning Bruisers of the animal kingdom in RealLife capable of going 50 km/h, Black Panther ''is a beast''.
** [=MCU=]'s Spider-Man seems like a FragileSpeedster, but as the Winter Soldier and Falcon unfortunately discovered in ''[[Film/CaptainAmericaCivilWar Civil War]]'' he's a PintSizedPowerhouse. Spidey is capable of moving faster than bullets and at one point dodged Bucky throwing a bench at him [[IntheBack from behind]] thanks to his [[CombatClairvoyance Spider-Sense]]. As for strength Peter Parker can lift massive chunks of concrete off himself and briefly hold a split ferry together in ''Film/SpiderManHomecoming'', he's [[SuperToughness pretty]] [[MadeOfIron durable]] too getting up after being run ''over by a train'' in ''Film/SpiderManFarFromHome''. Most impressively in ''Film/AvengersInfinityWar'' Spidey can smash [[TheBrute Cull Obsidian]] with a taxi then later is able to stagger the HeroKiller Thanos with kicks and punches to the face.
** [[Film/CaptainMarvel2019 Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel]] [[spoiler: thanks to the Space Stone]] is super strong (she stopped a massive missile), super-fast (she can travel across the [[FasterThanLightTravel solar system in no time at all]]) and tough enough to plow straight through space ships. [[spoiler: In ''Film/AvengersEndgame'' she single-handedly destroys the Black Order’s starship and even puts Thanos briefly on the ropes]].
** Thanos himself is probably the biggest example of this in the whole Marvel cinematic universe so far, being able to go head to head and beat the Hulk in 30 seconds without even using the stones, with the stones he can destroy and throw a moon. In addition, Thanos can [[InvincibleVillain barely]] feel pain, only getting a scratch from Iron Man and being able to survive Thor's Stormbreaker getting logged in his chest. Interestingly Thanos unlike what you'd expect from this trope isn't even seen moving that fast aside from the start when he beats Hulk, the easy justification is that Thanos ''doesn't need'' swiftness when he can curb stomp everybody with strength and power alone. Even then Thanos has SuperReflexes seen when he catches the speedy Spider-Man and Black Panther out of mid-air. [[spoiler: Played straight in ''Film/AvengersEndgame'' Thanos shows even [[BroughtDownToBadass without]] the [[TrickedOutGloves Gauntlet]] he’s strong, fast and durable enough to fight the aforementioned Iron Man, Thor and Captain America in a three on one fight]].
** Most of the titular ''Film/{{Eternals}}'' are this with Thena, Gilgamesh and SpeedBlitz loving Makkari being some the most notable examples. SupermanSubstitute Ikaris however takes home the gold being massively strong, immensely durable and so fast he can travel from the Earth to the Sun in less than a minute (the distance of which is '''151.79 million km''', making him faster than light), [[spoiler: unsurpsingly it takes a CombinationAttack from the rest of the Eternals in order to give him any real trouble at all.]]
** Natasha Romanov aka Black Widow among the unenhanced [[BadassNormal Badass Normals]] in the MCU is certainly a LightningBruiser. She’s able to plow through armies of opponents as a OneWomanArmy, dodge gunfire and attacks from super assassins and alien warriors, grievously wound powerful foes like Corvus Glaive and recover from massive car crashes, falling multiple stories and even a backhand from the Hulk. [[spoiler: She even managed to defeat the aforementioned [[Film/BlackWidow2021 Taskmaster]].]]
* In ''Film/MasterAndCommander'', the ''Acheron'', the enemy ship that Captain Aubrey and the crew of the HMS ''Surprise'' are pursuing, is a fictional sister ship to the six super-frigates that the fledgling US Navy built (see the Ships section in "Real Life" category for this trope for details). As such, she can NoSell the ''Surprise'''s cannon fire to her hull... [[AttackItsWeakPoint but not concentrated fire on the base of her mainmast,]] or raking fire from behind.
* Agents in ''Franchise/TheMatrix'' can leap from rooftop to rooftop, are strong enough to punch holes in concrete, tough enough to survive falls off a skyscraper and fast enough to dodge bullets. The human resistance are this as well within the Matrix, but to a lesser degree, Neo's speed matching Agent Smith's is one of the first signs that he is The One. [[JustifiedTrope Justified]] because they exist in a simulated environment where the laws of physics don't apply.
** Neo and Agent Smith eventually become the ultimate expression of this by the end of the trilogy, both evolving into [[FlyingBrick Flying Bricks]] who lay waste to an entire city between them.
* The Australian Jaeger, Striker Eureka from ''Film/PacificRim''. Despite being the fastest of any of the unveiled Jaegers, it's easily a match in strength and durability to the MightyGlacier Russian Jaeger that out masses it by 560 tons. That said, considering size and scale of the Jaegers, 560 isn't a massive difference in weight. Justified, Cherno may have about 30% more mass than Striker, but Striker has four generations on Cherno.
* Zigzagged in the ''Franchise/{{Predator}}'' depending on the Yautja aka Predator in question. [[Film/{{Predator}} Jungle Hunter]] and [[Film/Predator2 City Hunter]] much like Xenomorphs while strong and fast are more like Glass Cannons, as they both get badly hurt and killed by BadassNormal humans with guns and traps and mainly rely on stealth. Played straighter with Scar from ''Film/AlienVsPredator'' (who shrugs off most damage and kills numerous Xenomorphs, including the queen), the Berserker from ''Film/{{Predators}}'' and espeically the Ultimate Predator from ''Film/ThePredator'' who is a 11 foot genetically created golaith. Certainly played straight with the Predator seen in ''Film/Prey2022'', like most Yautja it's incredibly strong (able to beat a Grizzly Bear to death) as well as having ninja-like speed but this all backed up by astonishing toughness even by Predator standards being able to shrug off getting stabbed numerous times, having his arm lopped off and even shot in the head at point blank range (admittedly with a 1700s flintlock) yet it still keeps on trucking. [[spoiler: Naru has use its own homing weapon againist it to put it down for good.]]
* All robots in ''Film/RealSteel'' are big, armored, and heavy. And yet they move no different than a heavyweight boxer. Atom even more so, as he is smaller than an average fighting bot (but still bigger than a human), while possessing a lot more armor (he can shrug off punches that shatter latest-generation contenders).
* Danny Bateman in ''Film/TheReplacements2000''. He plays on the defensive line, so you expect him to be strong. What you ''don't'' expect, is him crashing through the other team's blockers after the snap, and tackling the quarter-back before he's had the chance to take two steps back. The guy's day job? A one-man SWAT team.
* ''Film/SpiderManTrilogy'' besides the titular Wall-Crawler:
** Norman Osborn aka Green Goblin even compared to his comic version is a prime example. Raimi's Green Goblin is strong to enough PunchCatch Spidey and Spartan kick him so hard, he goes flying into a pole snapping it in half and in the climax fight he reacts to Spidey trying to web swing by jumping and kicking him down and he's tough to survive a entire brick wall falling on him, before getting a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown from a pissed off Peter. ''Film/SpiderManNoWayHome'' takes [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWcdF0ue7zE&ab_channel=FIGHTINGCINEMA this even further]] with him, as Norman is able to effortessly keep up with the above mentioned MCU Spidey, laughing off his initial punches (which could stagger the likes of Thanos) and at one point [[WrestlerInAllOfUs performs a spinebuster]] on him so powerful, he destroys multiple floors of an apartment building taking poor MCU Peter down to the lobby.
** Otto Octavius aka Doctor Octopus thanks to a combination of his [[MultiArmedAndDangerous four mechanical arms]] and being MadeOfIron, is this. He's able to repeatedly go toe to toe with Spider-Man, overwhelming him with the arms, defend himself from attacks from behind (like MJ armed with a wooden board) and survives Spidey (who we see stop a train in the same movie) punching him repeatedly in the face. In ''Film/SpiderManNoWayHome'', Otto easily keeps up with the Iron Spider suit and manages to overwhelm MCU Peter [[spoiler: until Nanomachines save Spidey's life at the last second]]. Later Otto survives Electro magnetically lifting him with electricity and smashing him through a wall and in climax [[spoiler: Otto reacts to the Goblin's throwing blades protecting Doctor Strange and manages to grab Norman on his gilder, which flies at high speeds.]]
* In ''Film/StarTrekIntoDarkness'', [[spoiler: [[GeneralRipper Admiral Marcus]]]] commissions the U.S.S. ''Vengeance'', a beast of a starship (called "[[TheDreadedDreadnought Dreadnought-class]]" in-movie) that is designed to run down enemy starships while at warp and tear them to shreds.
** BigBad SuperSoldier John Harrison [[spoiler: aka Khan Noonien Singh]] qualifies, being the physically strongest and toughest character in the film series seen so far, as well as being lightning fast in close combat.
* ''Film/StarTrekNemesis'' has the warbird ''Scimitar'', which is faster and more maneuverable than the ''Enterprise'' as well as having [[MoreDakka more guns]] and better DeflectorShields. Even the combined firepower of the ''Enterprise'' and two Romulan ''Valdore''-class warbirds isn't enough to destroy her.
* ''Franchise/StarWars'':
** The droideka in the prequels. It can roll into a ball and move at ridiculous speed, and when it unrolls, it's protected by a deflector shield and a pair of rapid-fire blaster cannons. In the films, they could drive off even Jedi. It's weakness? It can't deflect or shoot while it's rolling around, and it often has to lose the shield to reduce expenses. It's also revealed in the ''Film/RevengeOfTheSith'' novelization that their shields are precisely tuned to be used only when standing upright, so if one can be knocked over, its generator will short out.
** Yoda becomes this in the prequels, when the usually OldMaster drops his staff and pulls out his lightsaber to fight Count Dooku he becomes a green-blur forcing Dooku to threaten the fallen Obi-Wan and Anakin as to escape from Yoda. Yoda is truly the definition of a PintSizedPowerhouse, as for the lightning part of this trope [[spoiler: Yoda summons a literal lighting bolt in the ''Film/TheLastJedi'']].
** Darth Maul... thanks to being played by Ray Park. Maul combines his [[DoubleWeapon double-sided lightsaber]] with martial arts to kick the crap out of Qui Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan with CombatParkour, he is still the most ninja-like Sith Lord in movies to this date.
*** But we can't forget the badass who beat Maul: Obi-Wan who after seeing Maul kill Qui Gon got [[ExtremeMeleeRevenge extremely]] pissed and not only [[https://data.whicdn.com/images/30058252/original.gif dodged]] Maul's kicks but proceeded to slice Maul [[HalfTheManHeUsedToBe in two]]. Even as a old man Obi-Wan still has SuperReflexes as the Doctor Cornelius and Ponda Baba found out when they attacked Luke in Mos Eisley cantina.
** [[BigBad Palpatine]], as well. During his duel with Maul and Savage, he not only outclasses them in terms of swordplay, but proves to be much faster than either of them, as well as matching them in feats of strength, and doesn't show any signs of tiring. There's also his surprising [[https://thumbs.gfycat.com/FrigidTenseDunnart-max-1mb.gif spinning move]] which made it into subsequent video games.
** Anakin Skywalker is definitely this trope in ''Film/RevengeOfTheSith'', since he's at the peak of his abilities as TheChosenOne. Since [[Film/AttackOfTheClones the last film]] he's become much stronger and faster and takes down MasterSwordsman Count Dooku (who trounced him the first time they fought) and even though he's eventually defeated by his mentor Obi-Wan, it's still only after a hell of a fight. WordOfGod says that if he hadn't turned evil and become the HandicappedBadass we know as Darth Vader, he would've become the most powerful Jedi who ever lived and could have defeated Palpatine, something even [[OldMaster Yoda]] couldn't do.
*** Even with the walking life-support Vader is an ''absolute machine'' as ''Film/RogueOne'' shows, where he deflects dozens of blaster shots and acts as [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxL8bVJhXCM the human-blender]] to some extremely-unlucky rebels.
** Speaking of the Skywalkers, Luke when he became a Jedi butchers the whole of Jabba's crew in mere minutes when he gets his Lightsaber back as well overpowering dear old dad Vader in the climax. Luke also has SuperReflexes, as he cuts a speeder bike out of mid air with his lightsaber, not to mention to the [[Film/TheMatrix Matrix]] [[SwordLimbo dodge]] he does against Kylo in the climax of ''Film/TheLastJedi'' [[spoiler: though he was a AstralProjection there]]. [[spoiler: In ''Series/TheMandalorian'' we witness a younger Luke be a Lightning Bruiser MookHorrorShow like his father before him in ''Film/RogueOne'' as he effortlessly turns an army of [[KillerRobot Dark]] [[EliteMooks Troopers]] into scrap metal [[https://64.media.tumblr.com/323cedf7a4d9f7a13fba97508d413f03/050df2436d3c58b7-8f/s540x810/c60d33c244a0a5c72d242eee5c75cacea800eb6a.gif perfectly parring and blocking their attacks]] (even from behind) all while swiftly cutting and crushing them with his lightsaber and the force. Also just put it in perspective, just one Dark Trooper nearly killed the badass Mandalorian protagonist in a fight]].
** Kylo Ren has the raw destructive power of his uncle and grandfather, when chasing Rey through the forest on Star Killer-base he cuts through multiple trees with his tri-saber (faster than any real chain saw could). Kylo is also the first force user in the movies to stop a blaster volley [[BulletDodgesYou in mid air]]. Kylo also tanked getting hit with Chewie’s bowcaster and getting slashed by Rey in the face. [[spoiler: After his HeelFaceTurn in ''Film/TheRiseOfSkywalker'' Ben aka Kylo tanks getting thrashed by his own Knights of Ren and once Rey gets him a lightsaber he takes all six of them down in minutes]].
** Speaking of which Rey herself, can outrun tie-fighter blasts, defeat Kylo in one on one match and shred Elite Praetorian Guard to pieces all despite [[StrongButUnskilled not having more]] than a couple basic lessons in Jedi training. Rey can also take more of a beating than most female characters in Star Wars which overall makes her a CuteBruiser. [[spoiler: Given she’s the granddaughter who of the aforementioned Palpatine, Rey’s Lightning Bruiser-ness is to be expected]].
** Star Destroyers. The heavy anchors of the Imperial fleet and only matched by the very heaviest Rebel ships, but it is demonstrated in the first two movies that they can keep pace with the ''Falcon'' when going flat out (the ''Falcon'''s advantage is that they turn like a brick). Being able to outrun them ''at all'' is rare enough that Han has it as central to his boasting in his first scene. Oddly enough this gets cut in almost all adaptations, which make them a MightyGlacier.
** The Rebel's [=MC85=] Star Cruiser or ''Raddus'' from ''Film/TheLastJedi'' which showcases exactly [[http://img.saraba1st.com/forum/201801/22/210455o71f22a96322l8c9.jpg what]] [[https://78.media.tumblr.com/19f2f81adc725ff79ef26fcadc39fa7b/tumblr_p2d9nvdLnd1ul06x7o5_540.gif happens]] if you Hyperspace into another ship.
** The iconic ''Millennium Falcon'', which started out as a run-of-the-mill light freighter, received multiple modifications across its numerous owners, such that by the time Han Solo owned it, it had fallen well into this trope. In its film appearances, the ''Falcon'' can be seen matching speeds with smaller fighters, tanking hits from capital ships, wiping out entire squadrons of TIE fighters, and plowing through an entire forest without taking any real damage. While the main drawback of the ''Falcon'''s numerous modifications is that the craft is extremely volatile and certain systems, such as its hyperdrive, are prone to overloading, these components are built to last when unused—even when Rey found it in a neglected state during her escape from Jakku, most of the ship's systems still worked, and after some servicing, the ''Falcon'' functioned at more or less the same level of performance as it did during the Battle of Endor. The other drawback of the ''Falcon'' is its size, so even though it has the speed and maneuverability of a starfighter combined with the firepower, hyperspace capability and durability of a capital ship, it has trouble squeezing through narrow spaces that would otherwise be easier to navigate in smaller ships, such as the superstructure of the ''Death Star II'' and the caverns on Crait.
** But you don't have to be either a Jedi or a Starship to be a LightningBruiser in ''Franchise/StarWars'' as Chirrut Imwe proves in ''Film/RogueOne'' where despite being [[BlindWeaponMaster blind]] he takes down a whole Stormtrooper squad in seconds ''with a stick''.
* In ''Film/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles2014'', the greater size and weight these incarnations of the Turtles possess don't seem to do much in slowing down their traditionally acrobatic abilities. Special mention goes to Raphael, who has shoulders bigger than truck tires but is flipping and ninja-ing with the best of them, and even manages to sneak into the back of the Fenwick Express without April or Vernon hearing him. The Shredder's PoweredArmor also allows him to retain his swift fighting style.
* The Franchise/{{Terminator}} is fast, superhumanly strong, ''and'' incredibly tough, and the later movies showed them getting progressively faster and meaner. Between the [[Film/TheTerminator original]], [[Film/Terminator2JudgmentDay Uncle Bob]], the [[Film/Terminator2JudgmentDay T-1000]], the [[Film/Terminator3RiseOfTheMachines T-X]], [[Series/TerminatorTheSarahConnorChronicles Cameron, Cromartie, Catherine Weaver]], [[Film/TerminatorSalvation Marcus]], [[Film/TerminatorGenisys Pops]], [[Film/TerminatorDarkFate and the Rev-9]] there's no shortage of these tough, fast, and very literal killing machines.
** [[SuperSoldier Grace]] from ''Dark Fate'' is the sole [[{{Cyborg}} mostly human]] example being super strong, fast and tough enough to effectively match Terminators in combat. The downside is that she's still human, thus Grace risks [[HeroicRRoD burning herself out by fighting]] and does so.
* The Film/{{Transformers|FilmSeries}} are incredibly fast and graceful despite being made of huge, durable metal parts.
* ''Film/XMenFilmSeries''
** Toad from ''Film/XMen1''. Given it's [[Film/ThePhantomMenace Darth Maul]] portraying him...
** The Juggernaut from ''Film/XMenTheLastStand'' is big and strong, while also fast (particularly because he can't be stopped).
** The Liev Schrieber version of Sabretooth in ''Film/XMenOriginsWolverine''.
** Hank Mccoy aka Beast, a GeniusBruiser who tangles with Sentinels and is fast and tough enough to trounce Magneto in both timelines.
** Wolverine may be even more of Lightning Bruiser than usually is in the comics since he's played by 6'2 Hugh Jackman so when he goes on a [[UnstoppableRage berserker rage]] e.g [[https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OXina-fad5g the end]] of ''Film/{{Logan}}'' Wolvie feels utterly unstoppable.
