[[caption-width-right:250: The Last Time Jacker.]]

The main antagonist of ''Kamen Rider: Reiwa The First Generation''. Finis is a [[Series/KamenRiderZiO Time Jacker]] whose actions altered the history of the Daybreak Incident.

For tropes related to [[spoiler:Another 1]] see [[spoiler:Characters/KamenRiderZiOAnotherRiders]].
----
* AllThereInTheManual: Finis' name and their reason for wanting to [[spoiler:avenge Swartz]] wasn’t mentioned in the film.
* AmbiguousGender: Official material states that Finis is a genderless Time Jacker.
* ArmorPiercingQuestion: Talks about the Cross of Fire, the concept of Kamen Riders being flawed creations compared to their creators, and the monsters who continued in that path.
-->”Aren't the powers of Riders derived from evil itself?”
* BatmanGambit: Finis distorted the timeline of ''Zero-One'' with the creation of Another Zero-One, all so they could lure Sougo to Aruto's world and take his power, [[spoiler:then take revenge on him for killing Swartz by becoming Another 1 and wiping out the entire history of Kamen Rider completely]].
* BigBad: Finis is the main cause of the events of ''Kamen Rider: Reiwa The First Generation'', having altered history by giving Will the Zero-One Anotherwatch as part of a plan to [[spoiler:lure out Sougo and steal the powers of the Riders from him]].
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist: To Tid from the last {{Crossover}} movie, ''Heisei Generations FOREVER''.
** Tid is a "Super" Time Jacker who exists in a world where Kamen Riders are fictional television characters, whereas Finis is from a world where Kamen Riders do exist.
** Tid appeared in the last entry of the Heisei era, whereas Finis appeared in the first entry of the Reiwa era.
** Finis is [[spoiler:an actual member of the Time Jackers and loyal to Swartz]], whereas Tid, despite being a Time Jacker himself, doesn't appear to have any tie to Swartz or the Time Jackers whatsoever.
** Tid [[spoiler:became Another Kuuga]] so he could be the only person in the world that could ''smile'' [[spoiler:and erase the Heisei Era where it first began.]] Finis [[spoiler:became Another 1]] to [[spoiler:get revenge on Sougo and erase the Kamen Riders’ history by erasing the first Rider himself.]]
* DragonTheirFeet: [[spoiler:Finis is in fact loyal to Swartz, and seek revenge against Sougo by following their master’s plan of destroying the Kamen Rider multiverse by removing the very first Rider, Ichigo, and erase all of them as a result.]]
* HorribleJudgeOfCharacter: [[spoiler:[[EvilVirtues Remaining loyal to someone enough to avenge them seems not bad on paper]], but as shown in Zi-O’s own series, Swartz was ultimately only looking out for himself [[GodhoodSeeker to become a]] RealityWarper, [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness and probably would have disposed of her as well]], if Swartz lived a little bit longer.]]
* ItsPersonal: [[spoiler:The reason why they are hostile towards Sougo. They were loyal to Swartz and want revenge, hence why they chose to target the Reiwa Era Kamen Rider Zero-One, one of his creations, and distort his history so they could lure the King of Time out and take his power before using it to become Another Ichigo to erase all of the Kamen Riders' history.]]
* LightIsNotGood: In contrast to the Time Jackers from ''Zi-O'', Finis is garbed in pure white attire. Finis is also one of the most steal Aruto's history as a Kamen Rider to do so and is indirectly responsible for Will murdering Korenosuke Hiden in the altered timeline.
* MeaningfulName: Finis, in Swedish, typically means "closing time" or "the end." Alternatively in Latin and English, Finis can also mean “end” and “finish” respectively. Fittingly, they are (so far) the last Time Jacker to appear, and as a season’s natural run ends with its crossover with the following season barring Direct-to-Video specials, it makes them the final villain of the Heisei era on either television or film.
* NeverTrustATrailer: Promotional materials stated that Finis was a WellIntentionedExtremist who altered Zero-One's history to prevent the tragedy of Daybreak Town from ever happening, with the trailer revealing that said actions led to Will murdering Korenosuke and starting a war against the human race. [[spoiler:They are ''far'' from being well-intentioned and set the incident up to lure out Sougo so she could take revenge for Swartz.]]
* NoNameGiven: Finis' name is not mentioned in the film and is only revealed in [[AllThereInTheManual promotional material]].
* NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist: While Finis’s actions prevented the Daybreak Town Accident, they also led to Will murdering Korenosuke Hiden and the Ark successfully launching and waging a RobotWar against humanity. Not that they care, as their goal was always to [[spoiler:lure out Sougo and steal the powers of the Riders from him]].
* RememberTheNewGuy: [[spoiler:Despite revealing themselves to be a member of the Time Jackers that was loyal to Swartz,]] they were never mentioned or even hinted at in ''Zi-O''.
* UndyingLoyalty: To [[spoiler:Swartz]]. This loyalty is what kickstarts the events of the film when [[spoiler:Sougo kills Swartz]].
* WhamLine: [[spoiler:“I shall become the first Kamen Rider!”]]

[[folder:S[=/=]Kamen Rider Eden '''(unmarked spoilers)''']]
!!Rihito Isshiki/S/Kamen Rider Eden
!!!'''Portrayed by:''' Hideaki Ito (live), Yuji Nakata (suit)

A mysterious man who was given the Eden Driver by As, transforming him to Kamen Rider Eden.
!!!Tropes that apply to him in general
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kr01_mysteriousperson.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:Leader of Thinknet]]

* AnArmAndALeg: In his first two fights with Aruto, the latter manages to slice off his arm. It doesn't stick thanks to the nanomachines in his body growing him a new one.
* AntiVillain: The whole reason he's enacting global terrorism is to transfer people's consciousnesses into virtual reality to populate a virtual world for his dead fiancée. Although sympathetic, he's still a terrorist bent on [[RestartTheWorld Restarting the World]] and this doesn't stop Aruto and the others from interfering with his plans.
* BatmanGambit: He debuts his plan with grand, hammy fanfare, even directly challenging Aruto to come and stop him. This sounds like a terrible idea, except for one thing: ''he doesn't actually have his world-ending superweapon yet''. He needs Zea's ability to make new Progrise Keys for that, and Aruto directly bringing the Zero-Two key to him was the key to his plan actually getting anywhere.
* BlasphemousBoast: Doubles as BadassBoast.
-->"If God [[Literature/BookOfGenesis created the world in 6 days]], then I will destroy it in 60 minutes and create paradise."
* BoringButPractical: Similarly to Jogen from [[Film/KamenRiderZiOOverQuartzer the previous summer movie]], S has no need for theatrics, creating and becoming Kamen Rider Eden with minimal fanfare. Ironically, the Eden Zetsumerisekey is anything but simplistic, being a retooled Amazing Caucasus key and constantly blaring dramatic stings and music while transforming.
* BrainUploading: Isshiki died years ago, with the corpse to prove it. S is actually his consciousness uploaded into a nanomachine swarm.
* TheCameo: He makes a brief appearance during TheStinger, corrupting a blank Progrisekey and a Zero-One Driver into the Eden Zetsumerisekey and Eden Driver respectively before transforming into Eden for the first time. He makes his proper debut as the main villain of ''REAL×TIME''.
* CombatPragmatist: He defeats the extremely powerful, quantum computing-based Zero-Two by taking the more logical approach and simply yanking the Zero-Two Driver off of Aruto.
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist: To Leader of Quartzer/Kamen Rider Barlckxs/[[spoiler:SOUGO Tokiwa]], the main villain of Film/KamenRiderZiOOverQuartzer. While they both are leaders of a group trying to change the world, the Leader of Quartzer is trying to rewrite history and replace it with his own, while S wants to upload humanity into a virtual reality [[spoiler: for the sake of his fiancee.]]
* DarkMessiah: S's followers see him as a prophet or god-like figure and believe he will bring them to paradise.
* DeadAllAlong: Zigzagged. Rihito Isshiki has been dead for years, but prior to his death, he managed to upload his consciousness into the nanomachine swarm that would go on to become S.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: He's Aruto's biggest threat for the duration of the movie, but after his defeat, his role as the BigBad is displaced and handed over to [[TheStarscream Behru]], who serves as the film's FinalBoss.
* EvilCounterpart: To Aruto. Both suffered a great tragedy during the Daybreak Incident, Aruto losing his [=HumaGear=] father Soreo and S losing his fiancée Akane. Whereas Aruto managed to move on from the loss of his loved one and focused on the present, S wants nothing more than to reunite with his fiancée and is willing to go to some extreme lengths to do so.
* {{Foil}}: To the Ark. The Ark was an artificial intelligence who, after being exposed to humanity at their absolute worst, wanted to render all of humanity extinct and treated its followers as mere pawns and was more than willing to throw them away after they could no longer prove useful. S is a human infected with nanomachines who kickstarts a series of worldwide terrorist attacks to create a paradise for humanity in the form of a virtual reality and digitizing people's consciousnesses. Regarding their followers, the Ark corrupted three of the four members into becoming its followers and using them however it pleased with no regards to their own well-being. In contrast, S offered Thinknet members the opportunity to build a new world order. While he does plan to ultimately cut them loose, S at least has the excuse of washing his hands of people who willingly caused untold amounts of destruction, even thinking that the members of Thinknet are how the Ark came to exist in the first place.
* HeelFaceTurn: Realizes that his plan to make a paradise is a selfish one, considering he was only in it to begin with to revive Akane. Though unable to fight due to Bell stealing the Eden Driver beforehand, he still manages to break into the master controls for his nanomachines and destroy them, undoing the damage caused by them.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Although it was a key part in his plans, S creating the Hellrising Hopper Progrisekey and it being taken before he could use it gave Aruto the means to defeat him.
* {{Nanomachines}}: He's a living conglomerate of this, capable of healing any damage inflicted to him at an incredibly fast rate. It also means that [=MetalCluster=]'s own nanomachine swarm actually makes the weaker form vastly more efficient against Eden than Zero-Two.
* OneDegreeOfSeparation: S and his fiancée Akane were present during the Daybreak Incident i.e. the event that shaped Aruto's life, having been developing nanomachines aided by artificial intelligence. And like Aruto, the Daybreak Incident shaped S' future as well.
* OneLetterName: His name is literally just the letter "S". Subverted, as "S" is what he's known as by his companions. His real name is Rihito Isshiki.
* RestartTheWorld: What he intends to do, as he states to As when she gives him his Zetsumerisekey and Driver.
-->"I will destroy the current world...then I will create a paradise on earth."
* WellIntentionedExtremist: [[SubvertedTrope Subverted]]. S is still an AntiVillain, but his goal is to create a paradise for his fiancée rather than for the world as a whole.
* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: Tries to pull this on Thinknet once his plan to create paradise reaches fruition. [[OutGambitted It doesn't pan out]].
!!Tropes exclusive to him as Kamen Rider Eden
[[quoteright:210:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kr01_eden.png]]
[[caption-width-right:210:''Progrise! '''Ark!''' '''Imagine! Ideal! Illusion! Eden the Kamen Rider!'''\
[[AC:The creator who charges forward, believing in paradise.]]'']]
* BodyHorror: Like Ark-Zero, Kamen Rider Eden isn't a suit, per se. It's the result of S merging with the Eden Lost Model, causing the armor to emerge from his body while blood-like fluid bursts all around him.
* EvilCounterpart:
** To [=MetsubouJinrai=].net post-HeelFaceTurn. Half of their members use Progrisekeys to transform while the other half use Zetsumerisekeys, all of which are based off animals. Although Eden also uses a Zetsumerisekey, his is based off of humanity.
** Technology wise, the Eden Driver is of the same make as its predecessor, the Zetsumetsu Driver as it is a modified variant of the Zero-One Driver, made using Ark-based technology.
* EvilIsVisceral: Has blood vessels as a main motif and ejects large amounts of a red substance resembling human blood when transforming and using finishers.
* FinishingMove:
** Eden Driver:
*** '''Eden Impact''': Eden lets a single drop of his nanomachines fall from his fingers. When it hits the floor, the surrounding area is flooded by the nanomachines, appearing like a pool of blood. Large spikes then emerge and follow the opponent's position. Once the enemy is trapped between spikes, they merge to form a dome that imprisons them. The dome enlarges before Eden closes his fist, causing it to quickly implode and leave behind a spray of the nanomachines in their liquid state.
** Thousand Jacker:
*** '''Thousand Break''' (Hellrise): Eden charges the Thousand Jacker with purple and red energy before pointing it upward, creating a pillar of light that extends miles into the sky and is surrounded by rings of red energy and spiraling red lightning. With the pillar of light anchored to the tip of the Thousand Jacker, Eden draws a circle in the air with the weapon, creating two rings of distortion above him. Finally, Eden stabs the Thousand Jacker into the ground, causing dark purple energy to travel back down the pillar of light. When the energy reaches the base of the pillar, it results in an explosion that sends out massive shockwaves of purple energy which destroy the surrounding area.
* HealingFactor: Due to S being a conglomerate of nanomachines, any damage he receives is repaired at an incredibly fast rate. The only thing capable of overcoming this is Aruto in Hellrising Hopper form, which inflicts damage faster than Eden could repair himself. S even weaponizes this at one point. When he's losing to Metal Cluster Hopper who's own nanomachines are eating away at his own he simply turns the Thousand Jacker to maximum power and levels the entire area, bringing the whole stadium down on top of them, killing his followers in the area and forcing Aruto to use all of his power to shield himself and just barely take the hit. S himself is blown to bits but regenerates like usual, casually walking off while Aruto is totally exhausted and unable to follow him.
* HumansAreTheRealMonsters: Seemingly [[InvokedTrope invoked]], as unlike the other Kamen Riders, his Ride Model is based off of a human. More so when the item he uses to transform into his Rider form is a Zetsumerisekey instead of a Progrisekey.
* LogicalWeakness: Zero-One's [=MetalCluster=] Hopper form served as a KryptoniteFactor towards Eden.
* MeaningfulName: "Eden" is the name of paradise created by God for Adam and Eve in the Old Testament. Fitting, given his declaration to create a paradise of his own after he destroys the current order of the world.
* MythologyGag: A small one, but his transformation announcement's last line, "Eden the Kamen Rider!" before the speech-to-text jingle harkens back to the transformation announcements of [[Series/KamenRiderDrive Kamen Riders Brain and Heart]].
* PurpleIsPowerful: In the dark, the suit appears purple. Otherwise, it's a case of RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver.
* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: Kamen Rider Eden's suit is almost entirely black with a few hints of red, and is by far one of the most dangerous opponents Aruto has faced since the Ark.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Has red eyes on the helmet and is one of the most dangerous "Ark Riders" Aruto's faced since Kamen Rider Ark-Zero.
* WeakButSkilled: Eden's stats are actually lower than [=MetalCluster Hopper=] and Aruto has access to stronger forms such as Realizing Hopper and Zero-Two. Despite the difference in strength, Eden makes up for it by way of ability and a potent HealingFactor.

!!Behru/Kamen Rider Abaddon/Kamen Rider Lucifer

The de-facto leader of Abaddon's users, Behru consequently serves as TheDragon to S. After learning the truth about S's agenda, Behru steals the Eden Driver and activates a hidden function in the Driver Unit, upgrading Eden's form to the sinister Lucifer.
!!!Tropes that apply to him in general
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1_329.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:Enforcer of Thinknet]]

* AllEncompassingMantle: Wears a large red cloak in his civilian attire.
* AntiVillain: He's mainly just upset that S really centered his plans all around one person, and wants to expand his visions to cover the entire world. The main issue with this is not only the destruction said plans are already causing, but also the fact that for [[{{Jerkass}} numerous]] [[CyberneticsEatYourSoul good]] [[HumansAreTheRealMonsters reasons]], S has every right to turn away him and his 100 million goons.
* BigBad: In the climax, Behru usurps S and attempts to go forward with his original plan to destroy the world and forcibly digitize everyone into the virtual reality.
* CyberneticsEatYourSoul: Undertones of this serve as a recurring theme for both him and Lucifer. Behru's hijacking of S's plans causes them to regress to that of an amoral LotusEaterMachine, he himself is a digital avatar projecting itself into the real world, and the transformation announcement for Lucifer is much more mechanical in nature compared to Eden's.
* DigitalAvatar: His civilian form as Abaddon is really an avatar projecting into the real world. Unlike Moore and Buga, though, he's still himself in the real world, just with glasses and his hair combed back.
* TheDragon: The de-facto leader of Abaddon's users, and is thus second-in-command to S.
* DragonAscendant: Takes control of S's plans for himself after he [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness experiences a moment of clarity]].
* FinalBoss: After ousting S and becoming Lucifer, Behru serves as the final opponent of the film.
* {{Irony}}: The mental health care employee turns out to be the most unhinged of Thinknet's members.
* MeaningfulName: Named after Belial, a demonic figure in the Hebrew Bible.
* NearVillainVictory: The doomsday clock was ''milliseconds'' away from hitting from zero by the time Zero-One and Zero-Two defeated him.
* TheStarscream: Betrays S upon learning that he just wanted to be with his fiancée again.
* TokenGoodTeammate: Downplayed, but he seems to genuinely believe in Thinknet's RestartTheWorld plan and isn't shown to be {{sadist}}ic like the other elite Abaddons, nor does he have an [[AntiVillain understandable]] but self-serving motive like S does. He just wants to make a paradise.
* XanatosSpeedChess: He immediately deduces something is up when S disappears and moves to counter S's true goal, emerging right after Aruto has defeated him to take the Eden Driver.
!!Tropes exclusive to him as his custom Kamen Rider Abaddon model
* ColorCodedForYourConvenience: As with the other elite Abaddons, Behru's Rider form has a specially colored shoulder pad.
* EliteMook: Despite having his own customizations, it does little to change the fact that Behru is still using a mass-produced Rider troop for his powers.
* TheLeader: To the Thinknet/Abaddon users.
* RedIsViolent: He's the team leader of a group of villains and has a red shoulder pad.
!!Tropes exclusive to him as Kamen Rider Lucifer
[[quoteright:210:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kr01_lucifer.png]]
[[caption-width-right:210:''Progrise!''\
''[[AC:The creator who charges forward, believing in paradise.]]''\
'''''Over the Eden!''''']]
* CantCatchUp: Despite being more powerful than Eden as Lucifer, Behru still lags behind and is completely unable to make a dent in Zero-One Realizing Hopper and Zero-Two, with his one use of the Paradise Impact instantly parried by them and all of the shots fired from the modified Thousandjacker countered or dodged. Part of this is unlike Eden, Lucifer is not a nanite swarm and thus lacks the HealingFactor and durability that let Eden punch outside of his weight class in the first place.
* CheshireCatGrin: One serves as Lucifer's mouthpiece.
* DemBones: Lucifer purges some of Eden's armor and turns the accents white, giving it a skeletal appearance. Its Lost Model is also a giant skeleton.
* EatenAlive: Lucifer's Lost Model is a giant skeleton that devours Behru to form the undersuit.
* EvilCounterpart: Just like Eden and Horobi Ark-Scorpion before him, Lucifer is a false form of Zero-One accessed by mounting an Ark-based driver unit onto the Zero-One Driver.
* EvilIsVisceral: Despite being based on bones rather than flesh, Lucifer still has traits of this, as its TransformationSequence has the armor plates manifest through large spiky masses resembling growths from bone cancer.
* EyeLightsOut: Lucifer's eyepieces are black and hollow, compared to Eden's fluorescent red.
* FinishingMove:
** Eden Driver:
*** '''Paradise Impact''': Lucifer attempts to roundhouse-kick his opponents mid-air. Key word: ''[[CurbstompBattle attempts]]''. He isn't actually able to connect it with Zero-One and Zero-Two beating the tar out of him.
** Thousand Jacker:
*** '''Thousand Break''' (Hellrise): Lucifer charges the Thousand Jacker with magenta and cyan energy before thrusting it forward, creating a cyan energy drill surrounded by purple energy and lightning.
* LightIsNotGood: In contrast to Eden, Lucifer has white accents on its armor.
* MythologyGag: Him accessing a new form of Eden by activating a hidden function on a derivative of the protagonist's driver brings to mind [[Series/KamenRiderBuild Evol Blackhole]], even saying a similar line when activated ("Over the Eden.")
* PowerUpLetDown: Lucifer is a power up over Eden...but he's also a tangible being rather than a swarm of nanites. As such, he lacks Eden's HealingFactor, which was part of what allowed him to punch so far outside of his weight class to begin with. As such, Lucifer fairs ''far'' worse than Eden.

->"''Thinknet Rise!'' '''''Crowding Hopper! An attack method using various group tactics.'''''"
-->-- Abaddoriser transformation announcement

Rider troops serving S created by inserting the Crowding Hopper Progrisekey into yellow Shotrisers and Slashrisers called Abaddorisers. The named users have access to stronger versions of the model with colored markings.
----
* AbusiveParent: Mua's real-life self is seen neglecting her crying baby to log on to Thinknet.
* ApocalypseCult: They seek to bring about the end of the world so they can "remake" it by forcibly downloading everyone into a virtual world.
* TheBrute: Buga, the largest and most muscular member of the team and prefers physical force.
* ColorCodedForYourConvenience: The high-ranking Abaddons all have uniquely colored shoulder pads.
* DigitalAvatar: Many of Thinknet's members appear via avatars:
** Mua appears as a gothic-lolita girl. In actuality, she's an overweight housewife.
** Buga is TheBrute as Abaddon, but is really a pale-looking frail man.
* ElectronicMusic: They use this as one of their motifs through the sounds of their Abaddorisers, symbolizing their digitized nature. Subverted when using finishers, which instead play rock solos once fired off.
* EvilKnockoff: While As's own Kamen Riders draw power from false Zero-One Driver upgrades, Abaddon instead draws upon A.I.M.S. and ZAIA's technology to create washed-out armored knockoffs of the hypothetical Shotriser Rising Hopper suit.
* FinishingMove: Whereas the A.I.M.S. Riders have the Blast/Blast Fever finishers and Jin has the Rain/Rain Rush finishers, Abaddon instead substitutes the '''Crowding Energy/Energy Fall''' and '''Crowding Burst/Burst Cannon''' on the Slash and Shot Abaddorisers respectively.
* GlassCannon: They can obviously pack a punch when in a capable user's hands, since they are actual Kamen Riders. The problem is that the suits are so fragile that simply ''calling down a Rider Model'' is enough to instantly kill them.
* GuysSmashGirlsShoot: The only female member of the high command, Mua, uses a Shot Abaddoriser, while the other members mostly use Slash Abaddorisers.
* HumansAreTheRealMonsters: All of them are NotBrainwashed humans who willingly joined a cult to attack innocents and bring about the end of the world. [[spoiler:This is exactly why S has no intention of letting them survive his Armageddon and is instead using their terrorist attacks to preserve the victims in his digital world. He later calls them out on this, saying that malicious and evil humans like them are the exact sort that made the Ark hate humanity]].
* {{Irony}}:
** Lugo is the only member of the high command who doesn't [[DigitalAvatar change his appearance in Thinknet]] even slightly as an Abaddon user (even Behru loses ''his'' glasses and lets down his hair), despite his character archetype being associated the most with the disconnect between virtual avatars and reality.
** The Crowding Hopper key they use has the text-to-speech announcement of "An attack method using various group tactics". In practice, they don't really have anything resembling coordinated tactics, acting more like an angry mob.
* MeaningfulName: Abaddon, in the Book of Revelation, is the angel of the abyss and the king of locusts, tying in with S's motif of the Garden of Eden and the apocalypse.
* MillionMookMarch: They have ''100 million'' members worldwide, and no shortage of cultists in white hoods to march around.
* MookLieutenant: The four high-ranking Abaddons, who lead the regular Abaddon troops into battle.
* MythologyGag: The design of the Abaddons was based partially off the [[Series/KamenRider Shocker Riders]].
* RedEyesTakeWarning: All of them have bright red irises, and are cooperating with S's goals.
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: Mua, an ElegantGothicLolita and the only known female in Thinknet's leadership.
* SquashedFlat: As a FunnyBackgroundEvent, a few of them are actually killed instantly in this manner when the [[spoiler:Realizing Hopper and Zero-Two]] Rider Models crush them after arriving through destroying the roof.
* UnskilledButStrong: The Abbadon suit's stats are on-par with the main Riders' base forms; the normal variant boasts higher punching power and running speed than Rising Hopper, while the commander variant has higher maximum jumping height and kicking power than Sting Scorpion. However, Thinknet is mainly comprised of normal humans with no combat experience, so in practice the only advantage the Abaddon troops has is their ResurrectiveImmortality due to being avatars, and even trained AIMS soldiers can suppress them without transforming.
* UnwittingPawn: S' followers go through with his plan because they believe that they're creating a new Paradise on Earth, which is [[ExactWords technically correct.]] [[spoiler:S' true plan is to create a virtual paradise free of suffering for his fiancée and the ''victims'' of their attack, who are actually having their consciousnesses uploaded into his new world rather than being killed. He [[DidYouActuallyBelieve would never allow]] a group as malicious as Thinknet near his fiancée's new utopia and fully intends to leave them behind to die in the broken remains of the real world.]]
* VisualPun: One that's LostInTranslation. In Japanese internet slang, net users that participate in a FlameWar are called ''net inago'', or net locusts, after their tendency to swarm social media posts. The Abaddons are locust-themed avatars controlled by net users to riot in real life, making them literal ''net locusts''.
* WhiteAndRedAndEerieAllOver: The Thinknet members all wear white uniforms with red highlights and accessories.
* ZergRush: Being based on locusts, they are all but intended to be weaker {{Mook}}s running on Rider powers to overrun any opposition.

* AdmiringTheAbomination: He reacts to [[MechanicalAbomination Kamen Rider [=Metsuboujinrai=]]]'s debut with ''utter glee and excitement'', shouting throughout their first fight ([[GratuitousEnglish in English]]) how amazing it is.
* AffablyEvil: Say what you will about Lyon being a war profiteer, he's a pretty friendly and jovial guy to be around.
* BadassInANiceSuit: Wears a fully-symmetrical pinstripe suit in his civilian attire, in contrast to his kidnappee Jin, whose suit is only halfway pinstriped.
* TheBadGuyWins: [[spoiler:Gets the last laugh in the film despite being brutally murdered by [=MetsubouJinrai=] as the [[MindHive Mass Brain]] key {{Mind Rape}}s Metsuboujinrai's users and makes them obliterate their original selves. On the [[ZigZaggedTrope other hand]], while he does create the threat in KR Metsuboujinrai, his death means the Defense Force is free to look into alternative methods of dealing with said threat other than the Solds, meaning the rest of his plan falters]].
** He gets the last laugh in ''Vulcan & Valkyrie'' too. [[spoiler:Two of his Solds play a crucial role in destroying Metsuboujinrai by giving Isamu and Yua their new forms. Since Metsuboujinrai's death [[KilledOffForReal drags down]] the four Metsuboujinrai.net members with it, in a way Lyon did defeat Metsuboujinrai.net with his Solds. He also indirectly caused Fuwa's [[UncertainDoom ambigious fate]], as the rider was the reason he needed to use a DeadlyUpgrade, fulfilling Lyon's goal of bringing down Aruto by killing his friends.]]
* BadGuysDoTheDirtyWork: While As's StupidEvil tendencies made her an ineffective villain in the long term, Lyon undoubtedly did the world a favor by killing her.
* BatmanGambit: Kidnapped Jin because he knew the other [=MetsubouJinrai.net=] members would try to rescue him, and because he predicted they would use the [=MassBrain=] key to become Kamen Rider Metsuboujinrai.
* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: Lyon's goal for kidnapping Jin was to force [=MetsubouJinrai=].net into becoming "villains" so as to give him an excuse to mass-produce Solds and dominate the military market. While he does succeed in turning the group antagonistic in the form of Kamen Rider [=MetsubouJinrai=], [[spoiler:it ultimately culminates in his death and his plans meaningless since the Department of Defence never wanted to use Solds anyway.]]
* BewareTheSillyOnes: Compared to the other villains of ''Zero-One'', Lyon is an upbeat enemy having fun openly taunting and mocking his opponents. This is the same man that [[spoiler:demolishes The Ark's MouthOfSauron and creates a scarier MechanicalAbomination in less than twenty minutes of real time]].
* BigBad: Of ''Zero-One Others''. He masterminded the creation of the Solds and [[spoiler:brought about Kamen Rider Metsuboujinrai in the end.]]
* BloodKnight: He greatly enjoys fighting, and when he sees [=MetsubouJinrai=].net use the Massbrain Zetsumerisekey and their subsequent transformation into Kamen Rider [=MetsubouJinrai=], he relishes his fight with them, even laughing while being on the receiving end of a CurbStompBattle.
* ButNotTooForeign: An international CEO with a Western name, portrayed by a Japanese-Canadian actor.
* TheChessmaster: Lyon is an extremely skilled manipulator. He sets up Metsuboujinrai.net as a threat for his Solds to fight while using AIMS's ties with them to discredit them as an organization, paving way for the Solds to be introduced into the military.
* CombatSadomasochist: Enjoys dishing out dirt as much as he does receiving it, as seen with his first bout with KR Metsuboujinrai. [[spoiler:It's [[SubvertedTrope subverted]] in his final fight with Metsuboujinrai, where its clear from his constant blocking of Metsuboujinrai's attack, even to the extent of putting one of the Solds in its path in a vain attempt for a HumanShield, that he's not enjoying the fight at all.]]
* CoolShades: Walks into battling wearing a pair of cool sunglasses, which he takes off when transforming into his Rider form.
* CorporateSponsoredSuperhero: His Rider form is named after the company he runs.
* CorruptCorporateExecutive: The CEO of ZAIA's American division and an Kamen Rider hellbent on raising a horde of {{Super Soldier}}s like Jin.
* {{Deconstruction}}: Lyon is basically a one-man deconstructer of the entire plot and setting of ''Zero-One''. Most of the plot of his film is him picking apart the holes in the logic of all the other characters and exploiting loose ends they failed to tie up.
** He deconstructs As's StupidEvil tendencies and plan to spread more malice by pointing out that her plans will always falter because hate is an emotion that quickly fizzles out, whereas those with deeply held principles tend to be much more motivated. Right before snatching her drive to use for his own plan and having her shot in the head.
** He deconstructs how EasilyForgiven the antagonists in ''Zero-One'' were by using the fact that AIMS let off [=MetsubouJinrai.net=] and didn't punish them at all (even though one of the members freely committed ''murder'') to discredit them and turn public opinion against them.
* DidntSeeThatComing: Like his golden counterpart, his plan to promote his Solds by having them fight Metsuboujinrai.net ends up immediately coming down [[spoiler:once Metsuboujinrai severs the Solds' link to the Massbrain A.I., leaving him to fight a vastly-overpowered opponent on his own.]]
* {{Eagleland}}: He's an American CEO, with a bombastic personality and thick accent to emphasize this.
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: Soundly {{Averted}}. Unlike As, he has a much more nuanced understanding of concepts like justice and the strength people can draw from positive emotions and their hearts. However, he fully intends for his company to profit from this by pitting groups with different ideals of justice against one another to produce endless conflict.
-->"Justice never leads the heart astray. And when two rival ideologies of justice collide... It will bring about an endless war!"
* EvilCounterpart:
** To Williamson Yotagaki. Both are [[ButNotTooForeign vaguely-foreign]] members of ZAIA's leadership and are using [=HumaGears=] for covert operations. However, while Williamson generally has the best interests of humans at heart, Lyon only cares about himself and will cooperate with the enemy to enact his plans, spurred by his WarForFunAndProfit desires.
** He is also one to Korenosuke Hiden, the founder of Hiden Intelligence. While Hiden believed Humagears are intended to make people's lives brighter and easier, Arkland sees them as nothing but a tool of war and destruction, as he wants to make a profit to conquer the world.
* EvilerThanThou: Effortlessly asserts himself as superior to Gai (although he turned good) and As, though ironically he's less evil than either of them. He's just more effective.
* EvilIsNotAToy: Crosses over with GoneHorriblyRight. Lyon's antagonism towards [=MetsubouJinrai=].net so as to create an excuse for him to mass-produce Solds and dominate the military market ultimately ends up screwing him over. [[spoiler:Namely in creating a Kamen Rider hellbent on destroying both [=MetsubouJinrai=].net and ZAIA and said Rider killing him.]]
* EvilLaugh: Lets out a hearty laugh whenever he's having fun.
* EvilVersusEvil: Downplayed. One of his first acts upon directly taking control of ZAIA Japan is to knock [[HateSink Gai]] down a peg.
* FaceDeathWithDignity: [[spoiler:When he's beaten by Metsuboujinrai, he simply lets out a triumphant "ZAIA forever!" before falling over dead.]]
* FantasticRacism: He believes that the best role for Humagears are "soldiers" and plans to mass-produce and sell them, essentially putting him around Yua's initial view of Humagears as "tools used by humanity". Although Lyon at least takes steps to ensure his Humagears can't develop sentience.
* {{Foil}}:
** To Gai Amatsu. Gai sets up schemes that falter due to his StupidEvil tendencies, Lyon actually is a competent manipulator who keeps everyone dancing to his tune. Gai sought to scrap all Humagears, while Lyon recognizes their utility and seeks to sell his own versions of them.
** To As as well. As loves malice, Lyon rejects malice and views justice as superior. As has little personality beyond wanting to spread malice, Lyon is full of personality and unabashed flair.
* ForGreatJustice: Exploiting this trope is his main business model. See above.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: His views about malice being an obsolete concept would [[spoiler:herald the advent of [[TheComputerIsYourFriend Zein]], a supposedly BenevolentAI that seeks to expunge malice, when in actuality it plans to KillAllHumans to make that goal possible.]]
* GratuitousEnglish: Makes use of some English phrases and says his lines with a thick American accent, highlighting the fact that he operates internationally.
* {{Greed}}: Like Gai, he isn't looking to take over or destroy the world, just take over the military market with his Solds and make a profit off them.
* HappyEndingOverride: With little more than the [=MassBrain=] key and his wits, Lyon singlehandedly undid everything Aruto and his allies had strived for.
* HiddenDepths: Despite his status as ''[=MetsubouJinrai=]'''s BigBad, he demonstrates a very good understanding of why people will constantly oppose evil, subverting EvilCannotComprehendGood. Unfortunately, this is also his business model.
* ICanRuleAlone: Although As helps him further his ambitions, he makes it very clear to her that, as far as he is concerned, he has no intention of joining her or falling sway to the Ark's own malevolent nature, [[spoiler:even going so far as to destroy her current body]].
* LargeHam: Every line he utters is laced with confidence and charisma.
* ManipulativeBastard: He starts by kidnapping Jin to provoke the rest of Metsuboujinrai.net to storm ZAIA Enterprise JAPAN to rescue him, then crashes a meeting by A.I.M.S. to not only spin the attempt to the public as said group returning to terrorism, but also to discredit A.I.M.S. by revealing that they had a member working for them. Once Metsuboujinrai publicly declares their intent to attack ZAIA to free the Solds, he also uses that opportunity to further dismiss A.I.M.S. and build support for ZAIA and the Solds. It's later revealed that he was also forcing the Defense Force to use Solds over A.I.M.S. by leveraging Japan's relationship with the USA against them.
* NamedAfterSomebodyFamous: {{Inverted}} in-universe. The Ark was ''named after'' '''''him.'''''
* NotBrainwashed: At first, it seems as if Lyon is like those who have fallen to As' manipulations and is just another vessel for the Ark's malice. While As did help him, Lyon has total control of himself and of his situation. He even rejects the notion of using an Ark-based Driver and uses the Thousandriver instead. This can also be seen during his TransformationSequence as the signature eye of the Ark is seen before the headpiece and visor slam down on it.
* ObviouslyEvil: His surname's '''Ark'''land, so there's not much else to be expected. Surprisingly, however, he is ''not'' one of those who has fallen sway to As' manipulations and uses the Thousandriver instead of an Ark-based one. In case of humorous irony, the Ark is actually named after him.
* PosthumousVillainVictory: Lyon dies without being able to [[spoiler: mass-produce the Solds]], but he does manage to [[spoiler: wipe out 2/3rds of the season's entire ensemble by proxy of Kamen Rider Metsubojinrai's rampage during ''Vulcan & Valkyrie,'' turning Humans against Humagears once more in the process]].
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: He tells As that, for all her efforts to restore the Ark or create a worthy successor, she will always fail. Why? Because there will always be ''someone'' with justice, strength and righteousness to oppose it.
* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: His outfit consists of a red formal shirt under a black office suit, and he's [[EvilerThanThou even more evil than Thouser]]. This carries over to Kamen Rider Zaia, whose suit is all black with red eyes. Even the dinosaur-based Zetsumerisekeys that he uses to transform are mainly red.
* ReplacementFlatCharacter: A BigBad who holds a high position in ZAIA Enterprise whose someway is connected to the creation of the Ark, and his plans involve manufacturing a conflict involving Humagears in order to make profit selling weapons, who also uses the Thousandriver to transform into a Kamen Rider? He's essentially Gai as he was originally introduced, though he's a lot more [[AffablyEvil friendly]] and less [[KickTheDog needlessly evil]] than Gai was. [[spoiler:Even his death basically comes from being beaten up by someone he gave a power-up to as part of their plans, like how Gai's plans with Zero-One [=MetalCluster=] Hopper and Vulcan Rampage ended for him.]]
* SanityHasAdvantages: Lyon is one of the few villains in ''Zero-One'' to not be dysfunctional, sociopathic or AxCrazy. The result is him winning for most of the film and steamrolling just about everything the heroes accomplished in the series by the end of the duology.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: A foreign CEO nobody in-show has ever heard of is responsible for the [[spoiler: creation of Kamen Rider Metsubojinrai]], which [[spoiler: wipes out most of the major characters and un-does most of the human/humagear relations the heroes spent all series striving to improve in the process]].
* {{Unperson}}: Both meta and in-universe. ''Vulcan & Valkyrie'' seems to forget about him in almost every way; the man neither named nor referenced by anyone whatsoever throughout the film.[[note]]Solds 9 and 20 come close during their introductory scene but blame ZAIA for "using them like tools" without elaborating. Even the {{Flashback}} of Kamen Rider Metsubojinrai's FinishingMove only shows Kamen Rider ZAIA and not the man under the armor.[[/note]] [[MeaningfulBackgroundEvent His mugshot plastered on a background billboard is the only hint he was ever around at all]]. This has the side-effect of [[spoiler: [[WhateverHappenedToTheMouse overshadowing KR Metsubojinrai's status as the side-effect of his tampering]]; emphasis put on the gestalt's GenghisGambit motive instead]].
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: He appointed Gai to his position as president of ZAIA Japan, giving him access to the Ark and allowing him to corrupt it.
* VillainHasAPoint:
** Even though it doesn't make him a good guy, when confronted by an outraged As about his end goal, Lyon correctly points out that, despite its great power, there are limits to ThePowerOfHate, proving why As will never be able to fully revive the Ark no matter how many times she tries. He then goes on to remind her of the Ark's previous successors - Aruto, Horobi, and S - having been able to overcome its corruptive influence with the strength of their hearts, coming to the logical conclusion that positive emotions like justice are more reliable in the long run.
** His vision of using Humagears as soldiers isn't necessarily a bad idea either. Having robot soldiers fight battles instead of human ones certainly help minimize the human cost of war and the Mass-Brain system keeps his Solds from developing sentience, averting any ethical quandaries that may come with it.
** During AIMS's press conference, Lyon correctly points out that AIMS having a [=MetsubouJinrai.net=] member on their team may skew their understanding of the situation, and that even if freed Humagears can still be influenced to harm humans, as even ''Series/KamenRiderZeroOne'' itself showed. He also implicitly alludes to the fact that Fuwa and Yaiba chose to ally with a murderous terrorist instead of punishing him. No wonder he was able to get [[VillainWithGoodPublicity the public on his side]].
* VillainWithGoodPublicity: Lyon has an excellent public image, in no small part due to his charisma and oratory abilities. When he crashes the AIMS press conference, he's able to deconstruct everything Yua is saying and get the public on ''his'' side by painting ZAIA as the victims, all while discrediting AIMS and Metsuboujinrai.net in the process.
* VillainousLegacy: [[spoiler:He dies, but not before bringing about the villain of the next film.]]
* VirtuousCharacterCopy: He's no hero, but he has many more admirable qualities than Gai Amatsu.
** Gai was an arrogant, smug control freak for most of ''Zero-One''. Lyon, if nothing else, acts cordial with everyone he speaks to and refrains from the KickTheDog behavior Gai engaged in.
** Gai was ultimately exposed as a hypocrite who didn't believe the pro-human rhetoric he espoused and only exploited it for profit. Lyon holds genuine pro-human viewpoints and part of the motive behind his plan is to have his unfeeling Solds replace human soldiers, minimizing the human cost of war.
** Gai corrupted the Ark with malice and exploited it and [=MetsubouJinrai.net=] for his own ends. Lyon outright rejects As's influence and has her killed, finding her malice to be too StupidEvil to be effective and favoring justice instead.
* WarForFunAndProfit: Intends to control the international military market by selling Solds to counter the threat of Metsuboujinrai.net he plans to reintroduce.

* DarkIsEvil: Essentially a black-colored Thouser and wants to rule over humanity.
* DualWield: Uses two dinosaur-based [=ZetsumeriseKeys=]; one based on a Triceratops (where Thouser’s Amazing Caucasus key would go) and one based on a Carnotaurus (where Awaking Arsino would go).
* EvilCounterpart: PaletteSwap aside, Zaia is essentially what Thouser would be if he was actually dead set on conquering the world through the power of artificial intelligence.
* FinishingMove:
** '''C.E.O. Destruction''': Zaia idly kicks his targets once, generating red gems after impact. This alone is powerful enough to block Jin and Horobi's finishers and deal enough damage to cancel their transformations.
* PaletteSwap: Aside from the undersuit, which is retooled from Ark-Zero's own suit, Zaia is essentially a black-colored Thouser with red eyes.
* PowerCopying: During his debut fight, Zaia is able to directly drain energy from other Riders though contact, augmenting his own attacks while weakening them: He strikes with purple energy when he drains Horobi, and then stikes with fire once he drains Jin Burning Falcon immediately afterward.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: The eyes of Zaia's helmet are red, and being a Kamen Rider, he's dangerous in his own right. Additionally, his TransformationSequence [[FreezeFrameBonus reveals]] the signature large red eye of all Ark Riders in his helmet before the visor slams down on top of it.
* SuperiorSuccessor: Recolored suit aside Zaia is shown to be more advanced and powerful than Thouser was. He can drain and use other Rider's data by touch alone without needing to use the Thousand Jacker to do and easily overpowers Burning Falcon and Sting Scorpion, both of which were shown to be on par with if not superior to Thouser.

For tropes about the users that make up the Rider, see [[Characters/KamenRiderZeroOneMetsubouJinraiNET Horobi, Naki, Jin, and Ikazuchi's folders]].
----
* AllForNothing: [[spoiler: Assuming Isamu's interpretation of the Rider's actions as a GenghisGambit is valid, its attempt to unite the races through a common enemy is nothing short of a bust. Its rampage ends up plummeting relations between man and machine to all-time lows and cementing the Minister of Defense as an Anti-A.I. activist. Worse still, it couldn't have brought true peace anyway - The ''Genms'' specials reveal that both the original Ark and impending KnightTemplar A.I. Zein were/are running amok]] - dooming its efforts from the start.
* AIIsACrapshoot: The second transformation into KR Metsubojinrai doesn't just fuse the members of Metsubojinrai, it outright absorbs them. What results is a MechanicalAbomination driven by the sole goal of eliminating everyone pertinent. [[KnightTemplar It's so dedicated to this one goal]] that to say it even has a will of its own is being generous.
* AllYourPowersCombined: This is a given, since the Rider is made possible by fusing the powers of Kamen Riders Horobi, Naki, Jin and Ikazuchi together, and it fights using all of their signature weapons.
* AndIMustScream: [[spoiler:Despite initial impressions, its users did ''not'' die when it went haywire. They're trapped in the delusional construct, with no hope of escape and in constant pain. And they scream, alright. The brief moments of lucidity for the Rider consist solely of them shrieking and sobbing in terror and grief]].
* TheBadGuyWins: [[spoiler:It destroyed ZAIA Japan, it destroyed Metsuboujinrai.net and it metaphorically destroyed A.I.M.S. by crushing their Rider Systems]].
* TheBerserker: [[spoiler:After transforming, Metsuboujinrai's users have their minds melted into a single feral mass obsessed with eliminating every side of conflict and obliterate both their original bodies and Lyon himself]].
* CharacterCatchphrase: "[Enemy Faction] will be extinct."
* CreateYourOwnVillain: [[spoiler:The lack of control in [=MetsubouJinrai=] combined with its savior complex and intense hatred of both ZAIA and [=MetsubouJinrai.net=] turns it into another threat to society, despite it being meant to save humanity instead]].
* CurbStompBattle: As is the case when a Kamen Rider makes their debut, [=MetsubouJinrai=] steamrolls through the Solds with incredible ease and makes ''very'' quick work of Lyon. The streak continues in ''Vulcan and Valkyrie,'' where it tosses the titular Riders around like ragdolls. It takes [[spoiler: Isamu transitioning to a new Rider System]] to finally end said streak.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Of all the modified Zero-One Driver users, [=MetsubouJinrai=] is the only one that is treated as a [[ShadowArchetype false form]] of Zero-Two, rather than Zero-One itself. However, it is also the only one used for good, rather than self-centered goals or outright villainy. [[spoiler:[[SubvertedTrope At least until it devours the personalities of its users]]]].
* DarkMessiah: In ''Vulcan & Valkyrie,'' the Rider's antagonism towards A.I.M.S. convinces the Solds that it's fighting for Humagear supremacy and [[spoiler: most of them rebel against Humanity in its name]], re-invigorating the racial tensions ''everyone involved'' was fighting to stop. Thankfully, [[spoiler: Fuwa and Sold 9 manage to talk them down]].
* DesignatedVillain: Invoked by Lyon, as he designed Kamen Rider [=MetsubouJinrai=] as a major villain that his Solds will take down to incentivize using Humagears as tools of war.
* DestructiveSavior: [[spoiler:It thinks that it will save the world by destroying both [=MetsubouJinrai=] and ZAIA, and starts by killing its users and blowing the latter's headquarters to bits. Of course, this doesn't actually help one bit]].
* EvenEvilHasStandards: During its [[spoiler: invasion of A.I.M.S. Headquarters]] in ''Vulcan & Valkyrie'', it ignores the human troopers entirely. This leads Yaiba to believe [[HopeSpot there's something left of the originals inside it]].
* TheExtremistWasRight: In the end, while it's plan isn't without hiccups, [[spoiler:it did effectively remove any threats to peace by destroying both [=MetsubouJinrai.net=] and ZAIA.]]
* FaceMonsterTurn: Is a walking one for Metsubojinrai at-large. While the four made the choice to transform into the Rider a second time [[spoiler: to push out the collective mass of enslaved Sold minds from the Key's thrall]], they certainly didn't expect the Mass Brain Key to [[spoiler: fuse with their data and devolve them into a KnightTemplar MechanicalAbomination]].
* FightingFromTheInside: Downplayed as [[spoiler: the members of Metsubojinrai are DeaderThanDead]], but there's moments where the screaming mass of collective anguish powering the Rider distracts it.
* FinalBoss: It's the last opponent in the saga of ''Zero-One'' overall, tying up the last of the loose ends left by the series's NoEnding.
* FinishingMove:
** '''Massbrain Impact''': After draining some of its target's power, [=MetsubouJinrai=] socks the opponent with a traditional Rider punch.
** '''[=MetsubouJinrai=] Impact''': [=MetsubouJinrai=] jumps up and delivers a traditional Rider kick as different parts of the group's logo appear behind it. [[spoiler:It is strong enough to instantly kill Lyon while he was transformed into Zaia]]. [[spoiler:It does the same again, this time against Fuwa using a DeadlyUpgrade. MutualKill ensues.]]
* {{Foil}}:
** To Horobi's Ark-Scorpion form. Ark-Scorpion is accessed via the Zetsumetsu Driver and Ark-Scorpion Progrisekey, the former being a jury-rigged variant of the Zero-One Driver. The form is also based off of Ark technology and was used by Horobi while being manipulated by As in a bid to create a new Ark. By contrast, Kamen Rider [=MetsubouJinrai=] is accessed through the use of another modified Zero-One Driver, but uses a Zetsumerisekey instead of a Progrisekey. Said form is also used by the members of [=MetsubouJinrai=].net, a group dedicated to the Ark before undergoing a HeelFaceTurn.
** To Kamen Rider Ragnarok from the [=StoneBot=] comic series. Ragnarok is [[spoiler: a sentient FailSafeFailure that stemmed from a natural phenomenon tripping up one of Zea's post-apocalypse protocols]] that wants to destroy all Kamen Riders and actively defies all aspects of its programming limitations to do so. Metsubojinrai by contrast is a TragicMonster that [[spoiler: Leon Arkland made deliberately to exploit EngineeredHeroics that inadvertently fused with the data of its Humagear components into a rogue entity]]. It's so deeply shackled to the KnightTemplar aspect of the Mass Brain Key's programming that [[AIIsACrapshoot calling it "sentient" at all is being generous]].
* FusionDance: Similar to Rider fusion forms like [[Series/KamenRiderBuild Cross-ZBuild]], [[Series/KamenRiderZiO Zi-O Trinity]], [[Series/KamenRiderW CycloneJokerXtreme]], and [[Series/KamenRiderDenO Climax Form]], [=MetsubouJinrai=] is made up of four different Riders. [[spoiler:''Unlike'' them, however, none of its users are in any sort of control while it is active. In fact, it's heavily implied that transforming has either ''killed'' them all, or at least trapped them within the Massbrain A.I.]].
* GenghisGambit: [[spoiler:Fuwa eventually determines that the reason behind its seemingly random attacks is to give humanity and Humagears a foe to unite against, brokering true peace between them in the process.]]
* GoneHorriblyRight: Twofold. KR Metsubojinrai does [[spoiler: fulfill the role of "designated enemy"]] Lyon wanted it to, but it [[spoiler: makes a mockery of of both him and the Solds he wanted to pit it against in the process]]; reducing Lyon's plans to militarize the conflict into a footnote. KR Metsubojinrai is also a too-successful attempt by the titular organization to co-opt the Mass Brain Key into a liberated weapon. Said Key also [[spoiler: absorbs ''them'' in the end]], attacking their friends and enemies in cruel mockery of what they stand for while what's left of them screams in terror and agony.
* GoodCounterpart: To Kamen Rider Eden. Both use modified variants of the Zero-One Driver, as well as Zetsumerisekeys to transform. However, whereas Eden was a villainous Kamen Rider (albeit a WellIntentionedExtremist and AntiVillain), [=MetsubouJinrai=] is a heroic Kamen Rider. [[spoiler:Inverted when the Mass Brain system melts the users' minds, creating an entity that has the exact same DestructiveSavior complex as Eden, only with no paradise and no HeelFaceTurn to undo the damage that's been caused]].
* GratuitousEnglish: Speaks only in English, courtesy of Blaise and Maynard Plant from MONKEY MAJIK.
* IAmLegion: Being made from four minds, it refers to itself as "we." [[spoiler:This, however, suggests its users have any sort of agency in its decisions while uploaded to it. [[AndIMustScream It's lying]]]].
* KnightTemplar: Because of the nature of the Mass Brain key, [[spoiler:Metsuboujinrai's users have their minds melted into a single simple-minded entity that only wants the mutual destruction of both sides, believing that it is saving the world]].
* MakeWayForTheNewVillains: [[spoiler:Kills off Lyon Arkland at the end of the first ''Zero-One Others'', before becoming the villain of the next film.]]
* MeaningfulName: The TransformationTrinket used is called the Massbrain "Zetsumetsurisekey". [[spoiler:No points on guessing what happened after Metsuboujinrai transformed.]]
* MechanicalAbomination: It's created from four androids who have achieved [[GrewBeyondTheirProgramming singularity]] and bears a passing resemblance to their Rider forms, which likewise operate like those used by the human characters. However, its movements, fighting style, and even its vocalizations are stiff and robotic, [[spoiler:and it's ''[[KnightTemplar completely insane]]'' in the kind of way only a "dumb" ArtificialIntelligence (like the Ark when it first launched) would be able to perceive its objectives]]. Both of these traits make it ''far'' more intimidating than other Riders on top of its strength, to both friend and foe alike.
* MindHive: On account of FusionDance. Horobi, Jin, Ikazuchi, and Naki are controlling Kamen Rider [=MetsubouJinrai=] simultaneously. [[spoiler:[[MindRape This is not a good thing]], as the [=MassBrain=] key turns them into a single unrecognizable entity hellbent on razing everything in its path, with none of the minds able to escape]].
* MythologyGag: The design of the [=MetsubouJinrai=] Driver and [[FusionDance the nature of Kamen Rider MetsubouJinrai]] serve as a clever CallBack to Kamen Rider Double. Even the [=MetsubouJinrai=] Driver when opened resembles the Double Driver.
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: The Rider is named after the organization [=MetsubouJinrai=].net. If you recall, the kanji translates to something along the lines of "thunderclap of death and destruction." Not exactly someone you want to make an enemy of, especially since they're a four-in-one Kamen Rider.
* PainfulTransformation: The drivers shock their users whenever they initiate the transformation. [[spoiler:This intense pain continues even while they are transformed, to the point where the only thing they can do after [=MetsubouJinrai=] seals off their means of escape is to scream. [[AndIMustScream Constantly]]]].
* {{Permafusion}}: He's a fusion of all four members of Metsuboujinrai, as his name implies. In a pretty dark twist to the trope, [[spoiler:Metsuboujinrai ''destroys'' the bodies of his components, forcing them to remain fused together as him, assuming there's anything left about them within him until the next film has Isamu sacrifice himself in order to destroy the fusion for good.]]
* PreAsskickingOneLiner: Not ten seconds after [=MetsubouJinrai=] is created do they state that they are going to destroy the Solds and Lyon. What follows afterwards is a CurbStompBattle.
* PurpleIsPowerful: Is almost entirely colored purple, and very capable in combat.
* TheRemnant: According to Lyon, [[spoiler:it represents what [=MetsubouJinrai.net=] ''used'' to be - highly destructive terrorists that want to kill all humans - rather than what they are now, and it demonstrates this through its "Kill Everyone" agenda, refusing to give its users a say in the matter]].
** Fuwa comes to see it the same way but for reversed reasons: seeing the Rider as a [[spoiler: living SuicideByCop that wants to be destroyed to broker true peace]].
* ReplacementFlatCharacter: It's similar to the pre-MotiveDecay Ark, being an implacable AI bent on ending conflict by any means necessary.
* SingleIssueWonk: Is obsessed with destroying every side of the Human/Humagear conflict and will constantly spell that out.
* SuicideByCop: Fuwa interprets this Rider's existence as [[spoiler: the collective suicide of the contained members to broker true peace between Humans and Humagears]].
* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: While the Rider removed what it saw as violent factions, it didn't actually bring forth peace. In fact, its rampage [[spoiler: gets a bunch of people killed, sways people against Humagears yet again and [[CreateYourOwnVillain has the Defense Secretary chomping at-the-bit for anti-A.I. legislation]] by the end of ''Vulcan & Valkyrie]]'', with an inconclusive speech from Yua being his only opposition.[[note]]Plus, ''Presidents'' reveals [[spoiler: The Ark is alive and well]], so it didn't even remove all threats to peace![[/note]]
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: As a rampant AI brought about by the members of [=MetsubouJinrai.net=], it's effectively the Ark without any purported malice.
* SkywardScream: Its debut film ends with a truly haunting one let out in the voices of its users [[spoiler:during a brief moment of lucidity after it destroys their original selves]].
* TragicMonster: The Rider's innate hostility to those it sees as perpetuating prejudice stems from mindless programming rather than malice. It's by no means a "quartet with unified will," being [[spoiler: a botched FusionDance between the minds of Metsubojinrai and the Mass Brain Key]]. Fuwa reasons it's [[spoiler: [[GenghisGambit deliberately playing the villain to unite the quarrelling factions against it to broker peace]]]], yet by the end of the second film all it's done is [[spoiler: generate ''more'' prejudice and put Humagears in the government's crosshairs]].
* WhamLine: After they [[spoiler:kill Lyon]], [=MetsubouJinrai=] states its next goal to a shocked Isamu, putting the Rider's goals in a much darker light and showing viewers that there's something very wrong with them:
-->[[spoiler:"[=MetsubouJinrai=] will be extinct."]]

[[caption-width-right:350:[=Sold20=] (left) and [=Sold9=] (right)]]
Mass-produced [=HumaGear=] soldiers serving Lyon in his quest for world domination. They have the same advances in [=HumaGear=] technology as their template Jin and transform directly into Sold Magia just by activating their Progrisekeys, sans [=Sold9=] and [=Sold20=] above, who use unique Dire Wolf and Serval Tiger Zetsumerisekeys to transform into their Sold Magia forms.

----
* ByThePowerOfGreyskull: They all say "Buso/Arm" before transforming into Sold Magia.
* CoDragons: [=Sold9=] and [=Sold20=] respectively are this to Lyon, never leaving his side for most of the movie. Notably, they're the only ones who use unique Zetsumerisekeys to transform instead of Progrisekeys previously used by Raiders.
** TheDragon: [=Sold404=] fashions himself as this to Metsuboujinrai later, leading a crusade against humankind in his name. [[spoiler:Averted when it turns out the Rider wasn't intending on bringing about Humagear supremacy.]]
* EliteMooks: They're this by design, superior models of Humagear that can fight battles in lieu of human soldiers. Solds 9 and 20 are this to the collective, thanks to the Zetsumerise Keys they use compared to everyone else's Raider Keys.
* EvilCounterpart: [=Sold9=] and [=Sold20=] are this to their spiritual predecessors Fuwa and Yua (who they share Key colours with), who spent the middle part of the series resisting the control of ZAIA Japan's president Gai, by means of being literal tools subservient to their ZAIA-based master Lyon. ''Kamen Rider Vulcan & Valkyrie'' later reveals that their Zetsumerisekeys would end up falling into the hands of the titular Riders, confirming this link.
* EvilKnockoff: While the hallmarks are there to be one to Jin (Their earpieces being the same and Progrisekeys chained to their arms), Lyon makes it explicit that they're the intended product, making Jin the "Good Knockoff" to the Solds, making this a SubvertedTrope in terms of their relation to Jin. Their Sold Magia forms, excluding the Dire Wolf and Serval Tiger Sold Magia, are this to the Raiders of the second Arc, being [=RaidRiser=]-less Raiders.
* FaceHeelTurn: During ''Vulcan & Valkyrie'', they see Kamen Rider Metsubojinrai as [[DarkMessiah a revolutionary leader]] and [[spoiler: rebel against humanity in its name]]. Thankfully, [[spoiler: 9 and Fuwa get through to them]] before they can do any real damage.
* FlatCharacter: The Solds themselves pretty much have no character to speak of, thanks to the Massbrain A.I. suppressing their individuality. After [[spoiler: their disconnection from Mass Brain]], they regain said individuality.
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:[=Sold20=] sacrifices herself to protect Yua from Kamen Rider [=MetsubouJinrai=]. She gets better, unlike [=MetsubouJinrai=].]]
* HiveMind: All Solds are directly linked to the Massbrain A.I., letting it make decisions for them and preventing them from [[GrewBeyondTheirProgramming reaching Singularity]], ensuring that they'll always be the perfect soldiers.
* MeaningfulName: The term Sold can stand for "soldier" or "sold", fitting their status as android soldiers to be sold as weapons.
* MoreExpendableThanYou: The Solds were built by ZAIA to be sold as expendable soldiers for conflicts all around the world.
* RidiculouslyHumanRobot: The parts identifying them as [=HumaGears=] are concealed in the same manner as Jin.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: [[spoiler:Once KR Metsuboujinrai murders Lyon, the freed Solds run away scared from the Kamen Rider, leaving all their TransformationTrickets behind.]]
* ShamingTheMob: Fuwa and 9 talk them down by [[spoiler: convincing them they're perverting Metsubojinrai's ''actual'' goal for true peace between the races]].
* SinisterScythe: For some unknown reason, the Scouting Panda Sold Magia welds Fighting Jackal's scythe instead of the Dead Monochrome.
* SuperiorSuccessor: As androids, they make perfect replacements for Fuwa and Yua as goons for ZAIA due to there being less hoops to jump through in order to bend them to their superior's will. Also, considering that they all based off of Jin's template, this makes them this trope to regular Humagears as well.
* WeaksauceWeakness: They're all reliant on the Massbrain A.I. for collective decision-making, so the moment KR Mestuboujinrai severs their connection to it, they immediately become aimless, sitting ducks.
* WhatMeasureIsANonHuman: 9 and 20 debate this at the start of ''Vulcan & Valkyrie.''
