* The short Intro skits that play when you start up ''Worms 2'' are fairly amusing.
** In one of them, a worm [[ThrowThePin messes up a grenade toss]], and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDZBWR1tc50 predictably blows himself up]].
** There is a sequence where a couple of worms fight over treasure, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5hxhgJAlEw where they produce increasingly excessive amounts of firepower]].
** A worm strikes the worst kind of jackpot while playing the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGkl-bQAybI slot machines]].
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PzAOGaNJW5A A match of table tennis]] escalates.
* The simulated physics for weapons, projectiles and the titular worms can result in quite a few HoistByTheirOwnPetard moments, but more particularly is when a player opts for ComplexityAddiction with some variety of weapons to try to kill one or even several worms at once -- only for everything to fall apart and potentially [[EpicFail only kill themselves]] with it, when the BoringButPractical solutions would've solved the problem in an instant.
* Try throwing a grenade towards a bundle of worms in ''Reloaded'' and they all start screaming. Not a continuous one, either, they just scream multiple times with a blank expression and in the most hilarious way ever.
* The fact that some of the most powerful weapons are... unorthodox to say the least. Exploding sheep, concrete donkeys, flying sheep, letter bombs, old women, [[RunningGag flaming sheep]], carpet bombs, [[OverlyLongGag swimming sheep]]. The more absurd the weapon is, the more damage it can do.
* ''Worms 4: Mayhem'' adds in some really funny AnimatedOuttakes. Some highlights include a worm refusing to get into a proper wizard costume, car prop trouble, a worm getting blown up in a mine, a worm's audition going badly, and some CameraAbuse in the Wild West.
* ''Ultimate Mayhem'' adds in some (this time real) HilariousOuttakes of its own with the amazing flubs of Guy Harris.
-->'''Narrator:''' Those crates may contain something… Useful. I nearly said awful, but I've no idea what's in them, so how would I know?\
'''Narrator:''' They wish to introduce you to defeat. [[{{Pun}} And the knees.]] And the hips. [[OverlyLongGag And the hands.]] And the head. And the elbows. And the face, and the eyes, and the nose. Right! \
'''Narrator:''' Bat Ali Balloon's... Boodibudoodoodedoodoons. Bat Ali Baboon's goons into the light. ''You try saying that!'' Bet Ali Baboon's goons into... What? No... Bat Ali Balloon's. Balloon's? Whose he?\
'''Narrator:''' (Toilet flush can be heard offscreen) Someone's havin' a dump, you can hear the flush… Bear with.
** Guy Harris' unfamiliarity with LeetLingo.
--->'''Narrator:''' Yes, we meant 'skillz' and not 'skills', cos we're... 33t. What? Because we're what? 33… I don't know what that means… [=L33T=] of course! With two threes instead of two E's!
** Adding to the hilarity are the bloopers being portrayed in-game with a worm in the recording booth representing Harris and the audio director and the technician getting annoyed but [[ActuallyPrettyFunny sometimes laughing as well]].
* When a worm dies, assuming they didn't do so of being thrown off the arena or falling into the pit, they [[MadeOfExplodium explode]]. The explosion causes damage. If they're surrounded by other low-health worms, this can result in [[DisasterDominoes multiple worms dying in a row]]. Even more hilarious is if the explosion propels a mine into another worm (or vice versa), or blows up a [[MadeOfExplodium supply crate]].
