One day, while picking up more product from Hi (Ben Gurand), Gingy is approached by a dying scientist who gives him a large green bud. After Gingy leaves, he finds the bud is alive. Naming it Buddy, he takes it home to Barbara. However, it turns out evil forces are after Buddy.
