Because sometimes battles can turn unexpectedly hilarious.

* Faruq’s intros are so puntastic they’re this and awesome.
* Hypershock's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNk5-3fGNqI legendary rake]] from ABC Season 2.
* Red Devil vs. Valkyrie in Discovery Season 1. Valkyrie rips one of Red Devil's treads off entirely... and the tread keeps driving around for another minute before getting stuck on its side. The announcers immediately nicknamed it Li'l Devil.
* The very next episode featured Warhead vs. Warrior Dragon in what may be one of the most hilarious bouts in robot combat. A very early hit disabled Warrior Dragon's horizontal spinner but Warhead, with their own spinner cranked up to a high power setting, skipped over Warrior Dragon and ran into a wall, disabling one of Warhead's arms, breaking the other, and ''breaking its disc in half.'' But since half of the disc stayed attached to Warhead, every time it tried to spin up the bot rattled and bounced like a washing machine full of rocks as it attempted to chase a scared and confused Warrior Dragon around the arena while spewing flames from its limp flamethrower arm and malfunctioning like crazy for the ''entire three-minute fight.''
** Wound up becoming unintentional {{Foreshadowing}} of what happens when a spinner's weapon breaks unevenly. [[spoiler: Tombstone had the same problem against Rotator in Discovery Season 2 and it nearly destroyed the bot]].
* Faruq's introduction of Tantrum entered maximum LargeHam territory when he wailed and danced around the floor as a LiteralMetaphor.
* Speaking of Tantrum, its bout against Fusion in the 2020 tournament may win the award for the most unintentionally goofy end to a fight. After both bots spent most of the fight evenly-matched and taking out each other's weapons, Fusion suddenly charged at Tantrum and ended up stuck on top of its opponent. Not only that, but its internals ''burst into flames out of nowhere'', essentially K.O.ing it right then and there. This led to the hilarious image of Fusion being counted out as a confused Tantrum frantically drove around the arena with Fusion balanced on top of it like a flaming hat.
* The battle between HUGE and Mammoth in Discovery Season 3 [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2TaX7s3RS4 has to be seen to be believed]]. Even the commentators are in utter disbelief at Mammoth, a 6'4" 250lb robot, repeatedly doing ''flips.''
* In Riptide’s fight against Defender during Discovery Season 4, the former wound up upside down and tried to self right by ramming the weapon into the wall, however they underestimated the weapon’s raw power, and Riptide wound up launching itself ''15 feet in the air'' before slamming back down onto the Upper Deck.
* Season 4 sees Deep Six vs SMEEEEEEEEEE. And what an Embarrassing fight it is. First off, Deep Six’s weapon is too high for their opponent. So SMEEEEEEEEEEEE manages to dodge it and knock one of Deep Six’s wheels off and push it into one of the saw traps where it’s promptly stuck in the crevice. So now we have the bot just awkwardly stuck until the ref has no choice but to start the countdown. To add insult to injury, SMEEEEEEEEE pushes Deep Six further into the crevice all while the weapon on DS is still spinning.
* Reese Ewert's post-fight interview after Fusion's loss to Minotaur in World Championship VII was full of jokes and SelfDeprecatingHumor about Fusion's tendency to dominate fights until it randomly breaks down, often by [[MadeOfIncendium bursting into flames for no apparent reason]].
--> '''Reese''': "I was winning for the first five seconds."
* The postgame segment following the Round of 32's completion where Martin Mason revealed their new bot attachment for fighting HUGE. After comparing HUGE to a certain [[Literature/MobyDick great white whale]] and explaining the need for a harpoon he revealed the name of this attachment, the [[AccidentalInnuendo HUGE-Poon]]. Chris and Kenny caught the accidental DoubleEntendre immediately and ran with it, leading to a chain of bawdy jokes that culminated in a picture of [=MaDCatTer=] with a CensorBox over it.
* Warhead lighting the cake on fire in the opening for Discovery season 1 episode 12 is funny, but also weirdly adorable.
