App Monsters, or "Appmon" for short, are the focus of the ''Franchise/DigimonUniverseAppMonsters'' project, itself a spin-off of the ''{{Franchise/Digimon}}'' franchise. Though they share many similarities with Digimon, chief among them being digital life forms capable of executing colorful attacks, Appmon are distinct from Digimon in multiple ways. The primary difference, of course, is that Appmon are based on smartphone applications, and as such, live on the internet and interact directly with users' smartphones.

Rather than levels like Digimon, Appmon instead have '''Grades''', of which there are four instead of six-seven: '''Standard''', '''Super''', '''Ultimate''', and '''God'''. To reach higher Grades, Appmon [[FusionDance combine]] by way of a process called '''"App Fusion"'''. Those Appmon that can't undergo App Fusion with one another can instead link their powers to grow stronger through a process called '''App Link'''. Like Digimon, Appmon have a system of classification that relate to the type and function of the app they're based on, consisting of '''App''' and '''Type'''. The former is more akin to a Digimon's type, while the latter is similar to an attribute, with slight elements pertaining to [[Characters/DigimonFields fields]]. They usually include "Social", "Tool", "System", "Game", "Entame"[[note]]"Entertainment"[[/note]], "Navi", and "Life", though the God-Grade Appmon are instead given the "God" type.

Individual Appmon are listed below alphabetically and are categorized by Grade, while Appmon in the specific group folders have their own organization rules. Please note that, as more information on this spin-off is just now coming to light, this page uses both preliminary information and is also under-construction.

Once all seven of their Appmon Chips are placed on the Seven Code PAD, a special tablet-shaped item specifically made to store them, they form Dantemon (see the Unknown Grade folder).\

* {{Cyborg}}: Various parts of Dokamon's body, including its arms, legs, ears, and the tips of its tail, appear mechanical.
* ElementalPunch: Its "Dokkan Punch" attack is a flaming punch.
* {{Expy}}: Being a blue-colored, mammalian-looking Appmon, it resembles the Digimon partners of previous [[TheLancer Lancer-type]] Digimon from previous seasons. However, the "v" symbol on its head also evokes [[Anime/DigimonAdventure02 V-mon.]]
* HotBlooded: Stated to be rowdy by nature.

* GenericGraffiti: It's equipped with aerosol paint cans, making Drawmon invoke this.
* HollywoodAcid: Its "Paint Melt" attack uses paint as this.

* AbsurdlySharpClaws: For use with its "Gatch Claw" attack.
* AccessoryWearingCartoonAnimal: In addition to its helmet, Gatchmon also has a magnifying glass attached to its body.
* CartoonCreature: Gatchmon is a generally-mammalian looking ''thing''. Aside from that, he doesn't seem to be based on anything in the real world. This is actually [[LampshadeHanging lampshaded]] in the first episode of the anime, when Messemon asks Gatchmon whether he's a dog or a cat. Gatchmon's answer? [[spoiler: Neither.]]
* ConstantlyCurious: As befits a 'mon based on a search app.
* CoolHelmet: A horned one with a magnifying glass on it.
* CuteLittleFangs: Has a mouth full of sharp teeth, but at least one is always sticking out of the corner of his mouth.
* EnemyScan: The purpose of its "Weak Point Search" attack.
* InconsistentSpelling: Its name has been rendered both "Gatchmon", "Gacchimon", and "Gatchimon" by official sources.
* KidDetective: In addition to being based on a search engine, Gatchmon fits this trope, what with being a Standard Grade Appmon, which is roughly analogous to the "Child" level in ''Digimon'', its hunger for information, and use of a magnifying glass.
* MagicalDatabase: Its "Deep Search" has it plumb the Surface Web for information on how to solve a particular problem.
* PunnyName: Gatchmon's name is a portmanteau of "gacchi", which relates to the results turned up in a search engine, "gashi", the sound of clanging, as in the sound it would make attacking with its metal claws.
* RecurringElement: The red-themed Buddy Appmon of the goggle-headed protagonist; in this case, Haru.

!!Gengomon
[[quoteright:320:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gengomon.jpg]]

----
* AmbiguouslyEvil: It has the potential to create a crisis, but only if its powers are used in a destructive way.
* TheCracker: It can break even strong locks in an instant.
* {{Expy}}: Of the Digimon version of Hackmon. While Hackmon was the KnightInShiningArmor type, this version is much shadier and villainous looking. Notably, Hackmon qualifies as this trope instead of just being a case of OneSteveLimit, due to being directly based on a Digimon rather than simply sharing a similar name with one. In addition, the Digimon Hackmon is moreso based on "hakku" or "white", while the Appmon Hackmon is actually based on hacking.
* FireballEyeballs: A variation where one of the eyes of its hood is what's on fire, rather than its actual eyes.
* HollywoodHacking: Based on the concept. It can get into anything and can potentially threaten the world.

* AgentScully: It distrusts any information that it doesn't already know, especially that which doesn't have a proper author listed.
* AnimateInanimateObject: A dictionary.
* NerdGlasses: His are gold, compared to Bookmon's.
* InsufferableGenius: Hates anonymous information and prefers its own knowledge to that of others.

* PaletteSwap: Shares a model with Cardmon and Newsmon.
* RealityWarper: By way of its projections.

----
* AnimateInanimateObject: A living coin purse.

->'''Type:''' Life
->'''Attacks:''' Roulette Bank, Money Shock

An Appmon with the ability to withdraw whatever money its target possesses. It is even possible to temporarily obtain even more money than you already have by begging it for a loan.
----
* AbnormalAmmo: Uses money to attack, just like Luckmon.
* AnimateInanimateObject: Though it shares a model with Luckmon, Moneymon is actually a cash register/dispenser instead.
* LoanShark: You can obtain a loan from it, and the "temporary" part mentions in its profile indicates it will eventually come to collect.
* PaletteSwap: Shares a model with Luckmon.
* WingdingEyes: Where Luckmon had eyes on its roulette wheel, Moneymon instead has dollar signs.

!!Musclemon

A professional trainer Appmon. It has the ability to stimulate the muscular strength data of others, even against their will, causing their bodies to get beefed up regardless of their wishes.
----
* AbnormalAmmo: It attacks with its ''sweat''.
* {{Cephalothorax}}: It's a sphere with muscular limbs.
* MachoCamp: Musclemon is this, in Appmon form.
* PecFlex: Somehow manages to use this to attack, as part of its "Muscle Posing" attack.
* ScaryTeeth: Has a mouth full of sharp fangs.
* SuperEmpowering: See TemporaryBulkChange below.
* TemporaryBulkChange: Has the ability to cause this, making other Appmon buff, regardless of whether they want to or not.

->'''App:''' Music
->'''Type:''' Entertainment
->'''Attacks:''' Music Hour!, Happy Playlist

A musician whose motto is "Music changes the world". The songs he composes vigorously move the hearts of those who listen to them.\
\
Musimon is the Buddy Appmon of Asuka "Astra" Torajirou.
----
* BroughtToYouByTheLetterS: The patterns on his head make an "M" shape. This becomes TheArtifact on Dancemon and [=MCmon=].
* CatchPhrase: "Music changes the world", from his profile. * The one in the anime instead uses "No Musimon, no life!"
* MusicTropes: Naturally, Musimon takes inspiration from multiple genres.
** His design derives from stylistic associated with ''Main/HipHop'' and ''Main/JapanesePopMusic''.
** In the anime, he and his Buddy are known to [[BoastfulRap spontaneously rap]].
** He's sometimes shown wielding a conductor's baton, which reminds one of ClassicalMusic.
* MusicalAssassin: It's in the name. Expressed literally through it's "Music Hour", which releases musical soundwaves at its enemy.
* ThemeMusicPowerUp: "Happy Playlist", which raises the spirits of allies who hear it.
* PaletteSwap: Shares a model with Dancemon and [=MCmon=]. Though considering Musimon is a main character in the anime, it might be safe to say that the other two are the palette swaps of ''him''.
* SigilSpam: He has round musical note symbols on each finger. Dancemon and [=MCmon=] notable lack these.
* UnusualEars: Like Musimon and Dancemon, its ears are also arms.

!!Navimon
[[quoteright:320:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/navimon.jpg]]
->'''App:''' Navi
->'''Type:''' Navi
->'''Attacks:''' Yajirushi[[note]]Arrow[[/note]] Missile, Shock Attack Marker, Navigation Arrow

An Appmon which guides people to the shortest path to their destination. With a personality as straightforward as the arrows on both of its arms, it hates detours.
----
* BladeBelowTheShoulder: In the shape of location markers. These are also Navimon's ''arms''.
* FlechetteStorm: Its Navigation Arrows are thrown like kunai.
* HomingProjectile: Its "Yajirushi Missile" technique.
* HighlyVisibleNinja: Thanks to its red-and-green color scheme.
* LivingWeapon: Navimon's missiles are depicted with faces on them, like many Appmon and Digimon projectiles.
* LogicalWeakness: The anime gives Navimon one, in the form of fighting it by spinning around, which can mess up location identification.
* {{Ninja}}: It clearly considers itself to be one and uses a [[UsefulNotes/JapanesePronouns pronoun]] associated with them. See also the Highly Visible Ninja section above.
* PrecisionGuidedBoomerang: Using its GPS abilities, Navimon's attacks can home in on a target so long as Navimon has identified their location with its markers.
* ScarfOfAssKicking: As part of the ShoutOut below.
* ShadowPin: One of Navimon's ninja techniques with its arrows, taken from the anime.
* ShoutOut: Visibly based on the titular heroes of ''Franchise/KamenRider''.
* RollerBladeGood: Navimon's feet are wheels.
* TechnologyMarchesOn: Navimon inflicted this on Compassmon in-universe, in both the anime and the Appmon profiles.
* TronLines: Meant to resemble a road map.

!!Newsmon
[[quoteright:320:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/newsmon.jpg]]
->'''App:''' News
->'''Type:''' Navi
->'''Attacks:''' Extra News, Shocking News

A reporter whose purpose in life is to spread exclusive news scoops to the entire world. It seems to have some level of foresight, as the news it writes about future events tend to come true.
----
* AnimateInanimateObject: A walking newspaper.
* AwesomeBackpack: Its backpack carries newspapers; this is a holdover from Kabemon.
* GoingForTheBigScoop: Its purpose in life, as mentioned in its profile.
* IntrepidReporter
* PaletteSwap: Shares a model with Cardmon and Kabemon.
* {{Seers}}: Future events it reports on come true; whether Newsmon has inside knowledge, has legitimate ability to see the future, or makes predictions based on data gleaned from the web like Tellermon isn't elaborated upon in any media.

!!Offmon
[[quoteright:320:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/offmon.png]]
->'''App:''' Offline
->'''Type:''' Game
->'''Attacks:''' Switch Lazy, Tachikiru[[note]]Disconnecting[[/note]] Link

An Appmon with the ability to completely drain the target's motivation as if it were turning off a switch. Whether or not this is due to its ability, Offmon is always listless as well.\
\
Offmon is the Buddy Appmon of Yuujin Oozora.
----
* BadassLongcoat: Though since it's the size of a toddler, it's pretty over-sized.
* ChargedAttack: The anime depicts "Switch Lazy" this way, with Offmon needing a long period of time to prepare the attack. It's more powerful than many of the attacks used by other Standard Grades as a result.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Offmon and its higher forms have a darker edge to them and its powers are less overtly heroic, in contrast to contrast Onmon. However, it's not overtly evil, and even roles where it's antagonistic make Offmon either misguided or lacking in control.
* HeroicDog: Based on Offmon's higher forms, Offmon is some kind of canine. The heroic part comes from being the Buddy Appmon of one of the main characters of the anime. Subverted in the ''Applimonsters'' video game, where Offmon is an antagonist.
* EnergyBall: "Switch Lazy" takes this form.
* GogglesDoNothing: Has a pair of these on its hat, with red "power off" symbols on them.
* {{Foil}}: To Onmon and its higher forms. Offmon breaks connections while Onmon creates them.
* PersonalityPowers: Offmon breaks connections and demotivates others, and is itself listless. The anime takes this further by adding ShrinkingViolet and {{Hikikomori}} tendencies.
* PowerNullifier: "Tachikiru Link" disables Appmon abilities that rely on connecting to the net or other sources. Offmon also has the innate ability to drain motivation from others, according to its profile.
* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: {{SubvertedTrope}}. It is usually friendly unless someone else forces it to use its powers for evil.
* SigilSpam: Red "power off" symbols, which reoccur across its higher forms.

!!Onmon
[[quoteright:320:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/onmon.jpg]]
->'''App:''' Online
->'''Type:''' Game
->'''Attacks:''' Switch Spark, Tsunageru[[note]]Connecting[[/note]] Link

An Appmon with the ability to raise its target's motivation to the maximum as abruptly as turning on a switch. It is always fired up and motivated itself, just like the effects of its ability.
----
* CartoonCreature: Unlike Offmon, its basis is less obvious, as all of its higher forms are humanoid warriors instead of creatures whose inspiration is more obvious.
* HotBlooded: It's always fired up and motivated.
* {{Foil}}: To Offmon and its higher forms; Onmon creates connections while Offmon breaks them. Their attacks' names directly reference each other as well.
* SigilSpam: Blue "power on" symbols, variants of which reoccur across its higher forms, appear on its chip and helmet.
* PersonalityPowers: Just like Offmon, its personality matches its abilities; Onmon is energetic and motivated, just like its ability to instill as much in others.
* StatusBuff: Makes other Appmon more motivated in battle.

!!Onpamon

->'''Type:''' Tool
->'''Attacks:''' Wave Attack, Easy Sonar

An Appmon with the ability to emit special soundwaves from the horn on its head. By inferring from the way its soundwaves are reflected, it is capable of determining even the location of even invisible enemies.
----
* ArmlessBiped: Like the Appmon it shares a model with, it uses the App Link cables on the side of its head as limbs instead.
* EnemyDetectingRadar: Its "Easy Sonar" technique; unlike Denpamon, it uses sound waves instead of electromagnetic ones.
* EyelessFace: Has no eyes, instead having a volume level guage where eyes should be.
* MakeSomeNoise: Attacks with soundwaves from the horn on its head.
* MechanicalLifeforms: A walking, robotic jamming device.
* PaletteSwap: Shares a model with Denpamon and Jammingmon. It also shares a basic body type with Pekomon and Pokomon, but their faces and types of weapons are different.

!!Pekomon
[[quoteright:320:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pekomon.jpg]]
->'''App:''' Compression
->'''Type:''' System
->'''Attacks:''' Peko Smash, Pekopeko[[note]]Denting[[/note]] Hammer

An Appmon with the ability to compress data. Any Appmon that gets hit with its hammer will be fully shrunk down to a cute, mini size.
----
* {{Armless Biped}}: Like the Appmon it shares a model with, it uses the App Link cables on the side of its head as limbs instead.
* {{Foil}}: Pekomon compresses data, while Pokomon decompresses it. Pekomon also looks mischievous, while Pokomon is portrayed as looking nervous.
* FunSize: The victim of its decompression turns into this, specifically being noted as "cute".
* PaletteSwap: Shares a model with Pokomon, but not a weapon type. It also shares a basic body type with Denpamon, Jammingmon, and Onpamon, but its face and weapons are different.
* ShrinkRay: Or rather, Shrink ''Hammer''. Its hammer will decompress its targets, making them tiny.
* ScaryTeeth: Has a mouth full of sharp teeth.

!!Perorimon
[[quoteright:320:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/perorimon.jpg]]
->'''App:''' Gourmet
->'''Type:''' Entertainment
->'''Attacks:''' Tasting Bite, Perorinlog

It is a glutton that loves mealtimes more than anything. Usually, it is very easygoing, but when it is hungry, it changes to its ferocious personality in search of food.
----
* {{Acrofatic}}: Averted. Perorimon's attempts in the anime show it to not be very good at physical activity.
* BigEater: Described as gluttonous. When it gets hungry, Perorimon turns ferocious.
* CriticismTropes: A food[=/=]restaurant review Appmon. The one in the anime is a CausticCritic, but the general trope is listed here because there are different types of Perorimon who may or may not exhibit the same personality.
* MoreTeethThanTheOsmondFamily: Its maw could give [[Characters/DigimonInTrainingDigimon Tokomon]] a run for its money.
* NiceGuy: Until you make it hungry, anyway.
* UndergroundMonkey: The anime shows there are different types of Perorimon, with a different appearance based on the types of food they specialize in reviewing. One episode specifically focuses on a female version, named "Maripero".

!!Pipomon
[[quoteright:320:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pipomon.jpg]]
->'''App:''' Warning
->'''Type:''' System
->'''Attacks:''' Spy Droid, Panic Sentry

An Appmon with the ability to detect danger in its surroundings. The moment its small surveillance drones detect any suspicious articles, it will sound a siren and light up the warning light atop its head.
----
* MechanicalLifeforms: An Appmon in the form of a robotic security robot.
* MechaMooks: Portrayed as such in the anime whenever someone makes an excursion into the Deep Web.
* PaletteSwap: Shares a model with Gashamon, with non-mismatched eyes and a siren instead of a dome containing gashapon capsules.
* PoliceAreUseless: They are not usually very effective at defeating their enemies, unless they have an overwhelming number of themselves.
* SurveillanceDrone: Utilizes these to detect suspicious activity as part of its "Spy Droid" technique.

!!Pokomon
[[quoteright:320:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pokomon_appmon.jpg]]
->'''App:''' Decompression
->'''Type:''' System
->'''Attacks:''' Poko Melter, Pokopoko[[note]]Bashing[[/note]] Blow

An Appmon with the ability to decompress compressed data. The hot air blown out from the dryer on its head gently melts stiff, compressed data.
----
* ArmlessBiped: Like the Appmon it shares a model with, it uses the App Link cables on the side of its head as limbs instead.
* BlowYouAway: Uses a blow dryer instead of hammer, like Pekomon.
* {{Foil}}: Pekomon compresses data, while Pokomon decompresses it. Pekomon also looks mischievous, while Pokomon is portrayed as looking nervous.
* HeatWave: "Poko Melter", which uses its blow dryer to "melt" data and thereby decompress it.
* OneSteveLimit: Averted, sort of. Pokomon name sounds identical to that of a Baby/Fresh-level Digimon, but they actually take from different Japanese words.
* PaletteSwap: Shares a model with Pekomon, but not a weapon type. It also shares a basic body type with Denpamon, Jammingmon, and Onpamon, but its face and weapons are different.
* ScaryTeeth: Has a mouth full of sharp teeth. Somewhat undermined by how nervous it looks.

!!Protecmon

->'''App:''' Security

->'''Attacks:''' Flame Wall, Almighty Guard

A robust guardsman who excels in defense. Using both arms as sturdy shields, it protects valuable data from virus attacks day in and day out.
----
* {{Expy}}: It highly resembles [[Characters/DigimonChampionDigimon Guardromon]], a Digimon which also specializes in security.
* {{Foil}}: To Hackmon. Where Hackmon breaches security, Protecmon guards against such behavior. It turns out they're [[OppositesAttract App Fusion]] partners.
* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: Said shield spews fire, too.
* PlayingWithFire: Shoots fire from its shields for its "Fire Wall" attack.
* VisualPun: It's a Firewall Appmon, with a shield that shoots fire.

->'''App:''' Puzzle
->'''Type:''' Game
->'''Attacks:''' Element Mix, Poppin' Three

A rather unusual Appmon in that its three bodies each have a different personality. It is able to unleash different types of attacks by changing positions with each other.
----
* ColonyDrop: It's shown to being capable of dropping huge puzzle balls from the sky in the anime.
* {{Cyclops}}: Its blue head is this.
* ElementalPowers: Each of its three bodies has a different elemental theme; the [[FireIsRed orange one]] being [[PlayingWithFire fire]], the [[WaterIsBlue blue one]] being blue, and the [[WindIsGreen green one]] being [[BlowYouAway wind]].
* HiveMind: It looks like a MultipleHeadCase, but each word balloon is a separate body sharing the same train of thought. It shares this trait with Messemon.
* LiteralSplitPersonality: Just like Messemon, its three bodies each have a different personality. They are, however, less immediately obvious than Messemon's are.
* MouthStitchedShut: Like several other Digimon and Appmon, its mouth has stitches but is capable of opening it and talking.
* PaletteSwap: Shares a model with Messemon.
* PuzzleGame: Based on this kind of game, with its specific inspiration seemingly coming from "match three or more" style games.

!!Racemon

A remarkable driver, it is said there is no vehicle it cannot operate. It has the ability to bring out the best in any vehicle, from tricycles to even spaceships.
----
* BadassDriver: One that can bring out the potential of ''any'' vehicle, no matter how advanced.
* FullPotentialUpgrade: Racemon can bring this out in vehicles.
* KillerRabbit: It's not immediately obvious, but with the exhaust on its head looking like ears, Racemon is based on a rabbit.
* UniversalDriversLicense: Racemon can drive ''anything'', even a spaceship.

!!Recomon

----
* CyberCyclops: Only has a single red power sensor for an eye.
* IsThisThingStillOn: It'll record anything no matter what the target is talking about.
* MechanicalLifeforms: A living microphone.
* TheReliableOne: Very diligent to its task of recording things... to the point it records things it ''doesn't need to''.

->'''Attacks:''' Switching Rail, Trail Slam

An Appmon that is well informed about the operating status of trains. Not only does it give useful information on train transferring, it can also act as a high speed transport during urgent situations.
----
* AnimateInanimateObject: Resshamon is, obviously enough, a living train.
* AstonishinglyAppropriateAppearance: Resshamon's lower jaw is a cowcatcher.
* CoolTrain: Naturally. It's not just a train ''monster'' either, he can also be used as an emergency transport.
* {{Expy}}: Resshamon is based visually on [[Characters/DigimonUltimateDigimon Locomon]], who had a notable role as one of the feature Digimon of the second ''Anime/DigimonTamers'' movie. Resshamon's feature episode is fittingly chock full of references to said movie.
* FunSize: Averted. Resshamon is shown to be unusually large for a Standard Grade in the anime, and is in fact large enough to ride in. He's about the size of a smaller train engine.
* RammingAlwaysWorks: Its "Trail Slam" technique.

A harsh reviewer that scrutinizes everything it sees. It is said that any product or store that receives praise from Reviewmon will undoubtedly become popular.
----
* CausticCritic: Noted to be a harsh reviewer.
* GagLips: Its only distinct facial feature, given most of it is covered by a hood.
* HornedHumanoid: Similarly to Kosomon, unless both of them just have large ears covered by a hood.
* InTheHood: Wears a hoody drawn tightly over its face, covering its eyes.
* ShoutOut: One to on-line review shops like Yelp! It being a harsh critic that can make or break a product is a reference to the influence such sites carry, and the effect they've been shown to have on businesses.
* PaletteSwap: Shares an overall design with Kosomon.

!!Rocketmon
[[quoteright:320:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rocketmon.jpg]]

----
* JetPack: Naturally, he has four rocket engines strapped to him.
* LightningBruiser: Rocketmon is so fast, it's capable of breaking even the sound barrier.
* OurDragonsAreDifferent: A rocket engine-powered dragon, in fact.
* WeaponizedExhaust: Its "Rocket Burst" technique.

!!Savemon

->'''Type:''' System
->'''Attacks:''' Saving Bubble, Split Memory

An Appmon with the ability to save and create back-ups of data. It is even capable of returning the target back to a previous state of being as long as a back-up from that state exists.
----
* BodyBackupDrive: Savemon can effectively serve as a one-mon BodyBackupDrive ''service''.
* EnergyBall: Savemon's card artwork shows it forming its save data backups in this manner.
* {{Foil}}: To Copipemon, who creates duplicates of others in varying numbers, and its copies are disposable. Savemon instead ''preserves'' the target's state of being, and can restore them should the need arise.
* PaletteSwap: Shares a model with Copipemon, with the only notable differences being different patterns and the fact that Savemon has a more unusual mouth.
* SavePoint: Savemon can effectively create this for others, returning them to a previous state if it can manage to back up their data. One can therefore infer that this overlaps with in-universe SaveScumming.

!!Setmon

An Appmon who is capable of configuring equipment for easy use, even that which is initially difficult-to-use. The manuals it creates are easily understood even by beginners.
----
* DataPad: Setmon's item of choice is this, rather than Tellermon's CrystalBall.
* FlyingFace: Shares this trait with Tellermon, though they both ''do'' have arms.
* ExoticEyeDesigns: Has a pair that look like scope lenses, probably to help it zoom in on whatever it's modifying.
* GadgeteerGenius: After a fashion; it specializes in making difficult things easy to use.
* InTheHood: [[TheArtifact A holdover]] from sharing a model with Tellermon. It doesn't seem to matter much to Savemon's overall theme like it does Tellermon, however.
* OverlyNervousFlopSweat: Setmon's profile artwork depicts it with this, perhaps indicating that it's overworked.
* PaletteSwap: Shares an overall design with Tellermon.
* ThirdEye: Setmon has this where Tellermon merely has a PowerCrystal.
* ViewerFriendlyInterface: Setmon also makes easy-to-understand manuals.

!!Shotmon
[[quoteright:320:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shotmon.jpg]]
->'''App:''' Shooting
->'''Type:''' Game
->'''Attacks:''' Dead Shot, Pressure Revolve

A first rate sniper that specializes in long-range shooting. Its prided revolver is custom made, and from time to time it is capable of taking down its target without even leaving any sign of presence or sound.
----
* ArmedLegs: Guess what? They're guns.
* ColdSniper: A long-range specialist assassin. Said to be first-rate.
* FirstPersonShooter: One of the two genre of vidoe games Shotmon is based on, the other being third-person-shooters.
* HighlyVisibleNinja: Not a shinobi per se, but for an assassin capable of killing without leaving a trace, being colored day-glo green is rather odd.
