116	** [[spoiler: Ariel is one of the series' protagonists, kind of. Despite this, he shoots Carmen and seems to not regret it and goes kind of insane. He also helps build the bomb that destroys the Capitol, though he definitely regrets that.]]
117	** [[spoiler: Unlike the original series, Careers aren't automatically villains. Jaiven and Amelia are quite decent. However, they are still killers. Later on in the fic Amelia is forced to scrutinise her past worldview and widely held beliefs.]]
118	** [[spoiler: Despite Caddis being quite evil, you feel sorry for him when he meets a grisly end. Throughout the fic you also feel sympathy for Amaris, especially because of her strained relationship with her mother.]]
119	** [[spoiler: Even with somebody as evil and spiteful as Luther, her evilness is put under scrutiny when you realise she was purposely desensitised, trained and manipulated by Tactics, which leads you to wonder if she's truly evil or a by-product of her environment.]]
