Aiichirou gleefully embraces it, while Momotarou's completely frustrated and embarrassed having to wear the outfit, and Rin outright forces Haruka and the others not to come since that'll give them the hint that he had to do the same the previous year.
100	** Nagisa playfully lifts Momo's dress, awkwardly exposing his speedo, which he only wears because he's not about to wear panties. Rei freaks out, shouting "It's not beautiful".
101	* Haruka's nervous reaction to the ''Saba'' games. The joke here is that saba (when used in katakana) is a short form of the English word "survival", but the term, when used normally, also means mackerel, Haru's TrademarkFavoriteFood. This was LostInTranslation in the English dub.
102	* Aiichirou begins panicking and proceeds to aimlessly shoot his teammates Rin and Rei, who begin avoiding with very exaggerated and fast-paced movement and poses.
103	* "Negotiator Rei" returns in an attempt to bribe Momotarou into surrendering by offering pictures of Gou. Ai believes that Momo would never fall for it and is in great disbelief when he is proven wrong.
104	* Kisumi being used as a human shield by Sousuke, who was nearly trapped by Makoto. The next scene has Rin getting spooked by Kisumi's sudden appearance and ends with Haru shooting at Kisumi, presumably on purpose.
105	* Rei devises a booby trap that will shoot multiple squirt guns at one of his opponents if the get caught in a ''very'' thin line. Sousuke easily sees through his plan and manages to [[HoistByHIsOwnPetard nearly trap Rei in it]]. Rei, who then proceeds to [[AwesomenessByAnalysis calculate Sousuke's potential movements and prepares to strike]] only the find the Sousuke's disappeared.
106	* Momotarou finally meets up with Gou, who for once actually remembers his name which drives him to InelegantBlubbering [[TearsOfJoy of joy]]. Aiichirou sneaks up on him and tries to shoot him, only to miss and hit Gou. Momo, who's still shaken up from earlier, gets shot by Ai and falls to the ground while smiling.
107	** Immediately following is Sousuke's TranquilFury towards Ai after the latter accidently shoots Gou. Ai gets hit and lies on the ground with Momo.
108	* Quite possibly the highlight of the episode is Rei's over the top "death" scene and [[ChewingTheScenery Rin's reaction to it]], simply because it had to be ''beautiful'', just as Rei would want it.
109	* The serious standoff between Haruka and Makoto is cut short by Makoto getting abruptly shot by Nagisa, who’s in cute screwball mode. Rei declares the success of his plan, only for Ai and Momo to point out that there was no way he knew that would happen.

Momo finds out that Rin has a rare [[BlandNameProduct Lucky Meal]] toy, which he acquired a few segments back and [[OneDialogueTwoConversations challenges Rin for it, with Rin thinking he wants to ask for Gou's hand in marriage]]. [[OutOfContextEavesdropping The rest of the team, as well as Seijuurou, get caught up in the misconception]], which forces Seijuurou to team up with Momo, only for Aiichirou to get wind of it and report it to Rin, who just happened to be with Nagisa and Rei at the time. Rin realizes he could lose to them and would not be able to go back to Australia with a clear conscience. Panicking, Nagisa calls Makoto to have Haru team up with Rin in his match, [[PoorCommunicationKills but Makoto didn't get the message clearly]] and believes that Rin just wants a match with Haru and will give up swimming if he doesn't win. With Haru frustrated and Makoto and Gou panicking, Haru has to talk things out with Rin which eventually reveals the truth.

He then proceeds to give out some ''strong'' words of advice to the newcomers, ending with a declaration of how much he loves them all and the three becoming embarrassed.
151	** The next day, the team takes his advice and become more motivated than ever while he's clueless to what's happened. All it takes is for Nagisa to show him the photos that he took, and Rei becomes confused, flustered, and embarrassed himself.

In response, Ikuya reveals he has some of Rin's embarrassing photos from the time when he had to participate in a maid cafe in Samezuka academy. Rin unsuccessfully tries to have him delete the photo, then pulls out his trump card: Natsuya, Ikuya's older brother, often drunkenly sends Ikuya's embarrassing photos to Rin, which he too has kept. [[HypocriticalHumor Ikuya angrily asks Rin to delete the photos]] and this eventually devolves into a pissing contest between the two.
159	* When the main characters arrive in the hotel, Rin turns to Haru and suggests they should check out the pool, only to find that Haru pulled a StealthHiBye and the person he was talking to was Ikuya. Ikuya nonchalantly ignores Rin's baffled expression and agrees to accompany him, telling him to wait for him.
160	* Rin and Sousuke visit Nitori and Momotaro's dorm room, where Momotaro declares that he will beat Nitori to become the Samezuka team's next captain after he graduates. Seijuro, [[StealthHiBye out of nowhere appears]] behind Rin and Sousuke and declares, startling everyone in the process, that he is proud of his little brother's drive and then challenges him to race with him, much to his displeasure. Seijuro may have graduated but he'll still subject his siblings to his TrainingFromHell methods no matter what.

He then [[SuspiciouslySpecificDenial says he is not lost or anything]]. Ikuya realises [[NoSenseOfDirection Sousuke]] really ''is'' lost.
