The dragons are a good example; they kidnap princesses, yeah, but none of the princesses we see in that situation really have it all that bad. It's likely that the whole "ravaging the village" consists less of RapePillageAndBurn and more "go grab the princess and maybe kick over a few haystacks on your way through". |
