* Why did Link get imprisoned in the mirror? He didn't have the '''courage''' to face Ganon by himself! Because Harkinian took the Triforce of '''courage'''.
* The Triforce of wisdom said the King would safely return. Nothing was said about "when" or "with whom".
* Eating an Octorok wouldn't really be that bad. If you think of it, Octoroks are just Hyrule version of octopuses, and octopus is a delicacy in some countries.
** Many years later, in ''[[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaBreathOfTheWild Breath of the Wild]]'', you can attempt to cook an Octorok yourself. [[LethalChef It won't end well,]] as monster parts are better for making potions than for cooking. Going by this, Link really would have to be starving to try and eat one.
* Only Link can defeat Ganon... Except Gwonam was talking about ''the Island of Koridai''. It wasn't said that Zelda couldn't go defeat him in Tolemac or in Gamelon.
* Gibdo is defeated by a Magic Shroud because the dead are traditionally wrapped in a shroud in several cultures to keep their bodies safe from the elements until their burial. Gibdo, being a mummy who has already freed himself from his gauze, is thus forced to accept that he is dead and has no business in the world of the living.
* King Harkinian sentencing the traitorous Duke Onkled to "scrubbing all the floors in Hyrule" seems like CoolAndUnusualPunishment at best...until you consider that Hyrule is also home to many dungeons full of deadly creatures, and Onkled would have to scrub the floors of those dungeons. In other words, it's a death sentence in disguise!
** Or he could have just meant the homes of all the citizens in Hyrule, which is still embarrassing and grueling for someone who is a duke.
** Or the writer thought "Hyrule" only referred to the castle and not to the kingdom itself. At least, that is what the German translation went with.
* Zelda's LackOfEmpathy after killing Hektan was a result of TranquilFury: she had just learned that her father had been kidnapped, and that Hektan and Duke Onkled aided Ganon in his kidnapping. While previous bosses were just ThresholdGuardians for Zelda to overcome in her quest to rescue King Harkinian, [[ItsPersonal it became personal]] for her once she confronted the people directly responsible for his disappearance.
* Why are the citizens of Gamelon so rude to Zelda sometimes and they don't make any discounts for her, even though she is a princess? Because Gamelon's Duke, Onkled, is not an ally to the royal family.
* In Zelda's Adventure, Ganon summons a BossRush at the end. Malmord, however, takes only one hit before dispersing into enemies that all drop hearts when defeated. Perhaps, she had seen Zelda's destiny was to defeat Ganon - and thus, intentionally vanished to help her fulfill said destiny.

[[AC:FridgeHorror]]
* Why does the General Store guy act so suspicious? When you don't have enough rubies, he says, "You'll have to wipe out a few more Goriyas to get that." Considering that in ''Faces of Evil'' every Goriya WasOnceAMan, this may mean that the shopkeeper is aware of it and still encourages Zelda to kill the transformed citizens for their money.
* Those metallic, robot-like soldiers with the spears that appear in several levels? One cutscene shows that they're ordinary (possibly innocent) people being transformed into enemies, likely against their will, and [[BrainwashedAndCrazy brainwashed]] into killing Link. Or perhaps [[AndIMustScream they're mentally aware of what they're being forced to do, but helpless to stop themselves]]. Keep in mind, these are just run-of-the-mill baddies that as Link and Zelda you're killing off on a regular basis.
