1	Let’s face it; this show has a ''lot'' of funny moments throughout
2	* In "Rhymes with "Gato"", when Maya and Miguel end up having to hide the presence of a lost duck from the landlord ([[ItsALongStory how they wound up with said duck is a long story]]), the duck's quacking is at first mistaken for Miguel passing gas (which naturally results in a LuminescentBlush) and is then covered up by Miguel claiming that he and Maya like to play a game called "Hide and Quack". When the confused adults leave, Maya gives her brother a FascinatingEyebrow as she asks "Hide and Quack?", to which he claims to have panicked. When the quacking is joined by meowing from Chrissy's new cat (who is part of the aforementioned long story), Miguel sheepishly asks if the adults will believe that they also like to play "Pin the Tail on the Cat", prompting a YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe look from Maya.
3	* In "I Got to be Mi-guel", Maya is constantly annoyed by Miguel getting over his head that he's the coolest guy around.

9	* In "The Autograph", Maya and Miguel chasing a baseball player while wearing a moose costume. Guess what animal the baseball player doesn't seem to like?

12	* In "The Bet", Maya shutting her mouth so she wouldn't "meddle" by helping Miguel answer a question for him in class.
13	* In "The Big Fight", Maya tries to get Miguel and Theo to talk to each other by tricking them into coming to the same place. But it always ends with disaster, which Miguel and Theo [[BlameGame blame each other]] for it. Maya becomes frustrated at how worse it's getting.
14	* Any time Miguel tries (and ultimately fails) to talk Maya out of whatever she's planning. He knows exactly what will happen and [[ThisIsGonnaSuck he isn't looking forward to it one bit]].
15	* Maya breaks a sugar skull of her grandmother's and is distraught over it. Not funny. Andy and Theo tell her stories about how her grandmother will be heartbroken/furious, which is sad, but then both cap it off with a meteor hitting. Then Miguel tells her that their Abuela will probably be upset, but will forgive her, which is very sweet...and then ''he as well'' finishes the story with a meteor randomly hitting earth.
16	* When Maya and Miguel compete for the leads in a reality show about twins, their competition is a pair of SingleMindedTwins that apparently no one can tell apart so Maya and Miguel decide that they need to act like they share all interests with each other. This leads to them having to wear RummageSaleReject combinations of each other's outfits and combining features of their rooms together. This leads to a brief game of MiseryPoker where Miguel responds to Maya complaining about having to have his smelly sneakers in her room by pointing out he has to have glittery blueberry-scented stickers in his; Chrissy pipes up "And flowers for throw pillows!" and he worriedly asks what throw pillows are.
