* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Japanese sources romanize his name as "Miser," while the localization by Aksys spells it as "Misyr."

* EverythingsBetterwithPlushies: HE often carries and talks to a plushie named Kuu. [[spoiler: At least that's what most people assume Kuu is. It's learned in Rindo's route that Kuu is actually alive. Not only that, but she was also a human woman named Shizuku Rindo, who was turned into a non-human, as well as Mikado's girlfriend and Rindo's sister.]]

* AmbiguousGender: When they first meet, Kotone takes not that they look androgynous and that she doesn't know what gender Venia is supposed to be. Furthermore, in the original Japanese version, they refer to themself with the person pronoun "boku" (which is usually used by men in real life, but is also commonly used by androgynous characters in anime) and in the English localization, the story initially refers to Venia with they/them pronouns. In Canus'route, Kotone does ask Venia what gender they are. Venia answers that because fairies don't reproduce in a way where biological sex would be relevant (as fairies usually just come into existence), fairies don't usually consider gender important. They tell Kotone that she can address them however way they want to. Kotone decides that Venia comes across as male to her.

* Tsundere: Extremely blunt and can come across as apathetic, but he does slowly warm up to the characters, especially Kotone, over time. He also very much loves his sister, Titania.

He did this in the past as a child when other vinitors were attacked by minotaurs, an incident he forgot about and the other vinitors never telling him did kill others. And later in his route, he attacks and kills both the minotaurs attacking the Vinitor Territory, some of the other currently living vinitors (including his uncle); and attacks and almost kills Il and Kotone. Among the beasts in Bestia, this trait is unique to him and his ancestors, and is a major reason why vinitors were often prosecuted by other beasts in Bestia.]]

* DitzyGenius: He's very intelligent when it comes to math and can be good when it comes to combat. However, when it comes to basic common sense, he's very explained. This could be explained by him being a non-human in a human world, if not for the fact that virtually every other non-human capable of human speech can more-or-less understand such concepts and blend in.

* ThinksLikeARomanceNovel: Much of the way he goes about romance, and life in general, comes from otome games. [[spoiler: This was not always the case. He was originally a stoic, seemingly unemotional and logical angel. He was assigned to kill two fallen angels who had learned of emotions by falling in love with each other, but Il became restraint and was unable to attack them for some time. During this time, the angels decided to share their feelings of love with each other to him, and afterwards they were killed. Ever since, Il became curious about "love." Much later on, when Misyr met him at Enchanté and saw him asking about what "love" was, Misyr bought him an otome game he saw an advertisement for to help him with this curiousity.]]
