3	Ashley Judd (born Ashley Tyler Ciminella on April 19, 1968) is an American actress and political activist.

5	She grew up in a family of successful performing artists. Her mother, Naomi, and older half-sister, Music/{{Wynonna\|Judd}}, were part of the musical duo Music/TheJudds. While she is best known for an ongoing acting career spanning more than two decades, Ashley has increasingly become involved in global humanitarian efforts and political activism.
