[[folder:Pony Tsunotori]]
!!Pony Tsunotori
[[quoteright:125:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pony_tsunotori_anime.png]]
Class 1-B’s Class President, a girl with horns and horse-like legs who transferred to U.A. from America. Born and bred in Gotham City, and proud of it.
----
* AdaptationalBackstoryChange: Pony was raised in Gotham City.
* AdaptationalEarlyAppearance: First shows up a little before the Sports Festival in this story.
* AdaptationNameChange: Pony is apparently just her nickname in this story.
* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: She is obviously far more annoyed and angry at Monoma taking advantage of her still shaky grasp of Japanese. This along with the hard life of growing up in Gotham makes her give a fiery speech about how living there makes her perfect for the position of class president.
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul: "Midoriya and the Motley Crew" has her develop a friendship with Midoriya and Ashido from being grouped together in the Alien Studies class.
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: Pony's a Metahuman in this story.
* ADayInTheLimelight: The first half of the aptly-named side story, "Pony Tsunotori Goes America All Over Everybody's Ass."
* ClassRepresentative: Is elected class president of 1-B at the end of the side story in chapter 13.
* GratuitousJapanese: Slips into this occasionally as a means of showcasing her trouble with speaking the language.
* HornedHumanoid: Has two huge horns atop her head.
* HypocriticalHumor: Gets on Monoma's case for criticizing Gotham despite openly calling it a terrible place to live, claiming that you can't criticize Gotham if you've never lived there.
* MeaningfulName: The first kanji in her family name means "horn".
* OnlyKnownByHerNickname: In this story, Pony is just a nickname.
* TheSixthRanger: To [[ComicBook/GothamAcademy the Detective Club]].

[[folder:Neito Monoma]]
!!Neito Monoma
[[quoteright:160:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/neito_monoma_anime.png]]
A smug student in Class 1-B who competes with Pony for the position of class president.
----
* AdaptationalEarlyAppearance: First shows up a little before the Sports Festival in this story.
* AdaptationalJerkass: In the manga proper, Monoma only messed with Pony’s understanding of English to insult Class 1-A through her. Here, it seems to be a thing he usually does for fun. Needless to say, Pony hates it. However, the picture of them shaking hands at the end of their side story implies that he gets over it.
* TheChessmaster: Class 1-B decided to have a rock-paper-scissors tournament to pick their class president, but when it was down to just Pony and Monoma, Monoma-knowing he couldn't beat her-got everyone to support the idea of the two of them giving speeches for why they should each be president, knowing fully well that Pony wouldn't be able to give a good speech because of her lack of Japanese fluency (didn't work, though).
* TheCorrupter: Without Kendou to get in his way, Monoma is getting the class to hate 1-A as much as him.
* ForWantOfANail: Because Kendou isn't in 1-B in this story, Monoma has an easier time of getting the class to hate 1-A.
* SmugSnake: Just like in canon.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Yui Kodai]]
!!Yui Kodai
[[quoteright:160:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yui_kodai_anime.png]]
A stone-faced Class 1-B girl.
----
* AdaptationalEarlyAppearance: First shows up a little before the Sports Festival in this story.
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul: Thanks to Kendou being in 1-A in this story, the two of them don't end up becoming friends like in canon.
** She also becomes friends with Midoriya and Ashido, thanks to being grouped with them in the Alien Studies class.
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: Yui's a Metahuman in this story.
* EmotionlessGirl: She's very stoic and rarely if ever seems to display any emotions.
* InSpiteOfANail: Despite the two of them not being in the same class anymore, Kendou and Yui still end up becoming close friends.
* TheQuietOne: She rarely ever speaks and mostly blinks and nods her head.
* TheStoic: She almost never emotes.
* SugarAndIcePersonality: Yui is largely distant from others, but as shown through her interactions with Midoriya, she's more than capable of acting kindhearted.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Ibara Shiozaki]]
!!Ibara Shiozaki
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ibara_shiozaki_anime.png]]

A devoutly religious student from Class 1-B.
----
* AdaptationalEarlyAppearance: First properly shows up a little before the Sports Festival in this story.
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: Ibara's canonical Quirk is represented as a magical ability in this story while her Quirk is a separate power.
* ComboPlatterPowers: In addition to her canonical powers, [[AdaptationalSuperpowerChange which are now a magical ability]], Ibara has a separate Quirk of her own.
* DemonicPossession: It's heavily implied that Ibara's body is possessed by something.
* EarlyBirdCameo: Ibara briefly shows up in the Christmas special.
* ExpressiveHair: Ibara's hair seems to have a mind of its own. This is likely how whatever's possessing her communicates with the world.
* FlowerMotif: Her Quirk in this story is tied to roses and her costume is fashioned with rose petals.
* MeaningfulName: In regards to both of her powers; "Ibara" means "thorn", which relates to her magic, and "-bara" means "rose", which relates to her Quirk.
* PlantHair: Her DemonicPossession gives her this.
* PrehensileHair: Also a result of her DemonicPossession.
* ShipTease: With Tokoyami.
* TokenReligiousTeammate: Even more pronounced than in canon since, in this story, Christianity is seen as a dead religion.
* WhatKindOfLamePowerIsHeartAnyway: While Ibara still has her PrehensileHair as a magical ability, her Quirk in this story, "Smell the Roses", just lets her make things smell like roses and always smell good.
** HeartIsAnAwesomePower: However, the girls of 1-A see it as an InUniverse example of this because of how she always smells good, with Ochaco even calling it "the greatest Quirk in human history".

[[folder:Kinoko Komori]]
!!Kinoko Komori
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mha_kinoko_komori.jpg]]

A highly eccentric magic user from Class 1-B who's obsessed with her image.
----
* AdaptationalEarlyAppearance: First properly shows up a little before the Sports Festival in this story.
* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: To an extent. Kinoko's personality is largely in line with her depiction in the Joint Training arc, if an exaggeration of it, but even that was a departure from her ShrinkingViolet depiction in earlier chapters. It was never made clear if it was a case of off-screen CharacterDevelopment or CharacterizationMarchesOn, but this story treats the eccentric Kinoko as the default Kinoko.
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: Not only is Kinoko a magic user in this story, but her power now gives her the ability to [[MookMaker summon mushroom familiars]].
* CharacterExaggeration: Kinoko's self-confidence and quirkiness from canon is blown up to make her a LargeHam {{Narcissist}}.
* DidWeJustHaveTeaWithCthulhu: The Christmas special shows Kinoko casually hanging out with ComicBook/SwampThing.
* EarlyBirdCameo: Kinoko briefly shows up in the Christmas special.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Kinoko's introduction into the story has her appearing in a rain of candy while introducing herself as a Super Star. It more or less says everything about her character.
* ExoticEyeDesigns: Her eyes are shaped like shiitake mushrooms.
* GreenThumb: Mushroom-specific.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Kinoko's a full-blown {{Narcissist}} in this story, even having her own face on her costume.
* LargeHam
* TheGhost: Kinoko was briefly mentioned in chapter nine, but she didn't properly show up until a little over a year later.
* MeaningfulName: "Kinoko" is the Japanese word for "mushroom".
* MookMaker: Kinoko mostly uses her magic to summon talking mushroom familiars.
* {{Narcissist}}: Kinoko's self-confidence from canon is blown up to make her one of these. Her costume even has a picture of her own face on it.
* PinkMeansFeminine: Her costume has a lot of pink on it.
* PintsizedPowerhouse: She's incredibly short to the point of using a stool to make her introduction, and she's an incredibly powerful magic user. The same applies to her "Shroom Buddy" familiars.
* ShipTease: With Iida.
* ShoutOut: In chapter twenty, Kinoko says that Bakugou is [[Film/SpyKids "full of shiitake mushrooms"]].
* VerbalTic: Her familiars all end their sentences with "kino".
[[/folder]]

!!Support Department, Class 1-H
[[folder:Alexis Lois "Lexi" Luthor]]
!!Alexis Lois "Lexi" Luthor
The spunky heir to [=LexCorp=], one of the largest conglomerates in the world, and the granddaughter of the infamous Lex Luthor. What she lacks in apparent concern for her family business she makes up for with her genius intellect.
----
* ActuallyPrettyFunny: She finds it ''hilarious'' when Bakugou calls her "Baldy", as she'd never been called that before. She literally doubles over and starts rolling on the floor laughing, forcing Mercy to pick her up and carry her out the door as she continues laughing.
* AndNowForSomeoneCompletelyDifferent: She takes over narration for half of Chapter 7 in the first-person as opposed to the story's usual third-person narration.
* AdaptationDyeJob: Has dark red hair as opposed to her orange hair from the cartoon.
* ArmorPiercingResponse: Midoriya initially refuses to interact with Lexi because he found her suspicious and just wanted to get home. He freezes when she alludes to her knowledge of what he is.
-->'''Lexi:''' ''[snowing in the middle of winter]'' I'd just like to say that I really love your outfit. ''[Midoriya rolls his eyes]'' You must be pretty tough to not be affected by this. ''[Midoriya ignores her]'' Kind of a light outfit, though. It's almost zero degrees out, yet you're walking around like it's fall. ''[continues to ignore her]'' You must be pretty tough to not be affected by this. ''[still ignoring her]'' Or maybe it's just a perk of your ''special'' biology.\
'''Midoriya:''' ''[stopping]'' [[OhCrap What?]]\
'''Lexi:''' Don't look so surprised. It's common for people like you to have a bit of an immunity to the elements. Oh, wait, that's stereotyping, isn't it? I'm terribly sorry, I'm just nervous. After all, it's not every day you get to talk to an alien.
* BadassNormal: Technically averted, like most people she has a quirk. However, her quirk does not help her in a fight. She's a skilled martial artist and acrobat. But her ability to dig up dirt on anyone allows her to terrify Midoriya more than any normal Villain could when she starts rattling off his life story to him.
* BenevolentBoss:
** Lexi treats Mercy well and wonders if she isn't paying Mercy enough when she notices her [[SneakingSnacks sneaking away finger food]] at a party. On the other hand, [[BadBoss she will reduce everyone at Lex Corp to apologies and groveling]] if they so much as think of questioning her interests, hobbies, and the amount of respect she has for her family's legacy.
** While this is part of their friendly SnarkToSnarkCombat, she isn't above reminding Mercy's that she pays her, in cases when Mercy questions her requests.
--->'''Lexi:''' ''[laughing uncontrollably after getting called "Baldy"]'' Mercy! Mercy, Mercy, Mercy! Please-Please carry me out of here before he starts talking again. I-I'm going to figuratively bust a gut at this rate!\
'''Mercy:''' Are your legs broken?\
'''Lexi:''' ''[between laughs]'' Am I still-Am I still signing your paycheck?\
'''Mercy:''' Fair point.
* BerserkButton: Don't question her desire to succeed. While she's nonchalant and disinterested at her board meeting, she's livid when one of her board members accuses of her of lacking any respect for her company or her family's legacy, reducing that board member to groveling and apologies by ripping through all of his mistakes.
* BigDamnHeroes: Lexi walks in and shuts down Mei's robots when they're about to go in for round 2.
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: She doesn't seem to grasp good and evil in solid terms, insisting that her family has been out of the supervillainy game for years with the exception of her "Aunt Nasty". At the same time, she actually approves of her aunt's decision to build a death ray at 40 years old to solve her midlife crisis.
-->'''Lexi:''' Oh, relax. I'm not evil; I wash my hands just like everybody else. We Luthors have been out of the evil game for decades. Sure, Aunt Nasty took a shot at it, but that was less her wanting to take over the world and more her having a midlife crisis. Then again, why shouldn't a person be allowed to build a Death Ray when they turn forty?
* BrilliantButLazy: She's implied to be as brilliant as her grandfather, but she's far more interested in enjoying Japanese culture than trying to take over the world by force. She's also so lazy that she can't even think of a third thing to complete the RuleOfThree in her narration about the seasons, expecting Midoriya to do it in her place (which he does).
** She's so bored in class that she finds it more important to write an essay on Website/{{Reddit}} on how the ''Franchise/{{Danganronpa}}'' franchise went downhill after ''VideoGame/DanganronpaAnotherEpisodeUltraDespairGirls'' than to pay attention or go after Mei.
* CombatPragmatist: She punches Mercy in the face while she is in the middle of talking just as their spar begins, commenting on how all's fair in a fight.
-->'''Lexi:''' I punch her in the face. She looks clearly dazed, but not at all upset. I'm truly glad to see that; all's fair in a fight, after all. Like sweeping your opponent's leg and knocking them to the ground. I have no right to get upset with her for doing that to me.
* CompositeCharacter: She's a composite of Alexis Luthor from ''WesternAnimation/LegionOfSuperheroes'' for her color scheme and interest in Superman as well as the cunning and ruthless nature of the Alexis Luthor from Earth-16.
* CutLexLuthorACheck: She doesn't seem interested in taking over the world through supervillainy, being content to take it over financially and culturally. She enrolls in U.A. as a Support Course student as a side hobby while she runs [=LexCorp's=] Japanese branch.
* DeadGuyJunior: Lexi is named after her deceased grandfather, Lex Luthor.
* DeadpanSnarker: Lexi sarcastically claps when Midoriya pieces her identity together from all the hints she's given him.
-->'''Midoriya:''' "Company?" "Family?" What are you- ''[notices all of the details and puts them together]'' Y-You. You! You-You're one of them, you're a member of the Luthor family, aren't you?!\
'''Lexi:''' ''[slow, SarcasticClapping]'' And the last horse crosses the finish line.
* {{Determinator}}: Lexi believes that the key to success in life is to possess an indomitable will. A strong body and mind are merely means to an end and byproducts of the desire to get ahead.
-->'''Lexi:''' You need to keep everything in check to achieve perfection. My grandfather kept to that ideology to some extent, you know.\
'''Mercy:''' ''[rolling her eyes]'' Yeah, yeah. ''[as Lexi jumps up on the salmon rungs]'' Does any of this even put you in his league?\
'''Lexi:''' It's not about that. ''[flies up another rung]'' In the end, the war is never won simply by strength. ''[goes up another rung]'' The thing that matters most is having an indomitable will. ''[goes up another rung]'' Strengthening my body is just a means of reminding myself of that. ''[goes up another rung]'' A means to an end. ''[goes up another rung]'' It wouldn't be the only thing to exist for that purpose.
* DidYouJustFlipOffCthulhu: She happily blackmails Midoriya into getting into her limo with her knowledge of his identity as an alien, knowing full well that he could probably snap her like a toothpick. Only, she also knows he won't because he's a stuttering NervousWreck who wants to be [[TheFettered a Hero.]]
* EvilLaugh: Subverted. Contrary to Midoriya's expectations, she giggles like a normal girl instead of the supervillainous laughing or chortling he expected. It just makes her even more unsettling to him.
* EvilRedhead: She hasn't been shown to be ''evil'' per say and claims that her family has long since left supervillainy. On the other hand, she's certainly amoral, slipping Midoriya [[IfIWantedYouDead thinly viled threats]], effectively stalking him by dredging up all of his personal details through her connections, and not caring if people get hurt by an out-of-control robot that's she's more than capable of stopping. All that matters to her is that [[ItAmusedMe she's entertained]] and that she gets one step closer to making the [[ItsAllAboutMe world revolve around her.]]
* FamedInStory: As the heir apparent of [=LexCorp=], the CEO of its Japanese branch, and a U.A. student, Lexi is constantly swarmed by paparazzi wherever she goes.
* FamousAncestor: Her grandfather is Lex Luthor (who is deceased) and her "Granny Lois" is more than likely to be the Daily Planet's ace reporter Lois Lane, Superman's traditional love interest. It's implied that Lexi lives in Lex's shadow and wants to establish a legacy worthy of his own.
* FantasticRacism: Played with. She sarcastically stereotypes possible traits Midoriya might have as an alien, but doesn't seem to hold his actual alien status against him like most others would, approaching him out of curiosity rather than disgust.
* {{Foil}}: To Midoriya. They were both born with incredible talents and the ability to change the world. But Midoriya is an alien who came to Earth and wants to be a Hero for altruistic purposes. He's lacking in self-esteem, socially awkward, and terrified of his own abilities and the day when his SecretIdentity is finally leaked to the public. He hit the SuperpowerLottery and is determined to make up for his past mistakes by helping as many people as he can. His biological family, while extremely important, was a virtual unknown on Krypton due to FantasticRacism. While Midoriya is fascinated by his home planet's culture, he's not bound by his family's legacy and is extremely close to both of his adoptive parents. Lexi is enrolling in the Support Course as a side hobby in order to satisfy her desire to observe Midoriya. She's confident, manipulative, and wields a vast network of connections that allowed her to dig up Midoriya's entire life story on a whim. She's disappointed that people ''don't'' recognize who she is on sight and her Quirk is ill-suited for combat, deciding to rule the world through her company's influence rather than trying to take it over with supervillainy or saving it every Tuesday. Her parents are neglectful party animals and her grandfather is one of the most famous men to have ever walked on Earth. Lexi is implied to be constantly living in Lex's shadow, making her determined to establish a legacy worthy of her heritage. They're also both {{Otaku}}s, Midoriya for Hero culture and Lexi for Japanese culture.
* ForeignCultureFetish: She holds Japanese culture in high regard and chastises Midoriya when he doesn't properly introduce himself as per typical Japanese customs.
* GadgeteerGenius: She's by and far away the best engineer, technician, and computer programmer in the Support Course. When her senior, Bibimi Kenranzaki, tries to call her out on her behavior, Lexi shuts her up by building a laser cannon better than hers in every way in an hour while blindfolded. Not only did it have ten times the range, but it was equipped with a self-destruct sequence. infrared tracking, the ability to fold into a handheld form, self-repair features, cup holders, and ''VideoGame/{{Doom}}.''
* GamerChick: She consumes enough Japanese media to write an entire essay on why the ''Franchise/{{Danganronpa}}'' series went downhill after ''VideoGame/DanganronpaAnotherEpisodeUltraDespairGirls''.
* GenerationXerox: Like her grandfather, Lexi is undeniably brilliant but incredibly egocentric, pursuing her fixations with reckless abandon and skirting the line between amorality and downright evil.
* GenreSavvy: She instantly recognizes Bakugou as the StockShonenRival, comparing him to [[Anime/YuGiOh Kaiba]], [[Anime/{{Akira}} Tetsuo]], [[Manga/FlameOfRecca Kurei]], [[Characters/DisneyDucksComicUniverseAntagonists Glomgold]], and [[Manga/{{Naruto}} Sasuke]]. Then she scratches off the last one because of how badly Midoriya outclasses Bakugou in raw power.
* GradeSchoolCEO: Just barely, but she's fifteen and in charge of [=LexCorp=], one of the most powerful conglomerates in the world. Downplayed in that she also has to deal with her board, who manage the day-to-day aspects of the company, but she still has an active stake in its activities, officially becoming the head of the Japanese branch while attending U.A.
* GradeSkipper: She graduated from college at ''five''. So when she announced that she'd be attending U.A., the press immediately swarmed her for answers.
* HiddenDisdainReveal: Albeit, one that happens almost immediately. In public, Wiktoria and Lexi are the best of friends. In private, they despise each other and hate lingering around one another for longer than necessary, only appearing together as part of the upper-class rituals they've become accustomed to.
* IfIWantedYouDead: She drops this threat to Midoriya after coercing him into getting into her limo:
-->'''Lexi:''' I'm getting off track, so let's get back to making something clear: if I wanted to do something bad to you, you wouldn't even be here for us to talk about it.
* ImprobableAge: She graduated from Metropolis University at the age of five and earned a doctorate in nanoengineering at seven. Once she's finally at U.A., she's surprised by how easy it was to get in and declares that she could have finished the course when she was three.
* InnocentBlueEyes: Subverted. Her eyes are striking blue, but she's anything but innocent and casually talks about how she could ruin Midoriya's life if she wanted to.
* InsufferableGenius: She's a genius and she knows it, never hesitating to rub it in other people's faces while bragging about how easy everything is for her.
-->'''Lexi:''' ''[to Midoriya]'' That's right. Say hello to Support Department, Class 1-H's most valuable player. Honestly, I'm a little surprised at how easy it was to get in. Everyone applying had to display a device of their own creation, and except for maybe two other people, it was all so amateur. Probably why they acted like I just created sliced bread when it was my turn. Japan's supposed to be at the forefront of technology, yet they acted like it was so surprising to see a portable, Tritium-powered fusion reactor.
* IntentionalEngrishForFunny: Despite being completely fluent in Japanese, she often mixes in exaggerated Japanese pronunciations of English words like "Misutah" and referring to Nedzu as the "purinshiparu" to show her flagrant disregard for social norms.
* {{Irony}}: Lexi writes off Midoriya as someone her grandfather would have never cared about based on first impressions. Little does she know that in most alternate realities, Lex was ''obsessed'' with defeating and/or killing Superman. For further irony, many versions of Lex Luthor was notoriously unwilling or unable to recognize Superman's true identity simply because his ego couldn't accept the idea of a god-like being wanting to be treated like a normal person. Lexi by contrast is thoroughly intrigued by Izuku's duality, and figured out who he really was long before they even physically meet.
* ITakeOffenseToThatLastOne: PlayedForLaughs. She remains completely unfazed at Bakugou's insults, but when he refers to her as "fucking otaku", she politely reminds him she's American and the proper term is "[[ProudToBeAGeek fucking weeb]]".
* ItAmusedMe: She's mainly interested in coming to U.A., one of the most prestigious Hero Schools in the world with a 0.33% admission rate because it means that she'll get all the time she wants to indulge in her latest hobby: studying Midoriya. She also laughs at Midoriya's schmaltzy motives for becoming a Hero.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Intelligence wasn't the only thing she got from her grandfather.
-->'''Lexi:''' ''[bored and annoyed at a birthday party]'' I know the world doesn't revolve around me, but that doesn't mean we can't put effort into making it do so.
* {{Joshikousei}}: She's intent on spending her high school days as one in Japan, even name dropping it in conversation.
-->'''Lexi:''' In the spring, I'll start managing [=LexCorp's=] Japanese branch here in Tokyo, set up shop at a fancy hotel somewhere, and spend my days living the life of a good little JK.
* ItsPersonal: Chapter 19 implies that her reasons for wanting to compete with Midoriya are this, somehow.
* ManipulativeBitch: She's already a master of persuasion and manipulation, wrapping Power Loader around her pinky finger by impressing him with her fusion reactor and shouting down men two or three times her age with ease. She also asks Midoriya to eat lunch with her in the middle of a crowd so the spectacle and peer pressure would make his willpower crumble.
* MegaCorp: She's in charge of [=LexCorp=], one of the most famous examples in comics.
* NamedAfterSomeoneFamous: She's named after her grandfather and grandmother, Lex Luthor and Lois Lane.
* NervesOfSteel: She's always in control no matter where she goes and doesn't bat an eyelash when mouthing off to the principal of the greatest Hero school in Japan, nor does she seem the slightest bit nervous about trying to extort something out of U.A. in exchange for contracts.
* NonIdleRich: Although she seems to thrive in the parties and luxury that her wealth affords her, Lexi is bored of the high life and decides to head to Japan to attend U.A.'s Support Course and run the [=LexCorp=] branch there to get away from it all and study Midoriya.
* OccidentalOtaku:
** She loves Japanese culture and is more interested in the anime she's following than her board meeting. When she drags Midoriya into her limo, he has to wade through more than a half-dozen bags from Animate, Book-Off, and Kinokuniya. She also looks forward to invoking numerous anime tropes, like running out of the house with a piece of toast in her mouth in the morning.
** She tries to ask Midoriya to eat lunch with her on U.A.'s rooftop and makes an "aggressively average" and stereotypical bento box to eat at lunch. She makes Midoriya eat it to verify its authenticity.
* OnlyInItForTheMoney: Subverted. She offers to help fix the U.A. Barrier and add a security system after it was breached by an unknown assailant, but tells Nedzu she doesn't want U.A.'s money, asking for something far more valuable than that.
* ParentalNeglect: Her parents apparently do little to supervise her activities, as Lexi mentions that they're simply in Tokyo to get wasted rather than doing anything productive, leaving her to run the company herself. According to Lexi, they're far more interested in alcohol and Russian roulette than her.
* PoweredArmor: Developed her own version of her grandfather's Warsuit she calls "Upper Echeleon" armed with advanced hardlight weapons, picotechnology, [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking a deployable]] ''Franchise/MadokaMagica'' [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking blanket]] and [[BreadEggsMilkSquick the cosmic symbol of Doom on it's chest]].
* ProudToBeAGeek: When Bakugou calls her an otaku, she treats it like a term of endearment and tells him to call her a "fucking weeb" next time.
* PurpleIsPowerful: Her business suit is green and purple like her grandfather's classic outfit. She's also the heir to one of the most powerful corporations in the world and is exceptionally ruthless and capable when she puts her mind to something. She also terrifies Midoriya thoroughly enough to make him pass out in the snow, which full blown supervillains failed to do.
* RichBitch: She's one of the richest teenagers in the world and will happily shove a reporter's microphone into his mouth for interrupting her manga reading time. She also has no problems threatening Midoriya and his family and tends to show complete disdain or indifference to anyone who is not Mercy or Midoriya.
* SarcasticClapping: Engages in some to mock Midoriya after he finally pieces her identity together.
* SecretKeeper: She deduced Midoriya's identity but doesn't plan on telling it to anyone sans Midoriya himself, merely being interested in the idea of talking to an alien.
* ScienceHero: Defied. Lexi's Quirk is apparently not suited for Hero work, yet with her brilliance she could easily change the world the way her grandfather did. She's not interested in that sort of thing and is content to indulge in her own interests instead.
-->'''Midoriya:''' ''[after punching through a window in surprise]'' Wh-Wh-What?! Y-Y-Y-You're going to try and be a Hero?!\
'''Lexi:''' No, I have no interest in that kind of work. Why spend your life trying to save the world when you can just rule it?
* ScrewTheRulesIHaveConnections: Along with her family's financial dominance, it's implied the that Luthors' vast network of connections lets Lexi grab onto whatever information she could possibly ever want.
* ScrewTheRulesIHaveMoney: When Midoriya asks how she found out so much about him, she simply replies "I'm a Luthor.", This implies that her family's connections and financial influence allowed her to get info that should be restricted to the Japanese government, the police, and the Top Ten Heroes.
* SkewedPriorities: She's more concerned with her essay on the downfall of the ''Franchise/{{Danganronpa}}'' series than her classwork or the fact that a giant robot is rampaging in the cafeteria.
* SmarterThanYouLook: For a rebellious upper-class teenager who happens to be obsessed with Japanese culture, it would be easy to write her off as a NEET. Even still, she deduced Midoriya's identity as an alien, obtained his entire personal history, and tracked him down to his hometown with her family's connections. She is also fluent in both English and Japanese, earned a doctorate in nanoengineering at the age of seven, and runs one of the most influential corporations in the world with an iron fist.
* {{Socialite}}: She certainly fits the role, but she actually finds the high life boring and is much more interested in Japanese culture and indulging in her other hobbies, like studying one particular wayward alien: Midoriya.
* StalkerWithoutACrush: Lexi tracks Midoriya down to his hometown and follows him in her limousine out of sheer curiosity and interest in what it would be like to talk to an alien her age. She then blackmails him into getting into her limo to interrogate him, taking in every bit of him with her blue eyes.
* StealthInsult: With the exception of Midoriya and Mercy, this tends to be the most positive thing to come out of Lexi's mouth when addressing others as part of her InsufferableGenius tendencies.
-->'''Lexi:''' ''[to Aoi]'' My, my, for a mere custodian, you have quite a good head on your shoulders.\
'''Aoi:''' Hey, are you complimenting me or-\
'''Lexi:''' You should be happy I said anything that can even be interpreted as positive.
* SupremeChef: Parodied. Despite her wealth, she intentionally makes an aggressively average Japanese school lunch with all the stereotypical fixings like rice and hot dogs. Midoriya even says that she had to ''try'' to make it taste this average after painstakingly crafting it to match a bento box from ''Manga/KaguyaSamaLoveIsWar''. She did this intentionally to indulge in her slice-of-life anime fantasy.
-->'''Midoriya:''' Alexis-san’s food isn’t great, nor is it terrible; it’s just average. Aggressively average, even. The flavor of the food tastes like anything I could eat on any given day, but as I was eating her rice and [[ThatCameOutWrong her wiener—I mean hot dog!]]—I could tell that it was constructed with the kind of expert craftsmanship that takes years of training to obtain. All of that is there, yet it still tastes like something you can buy at a train station or a convenience store! Alexis-san, did you go out of your way to have this food taste average?\
'''Alexis:''' ''[smug and proud]'' What part of ‘stereotypical box lunch of a Japanese student’ did you miss, Midoriya? If I had it taste better or worse than that, then it would be reflective of a specific character type, and all I want to do is have the kind of meal that any sort of character can eat, regardless of the genre and plot.
* SureLetsGoWithThat: She spots Midoriya in the crowd while being swarmed with reporters on her first day at U.A. The paparazzi immediately assume that she's gazing over at Shouto Todoroki, the son of the Number Two Hero, prompting this response from her.
-->'''Lexi:''' Sure, why not?
* TeenGenius:
** Fluent in English and Japanese, head of one of the largest companies on Earth, graduated from college at five, and earned a doctorate in nanoengineering at seven. She is also a skilled martial artist and acrobat.
** She's surprised when U.A.'s Support Course, the supposed forefront of technology, didn't expect her to bring in a portable tritium fusion reactor.
* VillainsNeverLie: She believes any CorruptCorporateExecutive can lie their way to success. Truly exemplary people can speak the truth with a straight face and not have it blow up in their face.

[[folder:Mei Hatsume]]
!!Mei Hatsume
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/p_4.png]]
Lexi's classmate in the Support course. A brilliant inventor who builds gadgets and robots to support Heroes, she makes her debut chasing after her rampaging robot after it began raiding the cafeteria for food.
----
* AdaptationalBadass: For all her crazy antics, Mei is a [[NonActionGuy content to build equipment on the sidelines]] in the original My Hero Academia. Here, she's a cyborg who can spit highly corrosive acid and create giant robots.
* AdaptationalIntelligence: She was never ''dumb,'' but here she's capable of creating giant robots that trained Heroes have trouble with.
* AdaptationalSpeciesChange: She's a {{Cyborg}} in this story.
* AnimeHair: Somehow even weirder than it was in canon.
* AIIsACrapshoot: Her robot went on a rampage to satisfy the tremendous appetite it had from being programmed with Fatgum's cooking videos.
* BarbieDollAnatomy: Name-dropped in the story's description of her and justified by the various robotic parts throughout her body.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: She's a ''brilliant'' inventor who can match wits with Alexis Luthor in the building department. She's also incredibly eccentric and thinks little of the devastation her inventions leave in their wake. Case in point, she programmed one of her combat robots with ''cooking videos.''
* {{Catchphrase}}: [[Franchise/StarWars "Roger roger"]].
* CombiningMecha: Her Baby #689, the Robo-Octo-Ape, is a mecha that splits into an octopus robot, a gorilla robot, and a [[DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment robot-robot]] that can [[HealingFactor automatically repair itself]] and has an enormous appetite.
* {{Cyborg}}: Aoi notices that Mei has metallic legs and fingers.
* ExoticEyeDesigns: Her eyes have crosshairs for pupils.
* GoingCommando: She doesn't wear panties on her metallic legs.
* GratuitousLatin: She has English letters written across her hair, which read, "Elapsam semel occasionem non ipse potest Iuppiter reprehendere", meaning, "Not even Jupiter can find a lost opportunity."
* HollywoodAcid: She can spit a powerful acid strong enough to corrode a ten-foot wide hole in the floor by accident.
* MadeOfIron: Having her head jammed into the ceiling didn't hurt her in the slightest. Neither does dropping from the ceiling to the floor. Being a {{Cyborg}} obviously helps with this.
* NotHelpingYourCase: She insists that her robot is totally harmless... right before it fires another laser that Yamashiro had to dodge.
* ShoutOut:
** The GratuitousLatin written on her hair is the same message written in [[VisualNovel/VirtuesLastReward Phi's brooch]].
** She also seems to have [[Franchise/StarWars "Roger roger"]] as a catchphrase.
* UnwantedAssistance: She asks if there is anything she can do to help stop her robot. Aoi tells her to do absolutely nothing, which Mei happily agrees to do.

!!Business Course
[[folder:Mercy Graves]]
!!Mercy
Alexis' bodyguard, chauffeur, sparring partner, and friend. She's Lexi's most constant companion and plans on attending U.A. as a Business Course student alongside her.
----
* AgeLift: Mercy is a teenager and Lexi's best friend in this story as opposed to a Lex Luthor's adult subordinate.
* ChildhoodFriend: She and Lexi have been together since they were kids, with Mercy taking Lexi everywhere on a bike or in a wagon before learning to drive.
* GradeSchoolCEO: She apparently helps Lexi run her affairs, making the Business Course a breeze for her.
* HugeSchoolgirl: She's Midoriya's age but towers over him at 190 cm ([=6'4''=]) compared to his 166 cm ([=5'5 1/4''=]).
* HypercompetentSidekick: Mercy is Lexi's chauffeur, bodyguard, secretary, accountant, and best friend.
* OnlyFriend: Mercy is implied to be the only person Lexi places her complete faith in.
* PhenotypeStereotype: Midoriya isn't surprised that Mercy is tall because she's an American.
* PunchCatch: She catches one of Lexi's punches during their spar.
* SeriousBusiness: She takes driving ''very'' seriously and criticizes Lexi's butler Woodworth, who is now their chauffeur, for every little mistake.
* ServileSnarker: She isn't afraid to snark at her employer despite being on her payroll. To Mercy's credit, Lexi seems to like this level of spunk.
-->'''Lexi:''' I might even eat toast while running to school, if the opportunity might arise. Mercy might do it, too.
-->'''Mercy:''' I'm not running around with toast in my mouth.
* SneakingSnacks: She stuffs finger food into her purse at Wiktoria's birthday party. This makes Lexi wonder if she's paying her enough.
* TalkingIsAFreeAction: Subverted. Lexi punches Mercy in the face when she gets caught up in idle banter just prior to their spar.
-->'''Mercy:''' So what's the time limit for today?\
'''Lexi:''' A studio I like did an AMA earlier today. That put me in a good mood, so let's go with three minutes.\
'''Mercy:''' You must be in a real good mood if you think you can last- ''[gets punched in the face]''
* YoungerThanTheyLook: She stands at 190 cm and Midoriya initially thinks she's old enough to be a teacher even though she's the same age as him.
-->'''Midoriya:''' Why would you-wait, Mercy-san is coming with you? Is she going to be a teacher, then?\
'''Lexi:''' What? No, she'll be a student. She's the same age as us, you know.\
'''Midoriya:''' She is? But she looks so much older.\
'''Mercy:''' [[DeadpanSnarker I drink a lot of milk.]]

!!Hero Course, Second Years
[[folder:Emiko Queen]]

A second-year at U.A. and the sister of Star City's favorite Hero, Green Arrow. She's the one manning the punching machine booth at the Cultural Festival and knows Kendou thanks to being part of the same dojo.
----
* AdaptationalBadass: Emiko was trained by Yoru, Batman's martial arts teacher in the DCAU.
* AdaptationOriginConnection: Emiko was trained by Yoru, Batman's martial arts teacher in the DCAU. This also resulted in her being acquainted with Kairi Tanaga.
* AdaptationalUgliness: This version of Emiko doesn't have hair or a face.
* AffectionateNickname: "Emi" with Kendou.
* AmazingTechnicolorPopulation: She's pitch black from head-to-toe without hair or a face.
* AscendedExtra: In canon, Kendou's upperclassman friend never appeared on screen, and they only existed to explain how Kendou could know what the final exam was ahead of time.
* ChildhoodFriends: With Kendou.
* CombatParkour: She can apparently run up a wall without kicking her feet through it first.
* CompositeCharacter: With Kendou's otherwise unnamed upperclassman friend from canon.
* DeadpanSnarker
* EarlyBirdCameo: In chapter seven as the girl running the booth at the Culture Festival where Midoriya and Rappa competed for a Beebo doll.
* TheFaceless: She doesn't have a face. It doesn't seem to stop her from speaking, though.
* FamedInStory: She's famous by proxy due to her brother, who is as famous for his Hero activity as his hyper-liberalism.
* {{Tykebomb}}: Kendou mentions that Emiko got to know her father because of something involving a komodo dragon, implying that Emiko's backstory of being raised by the assassin Komodo is still intact.

!!Hero Course, Third Years
!!!The Big Three
[[folder:In General]]
The trio of third years considered to be the best among U.A. students. They are all very talented students, but are also recognized to be extremely eccentric.
----
* TheAce: The trio is composed of the three best students at U.A.
* AdaptationalEarlyAppearance: They all get introduced into the story months before they appeared in canon.
* AdaptationalSexuality: All three of them are gay in this story.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: Despite being the top students in the school, all three of them are incredibly eccentric and goofy.
* StraightGay: All three of them.
[[/folder]]
[[folder:Mirio Togata]]
!!Mirio Togata
[[quoteright:235:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mirio_togata_anime_2.png]]
U.A.'s top student and the one Nedzu commends as the most worthy of receiving One For All's power. Relentlessly cheerful and equally eccentric, he approaches all of his problems with a smile no matter how tough things get. His Quirk, "Permeation" allows him to phase through anything, walls, sound waves, living beings, and even light.
----
* TheAce: He's widely recognized as U.A.'s best student and All Might admits that he's a perfect candidate to inherit One For All. It's downplayed in that his Sports Festival results have never been particularly stellar due to the difficulties his Quirk causes for him.
* AdaptationalEarlyAppearance: His first appearance in this story is months before when it happened in canon. He's also introduced along with his boyfriend Tamaki as mentors to help Midoriya get over his hangups about fighting people.
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:
** In canon, Mirio didn't have much of a connection with All Might because All Might had decided to make Midoriya his successor well before he got to meet him. In this story, not only is Mirio a student in All Might's homeroom class, but the author confirms that he'll inherit One for All.
** He's clearly Tamaki's best friend in canon, but here they're in an open romantic relationship to the point that he cheerily asks Tamaki to kiss his boo-boos away in public.
* BigBrotherMentor: After being introduced to Midoriya through Tamaki, Mirio takes it upon himself to cheer Midoriya up and pushes Tamaki into being a mentor too.
* BloodKnight: He asks for a spar with Midoriya not long after meeting him and says the idea of fighting the top incoming freshman who [[spoiler:beat All Might's record on the U.A. Entrance Exam]] gets his blood pumping.
* BrokeYourArmPunchingOutCthulhu: He spends his spar with Midoriya dodging most of his attacks without an opportunity to counterattack. The moment he manages to take Midoriya by surprise, he socks Midoriya across the jaw. Mirio only manages to break his entire arm.
* BuffySpeak: He compares the sensation of hitting Midoriya to, "punching the walliest wall to ever wall".
* BunnyEarsLawyer: The man said to be the best possible successor to One For All also happens to be a complete goofball who thinks nothing of leaping through walls naked on his way to school.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: He first appears in the sidestory, "Great Teacher Yagi" as one the three students late to All Might's homeroom on the first day of school. He makes his entrance by leaping through the wall through his Quirk while completely naked and yelling "POWER!" at the top of his lungs. He then happily declares that he isn't late, only to find that he ''is'' late. He wears a big smile on his face the whole time.
* {{Foil}}: To Midoriya. They're both self-sacrificing heroes who want to do nothing but save others with a smile. But Midoriya hit the SuperpowerLottery and has a plethora of [[SimpleYetAwesome powerful but simple abilities]] that make him a force to be reckoned with even with comparatively little training. Mirio's Quirk is [[DifficultButAwesome incredibly unwieldy and he needed years of training and experience]] to become [[NoSell nearly invincible in combat]]. Midoriya met All Might first but turned down the offer to become his successor, while Nedzu scouted Mirio out as a particularly exemplary student who would be an ideal bearer of One For All.
* ForegoneConclusion: The author has already stated that Mirio will inherit One for All, so now it's only a question of when.
* FullFrontalAssault: Because of how his Quirk makes him phase through his clothes, Mirio spars with Midoriya entirely in the nude.
* HeroicBuild: He's tall, incredibly muscular, and has the heart of gold to go along with it.
* {{Intangibility}}: His Quirk allows him to phase through anything, but whatever part he phases through becomes numb and he becomes completely deaf and blind should he do it to his entire body.
* MajorInjuryUnderreaction: Downplayed. He cusses up a storm when he breaks his arm by punching Midoriya, but he remains incredibly chipper and jokingly asks Tamaki to kiss the pain away. He's also fully aware that he'll pass out from shock the moment he stops being chipper. Even then, he forgets his hand is broken when he gives Midoriya a friendly pat on the shoulder.
* NakedFirstImpression: He introduces himself to All Might while completely naked, apologizing for making him see "Little Mirio".
* NakedPeopleAreFunny: He's cheery goofball who thinks nothing of charging into class in the nude after missing his train.
* NonStandardCharacterDesign: His eyes resemble Franchise/{{Tintin}}, with All Might noting that he looks like he just jumped out of an old-timey American cartoon.
* NoSell: His Quirk enables him to remain totally unaffected by all of Midoriya's attacks. Heat vision and punches pass right through him and he can simply phase out of the ice when he's turned into a HumanPopsicle.
* NotAMorningPerson: He accidentally slept in on his first day of school, which made him and his friends late to class.
* OfficialCouple: With Tamaki.
* PerpetualSmiler: ''Nothing'' seems to be able to get this guy down. When he's informed that he's late to class, his response is a cheerful, "Oh no!" and he seems to be completely okay with walking around in the nude. He's also remarkably nonchalant about breaking his whole arm by punching Midoriya, all while continuing to point out that he'll soon collapse from shock the moment he loses his composure.
* PieEyes: Has these in a stark contrast to the more traditionally anime-style characters.
* PromotedToLoveInterest: For Tamaki.
* SirSwearsALot: Temporarily becomes this after breaking his arm in his fight with Midoriya.
* StraightGay: His chipper, LargeHam attitude doesn't clue the reader into his romantic preferences until he announces it himself.
* WeakButSkilled: He doesn't have raw stopping power when compared to Midoriya, but years of practice with his Quirk make him nigh-untouchable. In fact, his fight with Midoriya is a complete stalemate until Mirio tries to sock Midoriya, which ends badly for Mirio.

A socially-awkward dark-haired young man who's friends with Mirio and Nejire and one of All Might's homeroom students.
----
* AdaptationalEarlyAppearance: His first appearance in this story is months before when it happened in canon.
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:
** Tamaki didn't have any connection to All Might in canon, but in this story, he's one of the students in his homeroom class.
** He's clearly Mirio's best friend in canon, but here they're in an open romantic relationship.
** Thanks to Nedzu, Tamaki ends up as a mentor figure for Midoriya, whereas canon only gave them a few interactions with each other.
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: Tamaki's powers come from him being a Metahuman in this story, though it seems to have the same abilities.
* CommonalityConnection: Nedzu assigned Tamaki to be Midoriya's mentor precisely because of their shared anxiety issues in hopes that they'll work them out together.
* CynicalMentor: Officially, he's been assigned as a mentor to Midoriya. But Tamaki is afraid of looking him in the eye, much less having the nerve to offer actual advice, until Mirio and Nejire push him into it.
* MutagenicFood: His Metahuman ability lets him transform his body based on what he eats.
* OfficialCouple: With Mirio.
* PointyEars: He sports elf-like ears.
* PromotedToLoveInterest: For Mirio.
* ShrinkingViolet: He's rather shy and easily intimidated when placed in front of a crowd. He immediately shrinks away from the similarly anxious Midoriya and has to be pushed into his mentor role by Mirio and Nejire.
* StraightGay: It's clear that him and Mirio are close from the outset, but the reader isn't clued in about their relationship until Mirio announces it himself.
* TheWorfEffect: In "Yuyu Haya wants to Ascertain," he has a spar with Midoriya that lasts for all of one attack from him.

A curious girl who's friends with Mirio and Tamaki and one of All Might's homeroom students.
----
* AdaptationalEarlyAppearance: Her first appearance in this story is months before when it happened in canon.
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:
** Nejire didn't have any connection to All Might in canon, but in this story, she's one of the students in his homeroom class.
** She also develops a close friendship with Midoriya, whereas canon put them as acquaintances at best.
** The story also gives her a closer friendship with with Uraraka than she had in canon.
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: Nejire's powers are magic in this story.
* AnimeHair: It fans out, then gets itself together only for two strands of hair, then fans out again. To make it worse, it's colored in gradient blue, being brighter on top and darker below.
* AttentionDeficitOohShiny: Her first appearance has her bouncing across her classroom to have a conversation with every other student.
%%* ConstantlyCurious
* TheDitz: She can be rather airheaded and it takes her several seconds to realize that All Might is her homeroom teacher.
* DistractedByTheSexy: Her last scene in chapter 13 has her get so distracted by looking at Uraraka that she forgot what she was going to say.
* EarlyBirdCameo: Nejire was briefly alluded to in chapter seven when Midoriya and his family were at the Culture Festival.
* EvenTheGirlsWantHer: In chapter seven, Inko mentions that both boys and girls were going crazy over her at the beauty pageant.
* GamerChick: She chides Midoriya for choosing a basic area to fight in while sparring with Mirio, accusing him of being the type to [[VideoGame/SuperSmashBros always play on Batlefield with no Final Smashes.]]
* GenkiGirl: She's very cheery, bubbly, and sociable. She's excited to see that one of her friends is in the same class as her again and goes out of her way to reintroduce herself to everyone before realizing that All Might is in the room.
* IncompatibleOrientation: Nejire says she would have tried going out with Midoriya if he was a girl.
%%* LipstickLesbian: Gay and very effeminate.
%%* MagicalGirlWarrior
* PowerGlows: Nejire glows blue when she summons her costume.
* SensualSpandex: Just like in canon, but rather than be a normal outfit, her costume is the product of a TransformationSequence.
%%* ShipTease: With Uraraka.
* SpectacularSpinning: Her magic manifests as spiralling waves.
* ThirdWheel: Mirio and Tamaki are in a relationship while she's the girl on the side cheering them on.

----
* ADayInTheLimelight: The "Yuyu Haya wants to Ascertain" sidestory is focused entirely on her.
* AmbiguouslyGay: It's unknown if her obsession with Nejire is because she's gay or just obsessive.
* CommonalityConnection: Yuyu and Uraraka bond over their mutual admiration of Nejire.
* CutenessProximity: Just as it was stated in her character profile, though taken up a notch here.
* DemonicPossession: Her Quirk, "Phantom," allows her to possess people and inanimate objects and see things from their perspective.
* EnergyBow: Her Quirk, "Phantom," manifests as a bow and arrow made of energy.
* {{Flanderization}}: Yuyu's love of cute things and Nejire are both taken up a notch.
* MeaningfulName: Her name contains the characters for "Bow," "Arrow," and "Possession," all of which relate to her Quirk.
