Montmorency rips him a new one over trying to prevent or delay their marriage in such a roundabout way rather than simply talk to her about it.

Saito gives Agnes a sword that she can only draw if given verbal permission from Henrietta or if she genuinely believes Henrietta's life would be in danger if she didn't.
