----
* Many of the Jedi who have originated in the Prequel Trilogy are extremely popular with the fans as a result of them being fleshed out and receiving AscendedExtra roles in ''The Clone Wars'':
** Plo Koon was this in the Prequel Trilogy to supervising director Creator/DaveFiloni, and his likable portrayal as AFatherToHisMen made him very popular with fans as well.
** Kit Fisto was already a popular character in the films, but his popular status has increased due to his [[FriendToAllChildren laid back personality]], [[GreenSkinnedSpaceBabe attractive design]], and [[BaritoneOfStrength Jamaican accent]] in this series.
** Luminara Unduli is popular with the fans due to her beautiful design, accent, and LadyOfWar portrayal.
** Aayla Secura, thanks to being an [[GreenSkinnedSpaceBabe attractive]] ActionGirl with a French accent and an amazing [[Creator/JenniferHale voice]].
** Ki-Adi-Mundi was well-liked by fans in the films thanks to being a MauveShirt there while his ability to [[CoolOldGuy one-up both Anakin and Ahsoka]] in "[[Recap/StarWarsTheCloneWarsS2E5LandingAtPointRain Landing at Point Rain]]" helped solidify his status as a well-liked character among the fans.
** Barriss Offee gained popularity from fans for her pretty design and friendship with Ahsoka, but it was her [[spoiler:[[FaceHeelTurn eventual tragic turn to the Dark Side]]]] that helped boost her popularitity in the eyes of fans.
** Shaak Ti's existing popularity as a capable Jedi from ''Legends'' only increased thanks to her [[AMotherToHerMen kind personality]] in ''The Clone Wars''.
** Originally a nameless background character in ''Film/ThePhantomMenace'' before becoming a major character in ''Legends'' comics (and he was a fan favorite in that continuity too) and a CanonImmigrant by mention in ''Revenge of the Sith'', Quinlan Vos received a lot of fans for his cool design, sarcastic sense of humor and willingness to bend the rules of the Jedi Order. His popularity led to him receiving a more prominent role in ''Literature/DarkDisciple''.
* Among the Jedi who originated in ''The Clone Wars'', we have:
** [[MeaningfulName Ima-Gun Di]], who only appears in "[[Recap/StarWarsTheCloneWarsS3E3SupplyLines Supply Lines]]", proved quite memorable for his [[spoiler:noble LastStand against the Separatist droid army]].
** Tera Sinube, for being a CoolOldGuy with an amusing [[{{Troll}} trollish]] personality and the fact that he is quite capable [[CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass despite his apparent senility]].
** Pong Krell, despite only appearing during the Umbara arc, for his badassery, design, [[Creator/DaveFennoy voice actor]], and [[LoveToHate fantastically loathsome]] personality. [[spoiler: The reveal that he was a [[EvilAllAlong villain all along]] just further increased his popularity.]]
** The group of Jedi younglings that were introduced during the Young Jedi arc (Byph, Ganodi, Gungi, Katooni, Petro, and Zatt), particularly due to being BadassAdorable.
* Many of the [[BadassNormal clone troopers]] featured in ''The Clone Wars'' are also popular with the fans thanks to the characterization that the series has given them:
** Rex, for being a clone of Jango Fett more than the others along with his [[GunsAkimbo twin pistols]], design, [[ServileSnarker servile snark]], [[NumberTwo friendship with Anakin Skywalker]], and [[CharacterDevelopment amount of moral choices]] throughout ''The Clone Wars''. His popularity led to his return in ''Rebels'', where he ended up doing the FandomSpecificPlot of being disloyal to the Empire and teaming up with the Rebels and Ahsoka.
** The members of Domino Squad earned plenty of fans in their [[BreakoutCharacter breakout appearance]] in "[[Recap/StarWarsTheCloneWarsS1E5Rookies Rookies]]", which led to them receiving an OriginsEpisode called "[[Recap/StarWarsTheCloneWarsS3E1CloneCadets Clone Cadets]]" in addition to having their story continued throughout ''The Clone Wars''.
*** Hevy, for his role as the team's BloodKnight, friendship with 99, skills with a rotary blaster cannon, and sacrificing himself to destroy the listening post and save Kamino.
*** Fives, for his general ClonesArePeopleToo and ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight personality, loyalty towards his brothers, development from an ordinary rookie into an [[EliteMooks ARC trooper]] and one of Rex's closest comrades, and role of inspiring others to go against [[GeneralRipper Krell]] during the Umbara arc. As a result, he ultimately got ADayInTheLimelight as the main character of the Order 66 arc. Said story arc increased his popularity even further, due to him nearly managing to prevent Order 66 and expose Palpatine's true nature, and [[spoiler:his death at end of "[[Recap/StarWarsTheCloneWarsS6E4Orders Orders]]" is still considered to be one of, if not ''the'' saddest scenes of the series]].
*** Echo, for his lawful yet surprisingly independent nature, memorable personality quirks, development from a rule-obsessed nerd into a genuine BadassBookworm, and close relationship with Rex. [[spoiler:His abrupt death was seen as such a waste of a good character that the creators had him make a [[NotQuiteDead return]] during the Bad Batch arc from Season 7 before [[BreakoutCharacter finally getting promoted to main character status]] in ''[[WesternAnimation/StarWarsTheBadBatch The Bad Batch]]'']].
** 99, the malformed maintenance clone on Kamino. While he only appears in two episodes, he nonetheless earned plenty of fans for his sweet personality, supporting and inspiring Hevy and the rest of Domino Squad, and doing his best to help his brothers during the Battle of Kamino by leading them around and fetching weapons and ammo. [[spoiler:After he dies in the battle, most fans agree with Cody when he declares 99 was a true soldier]].
** Cody, for being Obi-Wan's [[NumberTwo second-in-command]], [[FourStarBadass Marshall Commander]] of the entire [=GAR=], a ReasonableAuthorityFigure to his millions of clone-brothers, and as a result of his and Obi-Wan's [[SatelliteCharacter relationship]] being fleshed out.
** Ponds, despite only appearing in a handful of episodes, was popular for his [[NiceGuy friendly demeanor]].
** Although he never had a major role in the series, Denal was pretty popular for having a unique paint job among the clone troopers of the 501[[superscript:st]] Legion during the first season ([[EarlyInstallmentWeirdness this was at a time when most non-officer clone troopers who weren't important to the plot of the episode in question had very uniform or no paint jobs on their armor]]), and was also the main character of a now-''Legends'' cellphone game. Many fans lamented his sudden death and impersonation by Cad Bane in "[[Recap/StarWarsTheCloneWarsS2E2CargoOfDoom Cargo of Doom]]".
** Waxer and Boil, for their snarky SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan friendship and designs as well as the fact that they help Numa during the Ryloth arc. [[spoiler:Waxer's death in the Umbara arc]] is also widely regarded as one of the most emotional moments in the series.
** Cut Lawquane, the Clone deserter who [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere abandoned the war effort]] to [[ActionDad start a family]], only appears in "[[Recap/StarWarsTheCloneWarsS2E10TheDeserter The Deserter]]", but he was very well-liked and received an indirect mention in ''[[Literature/StarWarsAftermath Aftermath]]'' and returned in an episode of ''The Bad Batch''.
** Keeli, the Clone Commander under [[MeaningfulName Ima-Gun Di]] on Ryloth. While supplies are negotiated off-planet, he and his Jedi Master make the most of being [[OneEpisodeWonder One Episode Wonders]] by holding the Separatist droid army off at ''all'' costs, with Keeli courageously refusing to leave his Jedi general and dying alongside him.
** Gregor, for his [[TraumaInducedAmnesia tragic]] backstory and the [[AmnesiacDissonance epic reclamation of his old identity]], culminating in an apparent DyingMomentOfAwesome that, as ''Rebels'' revealed, ''he survived''.
** Jesse, for his [[DeadpanSnarker sarcastic personality]], cool design, expanded role during the Umbara arc, and amusing lines. Him being revealed to have become an ARC trooper in the seventh season was met with cheers from the fans, [[spoiler:and his tragic death in attempting to execute Order 66 made many a fan mourn his fate]].
** Kix, for his unique design, role as a clone medic, {{Adorkable}} yet kind personality, and concern for his brothers. His popularity received another increase after the Expanded Universe revealed him to be the only known clone to still be alive by the time of the sequel trilogy, with many fans hoping he'll appear in later works.
** Hardcase, despite only appearing in four episodes, was considered a highly memorable character, for his similarities to Hevy, hyperactive attitude, design, and [[spoiler:HeroicSacrifice]].
** Thorn only appears in "[[Recap/StarWarsTheCloneWarsS6E7CrisisAtTheHeart Crisis at the Heart]]" and had a few minutes of screen time, but his rotary blaster cannon (which was nicknamed "Hammer"), [[ComicBook/TheMightyThor Thor]] inspired paint job, and epic LastStand made him a very popular clone trooper among the fans. It helps that he's a well-liked character among the otherwise reviled-Coruscant Guard.
** Wolffe and his Wolfpack. Not only do these clones have a great designs, with Wolffe serving as the NumberTwo to another darkhorse Plo Koon, Wolffe in particular was one of the few clones that removed his control chip and would later join Rex and Gregor in helping the Rebel Alliance in ''Rebels''.
** Vaughn of the newly-created 332[[superscript:nd]] Battalion (a splinter regiment of the 501[[superscript:st]] Legion) didn't take long to resonate with fans thanks to his slightly-unique design, camaraderie with Ahsoka, and sudden heart-wrenching death, despite "[[Recap/StarWarsTheCloneWarsS7E9OldFriendsNotForgotten Old Friends Not Forgotten]]" being [[WeHardlyKnewYe the only episode he would appear in as a result of getting killed off towards the end of the episode]]. For some fans, the silver lining for his death was that they wouldn't get to see him be forced to execute Order 66 shortly after.
** Glitch from one of the [[ComicBook/StarWarsTheCloneWars comics]] for his adorable interest in the Force and trying (even if he miserably fails) to fight Pre Vizsla in lightsaber combat.
** Dogma has proved rather popular in spite of being an obstacle to Fives, Jesse, and Hardcase throughout the Umbara arc and his sychopanthic attitude to [[HateSink Krell]], mainly due to his endearingly socially awkward demeanor and [[JerkassWoobie tragic fate]].
* Admiral Wullf Yularen, who was once only known as a colonel in the Imperial Security Bureau thanks to a now-''Legends'' trading card game, got a huge boost in popularity thanks to his voice acting by Creator/TomKane, role as a traditional military man being paired with Anakin's maverick, and polite demeanor.
* Riyo Chuchi, who didn't appear in a lot of episodes, for her design as a golden eyed GreenSkinnedSpaceBabe, South African accent, [[Creator/JenniferHale voice]], and willingness to defy [[AssInAmbassador Chairman Cho]] in order to make peace with the Talz.
* Numa (the Twi'lek girl who appears in "[[Recap/StarWarsTheCloneWarsS1E20InnocentsOfRyloth Innocents of Ryloth]]"), for her roles as both a {{Moe}} and HeartwarmingOrphan, design, being surprisingly helpful to Obi-Wan's team, and having very sweet interactions with Waxer and Boil. Her popularity earned the now-adult Numa several guest appearances in ''Rebels''.
* The [[EliteMooks Commando Droids]], for having cool designs and being ''completely fricking badass'' compared to the Battle Droids and most droids in the Separatist droid army.
* [[RobotBuddy AZI-3]], who was introduced during the Order 66 arc, for bringing some much-needed humor to an otherwise dark story arc, showing more of a moral compass than the Kaminoans, and generally being very helpful to Fives throughout the story arc.
* EV-A4-D, Grievous' medical droid in "[[Recap/StarWarsTheCloneWarsS1E10LairOfGrievous Lair of Grievous]]". His CampGay voice (based on that of Creator/PaulLynde) and ability to talk smack to Grievous and not face any consequences have earned him many fans.
* [[SpacePirate Hondo Ohnaka]], for his cool design, [[Creator/JimCummings1952 memorable voice]], entertaining lines, and [[LargeHam hammy]], [[{{Greed}} greedy]] yet [[AffablyEvil caring personality]]. His popularity increased in "[[Recap/StarWarsTheCloneWarsS5E1Revival Revival]]" and then more so after "[[Recap/StarWarsTheCloneWarsS5E9ANecessaryBond A Necessary Bond]]". Hondo [[BadassBoast snarks]] at even the Sith, how can we not like him?
* Many of the [[BountyHunter Bounty Hunters]] featured in ''The Clone Wars'' are popular with the fans for their [[BadassNormal badassery]]:
** Cad Bane, due to his cool design and skills along with the fact that he feels like a mix of Jango Fett and Creator/LeeVanCleef with an [[Creator/CoreyBurton impressive voice]], great lines, [[CrazyPrepared intellegence]], and [[TheSociopath sinister]] yet [[BadassNormal capable]] tendencies as well as the characteristics of [[SpaghettiWestern spaghetti-western]] villains. His popularity is arguably one of the reasons he returns for a couple episodes in ''The Bad Batch''. [[spoiler:He even shows up in live-action in ''Series/TheBookOfBobaFett'' as well.]]
** Aurra Sing, for her attractive design, voice, ruthlessly evil personality, former romantic relationship with Hondo, and sharpshooting skills with dual blasters and a sniper.
** Cato Parasitti, for her design and abilities to [[ShapeshifterBaggage shapeshift]] and [[HolographicDisguise disguise]] herself, which she made good use of when infiltrating into the Jedi Temple undetected.
** Embo, since he has acrobatics that would make a Jedi jealous along with a hat that serves as a blaster-proof shield ''and'' as a PrecisionGuidedBoomerang in addition to the fact that he took on Savage Opress and survived (although, it was partly because Maul let him and the others go because they were [[PunchClockVillain bounty hunters]] and not their true adversaries). His [[CanineCompanion anooba]] Marrok was also pretty popular for not only giving Embo a badass pet, but also [[BadassAdorable having an adorable personality outside of battle]].
** Sugi, for being one of the kinder Bounty Hunters and a capable fighter, as demonstrated when she held her own against Darth Maul and lived.
** Boba Fett retains the popularity that he had with the fans during the Original Trilogy in ''The Clone Wars'' thanks to his [[ChildProdigy skills]] along with his [[AscendedExtra expanded role]] that shows him following his father's footsteps.
** Bossk, for his [[LizardFolk design]], voice, and portrayal as a protective figure for Boba Fett as a result of receiving an expanded role.
** Latts Razzi, for her [[GreenSkinnedSpaceBabe design]], [[WaifFu badassery]], and necklace that doubles as a whip.
** Dengar's appearance in the show garnered some fans for being a BadassNormal along with his [[Creator/SimonPegg voice]] and sarcastic sense of humor.
** C-21 Highsinger, for being a RobotBuddy and his design along with his [[LeanAndMean ability]] to take down mooks.
* Admiral Trench, for being a clever tactician that was dangerous enough to necessitate a Jedi-led task force just to defeat him in the backstory of ''The Clone Wars''. His reception among the fans was likely what led the writers to bring him back in the sixth and seventh seasons of the series.
* The Zillo Beast has an impressive following with the fans despite the fact that it was not part of a humanoid species. Although, anything that can tell Palpatine is evil and tries to do something about it earns our respect.
* The Force wielders (the Father, the Son, and the Daughter), who were introduced during the Mortis arc, are very popular with fans. Despite only appearing in three episodes, they are among the most memorable characters in ''The Clone Wars'' due to their impressive designs, cool voices, brilliant portrayals, memorable lines, and linking into the lore of the Force itself.
* In addition to retaining the popularity with the fans that he had back in ''Film/ThePhantomMenace'', Darth Maul's brilliant portrayal, [[Creator/SamWitwer excellent voice]], memorable lines, awesome design, and fleshed out AscendedExtra role in ''The Clone Wars'' have made him even more popular with the fans.
* Savage Opress, due to his tragic backstory and cool yet intimidating design along with the fact that he is an utter badass (even ''before'' getting a lightsaber) in addition to being ''Darth Maul's brother''.
* Some of the villains that appear in only one of the story arcs are popular among the fans. Riff Tamson and Osi Sobek are two good examples: Tamson is [[SharkMan a Karkarodon]] in addition to both badass and unlikeable at the same time that he is an excellent villain while Sobek is a very savvy villain who runs a prison that was quite a bit harder to escape from than your usual CardboardPrison and, just like Tamson, he isn't afraid to get his own hands dirty. Tamson is also very well remembered for his [[spoiler:[[FamilyUnfriendlyDeath incredibly]] [[LudicrousGibs gruesome]] death.]]
* Mandalorian students Lagos and Soniee are {{Satellite Character}}s to a fairly minor recurring character, but their TookALevelInBadass and ShesAllGrownUp moments in their second episode have resulted in a decent amount of fan art of them as official Mandalorian warriors.
