!Deti Uzhasov
The Four Terrors themselves are not alone in their love and depravity. The Deti Uzhasov, children of the Four Terrors, were born from their relationships with mortals, other deities, and even [[VillainousIncest among themselves]]. Each of them would inherit aspects of their parents' depraved and evil personalities/philosophy, which in turn greatly affected their own characters and divine domains, for good or ill.
----
[[foldercontrol]]

[[folder:General]]
* AbusiveParents:
** Some parents of the Deti Uzhasov were outright abusive to them growing up, in addition to being wicked in general. While a few redeemed themselves, others were damned for eternity upon death for their behavior. This has led to the children the Four Terrors sired with them carrying psychological issues that took them a long time to heal from, especially since Mentálne was not born yet when they were young.
** Subverted with the Deti Uzhasov themselves. As shown with Prince Stækka and Princess Hnignun's raising of their daughter, Duchess Vyléčit, the Deti Uzhasov are loving parents to their own children despite their inner evil and depravity.
* BastardBastard: Many of the Deti Uzhasov had been sired with different people, both divine and mortal, making them half-siblings. Pokhot's family is the most prominent [[ReallyGetsAround due to her embodying Lust]], resulting in scores of divine and demi-divine. It's subverted as while said children are Evil by nature and are rightly feared by mortals for the things they do, they practice "constructive" Evil and serve as testers of mortals so they could make them strong enough to oppose Evil.
* BrotherSisterIncest: Being [[VillainousIncest Evil deities]], many of the Deti Uzhasov have slept with their own siblings, whether they're male or female. Of course, they're also willing to sleep with [[ParentalIncest the Four Terrors themselves]] (as well as grandfather Temnobog). Many children on Temnobog's side of the family are born from these trysts.
* CheerfulChild:
** The youngest members of the Deti Uzhasov, despite being offspring of the [[GodOfEvil Four Terrors]], are still young children who enjoy partaking in fun activities like [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/794345817/4857266248 riding on Upepo's head]]. Thankfully, Upepo's [[BlowYouAway wind magic]] prevents them from falling over.
--> '''Upepo:''' All aboard the S.S. Upepo! Hold on tight, every-creature!\
'''Four Terrors' youngest children:''' Wheeeeeeeeeee!
** [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/909949548/5046630182 They also view Jade Shell as a beloved auntie figure]], often swarming and tackling her in droves whenever she stops by to visit.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Because of their inner evil, the Four Terrors often find themselves attracted to amoral, villainous, and/or depraved characters. This means that in some instances, the Deti Uzhasov end up suffering in some way, usually through AbusiveParents, which gives them lots of psychological baggage that takes a long time for them to recover.
* DeityOfHumanOrigin: Some members start out as [[SemiDivine demi-deities]] due to having one mortal parent, but later Ascend to true godhood through performing various deeds that pertain to their portfolio.
* DepravedBisexual: Zigzagged. Many of Pokhot's children are Evil deities and, depending on their gender, have entered same-sex relationships with both males and females. While they are depraved and hedonistic by nature, they're {{Noble Demon}}s who practice the philosophy of "constructive" Evil, and often act the way they do to punish the damned shades in their hell-fief for crimes related to Pride and Lust. That being said, outside of work, many of them are generally good and affectionate lovers who treat their partners well.
* EmotionEater: Being children of the Four Terrors and grandchildren of Temnobog, many members of the Deti Uzhasov can empower themselves based on how much sin, evil, and vice is in a given area, becoming stronger than they normally would be as a result.
* EvenEvilCanBeLoved: Despite their evil and depraved natures, the Deti Uzhasov can be just as loving and affectionate as their noble relatives/peers and vice-versa, and are capable of holding long-standing relationships with heroic individuals. Knechten and Stoltur are just two examples, with the former dating a mortal female abolitionist (albeit under a secret identity to keep her from discovering his true nature as a god of Slavery), and the latter being HappilyMarried to Blue Suede Heartstrings/King Caerulus Melodia Equestria-Corporatum.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Aside from each other, the Deti Uzhasov are affectionate towards their parents, their infernal relatives, and their infernal grandfather, Temnobog. Their love also applies to Belyolen and his family despite their opposing natures as 'good' deities, as GoodNeedsEvil and the nobility of Belyolen's family tempers their evil nature. And because all of them are descended from a GodOfEvil, they're inherently depraved and lustful, and incest is very common among them.
* EvilNephew: Played with. All of the Deti Uzhasov are [[GodOfGood Belyolen]]'s grandnieces and grandnephews by virtue of being grandchildren of Temnobog, Belyolen's younger identical twin brother and the Bogolenya Deer Pantheon's ruling GodOfEvil. But despite their evil, the Four Terrors' children are {{Noble Demon}}s just like their parents and grandfather, and they practice 'constructive Evil' to ensure the survival of mortal/divine sapientkind. Belyolen also loves his nieces and nephews and treats them all like family the same way he does with Temnobog.
* EvilVersusEvil: Like their parents and grandfather, the Deti Uzhasov are utterly opposed to practitioners of [[ForTheEvulz "careless" Evil]], as it will rage out of control like a wildfire that will destroy everything, including itself, if left to its own devices. Because of this, they are bitter enemies of Hydianites and worshipers of Fallen deities like Ispita, who is their divine grandmother.
* EvilVersusOblivion: As constructively Evil deities and demi-deities, the Deti Uzhasov are utterly opposed to followers of [[ForTheEvulz "careless" Evil]], as their unrestrained depravities would cause the destruction of Good and unnecessary suffering for the sake of Evil and eventually destroy not only Equus, but the surrounding universe and eventually itself.
* GodOfEvil: Zigzagged. Like the Four Terrors themselves, many of the Deti Uzhasov are {{Noble Demon}}s, but are also unapologitically depraved and evil. However, some like Queen Krásná Tradice and Prince Lenost are more moderate in their evil than their infernal siblings/relatives. And then there's how some of them like Stækka are born with domains like Life and Fertility, which are 'good' in concept but [[GoodPowersBadPeople can be used to commit evil when pursued to unfettered extremes]]. Completely subverted with Vykup, who is genuinely good aligned and is believed to have been born as a counterbalance to her father and siblings.
* GoodPowersBadPeople: Some members are born with 'good' domains like Life, Fertility, Hope, and Medicine to show what happens when good concepts are used for evil. This contrast has created confusion for a few like Duchess Vyléčit, who tried being good believing she ''must'' be good due to having good domains, but the mental strain from it nearly broke her.
* HappilyAdopted: As shown with Prince Dühroham Erobreseg, some of the Four Terrors' children (and grandchildren) were adopted, yet were much better off than they were previously.
* HeinzHybrid: Some members, like Cselszövő and Varázsló, were sired by the Four Terrors through non-Deer races, making them triple hybrids.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Some of the Deti Uzhasov from Pokhot's family who bullied Lenost for [[CatsAreLazy not working as hard as them]] also 'worked' by [[TheHedonist participating in carnal depravities]], thus actually making them similar. Pokhot would furiously chew them out for this, and as punishment, she gave Lenost her blessing to [[PayEvilUntoEvil punish his bullying siblings as he saw fit]]. He did just that by cursing them to be so lethargic and apathetic that they couldn't work or enjoy even the smallest pleasures.
* IronicHell: Much like their parents, the Four Terrors, many of them (especially the older members) own and rule over hell-fiefs that are designed to punish damned shades for certain wicked actions that they did in life. For example, Prince Lenost's hell-fief punishes damned shades who indulged in sloth and avoidance, Princes Cselszövő and Varázsló's shared hell-fief punishes damned shades who abused magic for their own ends and ruined innocents with unfettered scheming, etc...
* LaserGuidedKarma: Some of the Deti Uzhasov who bullied/mistreated their brother Lenost for being 'lazy' would receive a furious TheReasonYouSuckSpeech from their mother, Pokhot, who also let Lenost punish them for their actions and hypocrisy. Lenost proceeded to cast a spell on them, leaving the afflicted so lethargic and apathetic that they couldn't muster up the energy to enjoy the carnal depravities they loved. This humiliated Lenost's siblings and forced them to see the error of their actions, and they apologized for Lenost, only for their brother to nurse a grudge against them for a long time. Even after forgiving them thanks to Moon Ray Vaughoof's help, Lenost made it ''very clear'' that he will punish them should they decide to bully him again.
* MeaningfulName: Their group name translates to "children of the terrors" in Russian, literally referring to their status as children (and grandchildren) of the [[GodOfEvil Four Terrors]].
* NecessarilyEvil: Like their parents and grandfather, the Deti Uzhasov follow "constructive" Evil, which has them sowing Evil across the mortal planes so they could weed out the wicked and motivate/test heroes into becoming strong enough to oppose Evil. They see it as their duty to uphold the Balance of Good and Evil that preserves Equus, and those who follow [[ForTheEvulz "diabolical/careless" Evil]] must be destroyed.
* OpposeWhatYouSuffered: Sort of. Many of them sow the very evils that gave them so much grief in their childhoods, though it's because they wanted to protect innocent people from going through the same hardships they themselves did.
* PayEvilUntoEvil: Many of the things the Deti Uzhasov do to the damned shades in their parents and grandfather's hell-realms are rightly horrifying by mortal standards. However, as constructively Evil deities, what they do is necessary so they could provide warnings to mortals in regards to what happens when they fall into sin, and the damned shades themselves are almost always [[AssholeVictim unrepentant people who deserved their punishments]].
* ThePeepingTom: According to [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/665862165/4872943438 one of the Codexverse writers]], it's common for the Deti Uzhasov of Pokhot's line to magically spy on their own family members whenever they participate in carnal, hedonistic depravities. This is shown with Prince Touha, who in one incident used his Lust-based 'observation' spells to spy on his younger brother Prince Stoltur having consensual, tender, and sweet missionary sex with his husband, Blue Suede/Caerulus.
* PrettyPrincessPowerhouse: Many of the Deti Uzhasov's female members hold the title of 'Princess', and they're very attractive. They're also powerful infernal goddesses who the Erobreseg Deer Herds fear, though they're also respected due to their role as constructively evil forces.
* RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil: One of the crimes that the Deti Uzhasov of Pokhot's line covers. Pokhot's entry notes that gangs and packs consisting of her demonic servants and champions often act like rapists and stalkers seeking to violate the damned shades in her hell-fief, echoing how the damned shades themselves did the same to innocent people in life. Pokhot's children would also join in and use the damned shades to satisfy their own lusts and pleasures at their victims' expense.
* ReallyGetsAround: Many of the Deti Uzhasov from Pokhot's line are often as lustful as her, due to their mother embodying Lust and Sex. And like her, they see little difference between work and play. They are also not above sleeping with [[BrotherSisterIncest even their own brothers and sisters]]. While this mostly applies to Pokhot's family, the children of the other Terrors have also proven to be lustful themselves, to varying degrees.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Many of the Deti Uzhasov are Princes and Princesses by virtue of their parents and grandparent(s) being divine royalty. And as "constructive" Evil deities, they serve as divine testers of mortal heroes and champions, while opposing/punishing those who follow "diabolical/careless" Evil.
* SemiDivine: Some members were born demi-deities who later Ascended to true godhood.
* WarriorPrince: Many male members of the Deti Uzhasov hold the title of 'Prince', with the title being more common among Pokhot's sons by virtue of being the children of an infernal 'Empress'. They are powerful and competent gods and warriors in their own right when they're not helping their parents punish the damned shades in their hell-fiefs.

!!!'''Rank:''' Divine (Tier III/Intermediate)
\
Empress Tiānmìng (first introduced [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/914602463/4994446009 here]]) is the Snake goddess of Omniscience, Philosophy, Science, Sorcery, and Understanding, and is the divine adoptive daughter of twin Princes Varázsló and Cselszövő.
----
* AdaptationalHeroism: Jadis from ''Webcomic/KillSixBillionDemons'' was one of the Seven, a group of ruling [[PhysicalGod demiurges]] who [[MultiversalConqueror conquered 111,111 worlds as her own]] and contributed to Throne's CrapsackWorld aspects. She also was extremely ambitious and unfettered to the point where she tried witnessing the Shape of the Universe ForScience, driving her insane and turning her into an insane corpse who could do nothing but whisper prophecies from inside her glass tomb. Once she's out of the glass tomb, she's revealed to be a deeply nihilistic woman who believes nothing matters beyond what is fated to be and that actions are just illusions. Here, Tiānmìng started out similar to Jadis, but she never conquered 111,111 worlds and eventually she does overcome her jaded nihilism after accepting there is more to life than what she could predict. She also follows 'Constructive Evil' and uses her perfect, omniscient knowledge for constructive purpose after establishing her own empire.
* AdaptationSpeciesChange: Jadis from ''Webcomic/KillSixBillionDemons'' was a human woman-turned-[[PhysicalGod demiurge]]. Here, she's a Snake goddess.
* AndIMustScream: When she was encased in a glass tomb by her surviving family, she was assumed to be dead. However, she was discovered to be alive, but driven insane from witnessing the Shape of the Universe. Instead of freeing her and taking care of her, her surviving family proceeded to exploit her newfound omniscient knowledge for their own purposes, turning her into a LivingMacGuffin. Even after outliving her family's dynasty, she continued to remain imprisoned in her glass tomb, whispering prophecies. Understandably, by the time she is freed by Princes Varázsló and Cselszövő, she became an extremely jaded and nihilistic person who believes there is nothing beyond what is fated to be.
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: She's a Snake goddess who embodies Omniscience, Philosophy, Science, Sorcery, and Understanding.
* TheArchmage: She was an extremely talented sorcerous prodigy in her mortal youth, so much that she was able to help develop her family's project in witnessing the Shape of the Universe and complete it. After Ascending to godhood, one of the domains she gained is ''Sorcery''.
* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: She and the rest of her family pursued their goal of witnessing the universe's Shape, believing doing so would give their dynasty incredible honor and power beyond compare -- even immortality and godhood. Due to her prodigious intelligence and other talents, she eventually managed to do so... and ended up going nihilistically insane thanks to being granted constant, perfectly omniscient knowledge. Meanwhile, the majority of her family "ceased to exist", according to her.
* BecauseDestinySaysSo: Because of her perfect omniscience, she believed everything was fated to be and therefore saw no point in doing anything unless it was line with her precognitive visions. As she detailed to Jade Shell, action itself is but an illusion compared to the grand scheme of things. She later accepted there is more to life than what is fated to be thanks to Princes Varázsló and Cselszövő helping her find value in the present, and started using her omniscient knowledge for constructive/pragmatic purposes.
* BenevolentMageRuler: After overcoming her trauma and Ascending to godhood as a goddess of Omniscience and '''Sorcery''', she would go on to establish her own empire where her subjects enjoy a comfortable standard of living and have the opportunity to test her intellectual/philosophical prowess (and be tested by her). Her subjects are in turn devoted to understanding the world around them as she did. However, given that she's now the adoptive daughter of Princes Varázsló and Cselszövő, she devotes her knowledge and talents to constructive/pragmatic evil even though she's regarded as a much better ruler compared to her birth family, who wasted their lives pursuing knowledge to unfettered extremes.
* BlessedWithSuck: Being granted perfect, omniscient knowledge of the universe sounds good on paper, but in trying to pursue it to fulfill her family's ambitions, she learned the hard way that holding such knowledge isn't good ''in practice''. As a result of her omniscience, she became an extremely jaded and nihilistic snake who believed nothing really mattered and who she is as a person doesn't count because everything is fated to be. Being entombed in glass for many years while being treated as an endless source of prophecies by ambitious, unfettered rulers didn't help. It's not until she meets Prince Varázsló and Prince Cselszövő that she starts reconnecting with the present and actually uses her knowledge for constructive purposes, unlike her family.
* BrokenAce: She's an extremely talented prodigy in science, philosophy, and magic, and this is what eventually led to her participating in her family's project to witness the Shape of the Universe. After that, she was driven to nihilistic insanity, believing nothing in life really mattered beyond what was fated to be, and that actions and free will are just illusions. Thanks to Princes Varázsló and Cselszövő and other deities interested in her potential, she comes to accept there's more to life than what she could predict, and started using her knowledge for constructive purposes after Ascending to godhood.
* ChildProdigy: Whether she is this or a TeenGenius, it's known that out of all her ruling family, she showed extremely prodigious talent in philosophy, science, and magic. Being the greatest of them all granted her both the honor and duty of witnessing the Shape of the Universe on behalf of her family... with [[GoMadFromTheRevelation devastating results]].
* DeityOfHumanOrigin: She was a mortal Snake who witnessed the Shape of the Universe and was [[GoMadFromTheRevelation driven insane by what she saw]]. After meeting Prince Varázsló and Prince Cselszövő, she comes to realize there's more to life than what is fated to be and starts learning "true knowledge" under them and various other deities. She eventually Ascends and becomes the Snake goddess of Omniscience, Philosophy, Science, Sorcery, and Understanding.
* EmbodimentOfVice: Subverted. Unlike Jadis, Tianming isn't the embodiment of Sloth and doesn't have it as a domain.
* EmperorScientist: She hailed from a royal Snake dynasty of philosopher-emperors and empresses who saw knowledge as a virtue, but pursued it to unfettered extremes, with [[GoMadFromTheRevelation devastating consequences]] for her. After Ascending to godhood, she proceeds to establish her own kingdom and use her skills and knowledge to improve her subjects' living conditions, as well as test their intellectual/philosophical prowess and punish those who pursued knowledge to wicked, unfettered extremes like her family did. Her subjects are in turn devoted to understanding the world around them as she did.
* TheFatalist: She was initially this due to possessing perfect, omniscient knowledge -- things like actions and free will are nothing but illusions, and there is absolutely no point in doing anything of worth as they are fated to be. Even one's identity (including her own) is nothing compared to the shape of existence itself. She eventually drops her fatalistic outlook once Princes Varázsló and Cselszövő help her find value in the present [[ScrewDestiny beyond her prophetic visions]].
* ForScience: Deconstructed. Being indoctrinated by her royal family to see knowledge as a virtue turned her into an intelligent yet extremely ambitious and unfettered Snake who saw nothing wrong with performing horrible experiments in the name of scientific and philosophical enlightenment. And like the rest of her family, she devoted herself to figuring out ways to witness the Shape, believing its knowledge would grant her family great honor, power, and even immortality and godhood beyond compare. She eventually succeeds, but with [[GoMadFromTheRevelation devastating consequences]], and is ruthlessly and uncaringly exploited afterward by her own family despite them knowing of her terrible condition. After meeting Princes Varázsló and Cselszövő, she comes to realize she and her family wasted their lives pursuing knowledge instead of actually ruling well, and goes on to apply her prophetic knowledge for constructive purposes after Ascending to godhood and establishing her own empire.
* FreudianExcuse:
** Her jaded nihilism came from witnessing the Shape of the Universe in her youth at her family's behest and being driven insane by it, then spending untold aeons as nothing more than a LivingMacGuffin for her family and other ambitious rulers, nobles, warlords, and other similar individuals to exploit. Thankfully, she overcame this when Princes Varázsló and Cselszövő helped her realize there's more to life than what's fated to be.
** Her [[TheUnfettered extremely unfettered worldview]] also came from her upbringing, where she was taught by her family to see knowledge as a virtue and pursue it at all costs. Therefore, she saw nothing wrong with performing horrible, unethical experiments or seeing her immediate family and extended relatives to do the same. This is what led to her driving herself insane as she saw the act of witnessing the Shape of the Universe as just that -- another scientific experiment. To her credit, with Princes Varázsló and Cselszövő's help, she eventually realizes her family wasted their lives on the pursuit of knowledge and proceeded to use her own talents for constructive/pragmatic uses once she becomes Empress of her own empire.
* GodOfEvil: As a Snake goddess, she represents the unfettered aspects of Omniscience, Philosophy, Science, and Sorcery, as well as Understanding (i.e. Understanding as in learning how to use the aforementioned concepts to further their own beliefs and aims). This stems from how her birth family did horrible things in the pursuit of knowledge instead of using their intelligence and skills to actually rule well.
* GoMadFromTheRevelation: Her witnessing the universe's Shape as per her family's wishes granted her perfect, omniscient knowledge, but drove her insane and made her extremely nihilistic. Worse, she was kept sealed in a glass tomb long by her family -- and other ambitious nobles, rulers, and individuals like them -- so they could exploit her prophecies, [[AndIMustScream despite her being still alive]].
* HappilyAdopted: After Ascending to godhood, she gets adopted by Prince Varázsló and Prince Cselszövő as their daughter. Notably, despite her adopters being [[{{Twincest}} twin brothers]], she clearly sees them as much better parental figures than her biological family was to her.
* HeelRealization: Thanks to Princes Varázsló and Cselszövő, she not only realizes there's more to life than knowing what's fated to be, but also both she and her family wasted their lives obsessing over gaining knowledge instead of helping their subjects. This epiphany led to her learning "true knowledge" from various deities, and after Ascending to godhood, she would go on to become a much better ruler than her parents and ancestors ever were.
* ImmortalRuler: She's presently a Snake goddess of Omniscience, Philosophy, Science, Sorcery, and Understanding, and the divine Empress of her own empire.
* LivingMacGuffin: Because she survived witnessing the Shape of the Universe and gained omniscient knowledge from it, everyone exploited her for her nigh-perfect foresight. First was her family, who used her to pass themselves off as oracles to justify their continued dynastic power and sovereignty. Then, after her family's dynasty fell, other ambitious and unscrupulous individuals tried using her foresight to further their own selfish/wicked goals. Her mistreatment partially factored into her jaded nihilism, as she likely predicted how everyone would react to her and her foresight, and resigned herself to the inevitability of being someone else's meal ticket. Fortunately, Princes Varázsló and Cselszövő would help her find value in the present again and realize there's more to life beyond her visions.
* LossOfIdentity: Her witnessing the Shape of the Universe and the sheer knowledge she gained from it caused her to be apathetic to ''everything'', including her own identity. To her, everything was fated to be and therefore mere illusions in the grand scheme of things. She later regains her sense of self after Princes Varázsló and Cselszövő help her find value in the present.
* TheMagnificent: Her title is "Sovereign of the Shape", referring to how she witnessed the Shape of the entire universe and survived, though not without terrible consequences.
* MeaningfulName: Her name translates to "divine destiny" in Mandarin Chinese, which is quite fitting for a Snake goddess who drove herself mad witnessing the Shape of the Universe and later Ascended after realizing there's more to life beyond her prophetic visions.
* PayEvilUntoEvil: Like most constructive evil deities, Tiānmìng punishes those who seek knowledge for evil and destructive reasons.
* ASharedSuffering: What causes her to connect with Princes Varázsló and Cselszövő is the realization that they are also [[TheOmniscient omniscient]] and have [[BlessedWithSuck suffered for it]], just like she has. Them learning to find ways to experience joy by empowering mortals to do things that are beyond even their ability to predict is what gets her out of her funk and find purpose in life again.
* SerpentOfImmortality: She was born a Princess in a royal Snake dynasty whose members pursued knowledge and enlightenment to unfettered extremes. At her family's behest, she tried witnessing the Shape of the Universe in hopes of bringing her family honor, power, and even godhood, but ended up driving herself insane and spending much of her life being exploited by everyone around her. Thanks to Princes Varázsló and Cselszövő, however, she gradually realizes and accepts there's more to life than what is fated to be, and devoted herself to learning "true knowledge" -- after which she Ascends to godhood as a Snake goddess of Omniscience, Philosophy, Science, Sorcery, and Understanding.
* SnakesAreSinister: Empress Tiānmìng was born a Snake Princess to a royal dynasty of philosophical Snake emperors and empresses, and is presently a pragmatic/constructive evil goddess of Omniscience, Philosophy, Science, Sorcery, and Understanding. She was also quite apathetic, jaded, and nihilistic due to witnessing the Shape of the Universe in her youth at her family's behest, then later being exploited for her prophecies by everyone... until Princes Varázsló and Cselszövő helped her find value in the present, after which she became a Snake goddess who applied her omniscience for constructive/pragmatic evil.
* StrawNihilist: Being granted nigh-omniscience caused her to develop a jade and nihilistic outlook on life, the universe and everything for a time since to her everything to her felt deterministic and sapient agency means nothing in the grand scheme of things. This is on top of the exploitation of her seer abilities by her family and other ambitious nobles while she was out of her mind and entombed in glass following her witnessing of the shape of existence.

!!!'''Classification:''' Elemental/Ethereal/Ascendant(?)
!!!'''Portfolio:''' Scheming, Deception, Fate, Hope
!!!'''Rank:''' Divine (Tier III/Intermediate)
\
Prince Cselszövő is the Alicorn-Deer Draconequus god of Scheming, Deception, Fate, and Hope, and is the older identical twin brother of Prince Varázsló.
----
* AbledInTheAdaptation: [[TabletopGame/Warhammer40000 Kairos Fateweaver]] was rendered flightless, wizened, insane, mutated ([[MultipleHeadCase with his head split in two]]) and blind to the present after Tzeentch threw him into the Well of Eternity to gain all knowledge of the future. In contrast, Cselszövő, though somewhat insane, was transformed into an AnimalisticAbomination during his time in the Well of Eternity yet did not become completely insane because of his HeroicWillpower.
* AlmightyIdiot: Subverted. Despite being thrown alongside his brother into the Well of Eternity and [[TheseAreThingsManWasNotMeantToKnow gained knowledge of things that no one should ever know]], he and Varázsló kept themselves from breaking completely with [[HeroicWillpower sheer willpower]] by the time they reemerged from it. The fact that he's still functioning at all is a testament to the strength of his will.
* AlwaysIdenticalTwins: He and his younger brother Varázsló are identical twins, but that isn't apparent at first because they each embody different domains and bear different chimeric animal traits pertaining to their natures. Varázsló has stated that [[TruthInTelevision identical twins can still look different from each other under the right environmental circumstances]].
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: He's a Alicorn-Deer Draconequus god who embodies Scheming, Deception, Fate, and Hope.
* CompositeCharacter: Though he and his brother are based on Tzeentch, he is also somewhat based on Kairos Fateweaver. He embodies Tzeentch's scheming and deceptive aspects, and his backstory of getting thrown into a magical plane/dimension called 'The Well of Eternity' by a depraved knowledge seeker comes from Kairos.
* {{Expy}}: Subverted. While he's based on [[TabletopGame/Warhammer40000 Tzeentch]] from ''WebAnimation/IfTheEmperorHadATextToSpeechDevice'', he's more based on Tzeentch's scheming and deceptive aspects. His backstory of getting thrown into a magical plane/dimension called 'The Well of Eternity' by a depraved knowledge seeker, and coming back from it alive and all-knowing yet insane, was inspired by the story of [[TabletopGame/Warhammer40000 Kairos Fateweaver]].
* GodOfEvil: Specifically, he embodies the amoral and unfettered sides of scheming, deception, fate, and hope. It's subverted as he follows [[NecessarilyEvil constructive evil]] and his role is to punish those who schemed and deceived others solely for their own benefit.
* HeinzHybrid: He's an Alicorn-Deer Draconequus hybrid thanks to his mother being Pokhot, though the identity of his father is debatable. As a result, he's an Alicorn with a Deer's antlers and the chimeric animal traits of a Draconequus.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Being a god of Scheming and Deception, he has no problem with cheating in a card game... but he'll get ''angry'' if others do the same. When Jasper bypasses his manipulations with similarly underhanded tactics and taunts him about it, he falls into a (hilarious) VillainousBreakdown.
* TheMagnificent: Known as "the Schemer of Fate".
* MeaningfulName: His name translates to "schemer" in Hungarian.
* TheseAreThingsManWasNotMeantToKnow: InUniverse, the methods he used to sire children with his twin brother, Varázsló, are [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/859005115/4918983631 kept a heavily guarded secret]] and treated as such by all, save for people they closely trust. [[GoMadFromTheRevelation One extremely curious Lord of Change learned why he shouldn't pry the hard way]].
--> '''Lady of Change:''' We learned long ago not to question where most of Our Majesties' children came from. My predecessor tried... let's just say he retired and took to gardening afterwards.
* {{Twincest}}: It's implied that he and his brother, Varázsló, have an incestuous relationship, which is standard in a family of infernal, depraved deities.
** One incident had a group of Erobreseg Hydianite cultists making the mistake of summoning Varázsló while they were spending a very intimate moment together. [[YouCannotGraspTheTrueForm In their true forms]].
---> '''Erobreseg Hydianites:''' '''''[[GoMadFromTheRevelation AAAAAIIIIIIEEEEEEEE - !!!]]'''''
** A [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/859005115/4918983631 Codexverse drabble]] reveals that he and Varázsló have been siring multitudes of children with [[HomosexualReproduction each other]]. However, the methods they used to achieve this are kept a heavily guarded secret - one Lord of Change tried to learn for himself, [[GoMadFromTheRevelation and was reported to have taken up the life of a humble gardener in Prince Stækka's hell-fief]].
* VillainousBreakdown: Much like Tzeentch from ''WebAnimation/IfTheEmperorHadATextToSpeechDevice'', he ''flips his shit'' when Jasper bypasses his manipulations with underhanded tactics during a card game... [[{{Hypocrite}} despite doing the same thing himself previously]]. It's implied Varázsló was [[BatmanGambit counting on this to happen]] when he suggested to Crimson Star that he beat his brother in a card game in order to [[HumblePie humble him]], knowing that card games are his weakness.
--> '''Prince Cselszövő:''' You cheated! You shot the coin while it was in the air so it stopped spinning somehow!\
'''Jasper:''' 'Cheated,' you say?\
'''Prince Cselszövő:''' That's. Against. The '''''rules!'''''\
'''Jasper:''' What are rules ''really'', though?\

Prince Varázsló (his entry [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Codex-Equestria-Deities-and-Divines-Part-54-859005115 here]]) is the Alicorn-Deer Draconequus god of Magic, Knowledge, Fate, and Hope, and is the younger identical twin brother of Prince Cselszövő.
----
* AbledInTheAdaptation: [[TabletopGame/Warhammer40000 Kairos Fateweaver]] was rendered flightless, wizened, insane, mutated ([[MultipleHeadCase with his head split in two]]) and blind to the present after Tzeentch threw him into the Well of Eternity to gain all knowledge of the future. In contrast, Varázsló, though blind ([[EyeScream self-inflicted]]) and somewhat insane, was transformed into an AnimalisticAbomination during his time in the Well of Eternity yet did not become completely insane because of his HeroicWillpower. Varázsló also has some skill in physical combat, unlike Kairos who is pretty useless in a direct fight due to his condition.
* AlmightyIdiot: Subverted. Despite being thrown alongside his brother into the Well of Eternity and [[TheseAreThingsManWasNotMeantToKnow gained knowledge of things no one should ever know]], he and Cselszövő kept themselves from breaking completely with [[HeroicWillpower sheer willpower]] by the time they reemerged from it. The fact that he's ''somewhat'' insane is a testament to the strength of his will.
* AlwaysIdenticalTwins: He and his older brother Cselszövő are identical twins, but that isn't apparent at first because they each embody different domains and bear different chimeric animal traits pertaining to their natures. Varázsló has stated that [[TruthInTelevision identical twins can still look different from each other under the right environmental circumstances]].
* AnimalisticAbomination: Being thrown into the Well of Eternity by the Knowledgeable Sorcerer and saved by [[TheOldGods Tuzu, the Magic Primeval]] turned both him and his brother into incredibly eldritch gods. In his case, his true form vaguely resembles an Alicorn-Deer-Draconequus hybrid whose body and chimeric traits constantly distort and shift to show bits of what he had been and what he could’ve been, along with everything in-between. His butterfly wings are mirrors that show multiple future visions of the person(s) looking into them, like a crowd staring at a single person from the otherside of a window. His mane and tail frequently break into sparkling orbs that show moving images of various futures and realities, both good and bad. And because he's blind, all of his eyes in his true form are holes that, when looked into, will reveal the dark expanse of space, filling the looker(s) with an existential dread. Anyone who is not an older deity has to wear 'Perception Filter' glasses to protect themselves from insanity when interacting with him while he's in his true form.
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: He's an [[HeinzHybrid Alicorn-Deer Draconequus]] god who embodies Magic, Knowledge, Fate, and Hope.
* TheArchmage: Because he was thrown into the '[[EldritchLocation Well of Eternity]]' as a young foal, he was given a ''massive'' power boost, turning him into one of the most powerful sorcerers of the Bogolenya Deer Pantheon. While his powers and capabilities are the same as Kúzelník's, he leans towards psionic magic and was tutored in Malrègnarian dark magic by Vicearch Iniquitous. And through his other domains, he can do things like mess with people's memories, perceive multiple futures and alternate timelines/dimensions, bind people to fates (or make them immune to fate), and [[RealityWarper warp reality]]. However, because he was never able to properly grow into his power, he's UnskilledButStrong, which both Kúzelník and Golden Scepter are helping him overcome.
* BestServedCold: After spending some time recovering from psychological trauma inflicted by both his childhood abuse and his time in the [[EldritchLocation Well of Eternity]], he finally gets his chance for revenge when Pokhot transfers the now-powerless damned shade of the Knowledgeable Sorcerer to his and his brother's shared hell-fief, on whom he proceeds to inflict every horrible fate imaginable.
* BlindSeer: Justified. After surviving being thrown into the Well of Eternity, and finding himself constantly assailed by maddening psychic visions on top of PTSD-fueled nightmares, he [[EyeScream took out all of his eyes]] (one of his chimeric traits is a spider's [[ExtraEyes eight eyes]]) in hopes the visions would stop. They didn't, as being blind ''increased'' his visions. This is what partially influenced him to experiment with alternate timelines and dimensions so he could understand his own existence and find ways to improve his own life. And as a god of Fate, he has extremely powerful precognitive sight and can [[WindsOfDestinyChange manipulate fate]] at will, to the point where he can perceive even alternate realties born from all possible choices a person can make. Unfortunately, his disability makes him literally and figuratively to the ''present'', so anyone who can [[ScrewDestiny defy fate itself]] in some way can throw him off.
* BlowYouAway: One branch of magic granted by his Magic domain is air magic.
* BrownNoteBeing: Justified. Spending time in the [[EldritchLocation Well of Eternity]], and being transformed into [[AnimalisticAbomination eldritch gods]] by Tuzu, the Magic Primeval to protect them, caused him and his twin brother to become this. His mere presence can inflict insanity on anyone who aren't older deities, and his eyes are holes filled with dark space that cause people to feel an existential dread when looked into. As a result, people have to wear 'Perception Filter' glasses around him whenever he's in his true form.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Justified. Being thrown into the Well of Eternity alongside his brother, as well as being transformed into an eldritch god by [[TheOldGods Tuzu]] to protect him, made him GoMadFromTheRevelation. And because of his insanity, he perceives things differently from even fellow deities, and goes into odd, philosophical tangents at random. He's also easily distracted, and his [[{{Seers}} psychic visions]] make it difficult for him to discern the difference between them and reality; it's common for people in his shared hell-fief to hear him muttering and/or screaming prophecies frequently. The fact that he's now ''somewhat'' mad is a testament to his [[HeroicWillpower strong will]]. Mentálne's birth finally gives him the opportunity to overcome, or at least regulate, his worst eccentricities, flaws, and impulses.
* CombatClairvoyance: His precognitive sight allows him to predict when to avoid attacks and when to strike. Unlike Kairos Fateweaver, though, he actually has some skill in physical combat.
* CompositeCharacter: Though he and his brother are based on Tzeentch, he specifically embodies Tzeentch's magical and knowledgeable aspects. His being an unparalleled [[{{Seers}} Seer]], and his backstory of getting thrown into a magical plane/dimension called 'The Well of Eternity' by a depraved knowledge seeker, comes from Kairos Fateweaver.
* CurbStompBattle:
** Due to spending some time in the [[EldritchLocation Well of Eternity]], Varázsló was rendered so powerful and all-knowing that he could easily trounce much of the Bogolenya Deer Pantheon in a fight. This proved to be detrimental to his infernal family when they got concerned with his clandestine dimensional/chronal research, but couldn't confront him directly.
** Shortly after, Varázsló himself would be easily subdued by Golden Scepter, who was brought in at Belyolen's behest, by virtue of being vastly older, more powerful, and more experienced than even him. This also allowed Golden Scepter to utterly destroy Varázsló's dimensional/chronal research with little trouble in order to snap him out of his obsession with future possibilities.
* CreepyTwins: With his older brother, Prince Cselszövő. They're identical twins ([[TruthInTelevision though that's not apparent at first glance due to various traits that differentiate them]]), but they're also [[AnimalisticAbomination eldritch gods]] who were driven insane by their horrible childhood and sadistic, depraved individuals who had no problem with abusing others for their sorcerous pursuits and/or personal amusement. Granted, much of their victims are [[AssholeVictims the damned shades living in their shared hell-fief]], but it still makes their behavior no less horrifying.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: He and his older brother, Prince Cselszövő, were horribly abused as children by 'The Knowledgeable Sorcerer', the closest they had to a father-figure. Initially subjected to torturous arcane experiments, they were thrown into an eldritch plane called 'The Well of Eternity' by the Knowledgeable Sorcerer, who wanted to learn the Well's secrets without compromising himself. Thanks to [[TheOldGods Tuzu]]'s intervention, he and Cselszövő survived the ordeal and came back as [[AnimalisticAbomination eldritch gods]], but were driven insane. In his case, he once tried ''[[EyeScream ripped all his eyes out]]'' just to make his precognitive visions stop, but it only ''increased'' them. He later tried conducting experiments involving alternate timelines/dimensions where he and Cselszövő lived happier lives so he could [[SetRightWhatOnceWentWrong learn how to improve his own situation]], but that not only brought him into conflict with his family, but also Golden Scepter, who dealt with him and destroyed his chronal/dimensional research at Belyolen's behest. Seeing all his work come to nothing and being robbed of a chance to understand his situation left him such a despondent, sobbing wreck that Golden Scepter came to [[SympathyForTheDevil pity him]].
* DeityOfHumanOrigin: Maybe. It's unknown whether he and his brother were [[SemiDivine demigods]] or full-blooded divines, but it's likely the twins are ''far'' older than their "Titan" rank suggests due to being thrown into the [[EldritchLocation Well of Eternity]], and being transformed into eldritch deities by Tuzu to protect them.
* DisabledDeity: He's blind, and it was self-inflicted - when he was younger, he and his twin brother Cselszövő were thrown into the [[EldritchLocation Well of Eternity]], which in part gave them both incredible knowledge and power, but drove them insane. He in particular was so tormented by the psychic visions he would constantly receive that he desperately tore out ''all of his eight eyes'' just to make the visions stop... except it didn't work because being blind now meant the potency of his visions increased. He has since learned to live with it, but it's common for people in his hell-fief to hear him [[MadOracle screaming/muttering random prophecies]].
* DishingOutDirt: One branch of magic granted by his Magic domain is earth magic.
* EldritchLocation:
** The hell-fief he shares with his brother Cselszövő, is essentially described as being "extremely weird". [[RealityIsOutToLunch Physics and conventional logic are thrown out the window]], and the environment [[AlienGeometries constantly changes to add new angles and dimensions that shouldn't exist]], which comes with the consequences of the place becoming more or less dangerous depending on the twin rulers' whims. The palace they live in is no better - rooms come and go, and some sections are actually [[BiggerOnTheInside bigger than their appearances suggest]], going on forever in a few occasions. Some Bogolenya Deer gods and goddesses have reported getting lost in the palace, but fortunately for them, it doesn't last. Damned shades, however, get it ''much'' worse.
** He and Cselszövő themselves once ended up in one as children. After the Knowledgeable Sorcerer discovered the Well of Eternity, an eldritch plane/dimension that (supposedly) holds all knowledge of the universe, he threw the twins inside so he can discover the Well's secrets without compromising himself. This led to the twins being found by [[TheOldGods Tuzu, the Magic Primeval]], who transformed them into [[AnimalisticAbomination eldritch gods]] to protect them before sending them back to their grieving mother, Pokhot. While this saved their lives, both he and his brother were left powerful and all-knowing, yet driven insane by their physical and psychological transformation.
* TheEmpath: Being a skilled user of [[PsychicPowers Psionic magic]] automatically gives him empathic abilities. His Hope domain also gives him empathy to sense and encourage hope in others.
* EvilCounterpart:
** To Dr. Endless Dreams. Both Varázsló and Endless Dreams were once innocent people who were irrevocably changed into eldritch deities thanks to the selfish, destructive ambitions of others, driving them insane. However, Endless Dreams chose to stay heroic despite the bad hoof she was dealt, and sees mortal sapientkind as [[HumansAreSpecial small yet powerful, creative, and intelligent creatures]]. Varázsló, on the other hand, chose to become a punisher of the wicked and delights in inflicting existential dread onto the damned shades in his hell-fief, making them see they're [[PunyEarthlings nothing but gnats in the grand scheme of things]]. Despite their differences, they became friends [[ASharedSuffering due to how similar they are]], which is what Golden Scepter intended so Varázsló can snap out of his obsession with what could've been and improving his own life via chronal/dimensional experiments.
** To Prince Crimson Star. They're both (demi-)divine Princes with powerful magics/psionics at their command and a voracious desire to learn, and they both share the same Knowledge domain. They're also blind, though in Varázsló's case, it was [[EyeScream self-inflicted]]. Varázsló represents what would happen if Crimson Star were to let his thirst for knowledge and arrogance grow to destructive degrees, with the former specializing in punishing wicked sorcerers and other magic-casters who discarded their own morals in the pursuit of knowledge/power and/or used their power to abuse others.
* {{Expy}}: Subverted. While he's based on [[TabletopGame/Warhammer40000 Tzeentch]], he's more based on [[DecompositeCharacter Tzeentch's magical and knowledgeable aspects]]. His backstory of getting thrown into a magical plane/dimension called 'The Well of Eternity' by a depraved knowledge seeker, and coming back from it alive and all-knowing yet insane, was inspired by the story of Kairos Fateweaver, another ''Warhammer 40,000'' character.
* ExtraEyes: Because he's part-Draconequus through Pokhot (and Phykti if true), he has the eight eyes of a spider. However, he [[EyeScream blinded himself in all eyes]] in a fit of madness when he wouldn't stop receiving psychic visions. This resulted in his eyes becoming holes that show the dark expanse of space when looked at, filling the looker(s) with an existential dread.
* EyesAlwaysShut: Justified; because he's blind, his eyes are always closed. This only applies to his default forms, though - in his [[AnimalisticAbomination true form]], his eyes are [[EyelessFace holes]] full of space that make people feel an existential dread when looked into.
* EyelessFace: Because he blinded himself in all eyes in a futile attempt to stop receiving psychic visions, his true eldritch form now has holes for eyes that, when looked into, show the dark expanse of space and fill the looker(s) with an existential dread.
* FaintInShock: He fainted in shock upon learning the one who rescued him and his twin brother from the 'Well of Eternity' was none other than [[TheArchmage Tuzu]], the leader of the [[TheOldGods Grand Primevals]].
--> '''Prince Varázsló:'''' The creature who saved us back then, the one who I kept dreaming about... That was one of the Grand Primevals?!
* FreudianExcuse: Much of his insane behavior and other eccentricities come from his horrible childhood living with an extremely abusive SorcerousOverlord, and being thrown into the '[[EldritchLocation The Well of Eternity]]' alongside his twin brother. It's deconstructed as while his backstory is indeed horrifying and sympathetic, it still didn't justify his actions -- he became emotionally detached from his family under the belief they didn't understand his suffering, and later conducted clandestine experiments to [[SetRightWhatOnceWentWrong improve his own terrible situation]] at the expense of the various timelines and dimensions he studied. Having his research destroyed by Golden Scepter left him a despondent wreck, but meeting Dr. Endless Dreams afterward forced him to acknowledge that [[NotSoDifferentRemark he was becoming like his abuser]] and he can choose to not let his past define him.
* GodOfEvil: Specifically, he embodies the amoral and unfettered sides of magic, fate, knowledge, and hope. It's subverted as he follows [[NecessarilyEvil constructive evil]] and his role is to punish those who pursed magic and knowledge to extremes, and exploited the fates and hopes of others for their own benefit.
* GoMadFromTheIsolation: Implied to be a factor in his and Cselszövő's insanity. After being thrown into the Well of Eternity, they stayed in there for an unknown amount of time with just each other for company, before Tuzu found the twins, transformed them into eldritch gods to protect them, and sent them home to Pokhot. The entire experience drove them insane, though it's noted they were ''lucky'' -- others who went before them had died upon entering the Well of Eternity.
* GoMadFromTheRevelation: He UsedToBeASweetKid who was passionate about learning, but being thrown into the [[EldritchLocation Well of Eternity]] left him somewhat insane from the sheer amounts of knowledge and magic he and his brother absorbed into themselves. Now it's common for him to be heard [[MadOracle screaming/muttering prophecies]] and going on odd, philosophical tangents at random, among other things.
* HarmfulToMinors: When he and Cselszövő were young, they were horribly abused by the Knowledgeable Sorcerer, who may or may not have been their biological father. This culminated in both of them being thrown into the Well of Eternity so the Knowledgeable Sorcerer could study its secrets without compromising himself. They came back alive thanks to [[TheOldGods Tuzu]]'s intervention, but they became divine {{Animalistic Abomination}}s who are extremely powerful and all-knowing, yet their experiences drove them mad. According to Varázsló, he and his brother were a few years older than Crystal Prism (then known as Page Wheel when he Ascended) when it happened.
* HeinzHybrid: He's an Alicorn-Deer Draconequus hybrid thanks to his mother being Pokhot, though the identity of his father is debatable. As a result, he's an Alicorn with a Deer's antlers and the chimeric animal traits of a Draconequus. However, his eldritch nature makes that unclear because his chimeric traits and overall appearance are constantly shifting.
* HeroicWillpower: Despite being thrown into a magical plane/dimension that (supposedly) holds all the secrets and knowledge of the universe, he and his brother not only managed to survive, but also reemerge from it as eldritch deities with most of their sanity intact. For context, many magic users of various professions have tried entering the Well of Eternity over the course of history, but very few have survived.
* HomosexualReproduction: It's heavily speculated InUniverse that he and Cselszövő were born when Phykti, [[GodInHumanForm under the guise of 'The Cruel Sorcerer']], slept with Pokhot while the latter was disguised as a SexSlave for a tyrannical ruling cabal of sorcerers. This would make Phykti both their mother and father if true, but the fact that the twins were born Alicorn-Deer Draconequui muddles the theory a bit.
* {{Hypocrite}}: He believes that fate is a concept that can be defied or even broken, and encourages people to do so. He also has been known to play pranks on fate-obsessed individuals by making someone ImmuneToFate and siccing said person on them. Yet he also has no qualms of binding others to malicious fates that always occur no matter what they do. It's justified; his main job involves punishing the wicked for messing with fate and/or binding others to malicious prophecies themselves, so acting like BecauseDestinySaysSo is part of his job description.
* ImmuneToFate: As a god of Fate, he can [[NoSell break fates]] by 'denying' them. This by virtue makes him immune to fate in general. He can also magically make someone, usually a hero, immune to fate, which grants them protection from certain events. It's one of his favorite ways of playing pranks on malicious individuals/groups that are [[BecauseDestinySaysSo utterly obsessed with fate and prophecy]] (or wield powers related to them).
* InsufferableGenius: One of his flaws is that, owing to him being a divine academic, he can be insufferably arrogant and opinionated at times. Though this is regulated by the presence of his more noble relatives and friends.
* JerkassRealization: He eventually realizes, through his interactions with Dr. Endless Dreams and the [[Fanfic/ChildrenOfAnElderGod Elder Quintumvirate]], that his horrific past still doesn't excuse the cold way he was treating his family, including his mother, Pokhot, whom he previously blamed for not protecting him and his twin brother from their abusers. Having acknolwedged his mother did the best she could at the time, he would apologize to Pokhot and the rest of his family, and has been making efforts in being closer to his family since then.
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: Invoked. As a god of Knowledge, he can inflict this on others by editing their mental information. Unlike many Knowledge deities, who are decidedly benevolent, he has no qualms of doing this.
* LifesWorkRuined: He started researching alternate dimensions and timelines so he can find ways to improve his own life after having it utterly ruined by the Knowledgeable Sorcerer's unfettered ambitions for power and knowledge. However, in the process, he alienated his family, who were forced to bring in Golden Scepter after he proved himself [[CurbStompBattle too powerful to fight on their own]]. When Golden Scepter defeats him and destroys his research, he desperately tries to salvage it, only to find it's destroyed ''utterly'' and everything he did was for nothing. He [[VillainousBreakdown breaks down sobbing]] afterwards, with a sympathetic Golden Scepter comforting him.
* LivingBattery: According to his demonic servants and champions, mages and sorcerers with particularly powerful magic are used as 'living batteries' to power various technologies in his hell-fief. This might be connected to how amoral/wicked magic users use both non-sapient and sapient creatures as fodder for their own experiments.
* {{Lobotomy}}: Invoked. As a god of Knowledge, he can essentially lobotomize people by scrambling their minds and/or mental processes, inflicting LaserGuidedAmnesia, or making them forget even how to walk or talk. His great power as a deity allows him to do this ''on a wider scale''. Unlike many Knowledge deities, who are decidedly benevolent, he has no qualms of doing this.
* MadGod: After being thrown into the 'Well of Eternity' by the Knowledgeable Sorcerer and transformed into an eldritch god by Tuzu to protect him, he is now somewhat insane. His vast knowledge makes him perceive things differently than even fellow divines, which makes him easily distracted and prone to going on odd, philosophical tangents at random. His psychic visions make it hard for him to separate them from reality, and it's very common for peopel to hear him muttering or screaming prophecies frequently. Being forced to bear a large portion of knowledge and magic of the universe also made him incredibly serious and [[TheStoic stoic]]. What keeps him from becoming completely mad is his strong will, which is likely how he survived being in the Well of Eternity for an unknown time. Fortunately, both Kúzelník and Golden Scepter have been helping him control his powers, and Mentálne is helping him overcome (or at least control) his worst flaws and impulses.
* MadOracle: After being thrown into the Well of Eternity and coming back an [[AnimalisticAbomination eldritch god]], he now mutters and/or screams any prophecy he receives to the point where it became a common occurrence in his shared hell-fief. This is because, while in the Well of Eternity, he absorbed so much knowledge and power that he was driven insane. The fact that he's not ''completely'' insane is a testament to the strength of his HeroicWillpower.
* MagicHair: The navy-blue mane and tail of his [[HumanoidAbomination default forms]] resemble a dark, rippling galaxy with twinkling stars. In his [[AnimalisticAbomination true form]], his mane and tail frequently break into sparkling orbs that show moving images of various futures and realities, both good and bad.
* MagicStaff: His staff, ''Sorsszövő'', allows him to channel and control his great magical power to finer degrees, as well as [[RealityWarper bend reality itself]] on even larger scales. It also serves as his guiding stick, since he's blind.
* TheMagnificent: Known as "the Sorcerer of Knowledge", due to being a god of Knowledge as well as an extremely powerful and intelligent sorcerer who holds knowledge of all that could be, all that had been, and everything in-between.
* MakingASplash: One branch of magic granted by his Magic domain is water magic.
* MeaningfulName:
** His name translates to "sorcerer" in Hungarian. He's a god who embodies the horrific, unfettered aspects of Magic, Knowledge, and Fate, and he's considered InUniverse to be [[TheArchmage one of the most powerful sorcerers of the Bogolenya Deer Pantheon]] in terms of sheer raw power.
** His MagicStaff is called ''Sorsszövő'', which translates to "fate-weaver" in Hungarian. It's also a [[ShoutOut reference]] to [[TabletopGame/Warhammer40000 Kairos]]' most-known title, "Fateweaver".
* NotSoAboveItAll: Unlike his scheming twin brother, Cselszövő, he's usually stoic and serious because of the burden of holding such vast power and knowledge, and at times he can be [[InsufferableGenius insufferably arrogant and opinionated]]. However, he is a bit of a prankster himself, with one of his favorite pranks being making a hero ImmuneToFate and then siccing them on villains obsessed with fate and prophecy.
* NotSoDifferentRemark: Through meeting Dr. Endless Dreams and the [[Fanfic/ChildrenOfAnElderGod Elder Quintumvirate]] and learning of what they went through, he realizes he became little better than the 'Knowledgeable Sorcerer' whose dimensional research directly caused his and his brother's transformations into [[AnimalisticAbomination eldritch dieties]]. It also makes him [[JerkassRealization realize how badly he was treating his own family]], spurring him to patch things up with them.
* PayEvilUntoEvil: Sometime after receiving his own hell-fief (which he now shares with his twin brother Cselszövő), he would have a damned shade transferred to his hell-fief by Pokhot for him to torment. That damned shade is none other than the Knowledgeable Sorcerer, who was rendered completely powerless by Pokhot upon death. He proceeds to pay back the Knowledgeable Sorcerer for all the abuse he and his brother suffered, such as turning the damned shade into an unwilling thrall to use in his own sorcerous pursuits.
--> '''Prince Varázsló:''' Hello, you pathetic, magic-less swine.\
'''The Knowledgeable Sorcerer:''' [[OhCrap Oh no...!]]\
'''Prince Varázsló:''' Remember me? The foal you worked like a dog and then threw into the Well of Eternity alongside his brother?\
'''The Knowledgeable Sorcerer:''' [[RapidFireNo No no no no no no!]]\
'''Prince Varázsló:''' You cannot escape. Not like how I did. You will pay for your crimes, you good-for-nothing.\
'''The Knowledgeable Sorcerer:''' Please! Please don't hurt me! I-I'll do anything!\
'''Prince Varázsló:''' I know you will. In fact... you will do everything my brother and I tell you to. '''''[[AndIMustScream Forever.]]'''''
* PlayingWithFire: One branch of magic granted by his Magic domain is fire magic.
* PsychicPowers: While his Magic domain grants him accessibility to multiple different branches of magic, he has a strong inclination towards psionic magic in general. His Knowledge and Hope domains give him additional telepathic and empathic powers, and his Fate domain makes him a strong precognitive.
* ScrewDestiny: Thanks to the positive influence of Dr. Endless Dreams and the Elder Quintumvirate, he developed the belief that fate itself can be defied or even broken. Notably, one of his favorite pranks involves making someone ImmuneToFate and siccing them on villains who are obsessed with fate/prophecy. That being said, [[{{Hypocrite}} he has no problem with binding others to malicious prophecies himself]]... though that's because his job is punishing wicked souls who did the same thing in life.
* SetRightWhatOnceWentWrong: Implied to be a reason why he tried researching alternate timelines and worlds. By finding and studying worlds where he and his twin brother lived different yet happier lives, Varázsló could perhaps find a way to [[DesperatelyLookingForAPurposeInLife understand his existence]] and improve his own life. It's deconstructed as by tampering with dimensions and timelines, Varázsló became increasingly similar to the Knowledgeable Sorcerer, who abused him and his brother and was responsible for physical/psychological transformation in the first place. When his experiments caught the attention of his family, Belyolen had to bring in Golden Scepter, knowing his friend had the power to subdue his wayward nephew and prevent him from going down a dark path. Golden Scepter succeeds, and though Varázsló was deeply affected from losing his work, he eventually accepts he could still take control of his life regardless of the bad hoof he was dealt, especially after he was introduced to Dr. Endless Dreams and the Elder Quintumvirate.
* SexSlave: His entry notes he has no qualms about magically enslaving others to his will and forcing them to perform degrading tasks, such as pleasuring him when he wants to satisfy his lusts. However, he only does this to punish those damned shades who did the same thing to others in life. Ironically, both he and his brother were born to a sex slave (albeit a goddess disguised as one at the time).
* ASharedSuffering:
** He ends up befriending Dr. Endless Dreams and her adoptive children, the [[Fanfic/ChildrenOfAnElderGod Elder Quintumvirate]], over how they were transformed into eldritch deities thanks to outside forces who used them as pawns. This is invoked by Golden Scepter, who wanted Varázsló to snap out of his obsession with alternative realities by having him develop empathy for others.
** He also developed sympathetic interest in Crystal Prism, who became an Alicorn demigod in part thanks to [[MadScientist Noble Grace and Bubbling Beaker]]'s experiments. Because Crystal Prism is a demigod, he is interested in bringing out the former's potential.
* SilverHasMysticPowers: Subverted. He usually wears silver barding along with scholarly robes, but the barding itself isn't magical. However, he is, owing to him being a god of Magic and a sorcerer powerful enough to rival his great-uncle, Kúzelník, himself a prodigious god of Sorcery.
* SlaveryIsASpecialKindOfEvil: Some of his punishments for the damned involve the enslavement of others, usually wicked sorcerers and other magic users, for doing the same thing in life. Damned shades are turned into unwilling thralls and forced to serve as either oft-abused and/or sacrificed assistants, test subjects for extremely horrific magical experiments, lowly janitors who struggle to look after his extremely vast libraries (including cleaning up any messes left behind), or {{Sex Slave}}s to pleasure him whenever he wants to satisfy his lusts. Being turned into a LivingBattery to power various magical technologies is not unheard of, especially for the damned shades of particularly powerful sorcerers. Varázsló, being a god of Fate, also has no problem with enslaving damned shades to fate itself, as shown with his punishments of being doomed to suffer horrible fates no matter what they do.
* SorcerousOverlord: He is a Prince and an extremely powerful god of Magic who co-rules his hell-fief alongside his older brother, Cselszövő. And like many of his infernal family members, he's a sadistic and depraved individual who sees nothing wrong with enslaving others to use for his sorcerous pursuits, inflicting existential dread on them, and making them suffer various horrible fates that are certainly worse than death. However, as a '[[NecessarilyEvil constructive Evil]]' god, he only directs this behavior towards the [[AssholeVictim damned shades]] in his hell-fief.
* TheStoic: Justified. Being thrown into the Well of Eternity and forced to bear the knowledge and magic of the universe (or at least a huge part of it) has left him incredibly serious and stoic. Despite this, [[NotSoAboveItAll he has a penchant for pranks, especially when they involve screwing over villains who are obsessed with fate and prophecy]].
* SympathyForTheDevil: On the receiving end. Despite having to destroy his dimensional/chronal research, Golden Scepter ends up pitying him because of the circumstances that utterly twisted him and ruined his life, which drove him to such extremes in the first place. And when he [[VillainousBreakdown starts sobbing]] upon realizing his research had been completely destroyed, Golden Scepter puts a solemn hoof on his shoulder.
* {{Telepathy}}: Being a skilled user of [[PsychicPowers Psionic magic]] automatically gives him telepathic abilities. His Hope domain also gives him telepathy to sense and encourage hope in others.
* TheseAreThingsManWasNotMeantToKnow: InUniverse, the methods he used to sire children with his twin brother, Cselszövő, are [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/859005115/4918983631 kept a heavily guarded secret]] and treated as such by all, save for people they closely trust.
* TragicVillain: Though a constructive villain like his family, he and his older twin brother were horrifically abused and exploited by the Knowledgeable Sorcerer who raised them (and may or may not be their biological father). Then they were thrown into the '[[EldritchLocation Well of Eternity]]' by the Knowledgeable Sorcerer after he started looking into dimensions; they were fortunately rescued by [[TheOldGods Tuzu, the Magic Primeval]], but their time in the Well of Eternity left them both insane -- in his case, he was so traumatized that he ''blinded himself'' to make his psychic visions stop, then started researching alternate dimensions/timelines in hopes of finding a way to improve his own life. In the process, he alienated his family, who were forced to bring in Golden Scepter to stop him since he's too powerful for them to confront on their own. When Golden Scepter destroys his research, he desperately hopes he could salvage some of it... then breaks down sobbing once he realizes everything really was destroyed and all his work had been for nothing. Even Golden Scepter [[SympathyForTheDevil pities him]] for the horrible circumstances he had to suffer through.
* {{Troll}}: Cultura outright calls him this. One of his favorite pranks involves screwing over villains who are [[BecauseDestinySaysSo obssessed with fate and prophecy]], usually by making a hero ImmuneToFate so they can't be bound to any fate or prophecy.
* {{Twincest}}: It's implied that he and his brother, Cselszövő, have an incestuous relationship, which is standard in a family of infernal, depraved deities.
** One incident had a group of Erobreseg Hydianite cultists making the mistake of summoning Cselszövő while they were spending a very intimate moment together. [[YouCannotGraspTheTrueForm In their true forms]].
---> '''Erobreseg Hydianites:''' '''''[[GoMadFromTheRevelation AAAAAIIIIIIEEEEEEEE - !!!]]'''''
** A [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/859005115/4918983631 Codexverse drabble]] reveals that he and Cselszövő have been siring multitudes of children with [[HomosexualReproduction each other]]. However, the methods they used to achieve this are kept a heavily guarded secret - one Lord of Change tried to learn for himself, [[GoMadFromTheRevelation and was reported to have taken up the life of a humble gardener in Prince Stækka's hell-fief]].
* UnhappyMedium: For him, being a Seer with unlimited knowledge and power just plain ''sucked''. His precognitive sight was so strong that he could even [[FlashSideways perceive alternate timelines and dimensions]], making it hard for him to discern between them and reality. At one point, he [[EyeScream ripped out all of his eight eyes]] just to make his visions stop... only for them to ''increase'' now that he's a BlindSeer. This in part influenced him to conduct clandestine dimensional/chronological experiments so he could learn how to improve his own life based on observations he made of alternate worlds where he and his brother lived much happier lives. But after Golden Scepter intervened on his family's behalf, he gradually learned to live with his power, especially since both Golden Scepter and his great-uncle, Kúzelník, are helping him control it.
* VillainousBreakdown: After he is [[CurbStompBattle subdued]] by Golden Scepter, who destroys all of his dimensional/chronal research with his [[PsychicPowers psionic might]], Varázsló desperately tries salvaging what he could. He gets [[HopeSpot a glimmer of hope]] when he finds a piece of leftover paper... only to discover that it's burnt to the point where he can't read it anymore. Varázsló then sits in the ashes of his work and is breaks down sobbing, upon which a sympathetic Golden Scepter puts a solemn hoof on his shoulder.
* YouCantFightFate: Invoked. As a god of Fate, he has the power to bind people to certain fates, which he uses to punish those who tried shaping the fates of others for lofty goals, no matter how well-intentioned they are. They're put in illusionary worlds where their actions will either lead to their impending fate being hastened, worsened than it originally was, or the occurrence of a completely different yet horrible fate in place of the original one.
* YouDidntAsk: He didn't tell Prince Fanged Paw that the various monsters he keeps sealed in books, scrolls, and tomes are for defense and punishment because he assumed the Terran Prince already knew, since Fanged Paw visited other hell-fiefs owned by his family. It's not until he sees Fanged Paw beating and banishing said monsters that he reveals this, [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/861846716/4887118327 to Fanged Paw's exasperation]].
--> '''Prince Varázsló:''' Please stop attacking my books. I need those to defend my hell-fief and to punish the worthless scum I rule over.\
'''Prince Fanged Paw:''' Now you're telling me this?!\
'''Prince Varázsló:''' I thought you'd know already since you've been to my family's other hell-fiefs.

* BadGuysDoTheDirtyWork: {{Invoked}} - [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/875815844/4936750175 she]], along with the other Constructive Evil deities in the Equestrian Pantheon, as well as their servants and Champions - would take it upon themselves to purge conspirators had hidden their part in the Canterlot Coup too deeply for them to be legally charged for their crimes, and others who did not participate (but would had supported it anyway for their own malicious interests).
* BigEater: Had eaten whole armies and kingdoms before, since she is a Giant Hybrid deity.
* CrushingThePopulace: As an embodiment of the lust for power, she had in the role of a tyrant crushed dissent and disagreements with cold-hearted ruthlessness. Sometimes [[GiantFootOfStomping literally]] given [[OurGiantsAreBigger her size]].
* EliteMooks: Being considered the family expert in politicide and classicide, Iron Crown has among her own followers and subordinates elite death squads with supporting clean-up crew, a battalion of which she would [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/877792481/4936750650 promise]] to send to help with Stoltur and his fellow (constructive) evil deities in the Equestrian Pantheon [[spoiler:for their own part of the 'Great Purge' against Equestrian nobles, businessmanes, generals and radicals who were deemed a threat to Equestrian government, society and values]].

* GiantFootOfStomping: She had quite literally crushed the populace under hoof due to her size, and had offered to do the same for her little brother Stoltur to a bunch of nobles, radicals and generals causing trouble on his end in Equestria.
* TheMagnificent: Known as "the Cold-Hearted Tyrant".
* OurGiantsAreBigger: She is part-Aload, a race of Equine Giants from the Taurus Peninsula. Since she's a demigod she's much bigger than the mortal average size, and having ascended into full godhood, she is most likely size of a mountain in her present state.
* ThePurge: Among her family, she is widely considered the most apt in the art of politicide and classicide. When Prince Stoltur and his siblings who moved in with the Equestrian pantheon (following the former's marriage with Blue Suede/Caerulus) needed help with [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/877792481/4936750650 dealing]] with the political radicals and elites deemed a threat to Equestria and its ideals, she would send in her own death squads and clean-up crew to help her younger brother with their side of the 'Great Purge'.
--> '''Iron Crown:''' We ***ed whole kingdoms before - sometimes literally - we can more than take care of a bunch of arrogant treacherous mortal scum, and whoever's backing them.
* ReallyGetsAround: Iron Crown, being a daughter of Pokhot, is implied to have also inherited her mother's lustful nature, which are magnified by her Giant heritage leaning towards domination. 298----
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: She's a Alicorn-Deer Draconequus goddess who embodies Curiosity, Knowledge, and Secrets.
* GodOfEvil: Specifically, she embodies the amoral and unfettered sides of curiosity, knowledge, and secrets. It's subverted as she follows [[NecessarilyEvil constructive evil]] and her role is to punish those who sacrificed their morals and ethics to satisfy their own curiosity.
* GoMadFromTheRevelation: Given she's a constructively evil goddess whose domains are Curiosity, Knowledge, and Secrets, her entire role is to test mortals regarding their innate desire to learn everything, and punish those who sacrificed their morals/ethics to satisfy their own curiosity.
--> '''[[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/871322352/4904619890 Princess Tudás]]:''' It is said our most prominent trait as sapient creatures is the desire to know 'why'. But we almost never consider the possibility of what happens when some-creature digs too '''''deep'''''.

\
Shàngtiān Jiùēn, also known as Dìyù Shēnghuó (his entry [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Codex-Equestria-Deities-and-Divines-Part-63-891883225 here]]), is the dual Kirin god of Enlightenment, Salvation, and Paradise, as well as Ignorance, Damnation, and Hell.
----
* AbstractApotheosis: Shàngtiān Jiùēn Ascends to godhood by not only accepting that RevengeIsNotJustice, but also accepting that [[GoodNeedsEvil he was wrong to repress his negative traits]] and reconciles with his darker side, Dìyù Shēnghuó. His Ascension was so explosive that he [[DestroyTheAbusiveHome unwittingly wrecks the abandoned monastery he grew up in]].
* AgeWithoutYouth: According to Shǔ, a Rat goddess of the Zodiac Pantheon, this is what will eventually happen to Shàngtiān Jiùēn and the other surviving orphans who were subjected to the Bodhisattvist monks' experiments -- he'll live longer thanks to the [[CreepyCentipedes Kami no Mukade]] inside him, but he'll decay to the point of becoming a rotting, infested corpse once he reaches an advanced age. Fortunately, Shàngtiān Ascended to godhood, protecting him from the eventual decay while turning his bond with his centipede into a mutually symbiotic one.
* AnimalisticAbomination: As a mortal-turned-god who Ascended all the way until he became a "Titan"-ranked god, Shàngtiān Jiùēn is this. Much like Moon Ray later on, he became a gigantic Kirin god with Deer-like antlers in addition to his branch-like horn, shimmering golden scales, six legs, a HolyHalo, and a perpetually turning divine wheel floating behind him. Though unlike Moon Ray, Shàngtiān has two forms instead of three:
** Shàngtiān's first, default form is a white-furred and golden scaled Kirin with a black horn, a radiant red mane and tail made of Enlightenment energy, slender black antlers, a halo made of Salvation energy, and a divine wheel made of light. He is very handsome and has a wise, serene expression. His six hooves are often depicted as delivering gifts to sapientkind in the form of miracles and salvation.
** Shàngtiān's second form, known as Dìyù Shēnghuó, is a black-furred and golden-scaled Kirin with a white horn, a red mane and tail made of flaming Ignorance energy, spiky white antlers, a baleful halo made of Damnation energy, and a divine wheel made of fire. His face is grotesque like an Oni, echoing the sins committed in ignorance, and he often sports a furious expression. His six hooves are often depicted as delivering gifts to sapientkind in the form of curses and damnation.
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Shàngtiān Jiùēn is a Kirin god who embodies different domains depending on which form he takes: As himself, he embodies Enlightenment, Salvation, and Paradise, but as Dìyù Shēnghuó, he embodies Ignorance, Damnation, and Hell.
* AntiMagic: As Dìyù Shēnghuó, he possesses the domain of Ignorance, giving him natural resistance to all PsychicPowers and allows him to break psychic shields.
* AstralProjection: As a god of Enlightenment, he has astral projection.
* BeautyEqualsGoodness: Post-Ascension, Shàngtiān Jiùēn is noted to be a very handsome Kirin with a wise, serene expression on his face, and he's a god of Enlightenment, Salvation, and Paradise. He's also a kind, faithful, and selfless person who wants to spread enlightenment so he could save them from damnation, though he acknowledges that GoodNeedsEvil. It's averted with his infernal form, Dìyù Shēnghuó, who has a grotesque face and often looks furious, though Dìyù follows 'Constructive Evil' and punishes genuinely wicked souls when not testing mortals.
* BodyHorror: Due to the [[ImmortalitySeeker nature]] of the [[SinisterMinister Bodhisattvist monks]]' experiments, Shàngtiān Jiùēn is granted pseudo-immortality where he'll continue living, but he'll eventually turn into a centipede-infested corpse once he gets into an advanced age. As the horrified Zodiac Pantheon learned the hard way with some of the orphans, solving this problem by separating Shàngtiān from the [[CreepyCentipedes Kami no Mukade]] that lives inside his body won't work because [[CantLiveWithoutYou he's bonded to it and will actually die without it]]. Fortunately, this is averted once Shàngtiān Ascends, turning his bond with the Kami no Mukade into a mutually symbiotic one and granting them both divine immortality so long as neither is harmed.
* BrokenPedestal: Deconstructed. Shàngtiān Jiùēn was deeply angered by the monks' abuse and experimentation, and knew all along that their religious teachings were a sham, but refused to acknowledge it for fear of being damned to a horrible fate upon being reincarnated. Shàngtiān's pent-up feelings drove him to go on a RoaringRampageOfRevenge against {{Corrupt Church}}es in the Erobreseg Deer Realms, wanting them to pay for their crimes to compensate for the Bodhisattvist monks being (in his mind) {{Karma Houdini}}s. He [[AngstComa falls into a coma]] after both Voľná Láska and Moon Ray defeat him, but with their help, he finally accepts the error in ignoring the truth and repressing his feelings about it, and lets it go.
* CantLiveWithoutYou: The experiments that gave Shàngtiān Jiùēn pseudo-immortality required him to be bonded with a [[CreepyCentipedes Kami no Mukade]], which means both he ''and'' the Kami no Mukade (whom he later named "Tiān Wúgōng") will die if they're separated. The nature of Shàngtiān's pseudo-immortality also ensures that [[BodyHorror he'll start turning into a rotting corpse once he gets into an advanced age]]. Fortunately, his Ascension fixed this, but he'll still die if something happens to Tiān Wúgōng.
* CollectorOfTheStrange: In his mortal youth, Shàngtiān Jiùēn collected pinwheels following his adoption as a way to [[DueToTheDead honor]] his fellow orphans, many who died from the corrupt Bodhisattvist monks' experiments. This eventually stops when Moon Ray and Voľná Láska convinces him to let go of his grief, and the pinwheels are burned in a funerary bonfire overseen by [[GodOfTheDead Marena]], his adoptive great-great-aunt, so he can gain closure over his friends' deaths.
* CompellingVoice: Both he and Dìyù Shēnghuó possess this as gods of Paradise and Hell, respectively, allowing them to grant orders and affect their targets.
* CompositeCharacter: Shàngtiān Jiùēn combines traits from both [[VideoGame/SekiroShadowsDieTwice Kuro and the Divine Child of Rejuvenation]] -- he was a survivor of cruel experiments inflicted upon him by [[SinisterMinister corrupt, immortality-seeking monks]] at a young age, which left him immortal yet infested with centipedes, and later went blind at one point. He was also kept isolated by the monks due to him being a living success until he was found and rescued, and one of his hobbies is making tasty rice balls. After coming to terms with his repressed traumas and flaws, Shàngtiān Ascends to godhood and essentially becomes two gods sharing one body that he can switch between at will -- which has elements of [[spoiler:''Sekiro'''s "Dragon's Homecoming" ending, in which the Divine Child takes Kuro's soul into herself so she could return the [[{{Immortality}} Dragon Heritage]] to the Divine Dragon, and ends up sharing bodies, thoughts, and feelings with Kuro]].
* DarkIsNotEvil: Played with Dìyù Shēnghuó. He's a black-furred divine Kirin who embodies Ignorance, Damnation, and Hell, but he follows '[[NecessarilyEvil Constructive Evil]]' and punishes the souls of genuinely wicked people. Because both he and his heavenly counterpart, Shàngtiān Jiùēn, embody the BalanceBetweenGoodAndEvil, Dìyù Shēnghuó has ''white'' antlers whereas hàngtiān Jiùēn has ''black'' antlers. Dìyù Shēnghuó also embodies Shàngtiān Jiùēn's vices and darker emotions, and the latter repressing him is what allowed Dìyù Shēnghuó to come into being.
* DarkIsEvil: Subverted. Dìyù Shēnghuó is a black-furred divine Kirin who embodies Ignorance, Damnation, and Hell, as well as hàngtiān Jiùēn's vices and darker emotions, but he follows '[[NecessarilyEvil Constructive Evil]]' and punishes the souls of genuinely wicked people. Ironically; he has ''white'' antlers whereas his heavenly counterpart, Shàngtiān Jiùēn, has ''black'' antlers, though it's fitting as he essentially embodies yin-yang and the BalanceBetweenGoodAndEvil.
* DeityOfHumanOrigin: Shàngtiān Jiùēn was originally a mortal Kirin who was given pseudo-immortality through the Bodhisattvist monks' horrific experiments with the [[CreepyCentipedes Kami no Mukade]], which traumatized him for years. After accepting his flaws, darker urges, and traumas, he Ascends and becomes a dual Kirin god with two portfolios -- Enlightenment, Salvation, and Paradise in his 'good' divine form, and Ignorance, Damnation, and Hell in his infernal form.
* DestroyTheAbusiveHome: An unintentional example. Shàngtiān Jiùēn didn't intend for it to happen, but the arcane backlash of his Ascension destroyed much of the monastery where he and his fellow orphans were raised and cruelly experimented on by corrupt Bodhisattvist monks.
* DisabledDeity: Like the [[VideoGame/SekiroShadowsDieTwice Divine Child of Rejuvenation]], Shàngtiān Jiùēn is blind, though here it's thanks to the extreme physical strain of the Bodhisattvist monks' horrific experiments. He remained blind even after Ascending all the way to true godhood.
* DivineParentage: He was adopted by Princess Voľná Láska following his rescue from the corrupt monks by the Zodiac Pantheon. He ends up becoming a grandson of Moon Ray Vaughoof after his mother was adopted by the latter, and a great-grandson of Emperor Golden Scepter following Belyolen and Temnobog's adoption.
* DontYouDarePityMe: Shàngtiān Jiùēn is annoyed with those who treat him like a helpless invalid for being blind; his infernal form, Dìyù Shēnghuó, loves proving such people wrong on the matter. They both do acknowledge when they genuinely need help, however.
* DoorstopBaby: Shàngtiān Jiùēn was left on the steps of a Bodhisattvist monastery by his birth parents, and shortly taken in by the monks living there. Unfortunately, the monastery he grew up in housed a rogue sect of Bodhisattvist monks who experimented on him and his fellow orphans so they could gain immortality. By Shàngtiān's own admission, he became obsessed with finding his birth parents because of this, wanting to know why he was left with a group of corrupt people who abused him in his youth. Shàngtiān's mentor, Healing Song/Medela, got through to him, pointing out that his obsession was making him ignore the adoptive family who loved him.
* DrivenToSuicide: Narrowly averted. Upon being confronted with his own flaws and sins, both real and perceived, Shàngtiān Jiùēn suffered a breakdown and wanted to kill himself. Thankfully, both Voľná and Moon Ray managed to talk him out of it.
* TheEmpath: Shàngtiān Jiùēn's domains of Enlightenment and Salvation, and Dìyù Shēnghuó's domain of Damnation give them empathic abilities, the latter two revolving around promoting others' inner goodness and wickedness, respectively.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: His infernal form, Dìyù Shēnghuó, was fond of his adoptive mother, Princess Voľná Láska; this is what saved his life as Dìyù Shēnghuó, despite being angry over being repressed, allowed Voľná to rescue her son instead of choosing to [[SplitPersonalityTakeover take him over outright]] then and there.
* ForgivenButNotForgotten: Deconstructed. On the surface, Shàngtiān Jiùēn seemingly forgave the corrupt Bodhisattvist monks who experimented on him and his fellow orphans, but deep down he was ''deeply'' angry with them. However, Shàngtiān refused to acknowledge his grudge because doing so would mean acknowledging the monks' religious lessons were a complete sham, and being damned to a horrible fate upon being reincarnated. His pent-up anger not only pushed him to go on a RoaringRampageOfRevenge against {{Corrupt Church}}es in the Erobreseg Deer Realms, but also led to the 'birth' of Dìyù Shēnghuó, the embodiment of his repressed darker personality aspects. Thanks to Moon Ray and Voľná Láska, Shàngtiān realized RevengeIsNotJustice and that he was wrong to suppress his own negative emotions, and reconciles with Dìyù Shēnghuó, leading to him finally forgiving his abusers. This triggers his AScension to godhood, but in an unexpected way due to the unique circumstances involved.
* GodInHumanForm: When he wants to blend in and fully intermingle with mortals, Shàngtiān Jiùēn appears as a mortal Kirin before his Ascension. In this form, he can wield both holy magic and dark magic as a carry-over from his divine forms, though his powers are watered down as a result.
* GodIsGood: Shàngtiān Jiùēn's is a kind, faithful, and selfless Kirin god who wants to spread enlightenment so they know what's right or wrong, so they can have better chance to live a good life. HE believes no one is beyond compasison or redemption, and frequents the Hell-Realms of his respective pantheons so he can help damned souls repent for their sins. However, he acknowledges that [[GoodNeedsEvil without evil or choice, people wouldn't have a chance to grow at all]].
* GodOfEvil: Subverted. Dìyù Shēnghuó, Shàngtiān Jiùēn's infernal form, embodies Ignorance, Damnation, and Hell, but while he delights in the presence of evil, Dìyù only follows '[[NecessarilyEvil Constructive Evil]]' and believes much of the evils created by sapientkind stems from ignorance. Thus, he uses his domains to test mortals by spreading moral ignorance and corruption to see what they could do. Dìyù also ''despises'' those who callously sacrificed innocent lives in pursuit of [[ImmortalitySeeker immortality]] or [[GodhoodSeeker godhood]], owing to his experiences, and reserves the worst punishments for such individuals.
* GodOfGood: Shàngtiān Jiùēn's default form is a [[GoldAndWhiteAreDivine gold and white-furred]] Kirin god who embodies Enlightenment, Salvation, and Paradise. In this form, he would help damned souls repent for their sins so they could be saved from eternal torment, and in the mortal planes, he would travel to spread enlightenment so people could live good lives and earn salvation through knowing right and wrong.
* GoldAndWhiteAreDivine: Played straight and inverted. Shàngtiān Jiùēn's true divine form is a white-furred Kirin god with golden scales, highlighting not only his divinity, but also the moral goodness he represents. As Dìyù Shēnghuó, however, his true divine form is a black-furred Kirin god with gold scales to highlight the moral evils and corruption he represents.
* GoodNeedsEvil: After growing up learning puristic lessons on morality and goodness that ultimately turned out to be a sham, Shàngtiān Jiùēn acknowledges and accepts that it's okay to be flawed and have darker urges as long as they're kept in check. And without evil or choice, people wouldn't have a chance to grow at all, which is where [[GodOfEvil Dìyù Shēnghuó]] comes in.
* HandicappedBadass: Shàngtiān Jiùēn was blinded as a foal by the corrupt Bodhisattvist monks' immortality-inducing experiments, which made him a DisabledDeity once he Ascended to godhood. This doesn't stop him from being a powerful god and competent fighter, with the unique circumstances of his Ascension giving him ''two'' divine forms, each with their own separate portfolios.
* HappilyAdopted: Shàngtiān Jiùēn ended up being adopted by Princess Voľná Láska, who greatly sympathized with him for his horrific experiences. While there was a lot of problems initially, Shàngtiān came to love Voľná as his own mother -- so much that his darker self, Dìyù Shēnghuó, allowed her to save him from his AngstComa, albeit with a condition that she bring Shàngtiān to the monastery he grew up in to make him face his repressed flaws and PTSD. Later on, with Voľná's adoption by Moon Ray/Canticum, Shàngtiān would become an adoptive member of the Liberi Lunae, Moon Ray/Canticum's adoptive/biological children and grandchildren.
* HeavenlyBlue: Pre-Ascension, Shàngtiān Jiùēn was a blue-furred Kirin who in his youth was given pseudo-immortality by corrupt Bodhisattvist monks trying to make themselves immortal, with [[AgeWithoutYouth serious consequences]]. He was later rescued and adopted by by Princess Voľná Láska, the constructively evil Deer goddess of Addiction, Enlightenment, Love, and Nature. After overcoming his trauma and accepting his darker side, Shàngtiān Ascended to godhood in such a way that he gained ''two'' divine forms -- one heavenly and benevolent, and one hellish and evil.
* ImmortalityBeginsAtTwenty: Subverted. As a god, Shàngtiān Jiùēn only gets StrongerWithAge; while he's chronologically a "Tier II"-ranked god, he physically resembles a "Titan"-ranked god because of the unique nature of his Ascension rapidly aging him up to that level. He also, like Moon Ray/Canticum, gains two eldritch divine forms that reflect the good and bad aspects of religion, such as Enlightenment/Ignorance, Salvation/Damnation, and Paradise/Hell. He's also a Kirin god and thus [[EthnicGod has enhanced versions of the Kirins' racial magics]], like [[MindOverMatter arcane telekinesis]].
* ImmuneToMindControl: As a god of Enlightenment, Shàngtiān Jiùēn possesses an indomitable will that protects him against brainwashing spells.
* MagicHair: Shàngtiān Jiùēn has a red mane and tail made of Enlightenment energy. Dìyù Shēnghuó, however, his mane and tail are made of flaming Ignorance energy instead.
* TheMagnificent: Shàngtiān Jiùēn is known as "the Bodhisattva of Salvation". As Dìyù, he's known as "the Ashura of Damnation".
* MeaningfulName: Shàngtiān Jiùēn translates to "Heavenly Salvation" in Chinese Pinyin. Dìyù Shēnghuó, the name of Shàngtiān's infernal form, translates to "hell life" in Chinese Pinyin.
* MindOverMatter: Shàngtiān Jiùēn's Enlightenment domain grants him psychic telekinesis.
* ModestRoyalty: Despite being the ruler of an afterlife realm (specifically, a [[{{Heaven}} Heaven-Realm]]), Shàngtiān Jiùēn usually wears the simple robes of a Bodhsattvist priest with a large outer Kesa cloth wrapped around him, and a conical straw hat for protection against weather and sunlight. This is averted with Dìyù Shēnghuó, who rules over a [[{{Hell}} Hell-Realm]] and wears divine Qilin Empire-style armor.
* MovingBeyondBereavement: A huge part of Shàngtiān Jiùēn's character development involves letting go of his grief towards his fellow orphans' deaths, as well as his anger towards the corrupt Bodhisattvist monks whose selfish pursuit of immortality led to his friends dying. This includes letting Marena, his great-great-grandaunt, burn his [[TragicKeepsake pinwheel collection]] in a funerary pyre.
* OpposeWhatYouSuffered: Both Shàngtiān Jiùēn and Dìyù Shēnghuó ''despise'' those who pursue [[ImmortalitySeeker immortality]] (or [[GodhoodSeeker godhood]] without genuinely proving themselves worthy of it, especially when their efforts come at the expense of others. Dìyù Shēnghuó gives such people the worst punishments he could think of.
* ParentalAbandonment: Shàngtiān Jiùēn was a DoorstopBaby left on the steps of a Bodhisattvist monastery. Years later, he became obsessed with finding his birth parents, wanting to learn why he was abandoned and left with the monks who experimented on him as a foal. Prince Healing Song/Medela, a fellow adoptee, got through to Shàngtiān by pointing out he still had a loving family and his obsession was making him ignore them.
* PastExperienceNightmare: Part of Shàngtiān Jiùēn's foalhood trauma is that he would have nightmares of his time as a test subject for the corrupt, immortality-seeking Bodhisattvist monks, whose experiments also killed most of his fellow orphans. Thankfully, he received psychiatric help and family support for it.
* PerpetualFrowner: Due to his divine nature as an infernal god of Ignorance, Damnation, and Hell, Dìyù Shēnghuó often sports a furious expression.
* PsychicPowers: As a god of Enlightenment, Shàngtiān Jiùēn has psychic powers like {{Telepathy}}, AstralProjection, precognition, and [[MindOverMatter telekinesis]], which he mostly uses to accommodate his blindness. It's noted his powers are very similar to his adoptive mother's, but much stronger.
* RestorationOfSanity: As a god of Enlightenment, Shàngtiān Jiùēn can heal chaotic, fractured minds by instilling tranquility.
* RevengeIsNotJustice: A major point in Shàngtiān Jiùēn's character development involves this. He hated the corrupt Bodhisattvist monks for experimenting on him and his fellow orphans, and his RoaringRampageOfRevenge against the corrupt mortal churches of the Erobreseg Deer Realms was a direct result of this. However, he refused to acknowledge his hatred out of fear of being damned, which later put him in a coma. With Voľná Láska and Moon Ray/Canticum's help, Shàngtiān Jiùēn acknowledges he was wrong to pursue revenge for its own sake and lets go of his hatred, which not only helps him wake up from his coma, but also triggers his [[AbstractApotheosis Ascension to godhood]].
* ScarsAreForever: Shàngtiān Jiùēn has scars from the horrible experiments the Bodhisattvist monks performed on him as a colt. This also applies to his infernal form, Dìyù Shēnghuó, as he is a part of Shàngtiān.
* {{Seers}}: As a god of Enlightenment, Shàngtiān Jiùēn has precognitive abilities.
* SplitPersonalityMerge: Sort of. Due to his religiously puristic upbringing and fears of being damned to a horrible fate, Shàngtiān Jiùēn repressed his vices and darker emotions for so long that he ended up creating Dìyù Shēnghuó, who is angry with him for it and would have [[SplitPersonalityTakeover taken him over outright]] if he didn't [[EvenEvilHasLovedOnes share Shàngtiān's love for his adoptive mother, Voľná Láska]]. Once Shàngtiān realizes his mistake, he accepts Dìyù Shēnghuó as part of him, leading to Shàngtiān Ascending to godhood. However, the unique circumstances of the situation led to both of them SharingABody, as Dìyù Shēnghuó had become an alternative form that Shàngtiān could switch in and out of at will.
* SurvivorGuilt: Shàngtiān Jiùēn ''deeply'' blamed himself for the deaths of many of his fellow orphans and grieved for them constantly, even [[DueToTheDead collecting pinwheels]] so they wouldn't be forgotten. However, as his adoptive mother Voľná Láska discovered, he used his pinwheels as stand-ins for his dead friends and talked to them as if they were still alive. A huge reason why he developed vengeful tendencies is because he wanted the [[SinisterMinister corrupt Bodhisattvist monks]] to pay for killing his friends. Eventually, Voľná, Moon Ray/Canticum, and variuos Death deities convinced Shàngtiān to let go of his grief so he can finally move on, which included giving up his pinwheel collection (which he does).
* {{Telepathy}}: Shàngtiān Jiùēn's domains of Enlightenment and Salvation, and Dìyù Shēnghuó's domain Damnation give them telepathic abilities, the latter two revolving around promoting others' inner goodness and wickedness, respectively.
* TragicKeepsake: The pinwheels Shàngtiān Jiùēn collected in his mortal youth were all stand-ins for his fellow orphans who died to the monks' cruel, immortality-inducing experiments. As Voľná Láska discovered, he talked to them as if they were still alive. With her and Moon Ray's help, however, he lets go of his grief and allows his pinwheel collection to be burned in a funerary bonfire overseen by [[GodOfTheDead Marena]], his adoptive great-great-aunt, so he can finally gain closure.
* UnusualPetsForUnusualPeople: Shàngtiān Jiùēn's pet is Tiān/Dìyù Wúgōng, a Kami no Mukade ("divine centipede") that was implanted in him as a foal by corrupt Bodhasattvist monks as part of their [[ImmortalitySeeker immortalty-inducing experiments]]. Following his Ascension, he and Tiān/Dìyù Wúgōng develop a mutually symbiotic bond where he can empower/heal the latter and give Tiān/Dìyù Wúgōng unique powers of his own depending on which form he takes. He can also [[FusionDance fuse]] with his pet centipede to become a centipede hybrid, which comes with its own abilities. Because he's blind, Shàngtiān Jiùēn relies on Tiān/Dìyù Wúgōng for guidance and protection. However, their bond is such that [[CantLiveWithoutYou if one of them dies, the other dies as well]].
* WhiteMage: As a god of Salvation, Shàngtiān Jiùēn specializes in this. He possesses [[HolyHandGrenade purification spells]] that can cleanse dark magic and corrupted souls, and he can [[DetectEvil sense dark magic in general]]. He can save others from wrongful punishments and contracts by nullifying them, which is useful in saving [[TheScapegoat Judicial Replacements]]. He can cast [[BarrierWarrior protective barriers]] and charms, ease people's pains, and, on certain occasions, grant miracles. He can also see and show people all the good things they did in life.
* WhiteSheep: At first, Shàngtiān Jiùēn appeared to be the only genuinely good member of Temnobog's infernal family due to his virtuous personality and actions. But it's later subverted when his adoptive family discovers that he had been [[EmotionSuppression repressing his own vices and darker emotions]] out of fear of being reincarnated to a horrible life upon death, creating Dìyù Shēnghuó, the living embodiment of his repressed darker side. Once Shàngtiān overcomes his trauma and accepts and reconciles with said darker side, he Ascends to godhood, but the unique circumstances behind it [[RapidAging ages him up]] to the divine rank of "Titan", making him a much physically older god. While Shàngtiān is still himself, he now has a balanced view of himself with the ability to switch between himself and Dìyù Shēnghuó.
* YoungerThanTheyLook: Like his adoptive grandfather, Moon Ray, Shàngtiān Jiùēn becomes a physically ''much'' older god despite being quite young chronologically. In his case, he becomes a "Titan"-ranked god due to the nature and circumstances of his Ascension when chronologically he would've been classified as a "Lesser"-ranked god.

----
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: He's a Deer-Draconequus god who embodies Greed, Debt, and Law.
* BrotherSisterIncest: While not as lustful by the standards of his infernal family, he has been noted to have courted his own brothers and sisters in addition to [[KissingCousins his cousins]] and [[ReallyGetsAround multiple unrelated lovers]].
* DarkIsEvil: Subverted. He's described as having a black pelt (with parts of him made of gold and resplendent gemstones), he has the gills and tail of a black koi fish, and his royal attire consists of Roedinian-style furs and cloaks. However, while he's 'evil' like his family and infernal relatives, he serves '[[NecessarilyEvil constructive Evil]]' and acts more like a NobleDemon who punishes the wicked in the afterlife rather than tempting the guilty in the mortal planes.
* KissingCousins: He has courted his own cousins from families of the other Terrors in addition to [[BrotherSisterIncest his brothers and sisters]], and [[ReallyGetsAround his multiple unrelated lovers]].
* TheMagnificent: Known as "the Keeper of Laws and Debts".
* MeaningfulName: His name means "Greedy Tax" in Czech, which is appropriate for a god who embodies Greed and Debt, and is Bolezn's oldest son.
* MixAndMatchCritters: Like his siblings and cousins, he is a Deer-Draconequus. In his case, his chimeric animal traits (ironically) relate to wealth and good fortune - he has the tusks of a wild boar, the aquatic gills and tail of a black koi fish, the elytra carapace and wings of an Asian ladybird beetle, the front left paw of a dog, and the right hind leg of an elephant.
* ReallyGetsAround: While not as lustful as the rest of his infernal family (especially those of Pokhot's lineage), he himself has had many lovers over the centuries, and has even courted his brothers, sisters, and cousins at various points in his life.
* RedeemingReplacement: His entry notes he is one for Kolektor, his uncle. Unlike Kolektor, who was once '[[NobleDemon constructively Evil]]' but sided with Ispita for selfish gain after she became evil, Chamtivá is more diligent, businesslike, and thorough in performing his job as a divine debt collector, and tries his hardest to rein in his own darker urges. He even treats Kolektor with disdain, seeing him as equally accountable for his crimes as are the wicked shades Kolektor stole from Temnobog's Hell-Realms, and has vowed to bring him back for punishment.
* YoureNotMyFather: A variant; he emphatically disowns Kolektor as his uncle after hearing how the latter [[FaceHeelTurn became a Fallen deity]] out of greed and stole many wicked souls from Temnobog's Hell-Realms for Ispita's use.
--> '''Prince Chamtivá Daň:''' That coward Kolektor is no uncle of mine. 436Prince Stækka (his entry [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Codex-Equestria-Deities-and-Divines-Part-50-844421514 here]]) is the Deer-Draconequus god of Life, Wealth, Growth, and Fertility, and is one of Bolezn's oldest sons.
----
* TheAlmightyDollar: As a god of Wealth, he has powers similar to Bolezn's like transmuting objects into treasures, transforming his foes into precious minerals, and generating wealth from thin air. He an summon storms of sharpened paper money to [[DeathOfAThousandCuts shred his enemies alive]], or avalanches of gems and other treasures to crush/bury his enemies, something often done as punishment for those damned shades who sought wealth to unfettered extremes. He also becomes stronger the wealthier he is; his hell-fief is full of treasure hoards, so he makes sure to hide them in places that aren't easily accessible.
* AlwaysIdenticalTwins: Subverted; he and Hnignun are fraternal twins, so they look nothing alike.
* AnimalMotifs: In contrast to his sister Hnignun, his chimeric traits are based on animals that pertain to Life and Growth, such as bumblebees, monarch butterflies, ants, and adder snakes.
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: He's a Deer-Draconequus god who embodies Life, Wealth, Growth and Fertility.
* BigBrotherBully: Deconstructed. He's marginally older than Hnignun via being fraternal twins, but Stækka's grief over his mother's sudden death in a genocidal pogrom, combined with witnessing the horrors the mortal Erobreseg Deer Herds suffered, made him increasingly abusive towards Hnignun even in his thoughts - which Hnignun overheard due to sharing a [[TwinTelepathy telepathic link]]. Things culminated when, in a moment of upset, Stækka lashed out at Hnignun during an argument and disparaged her for embodying things like Death and Decay. This pushed Hnignun over the edge and drove herself to seal herself up in a pocket realm so she wouldn't make Deerkind suffer again. This angered Stækka's family members, especially Phykti, who [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech chewed him out]] on his puristic, abusive treatment of his sister and [[NotSoDifferentRemark compared him to High King Irminsul]], which shook Stækka greatly. After being shown the consequences of his actions by Bolezn, Stækka apologized to Hnignun, who forgave him after coming to terms with her feelings, and they reconciled.
* BigBrotherMentor: He often serves as a mentor for his younger siblings and cousins in teaching them gardening and cooking. He was responsible for helping his younger cousin, Prince Stoltur Skjöldur, start his own vegetable garden to satisfy the latter's vegetarian diet.
* BigEater: Downplayed. Like his father, Bolezn, he also likes gorging on food, and often snacks on the fruit growing on his antlers while working. However, in part because of his domains, he feels more comfortable with growing and cooking things.
* BrightIsNotGood: He's a radiant, white-furred Deer stag with green gradients on his body/face, a pair of Monarch Butterfly wings, and a HolyHalo made of Life energy. He's also a sadistic MadScientist who enjoys turning the damned shades in his hell-fief into his test subjects (though he has skill in creating plagues like his father and twin sister), and hunting them down for sport. That said, his sadistic behavior is directed only towards the wicked and unrepentant, as he represents what happens when people pursue things like life and growth to unfettered degrees.
* BrotherSisterIncest: Following his reconciliation with his younger twin sister, Hnignun, he fell in love and entered an incestuous relationship with her. This led to the birth of their eldest daughter, Duchess Vyléčit, the Deer-Draconequus goddess of Healing, Medicine, and Doctors. It's also implied that many of Stækka's other hybrid children were born this way, as they live with him in his hell-fief. The Erobreseg Deer Herds don't consider this too surprising, since Temnobog and his side of the Bogolenya Deer Pantheon embodies Deerkind's lustful aspects to varying degrees, making familial incest quite common.
* ColorMotif: White and green. He's a Deer-Draconequus god with radiant and healthy white fur and green gradients, which makes him resemble a leek onion in coloration. Likewise, he also has fetlocks made of green leaves, and wears a green druidic cloak with leaves sewn into it. This symbolizes his connection to Nature as a god of Life, Growth, and Fertility (albeit the unfettered aspects of them), as well as [[SupremeChef his great skill in cooking]].
* DivineParentage: His father is Bolezn, the Bogolenya Deer god of Gluttony, Greed, and Pestilence. At first, he was SemiDivine due to being sired through a mortal mother, but he eventually [[DeityOfHumanOrigin became a full-fledged deity]] after accepting that both Life and Death had a place in the world and performing his duties accordingly.
* EvilGloating: He loves bragging about his depravities and other accomplishments to anyone in his family who listens. Naturally, he restrains himself when around his noble-hearted relatives, as they will be rightly horrified if they hear of what he did.
* GodOfEvil: Specifically, he embodies the amoral and unfettered sides of life, fertility, wealth, and growth. It's subverted as he follows [[NecessarilyEvil constructive evil]] and his role is to punish those who did things like [[EcoTerrorist hurt innocent people just to 'protect' nature]], perform horrific experiments to 'improve' sapient life, carelessly destroy the environment for selfish reasons, or abuse and treat others like animals to be hunted down.
* GoodNeedsEvil: A major theme he shares with his younger twin sister, Hnignun, who is his opposite. While things like Life, Wealth, Growth, and Fertility are treated as "good" concepts, they cannot properly exist without "evil" concepts such as Death, Poverty, Decay, and Sickness - without Death, Life would have no room to grow, and without Decay, the soil would be robbed of vital nutrients that would allow Life to grow properly.
* GoneHorriblyRight:
** In his youth, he would [[WalkingTheEarth travel the world]], bringing wealth, life, and fertility wherever he went so he could "protect" people from the pain of death. Unfortunately, as Stækka discovered the hard way, his efforts only led to ''more'' suffering, as overpopulation ensued thanks to increased surplus of food and wealth, and people became complacent and corrupt to the point of overly relying on Stækka to give them what they wanted while forgetting how to acquire food and wealth by themselves. Wars increased as kingdoms and realms tried stealing from others what they themselves already had. Plagues and other unsanitary conditions sprang up because there was too much life and fertility. In addition, Stækka discovered that his puristic views of life and death alienated Hnignun, who embodied Death and Decay, to the point where she imprisoned herself in a pocket realm out of self-loathing. This caused Stækka to [[VillainousBreakdown break down and become extremely depressed for a while]] out of [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone guilt]], but Bolezn would help him recover by teaching him and his sister "constructive Evil" and how to do their jobs correctly.
** In general, this is what Stækka's concepts would lead to if left unchecked. While his domains sound good on paper, an overabundance of Life, Wealth, Growth, and Fertility could result in bad things like leaving little room for new life to exist, rampant corruption, and too little resources for things to grow properly. This excess would lead to catastrophic consequences when inevitably confronted with stagnation and decay. It's also the main reason why Stækka is a "constructively Evil" deity, and why both he and his hell-fief have elements of the Alvslog Deer Herds and their forested societies - to protect the natural cycle and balance that his mortal Alvslog kin and divine Elternteil Deer relatives had lost sight of in their extreme efforts to preserve the forests.
* HalfBreedDiscrimination: On the receiving end. While his Elternteil Deer relatives grudgingly admit that his domains would make him a good addition to their nature-themed pantheon, they hate him largely for his evil nature and his hybrid heritage. In fact, being compared to them by Phykti in her TheReasonYouSuckSpeech causes Stækka to [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone realize how badly he mistreated his twin sister for embodying Death]].
--> '''Unnamed Elternteil Deer deity:''' I admit, his powers would've made him an excellent addition to the pantheon... if it weren't for his... ''everything else''.
* HolyHalo: Inverted. To contrast Hnignun, who has a baleful halo made of Death energy, he has a radiant halo made of Life energy. He's also an constructively Evil god who punishes the wicked for pursuing things like life, growth, and wealth to unfettered extremes.
* IdenticalTwinIDTag: Averted; he and Hnignun are fraternal twins, so they look nothing alike.
* LikeFatherUnlikeSon: Subverted; while he is different from Bolezn in some ways, he is similar to his father in others. For example, he can be proud of his work to the point of overconfidence, and is more skilled in making cures to plagues and using biomancy to perform horrific experiments on the damned shades in his hell-fief, but he has also helped Bolezn make his deadly plagues. He also shares Bolezn's BigEater tendencies and likes gorging on food, but he feels more comfortable with growing and cooking things.
* MadScientist: Has vibes of this, like his father and sister. He frequently perform horrific {{Biomanipulation}} experiments on captive, damned shades who earned his ire with their perverted obsessions with growth and life, turning them into monsters and other horrific travesties as punishment for their sins. He also helps his father engineer horrific plagues and pestilences with his sister.
* MadScientistsBeautifulDaughter: Gender-inverted, as he's the handsome and radiant ''son'' of Bolezn, the diseased, emaciated, and pest-ridden god of Gluttony and Greed. Bolezn is also a talented MadScientist, and many of his children inherited this aspect from him. It's noted that Stækka often helps his father create deadly plagues, but as the god of Life, he's more experienced in creating cures.
* TheMagnificent: Known as "the Master of Growth", due to embodying Growth and being a master in anything that involved growing, such as gardening or making dead lands burst with life.
* MeaningfulName:
** His name means "growth" or "expand" in Icelandic, which is appropriate for a god that embodies Life, Wealth, Growth, and Fertility.

* MixAndMatchCritters: Like his father, relatives, and siblings, he is a Deer-Draconequus, though in his case he has chimeric animal traits that pertain to Life and Growth, such as the fluffy tail of a bumblebee, the extra legs of an ant, the giant wings of a monarch butterfly, and the eyes and fangs of an adder snake.
* PsychicLink: He shares a telepathic link with Hnignun due to their portfolios and natures being closely intertwined, which sets them apart from identical twins like Belyolen and Temnobog, who are magically bonded, and Blue Suede Heartstrings and Bossa Nova Heartstrings, who are empathically and now telepathically bonded. Their telepathic link allows them to work together without struggle between them, as they can share plans and strategies extremely quickly. However, it's noted that it's also a huge weakness; whenever one of them is psychically attacked, the other will feel their psychic pain. Being telepathically connected to Hnignun also initially contributed to his sister's insecurities and self-loathing towards her nature as a goddess of Death and Decay, since she was mentally exposed to his increasingly hateful and puristic mindset at the time.
* {{Seers}}: His Growth domain gives him a form of precognition that allows him to calculate the chances of natural and financial success, giving him options to ensure the thriving of natural ecosystems and monetary gain of kingdoms and realms, including his own hell-fief. Many Deer and non-Deer have prayed to him to increase their chances of producing fertile crops and making enough money to survive.
* ShipperOnDeck: What Cultura calls him. He is aware of Stoltur's growing crush on his friend, Blue Suede Heartstrings, and wholeheartedly supports a potential relationship between Blue and his cousin. This is because Blue is not only kind and humble, but is also the Alicorn god of Humility, which makes him [[OppositesAttract the perfect partner for someone as prideful as Stoltur]]. However, he's more enthusiastic about it, while his sister, Hnignun, shares the same views but is more low-key in her support. Stoltur finds this rather annoying. His shipping later comes true, though, when Blue Suede and Stoltur eventually fall in love and get married after the former makes a full psychological recovery.
* SinisterScythe: He's skilled in scythe combat and wields his own scythe named ''Lífgjafi'', which was carved from the branch of a healthy divine tree and perpetually sprouts leaves. He's also a GodOfEvil who embodies the unfettered extremes of 'good' concepts liek Life, Growth, Wealth, and Fertility, and is a depraved MadScientist who enjoys performing horrific {{Biomanipulation}} experiments on the damned shades, though he practices constructive evil like the rest of his family.
* SupremeChef: While a BigEater himself like his father and sister, he feels more comfortable with growing and cooking food instead, given his nature as a god of Life and Fertility. He often mentored his children, younger siblings, and cousins on both gardening and cooking, and responsible for helping his younger cousin, Prince Stoltur Skjöldur, start his own vegetable garden to satisfy his vegetarian diet. Naturally, Hnignun, who is [[LethalChef a rather abysmal cook]], loves gorging on his food.
* WarriorPrince: It's noted by his entry that his title as Prince is something he chose to take after Ascending to true godhood. He's also a powerful god and fighter who embodies the "good" aspects of Equus' natural cycle/balance when taken to unfettered, horrific extremes.

Princess Hnignun (her entry [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Codex-Equestria-Deities-and-Divines-Part-50-844421514 here]]) is the Deer-Draconequus goddess of Death, Poverty, Decay, and Sickness, and is one of Bolezn's oldest daughters.
----
* AbhorrentAdmirer: She once had an admirer in [[ComicBook/{{Thanos}} an extremely nihilistic Deer stag who committed increasingly depraved atrocities to win her love, thinking that she supports the end of Life]]. Disturbed, Hnignun handed the Deer stag over to a furious Stækka, who proceeded to subject him to horrible fates to avenge his sister's honor.
* AdmiringTheAbomination: She began admiring Moon Ray/Canticum's [[BodyHorror Alpine form]] after he turns into an [[AnimalisticAbomination eldritch deity]], to the point of developing a VillainousCrush on him. Moon Ray/Canticum gently turns her down because he's already married to Velvet Heart.
* AffablyEvil: Like her father and brother, she is this. While an Evil goddess who enjoys creating deadly plagues and bacteria, as well as inflicting [[CruelAndUnusualDeath extremely horrific deaths]] on the wicked, she's rather modest, introverted, and shy when off-duty. She's rather content with what she has despite her hell-fief being an extremely impoverished place of lifelessness, rot, and disease with no material wealth at all, and could often be found studying. She also loves good food like her father does, and [[BigEater gorges herself on them]] when given the opportunity.
* AllOfTheOtherReindeer: Double-subverted. Being a daughter of Bolezn with a diseased, emaciated appearance made her feared among other children. But because she was born in the Erobreseg Deer Realms, which share a [[GoodNeedsEvil very tolerant and constructive view of 'good' and 'evil']], she was also respected. She even had her own friends growing up, mostly aspiring scientists, chemists, and doctors. That being said, like Stækka, she was subjected to HalfBreedDiscrimination by racial bigots due to her heritage, and lost her mortal mother to a genocidal pogrom when a building collapsed on her and crushed her to death.
* TheAlmightyDollar: Inverted. In a complete opposite to her older twin brother Stækka, who embodies Wealth, she embodies Poverty. Unlike Stækka, who can generate material riches and weaponize them, she can magically destroy wealth and bypass most protective spells/charms designed to protect material riches. She can curse her targets with [[PerpetualPoverty bad monetary luck]], preventing them from making successful profits no matter how hard they try. And unlike Stækka, who is empowered by the presence of wealth, she is empowered by the absence of wealth, which means she's at her strongest in her hell-fief due to it being completely devoid of wealth. She is also an empath whose powers suppresses people's desire for material wealth and makes them accept living in deplorable conditions, unlike the goddess Want, who makes people actively want wealth for themselves.
* AlwaysIdenticalTwins: Subverted, as she and Stækka are fraternal mix-gendered twins, so they look nothing alike. Thus, she appears as a sickly, emaciated, black-furred Deer Doe and has chimeric traits that pertain to Death and Decay, whereas her brother Stækka is a handsome, radiant, white-furred Deer stag and has chimeric traits that pertain to Life and Growth.
* AndIMustScream: Invoked as a punishment in her hell-fief. Anyone who tries to cheat Death by becoming unfettered {{Immortality Seeker}}s are [[{{Transflormation}} transformed into rotting trees]] after they inevitably die and are sent to her hell-fief, forced to live in complete agony for eternity.
* AnimalMotifs: In contrast to her brother Stækka, her chimeric traits are based on animals that pertain to Death and Decay, such as termites, vampire bats, cockroaches, and death's-head hawkmoths.
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: She's a Deer-Draconequus goddess who embodies Death, Poverty, Decay, and Sickness.
* TheAntiNihilist: Despite embodying Death and Decay, which are usually associated with nihilism, she actually disdains nihilists. This stems from her belief that things like Death and Decay play constructive roles in nature by releasing nutrients and making space for new life to grow. Nihilism is a perversion of that as it preaches that only death and destruction have any true meaning. Many nihilists have tried wooing her on the assumption that she wants the universe to die, which naturally gets them punished by being handed over to Stækka, whose domains and hell-fief are the complete antithesis to everything nihilists believe in.
* AstonishinglyAppropriateAppearance: She's a divine Deer-Draconequus who looks severely emaciated, diseased, and sickly, and she embodies things like Death, Decay, Poverty, and Sickness. She also has a black pelt with brown gradience, antlears that resemble gnarled, rotted, and/or diseased tree branches, has dead, rotting leaves for fetlocks, and wears a black, tattered druidic cloak lined with dead leaves and brown patterns. All which makes her resemble a piece of rotting wood. Her divine armor is likewise made of rusted bronze.
* BadassCape: Like her brother, she wears a druidic cloak, but it's tattered and black with brown patterns in her case. She's also a talented scientist and plague-maker, and a powerful goddess in her own right.
* BewareTheQuietOnes: like her father, Bolezn, she's rather modest, introverted, and shy, and she generally prefers to spend time in quiet places like libraries. She's also an evil goddess who sadistically enjoys experimenting on the damned shades in her hell-fief to make new plagues and bacteria, and sows death, decay, poverty, and sickness across the Erobreseg Deer Realms (though for constructive purposes).
* BigEater: Of her and her brother, she embodies this aspect of her father the most, as Stækka feels more comfortable with cooking and growing things. Because she's a rather [[LethalChef abysmal cook]], she relies on others to cook for her, and loves gorging on whatever they make for her. Unlike most examples, however, she eats out of deep appreciation for the benefits Life offers, and understands how difficult it can be in preparing food itself, such as harvesting plants and killing non-sapient creatures for meat.
* BigNo: She shouts this when her family frees her from her self-imposed imprisonment, and begs them to reseal her away. This gets Temnobog angry, and he [[CallingTheYoungManOut yells at her for foolishly assuming that mortals would be better off without death]].
* BirdsOfAFeather: Much of her friendship with Princess Daphné Odora Moufette is based on this. Like Daphné, she suffered from insecurities and self-loathing over embodying concepts that people would normally find horrifying, such as Death, Decay, and Sickness. And like Daphné, she was looked down upon by others for her domains and caused her to repress parts of herself, though in her case, it was her brother who hated and resented her for embodying Death, as it was a grim reminder of their mortal mother's murder by proto-Autorists. They're also very intelligent goddesses who share a love for science/chemistry, though unlike Daphné, she has no qualms over using her talents to create horrible plagues.
* BrotherSisterIncest: Following her reconciliation with her older twin brother, Stækka, she fell in love and entered an incestuous relationship with him. This led to the birth of their eldest daughter, Duchess Vyléčit, the Deer-Draconequus goddess of Healing, Medicine, and Doctors. It's also implied that many of Hnignun's other hybrid children were born from incest, as they live with her in her hell-fief. The Erobreseg Deer Herds don't consider this too surprising, since Temnobog and his family embodies Deerkind's lustful aspects to varying degrees, making incest quite common.
* CallingTheYoungManOut: When she is released from her self-imposed SealedEvilInACan status by her family, she begs to be resealed since she believes she's protecting mortal sapientkind from death. Temnobog yells at her for her foolisness, then shows her the consequences of what happens when things are unable to die. While she does get depressed over it, she eventually realizes her family was right.
--> '''Hnignun:''' NO! Put me back! PUT ME BACK! I can't exist in the outside world!\
'''Temnobog:''' Hnignun! CEASE this foolishness!\
'''Hnignun:''' Foolishness?! I- I'm saving our people from MYSELF, Grandfather! The only thing I can give them is PAIN and SUFFERING! Put me back!\
'''Temnobog:''' If you stay in there any longer, you'll be doing NO ONE a favor! In fact, you'll end up committing a greater evil than ANYONE could ever IMAGINE!"
* CloseToHome:
** She ''despises'' racial bigots and is truly enraged with them, as her mortal mother was killed in a genocidal pogrom for birthing "abominations" like herself and her brother, Stækka. She thinks it's rather hypocritical for any race to believe in TheRightOfASuperiorSpecies (which includes killing off 'inferior' races) because they can die like everyone else.
** She is also disdainful of nihilists, who believe only death has true meaning [[OmnicidalManiac and will destroy everything to prove it]]. She sees it as an utter mockery of death's true role - an equalizing force that makes way for new life - and thus is disturbed whenever such people try to woo her on the assumption that she wants the universe to die.
* ColorMotif: Brown and black. She's a Deer-Draconequus goddess with black fur and brown gradients, and likewise her druidic attire is also black with brown patterns. It's noted she resembles a piece of rotting wood because of this, especially since she has dead, rotting leaves on her cloak, antlers, and fetlocks.
* CommonalityConnection: She befriended Prince Fanged Paw, second-born of Emperor Golden Scepter's Terran Princes, over their [[LethalChef extremely bad skill in cooking]], though ironically, Fanged Paw makes really good haggis (and only that) while Hnignun is just bad in general. However, even she was shocked when Fanged Paw managed to summon invading hordes of [[VideoGame/{{Warcraft}} Murlocs]] into her hell-fief with his cooking.
* DaddysGirl: Unlike her brother Stækka, who was a MommasBoy until their mother's death, Hnignun was closest to their father, Bolezn, due to having similar modest temperaments and love for creating deadly plagues. Nonetheless, she loved her mother, and mourned her after her mother was killed in a genocidal pogrom.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: [WIP]
* DarkIsEvil: Played with. She's described as a divine Deer doe with black fur and brown gradients, and wears a tattered black druidic cloak with brown patterns and dead leaves. This gives her the appearance of rotting, diseased wood, which is appropriate since she embodies 'evil' things like Death, Decay, and Poverty, and she is one of [[{{Plaguemaster}} Bolezn]]'s oldest daughters, sadistic in thinking up horrible ways to die and just as capable of creating deadly plagues. However, she's actually an AffablyEvil NobleDemon who practices '[[NecessarilyEvil constructive Evil]]', so while she sows death, decay, poverty, and sickness, she genuinely wants to help sapientkind survive by reminding them of Death's role in the natural balance. That being said, she is still both feared and respected by the Erobreseg Deer Herds for being a creator of plagues and sower of death and decay.
* DarkIsNotEvil: She sees concepts like death, decay, poverty, and sickness as things that are ultimately important in the BalanceBetweenGoodAndEvil, making room for new life, motivating people to amass wealth for themselves and others, and helping them learn how to prepare for future disasters. Played with herself, in that while she is a constructively evil goddess who tests mortals and punishes the wicked, she still willingly participates in various depravities as per her nature.
* DeityOfHumanOrigin: Like her twin brother, she was originally a demigoddess due to her parents being a 'true' god and a mortal Nordskelt Doe. She eventually Ascended to true godhood when she overcomes her self-loathing regarding her portfolio and does her job as a divine punisher correctly.
* DeviousDaggers: In contrast to her twin brother, a skilled archer, she is more good at stealth and uses various knives and daggers hidden within her cloak. She's also an evil goddess who is [[NightmareFetishist fascinated with death]] and loves killing people with her plagues in horrible ways, though she directs her impulses to constructive ends. It's noted she can cover her knives and daggers with poisons and plagues.
* DidYouJustRomanceCthulhu: She wants to invoke this by hooking up with Moon Ray/Canticum Lunae after he transforms into an [[AnimalisticAbomination eldritch deity]], because one of his cyclic forms is essentially a rotting Alicorn corpse with antlers, [[NightmareFetishist which is completely right up her alley]]. Alas, Moon Ray/Canticum Lunae is already married, not to mention he's [[IncompatibleOrientation asexual]], so she's turend down.
* DivineParentage: Her father is Bolezn, the Bogolenya Deer god of Gluttony, Greed, and Pestilence. Her mother was a mortal Nordskelt Deer immigrant from Cervidia and a botanist.
* EmotionSuppression: As a goddess of Poverty, she can produce an empathic aura that suppresses people's desire for material wealth and makes them okay with living in extremely deplorable conditions. This is in stark contrast to the goddess Want, whose empathic aura makes people actively ''want'' material riches.
* TheEmpath: Like the goddess Want, she possesses empathic powers that pertain to her domain of Poverty. Unlike Want, she can produce an empathic aura that suppresses people's desire for material wealth and makes them okay with living in extremely deplorable conditions.
* EvilCounterpart:
** To Princess Daphné Odora Moufette. They're both studious, introverted goddesses who don't lke crowds or social gatherings, and they each embody traditionally 'evil' domains like Poison, Death, and Decay, something that gave them self-loathing and other issues due to how others reacted to them negatively. However, whereas Daphné is a kindhearted chemist who focuses on developing cures and anti-toxins, Hnignun sadistically enjoys performing various experiments on the damned shades in her hell-fief. And whereas Daphné detests killing people with her domains and prefers using them to help cure others, Hnignun has no such qualms and openly uses her powers in battle. Ironically, they would become friends because of how they're [[BirdsOfAFeather alike in many ways]].
** To Montem Morte. They're both shy yet studious and intelligent Death deities who believe things must die to make way for new life as part of the natural cycle. They're also part of a set of mix-gendered fraternal twins. However, whereas Montem is a protector of nature who loves animals, Hnignun enjoys creating plagues and actively sows death, decay, and poverty across the Erobreseg Deer Realms (though for constructive purposes). Whereas Montem helps guide the restless dead to safety and helps protect people from nature's dangerous aspects, Hnignun seeks out corrupt people who use her domains for wicked, destructive ends and drags them down to her hell-fief to be tormented eternally for their crimes. Montem's entry notes that a few of Hnignun's children were spotted in the mountains he lives in, having moved there to test him and his mortal followers.
* FreudianExcuse: Her hatred of racism and bigotry stems from losing her mother to a genocidal pogrom when she was a teenager. Her self-loathing towards her own divine nature stems from being telepathically exposed to her twin brother's increasingly puristic mindset and being emotionally abused for embodying 'evil' things like Death and Decay.
* GodInHumanForm: As a goddess of Death, she usually appears as a lanky, black and brown-furred Doe with no antlers when in the mortal planes.
* GodOfEvil: She embodies what happens when concepts like Death, Decay, Poverty, and Sickness are used for selfish, destructive, and/or wicked ends, such as trying to grant oneself immortality, hoarding one's wealth out of greed, [[TheSocialDarwinist killing any 'undesirables']], or becoming so nihilistic that [[OmnicidalManiac they think only death and destruction mean anything]]. It's subverted as she follows [[NecessarilyEvil constructive evil]] and his role is to punish those who schemed and deceived others solely for their own benefit.
* GodOfTheDead: As a goddess of Death, she has the powers typically associated with Death deities and is automatically very powerful. She can travel between mortal and divine planes easily, [[SpontaneousWeaponCreation summon magical copies of weapons from thin air]], raise and command the spirits of the dead, and free spirits that are stuck in the mortal planes by cutting their "ties". She can [[VoluntaryShapeshifting change her own form to blend in with her surroundings]]; when in the mortal plane, she often [[GodInHumanForm appears as a lanky, black and brown-furred doe with no antlers]]. She also has clairvoyance that makes her sense when people are going to die, allowing her to approach them in their last moments. Being a Death goddess also grants her the ability to induce peace and painlessness in those who are suffering in agony, to calm the dying and ensure a smooth transition to the next part of the cycle.
* HolyHalo: Like Stækka, she has a halo, except hers is a baleful halo made of Death energy. It's inverted as she is a constructively Evil goddess with cruel and sadistic urges despite having a halo.
* HumbleHero: Inverted. While an 'evil' goddess of Death and Decay, and a skilled scientist and chemist who often helps Bolezn in creating deadly plagues, she inherited much of her father's modest and shy personality. Despite having no material wealth in her hell-fief unlike Stækka's, she's content with what she has, and whenever she's praised for something, she'll blush and nervously shuffle her legs. Her humility sometimes makes it hard to accept praise when it's due, but thankfully her family is helping her overcome this.
* IdenticalTwinIDTag: Averted; she and Stækka are fraternal twins, so they look nothing alike.
* IncompatibleOrientation: Part of why Moon Ray/Canticum rejected her crush is because he's asexual, albeit one who's HappilyMarried.
* LeanAndMean: Because she embodies Death, Decay, Poverty, and Sickness, she looks severely emaciated, diseased, and sickly. She also appears as a lanky, black and brown-furred Doe with no antlers when soujorning in the mortal realms. While she's more AffablyEvil like her father and immediate family, she's still cruel and depraved as is her nature, and is a very creative plague-maker who constantly thinks of ways to make the damned shades in her hell-fief die horribly.
* LethalChef: Fittingly for a goddess who embodies Death and Decay, she's a rather abysmal cook and often relies on others, such as [[SupremeChef Stækka]], to cook delicious meals for her, something she admits to. This led to her befriending [[TheBeastmaster Prince Fanged Paw]], whose cooking skills are similarly terrible. However, even she was shocked when she discovered that his cooking is so terrible, he ends up summoning {{Eldritch Abomination}}s and other monsters every time he tries cooking something, such as an incident where Fanged Paw accidentally summoned hordes of [[VideoGame/{{Warcraft}} Murlocs]] that invaded Hnignun's hell-fief.
* MadScientist: Much like her father and twin brother, she participates in horrible experimentation of the damned shades in their hell-fiefs. In her case, unlike her brother, she takes after her father more by subjecting them to various diseases to research their causes and symptoms. Her entry notes that she is constantly thinking of ways to make the damned shades in her hell-fief die horribly, and is creative enough to make it so. The Erobreseg Deer Herds believe InUniverse that dying is merciful compared to what she usually does to her victims.
* MadScientistsBeautifulDaughter: Played with. While she's one of Bolezn's oldest daughters, Hnignun's significantly less attractive-looking than her brother Stækka; she embodies Bolezn's diseased and impoverished aspects, and thus resembles an extremely emaciated and sickly Deer doe. However, Hnignun's a DaddysGirl who's completely loyal to her father and loves helping him create new plagues. There's also the fact that many of her siblings and relatives engage in [[VillainousIncest incestuous relationships]], so looks don't even matter to her.
* TheMagnificent: Known as "the Mistress of Decay", due to being a goddess of Decay and thus skilled with all things related to Decay, Death, and Sickness.
* MakeThemRot: As a goddess of Decay, she has the magical ability to inflict rot and decay on mortal/divine material, as well as speeding up or slowing down the rates of how fast it spreads. She can also make weapons, armor, and even body parts wither with a touch, making her extremely dangerous. Her entry notes that this power is actually important, as decay allows living organisms to release nutrients back into the earth so new things can grow.
* MeaningfulName:
** Her name means "decline" or "decay" in Icelandic, which is rather appropriate for a goddess who embodies things like Death, Poverty, Decay, and Sickness.
** The name of her scythe, ''Dánarbróðir'', translates to "death-bringer" in Icelandic. She's a goddess of Death as well as things commonly associated with it like Poverty, Decay, and Sickness, though she uses them for constructive purposes.
* MixAndMatchCritters: Like her father, relatives, and siblings, she is a Deer-Draconequus, though in her case she has chimeric animal traits that pertain to Death and Decay, such as the tail of a termite queen, the fangs of a vampire bat, the extra legs of a cockroach, and a gigantic pair of death's-head hawkmoth wings.
* NightmareFetishist: Since fawnhood, she was fascinated with death and decay, and how they allowed things to live die, and be reborn in a continuous cycle. This is what drew her to plagues and medicine, something her father Bolezn was eager to teach her. However, it's deconstructed as she was largely unaware of how death can personally affect people until she lost her mother, who died in a genocidal pogrom when she was crushed by a collapsing building. After being emotionally abused by Stækka out of resentment and hatred for embodying death, she imprisoned herself in a pocket realm, seeing herself as an abomination whose only purpose in life is to inflict pain and suffering. It's after she's freed by her family and shown exactly why things like death and decay are needed that she gains a true understanding of her own nature, reconstructing the trope.
** She [[AdmiringTheAbomination also]] starts becoming [[VillainousCrush infatuated]] with [[AnimalisticAbomination Moon Ray/Canticum Lunae]]'s Alpine form because it [[BodyHorror makes him look like the rotting corpse of an Alicorn]], which by her standards makes Moon Ray/Canticum Lunae look "handsome". He gently turns her down because he's already married to someone else.
* OhCrap: She was deeply frightened when she foresaw the consequences of her daughter Vyléčit continuing to puristically pursue the 'good' aspects of Healing and Medicine, and warned Stækka about it. It led to Stækka confronting Vyléčit and showing her the truth of why she was born with 'good' domains despite being evil.
* PerpetualPoverty: Justified and invoked.
** Because Hnignun is a goddess of Poverty, she's at her strongest in extremely impoverished areas, so unlike Stækka's hell-fief, which has hidden caches of wealth everywhere, her hell-fief has none. Her hell-fief is also described as being a place that's in a perpetual state of decay and death, while Stækka's hell-fief is essentially a verdant paradise. Despite this, she's satisfied with what little she has, and she, her siblings/children who live with her, and her infernal servants/champions are able to live comfortably despite the poor environment.
** It's also used by Hnignun as a punishment. Any Erobreseg Deer who greedily hoarded wealth at the expense of others will be forever cursed to live in extreme poverty after death, unable to earn even slight monetary success no matter what they do. It helps that as a goddess of Poverty, she can magically destroy money and other treasures, and curse victims with bad monetary luck.
* {{Plaguemaster}}: As a goddess of Sickness, she embodies Bolezn's diseased aspects, and is a skilled scientist and plague-maker like her father. Her body can magically generate all kinds of virulent bacteria, plagues, and diseases that she can spread in various ways, whether through touch or as a toxic smog that she breathes onto her enemies. She can turn animals into living disease carriers that infect people upon being bitten by one. Her domain makes her incapable of becoming sick, and she can easily absorb and consume diseases as if they're food. It also allows her to create new plagues by combining the bacteria generated by her with existing samples of other diseases. Because they share similar powers and natures, she [[DaddysGirl feels closer to Bolezn]], who eagerly encouraged her inclinations for plagues and medicine and taught her all that he knew.
* PsychicLink: She shares a [[TwinTelepathy telepathic link]] with Stækka due to their portfolios and natures being closely intertwined, which sets them apart from identical twins like Belyolen and Temnobog, who are magically bonded, and Blue Suede Heartstrings and Bossa Nova Heartstrings, who are empathically and now telepathically bonded. Their telepathic link allows them to work together without struggle between them, as they can share plans and strategies extremely quickly. However, it's noted that it's also a huge weakness; whenever one of them is psychically attacked, the other will feel their psychic pain. Being telepathically connected to Stækka also initially contributed to her insecurities and self-loathing towards her nature as a goddess of Death and Decay, since she was mentally exposed to her brother's increasingly hateful and puristic mindset at the time.
* SealedEvilInACan: Invoked. After starting to see death - and by extension, ''herself'' - as a force that will only cause pain and misery for everyone, she decided to seal herself away in a pocket dimension, enlisting help from her oldest siblings and cousins to produce chains and magical seals to imprison herself with. She then made them swear themselves to secrecy... then it's subverted when one cousin, Prince Touha, revealed what happened to the rest of their family out of guilt. Upon being freed, she begged to be resealed, only for Temnobog to show her exactly what happens if death is not allowed to exist in the world, [[VillainousBreakdown leaving her extremely depressed knowing her actions caused more suffering]].
* {{Seers}}: As a goddess of Decay, she has precognitive abilities that predict the chances of natural and financial loss, allowing her to prevent or encourage said losses. Many Deer and non-Deer residents of the Erobreseg Deer Realms have prayed to her to learn how to prepare for future disasters to ensure their own successes and survival.
* ASharedSuffering: She tends to bond with motherless people due to losing her mother to a genocidal pogrom at a young age. One of said people is Blue Suede Heartstrings, who [[NeverGotToSayGoodbye lost his mother to sickness in the Second Age while he was away fighting in the 'Second Maretian-Tellusian War']].
* ShipperOnDeck: Much like Stækka, she approves of Stoltur's friendship with Blue Suede Heartstrings and genuinely wants them to become a couple, but is more low-key about it, unlike her enthusiastic brother. Stoltur finds this rather annoying. Her shipping later comes true, though, when Blue Suede and Stoltur eventually fall in love and get married after the former makes a full psychological recovery.
* SinisterScythe: She has a scythe named ''Dánarbróðir'', which was carved from the branch of a dead divine tree and thus looks rotting and diseased. She's also an evil Deer-Draconequus goddess of Death, Poverty, Decay, and Sickness who has no qualms over experimenting on people and making them die horribly in various ways, though she's more AffablyEvil like many of her immediate family and uses her evil for constructive purposes.
* SpontaneousWeaponCreation: Justified. She can summon magical copies of weapons from thin air, which her Death domain allows her to do.
* SuperEmpowering: As a goddess of Sickness, she can empower animals by turning them into living disease carriers, so being bitten by an animal empowered by Hnignun can leave someone infected.
* {{Transflormation}}: Invoked by her as a punishment. She punishes the souls of unfettered {{Immortality Seeker}}s by turning them into rotting trees as a perversion of their desire for unending life, [[AndIMustScream forcing them to live in complete agony]].
* TwinTelepathy: [WIP]
* VillainousCrush: She starts developing a crush on Moon Ray/Canticum Lunae after his [[EldritchTransformation re-Ascension]] because one of his forms resembles a rather ghastly-looking corpse, [[NightmareFetishist which she likes]]. Moon Ray/Canticum Lunae gently turns her down because he's already married to someone else.

Azab (her entry [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Codex-Equestria-Deities-and-Divines-Part-64-897831515 here]]) is the uplifted Cobra goddess of Suffering, Torture, Pain, and Evil, and one of Phykti's more unusual children.
----
* AlliterativeName: Her title is "the '''S'''erpent of '''S'''uffering".
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: She's a Cobra goddess who embodies Suffering, Torture, Pain, and Evil.
* BadPowersBadPeople: She's a cruel, sadistic Cobra goddess who embodies Suffering, Torture, Pain, and Evil, with many of her powers revolving around both inflicting and spreading suffering, pain, and evil. However, it's subverted as while she did start out as a living torture instrument for a vile Erobreseg Hydianite witch, she despised her mistress so much that she sided with Phykti, who taught her constructive Evil to better focus her sadistic tendencies.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Despite originally being [[WickedWitch Bolesť]]'s familiar, she quickly sided with Phykti. This is due to Phykti being the first person to not only genuinely treat her nicely despite being a goddess of Cruelty, but also grant her sapience (and therefore free will and the ability to express her inner thoughts), whereas Bolesť constantly abused and used her as a weapon to torture victims with right after creating her.
* BlatantLies: She falsely assures the wicked soul of her former mistress, Bolesť, that she "won't be too rough" in regards to her punishment, before proceeding to do the exact opposite in retribution for how many times Bolesť used her to torture innocent people to death.
* BreakingTheCycleOfBadParenting: Despite being Bolesť's {{Familiar}}, she was also by all intents and purposes her daughter, as Bolesť created her by transferring a part of her own soul into her pet Cobra. Presently, she is a good mother to her own children, despite her nature as a goddess of Suffering, Torture, and Pain.
* TheDogBitesBack: After years of being abused and used as a torture device by Bolesť, she grew to resent her mistress, but could only threaten her due to lacking full sapience. Once Bolesť finally dies, she quickly sides with Phykti, who gives her sapience and adopts her as one of her daughters, and was put in charge of Bolesť's postmortem punishment afterward. Her following torments of Bolesť were so horrific that Phykti could only describe her as being a "natural".
--> '''Bolesť:''' N-Now, Azab, I created you!\
'''Azab:''' Oh, mistress, I know. Don't worry, I won't be too rough... after all, you don't need to cause injury to cause more pain than you can imagine, but after how many times you've used me to inflict it on others, you already know that, don't you?
* {{Familiar}}: She was originally a Cobra familiar created by Bolesť, a Erobreseg Hydianite witch, created when Bolesť imparted a piece of her soul onto her. However, Bolesť not only used her to torment and kill innocent people, but also abused her. As a result, she started resenting Bolesť, even threatening her mistress whenever she was mistreated. Once Bolesť is killed, she was taken in by Phykti, who grants her full sapience by replacing the part of Bolesť's soul used to create her with a piece of her own divine essence. This transformed her into a Cobra demigoddess with Deer traits, though she would Ascend to true godhood later on.
* GroinAttack: Her siblings note she has a preference for these. She explains it's because it's such an easy way to cause people agonizing pain... and she finds their reactions amusing.
* TheMagnificent: Known as "the Serpent of Suffering".
* MixAndMatchCritters: Following her uplifting by Phykti and her divine Ascension, she became a huge Cobra goddess with chimeric Deer traits like antlers and Deer-like fur, due to her adoptive mother being part-Deer.
* SnakesAreSinister: She is a cruel, sadistic Cobra goddess who loves inflicting torment and agony upon her victims, though this only applied to the unrepentantly wicked. To heroic and/or constructively evil figures, she is more AffablyEvil. She was originally the {{Familiar}} of a Erobreseg Hydianite witch, who used her as both a weapon and torture instrument, but her mistress was so abusive that she sided with Phykti upon being granted full sapience by the latter.
* SwallowedWhole: Being a Cobra snake, she primarily eats by swallowing her victims whole. She is confused as to why people find this disturbing, as it is completely natural for her kind. Her adoptive uncle, Bolezn, [[FreakyIsCool finds this cool]], however.
--> '''Azab:''' ...What? This is just how snakes eat. They were already dead.
* TortureTechnician: Her creator made her to be a living torture device. After Phykti adopted her and granted her full sapience, she's now a ''goddess'' of Torture, though she now primarily uses it to punish the wicked in her mother's hell-fief.
* UpliftedAnimal: She's a cobra a witch turned into a {{Familiar}} who Phykti ultimately granted full sapience.

\
Lord Knechten (his entry [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Codex-Equestria-Deities-and-Divines-Part-51-848558436 here]]) is the Cervogriff-Draconequus god of Slavery, Coercion, Imprisonment, and Torture, and is one of Phykti's sons.\

Born to Phykti and a Griffon slave trader during an era when chattel slavery was rampant and the international slave trade was booming, Knechten grew up witnessing the evils of slavery from the POV of a perpetrator, and despite his own budding cruelty and sadism grew to despise the immoral institution, especially after his father [[HeelRealization have a change of heart]] following his own harrowing enslavement by other non-Griffon slavers and decides to end their family business as atonement. Knechten, despite eventually ascending as a Bogolenya [[GodOfEvil god of slavery, coercion, imprisonment and torture]], would dedicate his existence tempting, weeding out and punishing those who would enslave others in their greed, cruelty and hatred, swearing to make them suffer by enslaving them in life and in damnation for all the suffering they caused enslaving others.
----
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: He's a Cervogriff-Draconequus god who embodies Slavery, Coercion, Imprisonment, and Torture.
* ArchEnemy: Has one in Kleidóno of the Poenan Pantheon. They both share similar domains, such as Imprisonment, but they oppose each other for various reasons to the point of violence between them and their mortal followers. Kleidóno locks up Knechten's followers along with anyone with the ''smallest'' association with them, while Knechten tempts Kleidóno's followers into giving in to their worst flaws/impulses, [[HeWhoFightsMonsters making them enslave themselves to vices like excessive vengeance and moral blindness]].
* AssShove: In one pre-Ascension incident, this is how he murdered a particularly cruel and depraved Griffon overseer who had a habit of '[[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil pleasuring]]' himself with the slaves under his watch, sometimes with the overseer's own beating rod. To punish the Griffon overseer, Knechten took that same beating rod, added several nails and other sharp bits to it, and [[CruelAndUnusualDeath proceeded to inflict the same tortures the former gave to his victims]].
--> '''Lord Knechten:''' Of course, this time, you are the cargo... and I am the guest. ''(takes out a beating rod full of sharp bits and nails)'' Recognize this beating rod? You must have wondered where it went for so long... ''([[OhCrap Griffon overseer starts to sweat]])'' I made some modifications. It’s just the right size for tonight’s '''''opening''''' act... It’s called 'Point Penetration'... And it would have your repurposed tool in a truly '''''unforgettable''''' starring role!
* AutomaticCrossbows: One of his primary weapons, named ''Onontkoombaar'' ('Inescapable' in Dutch), is a ''Repeating Tribow'' that allows him to fire burst-fires of three bolts (which could then magically separate into even more bolts that could [[FlechetteStorm spray a whole area with deadly bolts]]) or single, powerful bolt shots which could home in on their targets. Knechten uses this to hunt down escaped damned shades/slaves like sport ([[PayingEvilUntoEvil mirroring sadistic overseers and slave-hunters who do the same]]) and thanks to divine enchantments involving 'BagOfHolding' magicks to its compact matchbox-sized munition clips allowing a hundred bolts per reload, [[BottomlessMagazines had never been observed to run out of ammunition in the heat of battle]]. His bolts are also enchanted to various effects, mostly painful or deadly, and could be used to launch his enchanted capture-net ''[[MeaningfulName Vanger]]'' ('Catcher' in Dutch).
* BatmanGambit: When Knechten believed he had done enough in the 'Abolition Wars', he decided to end his participation pulling a spectacular one of these on the slaver nations, [[spoiler:telling them where he and his bases, docks, fortresses and whatever else his faction is using to raid, attack and terrorize the slaver nations during the conflict, knowing they couldn't resist sending an armada against him after all the damage he caused them, allowing him to demoralize, wear down and cripple a substantial amount of the slaver nations' remaining military forces as well as taking out many of their best commanders and generals]]. The success of his ploy is believed to have accelerated the slaver nations and factions' defeat by two years.
* BattleThrall: Knechten has a habit of using these during the 'Abolition Wars', turning the enslaved soldiers and slavers of the slaver nations and factions back to fight and die against their fellow degenerates, and is implied to still use them en-masse after his ascension to godhood, using the damned as cannon fodder. He also supplied Yarost and his scions with enslaved, damned warriors and soldiers for their GladiatorGames, which earned him special combat training from his uncle, cousins and nephews.
* TheChessmaster: Has shades of this, which correlates with his heritage to Phykti, who was known to be deeply intelligent and cerebral as a GodOfEvil and is in friendly competition with her younger brother Bolezn in scheming and masterminding great evils and suffering upon the mortal world.
** As the spectacular finisher of his campaign/rampage against slaver forces during the 'Abolition Wars', the then demigod Knechten plotted an elaborate BatmanGambit that ended up significantly weakening of the Slaver nations' and factions' military forces and eliminating of many of their most capable generals and commanders, accelerating the Abolitionist powers' victory by an estimated two years and causing great amount of suffering upon the slaver forces in the process.
* DeviousDaggers: As a god of Torture, he can transmute his wing feathers into wicked knives, which means he is never out of means to torture his victims, or ammunition to fire a FlechetteStorm on his foes.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes:
** Knechten felt conflicted over having to betray his father eventually if he refused to realize enslaving others is wrong and change his ways. This is because despite him being a slave trader, [[SympatheticSlaveOwner Knechten's father still loved his family dearly and was a good parent]]. Naturally, when his father had a HeelRealization after being enslaved himself and enduring two years of hellish treatment from the Thraceans, Knechten was both relieved he won't have to turn on his father and enraged by his father's ordeal, to the point he would dedicate himself to punishing those who practiced slavery in all forms.
** He's also dating a mortal female abolitionist, and he loves his girlfriend dearly. It's implied that he's keeping his true nature as a god of Slavery and Imprisonment a secret from her because he doesn't want their relationship to end over it, and to protect her from his enemies.
* EvilCounterpart: As an evil god of Slavery and Imprisonment, Knechten serves as a constructive foil to deities and demi-deities like Prince Red Blade, Prince Knight Shade, and Moon Ray Vaughoof, all who oppose him and bear the ability to free those who were enslaved either by others or themselves. Moon Ray in particular contrasts Knechten the most, not only in upbringing and parentage, but also in powers and domains; Water, Temperance, and Forgiveness can help purify poisons and free people from wrongful punishment/enslavement, while Moon Ray's psychic powers in general are able to interfere with Knechten's reality-warping and break his geases.
* {{Foil}}:
** To Prince Red Blade: Both are sons of divine royalty and despise slavery of all kinds. But while Red Blade embodies Freedom and prioritizes the liberation of oppressed serfs/slaves, Knechten embodies Slavery, yet prioritizes the tempting/punishing those who participate and/or condone slavery due to his nature as a constructive evil deity, usually by [[PayEvilUntoEvil enslaving them back]]. When they are not a FriendlyEnemy to each other, they are working with each other to take down even worse villains who enslave others.
** To Moon Ray Vaughoof: Both grew up with fathers who indulged in slavery, except Knechten's father enslaved ''others'', while Moon Ray's father enslaved ''himself'' to [[TheAlcoholic alcohol]]. While Knechten's father eventually redeemed himself, Moon Ray's father did not, which impacted their sons - Knechten grew to despise slavery of all kinds and [[PayEvilUntoEvil tormented anyone who participated in it]], while Moon Ray [[HistoryRepeats suffered from addiction just like his father]] later in life. Knechten is a cruel and sadistic god whose domains give him powers that allow him to enslave, torture, and coerce people, while Moon Ray is a merciful and forgiving god whose domains revolve around freeing people from slavery and addiction. Knechten also Ascended during the "Abolition Wars" by enslaving those who participated in the slave trade, while Moon Ray Ascended by letting go of his vices and forgiving those who wronged him in life, including his abusive father. Knechten is feared and hated for his sadistic and depraved nature, and revels in it, while Moon Ray is a beloved musician who is (initially) rather embarrassed by how people worship him and put him on a pedestal.
** To Prince Knight Shade, the Soul Liberator, noting that having been an actual victim of enslavement and exploitation himself, Knechten respected him for likely understanding the horrors and evils of slavery and coercion ''even better'' than Knechten himself, who watched and experienced it from a distance and never really enduring it himself. They actually collaborate from time to time to free those who had been cursed and enslaved to the will of warlocks/witches, demons and evil/fallen gods or are devoured and imprisoned inside the innards of villainous, titanic beings such as Giants and Dragons, with Knight Shade being the 'Good Cop' to Knechten's 'Bad Cop' in these partnerships.
** To Kleidóno, the Hellish Warden of the Poenan Pantheon, who both share the domain of Imprisonment among other things. While both admired each others' methods in keeping the damned souls being punished in line, both disagree and oppose each other on everything else due to their opposite allegiances and natures, resulting in violent clashes between them and their followers, with Kleidóno trying to lock-up and punish Knechten's worshipers and minions (and just about anyone else remotely associated with him) whenever they are found while Knechten tempts and encourages Kleidóno's followers and subordinates' worst flaws and impulses until they became enslaved by them and descend into full-blown [[BlackAndWhiteInsanity moral blindness]] and [[RevengeBeforeReason vindictiveness]].
* FollowingInRelativesFootsteps: His mortal father, a Griffon merchant who participated in the slave trafficking of individuals from non-Griffon races such as Ponies and Deer, and expected his children - Knechten, especially - to take after him. Despite loving his father (and being loved in turn), Knechten never joined the slave trade because his mother, Phykti, ensured he and his siblings develop empathy for their fellow sapient creatures and see the concept of slavery as the horrific, self-destructive evil it truly is. Ironically, he later ended up following in his ''mother'''s footsteps as a slaver... except he [[PayEvilUntoEvil goes after those who willingly participated in the slave trade and punishes them for their evil by enslaving them in turn]].
* FriendlyEnemy: Despite being an incredibly sadistic and cruel god, Knechten follows "constructive Evil" and thus shares no hard feelings towards those who oppose him. This especially applies to benevolent individuals who counter him in some way, such as Prince Red Blade, Moon Ray Vaughoof, and Prince Knight Shade. Moon Ray Vaughoof in particular isn't really affected by Knechten's horrific cruelty towards slavers and the damned, having seen his adoptive cousins do the same thing to damned shades in Malus Manes' Hell-Realms many times in his efforts to redeem sinners. Each of these individuals understand and accept Knechten for what he is and what he does, and oppose him out of necessity as he intended.
* GodOfEvil: Specifically, he embodies the horrors and evils of slavery, coercion, imprisonment, and torture, even their psychological aspects. He's noted to be sadistic, depraved, and evil [[HorrifyingTheHorror even by the standards of other dark and/or evil deities]], though it's subverted as he uses his domains to punish those who willingly participate in slavery in all forms.
* HalfBreedDiscrimination: Both he and his siblings disguised themselves as normal Griffons for much of their mortal lives to avoid being on the receiving end of anti-hybrid bigotry that was rampant in their homelands at the time. With his Ascension to true godhood, he no longer has to hide his mixed racial heritage.
* HeWhoFightsMonsters: He revealed himself to be actively trying to invoke this with the Poenan Pantheon with their overzealous obsession with punishing the wicked by infiltrating their divine and mortal ranks and pushing them towards greater levels of extremism. The reveal of this made the Poenans paranoid and becoming even more zealous and hardline - [[BatmanGambit which may be what Knechten had in mind as well]].
--> '''Lord Knechten:''' You know what they say about Evil. That it's a 'disgusting' thing that needs to be destroyed for the 'good' of sapientkind. '''''I enjoy watching creatures enslave themselves to the very Evil they try to destroy.'''''
* ItsPersonal: While Knechten already despised slavery due to his exposure to his mortal family's trade, what drove him into full-blown animosity and dedication to punishing slavers whenever they are found was his slaver father being enslaved by others and enduring torturous ordeals for nearly two years (which resulted in a HeelRealization and a HeelFaceTurn). It was especially personal with his father's slave trader rival Grootbruto, who set him up to be captured and enslaved to begin with, and Knechten made sure Grootbruto, most of his family, his overseers/mercenaries and his entire business are utterly broken in the most spectacular and horrific revenge he and his minions are capable of at the time, sparing only those who are not involved in Knechten's father's enslavement or the slave trade in general.
* TheJailer: Serve as this for the damned as well as one of his mother's best torturers. His epitaph is that of the 'overseer of the damned'.
* LastStand: He and his faction made one against the armada the slaver factions and nations' sent after him during latter years of the 'Abolition Wars', which took out all his other bases and fortresses one after another until they eventually cornered them in their last stronghold where he had based himself and his operations throughout the conflict. [[spoiler:This suits him fine, as [[ILetYouWin it was all an elaborate ploy to lure, demoralize, wear down and eventually break a substantial portion of the slaver nations' military forces]], [[BrokeYourArmPunchingOutCthulhu weakening them enough]] that by the time he and his remaining forces withdrew from the conflict, the slaver forces were crippled beyond repair and too weak to survive their subsequent battle with the Abolitionists' own armada sent after them and him. It is estimated [[TheChessmaster Knechten's ploy]] accelerated the slaver nations' defeat in the war by two years]].
* MeaningfulName:
** Knechten means to "enslave", "subjugate", "made to submit" or otherwise "subdue" in Dutch. [[TruthInTelevision Incidentally, the Dutch were also quite involved in the Transatlantic Slave Trade in real life]].
** The names of his weapons are also in Dutch -- ''Wreedheid'' translates to "cruelty", ''[[AutomaticCrossbows Onontkoombaar]]'' translates to "inescapable", and ''[[InescapableNet Vanger]]'' translates to "catcher". Fittingly, all of these weapons were historically used in the slave trade.
* MixAndMatchCritters: Like his mother and siblings, his ascension turned him into one of these on account of his Draconequus side. He have animal parts corresponding mostly to species known to enslave or parasitize others (and thus enslaving those lifeforms for their ends) as part of their life-cycles or habit, as well as those who chases or restraints their prey in their hunting behaviour. Among other things, he had wings of a cuckoo bird (brood parasites), an Anaconda python-like tail and smooth serpentine eyes and scales (as anacondas coils and strangles their prey in an inescapable death-grip), a Dragon's claws to complement his other original Cervogriff Buzzard claw, as well as a draconic horn to his other Deer antler and draconic teeth in his Buzzard-like Deer/Griffon maw (given Dragons' tendency to subjugate and dominate where they don't burn, crush or eat), a stalking Lion's hind-leg to complement his cervine one (like slave-hunters chasing escaped slaves), a pair of antannae from Slave-Making Ants (shaped like itself) above his Cervogriff face.
* OppositesAttract: He is rumoured to have fallen for a [[{{Irony}} mortal Abolitionist]] and is presently dating her, although it's left ambiguous whether she knows who he is, or even who she is.
* PayEvilUntoEvil: His preferred method of punishment, especially regarding his domain of slavery: namely, he enslaves those who enslaves or coerced others in their wickedness, subjecting them to every form of the same torture and degradation they inflicted upon others. He once captured and bound a particularly cruel and depraved Griffon overseer who had a fondness for raping his own slaves, sometimes with his own beating rod. To punish the Griffon overseer, he took the latter's beating rod, modified it with nails and other sharp things, and sodomized his victim with it until he died. The Codex scene in which it took place noted that Knechten was seething with barely-controlled rage even as he enjoyed punishing the Griffon overseer.
* PsychicPowers: He's a Psyker as a result of his domains over torture and coercion, allowing him to either inflict emotional and mental pain and suffering on his targets or geas them into doing his bidding against their own will. However, he is countered by [[Music/StevieRayVaughan Moon Ray Vaughoof]], whose psychic powers are not only stronger than his, they can also interfere with his reality-warping and break his geases.
* RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil: Certainly is of this opinion, and shows no hesitation in [[PayEvilUntoEvil doing this unto the perpetrators as punishment for their carnal debauchery]], especially those who [[SlaveryIsASpecialKindOfEvil coerced or enslaved others]] to be forced upon. A scene-insert heavily implies in his youth he ''[[AssShove sodomized]]'' a Griffon overseer who has a habit of forcing himself young and/or female slaves with his own beating rod (which Knechten modified with many, ''many'' sharp bits) as the opening act of a torturous, karmic death Knechten inflicted upon him. After ascending to godhood, he sold repugnant, carnally-depraved damned souls, male and female alike, to Pokhot and her scions, demons and followers for their harems and seraglio to be violated and degraded for all eternity as payback for their lustful wickedness, and is implied to have his way with them himself, whether personally with his own damned souls of the depraved or during his vacations in Pokhot's hell-fief as a VIP guest.
* {{Sadist}}: Had an innate cruelty and sadism when he and his siblings are still young, thanks to their heritage from their mothers' side, though their mothers' loving upbringing caused them to turn their dark nature only on those who deserved it, sparing the slaves being shipped by their father's business, targeting his [[AssholeVictim overseers and clients]]. After his ascension into godhood, he and his domains caused him to be this even by standards of evil gods. Nothing ''thrills'' him than to see his victims ([[AssholeVictim who he made sure]] [[PayEvilUntoEvil all had it coming]]) squirm as he mercilessly put them to work as slaves, packed like sardines in tiny cells, helplessly made to do his every whim and bidding, and [[TortureTechnician break in agony and despair in his torture racks]].
* SemiDivine: Because he was sired by Phykti through a mortal Griffon merchant slaver, he was born a demigod. His deeds in going after wicked and unrepentant slavers, which culminated in him creating an extremely horrific slaver's empire that reflected the worst aspects of the slave trade towards the end of the Abolition Wars, eventually led to him Ascending to true godhood.
* SexSlave: Is said to have helped his maternal aunt, Pokhot, and her scions and demons set up their [[RoyalHarem debased seraglios and harems]], supplying damned shades of repulsively decadent and perverted males and females to fill them for their enjoyment. This nets him VIP status in Pokhot's hell-fief whenever he visits as a guest to participate in their hedonistic depravities.
* SlaveryIsASpecialKindOfEvil: Despite being a literal god of that domain, Knechten himself ironically despise the immoral institution and dedicates himself to punishing those who participate or enable it, as well as any form of wickedness that involved coercion or subjugation of others.
* SlaveLiberation: Despite being a god of slavery, Knechten hated the immoral institution himself and went on a prolonged liberation crusade/rampage against slaver nations and factions during the 'Abolition Wars' while he was still a demigod, freeing those they had enslaved and offering him either a chance of freedom by fleeing to free lands, or a chance at justice/vengeance against those who enslaved them. Just as many are said to had joined him in his campaign as those who chose to leave as freed people.
* SympatheticSlaveOwner: His father, a Griffon slave trader, is portrayed as one, as despite being deeply involved in the slave trade at the time he loved his family dearly and was more apathetic to the slaves' plight and the immorality of his profession than actively cruel or hateful. That being said, it is not portrayed as exempting him from his crimes in anyway, and he was only considered forgiven and redeemed when after a HeelRealization following being enslaved for a time himself decided to take his family out of the slave trade and [[TheAtoner spent the rest of his life trying to reverse the damage he caused]], buying back the freedom of those he sold and revealing details of his business associates to abolitionist heroes and groups.
* TortureTechnician: One of Phykti's best. His domain of torture allows him to pinpoint with unnerving accuracy the most vulnerable points of a target's physical, emotional and mental constitution and inflict maximum damage and pain. He had been compared with his Fallen aunt Hrůza, the High Duchess of Hysteria in that regard, though he applies it more broadly and with greater versatility.
* WarriorPrince: Knechten's official title is 'Lord', but he is technically a Prince by virtue of his mother Phykti owning her own hell-fief, and his grandfather Temnobog being a co-ruler of the Bogolenya Deer Pantheon (which makes Temnobog a King despite lack of a title). Knechten participated in the 'Abolition Wars' of the Fourth Age which saw many slaver nations and trade networks demolished, including the one which his father had previously profited from as an independent element, fighting apart from the Abolitionist realms and forces (knowing they would likely be not comfortable and even hostile to his presence) to cause as much damage and suffering to the slaver nations and factions on his and his forces' own accord. For years they crusaded/rampaged, demolishing entire slaver groups and kingdoms, enslaving the slavers, overseers and traffickers as punishment for their wickedness and freeing those they had enslaved with the choice to flee to safe havens or join their side exacting justice/vengeance at their enslavers. He became a major thorn on the slavers' side, and his own operations to fund his war effort became so large his faction ended up out-sizing the slaver nations and factions individually.
* WhipOfDominance: As part of his role as a deity of slavery, coercion, and imprisonment, he uses a whip named '' Wreedheid'', made of tarnished leather and serrated metal, as one of his signature weapons, which he can coat with poison, psychic energy and Hellfire to inflict pain and damage to his foes and damned shades. Even the smallest scratches can leave a target [[ManOnFire on fire]], paralyzed in utter agony or overwhelmed by illusions invoking their deepest emotional pain and shame.

[[folder:Noo-Noo]]
Noo-Noo (first introduced [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/836116391/4928210812 here]]) is a sapient vacuum cleaner who was adopted by Prince Dühroham Erobreseg as his son.
----
* AdaptationalBackstoryChange: Unlike ''Series/{{Teletubbies}}'''s version of Noo-Noo, he started out as an ordinary robotic vacuum cleaner created by Dühroham to help with cleaning around the house. Somehow, he managed to gain sapience, and Dühroham, not knowing what to do, decided to adopt him as his son.
* BigEater: He has a huge appetite and it's implied he "cleans up" any food he sees lying around as an excuse to eat them.
* CheerfulChild: He's a sapient robotic vacuum cleaner with the mind of a mischievous colt, who loves playing pranks on people and [[BigEater "cleaning up" whatever food he finds lying around]]. The Bogolenya Deer Pantheon, especially its younger members, find him very adorable because of it.
* CommonalityConnection: He befriended Mercy, a [[{{BFS}} giant sword]] and Prince Red Blade's adoptive daughter, over being sapient inanimate objects.
* {{Expy}}: He's one for Noo-Noo the Vacuum Cleaner from ''Series/{{Teletubbies}}'', even bearing the nickname "Naughty Noo-Noo" for his naughty behavior. However, he does have a few differences in origin and personality - he's a [[ThePrankster prankster]] with the mind of a young colt and loves eating food, and he was originally a robotic vacuum cleaner that eventually gained sapience.
* GrewBeyondTheirProgramming: He was 'born' an ordinary robotic vacuum cleaner that Dühroham built to make house-cleaning easier due to how busy he is as a divine punisher. Somehow, he ended up becoming sapient with the mind of a young colt. Not wanting to task an innocent, childlike being with tormenting the wicked dead, Dühroham decided to adopt him as his son instead.
* HappilyAdopted: He's adopted by Dühroham as his son after he gains sapience, and despite Dühroham being an infernal god, they clearly share a loving father-son relationship.
* LikeFatherUnlikeSon: He's a CheerfulChild who loves pranking people and [[BigEater eating food]]. Meanwhile, his adoptive father, Prince Dühroham Erobreseg, is a furious, sadistic god who embodies unfettered rage and toxic standards of strength, among other things. Despite this, he has a loving father-son relationship with Dühroham, who treats him like his own son.

Princess Vykup (her [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Codex-Equestria-Deities-and-Divines-Part-52-853196348 here]]) is the hybrid Bogolenya Deer-Draconequus goddess of Mercy, Repentance, and Redemption, and is one of Yarost's daughters.
----
* AllLovingHero: She's noted as loving everyone, even sinners, as while she accepts they must face the consequences of their actions if they don't repent and change, she feels sorrow instead of anger when that happens. She genuinely doesn't want to see anyone be condemned if there's a chance they can be saved.
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: She's a Deer-Draconequus goddess who embodies Mercy, Repentance, and Redemption.
* ArmorPiercingResponse: Gives one to her great grandfather Irminsul during a conversation with him when he asks why she'd even care if he dooms himself. Irminsul is left so dumbstruck he can't react long enough for her to hug him before departing:
--> '''Vykup:''' Because you're my great grandpa and I love ye.\
'''High King Irminsul:''' Y-You... Y-You what?!\
'''Vykup''': I love ye. Ye don't want to admit it, but your blood is runnin' through my veins... I saved me mortal mum because for all the evil she did, a chance to repent ain't somethin' anyone deserves, but it's somethin' everyone gets. If I'd do that for her, I'm willin' tah do it for you.
* LastSecondChance: As a goddess of Mercy, Repentance, and Redemption, giving these to mortals is part of her job, which includes kingdoms slated for a 'Calling of the Terrors'.
** Vykup once redeemed her mortal mother, a Trottish dark witch, by making her choose between love for her daughter and her desires to start a kingdom-destroying war, stating that she "can't have both". Her mother ultimiately chose to redeem herself for her daughter's sake. Although Vykup expected her father, Yarost, to be angry with her for ruining his plan to use her mother as an UnwittingPawn to test mortal sapientkind, Yarost didn't, and in fact was actually proud of her for her actions.
** Vykup also gave a Erobreseg Deer kingdom that was slated to be destroyed in a 'Calling of the Terrors' event one last chance to repent, after she [[AintTooProudToBeg begged Yarost to let her do so]]. To everyone's surprise, she managed to convince enough of said kingdom to seek redemption by atoning for their crimes and turning on those who refused to change their wicked ways. This is what allowed her to Ascend to true godhood.
* LikeFatherUnlikeSon:
** In contrast to her inherently violent, merciless and (constructive) evil father, Princess Vykup is peaceful, merciful and good, seeking to redeem souls while her father and siblings seeks to punished those souls for their sins. This causes her a lot of grief initially until she came forward with her feelings and nature and was assured by her [[GoodParents loving father]] that she will not be judged and has his and her siblings' full support in being who she is.
** She's also the only member of Temnobog's side of the family who actually loves Irminsul. While she accepts how rotten his actions were and he ''deserves'' his potential fate, she also acknowledges he's her great grandfather and would prefer seeing him redeemed than destroyed.
* LoveRedeems: Vykup's mortal witch mother loved her daughter despite her evil and villainy, and could not bring herself to harm her daughter when she got in her way of her grand evil scheme. This love allowed Vykup to get through and eventually redeem her.
* TheMagnificent: Known as "the Princess of Repentance", due to embodying Repentance and actively working in helping wicked people achieve redemption by making them atone for their sins.
* MixAndMatchCritters: As a Deer-Draconequus hybrid, she has chimeric traits like her father and infernal relatives. In her case, her chimeric traits are based on animals that are related to mercy and redemption, such as lambs, phoenixes, and oxen.
* PurgatoryAndLimbo: She rules over the pantheon's 'Purgatory-Realm,' which serves to test and attempt to lead souls who are still redeemable to admit to their sins so they can go to a Heaven-Realm.
* RedemptionEarnsLife: Vykup's personality, domains and role compels her to implore and encourage villains and lost souls still living to turn around and redeem themselves before their actions causes them to be inevitably be destroyed, be it by their own hooves or by heroes. Those who heeds her and redeem themselves are often spared from death and damnation.
** She most likely saved her witch mother's life when she stopped her from carrying a grand evil scheme which would had marked her as beyond redemption and got her to repent.
** She is often the one sent to lands within the Bogolenya Deer Pantheon's sphere of influence which had been marked for a 'Calling of the Terrors', imploring the denizens there to repent and giving them a LastSecondChance on behalf of the gods before they are subjected to the pantheon's measure of last resort. Those who heed her message and repented are often spared from being exterminated by the Four Terrors, be it the land as a whole or as part of the uncorrupted population who are evacuated from the condemned lands before the axe falls.
* SympathyForTheDevil:
** It's noted to be part of her very nature to have this for sinners, as she'd much prefer they repent and change their ways than be condemned. This includes her mother and even kingdoms so corrupt that 'Calling the Terrors' is seen as their fitting punishment.
** This includes her great grandfather Irminsul, who she still loves as family. This makes her one of the only members of Temnobog's side of the family who has any compassion for him. She's this to the point she went to him to plead with him to repent and admit his sins before it was too late and he lost what was left of his family.
* TokenGoodTeammate: One of the very few children of the Four Terrors to ''not'' be evil aligned at all, not even 'Constructive Evil.' This caused her emotional problems because she tried to make her father proud, but couldn't bring herself to be evil. Yarost, however, [[GoodParents completely]] [[EvenEvilHasLovedOnes understood]].

* BodyHorror: As a [[CreepyCentipedes Kami no Mukade]], he gives his host a form of pseudo-immortality at the cost of turning them into a living, infested corpse. This was originally Shàngtiān Jiùēn's intended fate until he [[DeityOfHumanOrigin Ascended to godhood]] by accepting Dìyù Shēnghuó, the living embodiment of Shàngtiān's repressed darker personality traits and traumas.
* CreepyCentipedes: Subverted. Originally, Tiān Wúgōng was inserted into his body to grant him pseudo-immortality, but with the price of [[AgeWithoutYouth turning him into a centipede-infested corpse after reaching a certain age]]. However, once he Ascends to godhood by accepting his own flaws and darker urges, his apotheosis transforms Tiān Wúgōng into a Divine Creature with dual forms and turns their bond into a mutually symbiotic one where both lives are sustained by each other -- if one of them dies, the other dies, too. Tiān Wúgōng is very loyal to its master and, due to his blindness, serves as his guide and protector.
* GoldAndWhiteAreDivine: As Tiān Wúgōng, he appears as a golden centipede.
* MeaningfulName: Tiān Wúgōng translates to "heavenly centipede" in Chinese, which highlights his loyalty to Shàngtiān/Dìyù as well as his golden form and divine connections. On the other hand, Dìyù Wúgōng translates to "hell centipede" in Chinese, which refers to the black, monstrous form he takes under that name.
