* When Kirk gave the 'full retard' speech, a lot of people complained about his blatant use of the word 'retard'. However, at the time, Kirk was acting as Lincoln Osiris, who lived in 1969. [[ValuesDissonance A guy in 1969 wouldn't think anything of saying the word 'retard']]. Kirk was simply talking like a guy who lives in 1969. He wasn't trying to be insulting, he was in-character.
* Les Grossman's name seems to just be a pun on the phrase "Gross Man" (i.e., a disgusting person), but there's an extra meaning in his name. As a Hollywood exec, he doesn't care about anything other than how well a film does at the box office, or its gross.
* Les Grossman asking the Key Grip to hit Damien seems random. But when you look into filming, one of the Key Grip's jobs is lifting heavy objects. So Grossman wanted the strongest guy to hit Cockburn.
* Four-Leaf Tayback's inability to correctly identify a rifle by the sound it makes when it discharges is a dead giveaway that he is a fraud. Any soldier who has been in combat should be able to tell you ''exactly'' what kind of rifle made what kind of sound, because their life would depend on them knowing, this is combined with not knowing what his own sidearm is called. He also has a number of military patches on his jacket and hat that don't go together.
* After Alpa accidentally outs himself as a closet gay to the others, Kirk tells him "Everyone's gay once in a while; this is Hollywood!" Considering Lazarus is known for his extreme MethodActing and one of his other roles brought up involve playing a homosexual monk in an Irish monastery, he ''would'' be best fit out of anybody in the group to tell Alpa such.
* As blatantly obvious as the faux trailer for ''Scorcher VI: Global Meltdown'' was in showing how Tugg's career was tied to the ''Scorcher'' franchise, it provided a subtler and very brilliant hint at how his career was going down the drain: its release date being in the winter. Big-budget action films like ''Scorcher'' are always released in the summer, when audiences are likely going to be larger, while the winter months (otherwise known as "DumpMonths") are reserved for films that studios know won't make as much money. Tugg's career has spiraled downward to the point where the studio, lacking a lot of faith in ''Scorcher VI'''s ability to make money despite Tugg being in the lead role, chose to dump it in the winter.
** The name "Meltdown" is a subtle swipe at Tugg's career having, ''you know'', melted down to nothing.
* Alpa having to hide in the closet makes a sad amount of sense: the hip-hop industry has historically been infamous for its homophobia. Considering his age, Alpa would've entered the hip-hop industry when it was still not very welcoming toward the LGBTQ community.
* Kevin being the most well-adjusted actor on set make a lot of sense: each of his costars is a walking representation of Hollywood washouts:
** Tugg represents a once-beloved action star whose fame has faded as he enters middle age and is struggling to adapt to new genres.
** Kirk is the incredibly talented method actor who obsesses over maintaining his role at the expense of his own mental health.
** Jeff is a drug-addicted comedian who suffers from severe self-esteem issues.
** Alpa, while not as bad as the above three, is also a bit arrogant and hiding in the closet.
** Kevin, who just began his Hollywood career with a minor role, has yet to endure the stresses and pains that come from living in Hollywood.
* Jeff's drug addiction and apparent insecurities are unfortunately common among many comedians. His being declared "uninsurable" is something that has happened to other comedians. Creator/RichardPryor, another famous comedian who struggled with drug habits, helped co-write ''Film/BlazingSaddles'' but wasn't allowed on set because his reckless lifestyle made him uninsurable.

* While Cockburn's death is meant to be gruesomely hilarious, imagine how any family and friends might react when they learn he was killed.
* While the crew got away primarily intact, the drug smugglers are still alive and ''pissed'' over how these actors trashed their operations. Tugg and his fellow actors may spend the rest of their lives fearing retaliation from a ruthless drug gang.
