* From "Operation Lightspeed", seeing several ordinary but service oriented people rising to help as soon as they realize people need help. And the fact that this was the first ranger series with no Secret Identity. Seeing these new heroes rising up and being recognized as true heroes in and out of uniform is a new but sweet territory that Power Rangers moved into with this season.
** Even more noteworthy is that several of the Rangers are skeptical about the whole situation...until they see the screen depicting people being hurt and threatened by the Demons. ''All'' of them instantly say 'I'm in.' There's ''good reason'' they were chosen to be superheroes.
** A small moment, but look at the way Dana's face lights up when she discovered she was going to be the Pink Ranger. She thought her role was just to find the candidates but was more than happy to find out her father wanted her on the team.
** The fact that this season specifically centers on rescue workers is this in and of itself - the Rangers aren't chosen because they do the superheroing, even if that is part of the job proper. Their focus is often just as if not more on the specific work of trying to help people, of evacuating civilians, putting out fires, and doing work ensuring that the city is safe just as much as the world at large.
*** Even better? Look at any video on Lightspeed Rescue on Youtube, in the comments its common find people claiming to have gotten into rescue work because of this show.
* The early episode where Mitchell sends Dana on a solo mission to pick up his friend, with whom he’d entrusted an important power cell.
* The part in "Ocean Blue" when Chad and Marina press their hands against the glass a la the hand touch scene in ''WesternAnimation/{{Tarzan}}''.
* The end of "The Chosen Path," where Chad's old sensei finally accepts Chad's decision to become a Power Ranger and gets a tour of the Aquabase.
* Mitchell meets with Ryan to try to sway him from his path with Ryan wrongly blaming his father for abandoning him. He tackles Mitchell who grabs a tree branch and also his son, ensuring he's safe. They both hang on with Mitchell noting the tree won't support both of them. Giving a small smile, he lets go, ready to die to save his son. This drives Ryan to leap down and morph to save his father and realize how much his dad loves him.
* Seeing Dana and Captain Mitchell celebrating Ryan's birthday in "From Deep in the Shadows" after so many years, in spite of him being ''supposedly'' dead.
* What finally restores Carter's memory during "The Last Ranger?" Seeing Dana's face as she tries to battle the monster-of-the week by herself. Not only that the memories that were shown were ones that he spends time with her.
* In "A Face From The Past," Carter learns that Captain Mitchell was the one who rescued him from a fire when he was a kid. When approached about this, Mitchell pretty much says that Carter has more than paid him back for saving him with all of the rescues and firefighting he had done since that day.
* The development between Joel and Dr. Angela Fairweather as Joel became a more kind-hearted person. They even end up being one the few power rangers couples to actually become offical, with it being revealed in the ''{{TimeForce}}'' crossover they got married.
