Cherubimon's grievances regarding the unfairness are all valid concerns, which made his fellow angels (onscreen) ignorance of the matter all the more infuriating for him. Suddenly, why there would even be a conflict between the two digimon types in the first place along with Cherubimon being corrupted suddenly makes a lot more sense from a meta perspective.
