Malicious Looping Entities are Loopers who harm Yggdrasil's stability instead of helping it. The exact opposite of Anchors, though fortunately they're rare.
----
[[foldercontrol]]

[[folder:Kyubey]]
Responsible for the loss of the entire ''Puella Magi'' Branch of Yggdrasil, Kyubey is considered to be the most dangerous MLE to ever live, which is only made worse by the fact that he cannot actually feel emotions.
----
* ArchEnemy: To Madoka, given what happened to their home Loop and his responsibility for its fate.
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: Like in Baseline, Kyubey doesn't see things in the same way most lifeforms do, making him unable to be reasoned with.
* TheDreaded: A particularly strong case even by MLE standards due to the fact that he managed to wipe out an entire Branch of Yggdrasil, perhaps making him the first individual to do so in any capacity.
** He fits this so much that when Chrysalis Awakened to find all of her Changelings replaced by him, not only did she feel the appropriate response was to apologize to her Anchor and teleport both of them into the Sun to crash the Loop, Twilight '''completely''' agreed with her when she got a chance to ask why a few loops later.
* EvenEvilHasStandards:
** Even he is annoyed and appalled by [[LethallyStupid Billy]]'s antics.
** After a stealth Loop in the ''Winx Club'' universe he found necessary to warn Flora of something he discovered about Bloom's powers that would put to risk all the universes if anyone else gets their hands on it, and told Carmen Sandiego to ''never'' teach the Trix [[ImpossibleThief the thieving skills typical of her crew]] in spite of their {{Punny Name}}s and already being low-level [[ImpossibleThief Impossible Thieves]] because, as unhinged as they are, achieving those skills would put them on par with the [=MLEs=].
* EvilMentor: Informed [[Anime/YuGiOhArcV Reiji Akaba]] about Looping and subspace Pockets, in place of a regular Looper.
* INeedAFreakingDrink: Went on a bender after meeting Billy. Nobody blamed him.
* KarmaHoudini: Tricked Madoka into Ascending, which destroyed her universe, and got away scot-free. Similarly got away with his actions in the ''Blue Exorcist'' verse, with his only ramifications being an ''Eiken'' Loop with Yukio.
* MasterOfDisguise: Passed an entire Loop in the ''Winx'' verse disguised as Bloom's pet bunny. He implies he does similar tricks often.
* [[NonActionBigBad Non-Action MLE]]: Kyubey does not fight other Loopers to get his destruction done in-Loop, unlike most [=MLEs=] who are prone to violence.
* SuperEmpowering: Still offers this, though most Loopers refuse to even consider it. However, non-Loopers are still targets, as seen with [[SuperStrength Shiemi]] [[GreenThumb Moriyama]], who later became a Looper herself with the same powers.
* WillNotTellALie: Kyubey does not lie, he simply speaks in [[MetaphoricallyTrue half-truths and "from a certain point of view"]]. This is particularly notable during his Loop into the ''Blue Exorcist'' verse - he technically never lies to Shiemi when he says that the witch they are tracking down is responsible for the disappearance of her class mate Izumo (the witch was Izumo), or that Rin was affected by Satan's flames and that he got it when his adopted father was killed (he simply omitted the how).
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Dio Brando]]
The adopted brother of Jonathan Joestar turned evil vampire, he began Looping because of his connection to his so-called brother, and has been causing problems for everybody else in the multiverse ever since.
----
* ArchEnemy: To the ''Jojo'' Loopers, Pikachu, and Flora.
* DraggedIntoDrag: Dio didn't want to crossdress in the first place, but was forced into being put into a dress with fairy wings after being defeated by [[WesternAnimation/WinxClub the Winx]].
* TheDreaded: Particularly for being the most dangerous MLE in a one-on-one fight.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Quite averted. Unlike Kyubey, he is not "evil" by fault of different perspectives. He is evil with human perspectives on morality.
* PragmaticVillainy: Dio eventually realized, in no small part thanks to [[WesternAnimation/TheGrimAdventuresOfBillyAndMandy Mandy]], that his plan was never going to be done when everyone knows his weaknesses, and eventually realized that if he has an entire section devoted to himself then it's obvious that he has way too many potential enemies. With all this in mind, Dio has begun his path to try and rid himself of the MLE label.
* TimeStandsStill: While nowhere near as dangerous of an ability as it was in Baseline, due to the fact that many other Loopers have also picked up at least one ability that allows them to manipulate time themselves, it is still more than enough to throw many of the less-experienced Loopers off-guard just enough to pick them off with ease.
* VillainsOutShopping: Currently enjoying a very successful career as a musician after ID of the ''Xenogears'' Branch hired him as a bass player for his heavy metal band, the Demons of Elru.
* WhamLine: ''"I, DIO, have solemnly sweared to [[KnowWhenToFoldEm give up on Ascending while Yggdrasil's being repaired]], and thus, have given up on being an MLE."''
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Waltz]]
A modified clone of Roll Light from the future, this robot managed to exploit a loophole to get herself Looping, with any sort of physical contact with her original counterpart being the trigger for her to Awaken.
----
* AlwaysABiggerFish: Waltz is undeniably dangerous, but she's only capable of causing a Level 4 even at her worst. Compare that to the Level 2 event that destroyed the Unknown Loop.
* AntiClimax: [[spoiler:Waltz was eventually dealt with for good by this manner, not even with so much as fanfare on the part of anyone familiar with her on screen. She simply had her code fixed.]]
* AxCrazy: Unlike Quint, Waltz is completely insane.
* TheDreaded: Not even her "brother" Quint can stand her.
* HiddenDepths: Buried under layers of psychosis, though. And she did genuinely love [[spoiler:Metal Sonic]]. But she liked killing more.
** Worse, it's implied some of her hidden depths just make her angry, and therefore more unstable.
* KickTheDog: In one Loop, Waltz wasn't Awake and was an ally to Roll in a fight against an evil Quint's plan. Then, a virus he made uploaded into Waltz, and she Awoke. She then promptly made a point of rubbing this in Roll's face, adding the Unawake Waltz was still in there somewhere, and that she'd try and drag her through to the next Loop.
* OmnicidalManiac: And proud of it.
* OneWingedAngel: Manages to turn herself into a copy of Metal Sonic's Metal Overlord form. It doesn't last very long.
* RetGone: [[spoiler:Thanks to The Refactoring clearing enough of Waltz's code to reveal that she's not in fact a Looper in any way, she was effectively reset back to her Baseline personality.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Paradox]]
A CrisisCrossover Villain from the ''Yu-Gi-Oh'' Loops who believes the card game will destroy the world (not without reason).
----
* TheDreaded: To the ''Yu-Gi-Oh'' Loopers after his Awakening, but not so much to Loopers abroad due to the guy only appearing once.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: His actions are solely driven on being from a BadFuture and only seeks to destroy the Duel Monsters card game. It is implied that after looping out of the ''Yu-Gi-Oh'' verse, Paradox will probably calm down. ''Probably.''
[[/folder]]

[[folder:The Tick]]
Anchor and Looping threat all in one, the Tick is convinced he's destined to be a hero and that his actions are helping. They really aren't.
----
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Just like his entire home universe, he is a strange guy.
* ObliviouslyEvil: He doesn't think what he is doing is wrong. Everyone else begs to differ.
* SpannerInTheWorks: His crashing of a ''VideoGame/FusionFall'' loop gets all of [[WesternAnimation/CodenameKidsNextDoor Sector V]] looping.
* TokenGoodTeammate: Much like Billy, he isn't actively trying to hurt anything. He just thinks he can stop the loops by doing what he does and no attempt at telling him otherwise will change his mind.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: He does what he does because he thinks he can help stop the Loops.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:"Nightmare"]]
A sentient computer virus/[[EldritchAbomination God-Knows-What]] that plagues the ''Mega Man'' Loops. It's aware of the Loops, and it wants ''out''.
----
* DemonicPossession: How it spreads. Might have taken over Dr. Light at least once during the attempts to get the Megaverse going. In another, it apparently got to Dr. Wily, Sigma, Dr. Weil, and Dr. Albert (and possibly others) and fused them together.
* TheDreaded: Blues is still terrified by this thing.
* HeroKiller: Is responsible for the Crash, and the loss of the Unknown Loop. Before that, it was trying to turn the Anchor of that Loop, along with Rock, Roll, and Blues, into fuel to escape into the Loops.
* KarmaHoudini: It managed to survive the Crash by hiding away inside Dr. Wily. [[spoiler:@nd Blues. And possibly elsewhere.]]
* KnightOfCerebus: When this thing shows up, no matter how bad the situation might be, things will get so much worse.
* NoNameGiven: "Nightmare" isn't actually its name, but the result of a misunderstanding by the Troper who first added the character to this page. But it is at least fitting (and better than nothing at all).
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Billy]]
Billy from ''WesternAnimation/TheGrimAdventuresOfBillyAndMandy'' is an odd case of MLE, in that he's not actively evil or has an overall goal. He's just ''so ragingly stupid'' that he's a danger to not only those around him, but also quite possibly himself.
----
* AchievementsInIgnorance: Managed to accomplish some flat-out impossible goals simply because he was too stupid to realize they were impossible, whether he did it intentionally or not. Some of his achievements include:
** Accidentally killing several near-omnipotent Loopers - Han Solo, Anakin Skywalker (whom he killed ''twice''), Twilight Sparkle...
** Managed to cause Han and Anakin to bond over their mutual loathing of him.
** Annoyed another possibly-insane person (Caboose) to the point they became temporarily sane and shot him.
** Responsible for [[{{Jerkass}} Gendo]] [[ManipulativeBastard Ikari]] becoming a Looper.
** [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking Annoyed]] [[TheDreaded Kyubey]] enough to make him show some emotions by driving him to [[INeedAFreakingDrink needing a drink]].
** Managing to crash ''[[BeyondTheImpossible three Punishment Loops!]]''
* BeyondTheImpossible:
** Punishment Loops usually lock a Looper's abilities and Pocket, usually [[RailRoading railroads]] them into the Loop's baseline plot no matter what they do, and are among some of the most stable Loops on Yggdrasil. Billy has managed to crash three of them.
** Billy is responsible for causing Gendo Ikari to Loop. Loopers are usually activated based on how close their relationships are to the Branch's Anchor and other Loopers - the more familiar and positive the connection, the more likely the character is to begin Looping. Gendo was not only hated by all the ''Evangelion'' Loopers but by most of the multiverse, as ''Evangelion'' is one of the seven oldest Looping universes and thus most Loopers have met (and come to hate) his Baseline self. The only non-MLE more hated than him is Dolores Umbridge (from another of the seven oldest Looping universes), so the idea of ''him'' Looping was inconceivable. Billy managed it anyway.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Quite possibly the most dangerous example in all of Yggdrasil because his strange and stupid behavior can crash Loops without him deliberately trying to.
* TheDreaded: While all [=MLEs=] are this to some degree, Billy is by far the worst case among them simply because he can't be reasoned with. He's not causing damage to Yggdrasil because he ''wants'' to, but because he's a complete moron who not only doesn't know any better but is also completely physically and mentally ''incapable'' of knowing any better. Not only that, but his stupidity allows him to do downright-impossible things, meaning that, unlike other [=MLEs=], the only safe way to neutralize him is to kill him. It's telling that he's so stupid that even ''other [=MLEs=]'' fear and hate him.
* EnsembleDarkHorse: Everyone expected an MLE from his world, they just thought it would be Mandy instead.
* HanlonsRazor: This, or more specifically Grey's Law, is the reason he's an MLE despite not actually being malicious. He doesn't set out to hurt others, but his stupidity leads to him taking actions with horrible consequences.
* LethallyStupid: Billy is classified as an MLE, despite not being actively evil, because his constant creation of big problems for other people through his stupidity in canon is amplified in a multiversal setting to him frequently making Loops crash and killing Anchors by pure accident.
* NonIndicativeName: He's labelled a Malicious Looping Entity despite not being malicious in any way.
* NonMaliciousMonster: He really isn't evil or actively trying to harm others. He's just ''so utterly stupid'' that it's nearly (and sometimes ''actually'') lethal to those around him, and sometimes himself too.
* TokenGoodTeammate: He's the only MLE who is not actively evil. He's just so completely stupid that he becomes a major threat to everyone around him.
* TooDumbToLive: His actions frequently get himself killed in the Loops, along with quite a few others who are in the same Loop with him. Also crosses into Too Dumb To Allow To Live, since his status as an MLE means that most Loopers will attempt to kill him on sight.
** Loop-Aware Entities and those that are close enough to Loop-Aware to make little difference get in on it, too. Goetia has outright shown up and told all of Chaldea that "Ending this timeline is a mercy" on Billy's arrival before doing his thing and crashing the Loop, and The Witcher's Gaunter O'Dimm has been mentioned as making sure to get him creatively killed every single time he shows up.
[[/folder]]

----
!!Supposed [=MLEs=]

[[folder:Face [=McShooty=] ]]
An insane, suicidal mook who ''claims'' to be a Level 1 MLE in MLP Loops 71.2.
----
* AmbiguousSituation: There's no actual proof he's an MLE; it's quite likely he's just lying to get Gilda to shoot him in the face. Or maybe he really is as dangerous as he says, and is happy to use it as an excuse.
* DeathSeeker: As in ''VideoGame/Borderlands2'', he just really wants to be shot in the face.
