1	* Sonny's [[spoiler:reconciliation with his own father]].
2	-->'''Sonny:''' You can be scared that I might get pickpocketed in a bad neighborhood or break my legs skiing. But don't be scared about me being a dad, because I will not fail. I love this kid too much. I love him as much as you love me, Dad. I'm gonna give him advice and I'm gonna guide him and I'll be there whenever he needs me. I'll fly to New York to be at his court case even if I disagree with why he's there.
3	** Everybody gets so touched, they call their fathers right there.
4	* Sonny's friends Tommy and Phil. They were so close in law school they eventually realized they were gay and fell in love with each other. Best part, none of their friends treat it as out of the ordinary, which for a late nineties' comedy is an accomplishment. They even get a prolonged onscreen kiss, which is also an accomplishment for a PG-13 comedy.

6	'''Sonny:''' Nothing changed really. They watch a different kind of porno now, but that's about it.
7	* While a lot of Sonny's early interactions with Julian are weird to say the least, he is just as often genuinely sweet to the kid as he is goofy. Unlike other characters faced with a DoorstopBaby, he doesn't immediately try to get rid of him, and talks to him in a very friendly manner even if he doesn't quite know what to do. The biggest example would be that he makes up a pair of "invisibility shades" that lets Julian build confidence around strangers at his own pace AND gets others to play along with it for his sake. He does this a good while before he's decided he really does want to be his dad, too.
8	* The mutual dislike Sonny and Corinne had throughout the movie. Corinne didn't really see anything in Sonny worth respecting (which was a justifiable claim) and Sonny kept mocking her for her Hooters background. However, when Sonny was brought to court for custody of Julian, and more importantly, showed how much he truly loved the child, Corinne's opinion of him changed, as she even cheered for him. In the epilogue, they are now on friendlier terms, Corinne was at his surprise party, happy that her stepson has a great uncle, and even taking one of Sonny's Hooter remarks in stride now.
9	** Bonus with Corinne and Julian's relationship. When they first met, Corinne was nothing but kind to him, helping him with his rash. In the epilogue, Julian has no problem calling her his mom, showing that, even though he was her husband's forgotten secret, Corinne loved him as her own.
10	** When Kevin reveals his forgotten secret -- his drunken one-night stand with Julian's mother -- to everyone in the court, Sonny makes it very clear that it was before he met Corinne, clearing Kevin from any sort of infidelity. Corinne, for her part, forgives him, knowing that he had to do the right thing.
