!!Guy Eli Hamdon/[=SheZow=]
!!!Voice Actors: David-Myles Brown (Australia and New Zealand), Creator/SamuelVincent (US, Canada, and UK)
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shezow_featuredx400.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:(l) Guy, (r) [=SheZow=]]]
The main protagonist and his alter-ego, the titular superheroine. Guy was weirded out by his new identity for about two minutes before deciding that the superpowers and [[ThemeNaming she-matic super gadgets]] were well worth the price of wearing a girly costume. Being the one with the super strength, (s)he naturally does all the heavy lifting, but also has to work personal appearances into his/her schedule, as [=SheZow=] is a very public figure in Megadale.
----
* AntiHero: Guy's a good person at heart, and he always saves the day in the end, but he also causes a lot of property damage, is frequently arrogant and egotistical, and sometimes causes the problem of the episode to begin with. [[spoiler:It's even pointed out in "Supernatural History" that part of the reason Aunt Agnes chose him over Kelly to be [=SheZow=] was because he thinks like a villain.]]
* BigNo: Gets one after he's informed by his sister Kelly that the ring he's wearing can't come off and is forced to carry the burden of being [=SheZow=] for the rest of his natural life, this also inadvertently triggers his/her [[SuperScream sonic scream power]], breaking the mirror, and discovering the entrance to his late aunt's secret lair.
* BlueIsHeroic: In his civilian outfit, Guy wears a dark blue hoodie, and is the main hero of the series.
* BroughtToYouByTheLetterS: [=SheZow=] has one on "her" chest.
* ButtMonkey: Along with being forced to [[DraggedIntoDrag dress in drag]] against his will any time danger comes up, Guy's SuperToughness ensures he suffers no small number of indignities. In the opening sequence alone, he comically falls over twice and even smashes into the screen the second time (uttering a pained "Ow!" as the title comes up).
%%* CallingYourAttacks
* CharacterDevelopment: He initially hates being [=SheZow=] and is extremely uncomfortable with the idea, to the point where he frequently stumbles over his cape and heels. As the show goes on, he gradually comes to accept and even like it, and he becomes less clumsy as [=SheZow=].
** In "Guy & Doll", Baby Scarington tries to scare Guy in his dream by transporting him to a football field while he's still wearing his [=SheZow=] costume. When one of the players points out that he's wearing a dress, he is initially taken aback, but quickly regains his confidence and embraces it.
--->'''Player:''' Are you wearing a dress?\
'''Guy:''' ''[briefly looks taken aback, before recovering and standing confidently]'' Yes, I am! You got a problem with that?
** In "Crash Thunder", while trying to get Crash Thunder to face his fear of trolls, Guy points out that he was terrified the first time he wore the [=SheZow=] outfit.
--->'''[=SheZow=]:''' You ready to face your fear, champ?\
'''Crash Thunder:''' No! Let's leave! You don't know what it's like to have a secret fear!\
'''[=SheZow=]:''' ''[chuckles nervously]'' I was scared to death the first time I ever wore this costume out in public.
** When Kelly takes the ring (and with it, the role of [=SheZow=]) from Guy in "[=SheZow=] for a Day", Guy starts to feel empty and bored without the ability to become [=SheZow=], and eventually takes the ring back by the end of the episode.
* TheChosenOne: According to Aunt Agnes, the ring chooses its wearer and there's a reason Guy was selected. [[spoiler:After Guy gets a chance to speak with the ghost of Aunt Agnes in "Supernatural History", she reveals that she's always intended for Guy to have the ring. In her own words, Guy is innovative and thinks like a villain, which makes him the best person for the job.]]
* ColorCodedCharacters: Dark blue as Guy, pink/white as [=SheZow=].
* DarkIsNotEvil: During one episode where he went DarkerAndEdgier so he could get a graphic novel, Guy dyed his pink outfit (and everything else) black and spoke in a deep growl, but remained the same hero he always was.
* DestructiveSaviour: He causes a lot of collateral damage in his fights. "[=SheZow=] for a Day" opens with him accidentally wrecking an entire city block while fighting a giant robot.
%%* DisguisedInDrag: No kidding.
* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: The foolish sibling to Kelly's responsible sibling. Guy is a laid-back goofball who never wanted to be [=SheZow=] in the first place and frequently (particularly early on) abuses his powers for personal gain, while Kelly is serious, studious, wanted to be [=SheZow=] from the start, and frequently nudges Guy to do the right thing.
* GenderConcealingVoice: Guy often speaks in a high pitched voice as [=SheZow=], but slips up from time to time.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: With Maz. They've been best friends since before the start of the show and have an inseparable bond, with Maz being one of the very few people Guy trusts with his secret identity.
* IronicName: His first name is Guy. Considering the series is based on him posing as the most feminine superhero imaginable, him having a very masculine name is extremely ironic.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He's not the most conventionally heroic figure and has a tendency to be arrogant, selfish, and egotistical, but at heart he's a good person.
* KidHero: Only 12 years old, but he frequently battles against adult supervillains and saves the day in every episode.
* TheKlutz: Being able to walk or run in heels is not part of Guy's powerset, and so he naturally trips and falls over - most notably in the opening sequence, where he falls over twice - a lot as the show goes on.
* LegacyCharacter: [=SheZow=]'s ring, powers and identity are tied with Guy's bloodline and have been passed down from mother to daughter and aunt to niece (or nephew, in Guy's case) since prehistory.
* MakeupWeapon: [=SheZow=]'s "Beautility Belt" contains several makeup weapons:
** Compact Communicator, a compact mirror that doubles as a communication device.
** Laser Lipstick, a lightsaber-esque weapon disguised as a tube of pink lipstick.
** Mega Mascara Whiplash, a mascara-themed whip the hero used to battle Tara.
** Vanishing Cream, a special cream that grants the user invisibility when applied.
* MrViceGuy: He's not above abusing his new powers for personal gain and often has to be brought back down to Earth for the moral of the episode, but at heart, Guy's a noble, heroic individual.
* MundaneUtility: He sometimes abuses [=SheZow=]'s appearance and abilities for non-heroic things, such as posing as a babysitter so he, Kelly, and Maz could have the house to themselves, or using vanishing cream to sneak into a movie theatre to watch ''Buttwipe 3D''.
* PinkGirlBlueBoy:
** ZigZagged with his alternate universe counterpart [=DudePow=]. The female-presenting [=SheZow=] wears a pink bodysuit while the male-presenting [=DudePow=] wears a blue suit instead, playing the intended dynamic straight. However, Guy ([=SheZow=]) is male, while Gal ([=DudePow=]) is female, inverting the dynamic as well.
** Guy somehow manages to play this with ''himself''. As the female-presenting [=SheZow=], he wears a pink supersuit, while his usual male identity as Guy Hamdon wears a blue hoodie.
* RealMenWearPink: Though it's not by choice, once he has a chance to get used to it, Guy is perfectly secure in his manhood while dressed as [=SheZow=].
* SpeaksFluentAnimal: [[spoiler:As of "[=SheSquatch=]" Guy can now talk to animals and understand everything they say.]]
* SuperGenderBender: Guy Hamdon discovers the superheroine [=SheZow=]'s ring of power inherited from his late Aunt Agnes; then subsequently puts it on and transforms into a female costumed crime-fighter by uttering the phrase "You Go Girl!". That said, it's purely crossdressing with no actual [[GenderBender gender bending]] involved; when some old people see Guy transforming into [=SheZow=] in "Missing Link", he sets the record straight:
-->'''Old Lady:''' You were just a little boy a second ago!\
'''Old Man:''' And then, bada-bing, and boom, and suddenly, you're a girl!\
'''Guy/[=SheZow=]:''' No, you're wrong, I'm still a boy. I just change clothes by a magical she-lecular transformation.
* SuperStrength: As [=SheZow=], Guy has strength beyond any normal human. In the theme song, he lifts a police car. [[spoiler:In "Null and Void", he's so strong that he can temporarily hold up ''the moon''.]]
* UniversalDriversLicence: (S)he can drive a car, and pilot a submarine and a plane, despite being only 12 years old.
* WholesomeCrossdresser: As [=SheZow=], Guy is noble and selfless; even if Guy sometimes abuses his powers for his own entertainment and occasionally personal gain.

[[folder:Kelly Hamdon]]
!!Kelly Hamdon
!!!Voice Actor: Diana Kaarina
[[quoteright:262:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kelly_hamdon_8.jpg]]

Guy's older twin sister, president of the official [=SheZow=] fanclub, and the superheroine's self-proclaimed number 1 fan. Unlike Guy, Kelly jumped at the chance to actually become her idol and would have if not for his interference. She takes it in stride, though, and becomes [=SheZow=]'s backup with her in-depth knowledge of everything she-lated: powers, gadgets, and enemies alike. As the more serious-minded of the siblings, Kelly constantly has to remind Guy that he has she-sponsibilities as a superhero. Heroine. Whatever.
----
* AscendedFangirl: ZigZagged. She, the president of the [=SheZow=] fan club, was originally meant to become [=SheZow=] herself, but Guy took the ring and became the heroine instead. That said, she's content with being [=SheZow=]'s mentor, and in "[=SheZow=] for a Day", she actually does get to become [=SheZow=] ([[StatusQuoIsGod for a day]]).
* BigSisterInstinct: While she's only a minute older than Guy, she's a lot more mature, and gets protective when he's genuinely threatened. See her furious (if mixed-up) "You leave my sister alone!" in "Meet Dr. Frankenweather."
* ColorCodedCharacters: Purple.
* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: The responsible sibling to Guy's foolish sibling.
%%* GracefulLadiesLikePurple
* JumpedAtTheCall: She was about to become the titular superheroine, but thanks to her brother's interference, she settles for showing him the ropes.
%%* TheLancer: To [=SheZow=], of TheReliableOne type.
* LittleMissSnarker: Whenever one of Guy's powers goes wonky, expect her to have something to say about it.
* MissExposition: Being the head president of the international [=SheZow=] fan club, she naturally knows everything there is to know about [=SheZow=] and frequently fills Guy in on his powers and responsibilities.
* NotSoAboveItAll: Despite being smarter than Guy or Maz, she's prone to getting swept up in their antics, such as participating in a bubblegum-blowing contest with them, or being easily tricked into believing [[MistakenForSuperpowered she has superpowers of her own]].
* OnlySaneWoman: She's generally closer to Earth than Guy or Maz are. As a result, she frequently has to get them both to focus on the task at hand and frequently points out obvious things they've missed.
* ThePerfectionist: She's upset at getting [[TheBGrade an A minus]] on a school project, and fills a rainy morning with very elaborate "productivity". [[spoiler:When she gets a chance to be [=SheZow=], she inverts the trope.]]
* TheSmartGirl: Academically focused and down-to-earth, as well as being a walking encyclopedia of [=SheZology=].
%%* StrongFamilyResemblance: She looks like Flora Hamdon.
%%* TomboyishPonytail
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Maz Kepler]]
!!Maz Kepler
!!!Voice Actor: Creator/MattHill
[[quoteright:242:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/maz.jpg]]

Guy's [[HeterosexualLifePartners best friend]] and the only one who has figured out his she-cret identity ([[OverusedRunningGag OW! Okay, okay, we'll stop now.]]) so far (and that's just the first episode). Maz very quickly latches onto the idea of being [=SheZow=]'s sidekick and shows up in a different costumed persona every episode. Few of them are ever very good in a fight but then again, Maz never really has to be rescued either. He can take care of himself. Maybe.
----
* AccidentalHero: At times, he saves the day through dumb luck, such as in "Super Sidekick" where he stops a giant furry monster after being launched into a power plant, causing his electric razors to become overcharged and shave it down to a tiny size.
* AscendedFanboy: He's a massive superhero fanboy who gets to befriend and even fight alongside a superhero on the field.
* BadassNormal: Despite lacking superpowers, he frequently goes out into the field alongside [=SheZow=] to fight crime, and has even saved the day by himself on a few occasions.
* CharacterizationMarchesOn: In the first few episodes, he was more egotistical and jerkish, openly laughing at Guy upon discovering he's [=SheZow=] and becoming a massive jerk when he became famous for accidentally defeating a giant monster in "Super Sidekick". Following these instances however, he would lose his jerkish qualities and become more of a laid-back, supportive best friend to Guy.
* ColorCodedCharacters: Green/yellow.
%%* TheDitz
* DropInCharacter: He doesn't officially live with the Hamdons, but he drops by in every episode and seems to be viewed as a member of the family regardless, joining them for various family events and even having dinner with them in a couple of episodes.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: With Guy. They've been best friends since before the start of the show and have an inseparable bond, with Maz being one of the very few people Guy trusts with his secret identity.
%%* IHaveManyNames: When it comes to his sidekick identities.
%%* TheLancer: Shares this role with Kelly.
* MacGyvering: Many of his sidekick identities are whipped up on the spot, out of available materials. They aren't always particularly helpful, though.
* NiceGuy: Occasional jerk moments aside, he's depicted as a friendly, supportive guy who's willing to risk his life to help Guy in the field.
* ThePigPen: Maz's hygiene isn't great, to say the least. Kelly mentions that he smells like chipadillas and sour milk, and one episode has him being unable to hear the villain's mind control song because his ears are blocked from never cleaning them out.
%%* PluckyComicRelief
%%* PungeonMaster
* {{Sidekick}}: To [=SheZow=], or at least he's ''trying'' to be one, although [=SheZow=] can hold her own when in the face of danger.
* UnlimitedWardrobe: He comes up with a new sidekick identity in almost every episode of the show, and every single one has a different outfit made up of whatever materials he could get at the time.
* UndyingLoyalty: No matter what happens, he will always be at Guy's side as his trusty sidekick. Even when Maz briefly abandoned Guy when the latter accidentally (seemingly) caused Sheila to go offline in "Unplugged", he quickly forgave him and returned to his side a few minutes later.
* UnrequitedLove: Has a HUGE one-sided crush on Maizy (despite being annoyed to the point of [[GetAholdOfYourselfMan telling her off once for panicking and cowering during a battle]] instead of trying to help [=Gal/DudePow=]), she seems completely disinterested in him.
%%* VisualPun: His sidekick identities.

The snide, smartmouth supercomputer that inhabits the She-lair and consistently monitors Megadale for threats. Initially she doesn't think much of Guy.
----
%%* ComputerEqualsMonitor: Which mostly shows her lips.
%%* DeadpanSnarker
%%* MissionControl
%%* OmniscientDatabase
* PunnyName: SHE-ila is yet another one of the show's she-related puns.

Guy and Kelly's father, a beat cop who takes his job very seriously and dislikes [=SheZow's=] interference because it creates an impression that the police can't do their job. Because of this, he would love to bring her in for some offense or other and ends up rooting for the villain on occasion.
----
* CharacterDevelopment: Guy actually goes out of his way in later episodes to make sure that [=SheZow=] doesn't upstage his dad at key moments and as a result, he becomes less critical of her.
%%* DonutMessWithACop
%%* {{Jerkass}}

Guy and Kelly's mother, a poet and artist. Unlike Boxter, she is a huge fan of [=SheZow=].
----
* GranolaGirl: The more free-spirited parent who loves the arts.
* OpenMindedParent: She immediately accepts that her son is the female-presenting [=SheZow=] with no hesitation, even coming to support him on his missions (albeit in an [[MyBelovedSmother overbearing way]]).
* SoProudOfYou: She is absolutely overjoyed and proud when Guy reveals his secret to her. Unfortunately, she's so proud that she wants to announce to the whole world that her son is [=SheZow=].

The former president of the official [=SheZow=] fanclub and former self-proclaimed number one fan until something terrible happened. Now he has taken over the Megadale Ice Company where he lives with his mother, who doesn't seem too bothered by the fact that her son, Timmy Isaiah Burrstein, is an ice-wielding supervillain.
----
* AmazingTechnicolorPopulation: His skin is light blue.
%%* {{Expy}}: Of [[WesternAnimation/JohnnyTest Brain Freezer]].
%%** His personality is similar to that of [[WesternAnimation/JohnnyTest Bling Bling Boy]].
* AnIcePerson: To the point where he's apparently made out of ''living ice''.
%%* MommasBoy: Much to his frustration.
* NoodleIncident: That "terrible thing that happened" was not exactly explained.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Is apparently an adult yet looks around the same age as Guy.
* SealedEvilInACan: In "Uncommon Cold", he is melted by [=SheZow=] and trapped in a jar. By "Snow Way Out", it's shown that Guy has apparently kept him in a snowglobe since then.
* WeaksauceWeakness: He melts when he eats spicy foods.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Tara]]
!!Tara
!!!Voice Actor: Jacquie Brennan
[[quoteright:240:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shezow_autara.jpg]]

A former superheroine who would often team up with the previous [=SheZow=] to fight crime, but eventually drifted apart after [=SheZow=] became famous and she faded into oblivion. Even after years of therapy, Tara still nurses a grudge against her without realizing that Agnes is dead and cremated, and that her ashes are in a vase. Works alongside with Megamonkey as a member of SICK.
----
%%* BeautyIsNeverTarnished: Averted.
* BlessedWithSuck: One of her chief powers is the ability to expel enormous, gooey wads of mucus. It's actually pretty useful in battle, but may be a big part of the reason she was never as popular as the glamorous [=SheZow=].
* FemmeFatalons: Tara's arsenal includes diamond hard, razor sharp fingernails that she can launch as a missile weapon.
* GreenAndMean: Wears lime-green spandex, fitting for a villain with snot-based superpowers who is also DrivenByEnvy.
* NasalWeapon: Tara several mucus-based superpowers that she projects from her nose, including the Booger Bomb and the Super Slimy Snot Shot.
* TheResenter: She was a friend and partner of Agnes![=SheZow=] until she became bitterly jealous of the former's popularity. She was willing to bury the hatchet until Guy, who she doesn't realize is a different person, [[NiceJobBreakingItHero rubbed her face in it by not recognizing her.]]
* SecretPublicIdentity: She's never seen using an alias as a superhero or supervillain. She's just Tara.
* UncleanlinessIsNextToUngodliness: A supervillain with nasty mucus-based powers.

----
%%* MadScientist
* VerbalTic: Often adds the suffix "-ness" to the end of his sentences. At one point [=SheZow=] jokes back "and don't call me Eunice" in response after he says "you-ness".

An evil, super-intelligent monkey from the future that has time-traveled to the present to eliminate [=SheZow=] because, in his timeline, she has trapped him in a jar. To help him accomplish this goal, he forms the Society of Incredibly Callous Kriminals (S.I.C.K.), of which he is the only regular member, until Tara joined in.
----
* BigBad: The closest thing to one among the show's RoguesGallery. He is among [=SheZow=]'s most common enemies and is, bar none, the most dangerous. He formed S.I.C.K., a villainous organisation consisting of several of several other villains, and while most villains are content with [[PokeThePoodle petty theft and other miscellaneous crimes]], Mega Monkey's rap sheet includes going back in time to wipe the [=SheZow=] linage from history, attempting to kill numerous superheroes (including [=SheZow=]) and members of S.I.C.K. by dropping them into a volcano, brainwashing the mayor into letting villains run rampant, and rampaging through [=DudePow=]'s dimension as a giant to find the [[ArtifactOfDoom Wonder Melon]].
%%* BrainInAJar: Thanks to [=SheZow=] of all superheroines, not sure which one in the bloodline though.
%%* EvilBrit
* FinalBoss: He's the final threat faced in the show, even forcing [=SheZow=] and [=DudePow=] to team up to stand a chance against him.
* SelfFulfillingProphecy: He came back to the present to destroy [=SheZow=] because the superheroine is going to trap him in a jar at some point in the future, but if Mega Monkey hadn't started the enmity [=SheZow=] would have no reason to do this in the first place.
%%* ManiacMonkeys

A practical-joke playing fox who fought against the previous [=SheZow=] back in 1952 (61 years prior to the events of the episode); he was imprisoned by her in a box and sucked inside a vacuum Cleaner, but was accidentally released.
----
* AnnoyingLaugh: Which sounds like his name, brouhaha!
* BerserkButton: He really hates it when others don't laugh at his jokes.
* BreadEggsMilkSquick: While annoying with his childish pranks, he seems largely harmless, until he blows up a sodapop factory, that is.
%%* CallingYourAttacks
* CunningLikeAFox: A trickster clown fox.
%%* DemonicDummy
* ExtendoBoxingGlove: Brouhaha carries one as part of his arsenal. He uses it on Maz in "[=BrouHaHa=]".
* MonsterClown: Despite being a dummy, his arsenal of pranks are derived from a clown's bag of tricks
* SealedEvilInACan: In more ways than one, he was in a box that also happened to be sucked inside a vacuum cleaner by the previous [=SheZow=], where (even after Agnes's death) he was imprisoned until an unwitting customer who purchased said vacuum from Guy Hamdon in a yard sale freed him.

A sea monster (combination of a shark, octopus, and stingray) that constantly repeats everything people say in a high-pitched, whiny (dare we say, mocking?) tone. He may look harmless and never gives [=SheZow=] much trouble, but he's still a gigantic monster with an array of sharp teeth and tentacles. That's gotta count for something. Has serious issues concerning his mother.
----
%%* AmbiguouslyGay
* ButtMonkey: Probably the least effective rogue in [=SheZow's=] gallery. Most explicitly in [=ShePhat=], in which he attempts to rob a little old lady, telling her that [=SheZow=] isn't available to fight crime. She proceeds to mug him.
* EarlyBirdCameo: Appears in a report on Guy's two ways of transforming into [=SheZow=] in the first episode.
* MixAndMatchCritters: Has an octopus' body, a shark's face, a narwhal's horn, a stingray's tail, [[NoCelebritiesWereHarmed Ed Wynn's larynx]], and seaweed for hair.

----
* AmazingTechnicolorPopulation: His/her skin is some shade of green.

* HeelFaceTurn: Both of them turn good and help [=SheZow=] save the Earth by the end of the episode. Guy thinks they were doing so to save their own skins, but they maintain that they were so impressed by [=SheZow=]'s heroics that they genuinely turned over a new leaf.
