One of the most famous families in Royal Woods, known for creating people with strong Archetypes.
----
* AdaptationalBadass: Just about all of them have Archetypes that are extremely powerful and versatile, and the older siblings are famous all around the world as heroes.
* BadassFamily: As a direct side effect of the above, they're renowned for producing people with strong Archetypes, the older sisters being famous superheroes (literally in Lori's case).
* QuirkyHousehold: The more things change, the more they stay the same, especially when superpowers are involved.

!! The Loud Siblings

The current generation of the Loud family, composed of ten girls and one boy.
----
* ActionGirl: The older sisters are all capable of kicking ass when necessary.
* AdaptationalCurves: The older sisters are notably more endowed and shapely than their canon counterparts.
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: The sisters are quite a bit nicer to Lincoln than canon, though they can still be rough around the edges.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Even without the AdaptationalNiceGuy treatment, the sisters are pretty nice people. And given they're also some of the stronger heroes present in Royal Woods, crossing them isn't a good idea.
* BeautyEqualsGoodness: The older sisters are pretty easy on the eyes, and they're all strictly on the side of good.
* BigBrotherInstinct: The Loud siblings always have each other back no matter what. Though the sisters are especially protective of their only brother. Even when most people think the worst of him and his parents have no idea what do to about him, not one of his sisters thinks for a second that he's a harem-seeking pervert like his Archetype's name suggests.
* BrotherSisterTeam: If Lincoln teams up with any of his sisters, this trope applies. So far, Lori and Leni have had a turn.
* ClingyJealousGirl: Most of the older sisters prefer to have their brother within arms reach at all times and don't like sharing him, even with each other.
* CoolBigSis: The older sisters are all supportive of Lincoln even after his Archetype is revealed, and they also happen to be some of the most popular heroes in Royal Woods.
* CuddleBug: Lori, Leni, Luna, and Lynn Jr. all really like hugging their brother.
* MarshmallowHell: A frequent consequence Lincoln faces as a result of the previously mentioned AdaptationalCurves and CuddleBug tropes.
* MsFanservice: The older sisters, as a result of AdaptationalCurves, are all notably gorgeous, with some people being unable to not notice their bodies.
* SuperFamilyTeam: Lori, Leni, and Lynn work together to stop a Husk attack during the ActionPrologue.

!!!Archetype: Harem King
The middle child of the Loud family, and also the only son. The day of his Indexing turns his life upside down, but even so, he trudges forward, undeterred by society's scorn.

His Archetype, "Harem King", when taken at face value, sounds nothing short of useless, but in fact, it has great potential.
----
* ZeroPercentApprovalRating: The girl that was declared to be a Dark Lord doesn't have half the bad rap that Lincoln gets, since he has an until now unheard of Archetype and most adults believe that it means he's a pervert who will try to corrupt their daughters. This changes, at least in regards to his classmates, after he helps Leni take down a lot of Husks and a Tainted.
* ThirteenIsUnlucky: He's thirteen years old when his Indexing reveals his unfortunate Archetype.
* AbominationAccusationAttack: After his Archetype is discovered, the entire world seems intent on letting him know that they think he's a hopeless, corrupting pervert, something that he has to deal with on a daily basis.
* AccidentalPervert: If Lincoln gets a perverted moment, you can bet it's not something he intended.
* ActionSurvivor: He hadn't unlocked Genre Shift during Whitney's attack and his venture into a burning building, meaning he had only his wits to help him during said events.
* AllEncompassingMantle: Downplayed with the cape he gets from Leni. While not big enough to cover his body, it's still big enough for him to hide in when people start throwing shade at him during Lori's patrol.
* AllOfTheOtherReindeer: He's severely bullied at the academy, despite having several accomplishments under his belt.
* AllYourPowersCombined: Lincoln's 'Genre Shift' ability doesn't just let him access the powers of 'one' person he shares a bond with. When he's in danger and worried about Luna and Sam, he's able to Genre Shift with both of them at once.
* BigSisterWorship: Has a very high opinion of his eldest sister, Lori. This extends somewhat to his other older sisters as well, because they use their powers to help people.
* BlackSheep: Instead of being born with an obviously useful Archetype, like his sisters, he's born with an unknown Archetype whose mere name inspires people to hate him. It's Downplayed, however, in that his family doesn't hate him for this fact.
* BornUnlucky: Since Archetypes are granted the moment someone's born, Lincoln was practically doomed to become a social pariah once his Archetype became known. Even if that hadn't happened, he would've still be born the middle child of a famous family that's known to breed strong Archetypes, which couldn't have done his self esteem any good.
* BullyMagnet: Chandler pestered him constantly when they were in middle school, and when his Archetype is revealed, Ronnie Anne joins the ring and proves to be an even worse bully.
* CassandraTruth: No matter how many times he tells people he's not a hopeless pervert as his Archetype implies, TheyJustDontGetIt.
* ChasteHero: It's made clear early in the story that, while Lincoln can have thoughts once in a while, he keeps them to himself and romance isn't one of his main priorities. Of course, part of the reason he's this is to try convince people he's not the pervert his Archetype implies, to mixed results.
* ChickMagnet: Despite people thinking that his Archetype giving him this power, him having multiple girls interesting in him in one way or another is all him and not any supernatural ability.
* DirtyKid: Averted. Despite what his Archetype and certain out-of-context moments may lead you to believe, Lincoln's a ChasteHero.
* ClassicalAntiHero: Lincoln constantly, internally beats himself up over being born with such an unfortunate Archetype, which isn't helped in the slightest with the world at large agreeing with him and being all too happy to tell him he sucks.
* HaremPowered: Harem King is an odd mix. On the one hand, Lincoln has the ability to empower the girls he bonds with for a moment, meaning he empowers the harem rather than the other way around. However, once Genre Shift is unlocked, the trope is PlayedStraight, as Lincoln can gain the powers of a particular Archetype, as long as he has bonded with someone with a Combat Archetype.
* IJustWantToBeSpecial: Lincoln Loud would have liked to have been a superhero like Lori, but just wanted his Archetype to be anything but a Bystander. After he finds out his Archetype though...
* KeepingSecretsSucks: Some of Lincoln's issues with Ronnie Anne could be cleared up quickly if he told her about his Genre Shift power, but that would also require telling her about how his powers actually work and he's afraid should that get out he'd be surrounded by people left and right trying to 'bond' with him solely for the power he could give them.
* LogicalWeakness: Genre Shift lets Lincoln take on the powers of a girl's Archetype, but he can only do it if he shares a Bond with the girl in question. So when he tries to use it with Stella, who he not only just met, Cloudcuckoolander but exists on an entirely different wavelength, the attempt fails.
* MagikarpPower: Harem King starts as nothing short of useless since it's main ability, SuperEmpowering, doesn't work on Lincoln himself. It eventually grows stronger when Genre Shift is unlocked, but even that has its own quirks.
* MeaningfulName: Lincoln might not like his Archetype, but it's nothing if not appropriate considering he already has multiple girls expressing strong feelings for him.
* MortonsFork: Discovering "Genre Shift" has led him into one of these; he can either keep its existence to himself, and allow people to further give him crap for being a supposed pervert, or he can reveal it... and find himself dealing with one FalseFriend after another who only hang with him to gain power.
* NotHelpingYourCase: He's not a pervert, but the way Harem King works, as well Lincoln's own shortsightedness, don't give people much room to think otherwise. Going to the gym closet with Stella is only one example.
* NotWhatItLooksLike: He sometimes says this whenever he's caught in a moment that could be interpreted wrong. Which is often.
* ObliviousToLove: Ronnie Anne doesn't hide her crush on him very well, but Lincoln doesn't get it anyway.
* PowerCopying: Lincoln's Archetype isn't only about powering up others. His Genre Shift ability allows him to temporarily take on characteristics of another Archetype of someone he shares a strong bond with. His first use of the ability with Leni granted him the powers of the Magical Girl Archetype and turns him into a Tuxedo Mask Expy. His next use of this power shows that he can Genre Shift with more than one at the same time when he does it with Luna and Sam, and can do it without being in close proximity when he does it without either girl being in shouting range of him.
* ThePowerOfFriendship / ThePowerOfLove / ThePowerOfTrust: A mix of all three is the best way to describe how Genre Shift works; Lincoln needs to have an established relationship with someone, which normally involves gaining their trust, and the more the duo know and trust each other, the better the chances of Genre Shift activating.
* RoyaltySuperpower: Averted. Despite his Archetype being called Harem King, Lincoln isn't of royal blood, and the powers it brings don't make him resemble a king either.
* TagalongKid: Serves as this for Lori and Leni during their patrols, and when Luna takes him along with Sam as they deal with some husks. And each time, he unlocks more facets of his Archetype.
* SingleSpecimenSpecies: He's the only person in Royal Woods, and perhaps the world, to have "Harem King" as his Archetype.
* SuperEmpowering: The primary ability of his Archetype. The ability to power up anyone he shares a strong bond with.
* SuperPowerLottery: Though he certainly doesn't feel like it most of the time with the stigma attached to it and the requirements to even use his abilities, Harem King and his Genre Shift ability has the potential to give Lincoln access to the Archetype every person he shares a strong connection with. Granting him the ability to use who knows how many different powers in the future.
** Even more so with the discovery that he can Genre Shift with more than one person at the same time.
* SupportPartyMember: If one's to consider Genre Shift a different ability, then vanilla Harem King works like this: With it, Lincoln can empower the girls he bonds with for a small moment, making them much stronger than they normally would be.
* UnluckyEverydude: Not only is he stuck in the middle of a famous family, but his Archetype gives him attention for all the wrong reasons, and that's without pointing out the constant chaos he finds himself in.
* UnwantedHarem: There are many things Lincoln wants to achieve in the story, but getting a harem isn't one of them.
* WhatKindOfLamePowerIsHeartAnyway: Just about nobody, not even Lincoln, takes Harem King seriously at face value.
* WeUsedToBeFriends: With Ronnie Anne. The two were childhood friends until his Indexing revealed his unfortunate Archetype, driving a wedge between the two that neither has done a good job at dealing with.
* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: His family, or at least his sisters, tells him this constantly, but the lesson rarely sticks since just about everybody wants him to believe the opposite.
** Diablo is a sinister version of this. The demon can sense the power of Lincoln's archetype to the degree he openly says the likes of Lori or Leni, who are respectively some of the most powerful examples of the archetype in the world pale in comparison to their brothers...which is why he wants to possess Lincoln.

!!!General
* HourOfPower: While a time limit isn't known, the transformations aren't permanent.
* TookALevelInBadass: Every arc he spends with one of his sisters, he finds out something new about his powers
** With Lori he discovers his initial SuperEmpowering ability.
** When Leni is threatened by enemies, he unlocks his Genre Shift.
** His night out with Luna and Sam shows his he can Genre Shift with more than one person simultaneously
** When Luan asks him to Genre Shift with her, he discovers he doesn't have to be in a stressful situation and can use it at any time, however all it does is change his appearance. He doesn't actually gain any of the powers of the archetype
* TraumaticSuperpowerAwakening: Every time a new facet of Harem King appears, it's usually in the middle of a dangerous situation.
* WrongContextMagic: Even for the kind of setting we're in, Harem King is bizarre: For one, it not only empowers whoever the user touches, but it also allows the user to transform into different forms related to whoever is targeted for it.

!!!Tuxedo Linky
!!!Genre Shift target: Leni (MagicalGirl)
* AppropriatedAppellation: "Tuxedo Linky" is just what Leni calls this form when it's first created. After the fight at the mall is over, people muse about the name until Lincoln himself admits he enjoys it.
* BadassCape: Has one, it is also where he gets his exploding roses from.
* BouquetToss: A bouquet of roses is among the objects he takes out to fight The Corrupted One. Naturally, he throws them at him, revealing them to be explosive.
* ClassyCane: This forms weapon of choice, also lends itself to some CaneFu.
* SharpDressedMan: When Lincoln Genre Shifts with Leni and takes on the powers of a Magical Girl he gains the typical Tuxedo Mask outfit including a nice suit, and not one girl who has seen a picture of him in it can say he didn't look good in it.
* SomethingAboutARose: One of the many objects he uses to fight against the Corrupted One is a bouquet of roses. A bouquet of exploding roses.

!!!Rocker Lincoln
!!!Genre Shift target: Luna and Sam (Battle Idol)
* DarkIsNotEvil: Lincoln's guitar is black and covered in skull motif's and his outfit in this form makes him look like an 80's punk. He's still the same nice kid.
* DreadfulMusician: Somewhat downplayed, but his guitar doesn't play music.
* ElementalPowers: It can, however, kill things with fire, ice and lighting.
* FireIceLightning: These are the three main elements the form can use, whether as part of an attack or by empowering his allies.
* InstrumentOfMurder: Lincoln's guitar also works to bludgeon Husks to death.
* MusicalAssassin: Extra focus on the assassin part.
* NoNameGiven: Unlike Tuxedo Linky, this form isn't given a name during it's short tenure.
* ScaryImpracticalArmor: Downplayed. The Genre Shift makes Lincoln look like a quintessential rocker, which includes spikes on his clothes so big that he wonders how he was able to not stab himself by accident.
* SuperEmpowering: Depending on which string Lincoln plucks he can grant elemental damage to his allies.

!!!Exorcist Lincoln
!!!Genre Shift target: Luan (Excorcist)
* BadassPreacher: He's an exorcist dressed more like he's ready to shoot spirits rather than banish them.
* BadassLongcoat: His outfit in this form is primarily a long black trenchcoat
* PermaStubble: He develops a case of this when he shifts into this form.
* SilverBullet: His belt contains these.

!!!Archetype: Superhero
The oldest sister of the batch, and the oldest Loud child in general. She's a famous superhero who serves as one of the main patrollers against TheSoulless.
Her Archetype is "Superhero", which gives her a laundry list of superpowers.
----
* ActionHero: She's the most recurring superhero against the Husks, and she's not afraid to get her hands dirty if necessary.
* ClarkKenting: Attempted before the story, though it didn't work since people were quick to notice the resemblance between both her personas.
* ClingyJealousGirl: Lori has started behaving this way towards Lincoln after their outing together. Like objecting when Leni hugged Lincoln during a morning, breaking up a sparring match between Lynn and Lincoln, and interrupting Lucy when she was sucking Lincoln's blood. Also, she isn't that keen on Carol trying to get closer to Lincoln.
* ComboPlatterPowers: All Archetypes are guilty of this to some extent, but Lori's Archetype, in particular, seems to create new powers at random.
* DoesNotKnowHisOwnStrength: Lori occasionally has this problem when she's not focusing, like when Carol asked for a hug while they were both drunk and had to be hospitalized in the aftermath, or when she crushed a doorknob while having a bit of a breakdown about thinking lustful thoughts about Lincoln.
* Expy: The description of her costume and main powerset brings to mind Power Girl.
* EyeBeams: No surprise that she has them. She uses them to reduce to dust the invisible tainted.
* FlyingBrick: As befitting someone with the Superhero Archetype.
* FlightStrengthHeart: The former two are her most basic abilities and her most used among her toolbox of specific powers. The "Heart" part is represented by the plethora of other, situational powers that she has.
* ForgotAboutHerPowers: Trope since she has so many with many of them incredibly situational, so it's pretty common of her to forget about her more obscure and unused abilities, such as Telekinesis.
* MistakenIdentity: She was once confused for an evil doppelganger of her called Irol, which also lead her to be banned from a country due to said misconception.
* NewPowersAsThePlotDemands: Lori is somewhat of a parody of gold and silver age superheroes, as she has multiple super-specific superpowers for any number of occasions much like Franchise/Superman during the earlier comics.
* SecretIdentity: Used to have one, High Card. She abandoned it presumably because people figured out the young blonde buxom superheroine with flight and laser beam eyes is the same person as the young buxom blonde who graduated from Archetype Academy with a display of flight and laser beam eyes.
* SuperSenses: She has access to XRayVision, infrared, SuperHearing.
* SuperSpeed: She can travel miles in the blink of an eye. Handy for helping those in need, and for kissing her brother on the cheek without him even realizing.

!!!Archetype: MagicalGirl
The second oldest sister, and a MagicalGirl who works as a supporter.

She's also the top Magical Girl in Royal Woods.
----
* AdaptationalCurves: While all the older Loud sisters have this, Leni is noted to be the one most effected by this trope.
* IDidWhatIHadToDo: Leni isn't proud to admit it, but she's the reason Magical Girl types in her city are more careful when using their powers and stopped fighting each other. She forced herself to make them all afraid of her and how far she was willing to go to make them behave.
* CuddleBug: She really likes to give hugs. Especially her little brother.
* LovedByAll: She's the most popular magical girl in the city.
* MagicWand: Being a Magical Girl naturally this is her weapon.
* MercurysWings; Can make wings sprout on her shoes in order to fly.

!!!Archetype: Battle Idol.
The middle of the older sisters, who's currently on tour with Sam. After the events of the mall arc, she comes back to pay her family a visit.
----
* AloofBigSister: Subverted. Lincoln worried that she would become this after becoming so famous along with Sam, but once she comes to visit, she's just as nice as he remembers.
* CrazyPrepared: She has a statement about how Lori is a great sister prepared on a card for Lincoln to read in case he says her name, she hears it and comes rushing to take him away from her.
* FreudianSlip: She says she's here to visit her family after she almost says she's just here to see Lincoln.
* InstrumentalWeapon: Axe isn't just a nickname for Luna's guitar. As a Battle Idol, her instrument also doubles as a weapon.
* RedOniBlueOni: The blue oni to Sam's red oni.

!!!Archetype: Exorcist
The fourth oldest of the older sisters, and one of two currently studying at Archetype Academy. She wants to make people laugh, but her Archetype means very little funny business for her.

----
* AdaptationalAngstUpgrade: Like Lincoln, she's stuck with an Archetype that gives her nothing but trouble, in her case making her often take situations where people are too scared to laugh at her jokes.
* BadassPreacher: While she's not as "flashy" as Lynn, Lori, or Leni, Luan's abilities as an Exorcist are of a sufficient tier that she's been on the front lines of and responsible for fighting many extremely powerful paranormal entities seeking to take over the world.
* BigBrotherInstinct: She wasn't happy with Ronnie Anne with how she was treating Lincoln, and if Lincoln hadn't insisted otherwise she would have done something about it.
* BlessedWithSuck: She hates her Archetype. She wants to be a comedian, but her Archetype and the job that goes with it means she's forced to spend her time with people too worried about being haunted to laugh at her jokes. She's also one of the most powerful Exorcists active, so she's has the additional feeling of pressure that if she took on less responsibilities, something bad could happen if she's not there.
* BlindedByRage: [[spoiler:When she's got the seals ready to forcibly put Diablo back in his can and free Sid from her DemonicPossession, Diablo despite being tied down goads her by taunting and threatening that this is only a temporary setback and that he'll come for her brother again when he's loose. Luan gets so pissed that she gets too close while trying to attack him to shut him up, and she puts herself in range to get slashed by a BFS Diablo summons thanks to Sid's Assassin Archetype and cut himself loose due to the seal weakening. If Charlie hadn't pulled her back she would have been fatally impaled.]]
* HollywoodExorcism: Rather than have the power of someone above compel the spirit to leave, Luan normally talks to the spirits in order to help them ascend to the afterlife. Though sometimes she has to get violent.
* HolyWater: She carries a vial of this with her, probably just in case she gets attacked by ghosts, a very real danger in her profession. Luckily, the ghost she deals with in her introduction is friendly, so she doesn't need to use it.
* ImprobableAge: She's basically a bonafide ghostbuster despite still going to the academy.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: Not only does she messes up Lincoln's chance to join a club, but the joke she makes (about social acceptance) is one that Lincoln repurposes to further put himself down.
* LamePunReaction: If she's not met with disapproving silence, she's met with this. And arguably, she probably enjoys it, since at least it means someone heard her joke.
* LaughingAtYourOwnJokes: She normally does this after saying a pun, which is often. Unfortunately, she's more often than not the only one actually laughing.
* Psychometry: Her Archetype allows her to do this by rubbing her hands and touching an object. She uses this to see the past of the ghost she meets at the beginning of her arc.
* SadClown: She wishes to be a comedian, but the nature of her Archetype means she more often than not is found in situations where nobody's laughing.
* WrittenInAbsence: She's not around to see Luna because she's apparently ghost hunting.
* WhoYouGonnaCall: As an Exorcist, Luan is frequently called to deal with ghosts haunting certain locations in order to... well, exorcise them.

!!!Archetype: Martial Artist
The youngest of the older sisters, and another student at Archetype Academy.

Her Archetype is "Martial Artist", which gives her abilities related to Aura.
----
* AnimeChineseGirl: She checks many of the traits; she has odango hair, wears a UsefulNotes/Qipao during hero work, is a Martial Artist
* AuraVision: She can see a person's aura without equipment.
* BeyondTheImpossible: Lisa made her training dummies stated to be "unbreakable", created from an alloy forged from the strongest known metals across several dimensions, and then had them runically enchanted by a colleague to protect them from breaking under brute force. Lynn broke them all anyways.
* CovertPervert: Is implied to be pretending to teach Lincoln submission holds as an excuse to hold him.
* KiManipulation: Lynn has the ability to manipulate her life energy for a variety of uses.
* SupernaturalMartialArts: Martial Artist not only gives Lynn greater physical strength and martial arts, but she also AuraVision and KiManipulation.

!!!Archetype: Unknown, presumed to be Vampire
The oldest of the younger set of sisters.

While her Archetype is unknown, several hints imply it's related to vampires.
----
* CuteLittleFangs: Has these as a side effect of her unknown Archetype.
* PrecociousCrush: Has one on her brother.
%%* FriendlyNeighborhoodVampire

!!!Archetype: Unknown, presumed to be MagicalGirl.
One of two twins, and a member of the younger sisters.

While her Archetype is unknown, she believes there are inklings to her being a MagicalGirl. The rest of her family has doubts on that.
----
* AdorablyPrecociousChild: She's taking steps to learn the ropes of a Magical Girl, despite the fact that she's too young to know what her Archetype is.
* MagicalGirl: What she thinks her Archetype will be. Almost no one aside from Leni believes that to be the case.
* PrincessPhase: She's currently in hers, and others believe it might be a hint as to what her Archetype might be.

!!!Archetype: Unknown Plumber-based Archetype
Lola's twin, and a member of the younger sisters.

Her unknown Archetype has plumber traits.
----
* FunSize: How she's introduced.

!!!Archetype: Unknown
The second youngest of the younger set of sisters, and yet the smartest of them.

She's also a member of the Archetype Academy school board, who's one of the few reasons Lincoln even managed to remain there.

While her Archetype is unknown, she believes it might be "Genius."
----
* ChildProdigy: Not only is she an inventor, but also a Archopsychologist. Deconstructed a little in chapter 25 when she refuses to admit her hypothesis about her brother's Archetype could be wrong. Showing that while she might be a genius, she still has the mentality of a stubborn little kid.
* ForegoneConclusion: She doesn't feel the need to find out what her Archetype is since she feels it's painfully obvious she's a genius and doesn't care for some artifact telling her who she's supposed to be, even advising Lincoln to feel the same when worried about his own.
* ImprobableAge: Despite being four-years-old she, somehow, is a member of the Archetype Academy school board.
* SitcomArchNemesis: Seems to have one in Ernesto, to whom she is the "second-greatest mind involved in the study of Archetypes in the Americas".

!!!Archetype: Unknown
The youngest of the younger set of sisters, and the youngest Loud child in general.
----
%%* BabiesMakeEverythingBetter
* JabbaTableManners: She makes an absolute mess when she sees Lincoln.

!! Other Family Members

!!!Archetype(s): Unknown
The parents of the Loud children.
----
* ParentsAsPeople: They want what's best for their children, they really do, but they just have no way of processing the current situation, especially with Lincoln's Harem King.
