! Ultramen

[[folder:Tropes Applying to Both Rosso and Blu]]
[[caption-width-right:350:[[labelnote:'''SPOILER''']]https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rb1300.png[[/labelnote]]]]

A pair of Ultramen siblings who fell from the sky and crash landed on Earth. [[spoiler:In truth, they are actually identities assumed by two out of three SiblingTeam of Planet O-50 warriors, sent to Earth to stop Reugosite from destroying it but lost their lives when shielding their younger sister Saki/monster Grigio Bone, sending them crash landing on Earth and losing their lives as a result]]. In the present day, they bonded with Katsumi and Isami of the Minato siblings to protect them from Grigio Bone's assault on Ayaka City. [[spoiler:Of course, it was not them, but their TransformationTrinket R/B Gyros choosing them as the new hosts]].
----
* CameFromTheSky: Rosso and Blu were actually the true identity of the Ayaka Star, the comet that crashed onto Earth. The comet splits into two said Ultras and for the worse, they split further into R/B Crystals.
* ColorfulThemeNaming: Rosso and Blu are Italian for "red" and "blue" respectively.
* CombinationAttack: The brothers can combine their respective {{Finishing Move}}s to destroy monsters. It depends on any form they uses.
** Cross Slugger: Both releases their R/B Sluggers respectively and slices the opponent, leaving an "X" slash mark.
** Rosso Flame + Blu Aqua = Flame Aqua Hybrid Shoot: Both fires their signature beams that merge into a spiraling energy beam before it hits the target.
** Rosso Aqua + Blu Flame: An unnamed finisher so far, Rosso traps the opponent in a giant ball of water before Blu shoots fire, creating a bubbling water bath on their target.
** Rosso Wind + Blu Flame = Fire Tornado: Rosso creates a stream of cyclone before Blu fires Pyro Attack, creating a cyclone of fire that send their target flying.
** Triple Origium Ray: By inserting the Orb Ring NEO to the Gyro, the brothers summon a giant projection of Ultraman Orb (Orb Origin) and performs Origium Ray.
* ComicBookMoviesDontUseCodenames: [[spoiler:Turns out according to ''Ultraman R/B Super Complete Works'', the previous users of Ultramen Rosso and Blu are indeed named ''[[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Rosso and Blu]]''. [[SarcasmMode What a shocker]]!]]
* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter: Both to Series/UltramanGeed (and of course, Series/UltramanOrb): both Ultras utilize the classic trope of bonding to average human host and uses one Ultraman power for each form instead of [[RuleOfTwo fusing two into one form]]. [[spoiler: In a twist on the concept however, the original Ultras Rosso and Blu are actually long dead with their {{Transformation Trinket}}s choosing the new users of their powers instead.]]
* DeadAllAlong: [[spoiler:Rosso and Blu weren't actually alive to begin with. Their original users died in a failed attempt to destroy Reugosite, which only sent the destroyer orbiting for 1,300 years]].
* ElementalPowers: Their default forms of fire and water are complimented with [[BlowYouAway Wind]] from Series/UltramanTiga and [[DishingOutDirt Ground]] from [[Series/UltramanGinga Ultraman Victory]] later on.
* FireWaterJuxtaposition: Though in a slight twist, Rosso and Blu are able to switch between elements as needed to use each other's powers.
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:The original Rosso and Blu sacrificed their lives to save their younger sister Saki, who at that time was Grigio Bone, from Reugosite's attack. The last time we see them, they dispersed into R/B Crystals]].
* HornedHumanoid: Rosso has two red ones, and Blu has a single blue one.
* IdenticalStranger: [[spoiler: While not seen in the series proper, supplementary material makes it clear that they look ''exactly'' like the modern inheritors of their powers, Katsumi and Isami.]] [[invoked]][[spoiler: FridgeHorror kicks in when one realizes that this means Saki's animosity towards Katsumi and Isami is born of looking at them and ''seeing her dead brothers staring back at her.'']]
* ItCanThink: Their R/B Gyros can act independently [[spoiler:despite their original users being long dead]].
* JapaneseBeetleBrothers: They carry minor motifs of this, with Rosso's two horns being reminiscent of the ''kuwagatamushi'' and Blu's singular one being like that of the ''kabutomushi''.
* LiterallyShatteredLives: They dispersed into Ultraman R/B Crystals across the original location of Ayaka City. [[spoiler:This is also how the original hosts of Rosso and Blu died]].
* MultiformBalance:
** JackOfAllStats: Flame for Rosso, Aqua for Blu. Each are the most balance of the forms.
** FragileSpeedster: Aqua for Rosso, Wind for both, as it give them the greatest speed but also uses up their energy faster leaving them more vulnerable to attacks.
** MightyGlacier: Flame for Blu, Ground for both, as it give them the greatest strength but is also the slowest.
* NewPowersAsThePlotDemands: In episode 10, they were briefly in possession of the Orb Ring NEO and this allows Rosso and Blu to perform Ultraman Orb's Sperion Ray and Zedcium Ray.
* PhlebotinumRebel: [[spoiler:15 years ago, Cereza got his hands on both Gyros and almost succeeded in harnessing the power of Ultramen before Mio stole them and delayed his plans for at least 15 years. Fortunately, her sons get the Gyros and put the powers of Rosso and Blu to good use]].
* RedOniBlueOni: Right down to their colors!
* SiblingFusion:
** Rosso and Blu can fuse into the super warrior, Ultraman Reube. They first do this in the final episode to defeat Leugocyte and avert the bad destiny where they die at its hands like their predecessors did.
** Starting from ''Film/UltramanRBTheMovieSelectTheCrystalOfBond'', Rosso and Blu can also fuse with Ultrawoman Grigio, who is the Ultrawoman form of the sister of their human hosts, into Ultraman Groob to defeat even stronger opponents.
* SiblingTeam: While there have been Ultraman sibling teams before, like Series/UltramanLeo and Astra, Rosso and Blu are the first in which both receive the starring role.
* WalkingSpoiler: The original Ultraman Rosso and Blu's involvement to the story, as well as their connection to Saki is an important aspect to the show.

[[folder:Ultraman Rosso]]
!! Ultraman Rosso
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ultraman_r.png]]
!!! Portrayed by: Yuya Hirata (voice), Hideyoshi Iwata (suit actor)
One of the two title Ultra heroes of the series, Ultraman Rosso is the elder brother of the pair of Ultramen who had come to Earth centuries ago to defeat the monster Grigio Bone only to be defeated and scattered into the many R/B Crystals the Minato brothers must collect. He naturally wields the power of fire.
----
* AnimalMotifs: Orb Dark was quick to compare Rosso's twin horns towards that of cat ears.
* BarrierWarrior: As Aqua, Rosso can conjure a reflective barrier.
* DualWielding: Befitting his twin horns motif, Rosso can use a differently paired R/B Sluggers. The use of R/B Crystals made different attacks.
* EnergyBall: Rosso's signature moves; every elemental forms he uses results in firing elemental sphere projectiles. It also overlaps with his host's baseball skills.
* FinishingMove:
** Flame: His default one is the Flame Sphere Shoot, being a giant fireball he launches at monsters to engulf them in blazes.
** Aqua: Splash Bomb, Rosso throws a ball of water to the opponent. He can adjust it to trap them or manipulating the size to perform a gigantic ball of water.
** Wind: Hurricane Bullet, he creates a ball of air before throwing them in a manner of a forkball.
** R/B Slugger:
*** [[SwordBeam Zero Twin Slicer]]: Using the Ultraman Zero crystal, Rosso launches a pair of powerful energy slashes toward his opponent.
* GravityMaster: Rosso Ground creates a gravitational well on a target before he pins them on the ground.
* HypocriticalHumor: In ''Ultraman Hit Song History: New Generation Arc'', Rosso was quick to point out that Zero's Zero Sluggers resembles a pair of cat ears, whereas Rosso's twin horns looks exactly like that as well.
* IKnowMaddenKombat: Since Katsumi is a baseball player (and by extent, a pitcher), this translated well into Rosso's skills by throwing an elemental ball-based pitches for Aqua and Wind.
* MirrorsReflectEverything: His Aqua Mirror Wall can reflect attacks back to his opponent.
* MythologyGag: He implements a pitchfork-like baseball tactic, not unlike Series/UltramanDyna.
* PlayingWithFire: His default form's powers, which are actually based in Series/UltramanTaro's R/B Crystal. He can also shoot small fireballs from his fingers.
* RedIsHeroic: To the point that his name is Italian for red!
* ReverseGrip: The left and shorter R/B Slugger Rosso is held like this.
* TheStrategist: Often came up with planning attacks during combat.

[[folder:Ultraman Blu]]
!! Ultraman Blu
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ultraman_b.png]]
!!! Portrayed by: Ryosuke Koike (voice), Akira Okabe (suit actor)
The second titular Ultra, making him the first case of two heroes in the ''Franchise/UltraSeries'' sharing the title spot. Ultraman Blu is the younger brother of Rosso, and like him, had originally appeared in the battle against Grigio Bone and later mysteriously reappeared when their old foe was resurrected in the present. By default, he wields the power of water.
----
* BlueIsHeroic: Right down to his name.
* CoolSword: His R/B Slugger Blu is a single long blade.
* ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin: Ultraman Blu is... a blue Ultraman. Go figure.
* FinishingMove:
** Aqua: The Aqua Stream is his go-to one, being a classic L-shaped beam of watery energy.
** Flame: Blu initiates Flame Equilix, firing a stream of fire.
** Wind: In contrast to his element, the Storm Shooting fires a standard energy beam by stretching both arms forward.
** Ground: Smashes the ground with Earth Bringer and summons series of shockwave explosion.
** R/B Sluggger:
*** [[SwordBeam Wide Shot Slugger]]: Using the Ultraseven crystal, he sends a powerful energy slash in the form Ultraseven's Eye Slugger.
*** [[ShockAndAwe Spark Attacker]]: Using the Ultraman X crystal, the Slugger is enveloped by green-colored thunder energy and Blu slashes at his opponent, electrocuting them.
*** [[SwordBeam Bringer Slash]]: Using the Ultraman Tiga crystal, Blu creates a powerful purple energy slash.
*** Gravity Slasher, a V-shaped energy slash of Earth.
* HealingHands: His Aqua form can heal injuries of another Ultra.
* HighAltitudeBattle: Blu Wind is capable of aerial dogfight with Gue-Basser.
* KamehameHadoken: In contrast to Rosso's energy ball attacks, Blu usually fires a stream of any elemental energy beam once his hands stretch outwards.
* LeeroyJenkins: Had it not for Rosso's guidance, Blu would have been toast in the first battle against Grigio Bone.
* MakingASplash: Based in the powers of Series/UltramanGinga's R/B Crystal, which allows him to, among other things, fire a cutting stream of water from his hands.

[[folder:Ultraman Orb Dark]]
!! Ultraman Orb Dark (Noir Black Schwarz)
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/orbdark_cbedit.png]]
!!! Portrayed by: Motoki Fukami (voice), Shinnosuke Ishikawa (suit actor)
A black colored version of Series/UltramanOrb (specifically, Orb Origin form), who Makoto Aizen transforms into with his own creation, the Orb Ring NEO. Having created this dark version of Orb after unlocking the Ultra's R/B Crystal, Makoto intends to use this form to show the Minato Brothers what he believes a true Ultraman should be.
----
For tropes that also apply to the real Ultraman Orb, see the [[Characters/UltramanOrb character sheet for Ultraman Orb]].

* AgentPeacock: Makes a lot of effeminate movements (even making heart-shaped hand gestures) but retains the status of being one of Rosso and Blu's greatest opponent.
* AscendedFanboy: In a twisted way: [[spoiler:Cereza is inspired by the heroics of Ultraman Orb in his past and so went to Earth just to become one. Being Orb Dark however is tarnishing his hero's legacy by fighting against monster attacks which ''he himself'' orchestrated.]]
* BadassCreed: His starts off strong, but he ruins it at the end with his ''hysterically'' stupid addition to his name.
-->"The light of the galaxy calls me too! My name is Ultraman Orb Dark... Noir Black Schwarz!"
* {{BFS}}: His Orb Dark Calibur
* ColorfulThemeNaming: The latter part of his name, "Noir Black Schwarz" is French, English and German for black.
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist: Towards [[Series/UltramanGeed Kei Fukuide]]: both transforms using the power of Ultraman, but whereas Kei uses an already evil Ultraman to fuse two Kaiju powers into a new Kaiju, Orb Dark is an EvilKnockoff created when the original copy of a heroic Ultraman is polluted with Makoto's selfish desire.
* DarkIsEvil: See ColorfulThemeNaming.
* DarkReprise: Orb Dark's {{leitmotif}} during transformation step is an orchestra version of Orb Origin's transformation theme.
* DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment: Orb Dark gets the Dark Ultra's theme across perfectly fine, but Makoto/Cereza insisted on adding "Noir Black Schwartz", which is French, English, and German, respectively, for Black.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: Basically this is what Orb Dark's actual role in the series: he's just an antagonist by Makoto Aizen and was only acting as an AntiVillain of sorts to the Minato brothers. In the end, he was defeated by a Kaiju who was out of his own control.
* ElementalPowers: The Orb Dark Calibur contains a ring which Orb Dark can spin to tap into the powers of Flame, Ice, Rock or Storm. Unlike the original Orbcalibur, neither of the basic attacks are actual finishers.
** [[PlayingWithFire Orb Dark Inferno Calibur]] allows him to create a ring of fire that he later on launches to the target.
** [[AnIcePerson Orb Dark Ice Calibur]] creates ice eruptions on the ground that rains ice blocks on target.
** [[DishingOutDirt Orb Dark Rock Calibur]] allows him to creates explosion on ground and send several stones flying to his target.
* EngineeredHeroics: Tries to set this up by arranging and predicting events that he can interfere just to capture the hearts of citizens.
* EvilKnockoff: Of the original Orb Origin.
* EvilLaugh: It ended up with him coughing, but at least he tried.
* FinishingMove: He can perform darker versions of Orb's attacks. With the exception of Dark Origium Ray, others attacks he made is by pressing the Orb Ring NEO.
** Orb Origin's Origium Ray: Performed by plugging the Orb Ring NEO to the Gyro and pulls it thrice. In a FreezeFrameBonus, he also made a heart-shaped energy construct before firing.
** Burnmite's [[ActionBomb Stobium Dynamite]]: Performed by pressing the Orb Ring NEO's central button and charges his body with fire before running towards the opponent.
* HeroicWannabe: He is ''so so desperately'' wants to be considered a beloved hero, but he constantly displays a mere surface level understanding of what being an Ultraman ''is'' with all the flash and none of the substance. He has no patience for Ultramen sticking around and chatting after a fight and has no empathy for Rosso having an important event that clashes with fighting a Kaiju. [[spoiler: This likely comes from Cereza's only real interaction with an Ultra before the series being Orb fighting a monster and leaving without even knowing he'd been there.]]
* {{Hypocrite}}: In general, every time Orb Dark points out the errors of the Minato brothers and Ultramen, this only paints him as an even worse example than the two combined:
** He is more than happy to criticize Rosso and Blu for not living up to what "true" Ultramen are, yet he purposefully sets up disasters to make himself look like a hero, which is the total ''opposite'' of what an Ultraman does. Rosso and Blu call him out on this as they beat him senseless.
** He criticizes Rosso and Blue for speaking too much and ruining the mystique, ignoring how he made his incredibly stupid BadassCreed above and had been ranting about their mistakes ever since the fight began. In addition, his own flamboyant, effeminate poses do make him lose quite a lot of mystique himself.
** On top of this, his idol Ultraman Orb does ''exactly'' the things he accuses Rosso and Blu of:
*** Just like the brothers, Orb spoke a lot during battle, even making a BadassCreed just like himself.
*** He criticises Isami for having a friendly chat with his classmate, and the brothers for posing for a photo with Asahi and her classmates. Even if he doesn't do it in Ultra form, Gai is a friendly guy who often chats with others, such as with the Alien Babalou pretending to be himself or the girl who could predict monster attacks. He also often stops to acknowledge the SSP after he defeats a monster.
*** He criticizes Isami for hesitating to attack Mecha Gomora knowing that if he screwed up he'd end up killing his friend Kaoru stating "A first-rate hero does not waver!" However, Ultraman Orb wavered ''hard'' when in his fight against Maga-Zetton he thought that his friend Natasha had been killed in the crossfire, and nearly killing Naomi when he destroyed Galactron as Thunder Breastar made him waver again.
*** His ranting about the brothers' inexperience clearly disregards how Orb himself was just as inexperienced at first, as evidenced by how Gai fumbled through his first fight in ''The Origin Saga''.
** One of his complaints towards Rosso and Blu is that their colors are too flashy, and is proof of his surface level understanding of Ultras as, barring their black, and in Rosso's case orange, accents, Rosso and Blu are [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Red and Blue.]] ''The two most traditional Ultraman colors''. Meanwhile Orb Dark is ''Black and Silver'' a coloration [[FallenHero only shared by]] [[Series/UltramanTiga Tiga]] [[TheAtoner Dark.]]
** In his report cards for Katsumi and Isami in episode 8, one of those points are their respect on past Ultramen's powers. The {{Irony}} here is that Katsumi and Isami are [[TheChosenOne chosen]] by the Gyros, particularly for their attempt to save a child from Grigio Bone's attack, whereas Orb Dark is a result of Makoto/[[spoiler:Cereza]] forcing the power of Ultraman Orb onto himself. Additionally, he recruited several victims to heal the Orb Origin Crystal, which is a forced version of the original Orb earning past Ultraman powers and respect for his down-to-earth attitude.
* HypocriteHasAPoint: His rant about the Minato bros, aka. Rosso and Blu being rookies and unfit for being Ultramen isn't actually pointless, since even in ''Series/UltraGalaxyFightNewGenerationHeroes'', the brothers never really being progressive in terms of attitude and training, earning a reprimand from [[Series/UltramanGinga Ultraman Victory]]. That being said, Orb Dark only fights monsters that his human host, Makoto ([[spoiler:actually Chereza]]) unleashed as part of his EngineeredHeroics and instantly defeated when an outside forces intervene the battle. Meaning, even Orb Dark was no better than the brothers combined.
* {{Idiosyncrazy}}: A real embodiment of this trope. Orb Dark is the realization of an Ultraman Orb fanboy Makoto Aizen ([[spoiler:actually Chereza]]) wanting to become an Ultraman ''[[ExactWords just like Orb]]''. The black coloration and red eyes are the only distinct traits from the real Ultra himself.
* JerkassHasAPoint: Orb Dark's rant about how an Ultraman supposed to be flashy in the eyes of the civilian is surprisingly true, as they prefer the extravagantly GloryHound Orb Dark instead of Rosso and Blu who fight out of pure heroism. As revealed in ''Ultraman R/B the Movie'', the brothers have yet to actually earn the townspeople's respect and they are still a bunch of {{UngratefulBastard}}s only because of Rosso, Blu and Geed's role as DestructiveSavior after fighting Gan-Q and Bemstar.
* LaserGuidedKarma:
** One of the reasons he wins in his first fight because he anticipated an attack of Rosso and Blu. In their second match, he was defeated because Rosso anticipated his Stobium Dynamite's attack.
** To retrieve the Orb Ring NEO that Rosso and Blu took from him, he summoned Horoboros to defeat the brothers before staging a fight to publicly defeat it as Orb Dark. Fittingly, Orb Dark's last appearance in the series has him being swiftly defeated by an empowered Horoboros summoned by Saki.
* MythologyGag: His transformation scene is a play of Fusion Up and Orb Origin transformation scenes.
* OverlyLongName: [[InvokedTrope Invoked]]. His original name is Ultraman Orb Dark but Makoto adds the rest because it feels cool.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: In episode 8, he delivers this to each brothers: he slaps Blu multiple times and headlocks Rosso for disturbing him when he was busy cooling his hand in a lake.
* RuleOfCool: Adds "Noir Black Schwarz" on his name because the original being too bland. Isami lampshades its redundancy in the intro of episode 9:
-->'''Isami''': What's dangerous about him? His name is ''way too long''! You see, Noir is French, Black is English, and Schwarz is German. If translated, all of them mean black! That means, his name is literally ''Ultraman Orb Dark '''[[OverlyLongGag Black Black Black]]'''!'' He's just [[DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment repeating]] the same words all over again! What's that? Is he an idiot?!
* TheyDontMakeThemLikeTheyUsedTo: [=Makoto/Orb=] Dark is ''not'' satisfied with recent Ultras Rosso and Blu, ranging from their flashy colors and how they keep talking during combat. [[spoiler: [[{{Hypocrite}} This is ignoring the fact that his idol Ultraman Orb does some of the exact same things he complains about Rosso and Blu doing.]]]]
* TrainingFromHell: He never stops criticizing problems with Rosso and Blu's behavior while he attacks on them.

[[folder:Ultraman Ruebe]]
!! Ultraman Ruebe
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rb1_2.png]]
!!! Portrayed by: Yuya Hirata & Ryosuke Koike (voice)
A fusion of Ultraman Rosso and Blu, created when Katsumi and Isami uses the Kiwami Crystal (combined from the original Series/{{Ultraman}}, [[Franchise/UltramanZero Belial]], Taro, Ginga, Tiga, and Victory) and scanned onto their R/B Gyros. It is the series' own equivalent to a final form.
----
* AllYourPowersCombined: Merges all of their elemental crystals to create the Kiwami Crystal.
* BlingOfWar: His color ''is'' gold, to be precise. And then there's his transformation call by the brothers:
-->'''Katsumi and Isami''': Enshrined by extremity! The golden universe!
* EleventhHourSuperpower: [[spoiler:With Asahi revealed to be the Makoto Crystal, she docked herself into the Ruebe Kourin, allowing Ruebe to perform Shin (True) Vortex Buster and kills Reugosite]].
* FusionDance: Of Rosso and Blu
* GoldenSuperMode
* MeaningfulName: Ruebe is how the Japanese pronounce "R/B", aka. the show's title. Of course, it also means Rosso/Blu, hinting at how this Ultra is their fusion.
* MythologyGag: He holds the Ruebe Kourin in the same fashion as the [[Series/UltramanOrb Orb Ring and Dark Ring]].
* NoSell: Resists Grigio King's Bone Breather with a single shield as he march forward and grabs its mouth.
* RingsOfDeath: The Ruebe Kourin is a weapon summoned from the gold ring on his chest, as opposed to his horns.
* ScrewDestiny: [[spoiler:Rosso, Blu and the Minato brothers were destined to die at Reugosite's hands. During their final fight, Rosso and Blu managed to combine into Ruebe at the last moment, when they were engulfed by Reugosite’s attack, therefore averting the BadFuture]].

[[folder:Ultrawoman Grigio]]
!! Ultrawoman Grigio
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ultrawoman_grigio.png]]
!!! Portrayed by: Arisa Sonohara (voice)
The younger sister of Rosso & Blu, as well as one of the few female Ultra Warriors. She appears in ''Film/UltramanRBTheMovieSelectTheCrystalOfBond'', helping her older brothers confront the vile Ultraman Tregear and his kaiju Snake Darkness.
----
* AdaptationalBadass: Whereas Grigio is naturally a SquishyWizard, the Ultra Heroes EXPO 2019 portrayed her differently, wherein she can fight on equal terms with ''[[Film/UltramanTigaTheFinalOdyssey Camearra]]'', a Dark Giant capable of matching Series/UltramanTiga, and finished the evil ultra with a FinishingMove of her own.
* TheBabyOfTheBunch: The younger sister of Rosso and Blu, hence being the youngest sibling as a whole.
* BarrierWarrior: Grigio can conjure her orange energy shield to defend her brothers. Hers is five times stronger than Rosso and Blu.
* DeadGuyJunior: By the time Ultrawoman Grigio existed, her namesake had long passed away.
* EleventhHourRanger: She debut on ''Film/UltramanRBTheMovieSelectTheCrystalOfBond'', which take place after the events of the show's finale.
* HealingHands: It also appears that she can also use her healing ability to recover her injured brothers.
* MythologyGag: Grigio is the second female Ultra in canon to actually use the title "Ultrawoman" after Ultrawoman Beth from ''Anime/UltramanTheAdventureBegins'', and the first to debut in a Japanese-created and live-action series.
* NonIndicativeName: Ironically her name means Gray in Italy, but her main color is orange. This is because [[spoiler:Grigio comes from her late friend Saki Mitsurugi, and wanted to honor her in memory]].
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: She is the very first female Ultra to be introduced in the "New Generation" portion of the franchise's history.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Despite sharing the same translated English name with the Grigio monsters, their Japanese names are spelled and pronounced differently: Ultrawoman Grigio (Gurījo) vs Grigio Bone (Gurujio Bōn)
* SquishyWizard: Is still a novice in combat (partly because of Asahi's pacifistic nature), thus making her function more of a WhiteMage in combat.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Ultraman Tregear]]
!! Ultraman Tregear
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tregeartaigaseries.png]]
!!! Portrayed by: Creator/YuumaUchida (voice)

Ultraman Tregear is an evil Ultraman and the main antagonist of ''Ultraman R/B The Movie''. This enigmatic warrior has ended lives on countless worlds by meddling with the hearts of its inhabitants. Arriving on Earth, he has met Katsumi's friend Yukio Toi, manipulating him and nurturing his hatred to transform him into the kaiju Snake Darkness.

Tregear returns in the succeeding series, ''Series/UltramanTaiga'', as the main antagonist, with more of his motives and backstory being revealed.
----
''See [[Characters/UltramanTaiga here]] for tropes regarding him.''

[[folder: Ultraman Gruebe]]
!! Ultraman Gruebe
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gruebe.png]]
!!! Portrayed by: Yuya Hirata, Ryosuke Koike & Arisa Sonohara (voice)

Ultraman Gruebe is another Fusion Ultra created by Rosso, Blu and Grigio appearing in ''Ultraman R/B The Movie: Select! The Crystal of Bond'' .
----
* AllYourPowersCombined: Like Ruebe, he merges all of three Ultras' powers to create the Makoto Crystal.
* FusionDance: Of Rosso, Blue and Grigio.
* GoodCounterpart: Can be considered one to [[Series/AndroMelos Guar]]/[[Series/UltramanX Guar Spectre]], in that this is the first heroic version of a three-sibling fusion.
* NonStandardCharacterDesign: All publicly viewable footage of Groob in ''R/B The Movie'' so far portrays the character fully in CGI.
* RingsOfDeath: Inherited the Ruebe Kourin from Ultraman Ruebe.
* ShoutOut: The fusion of two older brothers and a single youngest sister harkens way back to a Showa Tokusatsu show made by Creator/TsuburayaProductions, ''Triple Fighter''.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS:
** Ultraman Gruebe pronounced ''Gurubu'' but on Tsubaraya's official website his name is given as ''Groob''.
** Its finisher is none the better due to conflicting Katakana: the Makoto Crystal toy said that the "+" style finisher is Gruebi'''um''' Ray/グルービ'''ウム'''光線, but its soft vinyl action figure read it as Gruebi'''ng''' Ray/グルービ'''ング'''光線.

[[/folder]]

[[folder:Previous Heroes Appearing in ''Ultraman R/B'']]
!! Series/UltramanOrb
The titular hero of his own series, Orb was mentioned to have fought and saved an alien planet in the past. One of his spectators was a young Cereza, who wanted to follow his footsteps and thus went to Earth and triggers the very events that led to the Minato brothers becoming Ultramen themselves.
----
For tropes applying to him in general, see the [[Characters/UltramanOrb character sheet for Ultraman Orb]].

* AttackOfThe50FootWhatever: When Rosso and Blu execute Triple Origium Ray, a '''giant''' projection of Ultraman Orb appeared from their back and participate in the attack by combining their beams.
* TheGhost: Indirect example. The flashback of Ultraman Orb does exist but most of Cereza's mannerisms imitate his human form, Gai Kurenai.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Orb's rescue in the past inspired young Cereza to go to Earth and acquire the power of Ultraman, thus creating monster attacks in Ayaka City along the way.

!! [[Series/UltramanGeed Riku Asakura/Ultraman Geed]]
!!! Portrayed by: Tatsuomi Hamada

The titular hero of his own series, Riku Asakura aka Ultraman Geed, the son of Ultraman Belial who had come to another world to fight Ultraman Tregear in ''Ultraman R/B The Movie: Select! The Crystal of Bond''
----
For tropes applying to him in general, see the [[Characters/UltramanGeed character sheet for Ultraman Geed]].

* TrappedInAnotherWorld: Gets shoved into Minato brothers' Earth, [[spoiler:courtesy of Tregear]].
[[/folder]]

! Humans

[[folder:The Minato Brothers]]
!!Tropes Applying to Both
* BokeAndTsukkomiRoutine: They gives out commentaries in the prologue of every episodes. Katsumi always being the tsukkomi and Isami being the boke. Episode 9 is an exception, when Isami points out on how ridiculous Ultraman Orb Dark's exaggerated long name as Katsumi tries to calm him down.
* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter: The brothers are opposites to Riku Asakura of ''Series/UltramanGeed''. First, they are pure humans that bonded with an Ultraman instead of being one in disguise. Next, the only family conflict here is both of the brothers' own constant bickering and how they solve the problems whereas Riku was troubled with his dark heritage and contemplate to defy his fate.
* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: Isami is the foolish one to Katsumi's responsible one. However, Isami is actually the smarter of the pair; it's just Katsumi tends to play the role of StraightMan more often.
* IdenticalStranger: [[spoiler: They look ''exactly'' like the original Rosso and Blu, who died 1300 years ago.]]
* IMissMom: Katsumi is the most visible example of it, but Isami's inspiration to pursue science is mostly of honoring her memory.
* RedOniBlueOni: Responding with their appropriate Ultraman identities, Katsumi is the red (mainly in his passions, especially for baseball) to Isami's blue (due to his more free-spirited nature).
* SiblingTeam: Like their respective Ultramen.
* TransformationTrinket: Both brothers use their own R/B Gyro, and the appropriate R/B Crystals as well.

!! Katsumi Minato
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/katsumi_minato.png]]
!!! Portrayed by: Yuya Hirata
The older of the Minato brothers and human host of Ultraman Rosso, Katsumi is an even-tempered and intellectual young man who had aspired to be a professional baseball player until the brothers' mother vanished 15 years ago. While he has since abandoned his dreams to support the family store, he still remains passionate about them. He transforms into Ultraman Rosso with his R/B Gyro and one of the four Ultraman Crystals; usually Taro’s.
----
* AffectionateNickname: Is called "Katsu-nii" (Brother Katsu) by Isami and Asahi.
* BigBrotherInstinct: To his siblings, so much so that he sacrificed his dream as a baseball player to support his father's clothing shop.
* TheFashionista: Has a keen fashion sense and can determine suitable clothes for customers.
* GreaterNeedThanMine: He sacrifices his dream to become a professional baseball player just to help his father run the store and support his family.
* HeroicBystander: A kid almost get attacked by Grigio Bone? Who cares about evacuating, that kid needs to be rescued!
* LovableJock: Is a baseball fan and is also the protagonist of this show.
* OnlySaneMan: Let's see, he chastises Isami for being sloven in front of customers, scolding Ushio for his poor sense of designing clothes (again), has a worried look when his overexcited siblings visit Aizentech and was forced to keep up with the Aizentech president's own goofish antics.

!! Isami Minato
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/isami_minato.png]]
!!! Portrayed by: Ryosuke Koike
The younger of the two brothers and the human host of Ultraman Blu. Isami is a studious and optimistic college student majoring in space archaeology (his mother's field). Something of a moodmaker, he deeply respects his brother and his sacrifices. He is able to transform into Ultraman Blu by using his own R/B Gyro and one of the four Ultraman Crystals; usually Ginga’s.
----
* AffectionateNickname: Asahi refers to him as "Isa-nii" (Brother Isa).
* AnnoyingYoungerSibling: Where do we start: first he wakes up in noon with slovenly appearance ''right in front of customers'' (which they never mind but Katsumi does). The next day his curiosity leads to Grigio Bone and initially refused Katsumi's orders to run before getting terrified and finally delivers a ''literal'' [[FriendlyFireIndex Friendly Fire]] as Ultraman Blu while trying to cope with his flame power. All in the first episode. Saying that Katsumi had enough is one huge understatement.
* BadassBookworm: Grows into this as the series passes on.
* BigBrotherWorship: Admires his brother's sacrifice to take care of the family. Not that Isami is brave enough to express his gratitude.
* DoesNotKnowHowToSayThanks: Subverted that he is thankful but is too shy to say it, even to his older brother.
* FaceYourFears: Happens in Episode 7.
* GadgeteerGenius: Creates a radio wave detector that signals a monster’s presence.
* HeroicBSOD: Suffers a good portion of this is episode 7 after almost killing his old friend Kaoru in the previous episode while she was bonded to Mecha-Gomora.
* JumpedAtTheCall: Was all too happy to receive Blu's powers and fight Grigio Bone itself right on the bat.
* NotAMorningPerson: Justified as he tends to burn an all-nighter just to complete a research. He wakes up at noon, believing it still morning.
* SharedFamilyQuirks: Isami prioritizes his research over himself but willingly spares some free time with his parents, just like his mother.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: In Episode 7, It's shown that Isami's scared of killing an innocent civilian.

!! Asahi Minato
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/asahi.png]]
!!! Portrayed by: Arisa Sonohara
The younger sister of Katsumi and Isami Minato. Asahi may still be in high school, but her love of peace and dreams to see everyone get along means that she's usually the one who helps to heal any rifts in the family. When not doing typically high school girl activities, she handles the housework on behalf of her mother.

[[spoiler:Following episode 12 onward, there's a mystery as to who she actually was since neither Makoto nor Kaoru recognize her. Her true identity, as revealed in the final episode, is the embodiment of the Makoto Crystal, which was sent to the Minato brothers along with the R/B Gyros after Grigio Bone's first attack.]]
----
* ActualPacifist: Can't even bring herself to play rock paper scissors!
* TheBabyOfTheBunch: Is the youngest of the siblings and only daughter of the Minato family.
* {{Joshikousei}}: Is frequently seen in a high school uniform. WordOfGod confirms that she's based on a Japanese high school girl.
* InventedIndividual: [[spoiler:YES! She's a R/B Crystal who modeled herself after Mio Minato's vision if she were to have a daughter, naming her Asahi]].
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: Is oblivious to what Katsumi, Isami and even Makoto did behind her backs like her father. Episode 12 subverts this.
* RealityWarper: [[spoiler:Her mere presence somehow slightly altered reality and the memories of people so that it would be as if she had been there all along.]]
* TerribleArtist: She draws Rosso as if anyone mistook him for a rabbit.
* WalkingSpoiler: [[spoiler:So who is she actually when there's no photographs of her younger self? The answer lies in the final episode]].
* WideEyedIdealist: Still believes that Saki is a good person, despite how Asahi saw the former multiple times summoning monsters. [[spoiler:And judging by the prequel novel, Asahi's right, but the only person able to draw Saki's [[UsedToBeASweetKid kinder self]] back is none other than the Minato brothers' (attempted) HeroicSacrifice]].

!! Ushio Minato
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ushio.png]]
!!! Portrayed by: Ginnojo Yamazaki
The father of Katsumi, Isami, and Asahi Minato. Ushio is a kindhearted man who runs a specialty store in Ayaka City called Quattro M, which he originally opened to fund his vanished wife's research. He is unaware that his two sons are Ultraman Rosso and Blu, but he worries greatly about what appears to be increasingly rebellious behavior from them lately.
----
* ADayInTheLimelight: Episode 18 focuses on him running the store with [[spoiler:aliens]] interviewing his business.
%% * BumblingDad
* FunTShirt: His main attraction, but unfortunately most people find it weird.
* GoodParents: Strives to become one to get his three children in line.
* HappilyMarried: With his missing wife. He used the profits from his clothing business to fund her research, which is also an act of true love.
* HighSchoolSweethearts: The official website says that he and Mio are classmates in high school.
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: Is oblivious to both Katsumi and Isami's double lives as Ultramen, at the same time not knowing that Aizen was behind all the monster attacks. [[spoiler:Episode 23 has him knowing his sons' double lives after Mio returns from the dimensional subspace]].
* IWillWaitForYou: Firmly believes that his wife will return from her 15-year-long disappearance.
* RummageSaleReject: Seriously, how did his clothing store had been operating for years?
* WellDoneDadGuy: Worries of Katsumi and Isami's change of behavior and strives to become a good father.

!! Mio Minato
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/post_4931_ultramanrb_mio_2_5.jpg]]
!!! Portrayed by: Kaori Manabe
The MissingMom of the Minato family. She was greatly immersed in her research in space archaeology between spending time with her family, but mysteriously disappeared fifteen years prior to the series, changing the family's dynamics.
----
* AllThereInTheManual: The official website describes that:
** She's a BigEater.
** GeniusSweetTooth: If she's stressed with work, eating '''lots''' of candy would relieve it.
** HighSchoolSweethearts: She and Ushio met each other as classmates of the same high school.
* CordonBleughChef: In the movie. Really, what kind of a maniac who would pour cola into a nabe?!
* DeceasedParentsAreTheBest: Of the disappeared variant. Katsumi mentioned that she was a caring mother even if she was immersed with research.
* HappilyMarried: To Ushio.
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:Using leftover equipment from Makoto, she attempts to bring Reugosite away from Earth by taking herself with it as well until her sons and husband prevented her from doing it]].
* IJustWantToBeNormal: She regretted finding the R/B Gyros that leads to her sons becoming Ultramen and wished that the Minato family can just have a normal life.
* ItsAllMyFault: See IJustWantToBeNormal.
* MissingMom: The main driving point that changes her family's lives.
* [[DaddyHadAGoodReasonForAbandoningYou Mommy Had a Good Reason for Abandoning You]]: [[spoiler:Turns out, she knew what Makoto (Cereza) was planning so she stole the Gyro from Aizentech and disappeared for 15 years]].
* TheReveal: She helped Makoto studying the R/B Crystals in the past, [[spoiler:and is also studying on the R/B Gyros before escaping with them]].
* SetRightWhatOnceWentWrong: [[spoiler:Will stop at nothing to prevent her sons from becoming Ultramen and threw their lives from fighting against Reugosite. Fortunately they managed to ScrewDestiny, putting her fears to rest]].
* SpannerInTheWorks: [[spoiler:She stole the two Gyros to delay Makoto's plan to harness an Ultraman's power for 15 years, at the same time said Gyros were used by her sons to thwart Makoto on that same year]].
* TragicKeepsake: Her shared diary is what remains of her and the Minato brothers used it for reference on the R/B Crystals.

!! Makoto Aizen [[spoiler:(Cereza)]]
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/aizen.png]]
[[caption-width-right:250:[[labelnote:'''SPOILER''']]https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chereza.png[[/labelnote]]]]
!!! Portrayed by: Motoki Fukami, Miki Ohtani (young Cereza; voice)
The president and research manager of Aizentech, a corporation based in Ayaka City that has recently garnered international attention for its studies of space development and unknown energies. Confident, friendly, and always in a clean white suit, he is a beloved celebrity among the people of Ayaka City.

Or so it seems...

[[spoiler:In truth, he is actually possessed by a gaseous alien entity named Cereza, who wants to exploit the power of Ultraman for his own. With Makoto as a cover, he is responsible for the city's daily monster attacks and deems both Mio's sons as unfit to be Ultramen. With the Orb Ring NEO, he becomes Ultraman Orb Dark.]]
----
* AffablyEvil: [[spoiler:Cereza is genuinely evil, or just a LoonyFan, but is polite at best]].
* AudienceSurrogate: He's basically an InUniverse Ultraman Orb fanboy (and by extension to the franchise thanks to his knowledge of various kaiju) [[spoiler:who wants to become Orb himself]]. There's also the moment where he corrects Rosso and Blu that [[Series/UltramanAce Aribunta]] is a Choju, not a kaiju, referencing a common misconception new fans make.
* BenevolentBoss: In and out of the company, he is renowned for his pleasant behavior.
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist: To [[Series/UltramanGeed Kei Fukude]]. Both Aizen and Kei are [[VillainWithGoodPublicity villains with good publicity]], the source of the Kaiju attacks, have a connection to a relative of the main heroes, and seemingly hidden under the noses of the main characters. However, Kei was the servant of Ultraman Belial (Geed's father), his good publicity came from writing a story portraying Belial as a hero, served Belial because Belial saved his life, and was shown to be rather harmful to those he worked with/those who served under him (as shown when [[spoiler: he murders his editor and Aire]]). Aizen, on the other hand, so far doesn't serve anyone, [[spoiler: worked alongside Mio Minato researching the R[=/=]B crystals]], he's the head of a corporation, and is a BenevolentBoss (from what we've seen so far). [[spoiler:As we progressed to episode 8, we learn that this man is not Makoto, but an alien who uses his body for more than 15 years!]]
** Their contrasts even extend to their choice of outfits - Kei wears black leather, whereas Makoto wears a white suit.
* CorruptCorporateExecutive: He orchestrate monster attacks and collects them, heavily expecting Rosso and Blu to defeat them. [[spoiler:Subverted that it was the job of the alien who possessed him]].
* CrazyPrepared: While already a known president of Aizentech, Makoto has been building several utilities behind his company's back, such as an Anti Monster Restraining System to freeze monsters, building a King Joe unit for a Future Earth Attack team to support him in the event he becomes an Ultraman and a Large Hadron Collider to create Dimension Hole for Aizen to exit Earth once he fulfill his lifelong dream. [[spoiler:The latter part proves its use in the final episode when Mio Minato tries to bring Reugosite away from Earth with her as part of a HeroicSacrifice until she was prevented by her children.]]
* DemonicPossession: [[spoiler:Makoto was actually innocent this whole time! He was possessed by the alien Cereza for more than 15 years just to remain hidden on Earth]].
* DiegeticSoundtrackUsage: Whistles Gai's Orbnica at the end of episode 5 while polishing the damaged Orb Origin Crystal.
* {{Determinator}}: Amidst Mio's theft of the Gyros, Makoto manages to rebuild another one. Its just that it took a ''very'' long time in a span of 15 years to get it back.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: He refuses the idea of stealing the Minato brothers' Gyro, which would render them incapable of transforming because its too common for evil aliens to do it. He wants to defeat them in an honorable way.
* TheFashionista: Never seen without a white tuxedo.
* Fiction500: Its nothing strange since he's the CEO of Aizentech. One of the many things he spent with his money is buying a leather jacket that was meant for prop display at a high price and bought several boxes of Quattro M's shirts.
* GloryHound: [[spoiler:As Orb Dark, he sets up monster attacks and accidents just to get more popularity. Doubles as EngineeredHeroics]].
* GreenEyedMonster: He is the third in a row after [[Series/UltramanOrb Juggler]] and Kei: he envied the Minato brothers for being chosen to become Ultraman before him, gaining more popularity than him, not living up to the standard of a "perfect" Ultraman and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking having no need to pay a high amount of taxes]].
* {{Idiosyncrazy}}: He is a fanboy of Ultras in general, but the one he's inspired from the most is Ultraman Orb, down to Gai Kurenai's traits and behavior. [[spoiler:This is all because of Orb was Cereza's rescuer in the past, and his desire to become an Ultraman comes purely from Orb and no one else]].
* IJustWantToBeYou: [[spoiler:Ultraman Orb was the rescuer of young Cereza in the past, and so he went to Earth and try to become an Ultraman so that he can follow Orb's footsteps]].
* ItsAllAboutMe: Kidnaps Kaoru to strap her into Mecha Gomora just to make the fight against Minato brothers more ‘lively’ and is frustrated when their sibling issue is put above the importance of fighting against him. He also deems them unfit to be Ultramen as well and stages multiple [[spoiler:"accidents" just for his alter-ego Orb Dark to interfere]].
* KabukiSounds: Accompanied by these musical cues whenever he writes down a haiku. [[spoiler:As Orb Dark, he says Orb Burnmite's CatchPhrase in a similar fashion to KabukiTheatre actors when using Dark Stobium Dynamite.]]
* LargeHam: As if NoIndoorVoice but he can change his tone quietly when he likes. He hams it up whenever he delivers a Haiku OnceAnEpisode.
* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: [[spoiler:Chereza's entire AZ Plan: being an Ultraman fan and all, he is well known on the tropes surrounding the Ultramen and their battles, so when he plans to obtain the power of Ultraman, Chereza is even contemplate to create an Earth Attack Team like usual Ultra Series would do by silently turning Aizentech headquarters into an Anti Monster Fortress and build a King Joe underground for the Attack Team's CombiningMecha to support him in against monster attacks]].
* LifesWorkRuined: [[spoiler:Because of Saki taking ownership of D.R.L.N., she quickly wipes Cereza away and imprisons him in Aizentech's ventilation system. Cereza spends his final moments lamenting how his plan fails]].
-->[[spoiler:Cereza]]: "Is this the end? My AZ plan will entirely be in vain!"
* LightIsNotGood: A cheerful man in white business suit? [[SarcasmMode Looks like a good guy to me]]. [[spoiler:Well, at least the latter part of the show reveals that its not Makoto]].
* LoonyFan: Is implied to be one for [[Series/UltramanOrb Gai Kurenai]], not only having the Orb Origin Crystal, but also his affinity for wanderers and any elements of it, including to how he whistles the Orbnica music. [[spoiler:As we learn of who he actually is, Cereza reveals that he himself wanted to become an Ultraman and despises the Minato Brothers for stumbling into what he's been hunting for ''15 years''.]].
* MadeOfIron: A petrified bird falls hundred feet from the sky and knocks onto his head. He falls but gets up seconds later as if it was nothing.
* NeverMyFault: He dismisses the idea of unleashing monsters to the city will harm the citizens and only fixated on what he's considered a popularity contest, while constantly blaming the Minato bros for being unfit to be the Ultra Warriors.
* NotMeThisTime: When Horoboros appeared for the second time after the Bezelb's destruction, Makoto/[[spoiler:Orb Dark]] proclaims that this wasn't his doing, and from his terrified expression, he's right!
* ObfuscatingStupidity: He looks like a hammy and {{Cloudcuckoolander}} kinda guy, right? Not so much when he was revealed to have a set of R/B Crystals of Ultra Kaiju that the Minato bros defeated, and is later revealed to be the one behind their appearances.
* PetTheDog: Buying several boxes of the Quattro M shirts before fighting the siblings as Orb Dark is at least a genuine effort to support the Minato family's own business.
* ScrewTheRulesIHaveMoney: Buys a leather jacket prop from the Quattro M store even if Katsumi tries to tell him it wasn't for sale. His big paycheck silences the entire family, enough for Ushio to faint and Makoto silently slipping a bug to spy the siblings.
* ShooOutTheClowns: [[spoiler:In episode 16, Cereza is expelled from Makoto's body and trapped within Aizentech's ventilation system. A freed Makoto Aizen on the other hand gives Saki a complete control over Aizentech as he departed from the city]].
* StarfishAliens: [[spoiler:Cereza's true form is a gaseous-like entity before possessing Makoto]].
* ToughLove: [[spoiler:At least Cereza considers his motive on Minato Brothers is good for them]].
* UncertainDoom: [[spoiler: Cereza's ultimate fate after being sucked into Aizentech's ventilation system is unclear. Did he die, or is he just stuck in there?]]
* TheUnfettered: He orchestrates monster attacks and keeps targeting the Minato brothers just to get the power of Ultraman Orb and to prove that he himself can become a better Ultraman than any of the brothers combined. However, he failed to understand that as heroes, Ultras are TheFettered far and wide.
* VillainWithGoodPublicity: As the current president of Aizentech and the one responsible for the development of Ayaka City, nobody will suspect him for anything related to the monster attacks.
* WalkingSpoiler: [[spoiler:The fact that Makoto was possessed by an alien entity for many years is difficult to discuss without spoiling it first.]]
* WalkingTheEarth: [[spoiler:As Cereza is expelled from his body,]] Makoto decided to go travelling around the world with his bicycle.
* WaxingLyrical: In episode 8, when several abducted humans had their energies transferred to repair the Orb Origin Crystal, Makoto quotes the first lyric of ''Series/UltramanGaia''[='=]s opening theme.
* TheWonka: A villainous example. As most of Aizen's antics and eccentricity were mostly due to him being possessed by Cereza, who nevertheless runs Aizentech like a decent businessman.
* WreckedWeapon: His Gyro broke in episode 14 after sending Gubila. The rest of the episode then shows Saki lending him her Gyro and Grigio King's crystal.

[[caption-width-right:350:D.R.L.N.'s drone body]]

An artificial intelligence that supports both Aizentech and Makoto. She is most frequently seen in the body of a drone flying around Makoto.
----
* FunWithAcronyms: DRLN is meant to be pronounced as "Darling".
* TheIgor: Supports Makoto ([[spoiler:Cereza]]) in his grand schemes against the Ultramen.
* MookCarryover: [[spoiler:After Cereza was expelled from Makoto's body and the real Makoto went WalkingTheEarth, D.R.L.N. becomes Saki's follower instead. And once Mio returns and takes command of Aizentech in the finale, she follows Mio.]]
* RobotBuddy: In her drone body, she is essentially one to Makoto, carrying out the dirty work like collecting R/B Crystals and suggesting ideas for quotes.

!! Saki Mitsurugi [[spoiler:(Grigio)]]
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rb_201807_02_fixw_640_hq.jpg]]
!!! Portrayed by: Ayane Kinoshita

A mysterious girl who joins the main cast during the battle against Horoboros, using the wolf-like kaiju against the Minato brothers and Makoto. Posing as Makoto's nurse and befriending Asahi, she continues Makoto's schemes of summoning monsters with her very own Gyro to defeat Ultraman Rosso and Blu while also secretly plotting against the president of Aizentech as part of her own enigmatic agenda.
----
* AloofDarkHairedGirl: At this point, this is pretty much all we know about her identity.
* AmbiguouslyHuman: The fact that she lives for at least 100 ([[spoiler:actually 1,300]]) years is suspicious on the audiences. Asahi ask where her homeworld is and she replied as "above the sky" ([[spoiler:actually Planet Sanja]]).
* BarrierWarrior: Can shield both her and Asahi with a barrier used to block Dada's shrink ray without any ill effect.
* BigNo: When mourning for her brothers' deaths.
* BrokenBird: The deaths of her brothers ([[spoiler:original Ultraman Rosso and Blu]]) left a huge trauma on her. [[spoiler:But the prequel novel has only taken it up a notch, as she and her brothers bear the brunt of making a living as {{Bounty Hunter}}s at a young age, witnessing the [[WarIsHell horrors of war]], and even they themselves being used as expendable by their employers.]]
* ColorfulThemeNaming: [[spoiler:Her true name, Grigio, is Italian for gray]].
* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter:
** To [[Series/UltramanGeed Laiha Toba]] as they were both victims of a tragic event that caused the deaths of their respective families--Laiha's parents were killed right before her very eyes during a kaiju rampage orchestrated by Kei Fukuide in an attempt to extract her Little Star but failed, Saki along with her brothers were sent to stop Reugosite and the deaths of her brothers drove her to a path of revenge. Laiha is one of the good guys through and through willing to help Riku defy his fate of becoming a second Belial, while Saki is more willing to [[WellIntentionedExtremist endanger the planet Earth so long as Reugosite is dealt with]], and in spite of all that, died as a redeemed person while entrusting her last wish to the Minato siblings to defeat Reugosite.
** Also to [[Series/UltramanOrb Jugglus Juggler]] as both of them are antagonists with ulterior motives who can transform into their kaiju forms and were once have a connection to the O-50 Ultras of their respective shows. While Juggler served as the comrade, rival, and nemesis to Gai Kurenai, Saki is the younger sister of the original Rosso and Blu and occasionally, a friend of Asahi Minato.
* {{Cosplay}}: Her casual dress is one on the right, but wears different attires when meeting other people. For example, she wears a nurse outfit when meeting Makoto and disguises as a schoolgirl when meeting Asahi.
* CynicismCatalyst: Her brothers' deaths is what turned her into this. [[spoiler:In the prequel novel, she was revealed to be kind enough to doubt the principle of killing to survive but grows cynical after an experience of killing her friend, Bianca]].
* DarkActionGirl: She is a sinsister and deadly fighter who ruthlessly attacks her foes.
* DarkIsEvil: She is an even more obvious case in contrast to Makoto. [[spoiler:Subverted that she is more of a WellIntentionedExtremist who wants to kill a monster with Earth's destruction as its price]].
* EvenTheGirlsWantHer: Saki's beautiful appearance is rather a magnet for Asahi's friends in episode 17.
* EvilerThanThou: Compared to Makoto, who's just an Ultraman fanboy, Saki has an even more sinister plan in mind.
* EvilSoundsDeep: Her Gyro had a darker and deeper activation noise.
* FallenHero: [[spoiler:Was once a part of a trio of siblings who were sent from O-50 to stop Reugosite from destroying the Earth. Her brothers' deaths turned her into a WellIntentionedExtremist who's bent on destroying Earth along with the monster, sacrificing the many people on the planet to save ''even more people.'']]
* FauxAffablyEvil: Her calm and collected demeanor is only surface level. She displays her ruthless side even more in episode 15
* ImDyingPleaseTakeMyMacGuffin: [[spoiler: After Saki sacrifices herself against Reugosite in episode 24, Asahi found Saki dying. Saki told Asahi her real name, Grigio, and that she was happy to have met them, giving Asahi her Gyro before she passed away.]]
* InSeriesNickname: She is affectionately called "Tsuru-chan" by Asahi.
* KlingonPromotion: [[spoiler:Becomes Aizentech's new CEO after overthrowing Cereza]].
* KnightOfCerebus: She is the most serious of all characters and her appearance in episode 11 helps bring the entire plot to a WhamEpisode.
* MyGreatestSecondChance: Her biggest regret was not being able to save her brothers when they shielded her from Reugosite. 1,300 years later, she found herself in the same situation when the new Rosso and Blu protected her, [[spoiler:and seeing her brothers' image within them, it's her turn to make the sacrifice instead, effectively sparing Asahi from falling into the same state as Saki did]].
* MythologyGag: To the alien girl Saki from ''Series/UltramanTiga'', who also wears black casual dress and has been on Earth for a very long time.
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: In both ways:
** She gave Asahi the Ultraman and Belial Crystals, knowing full well that the Minato brothers couldn’t use them and certain that all their efforts would prove hopeless against Grigio King. [[spoiler:Unfortunately for her, she underestimated the power of their sibling bond, which ultimately resulted in the fusion of Ultraman Ruebe]].
** Another to the main villain, Reugosite. Mio Minato had kept the monster in its R/B Crystal and was about to send it to an alternate dimension but Saki's own {{Revenge}} and her insistence on killing Reugosite on her own times give the monster time to escape.
* NoNameGiven: Is credited as "Mysterious Girl" in the opening for 3 episodes. She reveals it in episode 14.
* PetTheDog: Saves Asahi from Dada's shrink ray when the latter went berserk.
* Really700YearsOld: Claims herself to have been friends with the likes of Creator/OscarWilde, Creator/WilliamShakespeare, UsefulNotes/TokugawaIeyasu, and Creator/NiccoloMachiavelli. She had been on Earth since the day the Ayaka Star hit the Earth (1,300 years prior).
* RedemptionEqualsDeath: [[spoiler:She was about to be killed by Reugosite, until Katsumi and Isami protected her as Rosso and Blu. Before the Ultras could be killed, Saki saw the image of her brothers within them and ended up TakingTheBullet to save them]].
* RevengeBeforeReason: The death of her brothers broke her heart to the point that [[spoiler:she gave up on protecting the Earth and decided to blow it up in order to kill Reugosite as a means of avenging their deaths]].
* SpannerInTheWorks: Her very presence foiled [[spoiler:Cereza]]'s dream to become an Ultraman, a plan which he had been working towards for at least 15 years.
* StealthHiBye: Can do this with ease. Case in point: when she walked away from Asahi without her noticing [[spoiler:after giving her the Ultraman and Belial Crystals]].
* TheStoic: She’s lacked any real sense of humor since her debut. A rare exception is when she gets merry during the HalloweenEpisode.
* SuperPrototype: Her Gyro is superior to the ones belonging to the Minato brothers or Aizen, demonstrating the capability of upgrading any summoned crystal. For added bonus, in episode 14, she declared it to be the '''original''' Gyro before lending it to Makoto.
* TykeBomb: She and her brothers are raised as this, due to being born on a [[CrapsackWorld war-torn Planet Sanja]] and losing their parents at a young age. They become a part of orphans raised by Bakubarba to be hired thieves and assassins as their source of income.
* WalkingSpoiler: [[spoiler:TheReveal about her past connections to the previous Rosso and Blu is served as a big twist within the story.]]
* WellIntentionedExtremist: [[spoiler:Using Aizentech, she wants to destroy the monster that came to Earth every 1,300 years with a massive explosion, taking it down at the cost of Earth being destroyed.]]

!! Grigio Bone
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/grugeo_bone.png]]

-->'''First Appearance:''' Starting out as Ultraman
A fiery skeleton monster known in the folklore of Ayaka City as having crashed on Earth 1300 years ago in the Ayaka Star meteor, battling Ultraman Rosso and Blu. It was reawaken in the present by mysterious forces, leading to the Minato brothers' first battle as Ultramen. Later on, Makoto used its R/B Crystal in order to directly transform into the kaiju in a scheme to torment the brothers when Isami was having a HeroicBSOD.
----
* AncientEvil: Grigio Bone came from the sky and attacked the residents of Ayaka City 13 centuries ago. [[spoiler: Or so it seems. Turns out it was a form Saki had taken to assist the original hosts of Rosso and Blu against Reugosite.]]
* BilingualBonus: Like Ultraman Rosso and Blu, Grigio Bone's name contains an Italian word for a colour in it. In this case, "grigio" means "gray".
* BreathWeapon: A powerful stream of fire, officially referred to as the Bone Breather.
* CameFromTheSky: Crashed on Earth while battling Rosso and Blu in the meteor that gave Ayaka City its name.
* DemBones: As its name gives away, Grigio Bone is meant to be a skeletal kaiju.
* {{Homage}}: It's designed with the image of a more "cool-looking" [[Series/{{Ultraman}} Seabozu]] in mind.
* PlayingWithFire: As described in BreathWeapon above, but additionally, his BossSubtitles are "Flame Bone Beast".
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Referred to in some publications as '''Grugeo''' Bone.
* StarterVillain: The very first kaiju that Katsumi and Isami battle as Rosso and Blu, proving to be appropriately powerful enough for a series with two title Ultras.
* StarterVillainStays: Returns with a vengeance as Grigio King, and again as the even stronger Grigio Regina.
* SuperDickery: [[spoiler:Grigio Bone was never the one who terrorized Ayaka as seen in episode 1's flashback. It was Saki (as the monster) mourning for her brothers’ (Rosso and Blu) deaths]].
* SuperSpeed: Briefly displayed this ability when charging at Rosso and Blu.
* TailSlap: Uses his tail to good effect against the Ultraman brothers.

!! Black King

-->'''First Appearance:''' The Bond of Siblings

* AdaptationalWimp: In her debut she was one of X's most fearsome enemies, but here, she mainly serves as target practice for the debut of R/B Sluggers.

!! Red King

-->'''First Appearance:''' The Winning Ball of Light
Another monster summoned by Makoto Aizen, this time at Mt. Muho, where in its first battle with Ultraman Rosso and Blu, it managed to injure Rosso's (and consequently Katsumi's) shoulder.
----
See Characters/UltramanTVSeries

* BulletCatch: Did this with Rosso's weaker attacks.
* TookALevelInBadass: Red King has always been a tough monster, but director Kiyotaka Taguchi describes this one as the most vicious yet. ''It shows.'' His AchillesHeel has been removed, he behaves less comically, he no longer suffers from TheWorfEffect when battling the Ultras, and he actually displays a certain amount of intelligence like targeting Rosso's shoulder injury in their second fight.

!! Gue-Basser
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1_1_1.jpg]]

-->'''First Appearance:''' Farewell, Icarus
An updated version of Maga-Basser, ''Series/UltramanOrb'''s King Demon Beast of Wind. It was summoned by Makoto to locate the R/B Wind Crystal before the Minato Brothers could, as well as terrorize Ayaka City, with its weather-manipulating powers.
----
See Characters/UltramanOrb

* AnimalMotifs: WordOfGod is that the monster's new color scheme is modeled after a Japanese crested ibis.
* ArtEvolution: The sole differences between Maga-Basser and Gue-Basser is the latter is white instead of blue and lacks the Maga-Crystal on its head.
* FeatherFlechettes: Able to fire the feathers from its wings as projectiles; not that it could hurt the Ultras though.
* LightIsNotGood: White-colored giant bird that causes mayhem and disaster.
* MythologyGag: Two that is; first, the major factor in Gue-Basser's defeat stems from the influence of Ultraman Tiga's power and their fight scene against an opponent with said Ultra's power had a scene [[TheOner which took a long take]] while at the same time viewed from the perspective of their opponent. All this parallels the original Maga-Basser.
* PokemonSpeak: Peppers its wailing cries with the occasional "Gue!"

!! Mecha-Gomora

-->'''First Appearance:''' Longtime Enemy! The Finisher Fist of Elder Sister!
Makoto's next summoned kaiju, this time to pur the Minato Brothers' heroism to the test by having the robotic doppelganger of Gomora capture Kaoru Komaki, an eccentric old friend of the Minato family from the brothers' childhood days.
----

* IHaveYourWife: Makoto puts an old friend of the Minato family into Mecha-Gomora's head in hopes of making the fight more interesting. Fortunately before Blu can actually kill her, Rosso in Wind form managed to shield her unconscious body with a ball of air.
* NoSell: Its thick armor proves to be this for the Ultramen to attack until Blu used Seven's power to destroy it.
* SmokeOut: In its first battle, when Aizen calls it to retreat, Mecha Gomora just lift its hands and disappeared into a puff of smoke as D.R.L.N. salvaged its crystal.

!! Aribunta

-->'''First Appearance:''' The World is Waiting for Me
A Choju summoned by Makoto to lure out Ultraman Rosso and Blu by creating a huge sand pit in the middle of Ayaka City. The brothers easily defeated the ant-like monster though, forcing Makoto to resort to a far more dangerous power: transforming into Ultraman Orb Dark (Noir Black Schwarz).

[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/horoborus.png]]

-->'''First Appearance:''' The Minato Family Holiday
A mammalian kaiju summoned after Ultraman Orb Dark's first defeat. This powerful beast was sent out by Makoto to attack the Minato brothers when they were trying to enjoy a day off. Though it proved to be among Ultraman Rosso and Blu's strongest foes yet, Makoto planned to use the monster to take credit for cleaning up his own mess. But then the mysterious Saki Mitsurugi made her debut and took control of the lupine beast against all three Ultras. The monster appears one last time when Saki transforms into it with its R/B Crystal to battle the Minato brothers again, and later Kamisori Demaaga.
----
* AnimalMotifs: Combines the theme of a lion and a wolf.
** PantheraAwesome: Due to the lion features, notably the white mane and the long tail.
** SavageWolves: Has a wolf-like face and howl, and proves to be one of Rosso and Blu's most powerful opponents up to this point in the series.
** CaptainErsatz: bluish body, White fur, yellow plating. Then it hits Dark Orb with a massive electric attack and you realize you’re looking at the Ultra-verse version of a [[VideoGame/MonsterHunter Zinogre]].
* BadassNormal: Despite having no flashy beam attacks or unique powers, this guy was no slouch in battle and [[spoiler:becomes the first kaiju in the show to defeat Rosso and Blu!]]
* EngineeredHeroics: Is part of this plot by Makoto for Orb Dark to interfere with Rosso and Blu's fight and finish it off himself.
* FourLegsGoodTwoLegsBetter: Once summoned by Saki, this thing can stand up pretty well. Needless to say, even ''Orb Dark'' is terrified of it.
* TheJuggernaut: Endured repeated direct hits from almost all of Rosso and Blu's {{Finishing Move}}s, but still kept pummeling them like it was nothing. And then in one scene, Horoboros actually ''swats away'' an attempt to use a Zedcium Ray on it.
* LightIsNotGood: A feral predatory beast with white fur.
* MookCarryover: First under Makoto's ownership as part of his EngineeredHeroics, then falls under Saki’s influence to fight all three Ultras.
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: Its name combines the Japanese word for "destruction" (''Horobosu'') and {{Ouroboros}}.
* OurWerewolvesAreDifferent: Once it became bipedal, Horoboros' werewolf theme becomes clear. In fact, its first action is to release a loud howl.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Once it begins to stand in two legs after Saki gains control of it.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Also spelled "Horobor'''u'''s"
* SpringJump: Able to leap to incredible heights, even knocking Blu out of the sky with a single pounce.
* SuperSpeed: Demonstrates this ability in its final appearance.
* SuperStrength: Strong enough to manhandle Rosso and Blu at once. And when Rosso attempts to use the Earth Crystal's Earth Coating, Horoboros ''breaks out of the stone casing''.
* TailSlap: Its signature attack, the Megante Crusher, does this. Horoboros does its SpringJump and then spins 360 degrees, slamming its target with its tail with enough force to send an airborne Ultra crashing into the earth.
* WolverineClaws: Gains these in bipedal form. They can fire slashes of energy and channel electricity.

!! Bezelb

-->'''First Appearance:''' Aizen's Frenzy
One of a race of insectoid monsters that originally appeared in ''Series/UltramanOrbTheOriginSaga'' as servants of that series' BigBad. Here, Makoto summons a Bezelb to attack Ayaka City so he can become Orb Dark and defeat it. Unfortunately for him, the Minato Brothers end up beating him to the punch.
----
See Characters/UltramanOrb

* AdaptationalWimp: A single blast from a Bezelb can revert any Ultraman back to their host [[GlassCannon despite being easily defeated]]. However, this version just fires attacks that don’t even scratch Rosso when performing an aerial assault.
* EngineeredHeroics: Another part of Makoto's scheme for Orb Dark to become more popular, right after Horoboros.
* {{Irony}}: The Bezelb are in fact the original Orb's first kill and their Queen even infected him with a mind-controlling poison. Here, an EvilKnockoff of Ultraman Orb summoned a Bezelb and controlled it for a staged fight.
* OffhandBackhand: Is the subject of two from Rosso and Blu.

!! Gubila

-->'''First Appearance:''' No More Secrets!
Another monster summoned by Makoto to battle the Minato Brothers. However, this narwhal-like kaiju proved to be the very last monster summoned by Aizentech's president, as his Gyro malfunctioned and broke after summoning it.
----
See Characters/UltramanTVSeries

* AdaptationalVillainy: The original and ''Orb''[='=]s Gubila are [[NonMaliciousMonster animalistic]], the ones from ''Saga'' and ''X'' are BrainwashedAndCrazy, and ''Geed'''s got to enjoy AdaptationalHeroism. This one is directly summoned by Makoto, but...
* FightingClown: Really, it only sprays water from its snout to create rainbow and catches Rosso's fireball to create a firework. It doesn't even get the chance to ''actually'' fight the Ultramen.
* IncredibleShrinkingMan: When Makoto's Gyro broke, Gubila shrunk into the size of an Ultra's palm.
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: Even when shrunken into an Ultra-palm sized, it can still attack Rosso with its drill.
* SmokeOut: It finally reverted to its Crystal form after the Gyro completely malfunctioned.

!! Grigio King
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1_08.jpg]]

-->'''First Appearance:''' Who Are You?
An evolved version of Grigio Bone, which Makoto assumed by borrowing Saki's Gyro and using an R/B Crystal the strange girl lent him. As Makoto's tool to try and finish off the Minato Brothers once and for all, it proved to be virtually unstoppable for Ultraman Rosso and Blu, but Saki, however, had bigger plans for Makoto's usage of the monster...
----
* BackpackCannon: The Grigio Barrel on its back is no slouch at this.
* BreathWeapon: Retains Grigio Bone's signature Bone Breather but it is four times deadlier than the original.
* EliteMook: Is the evolved version of Grigio Bone, and certainly far more powerful than Grigio Bone ever was.
* {{Expy}}: Of [[Series/UltramanX Tsurugi Demaaga]], being that both monsters evolved and gains weapons on their body parts. Whereas Demaaga can be reverted by removing those blades, Grigio Bone received a body recoloring instead of just placing the Grigio Barrel on its back.
* GoldColoredSuperiority: To show that it's more powerful than Grigio Bone, Grigio King is mainly coloured gold instead of red.
* {{Irony}}: Grigio King overcomes the attack of Triple Origium Ray, which contains support from a gigantic Ultraman Orb, the very same Ultra that Makoto (Cereza) idolized.
* TheJuggernaut: Probably even more than Horoboros. This brute has a metallic hide and is one of the toughest monsters by the first episode of the series' second half. Even attempting to destroy its Grigio Barrel proved futile! [[spoiler:It takes Rosso and Blue going through a FusionDance to become Ultraman Ruebe in order to defeat this mighty beast once and for all.]]
* KnightOfCerebus: Grigio Bone in its appearances were meant to have lots of comedic moments in its fight. The closest one we can see here is Grigio King slapping Blu before everything went back to dramatic.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Has noticeable tiny but glowing red eyes.
* ShockAndAwe: Its talons can unleash electric shocks to the target by slamming them with it.
* WaveMotionGun: The firepower launched from the Grigio Barrel is strong enough to overpower Rosso and Blu's Triple Origium Ray.
* TheWorfEffect: Is subjected to this by the debut of Ultraman Ruebe, who calmly walks through its Bone Breather and blocks it with a small force field before clamping the monsters jaws shut with one hand and then knocking it to the ground.

!! Neronga

-->'''First Appearance:''' This Moment Is A Bond
A monster that Saki summons to redirect the electrical supplies of Ayaka City towards Aizentech as part of her mysterious scheme to take control of Makoto's company [[spoiler:(after having expelled Cereza from the human's body and usurped his position as president)]] and repurpose it for her own agenda.
----

* FatBastard: This series establishes that while not actually heavy, its body mass was enough to crush both of them before returning to Saki.
* HalfTheManHeUsedToBe: [[spoiler:Is the victim of Ruebe's Ruebe Kourin Shot]].
* InASingleBound: Can jump very high and drops on the siblings.
* TookALevelInBadass: Justified by being summoned from Saki's Gyro, Neronga has become a formidable opponent by using invisibility to sneak attack and leap into both Ultramen at once. He also gains several new abilities, such as charging his body with electricity and being able to summon orbs of lightning to direct at targets.

* GoMadFromTheRevelation: He doesn't take it well that the Minato brothers are Ultramen and went on a rampaging spree.
* HammerSpace: Whips out a shrink ray out of nowhere. The Ultras even lampshades how he was able to pull this.
* MadeOfIron: His shrink ray can resist even the strongest of R/B's attacks, the Ruebe Vortex Buster.

* TheBusCameBack: Booska gets another guest appearance in the Ultra Series after 17 years since ''Series/UltramanDyna'' DVD special.
* MythologyGag: In the opening of episode 18, Isami wonders if Booska is some sort of an iguana. In his title show, Booska was a pet iguana to a boy who transformed it into his current state as a result of the latter's experimentation.
* ShrinkRay: Shrunk Dada with his own crown.
* TruceZone: He is well aware of the long-standing enmity between Kaiju and Ultras, so he called a truce by apologizing for the trouble Dada caused and invited the Minato siblings (even with Saki) to their party.

* ShockAndAwe: A new ability to this Grand King, it launches bolts of lightning from its horns.

!! Kamisori Demaaga
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kamisori_demaaga.png]]

-->'''First Appearance:''' Extradimensional Mother
A more powerful version of [[Series/UltramanX Demaaga]] that escaped from another dimension. It interfered with Saki's plans to destroy Reugosite along with Earth by feeding of the Ley Energy of Earth that Saki intended to harness the power of.
----
See Characters/UltramanX

* AudibleSharpness: Whenever this Demaaga appears, expect a slashing noise from its blades.
* BilingualBonus: Kamisori means "Razor" in Japanese.
* BladeBelowTheShoulder: Possesses these, much like Tsurugi Demaaga.
* ShockAndAwe: Shown to be able to channel electricity through its tail when Saki as Horoboros attempts to grab it there.
* SwordBeam: The Cutter Ray fired from its arm and back blades. They can be combined to form a giant, extra-powerful X-shaped attack.
* TronLines: Has these on its body and the blades on its back, much like a Cyber Kaiju.
* TheWorfEffect: It completely pummels Horoboros, the very monster that had previously given the combined strength of Ultraman Rosso, Blu, and Orb Dark a difficult time.
** WorfHadTheFlu: However, Saki had been severely weakened from her earlier battle with Rosso and Blu. She barely had enough fight in her to fight as Horoboros.

!! Grigio Regina
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/grigio_regina.jpg]]

-->'''First Appearance:''' The Crystal of Destruction
A second evolved form of Grigio Bone. Saki transformed into this powerful monster in order to complete her master plan of detonating Earth to destroy Reugosite once and for all, battling both the Minato brothers and the planet-devouring entity.
----
* BreathWeapon: Stated by WordOfGod to possess the Bone Breather attack of the previous Grigio kaiju, but never seen using it in the series.
* ChestBlaster: Has a cannon mounted on its chest able to fire a barrage of energy missiles.
* EliteMook: One even more powerful than Grigio King.
* TheJuggernaut: Most excellently demonstrated when it survives a direct hit from Ultraman Ruebe's Ruebe Vortex Buster and the ensuing giant explosion.
* MeaningfulName: Regina is Italian for "queen", continuing the royal theme of Grigio King and the series' usage of Italian words to name characters.
* ShockAndAwe: Like Grigio King, it can channel electricity through its horn and claws.
* ShoulderCannon: Possesses two cannons on its shoulders identical to its ChestBlaster.
* TakingTheBullet: [[spoiler:Receives the attack from Reugosite to save Rosso and Blu]].
* WaveMotionGun: Grigio Regina can combine the firepower of its {{Shoulder Cannon}}s and ChestBlaster to fire off the Erga-Trio Cannon, a laser so powerful it shattered the Ruebe Kourin's barrier and defeated Ultraman Ruebe in a single hit.
* TheWorfEffect: Demonstrates this by defeating Ultraman Ruebe and enduring his most powerful attacks, but is then on the receiving end when Saki tries to face Reugosite.

!! Reugosite
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/reugosite_profile.png]]

-->'''First Appearance:''' Memory of Stardust (cloud form), The Crystal of Destruction (physical form)
The final villain of the series, Reugosite is a planet-devouring entity that came for Earth 1,300 years ago, but was driven off by Ultraman Rosso and Blu not long before the two Ultras were scattered into the form of R/B crystals. In the present, the creature has made its way back to Earth to try again, with Saki determined to totally destroy it by any means necessary - even if she has to sacrifice the entire planet to succeed.
----
* BarrierWarrior: Can erect a spiral barrier to protect itself from enemy attacks.
* BigBad: The ultimate villain of the series, and [[spoiler:the one that kickstarted the entire plot when it defeated Saki's brothers, the original Rosso and Blu, 1300 years ago.]]
* BreathWeapon: Can fire a laser from its mouth.
* ChestBlaster: Can fire a super-powerful chargeable laser from its chest called the Genesis Requiem.
* CombatTentacles: Can sprout these from its wrists as it wishes.
* EldritchAbomination: A wholly malevolent and utterly massive cloud-like entity that consumes entire planets. Its physical form isn't much better, which was forced upon the use of three R/B Gyros. [[spoiler: Its nature as a malignant and mutated cosmic white blood cell makes it even more eldritch in nature.]]
* HandBlast: The ''Ultraman Fusion Fight!'' video game depicts it as being able to fire lasers from its hands, but it never demonstrates this ability in the show.
* TheJuggernaut: In physical form, not even a push from Grigio Regina can topple it.
* MeaningfulName: Reugosite is named after the leukocyte, or white blood cell in layman's terms. [[spoiler: See ReforgedIntoAMinion below for more information.]]
* MythologyGag: Its main mission is to eradicate Earth after deeming it as a threat is basically the same goal as [[Series/UltramanGaia the Radical Destruction Bringer]].
* OneWingedAngel: Reugosite normally appears as a giant gaseous mass large enough to consume a planet, but it assumes a monstrous physical form when Mio manages to imprison it in an R/B crystal only for the entity to escape.
* OurDragonsAreDifferent: Reugosite's actual form is a sentient gas-cloud to better fit its status as a PlanetEater. Its monster form, which recognized by its R/B Crystal as the element for "Dragon" is a forced form for imprisonment before it escaped but is still a formidable opponent nonetheless.
* PlanetEater: Its BossSubtitles even label it as the "Cosmo Eater".
* ReforgedIntoAMinion: [[spoiler:According to the ''[[AllThereInTheManual Ultraman R/B Super Complete Works]]'', Reugosite was originally a part of the "space white blood" that removes any potential threats from the universe. This cosmic white blood cell was then corrupted and mutated by Ultraman Tregear, becoming the planet eater Reugosite, who proceed to consume planets that not even being a threat]].
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Sometimes called Leugocyte to more closely match its name's basis.
* SpikeShooter: Its Reugo-Ballistic attack allows it to fire the spikes from its tail en masse as laser missiles.
* WaveMotionGun: The Genesis Requiem fired from its chest, [[spoiler:which it uses to kill Saki.]]

!! Mecha-Gomora (Custom Heavy)

A robotic kaiju seen terrorizing the planet of Hostar 21 and its Pigmon inhabitants. To test Katsumi's identity and desires, Ultraman Tregear transported him to that planet to battle the kaiju and rescue the Pigmons, but what Katsumi did not know was that this was part of a greater scheme intended to have him battle Snake Darkness and then trap him on the planet while Snake Darkness fought his brother on Earth.

* MookCarryover: This Mecha-Gomora serves Ultraman Tregear, unlike his previous incarnations, for reasons unknown.
* RedHerring: His purpose in the show is to serve as a distraction into luring Ultraman Rosso away from Earth, only to have him stuck on another planet at the battle's conclusion.

!! Pigmon

The inhabitants of the planet Hostar 21, which were being terrorized by a Mecha-Gomora. As part of a scheme to manipulate and isolate Katsumi, Ultraman Tregear goaded him into rescuing the little creatures from the robot monster, consequently allowing Rosso to be defeated by Snake Darkness and then stranded on the planet with little hope of returning home.

!!! Portrayed by: Yukito Nishii (Yukio Toi)

A monster made up by Yukio Toi, a former colleague of Katsumi who became a bitter shut-in after failing to achieve his dreams as a video game developer. As one of his numerous false promises, Ultraman Tregear transformed Yukio into his very own creation in order to help him lash out at the world for his failures when in reality, the evil Ultra planned to use Snake Darkness for his own ends.
----
* ArtInitiatesLife: Or rather, art materialized from a human host.
* BewareMyStingerTail: Its tail ends in a powerful pincer named the Darkness Eater.
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: Aside from being transformed from a human, Snake Darkness unwillingly served Tregear in his conquest.
* BreathWeapon: Breathes a heat beam called the Tragedy Shout, which later gets a power upgrade from Tregear.
* {{Chuunibyou}}: Yukio appears to be stuck in this phase, judging by the various edgy-sounding names he gives Snake Darkness' weapons and attacks. Tregear even namedrops the trope upon hearing him name his kaiju.
* TheDragon: To Ultraman Tregear.
* EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas: [[spoiler: Ultimately, what made Toi, now BrainwashedAndCrazy and becoming the soul Snake Darkness, to eventually snap out of it, is the timely arrival of his mother desperately looking for him in the chaos, and then begging him to stop when she realized her son is the monster]].
* FunWithPalindromes: Snake Darkness' name in kanji, "スネークダークネス", is a palindrome.
* GiantFlyer: Can fly with a pair of wings on its back.
* LightIsNotGood: With the exception of its name, Snake Darkness' skin is all white but is in no way a benevolent being at all.
* MythologyGag: Snake Darkness' origin being an artwork made by a failed video game developer brought to life by a sinister extraterrestrial force calls to mind the Garan incident from ''Series/UltramanAce'', where a failed manga artist sells his soul to Yapool to bring his artwork, Garan to life.
* NonIndicativeName: It's called Snake Darkness, but has no attribute of a serpent aside from the pincer on its tail resembling a snake's jaws, and its mostly white body means it isn't really dark either. Yukio designed Snake Darkness just to give the vibes of a "serpent who sneaks in the dark".
* PlayingWithFire: Able to spam fireballs from the holes on its shoulders, in an attack known as Great Execution.
* RightHandOfDoom: Its right hand is the Shadow Scissors, a spiked club with massive hooked claws on the end.
* ShoutOut: Its grey skin and texture, as well as transformed from a human with negative emotions is not unlike [[Anime/SSSSGridman Zegga]].
* VillainTeamUp: The final battle has Snake Darkness and Ultraman Tregear together battling Ultraman Rosso and Blu.
* WasOnceAMan: It was Yukio Toi, Katsumi's colleague who became bitter and reclusive after he failed to achieve his dream of becoming a game developer.
* WhiteAndRedAndEerieAllOver: Its body is mostly white with red accents, giving it a visceral look befitting a kaiju Tregear created by manipulating a resentful human.
