3	A list of Franchise/{{Pokemon}} who debuted in ''VideoGame/PokemonBlackAndWhite''. At 156 new Pokémon, none of which are related to previous ones, this generation has introduced the most Pokémon of them all. Due to no old Pokémon being present in the story of Black and White, many Pokémon present in previous games--such as Zubat, Geodude, Tentacool, or Machop -- got {{expies}} for this one. In addition, many of the Pokémon here evolve at later levels than most Pokémon from other regions. As a tradeoff, many of them have comparatively stronger (or more specialized) stats, but shallower movepools. As for Legendary Pokémon, these games introduce the now-standard version mascot trio and obligatory regional trio, but eschews the sort of miscellaneous non-event Legendaries seen in the fourth generation in favor of a ''third'' trio--a pair of [[OneGameForThePriceOfTwo version-exclusive]] [[GetBackHereBoss roamers]] and their leader -- and is the second consecutive generation to include four event Legendaries. However, no Pokémon from this generation received Mega Evolutions until ''Omega Ruby'' and ''Alpha Sapphire'' and even then, only Audino received one.
