The titular villains, almost all of which have a deep and burning hatred for Sonic the Hedgehog. In this story, Dr. Eggman recruited them to act in his plan to eradicate all versions of Sonic the Hedgehog across all dimensions through destroying the "Sonic Prime" of his reality.

[[foldercontrol]]
[[folder:In General]]
* CardCarryingVillain: Most of them are bad to the bone and reveling in it. Eggman's key desire is getting the world to submit to his ego and genius, Naugus and Scourge desire to similarly be worshiped like kings, Sleet and Dingo want to bathe in wealth and power, Shadow loathes the ideals of friendship and openly wants to bury them into the ground, Rosy knows how AxCrazy she is and embraces it as her life philosophy (ditto for Super Sonic), and to a lesser degree Scratch, Grounder, Coconuts, and Brainwashed!Sara are proud of being servants to a Robotnik and terrorizing people wherever they go. The only definite exceptions to this are Orbot and Cubot as PunchClockVillains and Dark Oak as a KnightTemplar, and even then, the latter's view of himself as [[WellIntentionedExtremist doing things for the greater good]] runs on borderline InsaneTrollLogic.
* EvilOverlooker: Sleet, Naugus, Dark Oak, and [[spoiler:Perfect Chaos]] in the poster.
** Naugus is also this in the eyecatch after he turns Scourge into a tree frog.
* SevenDeadlySins: Each of these vices is a key motivator for at least one villain:
** '''Lust:''' Dingo, whose ideal victory prize would be to get "all the girl [he wants]" as ruler of the multiverse, with the rebel princess Sonia by his side as his "queen". In a more ancillary sense, Rosy and (unwillingly) Sara are also madly in love with Scourge and Eggman respectively, wanting to defend their honor through retaliation against their enemies.
** '''Gluttony:''' Dark Oak, who has a single-minded obsession with plant life and wants to excessively spread it to every corner of existence ''and then some'', while assimilating anything and everything else in the way of it.
** '''Greed:''' Naugus, who proclaims he has the ancestral right to bask in the power and authority granted by the Kingdom of Acorn's throne, hence his ambition to usurp the current kingdom, build a new domain of his own designs on top of it, and re-establish the glory of the Order of Ixis.
** '''Sloth:''' Sleet, whose ultimate desire to live an aristocratic life of pleasure — and happily leave the lower classes to rot while he indulges on "money, power and free chicken" — is his personal motivation for destroying the Sonic Underground and collecting the bounty placed on their heads. While not slothful ''at all'' in regards to his villainy, he still frequently exploits Dingo as a part of his schemes and knowingly gets him to take most of the physical brunt, which counts as sloth in the sense of apathy towards the suffering of others.
** '''Wrath:''' Shadow, whose reason for joining the Eggman Empire is to put down Sonic for [[SillyRabbitIdealismIsForKids his friendship and carefree attitude]] and prove once and for all that VirtueIsWeakness, so that nobody dares to follow the blue hedgehog's example ever again. Rosy likewise enjoys having the freedom to "strangle [her] own leash on life" and treat everything around her like toys to play with or break.
** '''Envy:''' Scourge, who yearns to surpass his multiversally-revered blue counterpart in prominence and no longer be AlwaysSecondBest to him. He's also shown to feel attacked whenever other characters don't take him as seriously as he would've liked, such as his incredulity towards Eggman calling Shadow a "star player" and brief frustration when Cubot finds him too whiny to be afraid of.
** '''Pride:''' Eggman himself takes the cake above everyone else, since his aspirations to conquer the world and destroy Sonic have always been motivated by a desire to prove himself as the best by any means necessary, and he sees himself as the would-be figurehead to his idea of a perfect utopia. Sure enough, he also views himself as above all the other "incredibly gullible and increasingly exploitable" villains in his team, and doesn't hesitate to address himself as their new superior.

-->-- '''Dr. Eggman''', ''WebAnimation/SonicVillains''' "Ask the Eggman Empire" Q&A session

Everyone's favorite RecurringBoss, MadScientist, and FatBastard, head honcho to the bad guys, and the self-declared "greatest scientific genius in the world".
\
Having grown up admiring the achievements of his grandfather, Gerald Robotnik, Dr. Eggman eventually decided to prove his own genius to the world (that being both his own Earth and the nearby [[WorldOfFunnyAnimals "Animal World"]] he settled on to escape the constraining ignorance of human society) through [[TakeOverTheWorld conquering it in his name]] using a combination of his animal-powered "Badnik" robots and supernatural power sources like the fabled Chaos Emeralds. Unfortunately, a little blue hedgehog calling himself Sonic thought it'd be fun to run around and keep Eggman from achieving his goals of [[BlatantLies making the world a better place]], and the two have been trying to best each other ever since, with Eggman's increasingly grander attempts of asserting his "Eggman Empire" being foiled in one way or another by Sonic and his ever-growing friend circle.
\
Following Dr. Eggman's latest nerve-wracking defeat from just after [[VideoGame/SonicForces the one time he managed to succeed in world domination]], the good doctor's used the last remnants of his [[RealityWarper Phantom Ruby]] to gather (and potentially enslave) other Sonic-hating evil-doers from across the multiverse, as part of a new revenge scheme to destroy the Sonic of his [[TheEarthPrimeTheory "Prime Dimension"]] and wipe out all other versions of the hedgehog by proxy.
----
* {{Acrofatic}}: He found a way to briefly outrun Sonic through ''swinging his body fat back and forth'' and using the kinetic energy created. [[RefugeInAudacity Even Dark Oak admits he's oddly impressed by the feat.]]
* AffablyEvil: Sort of a mix between this and his canon self's FauxAffablyEvil. He's as arrogant, rude, and self-centered as usual, but he seems to be a little more lenient towards his allies here (such as having an honest and open conversation with Dark Oak about [[ItMakesSenseInContext parenting]]), possibly due to RuleOfFunny being at play.
* ArchEnemy: Towards Sonic, as always, and his personal hatred for the hedgehog is the strongest out of everyone on his team. When asked ''why'' in the Q&A session, he gives such a pointlessly [[LongList extensive]] (and implicitly [[PrecisionFStrike profane]]) list of reasons that the transmission cuts off before he even starts.
* BigBad: Of his own dimension, and the one responsible for leading the multiversal attack against Sonic.
* EvilGenius: He's got an IQ of 300 and is the tactical lead behind gathering all the villains to defeat Sonic Prime.
* ExpressiveMask: His glasses are drawn with flattened edges on the bottom side whenever he's making half-lidded expressions.
* EvilLaugh: Lets out a truly menacing one at the end of [[https://youtu.be/KJIwTFMPqME this video.]]
* FirstNameBasis: Per his ([[FauxAffablyEvil Faux]]) AffablyEvil personality, he refers to Naugus as Walter.
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: He enters the world of the [=OVA=] in hopes of finding that world's Metal Sonic, unaware of its demise mere minutes beforehand.
* MoralMyopia: Finds it odd that [[VideoGame/MarioAndSonicAtTheOlympicGames the Olympics association]] didn't ban [[AxCrazy Eggman Nega]] after the time [[NoodleIncident he attempted to nuke their entire stadium]], and yet insists he was justified in covering London with "spooky death fog" because they didn't invite him that one time.
* {{Narcissist}}: Wrote and published ''Praise Be Thy Overlord'', a ''religious text'' dedicated to himself that claims his EvilLaugh can cure cancer.
* OnlySaneByComparison: You wouldn't expect this to be the case, but between a bunch of BumblingSidekick robots, a psychotic pink hedgehog and cat-girl, two snide and actively misanthropic hedgehogs, a SmugSnake wolf-man, his DumbMuscle flunky, a grouchy old wizard, and a BumblingDad with a botany fixation, it's not hard to see why he might be one of the more level-headed in the group. Even said BumblingDad admittedly views him as "the only one with sense" out of everyone in the Q&A. That being said, he's still the same [[LaughablyEvil eccentric evil scientist]] we all know and love, and his self-egotism is still a driving factor that some other characters call out.
* OtherMeAnnoysMe: Admits in the Q&A that the reason he decided to not [[AllianceOfAlternates team up with his alternate selves]] is because dealing with [[VideoGame/SonicGenerations his younger self]] and [[VideoGame/SonicRush Eggman Nega]] ruined this for him. As far as he's concerned, ''him'' him is enough Eggman for his scheme all by itself, and the non-Eggman villains are ones he's better able to exploit.
-->'''Eggman:''' When you're stuck in a white void with your younger self for an eternity, all that genius in one room just cancels itself out.
* ScaryShinyGlasses: He always wears these.
* VillainRespect: Eggman praises Movie Sonic for his DestructiveSaviour antics at the start of the [[Film/SonicTheHedgehog22022 second movie]], as well as his skills in knocking out the bank robbers. Of course, he also responds with disappointment when he manages to avoid killing a pedestrian.

Dr. Eggman's BumblingHenchmanDuo, designed to help him with smaller tasks and with personalities made to boost his ego or morale.
\
Orbot, the first of the two created, is a spherical robot that typically does the harder little things his boss needs doing, even if he does them with quite the amount of passive-aggressive sass against his boss. Eventually, he requested a little extra company and gained a cohort in Cubot, a blockheaded and lazier little bot, but one he loves as a brother all the same. Together, the two make the perfect pair of helper-bots, being both completely inseparable and loyal to their boss… but that's not to say they share his world-conquering ambitions or vehement hatred for Sonic.
\
While they they aren't major assets in Eggman's next scheme of gathering some of the multiverse's greatest fighters to destroy Sonic, they still help out their boss with the little things like usual, when they're not making musical covers under the band name "Shapes and Japes".
----
!!Tropes applying to both:
* BumblingHenchmenDuo: As per Sonic tradition, they are two comical robots carrying out tasks for the BigBad, Dr. Eggman.
* CoDragons: The duo are this to Eggman.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: They look equally horrified when Eggman yanks the Phantom Ruby out of Infinite.
* EvilDuo: Orbot is relatively smart but rather snarky, while Cubot is a complete idiot.
* LeetLingo: Orbot's model number is SA-55 (Sass) and Cubot's model number is DUM-8 (Dumb).
* PunchClockVillain: Neither are evil, per se. While they serve Eggman loyally, they don't scheme or plan or plot anything themselves. They don't even hold a grudge against Sonic himself.
* VillainsOutShopping: They do musical covers under a band called "Shapes and Japes" in their spare time.

!!Tropes that only apply to Orbot:
* AdaptationalBackstoryChange: A possible example in that [[https://web.archive.org/web/20161021151700/http://sonic.sega.jp/SonicChannel/comic/25th/20161021_001192/ a Sonic Channel post]] once proposed the Orbot seen in ''Unleashed'' was a prototype model (which we could thus assume, given he lacked as much restraint as the current Orbot, was given a YouHaveFailedMe by Eggman) rather than this film's interpretation that he was the current Orbot before being tweaked into what he is now.
* CloudcuckoolandersMinder: To Cubot.
* SarcasticDevotee: He never wastes a chance to take a jab at his boss.
* VillainousFriendship: Gets along with Sleet fairly well, due to both being the smarter half of a BumblingHenchmenDuo. Ditto for the IneffectualSympatheticVillain crew of the SSSSS Squad.

!!Tropes that only apply to Cubot:
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: [[spoiler:The [=EXE=] virus possesses him in the climax of the Q&A.]]
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: His favorite music genre is ''microwave noises''.
* DidYouJustFlipOffCthulhu: Makes fun of Scourge, a somewhat AxCrazy version of Sonic with all the same speed and latent power, and ''gets away with it'' without even a hint of nervousness or concern.
-->'''Scourge:''' I tell ya, if I'd stolen the Master Emerald from that half-witted knucklehead, ''I'd've been unstoppable!''\
'''Cubot:''' Eh, I dunno, sounds like a lotta big-baby-wussy-talk to me.\

'''Cubot:''' ''(entirely unfazed)'' Hey, don't be dissin' coffee tables like that, ''bro!'' My ex-girlfriend was one'a those!
* TheDitz: He's ''slightly'' less clueless than Dingo and Grounder, but not by much.

->''"Long time no see, Sonic, my loathsome copy!"''
-->--'''Neo Metal Sonic''', ''VideoGame/SonicHeroes''

Dr. Eggman's magnum opus and [[TheDragon right hand champion]], and the Badnik said to have gotten the closest to killing Sonic -- and all because he's meant to be the ''better'' Sonic in every meaningful way, existing through a combination of Eggman's cold hard machinery, his mathematical estimates based on research, and bio-data taken from the blue blur. But even with all his power and ruthlessness, Metal has never truly been able to defeat his fleshy counterpart, and so has spent years yearning for the day that he'll finally succeed in defeating Sonic and proving himself to all as the "''real'' Sonic".
----
* AdaptationalContextChange: {{Downplayed|Trope}}. Metal's past rebellion and transformation into Neo Metal Sonic was heavily implied in ''Heroes'' proper to have been the result of Metal himself upgrading "[his] body with [his] own hands" as a result of the constant defeats he suffered from his fleshy counterpart. It's instead stated here that Metal Sonic's betrayal came from his AI being upgraded with "a little ambition" by Eggman, even if it's not discussed whether Metal had any existing desire to do such a thing beforehand and Eggman just removed the inhibitions preventing him from doing so.
* AIIsACrapshoot: At one point Eggman, as he put it; "Programmed a little ambition into him", which resulted in Metal going mad with power, leading to the events of ''Heroes''.
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: Sonic is this to him, and needless to say, it pisses him off.
* ArchEnemy: He was created for the sole purpose of killing Sonic.
* BadassAutomaton: One of Eggman's most deadly robots, and capable of matching Sonic in speed and combat prowess.
* BloodKnight: His main goal is to kill Sonic, and he's even turned on Eggman to achieve that goal once.
* {{Determinator}}: His resolve is almost as strong as the Hedgehog he's based on. No matter ''how many'' defeats he suffers, he '''will kill Sonic'''.
* TheDragon: To Eggman.
* EvilKnockoff: Naturally, to Sonic.
* HyperCompetentSidekick: Metal is very intelligent and one of Eggman's most powerful creations, hence why the Doctor keeps him around despite his treachery.
* KillerRobot: Most of Eggman's robots fit this trope, but Metal is the most deadly.
* SilentAntagonist: In his base form he either lacks the ability to talk or just prefers not to do so.
* SuperSpeed: Naturally, being a robot Sonic.
* TurnedAgainstTheirMasters: Has turned on Eggman at least twice.
* UndyingLoyalty: While this loyalty was programmed into him following his… "episode", Metal's relationship with Eggman appears to now be akin to a father-son relationship. Eggman even talks about his betrayal in ''Heroes'' as if he's referring to a rebellious teen.

-->-- '''Infinite''' to Shadow before being on the receiving end of a CurbStompBattle, ''VideoGame/SonicForces:'' [[AnotherSideAnotherStory Episode Shadow]]

Eggman's former top enforcer from [[VideoGame/SonicForces his last big scheme]], and the SoleSurvivor of the Jackal Squad mercenary team following their run-in with Shadow the Hedgehog, having volunteered to become a super-soldier to gain the power to stand against the black hedgehog, and other heroes like Sonic by proxy. After numerous failures at the hand of the Resistance, the Phantom Ruby replica in his chest has put his body under greater and greater turmoil, but he nevertheless looks forward to ''truly'' defeating Sonic and reuniting with his old squad once more.
----
* AdaptationalSympathy: In ''Sonic Forces'' and the prequel comics made to promote it, there was no indication that Infinite actually ''cared'' about his Jackal Squad — aside from the possible humiliation he felt about Shadow killing them before being beaten up himself — and never cares to think about them again once he became one with the Phantom Ruby. Here, his desire for revenge against Sonic and his friends is itself motivated by a desire to reunite with his lost crew.
* AintTooProudToBeg: It ain't called [[https://youtu.be/KJIwTFMPqME "Infinite Pleads"]] for nothing.
* AssholeVictim: While the "Infinite Pleads" scene where Eggman [[YouHaveFailedMe painfully removes his Phantom Ruby]] is clearly played for horror, it should still be noted that Infinite himself has been guilty of torturing or outright ''killing'' civilians for his own sadistic pleasures, as per ''VideoGame/SonicForces''.
* BeleagueredAssistant: It's implied that Eggman only cares about him when he needs the use of the Phantom Ruby.
* BreakTheHaughty: It's implied that, especially following his defeat at the hands of Sonic and the Resistance soldier, Eggman's current treatment of him as an afterthought compared to the other villains ''he's never even met before'' has made him less outwardly arrogant and more like a mere BeleagueredAssistant to the doctor.
* ButtMonkey: Doesn't get much respect or even ''acknowledgement'' from the others. He only gets one question in the Q&A and it's quickly hijacked by Eggman.
* DemotedToExtra: Eggman merely uses him as a way to engineer the FourthWallMailSlot, and doesn't even let him introduce himself, let alone properly answer any questions.
* EvilWearsBlack: Besides his mask, his attire consists of black gloves and boots.
* ExoticEyeDesigns: When wearing the mask his eye seems to have a golden pupil with red sclera. Without the mask, he has a blue eye and a yellow eye.
* AFatherToHisMen: Implied. One of his goals besides revenge is reuniting with his Jackal Squad.
* {{Flight}}: He can fly because of the Phantom Ruby's power.
* FromNobodyToNightmare: Infinite was originally the leader of a mercenary group known as the Jackal Squad; they eventually joined up with Eggman and were assigned to protect his lab in Mystic Jungle. However, Shadow defeated the group and dealt Infinite a humiliating defeat. After this, he vowed to become stronger, leading him to become Infinite.
* InferioritySuperiorityComplex: His defeat at the hands of Shadow has left him with this.
* MalevolentMaskedMan: Wears a metallic mask shaped like a fox's head.

When asked about their status as this in the Q&A, Boom!Shadow interjects that they were the closest in proximity to a Chaos Blast he did earlier. They assume that this is due to them being MadeOfIron, but [[DumbassHasAPoint Dingo]] guesses that it could be due to their dimension running on ToonPhysics.

The ''comparatively'' more self-aware and competent [[SixthRanger Third Ranger]] of the S.S.S.S.S. Squad (still a bolt-headed baboon by general villain standards), with the power to summon and throw coconut bombs from his hands to use as easy ammunition. He's also the most hot-blooded and twitchy given how his Robotnik has frequently demoted him to sanitation duty, not helped by how his replacement "little brothers" Scratch and Grounder still manage to be ''way'' stupider than him.
\
While he's always been the most independent-minded of the trio, he likewise wants to defeat Sonic Prime and his alternates in the hopes of gaining some respect and a "prrrrrromotion" from his version of the mad doctor.
----

-->-- '''Scourge''', ''[[ComicBook/SonicTheHedgehogArchieComics Sonic Universe]]'' issue #32, "Inside Job, Part Four: No Holds Barred"

An alternate ''alternate'' version of Sonic the Hedgehog from [[MirrorUniverse a universe where he and his friends are punk villains and the local Eggman is a kind veterinarian.]] Born into royalty (or at least born to a sleazy royal diplomat of a father), this Sonic grew up during a time of world peace. With time, however, [[WeHaveBecomeComplacent things stagnated]] and the system began falling apart. Having been fed up with both his old man and how stale and boring said peacetime was for him anyways, this Sonic promptly put an end to both, and gathered several other like-minded rebels to set off on a global crime spree.
\
One day, this Sonic learned of the Cosmic Interstate -- and the multiverse by proxy -- and didn't take the news that he was merely an "Anti-" knock-off of the "Archie" Dimension's Sonic very well. "Anti-Sonic" was thus driven to make a name for himself and clashed with the Sonic he was connected to on multiple occasions, and eventually used the "Archie" Dimension's Master Emerald to mutate himself into the more powerful "Scourge the Hedgehog". Scourge soon joined the Destructix mercenary team under the command of the mad echidna scientist Dr. Finitevus, convinced Sonic's ally Fiona Fox to leave the heroes and join his side, and forced his home world's (admittedly more inept) denizens to undergo the same makeover he received over the course of a few weeks of planet-wide conquest. Following a failed attempt to subjugate the true "Archie" Dimension into his grand kingdom and/or toy (along with a short stay at an inter-dimensional prison), Scourge has since rejoined Fiona and the Destructix to play a part in Finitevus' own multiversal takeover plan.
\
However, Scourge's dimension has recently become "all screwed" due to [[CosmicRetcon weird events involving the Sonic he's connected to]], effectively putting Finitevus' plans on hold. In the meantime, he's taken a leave to join Eggman Prime's team (alongside Rosy, unfortunately) in their attempt to wipe Sonic from the multiverse, having been enthused at the possibility of finally cutting himself free from his other half.
----
* AccentAdaptation: [=LandyRS=] gives him a noticeable [[BrooklynRage dry Brooklyn accent]] here.
* AdaptationalComicRelief: In the original comics following his redesign, Scourge was often treated as a menacing threat who frequently had the upper hand in a fight, with some characters such as the Suppression Squad showing visible fear in response to his violent attitude. In ''Sonic Villains'', his aggressive traits contribute less to his status as a threat and more towards him being a [[SmallNameBigEgo vainglorious thug]], with the other villains finding him more annoying than intimidating, often not hesitating to poke fun of him at times. It's especially telling when Cubot, one of the weakest and least competent in the whole group, isn't even afraid of him.
* AlternateSelf: He's basically an evil opposite version of Sonic.
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: He's not overly fond of being referred to as Anti-Sonic or Evil Sonic, hence his desire to erase Sonic from the multiverse (though it's unclear whether he's aware if that might affect ''him'', too).
* AsskickingLeadsToLeadership: ''Tries'' to enforce himself as this. He took over his own world after simply beating up various warlords across the planet and beating his old gang into submission. However, it's implied that he took the easy way out in that the denizens of his own world lacked the same kind of bravery and fighting spirit seen in Sonic's world, hence why the other villains don't view his takeover as a big accomplishment and see him as just a [[SmallNameBigEgo showboater]] at the end of the day.
* BewitchedAmphibians: Makes the mistake of talking smack to [[EvilSorcerer Naugus]] and ends up getting turned into a tree frog for his troubles.
* BullyingADragon: It's generally not a good idea to talk smack to an experienced EvilSorcerer or someone with a psychotic SuperpoweredEvilSide, but he does it anyway.
* TheChewToy: Second only to Dingo in suffering the most misfortune in the group — he's forced to deal with having ''[[AbhorrentAdmirer Rosy]]'' as his only partner in defeating Sonic Prime, his boasts about conquering his planet and hopefully the rest of the multiverse aren't taken seriously, and when he tries to talk tough to other villains, [[LaserGuidedKarma all he gets is his just desserts]].
* DirtyCoward: One of the major reasons Eggman got him onboard was because he has all the might of Sonic without any of his morals... ''or'' the unshakable bravado, meaning he can be easily controlled through a sufficient enough threat.
* EvilTwin: He's from a MirrorUniverse where good and evil are swapped.
* FangsAreEvil: He was already evil, but his teeth went from flat to sharp after his transformation into Scourge.
* FeetOfClay: He puts on a big show of being one of the strongest guys around, but pretty much ''everyone'' around him knows he's ''all'' show, with nothing to say for himself beyond the raw physical prowess he has compared to Sonic.
* KarmicButtMonkey: Given how much of a {{Jerkass}} and SmugSnake he is, almost everything bad that happens to him is self-inflicted in one way or another.
* NeverMyFault:
** Regarding how he was defeated as Super Scourge:
--->'''Scourge:''' "To Scourge, how come you let Sonic trick you into powering down in your last fi…" ''Oh, f**k this!'' He did NOT trick me, all right!?\
'''Eggman:''' Wuh-hoah! Sounds like someone's a little heated! It's okay. We've all been duped by that blue pin-cushion at least once in a while.\
'''Scourge:''' ''It was the dumb Anarchy Beryl!'' Lousy Chaos-Emerald-knockoffs! I tell ya, if I'd stolen the Master Emerald from that half-witted knucklehead, I'd've been ''unstoppable!''
** At the end of the Q&A, following the end result of his BullyingADragon of [[spoiler:Fleetway Super Sonic]]:
--->'''Eggman:''' You? But you were asleep! How did you awaken!? ''Who ticked him off!?''\
'''Shadow:''' Why don't you ask your ''green highness'' that wonderful question, Doctor? I'm sure he'll have quite the ''entertaining answer!''\
'''Scourge:''' Hey, look, I just ''teased'' the runt a bit, alright? It's not my fault he can't take a joke!\
'''Dark Oak:''' Well, your "joke" just doomed us all, ''you false pineapple!''
* NoRespectGuy: Pretty much everyone who isn't Rosy finds him to be some degree of annoying or pathetic despite his claims of being as big a deal as Sonic. Even ''Cubot'' thinks he's talking out of his ass when he insists he could've beaten Sonic with the Master Emerald, and Eggman actually tries ''[[PetTheDog comforting]]'' him when he gets upset about being outwitted by Sonic.
* SirSwearsALot: The only member of the villains who uses (censored) profanity, namely the classic PrecisionFStrike.

-->-- '''Rosy''' to Sonic and Amy about the side effects of her PlotRelevantAgeUp, ''ComicBook/SonicTheHedgehogArchieComics'' issue #193, "Otherside, Part One: How the Other Half Lives"

An alternate ''alternate'' version of Amy Rose from the same world as Scourge, and likewise starting out as infatuated with him when he wanted nothing to do with her. Hence, she used a magic ring to wish herself older in an attempt to get his attention, but with a cost: her sanity. Predictably, Scourge wants ''less'' than nothing to do with her now that she's become increasingly obsessive and creepy over him, a fact which Rosy still hasn't picked up on.
\
Rosy shares Amy's acrobatic skills and slight magical proficiency, being able to summon dangerous variations of toy objects, her own Piko-Piko Hammer among them. Combined with her one-track psyche and unsettlingly childish demeanor, what results is a dangerous and deceptive child that can switch from a veneer of sweetness to a violent rampage at the drop of a dime, often equating her love for her "Scourgey" with a desire to "smash" him into green jelly.
\
Having been recruited by Eggman Prime alongside Scourge, Rosy's also up for ridding the multiverse of Sonics, wanting revenge against the "Archie" Dimension's one for humiliating and dethroning her "little hunk of algae". In the meantime, she's surprisingly gotten along well with some of the other members of Eggman's team (Sara especially), despite Scourge's continued misery in her presence.
----
* AlternateSelf: She's an evil version of Amy Rose.
* AscendedExtra: Rosy only appeared in a single storyline of the original Archie comics as a supporting character to Scourge and the Suppression Squad. Here, Eggman's appointed her as a major team member of the multiverse's greatest Sonic combatants, on a level comparable to Scourge himself.
* AxCrazy: That's putting it ''lightly''...
* CreepyChild: While she is an AxCrazy {{Yandere}}, she is still a child, which leads her to do things like apparently having extremely messed-up "Tea Parties" or drawing and then happily showing to Boom!Shadow a picture of Sonic getting impaled by broken glass.
* CuteAndPsycho: Looks like a RoseHairedSweetie, but she'll happily smash anything and anyone.
* TheDreaded: Even Scourge doesn't like dealing with her; his first instinct upon being in the same room with her is to '''RUN'''.
* FourthWallObserver: Implied during the Q&A.
* ILoveTheDead: Even Scourge's death won't stop her from loving him. When Scourge says that the only way he will marry her is over his dead body, Rosy simply states that that can be arranged and that she can make it look like an accident.
* LoveMakesYouCrazy: She tried to use a magic ring to age herself up and gain Scourge's affections… said magic corrupted her mind.
* LovesTheSoundOfScreaming: Admits her favorite "music genre" is people screaming and begging and plays a recording in the Q&A.
* MythologyGag: She wears Amy's initial design from the Classic era games. Her name also comes from a mistranslated subtitle for Amy in ''VideoGame/SonicTheFighters''.
* SanityBall: Ironically, being AxCrazy doesn't stop her from seeing that it's a bad idea to ignore some BrainwashedAndCrazy idiots.
* ShadowArchetype: She can arguably be viewed as a representation of stereotypes some have given to Amy Rose herself (in part due to her {{Flanderization}} in the mid-2000s): a psychotic {{Yandere}} that only has (her) Sonic on her mind at all times, without any kind, mature, or upstanding qualities whatsoever.
* SlasherSmile: It's practically her default expression.
* SpikesOfVillainy: Her Piko-Piko Mallet has large spikes on its ends, making it far more lethal.
* SecondaryColorNemesis: While normal Amy's hammer is yellow and red, Rosy's spiked one is primarily green.
* VillainousFriendship: Has one with Sara, due to her being just as much of a "loose cannon" as her.
* {{Yandere}}: Rosy has a very warped idea of love, to the point where she is willing to to bust Scourge's head in, break any part of his body, or even flat-out [[ILoveTheDead kill him]] just to make him hers.

-->-- '''Ixis Naugus''', ''ComicBook/SonicTheHedgehogArchieComics'' issue #220, "In Service to the King, Part Two"

Most "villains" with large egos will often try taking over the world or universe. Meanwhile, the goals of Ixis Naugus, while seemingly smaller in scale, pose a threat greater than most realize.
\
In the dimension he comes from (The Archie Comics Dimension), Naugus is a cunning & manipulative troll who hails from the Order of Ixis, a legion of wizards who ruled over the city of Mobotropolis. (Now currently ruled by one of this Sonic's childhood friends, Sally Acorn.) After a long brutal war, most wizards of the Order were wiped out, leaving Naugus & his sister Wendy as the last of the Order's living lineage. While Wendy fled to create her own legion of bandits & magic wielders, Naugus stayed & acted as a royal servant to the land of Mobotropolis' new rulers. He was soon banished to another dimension (known as the Special Zone to many) after betraying Sally's father, King Max. All that time spent in the Special Zone gave Naugus time to strengthen his magic abilities. He later escaped stronger than ever with a hunger for the title of Mobotropolis' true ruler.
\
Naugus has many spells under his belt, his favorite being those related to the summoning & manipulation of crystals, as well as shapeshifting.
\
Over the years, however, Naugus has become a master of the elements. Magical spells & attacks based on Earth, Wind, Fire, & Water are plentiful in his arsenal.
\
Other spells are more subtle. Without moving a muscle, Naugus can temporarily channel into the minds of unsuspecting victims & alter their emotional states to manipulate events from afar. A real "Jack of All Trades", this one.

----
* ArcVillain: Was occasionally this several times back in his own dimension, being seen as a powerful enemy by both Sonic and Dr. Eggman.
* CompositeCharacter: He's the post-reboot Archie version of Naugus, but he also follows his pre-reboot self in being the last member of an ancient "Order of Ixis". Personality-wise, he takes some inspiration from his ''[=SatAM=]'' self, being more collected than his more crazed and temperamental comic counterpart (to the point that he openly dislikes Rosy's "lack of emotional coherency"), and likewise has the ability to inflict [[ForcedTransformation transformation spells]] on others for his amusement.
* ElementalPowers: He has power over Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water, as well as Crystal.
* EvilSorcerer: He can manipulate the elements to his will and utilize crystal magic.
* FirstNameBasis: At one point, he refers to Eggman as "Ivo".
* {{Hypocrite}}: When he indirectly chastises his sister Wendy disrespecting the Order of Ixis for galavanting off with their world's Eggman, Coconuts nervously asks if allying with Prime!Eggman means he's pretty much doing the same thing. Walter snarls that, unlike her, the alliance is much less amiable.
* SiblingRivalry: He dislikes his sister Wendy.

-->-- '''Sleet''' to Dingo, ''WesternAnimation/SonicUnderground'', "No Hedgehog is an Island"

The sly and sniveling leader of the bounty-hunting duo hired by Dr. Robotnik to capture Princes Sonic and Manic and Princess Sonia, the children of former ruler of the planet Mobius, Queen Aleena.
\
Sleet isn't exactly used to working under the jurisdiction of a higher-up when it comes to jobs as a bounty hunter. Usually, he's taking the role of top-dog amongst his peers. Being under the watch of Robotnik, however, revealed a layer of cowardice even he didn't know he had!
\
Fear aside, Sleet is the most competent of the duo, often the one coming up with plans to trap the hedgehogs. He feels like his talent of trap-making gets wasted by having Dingo as a partner, though. Sleet'll build a trap/plan, and Dingo'll clumsily ruin it. This often gives Sleet the desire to completely ditch Dingo and nab the bounty for himself, though his hidden appreciation for the big lug keeps him sticking around. It also helps that Dingo makes him feel even smarter just by existing beside him.
\
Sleet also likes to abuse Dingo's hidden shapeshifting ability to his upmost advantage, given a remote by Robotnik that lets him transform Dingo into whatever he feels necessary.
\
With the Robotnik of he and Dingo's dimension finally defeated by Sonic and his siblings, Sleet is starting to feel the brunt of not being as good a bounty hunter as he once was prior to Robotnik's hiring. Teaming up with Eggman Prime seems to be just the perfect window of opportunity — if he can kill Sonic Prime, his dimension's Sonic'll be no more, making him and Dingo the greatest bounty hunters in the multiverse!

----
* AffablyEvil: Like Prime Eggman, he borders on both this and FauxAffablyEvil, usually speaking in a professional tone that fades when he gets annoyed with other people, mainly Dingo, but is also capable of forming friendships, bonding with Orbot over their similar tastes in music (Sleet likes opera, while Orbot likes classical theater).
* AnimeHair: His hair is blue and spiky.
* DeadpanSnarker: He's not above making snide remarks.
* FangsAreEvil: Mostly noticeable when he's grinning.
* FatAndSkinny: With Dingo. Sleet is the skinny one.

-->-- '''Dingo''', ''WesternAnimation/SonicUnderground'', "No Hedgehog is an Island"

The brawn to Sleet the Hunter's brains, Dingo was tasked by the Dr. Robotnik of their dimension to capture the royal hedgehog triplets (Sonic & his siblings, Manic & Sonia… yes, they're royalty in this timeline) and bring them back to Robotnik to turn them into mechanical slaves.
\
Now Dingo may have incredible strength and a scary-looking mug, but he can't seem to escape his dog-like innocence and simple-minded nature. He's not very bright, but like many dogs, he's immensely loyal to his masters and partners, namely Dr. Robotnik & Sleet in this instance. This is unfortunate, because those two couldn't give a darn about him, and often like to use him for all the dirty work.
\
One of the ways in which they like to use him is by shape-shifting him into whatever is currently needed for the mission at hand. Weapons, vehicles, even exact copies of other people to lure Sonic & co. into a false sense of security.
\
All that shapeshifting has left an impact on his body, however. So much so that when in contact with a large amount of Chaos Energy, he transforms into a corrupted abomination, capable of destroying anything in his path.

----
* AlmightyIdiot: At one point, Dingo absorbed a Chaos Emerald and mutated into a enormous blob monster that threatened to destroy the planet.
* TheBrute: The muscle to Sleet's genius.
* ButtMonkey: Constantly suffers any mishaps that happen in the vicinity.
* TheDitz: The least intelligent of the duo, he's only rivaled by Cubot and Grounder.
* DumbMuscle: Strong enough to break through walls, but not very bright.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: He invokes this when his response to the question concerning his VillainousCrush on sixteen year old Sonia and his VagueAge is that he didn't know. Pretty much every villain that isn't Boom!Shadow winces, and even womanizer Scourge mutters, "Yikes."
* FangsAreEvil: Most noticeable when he's grinning.
* ForcedTransformation: Due to him being sensitive to Chaos Energy, he can be transformed by Sleet using the remote control.
* HiddenDepths: He's apparently a good cook, as he revealed that he baked a cherry cake for the Q & A.
* LaughablyEvil: Due to his clumsy nature.
* TopHeavyGuy: His upper half seems to be twice as wide as his lower half.
* VillainousCrush: He has a crush on Sonic's sister Sonia, which, because Sonia is 16, [[EvenEvilHasStandards disgusts practically every other villain in the group]].

-->-- '''Dark Oak''', ''Anime/SonicX'', [[Recap/SonicXS3E23AgentOfMischief "Agent of Mischief" ("The Day of the Plantations")]]

Formerly a soldier of war named Lucas, Dark Oak is actually a member of a species of plant-like creatures from a faraway planet. His enhanced metallic body came to him as an idea to help turn the tide of the war he & his forces were waging against an unknown alien race.
\
The countless casualties of his men & his unwavering desire to keep fighting led to him using he & his soldiers' new bodies to strip their home planet of its life source (known as a 'Planet Egg' amongst his species). The females within Lucas' species hated the idea from the start, including Lucas' family; his wife Earthia, along with his daughters Galaxina & Cosmo, who ordered a nuclear strike on Lucas & his men for their betrayal & corrupted new forms.
\
Lucas & his men survived, however, and with most of his species & homeworld dead (save for his daughter Cosmo, who escaped during the planet's destruction), he took on the name of Dark Oak (based on his skin color prior to the transformation), named the last of his army the Metarex, and vowed to strip the galaxy of all non-plant life. With a galaxy devoid of humans[=/=]humanoids, Dark Oak's twisted version of peace can finally be achieved. Free of war. Free of destruction.
\
In spite of his seemingly noble goal to obtain peace, Dark Oak isn't exactly against using brute force to get what he wants. He'll gleefully take joy in the destruction of all non-plant based organics & cut through them like candy with the help of his Metarex drones. Once finding out that his daughter Cosmo was about to escape their home planet, he forced her to surrender and made her a spy for the Metarex, implanting trackers within his own offspring just so he could get a leg up on Sonic & Co. to ensure they didn't foil his plans.
\
The process behind his Forestation Project is terrifying. Locating the source of the planet's energy, he uproots it, leaving all organic life to die until he can use Chaos Energy to create an endless sea of forests overtop. If any non-plant organics are still alive after stealing the Planet Egg, the Chaos Emeralds' magic will fuse the bodies of any human/humanoid into the ever-growing plantlife, leaving said bodies as withering husks for nature to take over.
----
* AdaptationalComicRelief: In the ''Sonic X'' anime, Dark Oak is a serious and stoic villain, and no joke is ever made at his expense, with his first scene having him [[TheWorfEffect beat Super Sonic in combat]]. Here, he's got enough hamminess to rival that of Eggman himself, his "forestation" goals are played for more ridiculousness, and he's been given a number of BumblingDad traits (which don't even ''begin'' to describe his relationship with Cosmo in the series).
* AdaptationalWimp: Unlike in the anime, where he was introduced beating Super Sonic in a fair fight, here he is also no match for the Super Sonic from the Fleetway universe and well aware of it. The fact that Fleetway!Super Sonic is a bit more, well, evil might factor into it.
* AffablyEvil: He's one of the more courteous members of the group, probably because of his status as a WellIntentionedExtremist.
* AliensAreBastards: Is mainly responsible for the destruction of Cosmo's world after trying to gain power.
* BewareTheSillyOnes: On occasion, he comes off as a lot more goofy than the other villains, but make no mistake, he's still ''beaten Super Sonic in combat''. One of him, at least.
* CharacterExaggeration: His desire to create a plant apocalypse is hammed up ''considerably'' here and turned into a full-on obsession with plant life. The same goes for him viewing his strained relationship with Cosmo as dealing with a rebellious teenager.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Genuinely loves his daughter Cosmo and wants her to rule the galaxy by his side, but sadly for him, the feeling isn't mutual.
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: PlayedForLaughs. Despite being a KnightTemplar ''knowingly'' teaming up with a group mostly comprised of CardCarryingVillain characters, Dark Oak himself fails to realize that his ambitions to perform ''genocide through assimilation'' on all non-plant life has [[{{Understatement}} quite the degree of moral questionability]], hence why he can't grasp Cosmo's reasoning for ditching him as anything more deep than "teenage rebellion".
-->'''Dark Oak:''' I only hope for my Cosmo to feel the same [about my love for her]. But ''no''! Apparently, she's all, "No, Father! Mother was right! You ''are'' a bad seed! I'm going off on an adventure with a group of furry strangers and a hairless rat child on some spaceship, where I can make out with [[InterspeciesRomance my dumb fox]] ''[[InterspeciesRomance boyfriend]]!''" Tch… teenagers.
* EvilSoundsDeep: He has a pretty deep baritone.
* InsaneTrollLogic: Genuinely believes that the best way to spread peace across the galaxy is to [[FinalSolution violently exterminate all non-plant life]].
* InSeriesNickname: Several other characters call him "Darkie" for short.
* KnightTemplar: Dark Oak believes that only plant life is worth any value while everything else in the universe is too flawed. Thus, he seeks to reset everything in order to end all wars and conflict, regardless of how many have to die in the process. Granted, unlike canon, it's all PlayedForLaughs, with even [[CardCarryingVillain Eggman]] and [[BumblingSidekick Coconuts]] quietly realizing how [[InsaneTrollLogic paradoxical]] Dark Oak's ideas are.
* LateArrivalSpoiler: The heavy implication that he's Cosmo's father wasn't made until the last leg of ''Sonic X'', in contrast to how it's made an explicit defining trait here.
* WellDoneDadGuy: "At last, a chance to unveil my plans for galactic conquest, peace, and prosperity to all the multiverse! Maybe then, my daughter Cosmo will finally want to follow her old man's line of work!"

The professed "UltimateLifeForm", known for his competitive streak, brooding nature, and incredible powers granted by Chaos (Crystal) energy. But that's more or less where the similarities end between him and the Shadow the Hedgehog ''you'' may be more familiar with.
\
In contrast to how his "Prime" self is ultimately on the heroes' side despite his similarly lethal nature, [[AdaptationalVillainy this Shadow is far more cruel and sadistic by comparison]], having rejected the ideals of friendship, teamwork, and heroism entirely. While most locals merely view him as a freak who lives alone in a cave, it's speculated that he harbors feelings of betrayal related to a [[MysteriousPast sketchy history]] with his version of Sonic, of which may culminate in the grudge he holds against the blue hedgehog and his friends today. He's undertaken several attempts to prove his superiority to his hated rival in the ages since, one of which involved him willfully endangering his universe's safety just for the sake of revenge.
\
Despite utterly loathing his version of Eggman — and the other villains of his universe — for [[IneffectualSympatheticVillain being too soft]], he's joined Eggman Prime's crew in their plans to erase all versions of Sonic from the multiverse, willing to put up with even their most annoying quirks so long as he can fulfill his desire to put down Sonic and every ideal he stands for.
----
* BerserkButton: Mocking or tricking him ''in any way'' is liable to set him off, and he even performs a Chaos Blast just because of a simple "[[YourMom Jo Mama]]" joke.
* TheComicallySerious: Unlike [[AdaptationalComicRelief Dark Oak]] or [[NoRespectGuy Scourge]], Shadow gets to remain serious, a trait which leads him to deliver the punchline towards everyone else's foolish antics. To give an example from when everybody's discussing their favorite music types:
-->'''Orbot:''' Well, I personally find musical theater to be quite the riveting experience! What about you, Mr. Shadow?\
'''Shadow:''' ''(dead silent as ChirpingCrickets play)''\
'''Scourge:''' [[DeadpanSnarker Good choice, chatterbox.]] Rock for me.
* EvilCounterpart: To prime Shadow, best emphasized in the Q&A with a villainous mirror of Shadow's famous ''[[VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehog2006 Sonic 06]]'' story ending quote:
--> If the multiverse chooses to claim me a villain, then I will fight like I always have.
* EvilIsPetty: His main reason for joining the villain alliance is purely because he considers Sonic's belief in ThePowerOfFriendship to be a sign of weakness.
* TheHermit: He justifies that he couldn't tell that the poor editing of Sonic calling him a "weak, weak, weak windbag" was [[QuoteMine that obvious]], due to him living in a cave for so long away from technology and civilization.
* OnceDoneNeverForgotten: Shadow was once shown a poorly edited video of Sonic dissing him by Eggman so he would attack Sonic and his friends, and Scourge wastes no time in mocking him for falling for it.
* TheRival: To Sonic, although he's far more antagonistic about it, even actively challenging and insulting Sonic for no reason other than to antagonize the blue blur.
* VirtueIsWeakness: He openly views Sonic's reliance on friendship and teamwork as a sign of weakness, joining the villain alliance solely because of this.

Despite ultimately caring for others, she's also a huge SpoiledBrat, but one with a surprising amount of punch to pack. Either way, it's a good idea not to get on her bad side too quickly.
\
Most recently, her Eggman attempted to destroy her home with the intent to rule over the remains with her as his bride, using a new "Hyper Metal Sonic" as his instrument of destruction. Unfortunately for the doctor, the heroes were able to stop it from achieving its purpose, and the data it copied off of Sonic spurred it to sacrifice itself to save the President and an ally of his from a fiery demise.

An incomplete project of Dr. Eggman's from [[VideoGame/SonicForces his last big scheme]], X was a program created through the use of Chaos energy, Eggman's knowledge, and Sonic's bio-data, intended to be a virus that would infect the Resistance's systems and black them out before turning them against their former users.
\
While X was never utilized during the war, it was developed enough to form a personality — and a sadistic one, at that. Using his abilities to lure in unsuspecting victims, he traps them into a digital world of his own creation, playing a "game" with them where they have no chance of survival, and relishing in their pitiful squirming all the way.
\
Eggman's since found X too dangerous and unpredictable to be of any reasonable use, and chose to lock him behind a number of firewalls to make sure he doesn't cause any more trouble. [[TemptingFate Hopefully, that'll work.]]
----
* AdaptationalBackstoryChange: Instead of being an EldritchAbomination who was created in a gap between dimensions, he's an uncompleted ComputerVirus who was created by Eggman and sealed behind a firewall.
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: While he has no less of a [[AGodAmI god complex]], X seems to be more of a mid-to-high-functioning sociopath compared to the ravenous monster he was in the source material, as shown by his more [[FauxAffablyEvil soft-spoken and casual demeanor]] and desire to play the long game through sabotage and trickery, especially compared to the more ravenous and openly AxCrazy Super Sonic.
* CanonForeigner: Unlike the rest of the villains, he's the only one not to originate from any official or licensed Sonic media, instead from a rather infamous fan work.
* ComputerVirus: Seems to be one of these, created by Eggman.
* ControllableHelplessness: X loves doing this to his victims, trapping them in nigh-impossible games before gruesomely killing them.
* DemonicPossession: Enjoys inflicting a technological variation on this towards any robot lacking the processing power to resist his corruption. Complete with SdrawkcabSpeech and [[NightmareFace Nightmare Faces]].
* TheDreaded: Was sealed away behind a firewall by Eggman, for good reason. Once he [[DemonicPossession possesses]] Cubot and Grounder, [[KnightOfCerebus the Q&A video takes a rather dark turn]].
* ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin: He's an ''actual'' executable file in this story.
* FauxAffablyEvil: Despite being a homicidal ComputerVirus, X's limited screentime in the Q&A depicts him as being rather polite and civil with Super Sonic, [[SoftSpokenSadist even while casually discussing the fates of their victims]].
* AGodAmI: Just like in his source material, X possesses a rather noticeable god complex. He briefly yells at the villains when they attempt to restrain [[DemonicPossession the possessed Cubot and Grounder]] that [[BlasphemousBoast they cannot contain God]].
* InformedAttribute: Despite evidently having "developed its own twisted take on Sonic's personality" as per the website's description of him, he doesn't really seem to have anything in common with the blue blur besides his appearance and self-pride. Of course, this is only shown in the Q & A, so these traits could be more prominent in the actual movie.
* KnightOfCerebus: The Q & A takes a '''much''' darker turn once he gets loose.
* {{Leitmotif}}: Music from the video game he hails from.
* MadnessMantra: All of which are backwards recordings said as he possesses Grounder and Cubot.
** When he first possesses Grounder, he goes [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin "Backwards message!"]] over and over.
** When he first possesses Cubot, he goes "An idle mind is the devil's playground. An idle mind is the devil's playground. The end is never. The end is never. The end is never. The end is never."
** Just before he and Fleetway Super Sonic decide to [[CruelTwistEnding have fun]], he lastly sings [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhWfS9SCnJM an off-tune version of "Ragtime Gal"]] though the two dum-bots.
* NotSoAboveItAll: Despite being built up as the Q&A's KnightOfCerebus, he doesn't seem to really pay mind to anything happening around him as he hammily chants about his godhood, decides to use his possession of Grounder to ''pettily bite Sleet like an angry dog'', mocks Dark Oak for his parenting skills, and uses Cubot and Grounder to sing show tunes backwards. ''For thirty minutes.''
* RedOniBlueOni: The blue oni to Super Sonic's red, being calm and collected whilst preferring to rely on sabotage and corruption over more direct attacks.
* VillainousFriendship: Appears to have one with the equally AxCrazy Fleetway Super Sonic.
* WalkingTechbane: His status as a ComputerVirus makes him this, corrupting any electrical device in a radius around him.

Super Sonic, the multiverse-renowned GoldenSuperMode, the good nature of Sonic the Hedgehog channeled into immense magical power thanks to Chaos energy… [[WellThisIsNotThatTrope is not this guy.]]
\
In the [[ComicBook/SonicTheComic "Fleetway Dimension"]], Sonic instead transforms as a result of extreme stress or Chaos energy exposure, turning him into a [[SuperpoweredEvilSide remorseless sadist]] fueled by nothing less than pure, unadulterated evil. The powers he possesses are also more varied than most versions of Super Sonic: super-powered heat vision; the ability to (often fatally) fill others with his Chaos Energy; the power to release a worldwide electromagnetic pulse; and general invincibility. So far, the only thing that ever stopped this Super Sonic from turning his planet into a parking lot was the same time limit he's shared with the multiverse's other Super Sonics, forcing him to turn back into his normal (if grouchy) self when running out of energy.
\
Eggman Prime has recently kidnapped and chained up the "Fleetway Dimension" Sonic in his new battleship. He's wisely made sure not to prod him too much just yet, [[EvilIsNotAToy lest the ticking time bomb blow up in the villains' faces]], but he's clearly looking forward to unleash this Super Sonic on the heroes as a blunt ''and'' sharp object.
----
* AxCrazy: He's a completely psychotic monster who relishes the death and destruction of anyone within ''breathing distance''. Even when he holds back, it's only to prolong the pleasure of killing his victims.
* TheDreaded: Even while in his base Sonic form, Eggman keeps him locked up just in case he gets angry enough to transform.
* EvilBrit: His normal form speaks with an English accent. Fittingly so considering he originated from a British-made comic.
* EvilMeScaresMe: The trailer shows Sonic Prime looking [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness more horrified than is normal for him]] upon seeing Fleetway Super Sonic.
* FangsAreEvil: He's got really sharp teeth.
* HumanoidAbomination: Is this, made of Chaos Energy.
* {{Jerkass}}: He's got Sonic's cocky, immature, and arrogant attitude… with none of his goodness and self-restraint.
* TheJuggernaut: He possesses all of Sonic's powers amped up by a tremendous amount of Chaos Energy.
* PsychopathicManchild: Strangely thinks like an over-energetic child that acts like they're just playing around, such as how he seems to ''genuinely'' express reassurance to the audience about how [[spoiler:the Eggman Empire villains are "only temporarily dead"]], and feels flattered [[LovesTheSoundOfScreaming when they scream]] with a "You guys are the best!" as if he was receiving applause from them.
* RedOniBlueOni: The red to [[spoiler:Sonic.EXE]]'s blue. He's an AxCrazy, power-tripping sociopath who straight-up just wants to murder everything and everyone and has no restraint in doing so.
* SealedEvilInACan: Twice over, he's sealed inside Sonic, who was imprisoned by Eggman.
* ShadowArchetype: He's essentially what would happen if Prime Sonic and the other Sonics allowed the power of Super Sonic to drive them insane and deprive them of their morality.
* TheSociopath: Super Sonic possesses all the traits of a low-functioning sociopath. He is completely incapable of experiencing empathy, incredibly sadistic, destroys and kills everything in his path, commits acts of evil out of boredom, and possesses almost nonexistent impulse control.
* SpikesOfVillainy: His quills are much more jagged and disheveled.
* StoutStrength: Downplayed. While he's pretty much one-to-one Sonic's classic design in proportions, Scourge makes a point of making fun of how round in the belly he is compared to himself and his world's Sonic. That being said, he's also the most dangerous creature amongst the cast because he is, like any other Super Sonic, completely and totally indestructible.
* SuperPoweredEvilSide: To Sonic.
* SuperSpeed: Like every version of Sonic, he has super speed.
* VillainousFriendship: Appears to form one with [[spoiler:Sonic.Exe]], who is just as [[AxCrazy gleefully homicidal]] as he is.
* WingdingEyes: His eyes are spirals that take up the majority of his eyes.

The story of Chaos dates back to a time before Knuckles was born. Thousands of years ago on the mysterious Floating Island (known to its inhabitants as Angel Island), the Echidnas crafted a sound civilization built around the protection of the Chaos Emeralds, powerful gems with magical properties. The Echidna civilization's most valued possession, The Master Emerald, kept the Island afloat with magic, and was safely held within an altar, guarded by the Echidna chief, Pachacamac (Or Pacha for short!) and visited frequently by the chief's daughter Tikal.
\
Surrounding the altar was a lake where the childlike creatures known as Chao often played. One day, a Chao got a bit too close to the Master Emerald, causing the creature to magically transform into the peace-loving being you see above! Born from the Emerald's power and the enchanted lake, this creature acted as a guardian of sorts to the Chao, hidden away by Tikal for fear of it being seen as a monster to the other Echidna. Unfortunately, Tikal's fears manifested on one horrific night.
\
Pacha and his men attacked the creature, giving it the name Chaos, and enraging it until it rampaged all of Angel Island as The God of Destruction. The rage it felt, fused with the Master Emerald's power, turned Chaos into a monstrous abomination. Fortunately, Tikal quelled the beast, sealing it within the Master Emerald where no one could hurt it again.
\
Since then, Chaos has been released by Dr. Eggman once already, causing a massive flood that would've destroyed Earth had Sonic & Co. not stopped him. Chaos is a creature of peace whose power is constantly manipulated by those with villainous intent. And once again, it seems the mad doctor has plans to release the entity and unleash its power with nothing but pure vengeance.
