Created by Ryuranger of [[http://www.rangerboard.com Rangerboard]], Ultimate Power Rangers is a massive UltimateUniverse designed to take the best aspects of both Franchise/PowerRangers and Franchise/SuperSentai and combine them into the [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin "ultimate universe."]] Currently hosted on Ryuranger's personal website, [[http://www.ryuranger.com Ryuranger.com]], the series spans two series over the course of nearly two decades, following various Rangers, Riders and other heroes as they battle various evil aliens, demons, time-travellers, sorcerers and normal humans for the safety of Earth, the universe, and eventually time and existence itself.

Consists of the following stories:
* Volume One
** Year One: Featuring the [[Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers original Power Rangers]] and Series/KamenRiderBlack
** Year Two: Featuring a [[Series/GoseiSentaiDairanger reformed Power Rangers team]], the [[Series/NinjaSentaiKakuranger Ninja Rangers,]] and Series/KamenRiderKuuga, as well as introducing Series/KamenRiderRyuki.
** Year Three: Featuring the return of the Power Rangers, who now team-up with the Ninja Rangers to battle the evil Lord Zedd, and the [[Series/SeijuuSentaiGingaman Galaxy Rangers.]] Also brings Kamen Rider Ryuki to Earth, as well as introducing the Series/{{Beetleborgs}} and the Hayate Way ninja academy.
** Year Four: Tommy forms the [[Series/PowerRangersZeo Zeo Rangers]] to fight the Machine Empire after the other Rangers are wounded or captured, while the [[Series/GekisouSentaiCarranger Turbo Rangers]] are assembled to combat the Borzock Clan, and a young boy becomes [[Series/VRTroopers Cybertron]] to battle Grimlord.
** Year Five: The [[Series/PowerRangersInSpace Rangers leave Earth]] and head [[RecycledInSpace into space]] to join a galactic battle against the forces of Sauron, while on Earth the new guardians [[Series/JikuuSenshiSpielban Nova Troopers]] and [[Series/DenkouChoujinGridman SHOC]] combat Sauron's advance agents. It all comes to a head in the Countdown to Destruction, when all the Rangers, Riders, and their allies have to battle Sauron's forces for the fate of the galaxy. In the aftermath, the Rangers slip into an [[MirrorUniverse alternate reality where evil has won.]] Later still, Tommy experiences a dream-vision where he takes control of a young boy named [[Series/BakuryuuSentaiAbaranger Asuka]] on the twin-dimension of Dino Earth.
** Year Six: [[Series/PowerRangersTimeForce Time Force]] arrives from the past to stop a time-traveling group of mutant mafia, while the Rangers must stop the [[Comicbook/XMen Hellfire Club]] from using Kimberly to control the Power Cosmic, an energy older than time itself.
** Year Seven: The [[Series/PowerRangersWildForce Gao Rangers,]] led by long-time friend of the Rangers Simon Kaden, fight off the vile Orgs, while Billy creates his first Earth-based Ranger team, [[Series/PowerRangersLightspeedRescue Lightspeed Rescue,]] to combat the forces of Queen Bansheera's demon horde.
** [[UltimateShowdownOfUltimateDestiny Champions Saga]]: All of the Rangers, Riders and other assorted heroes have to come together, first as various villainous groups from across the galaxy and dimensions converge on Earth. Things getting taken up to eleven as an immensely powerful demonic entity known as the Mogralord arrives and proceeds to curb-stomp most of the Rangers.
* Volume Two (Next Generation)
** Year One: Tommy calls together the first team of Rangers, the [[Series/PowerRangersNinjaStorm Hurricane Rangers,]] after the second Countdown to Destruction to fight Lothor, an Eltarian mage with a vendetta against Tommy. The team soon has to battle the vengeance-driven Thunder Rangers, who eventually join the team, and they are also aided by the Shurikenger. Billy, meanwhile, activates his second Ranger team, [[Series/ChoujinSentaiJetman J-Force,]] with devastating results, drawing the Vyram to Earth.
** Year Two: Featuring the return of the Power Rangers on a world-traveling search for answers, plot threads run wild as a dozen new threats arise and numerous old and new characters appear, including Series/KamenRiderKiva, all as the Rangers try to discover the secrets behind Simon's parents. Meanwhile, Billy's teams begin to grow in number as he brings [[Series/PowerRangersSPD Space Patrol Delta]] online to battle the growing alliance of alien criminals in Angel Grove, as well as introducing Series/KamenRiderBlade, Series/KamenRiderKabuto, and the Series/TomicaHeroRescueForce
** Year Three: Picking up right where Year Two left off, Tommy has to create [[Series/PowerRangersSamurai the Samurai Rangers]] to compensate for the Power Rangers falling apart, with his younger brother Teddy leading the new team against the Gedoushou and the Vorlocks ([[CanonWelding villains from]] Series/HikariSentaiMaskman). Things escalate quickly as Simon is forced to confront his demonic heritage, the other Hurricane Rangers fight with Kiva against the Fangaira threat, Kamen Rider Blade and his allies fend off the Undead threat, [[Series/KamenRiderWizard Kamen Riders Wizard and Leo]] deal with the Phantom Demons spawned by last year's Black Sabbath, and Billy uses [[Series/ChoujuuSentaiLiveman the Bio-Beast Rangers]] to fight off his dark counterpart's VOLT. It all comes to a head with numerous finales that end with the beginnings of a Ranger Civil War.
** Year Four: After a bit of rearranging to the plans, the series starts back into a new phase, dealing with the rise of even more new threats while trying to deal with the return of old foes and dangling threads. Starring the [[Series/PowerRangersJungleFury the Jungle Fury Rangers]] that Tommy has left in Adam's hands after he and his Rangers went on the run, they try and aid the half-demon Shaded while fighting the [=RinJuken=]. On the flip side, Max mentors the [[Series/PowerRangersOperationOverdrive Titan Rangers]] to try and keep an eye on Billy's INET operations and keep Precious out of evil hands
** Year Five: Planned to feature [[Series/PowerRangersRPM the RPM Rangers]] and [[Series/PowerRangersMysticForce the Mystic Rangers]]
** Year Six: Planned to feature [[Series/TensouSentaiGoseiger the Gosei Rangers]] and [[Series/TokumeiSentaiGobusters the Go-Busters]]
** Year Seven: Planned to feature [[Series/PowerRangersDinoThunder the Dino Thunder Rangers]] and [[Series/ZyudenSentaiKyoryuger the Kyoryugers]].

'''Examples:'''

* AbortedArc: In Year Three of Volume 1, Akuma's body is never present while Lord Zedd is alive. According to WordOfGod, this is because the initial plan was that Akuma would be Zedd's host body, a plan that was quickly dropped
* ActionGirl: Pretty much every single female Ranger in the series, and most of the side females as well. The ones that stand out the most are Trini of the Ninja Rangers and Jenn of Time Force.
* AdaptationDistillation / AdaptationExpansion
* AliensSpeakingEnglish
* AllAccordingToPlan: Basically the whole idea behind [[spoiler: Akuma: he's been manipulating Tommy since before he was born, and now he's trying to manipulate both Tommy ''and'' Simon.]] In Next Generation, however, with reality itself unraveling, things are not going quite as well as planned.
* AllMythsAreTrue: Not exactly, but a lot of old myths and legends have basis in truth, including the fact that most gods and goddesses actually do exist. Unfortunately for humanity, [[TheChessmaster the gods and other powerful forces]] are just [[UnwittingPawn using mankind for their own wicked games]].
* AllYourPowersCombined: The Master/Warlock in the Champions Saga – all the energies of the BigBad villains that the various Ranger teams have defeated in the past become merged into one creature.
* ApocalypseHow: All of Angel Grove and the surrounding area, as well as the rest of the world to some extent, is experiencing a Class 1 after the Champions Saga. However, many species and planets experience anywhere from Class 3 to Class 5 during the galactic war in the In Space arc. Additionally, [[spoiler:Akuma's]] goal regarding the Dragon is to bring about a Class 6 and start everything over.
* ArcWelding: Happens a lot, particularly in Year Three of the first generation (Shadows of Evil) and Year Two of the Next Generation (Ultimate Origins), where multiple villain groups and several story arcs that explain the background begin to pull everything together.
* ArtisticLicenseReligion: Heaven and Hell are something of alternate dimensions, something of places for reward and punishment, but dark sorcerers know how to store and retrieve someone from either realm, while others can spirit journey (and in the case of Hell, physically journey) to either location. There's also no exact knowledge on how this ties in with the Astral Plane.
* AscendedExtra: Trini in Ninja Rangers; Simon in Gao, and even more so in Next Generation; Teddy as Samurai Red
* AscendedFanboy: Not per se, but Kamen Rider Blade is a large fan of the Power Rangers, and doesn't like Billy's policy against Tommy's Rangers
* TheAtoner: Tommy's M.O. is pretty much this. He never quite gets over having been the Green Ranger. People continuously wanting to kill him for his actions from that one year don't help either.
* BackFromTheDead: Bandora in the Champions Saga
* BadassNormal
* {{Badbutt}}: Played for laughs in Next Generation Book One when Tommy tries to stop cursing so badly now that he has to take care of his son, Tyler; he's quick to berate himself for letting him get kidnapped and used as a Phoenix avatar though
* BadFuture
** Continually warned by the Dark Man through the first volume, until it culminates into the Mogralord Wars
** In Next Generation, Simon continues to see this in his apocalyptic dream visions.
** And lastly, [[spoiler:Future Billy]] comes from one of these.
* BallroomBlitz: In Next Generation Year Two's chapter 15 "Fathers: Truth," the flashback scene of the Gorgom Syndicate's grand meeting about the King Stones certainly counts.
* BatmanCanBreatheInSpace: Averted. [[spoiler:And tragically for Cy, even a Ranger can't breathe a toxic atmosphere without proper gear.]]
* BigBad: At least one every season.
** Subverted with Xorin of the Shinzon in Next Generation Year Two. After appearing in the first few chapters and putting the Rangers back into action, he disappears for most of the story only to be unceremoniously killed by other villains after anticlimactic fight with the Rangers where they can barely remember who he is.
* BigBadEnsemble: The case in Year Two of Next Generation, when the rules of one villain vs one Ranger start to fall apart.
* BittersweetEnding: The Champions Saga. The Rangers and their allies defeat the Mogralord and his minions, but [[spoiler:a dozen of their personal friends die, they all lose their powers, the Earth is severely crippled, the galaxy is in a state of complete disarray, and Akuma promised that things will only get worse for Tommy and his friends.]]
* BreakingTheFellowship: Even though they intend to stay friends, after the fight with Bandora is over, Jason, Zack and Trini go to study abroad in Japan while Tommy, Billy and Kimberly stay State-side. It doesn't turn out to be an easy year for either group.
* CameBackWrong: Karas. [[spoiler:Turns out he's the dark half of Kou's spirit that's devastated when he learns the truth.]] HeGetsBetter
* TheCameo: Guyver in the Champions Saga finale to Series One. Given that his one-shot was never written, all we really know is that Sho Fukamachi fought Chronos, somehow won (unlike the manga or the anime), and then became a world-traveler with Kamen Rider Kuuga and Maya, an important side character.
** Series/ChoushinseiFlashman appear in the Champions Saga as an Eltarian sentai meant to stop the Power Rangers from taking an ancient, prophetic scroll telling of the defeat of the Eltarian council and the destruction of the universe. They're horribly underpowered compared to the Power Rangers, leading to an almost immediate CurbStompBattle.
** Several Marvel characters make brief appearances, with Spider-Man and Doctor Strange appearing more than once during Year Three and Four, as well as the Countdown to Destruction. Tony Stark and the Avengers get a brief mention in the first chapter of the Champions Saga, but by the time "Ultimate Origins" rolls around, the flashbacks [[{{Retcon}} replace Tony Stark]] with {{Expy}} [[SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute Anthony Starr.]] There were even plans at one time to incorporate versions of the [[Manga/MarvelMangaverse Fantastic Four and the X-Men]], but they never came to be.
** In "Ultimate Origins," the Series/TomicaHeroRescueForce appears extremely briefly in a single chapter. They do not even get a name in this cameo, just mentions of all their colors and their single, massive zord.
* CanonWelding: Not surprising, since it's an ultimate universe, but canons merge in all kinds of ways, including a number of [[EarlyBirdCameo Early Bird Cameos]].
* TheChosenMany: Each of the core five Power Rangers from Volume One Year Two is stated to be a special being: Tommy is the Dragon, charged with the fate of the universe; Rocky is a Healer, capable of healing any wound save death itself; Adam is some sort of descendent of Angels, and has a special power over the light and the darkness; Billy is the Shaper, capable of making things that others can only vaguely conceptualize; and Kimberly is the Phoenix, capable of channeling the Phoenix Force, a large part of the Power Cosmic.
* TheChosenOne: Both played straight and played with. In the first volume, Tommy Oliver is the Chosen One, called the Dragon, [[spoiler: a descendant of both the first Ranger and the first BigBad meant to bring about the destruction of the universe with the power to recreate it however he wants to.]] In the second volume, Tommy is still the Dragon and the Chosen One, but with things not proceeding like they normally do, Simon Kaden is shaping up as some sort of secondary Chosen One meant to course-correct the universe's cycle.
* ConvenientlyEmptyBuilding: Averted pretty hard. People are mentioned as dying in the battles a lot. This later becomes a major concern for Billy, who uses his company, INET, to take care of the people and companies affected.
* CrisisCrossover: The Countdown to Destruction and the Champions Saga (alternatively titled Countdown to Destruction Two) both count.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: Tommy (TheHero), Jason/Rocky (TheLancer), Adam (TheSmartGuy) and Teddy (TagalongKid) battle a BigBad that's rapidly gaining strength in TheMovie "The Dark Phoenix." [[Anime/DigimonAdventure Hmm, where have I seen this set-up before?]]
* DownerEnding: Ultimate Origin's finale, in which [[spoiler:Tommy's son, Tyler, was saved, but Hunter was semi-possessed by a demon and ran away to lead the Ikkazuchi and the Hand, Simon similarly ran off with crazy new-girl Zadie to possess demons so he'll be strong enough to face Azmodai, Kou realized he can't serve Xanathor but he won't leave Demon City and is now searching for Byakko, there was still zero unity between the various heroes, only one of the villains was defeated, and the First Seal of the Dark One's prison was broken.]]
* DroppedABridgeOnHim: The fate of [[LateArrivalSpoiler Kou]] at the start of Volume One Year Three (Shadows of Evil) when Lord Zedd awakens and takes him out in a OneHitKill. [[spoiler:However, now Kou, or perhaps a dark copy, has reappeared as Karas in Next Generation Year Two, serving as Shurikenger briefly before betraying the Rangers for Xanathor.]]
* EldritchLocation: The Lost Galaxy.
* EleventhHourRanger: Teddy's role as Kiba Ranger in Year Two of Volume One, only getting to serve as Kiba Ranger for a couple chapters before everything wrapped up, and then only briefly appearing as Kiba Ranger one other time in the Dark Phoenix special.
* {{Expy}}: The Ancient One, guardian of the Ancient Armor, is one for [[Film/MightyMorphinPowerRangersTheMovie Dulcea]], both being ancient individuals that provide the Rangers with a new power upgrade on a distant planet.
** The Armor itself is a direct {{Homage}} to ''Anime/RoninWarriors''.
** Sauron counts as this for Dark Specter, as well as for [[Film/TheLordOfTheRings his namesake]] in the visual department
* FightingYourFriend: Tommy has to do this to Kruger after Billy [[spoiler:orders the arrest or death of his Ranger teams]]
* FutureMeScaresMe: [[spoiler:Future Billy comes from a world where Earth is on the brink of destruction and the Rangers have betrayed each other, so he comes back to the past to change that. By hijacking past Billy's life.]]
* GenderFlip: Princess Ial of the Underground Empire Tube from ''Series/HikariSentaiMaskman'' now becomes Bryce, Prince of the Vorlock, Teddy Oliver's boyfriend who gets kidnapped by his people at the start of the Ultimate version of the Samurai Rangers.
* GodzillaThreshold: After [[spoiler:Billy blows up his dojo and sends out bounties on him and all his Rangers]], Tommy decides it's time to [[spoiler:resurrect all the old Rangers Powers from Volume 1]]
* GondorCallsForAid: The finale of In Space and the entire Champions Saga
* HighlyVisibleNinja: Not always the case, but the fact that the Hurricane and Thunder Rangers are in bright spandex a whole lot makes them fairly visible for ninjas. The Shurikenger is perhaps the worst case, as even if he travels silently, he still has a loud mouth ready to mock his opponent.
* HumongousMecha: They're everywhere, with several Megazords for each Ranger team.
** CombiningMecha
** MechaExpansionPack
* JustFriends: Continually happens to poor Billy. First he failed to get Kimberly, then Maya, then Ashley. He's never really forgiven Tommy for stealing Kim and Ashley either.
* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: A lot of Volume One hasn't managed to find its way onto Ryuranger's website yet, meaning the only way to read it is by digging through the archives of Rangerboard, and even then it's not totally complete.
* KilledOffForReal: A major point of this story is that [[DeathIsCheap death is]] ''[[DeathIsCheap not]]'' [[DeathIsCheap cheap]], and it tends to haunt a lot of Rangers.
* LampshadeHanging: In Chapter 41 of Next Gen Year 3, Bobby asks why the Giraffe Undead is called that when he looks like a beetle. In the original ''Blade'' series, he's the Giraffa Undead, a term for a Hercules Beetle.
* LukeIAmYourFather: Happens to Tommy, Kou, Justin, and Simon. [[spoiler:Simon even gets an I Am Your Mother variation.]]
* {{Magitek}}: While it could be argued that any of Billy's Ranger teams operate on this theory, the prime example is the Zeo Rangers, as the Zeo Crystal is specifically stated to have a combination of technologies encoded inside it while the necessary spells are written on the surface.
* MakeMyMonsterGrow
* TheManBehindTheMan: [[spoiler: Akuma's role in everything is manipulating every villain or person he can so that Tommy will fulfill his role as the Dragon and destroy the universe.]]
* TheMentor: Zordon fulfills this until the Space Ranger arc, except for Year Two when Master Kaku filled in. Now Tommy serves as the mentor in Next Generation, while
* MetaOrigin: [[spoiler:Pretty much every villain in Volume One has its source in Akuma's machinations.]]
* MirrorUniverse: Demon World Earth of Year Five's epilogue episode. Worse yet, the Tommy and Billy of that world [[NiceJobBreakingItHero slip into our own alongside the Rangers on their way home.]]
* NiceJobBreakingItHero:
** Tommy beats the cocky and power-hungry Eltarian mage Raisik way back in Year Two's epilogue episode "Dying Planet." Raisik shows up again briefly during Year Five when the entire universe is at war as a minor antagonist, but then in Next Generation Year One he comes back in full force to attack a weakened, post-Champions Saga Earth.
** A major plot point of the entire Next Generation, since Tommy refused to be the Dragon and end reality. As such, now the Pattern of Reality is unraveling, meaning there's no future, alternate timelines and alternate dimensions interfering, and the biggest bad of all time threatening to be released. Par for the course, [[TheAtoner Tommy feels like its all his fault.]]
** Pretty much every attempt by Billy to create a Ranger or Rider, with the exception of SPD. Need Jet Force online? [[LateArrivalSpoiler The portal malfunctions and summons the Vyram to Earth.]] Trying to create Kamen Rider Blade? [[spoiler:The Undead are all unsealed and Dark Billy, his evil compatriot and counterpart, starts working against him secretly.]] And the ZECT Riders like Kabuto? [[spoiler:Made from the DNA of the first wave of Worms and powered by the virus that Centhrax created to make and spreads Worms in the first place.]]
* NotHisSled: The Titanium Ranger's identity: [[spoiler: Billy Cranston.]]
* NotQuiteDead: [[spoiler:Kou.]]
* OfficialCouple: Tommy and Ashley. Tommy and Kimberly before her death. Blake and Rachel by Next Generation Year Two
* OminousMessageFromTheFuture: [[spoiler:Future Billy]] delivers one to Billy, but since he knows he won't believe him, [[spoiler:he [[GrandTheftMe hijacks his body]].]]
* PowerTrio: So far the only group that starts off as one of these is the Hurricanger in Next Generation Year One
* TheProphecy: There have been several, such as the prophecy of Two Suns sparking the kidnapping of Kamen Rider Black and Shadow Moon, but the main two are the prophecy of the Dragon, which states that Tommy Oliver will either destroy the entire universe or save it, and the Final Prophecy, a sort of back-up prophecy in case the natural cycle of the universe is thrown off that will try to tie up loose ends.
* ThePsychoRangers: The Psychos themselves show up during the In Space arc.
* RebuiltPedestal: Tommy has this [[spoiler:once he learns that Master Kaku did not truly betray the Rangers.]]
* RealLifeWritesThePlot: A major factor, as Ryuranger was forced to take an extended leave of absence from writing the series to battle a brain tumor.
* RookieRedRanger
* SealedEvilInACan: A large portion of the villain cast. Bandora, Zedd, the Balban and more
* SixthRanger: It's Power Rangers. However, it does figure in heavily when Tommy Oliver, the first sixth ranger, becomes the protagonist of the entire series.
* SixthRangerTraitor: [[spoiler:Kou/Karas as of his latest appearance in Year Two of Next Generation.]]
* SpiritAdvisor: Master Kaku served as this twice, helping first the original Power Rangers in Year Three to learn better control of their chi, and then again in Year Two of Next Generation with the Power Rangers to teach them the exact same thing.
* SuperMode: Several, predominantly the Ancient Armor in "Shadows of Evil" (Volume 1 Book Three). These suits can then try to merge with Tommy's suit to become the even more powerful Nova Armor, though it can potentially cost Tommy's life. Later, the Galaxy and Zeo Rangers get the Zodiac Armor to help defeat the Mogralord. Also, in the final battle against Warlock after he's betrayed the Mogralord, Kimberly [[spoiler:posthumously]] gives her Phoenix power to Tommy's Nova Armor, creating the Phoenix Armor.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: Could be said to be the case with Master Kaku to Zordon.
* StraightGay: Tommy's little brother Teddy Oliver. Something of a BigLippedAlligatorMoment in Volume One Year Three, where it's a brief plot point towards the end of Shadows of Evil when Teddy's sexual insecurities were used by Nightmare to render him helpless. Afterwards, it only gets a few brief mentions, such as his boyfriend Bryce's appearance in the Champions Saga or Simon's reference to it in Next Generation Year Two. However, the plot point plays as a fairly pivotal kick-off point for the start of Year Three when it's revealed that Bryce is the prince of the Vorlock (a group based on Maskman's villains).
* TechnoWizard: Billy is pretty close to being this, given his view that the Power is an energy source he can manipulate freely.
* TimeyWimeyBall: Time Force was from a future where Earth failed to survive the Second Countdown to Destruction and Mogralord's destruction reset the universe once again. However, thanks to the intervention of [[spoiler:Future Billy]] from a "doomed Earth" future where the Rangers succeeded in surviving the Second C2D, Earth survives the Champions Saga, erasing Time Force from existence. However, it's best to attribute this to simply a multiverse ideology and not an actual, singular timeline, as things then become... difficult
* VillainForgotToLevelGrind: The case of Gwenador in "Shadows of Evil" (Volume One Year Three). Zordon said her power levels were equal to [[BigBad Bandora]], only for her to get easily defeated by the Power Rangers, who had gotten a whole lot stronger in the past two years.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: What Billy has become over the course of the story. It's been getting worse ever since he left Earth during Zeo, but it's comes to a head in Next Generation when he starts making Ranger teams just to do it. Visions and hints thus far seem to suggest that whatever cataclysmic war is coming in the future, Billy has a major hand in it.
* WhamEpisode:
** A major point of the Ultimate Origins stories in Next Generation Year Two, but Chapter 16, "Hellfire: Bonds," in particular hits hard given its numerous reveals, such as [[spoiler:Simon having a brother who now serves the Hellfire Club as Series/{{Garo}}, and Simon's mother being the Black Queen of the Hellfire Club, who also happens to be the mother of late Kimberly Hart, the Pink Power Ranger and host of the Phoenix.]]
** Next Gen Year Three features Chapter 17, "Billy's Motivation", which reveals [[spoiler:every questionable thing done by Billy since the "In Space" arc was because he had been taken over by a future, time-traveling version of himself.]]
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse:
** The fate of Ivan Ooze in the Champions Saga. He destroyed Edenoi, and was promptly forgotten. WordOfGod states that he was killed "off camera" by the Turbos before they came back to Earth.
** Similarly, Kameo, who mysteriously disappeared after the finale of Year Two
* WordOfGod: The fate of Ivan Ooze, as stated above (see WhatHappenedToTheMouse entry)
** The origins of the SPD Omega Ranger, Sam. Since SPD's chapters were sidelined to focus on the main story, Sam's appearance near the end of "Ultimate Origins" was explained directly from Ryuranger: Sam came from a special SixthRanger Academy meant to help out the SPD bases in times of need, not from the future per the show.
* WordPower
