6	* AdaptationalBadass: Bob-ombs in Mario canon will have a blast radius of about 5-6 times their diameter (as of ''VideoGame/SuperMarioGalaxy'' and ''VideoGame/SuperMarioGalaxy2''). The ''non-lethal paint bob-ombs'' in ''Shy Girl'' are strong enough to be mistaken for a ''terrorist attack'', and [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone Taylor is shocked at how much damage she caused with an absent-minded go-ahead]].
7	* AllAnimalsAreDogs: Taylor's pet Chomp Nippy.
8	* AmbiguousRobots: InUniverse, the main theory is that Taylor/Shy Girl is a Tinker and her Guys are advanced robots.
9	* BerserkButton: Taylor is this to both Sophia (over the paint bombs in high school) and Bakuda (for one-upping the ordnance of the ABB). In regards to Sophia, the feeling is mutual.
10	* TheChosenOne: Apparently Taylor was the one destined to be the Boss of the Shy Guys, who've been waiting for her for years.

17	* IWasJustJoking: Following an incident with non-lethal ordinance turning the school into a veritable war zone, Taylor has to explain to General Guy that sometimes she has thoughts she doesn't want to follow through with.

20	* NoKillLikeOverkill: Averted in the case of getting back at Taylor's bullies- Taylor orders a downgrade from lethal bob-ombs to non-lethal paint bob-ombs because she doesn't want to get in trouble. Even ''that'' is overkill and disturbs Taylor.
21	* DreamRealityCheck: Gourmet Guy slaps Taylor to prove they're real and not a hallucination.

33	* WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity: The sheer amount of information in the Shy Guy HiveMind did a mental whammy to Taylor, and while the Guys did a fairly good job patching her together, she's still got a few problems as a result.
