----
* AudienceSurrogate: She is a normal human girl who suddenly discovers there are several non-human worlds and non-humans who visit the human world regularly. The regulars often provide exposition to her about themselves and their worlds.
* BeastAndBeauty: Kotone has shades of this with Misyr and Ignis, a demon and a firewolf respectively.
* BewareTheNiceOnes:
** Kotone is usually friendly and kind-hearted but in one instance when Mikado became distracted with the regulars after casually mentioning that Rindo was in danger, Kotone calmly and sweetly twisted his head to face her and repeated her question as to what happened to Rindo.
** In Ignis's route, she slapped [[spoiler: Dromi]] for all the pain the latter caused Ignis.
* BroodingBoyGentleGirl: Kotone is the gentle girl with the brooding Rindo who is revealed in his route to have a lot of angst about [[spoiler: his younger sister]] and later on, when [[spoiler: he becomes non-human to save his life]].
* CatchAFallingStar: Canus catches Kotone after some fairies push her off a cliff.
* ConverseWithTheUnconscious: In [[spoiler: Ignis]]'s Bad Ending, Kotone continues to visit [[spoiler: the sleeping Ignis in his Vanar form who has been buried under ice]] and reassures that she will continue to see them until the latter wakes up.
* CoolBigSis: Kotone acts like an older sister figure towards Kariya.
* CooldownHug:
** This is how Kotone calms down [[spoiler: a rampaging Ignis in his Vanar form]] in his route.
** She also bring [[spoiler: Il out of his original programming]] by embracing him.
* CowardlyLion: Kotone often thinks of herself to be cowardly but despite being afraid, she doubles down and makes the best of certain situations.
* EveryonesBabySister: Kotone is the youngest and most vulnerable out of the regulars. Regardless of the route, all the regulars are protective over her and anyone threatening or hurting her is a sure way to get several powerful people pissed off.
* FeminineWomenCanCook: Played with. While in the beginning, Kotone admits her coffee-making and cooking skills weren't the best, with practice, she does become a good cook, good enough that [[BigEater Ignis]] always cleans up all the dishes she serves him.
* FishOutOfWater: Kotone is suddenly thrown into a world where non-humans exist among humans and even travelled to some of the other worlds where she is completely out of her element.
* ForgottenFirstMeeting: Kotone had met some of the regulars back many years ago when she had stayed with her grandfather but due to being a young child, she had forgotten that she had met them.
* HelloInsertNameHere: While Kotone is her canon name, the player can change it at the start of the game.
* HoldingHands: In Rindo's route, she frequently holds hands with him especially after [[spoiler: he becomes a non-human]] to reassure him that she still loves him for him.
* InsecureLoveInterest: Downplayed in Rindo's route where Kotone feels that Rindo is mature and much more adult compared to her and wonders if he sees her more as a child or little sister instead of a partner.
* InSeriesNickname: Since Kotone's name is customizable, other characters often refer to her as "master/owner".
* LivingMacGuffin: Kotone becomes a target in some routes due to her influence on the love interest.
** In Ignis's route, she is kidnapped by [[spoiler: Dromi]] because [[spoiler: Ignis/Vanar has developed a taste for human flesh and Dromi wants to use her to get Ignis to eat her and awaken as Vanar.]]
** In Canus's route, [[spoiler: Vennia]] deliberately brings her to Medio to [[spoiler: switch her with Titania as the World Tree bride]], knowing it would force Canus's hand and get him (and by extension the other regulars) to [[spoiler: kill the Yggdrasil.]]
* MouthtoMouthForceFeeding: In [[spoiler: Rindo]]'s route, being too sick and weak to take [[spoiler: the life-saving transformation medicine Mikado provided]], Kotone has to do this in order to get [[spoiler: Rindo]] to take it to save his life.
* NotSoDifferentRemark: Kotone tries to tell Kariya that humans and non-humans aren't as different as he thinks, as the coffee she is serving to him that moment is the same coffee enjoyed by her non-human guests.
* ObliviousToLove: In Ignis's route, Kotone simply did not get it when Dromi asked if she was Ignis's mate, even as Ignis was blushing and vehemently denying anything when Dromi started mentioning another Bestia female being interested in him. Kotone instead cheerfully asks Ignis to bring over his mate to Enchanté.
* RoseHairedSweetie: Kotone has pink-colored hair and is a friendly, kind-hearted girl.
* ShutUpKiss: She delivers one to Rindo when he is depressed and insecure after [[spoiler: becoming non-human]], believing Kotone deserves someone better.
* UnbrokenVigil: In Rindo's route, after [[spoiler: Rindo becomes cursed]], Kotone stays by his side the whole time.

One of Enchante's older residents, He is the current Demon Lord of Asmodia. Has a particular fondness to Kotone.
----
* AsskickingLeadsToLeadership: Misyr remains the demon king because he is the strongest in his world.
* BarelyChangedDubName: Japanese sources romanize his name as "Miser," while the localization by Aksys spells it as "Misyr."
* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: Misyr did wish to become human so he did not have to leave Kotone every night but [[spoiler: at the worst timing, Noah took away his powers and pushed him through the gate, leaving Kotone stuck in the World of End Times with Noah and Misyr helpless back in the human world.]]
* BecomingTheMask: [[spoiler: It's revealed that Misyr is not the demon king or a demon but was WasOnceAMan and was transformed into a different kind of non-human. For years among the café regulars, he enjoyed simply being another customer there while playing up the act of being the demon king.]]
* BerserkButton: Misyr usually maintains a cheerful and casual attitude even in the face of danger but there are a few things that truly pisses him off.
** In Il's route, [[spoiler: Solitus]] dehumanizing Il causes Misyr to look ready to murder [[spoiler: Solitus]].
** In his own route, when Asmodeus was about to forcefully take advantage of Kotone, Misyr [[DeathGlare glares]] at him and the entire world shook in response to his fury.
* BigBrotherInstinct: Despite being a demon and angel respectively, Misyr is protective over Il who can get in trouble when he leaves the café. In Il's route, Misyr levels a DeathGlare on [[spoiler: Solitus who caused Il to reset to his original, emotionless state, as well as refer to Il as a "puppet"]] and holds a particular grudge against [[spoiler: Solitus]] for doing that to Il.
* BlessedWithSuck:
** Misyr laments that as powerful as his magic is, it is only meant for destruction. He cannot help in situations where healing would be needed, such as when Il collapses in Bestia due to experiencing cold for the first time and when [[spoiler: Rindo suffers a hex and is dying due to it.]]
** In his route, [[spoiler: he used to be human but was painfully transformed into a WalkingWasteland as part of the ashen environment in the World of End Times, causing everything around him to turn to ash. As much as he wishes to stay with Kotone at night, he cannot as he returns to his true form after midnight.]]
* BodyHorror: The descriptions of [[spoiler: the human Misyr transforming into a non-human]] was not pretty.
* CannotSpitItOut: In his route, he struggles to tell Kotone the real reason why he has to return to the demon world every night at midnight and apologies to her for "lying". [[spoiler: He is not the demon king and is actually a different kind of non-human and must return to his real form back in his original home world.]]
* TheGlomp: This is how Kotone first meets Misyr who surprises her with an unexpected embrace once the gate to Enchanté is opened the first time in months.
* HorrifyingTheHorror: Misyr's powerful reputation alone manages to terrify [[spoiler: Solitus]] into retreating.
* HotAsHell: Misyr is a demon yet still very good-looking.
* HumanityEnsues: [[spoiler: Noah takes away Misyr's powers and returns him back to his original human.]]
* IAmAMonster: Misyr feels this way about [[spoiler: his real form.]] And when [[spoiler: he accidentally transforms back and causes destruction to the demon world and in front of Kotone]], he is ashamed and did not return to Enchanté for weeks.
* ItWasAGift: Misyr's most prized possession is an old teacup. [[spoiler: It was given to him by a young Kotone when she offered coffee to him. It's also noted that it is one of the very few objects to not be worn down into ash in the World of End Times for some reason, which is why Misyr treasures it so much.]]
* KnightTemplarBigBrother: PlayedForLaughs as Misyr is not related to Il or Kotone but more often than not, acts as a very protective older brother. He hesitated to allow Il to go outside the café on his own and disapproved of any hint of interest of Rindo towards Kotone.
* MagicMusic: During the attack against the giant Spartoi skeletal arm, Misyr's spell to counter it is described by Kotone to resembling and sounding like a piano playing.
* MustHaveCaffeine: Misyr says out of all the foods he has tried over his lifetime, he likes coffee the most. The narration often notes he is slipping coffee on the side. [[spoiler: It was because the first food he tasted in thousands of years was a cup of coffee made by a young Kotone.]]
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness:
** Misyr becomes uncharacteristically serious on Amasaki Island when dealing with the wormhole in the sky.
** In his route, [[spoiler: Misyr suffers a grievous injury while fighting Asmodeus and starts missing his attacks, realizing that he is losing control of his true form]], noticeably becoming more alarmed and panicking.
* PurpleIsPowerful: Misyr wears purple robes, as well as his hair being purple, which fits his status as being the king and most powerful being in the demon world.
* WalkingWasteland: [[spoiler: In Misyr's real monstrous form, everything and everyone around him becomes ash either by standing too close to him or when his powers are unleashed.]]
* WasOnceAMan: [[spoiler: Ten thousands of years ago, Misyr was a human looking for new worlds but his ship crashed on the World of End Times. The toxic atmosphere killed off everyone except Misyr whose body for some reason was agonizingly transformed into what it is now.]]
* WhenTheClockStrikesTwelve: Misyr has to return to the demon world at the stroke of midnight every night. [[spoiler: In reality, he has to return to his real form and to the World of End Times.]]
* WorfHadTheFlu: In his route, when [[spoiler: he starts losing control of his real form]], Misyr started losing the fight against Asmodeus, despite easily blowing him back in their first encounter. Later on, [[spoiler: after Noah takes away Misyr's powers]], Misyr is severely weakened being in [[spoiler: the World of End Times]] and is no match against [[spoiler: Noah]] who defeats him.
* WorldsStrongestMan: Misyr is the most powerful among the regulars and his power is well reported even among other non-human worlds. It is telling that even [[spoiler: Solitus]] did not want to initially fight Misyr and would rather tactically retreat.

The HeadlessHorseman (Dullahan) of the Fairy World, Medio. While the Medio's queen, Titania, like his presence, The same cannot be said for his fellow fairies, who tend to avoid him out of fear. He is often in Enchante watering flowers.
----
* {{BFS}}: Canus carries a huge sword that he uses with ease.
* BigBrotherMentor: He acts like one towards Ignis, the youngest among the non-humans.
* BornAsAnAdult: [[spoiler: In his route, its revealed that he came into the world already as an adult and with memories of his predecessor and knowledge that he had to kill many fairies in order to sate the Yggdrasil's hunger.]]
* BreakHisHeartToSaveHim: In his route, he acts coldly towards Kotone due to not wanting her to get involved with [[spoiler: the situation with Medio and the Yggdrasil]]. His inner narration later says how distraught and heartbroken he was for making her cry.
* BlackKnight: Canus is clad mostly in black but befitting his appearance as a knight, he is a gentle and kind person.
* CaringGardener: He is a kind-hearted man (despite his menacing appearance) and is revealed to be an excellent gardener for Enchanté. [[spoiler: This skill would come handy after Yggdrasil is destroyed and Medio is soon populated with flowers all over the land.]]
* ColourCodedEmotions: Canus's neck has light emitting from it and it changes color depending on his mood, which helps Kotone determine what emotion he is feeling, considering he does not have a face.
* DontFearTheReaper: Canus is revealed to be the Fairy of Death. He is a kind and gentle individual but his own fairy kind, who are essentially immortal, fear him as they don't understand the concept of death. [[spoiler: Nor do they understand why Canus must kill a certain number of them regularly to feed Yggdrasil.]]
* GentleGiant: Canus is easily the tallest and biggest of the Enchante regulars and also a kind-hearted man with a love of gardening.
* IKissYourHand: Due to the nature of Canus's lack of a head, he instead kisses Kotone's hand to show his affection.
* LadyAndKnight: Has this dynamic with Kotone.
* UnbrokenVigil: In his Bad Ending, [[spoiler: Canus frequently visits and stays with the unconscious Kotone who will never wake up after being fused with the Yggdrasil.]]

A fire-based Demon beast from Bestia. Often hailed as the strongest beast in the land. He enjoys eating meat.
----
* BigEater: Ignis enjoys scarfing down many plates at the cafe. His favorite dishes include meats.
* BullyingADragon: A lot of beasts actively try to provoke and fight him, despite him being regarded as the strongest beast in his home world.
* FieryRedhead: Ignis has red hair and the hot temper to match. A somewhat literal example, too, as he has fire wolf ears when in his normal form.
* FriendToAllLivingThings: Dogs are very fond of Ignis and they swamped him when he visits the park even if he tries to tell them to leave him alone.
* HeroicCaninesVillainousFelines: It might not seem like it at first, but at heart, Ignis, based on wolves, does not actually want to hurt, and especially not kill, other people. Meanwhile, [[spoiler: Dromi, who is based on tigers, wants to awaken Vanar through Ignis, despite that going against what Ignis wants, and that this would turn Ignis into a relentless mruderer. A major reason Dromi idolizes Vanar is because of his brutality.]]
* HeroicRROD: Ignis was told as a child, due to constantly fighting day after day, citizens from Bestia will eventually physically and mentally break down and revert into mindless feral beasts. He explains to Kotone prior to meeting Souen and Enchanté, he was dangerously veering into this stage but managed to pull through and keep his sanity after Souen offered him food. [[spoiler: It is revealed Ignis was actually lied to by his uncle. Beasts never lose their sanity when fighting but Ignis, as the reincarnation of the ravenous monster wolf, could when it comes to hunger and smelling blood.]]
* {{Irony}}: Ignis is a wolf but in his human form, he wears a shirt that has a cat on it.
* LastOfHisKind: By the end of his route, [[spoiler: Ignis is the last of the firewolves.]]
* MundaneUtility: The regulars have utilized Ignis's flames in his non-human form to warm themselves or dry their clothes, much to Ignis's annoyance.
* PlayingWithFire: Among his abilities include fire-related ones.
* {{Reincarnation}}: [[spoiler: His route reveals that he is the reincarnation of Vanar, a large firebeast that reeked havoc in Bestia]].
* TechnicalPacifist: While very strong and a fighter, he has a strict rule to not go as far as to kill anyone. [[spoiler: At least, for much of the game he believes he's never killed anyone. In his route, we learn that because of his predation instinct, he did in fact kill many beasts (both enemy and fellow vinitor) many years ago, but he had no memory of this event, and his close friends and family decided to not tell him about this.]]
* TheseHandsHaveKilled: [[spoiler: He is disgusted at himself upon realizing he had killed several monsters and his fellow firewolves as a child in a berserk state. Later on, he becomes catatonic when he kills and eats several Minotaurs and then, almost does the same to both Il and Kotone if the others hadn't arrived to stop him.]]
* ThouShaltNotKill: Despite his reputation as a BloodKnight, it is revealed that Ignis chooses not to kill anyone. [[spoiler: Ignis is horrified to find out that as a child, he killed and ''ate'' the beasts who invaded his home, along with several of his own tribe, including his own friends.]]
* {{Tsundere}}: Ignis is a classic type; blunt, brutally honest and short-tempered, yet hides a soft side.
* WalkingShirtlessScene: Ignis in his non-human form shows off his well-toned body.
* WhenHeSmiles: Ignis normally has a scowl or frown and at best, a cocky smirk. But in his route, he smiles gently at Kotone and she is taken back by the warmth in his smile.
* WoundLicking: In his route, after Kotone scrapes her hand, Ignis proceeds to lick her wound, though even he was surprised that [[MyInstinctsAreShowing he reacted that way]].
* YouMustBeCold: When standing outside to admire Bestia's snow, Ignis notices that Kotone is cold and he embraces her to keep her warm since he doesn't have an extra jacket to offer her.

An innocent, ditzy angel from the Heavenly world Caelm. He is very obsessed with otome games and often buys games and merch. Is often spoiled by the other attendents.
----
* AngelicBeauty: Il, despite being a fallen angel, is still known for his beauty.
* BeautifulSingingVoice: Befitting of an angel, Il has a lovely singing voice which he can also weaponize.
* BecomingTheMask: [[spoiler: In his route, it's revealed that his mannerisms, personality and even his ''name'' were all copied from his favorite otome character when he first came to the human world. Over the years, he continued with the Il persona and vehemently denied that he was once the Angel of Judgement.]]
* BerserkButton: Il is normally a very pleasant and affable person but in Misyr's route, when he finds out that [[spoiler: God and Solitus]] endangered Kotone and Misyr, the two people Il was closest to, and casually dismissed the danger they were now in, he starts ''yelling'' at them in fury.
* CrazyJealousGuy: PlayedForLaughs in his route when Rindo makes a innocent remark about spending time with Kotone, Il immediately places himself between him and Kotone, hugging her tightly and telling Rindo to get away from her. It is not so much out of jealousy but because the other regulars have (falsely) told Il that Rindo was a flirt towards Kotone and Il didn't want him near Kotone after he developed feelings for her.
* DeclarationOfPersonalIndependence: In his route, after realizing that the other regulars tend to coddle him and that he feels Kotone doesn't find him dependable, Il tries to become more independent by doing the dishes on his own. He fails and ends up breaking several plates.
* DidntThinkThisThrough: When Il shares his favorite otome game with Kotone and encourages her to play it, he did not consider that [[spoiler: Kotone would eventually realize that all his personality, mannerisms and name are identical to his favourite character in the game and she would become disturbed by it or at least confront him about the similarities.]]
* DismembermentIsCheap: In his route, Il loses his arm [[spoiler: when Solitus slices it off in the alleyway]] but he immediately replaces it and didn't feel any pain or barely noticed losing it, though Kotone is horrified by it.
* DitzyGenius: He's very intelligent when it comes to math and can be good when it comes to combat. However, when it comes to basic common sense, he's very oblivious. This could be explained by him being a non-human in a human world, if not for the fact that virtually every other non-human capable of human speech can more-or-less understand such concepts and blend in.
* TheDreaded: In Caelm, Il is universally feared [[spoiler: as the Angel of Judgement, the most powerful angel in their world, who would routinely kill fallen angels.]]
* DumbassHasAPoint: Il by no means is dumb but he has little experience or knowledge regarding humans and relationships in general. But he is the one to suggest that all the regulars go a date with Kotone to help distract her and help her to cope after witnessing Kororo's families' deaths. The other regulars are surprised that it was Il to think of this first.
* EmptyEyes: After [[spoiler: having his personality reset to his original state]], Il's eyes become completely dull.
* FallenAngel: In Caelm, a fallen angel is classified as an angel who develops emotions. Il is noted to be different in that [[spoiler: his first encounters with Souen and Misyr was either with silence or [[BrokenRecord repeatedly asking what is love]]. Misyr was uncertain why he was obsessed with finding out specifically about love.]]
* FirstTimeFeeling: When visiting Bestia for the first time, Il is confused when he becomes cold. He later on expresses how happy he is because he had never experienced being cold before.
* FormalCharactersUseKeigo: Befitting his kindhearted and polite nature, he frequently speaks in a polite form of Japanese.
* FormulaicMagic: The magic of angels in Caelm run through mathematical formulas, and the magic he's capable of is no exception to this rule.
* IKnowMortalKombat: PlayedForLaughs as Il uses his knowledge of otome games to educate the others and himself when going a date with Kotone.
* IdentityBreakdown: [[spoiler: When fellow angel Solitis confronts Il, he reveals to Kotone that Il had copied everything, including speech and answers, from his favourite otome game character. Il desperately tries to explain but since the otome character never encountered something like this, Il could not find the right words to say and soon breaks down.]]
* InelegantBlubbering: Il bursts into loud, ugly sobs when [[spoiler: Kotone bring him out of his original setting]] and Kotone notes how human and genuine it makes Il [[spoiler: especially it wasn't anything the otome "Il" could replicate.]]
* InnocentlyInsensitive: Due to not always understanding emotions and relationships, he is often this.
** When carrying Ignis, he bluntly comments about the exact amount of weight that Ignis gained.
** At one point, he tells Rindo that they have never been close so Il never really cared to talk to him.
** When the others realized that Kotone is depressed after seeing the grisly deaths of Kororo's family, Il disagrees, wondering why Kotone would feel emotional towards sea demons or Kororo's family whom she is unrelated to. The other regulars had to gently point out to him why.
** In Rindo's route, when Mikado asks Kotone for help in choosing a gift for his girlfriend, Il offers his help as he claims to know more about girls than Kotone, even as Kotone thinks to herself that she ''is'' a girl.
* TheLoad: In his route, he begins to worry that he is this for Kotone and the other customers of Enchanté. The non-humans can blend into human culture just fine and often asssit Kotone around the café, whereas he's socially awkward, spends most of his time cooped up in his room playing games, and is constantly asking Kotone to help him with errands, while he has never helped her in return. He tries to rectify this after this realization by trying to help Kotone around Café Enchanté more, but his lack of common sense causes some. . . issues. He does slowly become better at helping, thankfully.
* LongHairIsFeminine. He's male, but he's probably the most gentle and easy-going of the Enchanté regulars and really enjoys otome games, and has the longest hair of all of them.
* MagicMusic: Il often sings to utilize his abilities. At the beginning of his route, while letting Kotone rest at the park, he sings her a lullaby, which causes her and ''everyone'' at hearing range to fall asleep.
* NiceGuy: He's friendly, polite, and well-meaning, if rather airheaded and oblivious.
* {{Otaku}}: Il is a massive fan of Otome games, and his room is filled with ton of merchandise and games.
* PeripheryDemographic: In-universe example. He is a male angel who is a fan of otome games, which by definition are made for a female audience.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: When Il and Kotone are at the game convention and some men arrive to harass girls, particularly Kotone, Il delivers a calm but brutal rebuke at the men for ruining the atmosphere and that no girl would want them.
* ShipperOnDeck: In Misyr's route, Il is beaming when he sees Misyr and Kotone laughing together at the café and even [[LeaveTheTwoLovebirdsAlone leaves the room]]. He is uncharacteristically down when [[spoiler: Misyr refused to return to the café after the reveal of his true form]] and even blames Asmodeus for getting in the way of Misyr and Kotone's relationship.
* ThinksLikeARomanceNovel: Much of the way he goes about romance, and life in general, comes from otome games. [[spoiler: This was not always the case. He was originally a stoic, seemingly unemotional and logical angel. He was assigned to kill the two Apostles of Recollection, who had learned of emotions by falling in love with each other and became fallen angels because of this. They managed to restrain Il, rendering him unable to attack them for some time. During this time, the Apostles of Recollection decided to share their feelings of love with each other to him, and afterwards they were killed. Ever since, Il became curious about "love." Much later on, Misyr met him at Enchanté and saw him asking about what "love" was. Misyr bought him an otome game he saw an advertisement for to help him with this curiousity.]]
* TraumaButton: In his route, Il all but has a panic attack when he sees an angel feather that Kotone picked up. [[spoiler: Having ran away from Caelm, Il fears that angels are there to take him back.]]
* WorfHadTheFlu: Il is noticeably affected by the cold in Bestia and is greatly weakened by it. This is why he did so poorly when [[spoiler: the blood-crazed Ignis]] attacked and severely injured him when in any other circumstances, Il would have been easily able to restrain [[spoiler: Ignis.]]
* WorldsBestWarrior: In his route, it is revealed he was once the strongest warrior among the angels.

An agent of the GPM, his job is monitor Cafe Enchante for any suspect activity. He was good friends with Kotone's Late grandfather, Souan.
----

* AlmostKiss: In his route, just when Rindo and Kotone were about to kiss, Rindo's phone [[MomentKiller started ringing]] and a familiar voice commented that they knew Rindo was about to do something evil to a girl. Kotone immediately recognizes the voice as Misyr and starts blushing furiously that he and the other regulars must have been watching them.
* ButtMonkey: Poor Rindo goes through a lot, from being mocked by the other attendants for his age to having Misyr poke his ribcage causing him extreme pain (complete with BlankWhiteEyes).
* ButNowIMustGo: [[spoiler: In his bad ending, no longer able to live with himself after being transformed into a non-human, Rindo leaves on a self-discovery journey, promising Kotone that he will return one day if he can return to being human. At that point, Kotone sadly muses it had already been three years and she still has not seen Rindo since.]]
* CynicismCatalyst: It's revealed that Rindo became cynical and lost interest in having any happiness for himself after [[spoiler: he was almost forced to kill his little sister who had transformed into a mindless, rampaging non-human.]]
* FelonyMisdemeanor: PlayedForLaughs when Rindo takes Kotone out for dinner to get her to rest after working non-stop. Misyr semi-seriously wants to burn him alive for asking. Ignis tells her to kick him in the nuts if he tried anything and Canus advises her to stab Rindo in the throat while he is stunned.
* IJustWantToBeNormal: In his route, he quietly confesses to Canus (not realizing Kotone was listening in) that he wishes to go out on dates with her and even meet her parents but he can't because [[spoiler: he is now non-human and no longer "normal".]]
* InsecureLoveInterest: In his route, after [[spoiler: he becomes non-human]], Rindo feels he is undeserving of Kotone and she should be with someone else.
* MaamShock: Rindo is aware he is in his forties but doesn't like it when others refer to him as "old man" or "old".
* OnlyAFleshWound: Rindo gets accidentally stabbed by icicles created by Kariya who was going through an emotional crisis. He pretends he is not badly injured to not cause Kariya or Kotone to panic but the regulars see through his act quickly.
* SharpDressedMan: Rindo's main outfit is a three piece suit with a WaistcoatOfStyle.
* ShirtlessScene: After [[spoiler: becoming non-human]], there is a brief period where Rindo walked around without a shirt on.
* StepfordSmiler: In his route, Kotone realizes that despite always having a pleasant smile, there is a hint of sadness in his expression.
* SwordAndGun: In combat, Rindo can be seen holding a gun in one hand and a knife in the other.
* TheTeamNormal: Rindo is the only human among the regulars. Though he recognizes he can't compared to the strength and abilities of the non-humans, Kotone notes he is still [[BadassNormal an exceptional fighter]].
* TwoFaced: This is what happens to [[spoiler: his transformed non-human form after Kotone gives him a drug to save his life. Half of his upper body remains human while the other half has a skeletal/shadow-like form.]]
* WhatBeautifulEyes: In his route, when asking Kotone to go a date with him, Kotone notices how clear and bright his eyes are.

----
* AbusiveParents: Kariya's biological parents and other relatives are noted to have either abandoned or mistreated him once they realize he wasn't entirely human.
* ChildOfTwoWorlds: Despite living as a human for most of his life, Kariya is discovered to have fairy ancestry and has been steadily growing sicker as his body is not meant to be in the human world but in Medio. He struggles with leaving his human life behind to live in Medio or stay in the human world with his HappilyAdopted family but would not live for a long time.
* HumanAlienDiscovery: Or rather, human fairy discovery.
* AnIcePerson: He is an ice fairy.
* MysticalWhiteHair: Kariya's white hair is noticeable by other characters and a hint that he has some non-human ancestry.
* PowerIncontinence: Kariya doesn't always have full control over his ice powers. If his mental state worsens, he can freeze the surrounding area around him. When serving meals to the regulars, he can accidentally freeze their meals or drinks.
* SugarAndIcePersonality: He's initially standoffish towards the Enchanté regulars, but he very quickly warms up to them and proves to be a kind and caring boy.
* TakeAThirdOption: Kariya has to decide whether to live in Medio (leaving his human life behind) or stay in the human world (where his sickness will worsen and kill him) but another option presents itself that he could make temporary trips to Medio while still living in the human world and he could work in Enchanté, which acts as a intermediary between the worlds to stabilize his condition for the time being.
* TearsOfRemorse: Kariya breaks down into tears when unintentionally stabbing Rindo with his ice powers.
* TerribleArtist: In Canus' route, due to him having fairy ancestry, it's revealed he's able to feel what Canus looks like and is asked to draw it. It's.... [[https://i.redd.it/dopf1o9wfxc61.jpg something]] to say the least.

* BabysFirstWords: Kororo usually says variations of "Kyuuru" but he suddenly says Ignis's name at the end of the trip to find his parents, surprising Ignis who had not known sea demons to speak.
* EvilDetectingDog: [[spoiler: It turns out that Kororo knew that Dromi has malicious intentions towards Ignis, hence why he is always heard angrily growling when Dromi is near.]]
* HeadbuttOfLove: Kororo tends to headbutt Ignis as a way to show his affection. Considering he has a horn on his head, it can hurt.
* JerkassToOne: Kororo is noted to dislike Dromi and start growling when in his presence. [[spoiler: It's because Kororo knows that Dromi has ill intentions towards Ignis.]]
* MomentKiller: In Ignis's route, Kotone and Ignis are having a heartfelt moment where Kotone almost admits her feelings to Ignis when Kororo sends a large splash of water at Ignis.
* RidiculouslyCuteCritter: A cute baby sea demon who quickly attaches to Ignis, Kotone and Kariya.
* ShipperOnDeck: Kororo is shown wanting Kotone and Ignis to be together, understandably as he views both as his ParentalSubstitute, and appears frustrated when neither Kotone or Ignis seem to follow through with his attempts to get them together.
* SuddenlySpeaking: Kororo mostly says "kyuuru" and was able to say Ignis's name once or twice but in Ignis's route, Kororo suddenly manages to speak in broken one-word sentences to [[spoiler: explaining the history of Vanar and what it meant for Ignis]].
* SweetSeal: Not technically a seal, but a magical beast from Bestia called "Parks," but it looks like and is compared to a seal and lives in the sea, and they're very sweet and cute.

----
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: [[spoiler: A major reason he decides to help Rindo and Kotone after the former was cursed and on the verge of death was because Kotone didn't judge Mikado's relationship with Kuu/Shizuku as weird.]]
* BunnyEarsLawyer: He is a genuinely talented and intelligent scientist in spite of his eccentric personality, apperance, and hobbies.
* CompanionCube: He is often seen with his plush fox, whom he affectionately names "Kuu-chan". [[spoiler: It's actually his girlfriend Shizuka, who has been transformed into a non-human and is often in a sedated state.]]
* GoThroughMe: In a flashback, Mikado stands between [[spoiler: the recently transformed and rampaging Shizuka]] and [[spoiler: Rindo]] who was reluctantly going to shoot and kill [[spoiler: Shizuka]]. He does it again in the present time [[spoiler: after orchestrating events to try to revert Shizuka back to her human form]] and once again, stops [[spoiler: Rindo]] from killing [[spoiler: Shizuka]].
* LargeHam: Often tends to make grand gestures and speak very loudly.
* MadScientist: As a researcher for the GPM, he has rather… unorthodox methods of researching non-humans, including trying to invite the regulars to his office to examine them or to try and let Kotone “rub his tender cheeks on the cafe’s gate”.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Mikado looks like a high schooler student like Kariya but he is actually twenty-nine years old and is older than Kotone.
* RedOniBlueOni: The bombastic red oni to Rindo and his assistant’s calmer blue onis.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: [[spoiler: In Rindo's route, after discovering the awful truth that the GPM's research department and upper management were the ones to intentionally transform Shizuka into a non-human to keep her quiet, Mikado goes on one of these to get revenge for what they did to Shizuka]].

* FoulFox: Played with. While in her non-human fox form, Shizuka mindlessly attacks and eats several GPM members, many who were not involved in her forceful transformation. However, there are hints that Shizuka cannot control herself or is simply obeying her boyfriend Mikado.
* HorrorHunger: She has a hunger for human blood and their lifeforce. Even in her sleeping state, she would wake up on occasion and feed on Mikado's arm.
* SheKnowsTooMuch: It's revealed this is why Shizuka was transformed into a non-human. She knew too much and protested against the unethical experiments that the research department was performing to make humans into non-humans.

* AnnoyingYoungerSibling: Dromi is not related to Ignis but he behaves like they are as they had grown up together. 353
Titania's sibling and the current prime minster of Medio

----

* AmbiguousGender: When they first meet, Kotone takes not that they look androgynous and that she doesn't know what gender Venia is supposed to be. Furthermore, in the original Japanese version, they refer to themself with the person pronoun "boku" (which is usually used by men in real life, but is also commonly used by androgynous characters in anime) and in the English localization, the story initially refers to Venia with they/them pronouns. In Canus' route, Kotone does ask Venia what gender they are. Venia answers that because fairies don't reproduce in a way where biological sex would be relevant (as fairies usually just come into existence), fairies don't usually consider gender important. They tell Kotone that she can address them however way they want to. Kotone decides that Venia comes across as male to her.
* BigBrotherInstinct: While it's implied that Vennia is the younger sibling, everything that Vennia did in Canus's route was to save his sister Titania from dying.
* EasilyForgiven: In Canus's route, despite his well intentions, [[spoiler: his plan still could have seriously injured or killed Kotone]]. Yet, she and Canus were quick to forgive him.
* NonHumanNonBinary: Fairies don't place much important on gender, so Venia doesn't really care what gender they're address as. That being said, Canus' route does treat him as male.
* NothingPersonal: Vennia has no trouble [[spoiler: switching Kotone with Titania as the World Bride]] despite befriending Kotone and Titania's pleas, as Vennia would do anything to save Titania at the cost of anyone else.
* PronounTrouble: When Kotone first meet him, his androgynous appearance causes her some confusion and so Kotone uses they/them when thinking about him. Later in Canus' route, he states that he doesn't mind what she thinks of him, so Kotone switches to using he/him to refer to him.
* ShipperWithAnAgenda: In Canus's route, he appears to be pleased to notice Canus and Kotone getting closer and is noted to be frequently observing the couple, even bringing Kotone to Medio to help patch things up between the two. [[spoiler: His actual goal is to switch Kotone with Titania as a World Tree Bride, thus giving Canus and the other regulars motivation to destroy the World Tree.]]
* {{Tsundere}}: Extremely blunt and can come across as apathetic, but he does slowly warm up to the characters, especially Kotone, over time. He also very much loves his sister, Titania.

[[folder: Banshee (UNMARKED SPOILERS!)]]

* BigSisterInstinct: When Titania becomes the next World Tree Bride, Banshee decides to wage a war against the Yggdrasil in order to protect her. She unfortunately failed and her attempt only caused more devastation for everyone involved.
* PosthumousCharacter: Long dead by the time the game starts
* ATragedyOfImpulsiveness: Banshee had good intentions in trying to destroy the Yggdrasil to save Titania but she attempted to do so on her own without any help and her failure to kill the Yggdrasil would result in the Yggdrasil's increased need to kill more fairies. It would force the newly born Canus to kill a large number of the fairy population just to prevent the Yggdrasil from killing everyone in Medio and causing Canus to be widely feared among the remaining fairies.

* EasilyForgiven: Misyr forgives him for all the pain and trouble Noah caused to him and Kotone, as well as nearly destroying all of the other worlds, because Noah truly did not do it out of malice. Not to mention Noah's circumstances were near identical to Misyr's and Misyr recognizes that it easily could have been him who was lost to despair.
* EldritchAbomination: Noah is in essence the World of End Times itself. The humanoid form he is currently using is no more than an illusion since his real body has long been turned to the ash that inhabits the world.
* GreenEyedMonster: He is deeply jealous of Misyr and Kotone's relationship and frequently wonders why Kotone would choose Misyr over him. Noah also wonders why out of the two of them that Misyr was saved and was able to leave the world and not him.
* IdenticalStranger: Justified. Noah had long lost his original human form and decides to take on Misyr's appearance and mannerisms because he thought it would make Kotone like him more.
* LovingAShadow: Noah eventually realizes that he loves the idea of Kotone and being in love with her without truly considering her feelings on the matter.
