* For most people, John Sergeant's paso doble.
* In series 8, Pamela's 'Firecracker moment'.
* In the same series, Katya Virshilas trying to get Gavin Henson to emote appropriately for the rumba by telling him "I'm thinking sexy thoughts." Gavin's response? "Good for you."
* Ann Widdicombe's Rumba was this for a lot of people.
* Craig's critique of Russell Grant's American Smooth (which really requires [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrbnhblfqsg the context]] to come across):
-->'''Craig''': ''Immortal'', darling.
* In newer episodes, whenever the voting opens, [[MundaneMadeAwesome everyone will celebrate with props and accessories (and sometimes full costumes)]] that appear to come completely out of nowhere. Craig will usually be sitting there [[TheComicallySerious with a completely deadpan expression]] whenever the camera focuses on him.
* Movie Week often results in at least one couple wearing the most ridiculous costumes. One notable example is from 2020 when Max George and his partner Dianne danced to the theme of ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons'' while dresssed as Homer and Marge respectively.
* During the Series 11 launch show, when introducing the five new professionals, Bruce is clearly having some difficulties pronouncing most of their names, proclaiming "...and thank god, an easy one" when he gets to Kevin Clifton.
** Similarly, during the second live show of the first week of competition of Series 10, when introducing Jerry & Anton, he struggles with the pronounciation of the word "penultimate", eventually settling on "our last couple but one" instead.
--->''[Audience laughs]''\
'''Bruce:''' Shut up.\
''[Audience laughs harder]''
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HH6ha5vXwBE Dave Myers' cha-cha-cha]].
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crv-0jHOcX4 Mark Benton's cha-cha]] arguably tops it.
* Bruno Tonioli falling off his chair. Happens again in Series 13.
** And to make it even better, in the 2017 series Bruno is away for one episode, leaving only three judges and a maximum score of 30. Craig decides to ensure Bruno is there with them in spirit by ''hysterically screaming gibberish praise in a ridiculous faux-Italian accent.'' And ''then he falls off his chair too.''
* Mark Ramprakash managing to get Karen's microphone wire wrapped around himself 10 seconds into the dance, necessitating a do-over. Turns into an SugarWiki/AwesomeMoment when they utterly ''nail'' the do-over.
-->'''Bruno''': You turned a meltdown into a ''triumph!''
* Debbie [=McGee=] does a Tango to ''I Gotta Feeling''. Craig's reaction when he's asked to say something as a judge is to get up and ''bow'' at her feet. When he (and the other four judges), give her a ten ''each'', Darcy's reaction is to grin and tap his shoulder as if saying "well done".
* Week Eleven of the 2017 series: Alexandra Burke and her partner, Gorka, dance to Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious - in the dark, in the background, we can briefly see Shirley and Bruno ''dancing along like crazy mad people'' in time with her and both are having the absolute time of their lives (If you desire to see it, it's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4Uf0F1043c here at 1:23]]). They continue this dancing ''throughout the judges comments.''
* The fans have nicknamed The Auditorium as the Clauditorium as Claudia is ''always'' up there.
* Another one from the 2017 series: following Mollie King and AJ Pritchard's Quickstep to The Baseballs' version of "[[{{Music/Rihanna}} Umbrella]]" being awarded a 9 from Bruno, everyone in the Clauditorium starts [[ShipperOnDeck clapping and chanting for the pair to kiss]], which leaves them visibly flustered.
-->'''Claudia:''' They're all shouting "kiss"... We'd all like it, but... Okay, we'll wait 'til the wrap.
** And then one week later, after the pair was saved from elimination during Musicals Week...
--->'''AJ:''' ''[to Mollie]'' You're willing to train, for over 300 hours!\
'''Claudia:''' Very good, and only half of that time is spent kissing. I'm joking.\
''[Mollie starts laughing as the audience and the other contestants in the Clauditorium reacts in amusement]''\
'''AJ:''' Ohhhhh!\
'''Claudia:''' I'm joking! ''I'm joking!''\
'''Gemma''' and '''Aljaz:''' Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!
* The following conversation occurs in the 2017 Christmas Special after Jeremy Vines dances and the judges are giving their scores - it involves Craig, a changing of scores and Darcy ''looking like she is going to kill someone''.
-->'''Craig:''' Two\
'''Darcy:''' ''(dropping all composure and '''literally vaulting to her feet''')'': ''OH!''\
'''Craig:''' ''(Craig stares up at her in shock as she literally shoves him.)'' Darcy!\
'''Darcy:''' GOD SHAME THAT! You can't say that! It's Christmas!\
'''Craig:''' Oh, sit down, darling.\
'''Darcy:''' ''('''literally''' shrieking)'' '''''IT'S CHRISTMAS!'''''\
'''Craig:''' ''(As Darcy sits down, rather angrily)''. Oh, alright, hang on. ''(He rummages through his numbers and changes it to a...)'' Seven. It's Christmas.
* During the 2018 launch show, shortly after finding out she's been paired with AJ, Lauren Steadman is so pleased with the outcome that she throws herself into his arms... catching him completely off-guard and causing him to just barely catch her on the nick of time before she hit the ground.
-->'''AJ:''' ''[to Tess]'' She went for it, 100%!
-->'''Tess:''' She went for it, she threw herself into that!
* Speaking of Lauren & AJ (and Mollie), during [[https://youtu.be/mqU1MbgNGUM?t=349 one of their interviews]] on spin-off show ''It Takes Two'', when talking about their Jive to Music/AvrilLavigne's "Girlfriend", AJ reveals that he's never had a girlfriend, prompting Zoe Ball to ask him about Mollie. This reduces him to a stammering flustered mess, complete with a hint of LuminescentBlush, which would've been more obvious if it wasn't for the [[ItMakesSenseInContext vampire make-up he had on at the time]].
* In the 2017 Semi Final, Darcy and Bruno spend the entire episode trying to one-up one another on ridiculousness. Darcy declares that if Alexandra and Gorka don't make it into the finale, she will ''"get into [Bruno's] speedos"''. Then Debbie and Giovanni dance and Bruno declares ''"if you don't make it to the final next week, I will judge with [Darcy's] Tutu, no knickers and a tiara! Top '''that''', Darcy!"'' By the end, both are ''cracking up with laughter'' and Shirley is giggling like a hyena - specifically it was the "tiara" addition to the end of Bruno's that set her off.
* One 2018 episode takes place on Kevin's birthday so the cast bring him a cake to celebrate. When he and Stacey Dooley surpass the score of 30 they were aiming for, he ''repeatedly smashes his head into it in excitement.''
* In series 21, Krishnan Guru-Murthy mentioned how his son Jay [[AmazinglyEmbarrassingParents was embarrassed]] about the fact that his father was on ''Strictly''. However, in the third week he seemed to have changed his mind and started attending the live show as part of the audience each week while Krishnan was still in. This led to Claudia and the others trying to embarrass him about it in increasingly hilarious ways:
** After Krishnan danced in week 4, those who were in the Clauditorium held a sign saying "WELCOME JAY".
** In week 5, Claudia put on a T-shirt that said "HELLO JAY".
** Week 6 had those in the Clauditorium being given masks of Jay's face. This was followed by a cut to Jay in the audience, who turned out to be wearing a T-Shirt that said "HELLO CLAUDIA".
** For week 7, they held up a large banner that said "GOOD EVENING JAY".
** Week 8 featured a cardboard cutout of Jay. Sadly, since Krishnan was eliminated that week, the joke did not continue.
* During one of the "What's the answer dancer?" segments on ''It Takes Two'' in 2023, one of the questions was "Backstage, Gorka always [[ThatCameOutWrong has his [x] out]]." Cue laughter from some of the other pros. A few of the female pros also thought that [[FemaleGaze it was his abs]] (for the record, the answer was camera).
