Even a [[SadistShow show as sadistic as this one]] can have moments that make you go "Awwwww!"
----
* In a nice touch of dedication to their late creator, when Raimbaud's name appears during the opening, Oggy fondly waves at it and Jack salutes it.
* In "A Truce for Christmas", Oggy [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin (as the title implies)]] decides to have a truce with the Cockroaches during Christmas and all of them actually have a great time together. [[spoiler:Of course, their truce ends near the end of the episode after Oggy and Jack mistake the Cockroaches for stealing food again]].
* Oggy bonding with the cockroaches' redneck cousin in "Roachy Redneck". Bear in mind he's related to a TerribleTrio of delinquents who gleefully screw with Oggy at every opportunity, yet he proves to be the polar opposite, helping Oggy fix up his plantations and even beating up his own cousins when they begin sabotaging it and hurt Oggy's feelings.
* In "Brainchild", [[PetTheDog Oggy frees the Cockroaches from being experimented on by the child and even pats them on the head after releasing them]].
* "Tooth Good to be True": Joey's repeatedly failed, greed-fueled attempts to get money from [[ToothFairy the Little Mouse]] finally leave him toothless and breaking down in tears. Cue Marky and Dee Dee (who had so far spent the entire episode seemingly genuinely worrying about Joey's sanity) stepping up and paying a "house visit" to the mouse in question. And despite him in no way deserving it, the episode ends with Joey finally getting his coin.
* The ''entirety'' of "Ugly, Dirty and Good". Joey gets a head injury, regresses into a childlike mental state and becomes convinced Oggy is his father. The cat can't bring himself to hurt the now-harmless cockroach so he more-or-less adopts him. Throughout the episode, Marky and Dee Dee try to turn their buddy back into his old self while Joey and Oggy enjoy some father-son activities. [[spoiler:After he reverts to normal, Joey is seen endearingly staring at Oggy before he notices the other two roaches looking at him and smacks them.]]
** To highlight this heartwarming aspect, the Cartoon Network Hindi [[spoiler:voice-over]] of "the episode has Oggy saying to himself of ALL things, Joey becoming his [[spoiler:son]] is better than a birthday gift.
* In "Buddy Parrot", Dee Dee becomes obsessed with stealing feathers from the titular parrot in order to impersonate it and get fed by Oggy. After going through a ''lot'' of AmusingInjuries courtesy of the bird, he succeeds, and tries to fool Oggy into mistaking him for the parrot and giving him food. [[PaperThinDisguise Oggy doesn't buy it]], but still decides to play along and happily lets Dee Dee have some hard-earned food, much to the envy of Marky and Joey (who spent the entire episode making fun of Dee Dee everytime the parrot beat him up).
* In "For Real", both Oggy and Joey turn into a '''real''' cat and cockroach and, partway through, they work together to undo the transformations. And what's the first thing they do when they turn back to normal? [[PetTheDog They hug]]!
* "Journey to the Center of the Earth" has Joey and Oggy getting lost deep underground. When crossing a naturally-made bridge over a seemingly bottomless pit, Oggy slips and find himself hanging onto the edge of the bridge for dear life. Joey walks on and ignores his shouts at first, thinking he's just being dramatic because of the height, but then realizes he really is in trouble, goes back, actually grabs him by the finger, and manages to swing Oggy back onto the bridge proper. He even offers him his glove back, which had come off during the rescue. Heartwarming and extremely notable, considering that official profiles and at least one song in the show's album state that Joey hates Oggy.
* "Inspector Dee Dee" has Oggy and Marky bonding and having fun together after a burglary leaves the entire house empty, while Dee Dee decides to go after the thieves himself. [[spoiler:At the end of the episode, Dee Dee successfully retrieves Oggy's stolen possessions... Including his flyswatter, which Oggy immediately uses to squash Marky and Joey before going after Dee Dee. However, the cockroaches' reactions hint that it's all in good fun, and that everyone's happy that things are back to normal.]]
* Near the end of [[spoiler:"Oggy is Getting Married", Oggy proposes to Olivia and she happily accepts. The roaches steal the ring and Oggy and Jack literally tear the city apart to retrieve it. They succeed in doing so, then the scene cuts to Oggy's house, whose mailbox now has both Oggy and Olivia's names on it, where they're having a wedding party! The episode ends with the two newlyweds embracing each other.]]
* In "The Great Pyramid Mystery", Oggy and the Cockroaches form an actual friendship throughout the episode and unlike in previous episodes, this one actually sticks (at least, until next episode)!
* "Oggy's Teddy Bear" shows that Bob does indeed have a soft side. He has started collecting stuffed animals to sleep with at night and after realising that a childhood teddy bear that he no longer has and wants to buy back is a collector's item and therefore costs an absolute fortune, he bursts into tears. Not because he could have made a large sum of money from it, but because he genuinely wants it back.
** Furthermore, when he realises that the cockroaches put Oggy's one up for sale for a much lower price (20 of whatever currency the show uses) as a prank, he does a happy dance but stops in his tracks when he sees that Oggy is apparently selling it. Not out of hate for the cat, but because he thinks it will expose him as a big softy.
*** At the end of the episode, he ends up with it by pretending to be a collector and offering Oggy a cart of gold bars, a priceless painting and a limousine. Oggy pursues him and catches him having a tea party, as well as his massive collection of teddy bears. Oggy agrees to zip his lip about it, provided Bob give his bear back. At the closing part, [[PetTheDog Oggy feels bad for Bob because he can hear his thunderous crying from across the street, so he stuffs the cockroaches into his bear and sends them to Bob, content with sleeping with a hunk of wood.]]
