* FridgeBrilliance: Why was Snoopy kicked off the bus? [[WesternAnimation/ABoyNamedCharlieBrown Snoopy irritated the bus drivers so much with his jaw harp that they filed a notion to enforce a "No Dogs Allowed" policy]].
** That's an odd reason to ban dogs from a bus. If it was the jaw harp that annoyed the drivers so much, why not just make a rule not allowing loud musical instruments? The "no dogs" policy doesn't really solve ''that'' problem. It's not like a human couldn't make irritating music, even if dogs are not allowed. And many dogs don't even use instruments like that.
* FridgeBrilliance: The psychedelic dream sequence (set to a haunting instrumental version of "Do You Remember Me?", also known as "Lila's Theme") may come off as a [[BigLippedAlligatorMoment Big Lipped Alligator Moment]] at first. (Or an excuse for the animators to show off.) But notice how Snoopy's dream-self just keeps walking and searching, walking and searching, even pausing to look confused and lost at one point...and never arriving anywhere. The dream ends with Snoopy and Woodstock's transparent dream-selves still walking. And you realize (especially when watching it as an adult with some idea of how dreams work) that Snoopy's dream represents his feelings of missing something he's lost...his puppyhood days with Lila. But the dream's never resolved...his subconscious self realizes (even if his conscious self doesn't yet) that he can never have that back, because it's in the past and he is no longer that puppy. It ties in very well with the movie's themes of loss and yearning.
* FridgeBrilliance: Furthermore the whole backstory Snoopy has with Lila makes so much sense for how his character is. Lila having to send Snoopy back clearly effected him so emotionally In Snoopy Come Home along with the strip, that Snoopy could be purposely trying to be more aloof/apathetic with Charlie Brown because his heart got broken with Lila.
** And in Snoopy's Reunion, when he was adopted by Lila, he seemed like a completely normal dog other, even loving to play fetch. While in the strip and cartoons Snoopy has shown distain towards playing fetch and obeying dog orders, being anything but a normal dog with Charlie Brown. In that special it was also said she had to send him back because no dogs were allowed in the building. Snoopy could have internalized all this, and not wanting to play/act like a normal dog anymore. The are even older strips where Snoopy shows insecurity and downright loathings of being a dog, wishing to be someone else, strengthening this.
* FridgeHorror: Clara says she has two new pets to add to her "collection", but Snoopy and Woodstock are the only animals in the house. ''She even has a birdcage already.'' [[NightmareFuel Brrrrrrrr]].
** Well, there ''is'' a fishbowl--complete with a fish--in the last scene, but it can easily be assumed that she's been guilty of AndCallHimGeorge antics before, with disastrous consequences.
