----
[[foldercontrol]]

!The Batfamily
[[folder:Batman]]
!!Batman[=/=]Bruce Wayne
The stern, strict, unyielding patriarch and superhero.
----
* AnimalNemesis: He hates Krypto the Superdog because the latter tried to bury him when he was a kid.
* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: Even Jason gets [[http://the-blackcat.deviantart.com/gallery/4878792#/d1hzbzy a]] gets [[http://the-blackcat.deviantart.com/gallery/8472801#/d4k13wi few]] [[http://the-blackcat.deviantart.com/art/Pressure-493155946 moments]] where Batman shows he cares.
* BatmanCanBreatheInSpace: As seen [[http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_64bXi6uBdLk/TKV675cZrOI/AAAAAAAAAio/3YiBYNBOcYk/s1600/bmom21.jpg here]]...
* BecauseISaidSo: The weapon of every parent, Bruce does this a lot.
* BullyingADragon: An the "Rivalry" storyline, Superman tells Lois how Batman always messed with him as a boy (such as hiding explosives in his cape, putting kryptonite in his locker, calling him names, etc.). Supes passed it off as him being "such a kidder."
-->'''Lois''': Clark, you're in denial.
-->'''Superman''': It keeps me from killing him, Lois.
* GagNose: He has a long pointy nose.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He's blunt, strict, neurotic, and unemotional, but clearly cares about all four boys.
* MenCantKeepHouse: Zigzagged. With proper instructions, he ''can'' keep the house organized, but he apparently lacks common sense to spot anything wrong if the "instructions" are wrong. Dick and Jason exploits this to stop him from his cleaning-spree.
* ParentalFavoritism: Batman obviously dotes on Terry more than he does his other sons. This is because in this 'verse, Terry is his biological son via Catwoman.
* ParentalObliviousness: While he's technically responsible for his sons, Alfred is the one taking care of them while Bruce is preoccupied in the Batcave. As such, he's often unaware of the happenings to his sons, and did not even realize that Dick is 12 instead of 8.
* ProperlyParanoid: With Jason, his protectiveness of Terry is justified. He also goes through the entire manor and Batcave to find a spot which doesn't have any security cameras, and ends up filmed anyway by a camera which Jason secretly installed.
* ScareEmStraight: Batman often goes along with a scheme to lull the boys into a false sense of security before striking fear into them. (See: 'Bat Nap', 'Crime and Punishment'.)
* SoreLoser: The bat once lost against Flash in an unspecified competition, and spent the next few hours sulking outside Flash's house.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Dick Grayson]]
Bruce's oldest son at twelve years old. The most well-adjusted Robin, though he can get a bit neurotic if things aren't going as planned. His Robin uniform has the canon green underpants.
----
* ApologeticAttacker: Apologizes to Tim before tying him up in a locked closet. He also leaves the light on.
* BigBrotherMentor: Dick is quite grounded and responsible for his age. He looks after Terry if Alfred and Batman are occupied, encourages and supports Tim, and works well with Jason if necessary.
* CantGetAwayWithNuthin: Dick can't eat a chocolate bar in the Batcave without getting a stern lecture from Batman. While Batman is in space. Fighting Starro, (though admittedly, the only reason Jason gets away with some things is sheer quantity causing Batman to miss a few.)
* TheHeart: If Dick wasn't around, Jason would have nothing to stop him from using Tim as a pawn all of the time. Also, Terry would have gotten left behind. Several times.
* MarshmallowHell:
** Dick [[http://pics.livejournal.com/the_dark_cat/pic/000b2whx being sandwiched]] between ComicBook/BlackCanary and Hawkgirl... ThatCameOutWrong.
** [[http://pics.livejournal.com/the_dark_cat/pic/00023sh0 And here]] Dick's also got to deal with Mera and Power Girl too--hard when you're twelve to keep your "Mr. Nice Guy" status.
* PrettyBoy: Played with. At the Justice League barbecue in 'Rivalry', Black Canary and Hawkgirl immediately start cooing over how handsome Dick is, which is a pretty standard greeting given they're surrogate aunts and he's twelve.
* RagingStiffie: Dick is just hitting puberty, and is often in the company of very full-figured women.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Jason Todd]]
Bruce's most troublesome son. At nine years old, he already shows a tendency towards violence and sneaking around. His Robin uniform has shorts.
----
* AmbiguousInnocence: He doesn't seem to know that children who ''weren't'' raised by Batman need to be treated more carefully.
* TheChessmaster: He is eerily good at thinking up complicated schemes for his mischief, as 'Crime and Punishment' and 'Mr. Bat-Mom' show. Since his father is Batman, he rarely gets away with it.
* EvilMentor: He constantly uses Tim as an unwitting pawn in his schemes, and he is extremely irresponsible with Terry (feeding him pineapple to make him poop earlier, ''building Terry into a snowman'').
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: While he uses Tim and Terry as pawns a lot, he usually accompanies Tim on more dangerous schemes, at least to prove that he's brave enough to go though it himself. He also feels bad when he actually makes Terry cry.
* MouthyKid: Always the most eager to argue with Batman. Rarely ends well for him.
* TroublingUnchildlikeBehavior: Jason is not allowed to compete with other children as he is prone to intense violence, and he tends to use his younger brothers for his own ends. He also keeps a pocketknife around which can cut Batcable.
* ZanyScheme: Only most of his schemes get caught (he successfully installed a security camera which Batman doesn't know about, and replaced the Batcable with dental floss which Alfred holds as blackmail material).
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Tim Drake]]
Cheerful but very sensitive, Tim is six years old in this continuity and a bit... off-center due to his parents' deaths. His Robin uniform has pants, black boots, and a black cape.
----
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Tim's grasp on reality is... shaky, at best. In "Mr. Bat-Mom", he started calling Batman "Mom" [[http://the-blackcat.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2ztukb after Dick and Jason attempted to force his silence]].
* InnocentInaccurate: Sincerely believes that Batman found him and Terry in cabbage patches.
* TheSmartGuy: While he hasn't quite got all of his marbles together, he got out of full-body binding in a locked closet, then taped video evidence of Dick and Jason scheming against Batman. Within the time of ''a diaper change.''
* StepfordSmiler: While he is usually cheerful, he cries easily and seems to be lonely.
* UnsoundEffect: While running around with a feather duster pretending to be Hawkman, he yells "Hawk! Hawk!"
* WellDoneSonGuy: Tries very hard to please Batman. At one point he constructs an elaborate fantasy where he and Batman traveled to a planet made of pancakes and potato chips.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: He fears Barry Allen [=/=] The Flash enough that he cries when forced to sit on the Flash!Santa's lap.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Terry Wayne]]
Batman's youngest and only biological son, less than a year old and not quite talking yet. Worried over constantly by Batman, most of the time with due cause. He is spoiled and easily bullies Tim into doing what he wants, but good at heart with a sometimes profound intelligence. In this canon, his mother is Catwoman.
----
* AnnoyingYoungerSibling: Frequently bugs Tim by throwing stuffs at him, and the latter can't retaliate without getting in trouble with Batman.
* BabyLanguage: In 'Rebel With a Binky', Terry's baby-talk is translated to an extremely long, complex speech siding with his brothers about Batman's unfairly harsh training. Since no one else can understand it, Batman tells the Robins to train for four more hours.
* DistractedByTheShiny: He shows as much interest in soap bubbles and boxes as he does for traditional baby toys.
* JackOfAllTrades: Whether it's due to being Batman's biological son, mimicking his brothers, or both, Terry is highly intelligent, adept at combat (y'know, for a baby), and easily manipulates people.
* SpoiledBrat: Tends to be nice sometimes, depending on who's taking care of him at the moment. He is well-behaved with Dick, but he bullies Tim around, and can hold his own against Jason's manipulative streak.
* WeNamedTheMonkeyJack: Catwoman named Terry after her first cat.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: He fears Barry Allen [=/=] The Flash enough to cling to his father's leg.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Alfred Pennyworth]]
The loyal butler, who manages to turn the tables in his favor every now and then.
----
* AlmightyJanitor: He has a lot of blackmail material on Batman. And Jason.
%% Doesn't explain what the reaction is. * BerserkButton: It's not a good idea to botch one of his mother's recipes.
* ParentalSubstitute: Bruce did give him a father's day card...
* ServileSnarker: Batman in this continuity is more comically dickish, so Alfred has many things to snark about.
[[/folder]]

!Recurring Characters
[[folder:The Superman Family]]
* AlternateSelf: Both Karas (''Comicbook/{{Supergirl}}'' and ''Comicbook/PowerGirl'') exist in this universe, although Kara Zor-El is a still child whereas Kara Zor-L is already an adult.
* HappilyMarried: Superman and ComicBook/LoisLane may have differences of opinion, but they're clearly happy together.
* MamaBear: Downplayed. [[http://the-blackcat.deviantart.com/art/Rivalry-Page-Twenty-two-100426274?offset=20#comments Lois doesn't take well to Batman scaring her sons]].
* NiceGuy: Superman tries to mediate fights, happily attends family get-togethers and Christmas parties, and has seldom if ever been seen to lose his temper.
* StandingBetweenTheEnemies: Superman often [[http://the-blackcat.deviantart.com/art/Rivalry-Page-42-110543708 has to keep Batman and Green Arrow from killing each other]]. Apparently [[http://the-blackcat.deviantart.com/art/Super-Holiday-131702200 it runs in the family.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:The Flash Family]]
* HappilyMarried: Barry and Iris Allen are very happy together.
* NiceGuy: Like Superman, Flash tries to keep the Bat from getting into fights with others. He ''almost'' convinced Bruce and Oliver to stop bickering during the Thanksgiving strip, and tries to mediate peace between Hal and Bruce in the Christmas Play episode.
* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: Barry often gets too physical for the other Superheroes' comfort. In one "Rivalry" strip, he tries to cheer up Hal by putting an arm around him (Hal bluntly tells him that he's getting too close). He also gets excited in {{bridal carry}}ing Batman after they finished a mission together, because Batman's vehicle was destroyed during the battle.
* ThePollyanna: Barry smiles all the time and believes many problems can be solved with a hug. This is in fact the reason Tim and Terry are scared of him.
* SweetTooth: Flash runs a house-cleaning service in exchange for cake.
* ViolentlyProtectiveGirlfriend: When Batman makes Flash cry, Green Lantern comments, "[[http://the-blackcat.deviantart.com/art/Peace-on-Earth-344342086?offset=20#comments Oh, that's just great. Now his wife is going to kill us]]."
[[/folder]]

[[folder:The Green Arrow Family]]
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Green Arrow is still a hero, but he's always putting down the Batfamily.
* NotSoDifferentRemark: Flash [[http://the-blackcat.deviantart.com/art/Thanksgiving-Page-Two-103891477?q=gallery%3AThe-BlackCat%2F8472807&qo=2 points out during one of his fights]] with Batman that they both agree that the slaughter of the Native Americans was horrible. The two pause for a moment...[[IgnoredEpiphany and then go back to fighting.]]
* ParentalNeglect: Usually whenever Green Arrow is about to [[StealthPun get some tail]] from Black Canary, [[http://the-blackcat.deviantart.com/art/The-Green-Hood-166862880 as shown here.]]
* SitcomArchnemesis: Several strips of "Rivalry" are him and Batman fighting.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:The Green Lanterns]]
* BrattyHalfPint: Kid Kyle is forever messing with the girls at the picnic.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Hal Jordan is prideful and can be aggressive, but he's a good guy.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Other Heroes]]
* ChocolateBaby: [[http://the-blackcat.deviantart.com/art/The-Hawk-Family-188058788 Warhawk]] is one of Hawkman and Hawkgirl's kids.[[note]] Warhawk is [[WesternAnimation/JusticeLeague Hawkgirl and John Stewart's son.]][[/note]]
* CrazyJealousGuy: When Hourman hears Jessie call Green Lantern "cute" in the middle of a race, he turns around and jumps on top of him.
* SickeninglySweethearts: Hourman and Jessie Quick play a "who loves who more" kissing game.
