!!Main characters

[[folder:Bede]]
The main protagonist of the story who was whisked away onto the Train for some peace and quiet. His main goal is to prove he is the strongest and get the attention of Chairman Rose, stating that he doesn't care to make bonds with others. Although the Train ride might make him reconsider those words...

For more information, see [[Characters/InfinityTrainBlossomingTrailPokemonWorld here.]]
----
* ActionSurvivor: He has no combat abilities of his own, not even weaponry like Chloe, but he still manages to put a dent on ''Midnight Sparkle'' when she grabs Wallflower. [[spoiler:He then kills off Mitsuko thanks to Valtiel.]]
* AlwaysSaveTheGirl: As soon as Wallflower gets snatched by Midnight Sparkle, Bede wastes no time coming to her rescue by using some Plant glyphs to restrain the Denizen.
* AscendedExtra: Has only two scenes in ''Blossoming Trail'', but becomes the focal character of his own story set between ''Blossoming Trail'' Acts 2 and 3.
* BreakTheHaughty: [[DeconstructedTrope Deconstructed]]. At least part of Bede's journey on the Train involves him getting a good helping of HumblePie in order to become a better person. Problem is, this ''also'' strikes deep into his insecurities, and the fact the people who call him out are more often than not while also singing praises for Chloe shocks him so much [[spoiler: he decides to wheel himself just to escape it all.]]
* BeneathTheMask: Bede might look like the average arrogant Trainer, but this is all just a front to hide the insecure, thoroughly broken person he really is.
* BrokenBird: A male example; he's really a broken shattered boy who feels like the entire world hates him.
* TheComicallySerious: He's a no-nonsense trainer who gets into very silly situations like being launched out of a cannon or forced to dance disco against the undead.
* ConvenientlyAnOrphan: He's an orphan and the lack of love and support has thoroughly broken him.
* ConditionedToAcceptHorror: The only world Bede knows of is one where pain and misery reign, and people only see him as a tool at best, a punching bag at worst. So when he's actually met with kindness, he's at a complete loss. [[spoiler: It's rather telling that when Chloe calls him out for not telling her he was alive sooner, he's not surprised or angered, but rather ''glad'' that things are starting to feel more like how they usually do for him.]]
* DarkAndTroubledPast: He's an orphan and was always chewed out by everyone else, leaving him with severe trust issues. And if Leon's reaction to learning about the orphanage where Bede was raised is correct, it wasn't a happy place. In fact, he might not even be the only one...
** Chapter 8 reveals that he was trained to become a Shiny Hunter and nothing more; if he wasn't a Shiny Hunter, he was considered a nobody. And given how he acts in present day...
* ADayInTheLimelight: ''Court of Cyclamen'' focuses on what he was doing between Acts 2 and 3 of ''Blossoming Trail''
* DecoyProtagonist: He effectively stops being important after his [[spoiler: attempted suicide]], with Chloe hijacking the Protagonist status from there on [[spoiler: until Chloe leaves in the penultimate chapter and Bede ends up defeating Mitsuko.]]
* DeathSeeker: [[ImpliedTrope Heavily implied]]. Bede's nonchalant reactions to his life being threatened (like when Amelia aimed a gun at him) and him [[spoiler: deciding to wheel himself]] when his talk with Chloe goes south implies that, in some level, Bede sincerely wishes to ''die''.
* DeconstructedCharacterArchetype: As per ''Blossomverse'' fare
** JerkassHasAPoint: He was actually making solid remarks to Hop and Chloe on their attitudes. The problem is that his way of doing so is actually insensitive and he doesn't seem to care on how his words affect them.
** FreudianExcuseIsNoExcuse: Bede is afraid of explaining why he does what he does because everyone else chews him out, thus making it hard for him to open up and really get help for his mental health.
* DidNotThinkThisThrough: He never considers his words or actions and it ends up with a ''lot'' of pain.
** He didn't consider how his words hurt Hop and Goh, with the former being sent on the Infinity Train after Leon's insensitivity doesn't help.
** [[spoiler:Never considered the idea that he could've ''survived'' his suicide attempt and he has no Pokémon on him as he left Abra to ''watch him die'' and everyone else is in the Orange Car.]]
** And finally, [[spoiler:he didn't consider how his suicide would affect a ''ten-year-old girl'' and her mental health, nearly causing her to kill herself. While it's downplayed when Sunset reveals that it's ''not'' everything, the fact that Bede (or better yet ''Sunset herself'') never tells Chloe he's alright is one of the key factors that makes her decide to jump into the wheels like he did.]]
* DidntSeeThatComing: His opinion of himself is so low he ''legitimately thought'' him [[spoiler: deciding to wheel himself]] would be mourned by nobody, rather than [[spoiler: drive another Passenger to try kill themselves.]]
* DrivenToSuicide: [[spoiler:Considers ''falling onto the wheels'' instead of admitting that he needs serious help, a fact that isn't helped by how the Train keeps singing praises to Chloe while undermining him and Chloe herself doing all she can to help.]]
* DramaticallyMissingThePoint: Bede's so insecure and filled with self-loathing that even if someone tries to help him, his mind wires him to believe they're trying to make him lower his guard so they can hurt him. [[spoiler: It comes to a point when Chloe, in an attempt to make him open up, does things that lead him to believe he'll become her next plaything, prompting him to try wheel himself in return.]]
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: Downplayed as Bede isn't "evil", but he just can't wrap his head around honest advice and people wanting to help him. Best example is Chloe: every time he tears her down, Chloe honestly admits that she's done wrong and when ''she'' tries to give him advice, he refuses to take it.
* FatalFlaw: Trust issues; Bede ''always'' sees everyone as ready to backstab or betray him and will never open himself up even though he ''knows'' that he has to.
** Bede also has a problem of not thinking his actions through. He insulted Hop without thinking if Leon was going to like it, and he [[spoiler:committed suicide without realizing how that'd affect Chloe's psyche.]]
* HorribleJudgeOfCharacter: He thinks Chloe is just a pretender and doesn't really see how the actions she caused has ruined her loved ones. [[DramaticIrony The reader knows at this point that she's just had a big pep talk from her mom about having to change herself, has made amends with almost everyone she hurt and is really a kind and caring girl]], but Bede ''doesn't'', and his worldview is so twisted he'd have a hard time thinking she's not trying to hurt him regardless.
* {{Hypocrite}}: He likes tearing others down but he ''hates it'' when people point out his flaws.
* ICannotSelfTerminate: His DeathSeeker tendencies and big mouth combined makes it clear he ''wants'' to die, but he'd rather goad someone else to do the deed than do it himself. [[spoiler: It takes being cornered by Chloe and The Curious for him to decide to wheel himself to end it all.]]
* IgnoredEpiphany: When Chloe tells him that she's seen his soul and the pain he's gone through, there's a pause as if he's ready to admit that it's true...but decides to ignore it and [[spoiler:end his life]].
-->''Bede almost looked ready to admit that Chloe was right… but he knew better than to lower his guard against someone who so obviously saw him as vermin.''
* InferioritySuperiorityComplex: On the outside, he shows off the mask of a haughty proud boy who doesn't need friends and likes tearing down others, watching them squirm and cry. On the inside? He's afraid of opening up to the extremes and thinks everyone wants to hurt him to the point that [[spoiler:instead of taking Chloe's advice on how he should open up, he opts for ''suicide''.]]
* JerkassRealization: Him seeing Chloe dueling Boscha and how ''broken'' the girl sounds makes him realize that he pegged Chloe all wrong.
* LackOfEmpathy: When Chloe explains how Hop is currently suffering in Silent Hill, he doesn't react to it at all (especially since it's ''his fault'' Hop got lost in the fog). This might've been more pragmatism than anything, though, since even Bede would know better than to reveal he's the cause of it to ''Chloe of the Vermillion''.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Has this look when [[spoiler:he sees a livestream of Chloe about to kill herself and sees that she's a broken, shattered girl with must as much insecurities as him.]]
* NeverBeHurtAgain: Bede's mentality; he will do anything not to be hurt, even if the person giving is honest advice so he can actually change for the better, to the point that [[spoiler:he'll ''wheel himself'' as a means of escape.]]
* NoSocialSkills: He actually ''does'' make good points, but the way he goes about it ends up hurting the recipient and even then he doesn't really care about bettering others as he does about putting them down before they do it onto him.
* PetTheDog: Zigzagged; he does care for his Pokémon but he's known to be somewhat strict when they make mistakes (for example, scolding his Abra for accidentally teleporting them to the Pizza Chat Car.)
* PsychologicalProjection: Chloe points he has a tendency to push people who wish to help him aside, and whenever he claims people want him to die, it's really just Bede putting his words on someone else's mouth.
* ShadowArchetype: He's essentially what Chloe would've become in early BT if she had arrived when someone ''else'' had become a big, celebrated hero.
* SpearCounterpart: Essentially a male version of Chloe who has severe trust issues with other people and is afraid to open up to others. The big difference is that Chloe is surrounded with people who love her and want what's best for her, along with her at this point ready to fix herself to get home, while Bede has no one to depend on on but himself and ''refuses'' to change. [[spoiler:And ''both'' of them have had suicidal thoughts in the past and attempted to wheel themselves to end it all.]]
* SpitefulSuicide: [[spoiler: At least part of the reason he decides to wheel himself is to deny Chloe the catharsis of using him as her next plaything, which he believes to be the case.]]
* UnwantedRescue: [[spoiler: He actually ''was'' intent to wheel himself, so he's less than happy when Sunset Shimmer saves his life.]]
* UsedToBeASweetKid: Flashbacks in the Backstory Car revealed he ''was'' this. Then being tortured in that orphanage made him who he is today...
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Bede's Pokémon]]
Bede's four party team consisting of Hatenna, Gothorita, Galarian Ponyta and Abra.
----.
* GenderFlip: Gohtorita and Galarian Ponyta are female and male in the games, but are the opposites in the fanfic.
* LiteralMinded: Bede's Abra didn't understand how her master was using sarcasm when he wanted to go see Chloe, and thus teleported them to the Pizza Chat Car. Apparently this is something that Bede is working with her.
* MindOverMatter: All of them are Psychic types.
* TheOneGuy: Galarian Ponyta is the only male Pokémon.
* TotemPoleTrench: Chloe apparently saw Gothorita and Hatenna do this in an imitation of her, wearing her cloak and wielding a long stick as a weapon.
[[/folder]]

!!The Court of Cyclamen
Bede's initial group when he entered the Train, but after Bede is "declared" dead, the group are aided by Chloe of the Vermillion to fulfill his quest to enter the Family Circle Car.

[[folder:The Curious]]
A strange humanoid figure with a grey mask and an eerie whistle. He doesn't talk but seems to like collecting things. Bede encounters him in the Reaper Car.
----
* AdaptationalSpeciesChange: The Curious was some strange humanoid figure in his show, but he's a denizen in the story.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Tags along with Bede because Bede gives him a cyclamen flower bouquet (not knowing that Bede was insulting him as cyclamen actually mean "goodbye"). [[ItMakesSenseInContext The Curious ends up having a dance off against Ai so Bede doesn't embarrass himself.]] And then he learns what cyclamen ''really'' mean....
* CollectorOfTheStrange: He collects anything, or as the narration of his show explains, "strange tales".
* CoolMask: Wears a grey mask that looks like it's made of stone.
* {{Foil}}: Of Lexi who are both collectors of stories. Lexi is an original character that is a book that can transform himself into a paper being, whereas The Curious is from a children's show with a humanoid figure with a mask. Lexi writes entries down on his pages while The Curious picks up items from cars.
* MeaningfulName: He's very curious so Bede calls him "The Curious".
* TheQuietOne: He doesn't speak a lot and the only noises he does make is a sinister whistle. Most of the time he uses hand gestures or stuff he carries in his satchel to get his point across.
* ShoutOut: He's a reference to ''Series/CreepedOut'' in which he's an observer to the stories that happen.
* TastesLikeFriendship: As thanks for the bouquet, The Curious gives Bede a giant chocolate bar. Subverted in that this doesn't make them friends, but Bede does begrudgingly allow The Curious to join on his quest to enter the Family Circle Car.
* TranquilFury: When he hears from Chloe how cyclamen mean "goodbye", he's glaring at Bede while snapping his bouquet in half. [[NotHelpingYourCase This only gives Bede more reason to believe Chloe wants to hurt him]].
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: He teleports Bede to where Chloe is staying in order for him to get help from her on how to get his number down. [[spoiler:Unfortunately, Bede is so uncomfortable with what she says that he ultimately decides to ''throw his life away''.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Ai and Yusaku Fujiki]]
An AI in an android body and a teenage boy he was partnered with, both sharing the same number. They're also found in the Reaper Car.
----
* AmbiguouslyEvil: If this ''is'' the same Ai from ''Fanfic/InfinityTrainKnightOfTheOrangeLily'', then whether or not he's evil or planning something is up in the air as he [[spoiler:did brainwash Yusaku as a means to prevent Yusaku from disappearing like Specter did.]] Bede notes that Ai's smile looks similar to his and The Curious is ''frowning'' when Ai asks to have a DanceOff with Bede.
* BroughtDownToNormal: Since there's no VRAINS on the Train, Yusaku can't become Playmaker.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Zigzagged. Ai wears a black military coat and he's also the "Dark Ignis" but he's much more affable and charming and hasn't done anything evil...yet.
* EveryoneHasStandards: Ai is his Season 3 self and is known to be cynical, sarcastic and a troll. He honestly sees Josh's "musical" about how Chloe's not a hero to be sickening.
* LamePunReaction: Yusaku's reaction to Ai's "Ai love him" pun is to slap him across the head.
* MeaningfulName: As Ai puts it, his name means "to love" although it can also be read as AI -- "Artificial Intelligence" -- or [[PunnyName "Eye"]] as that's what he first was when Yusaku captured him.
* OnlyOneName: Ai, albeit justified since he wasn't originally a human. Inverted with Yusaku who's the only one of the group (not counting Chloe) who ''has'' a surname.
* RuleOfSymbolism: Ai and Yusaku's number is stuck ''300'', with the 3 either representing the number of seasons of VRAINS in total or Yusaku's penchant to state "three reasons".
* TheStoic: Yusaku's default expression to contrast with the hammy bombastic Ai.
* ThoseTwoGuys: If one of them is featured, chances are the other is coming soon after.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Wallflower Blush]]
Another Passenger from Canterlot High, whose most significant trait is that she's invisible.
-----
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: She's much more plucky and extroverted than in canon.
* AdaptationalEarlyAppearance: She appears much earlier than in her movie ''Forgotten Friendship''.
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: Since she was picked up before ''Forgotten Friendship'', she doesn't go as far as erase people's memories out of spite.
* BroodingBoyGentleGirl: She's the gentle girl to Bede's very brooding boy, trying to convince him that he's better than he thinks he is.
* CaringGardener: She's the sole member of the Gardening Club and laments how the garden in the school will have no one to tend to it.
* GamerChick: She's into ''VideoGame/DevilMayCry'' as she shouts the ever-famous [[Memes/DevilMayCry "Fill your dark soul with LIIIIGHT!"]] line and wants to get a copy of ''Shin Megami Tensei III HD'' because it features Dante.
* GreenThumb: She uses Plant glyphs against Midnight Sparkle, reflecting her love of gardening.
* HeroOfAnotherStory: She went through at least one other Car, the Coven Car, before she arrived at the Equestria Girls Car.
* SixthRanger: The last member to join the Court of Cyclamen and replaces Chloe when [[spoiler:she leaves to continue her duty to stop the Cage of Flauros.]]
[[/folder]]

!!Red Lotus Quarto

A heroic quartet who is on the route to the Fog Car to stop the Apex.
\
\
See [[Characters/InfinityTrainBlossomingTrailRedLotusTrio here]] for more information on the Quarto and [[Characters/InfinityTrainBlossomingTrailChloeCerise here]] for individual tropes on Chloe Cerise.

[[folder:In General]]
* BadassCrew: A girl with a donut holer, a corgi king, a book who transforms into origami figures, and the former Condutor and crackshot with a gun.
* BerserkButton: The biggest one for Amelia, Lexi and Atticus is putting Chloe in danger. [[spoiler:None of them are happy to have One-One manipulating things for Chloe to rise as a hero and then suffer a humongous fall. And an alternate timeline shows how ''angry'' they can be if Chloe died by the hands of Grace Monroe...]]
* DemotedToExtra: Become supporting characters at best since this is Bede's story.
* GenderEqualEnsemble: Two females (Chloe and Amelia) and two males (Lexi and Atticus)
* HeroOfAnotherStory: They're on their way to the Fog Car at this point in the story to stop the Apex.
* ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight: [[spoiler:When it gets to the point where Chloe's about to kill herself, Atticus, Lexi and Amelia decide to tell One to shove it and chew him out for his apathy for Chloe being what ''he'' needs, and not what they ''want''.]]
* TrueCompanions: The four care about each other very deeply and when Chloe decides to join the Court of Cyclamen, the others accept her decision with some reluctance. [[spoiler:Their bond is so strong that Atticus, Lexi and Amelia decide to tell the Conductor that they're going to save Chloe despite his warnings.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Chloe Cerise]]
A red-haired Passenger whose fame on the Train drives Bede up the wall. After Bede's "suicide", Chloe decides to leave the Quarto for the meantime to team up with the Court of Cyclamen.
----
* AllEncompassingMantle: Her Cloak of Marchosias is becoming this, highlighting her insecurities over what happens in the story.
* AllGirlsLikePonies: She gasps in awe at seeing Bede's Ponyta, wanting to pet her mane.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: She's a sweetheart but pissing her off is a bad idea with the numerous demons she can call. In her fight against Boscha, she's ready to summon a humongous SeaMonster to swallow her whole and Boscha ''herself'' is somewhat terrified that Chloe would go through with it. [[spoiler:It turns out that she's only making a giant wall of fire to stop Boscha from getting closer.]]
** Upon learning on [[spoiler:Looper-Satoko is doing everything she did and the atrocities in her world, she uses Ose to put her in a LotusEaterMachine even after she tried killing herself]]. This one is so terrifying that Ai and Yusaku slowly back away.
* BreakTheCutie: [[spoiler:Seeing Bede kill himself traumatizes her, and it turns out that he's actually alive but One-One forces Amelia to keep mum about it so she can grow from the experience. Then Josh brings up how her actions on being a hero and the zealot denizens have caused ''numerous passengers and denizens to die'', Boscha's words affecting her and someone deleting Infinigram accounts while harping all about her nearly causes her to ''kill herself''.]]
* CharacterTics: Has a tendency to tug on the hood of her cloak.
* ColorMotif: Red; has red hair, she's known as Chloe of the "Vermillion", the group is Red Lotus Quarto and her Cloak of Marchosias is a bright red color.
* DrivenToSuicide: She has contemplated on suicide in the past [[spoiler:and after everything gets too much for her, plans on doing it because she can't take the pressures of being a "hero" any longer. Thankfully, she is saved before she jumps by everyone reassuring her that her feelings are valid and people love her as she is.]]
* FatalFlaw:
** Her anger issues is her biggest one, brought about by suppressing it for a long time and having no way to vent out or explain her situation.
** Trust issues; she can't trust adults in her life (barring Amelia) because they either ignored her or refused to either give her help she needed or did not permit her pursue things she loved. The Curious points out that the only reason adults are so incompetent is because they don't have all the answers, answers ''she'' could've have given if she spoke up more.
** Insecurities; Chloe feels like she's never ''enough'' for anyone and always feels she has to measure up to impossible standards (like being a total expert in Pokémon or be just like Ash) and the expectations everyone puts on her no matter where she goes. [[spoiler: It takes reassuring words from everyone she knows on and off the Train, and them admitting their own flaws and struggles, to reassure her she's an amazing person as she is and she shouldn't put a bar for herself.]]
* FieryRedhead: A girl with red hair who can cast fire and has a temper to match.
* HiddenDepths: Is well diverse in the language of flowers as she points out Bede's tendency on using cyclamen as an insult.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Calls out how Bede can't understand what she's going through, but not only is she ignorant of what ''he's'' going through, but her attempts to help are so poorly done [[spoiler: Bede is convinced to wheel himself. In her defense, she only got one shot at seeing what was wrong with him through her cloak and just one look isn't enough to fix everything and given how Bede has a ''very hard time'' taking advice, anything she could say wouldn't stick.]]
* IJustWantToBeLoved: Like in ''Blossoming Trail'', Chloe's deepest wish is to be assured that her feelings are validated and that she's not ''just'' the Professor's daughter or a punching bag for her classmates or fears that she's ignored by society at large since doesn't conform to the status quo (or the fact that she's not a boy who she sees as getting everything she wants). [[spoiler:What gets her out of the loop that nearly kills herself is reassuring that her feelings matter and that what she accomplished is of worth.]]
* ILied: Says this to Boscha about the idea of summoning a SeaMonster to eat her [[spoiler:when in reality she summons a wall of flames to push her back.]]
* InnocentlyInsensitive: Unlike Bede, who ''intentionally'' likes putting others down, all Chloe wanted to do was help him figure out his problems, point out how he has a bad tendency to give people cyclamen bouquets and push help aside. What this ends up doing is [[spoiler: causing Bede to try to wheel himself to avoid becoming her next "plaything".]]
* InSeriesNickname: "Chloe of the Vermillion" is her go-to alias, but Bede sarcastically likes to call her "Goddess of the Train".
* InTheHood: Her Cloak of Marchosias is a red cloak with the hood of a wolf's head.
* LovedByAll: Chloe is a celebrity on the train for her determination to stop the Apex, something that irritates Bede to no end. Deconstucted since it's shown that nothing but praise can be toxic as negative comments and that [[spoiler:someone is deleting anything that ''doesn't'' show Chloe as perfect along with almost every other Infinigram account online. Later, she is reassured that she is still loved and doesn't have to put a bar to compare herself with.]]
* NotHelpingYourCase: Chloe, what were you ''thinking'' when you prefaced your attempt to help Bede by ''pointing out what Cyclamen really mean '''in front of The Curious?''''' Chloe admits that she worded it wrong and was more pointing out why Bede has a tendency to do it to ''others''.
* PipePain: Her weapon is a donut holer -- a pipe that's used to punch holes into things to turn them into "donuts" -- that she uses like a softball bat.
* PlayingWithFire: Her Cloak of Marchosias lets her cast fire.
* PrecisionFStrike: States two of this in Chapter 8, first being mad at her school worshiped "Princess Sara fucking Diktalyis" and calling Bede a "Sick Fuck" over [[spoiler:finally telling her he's alive ''just as she's about to kill herself.'']]
* RageBreakingPoint: The Infinigram accounts being deleted, Boscha's words, and everything she's going through causes Chloe to snap at Yusaku on how she's only one little girl fighting something bigger than herself [[spoiler: and causes her to go to the bridge between cars to kill herself.]]
* SecretlySelfish: Discussed; Steve bluntly points out that she can be selfish, but Chloe questions if it's wrong considering how her bully and friend get an entire cake and she gets crumbs. Why ''shouldn't'' she be given something after the entire world chewed her out? Then it circles back to those Zealots and the messes they made in ''her'' name...She later reveals that [[spoiler:she was afraid of asking for so much because she didn't want to feel like she was being a SpoiledBrat like Sara, not to mention that her parents had been somewhat ignorant to her problems to properly ask her.]]
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: The sole female of the Court of Cyclamen.
* SpotlightStealingSquad: Despite already having an entire story to her, Chloe effectively becomes the main protagonist after Bede [[spoiler: seemingly killing himself. In the penultimate chapter, she leaves once she realizes she can't help Bede any longer and it's Bede who ends up defeating Mitsuko.]]
* SummonMagic: Her crimson mark lets her summon demons, but she can only summon them ''once''.
* WhatTheHellHero: Ai and Yusaku are justified in their anger when Chloe points out that by stating what cyclamen mean within earshot of The Curious, it just made Bede isolate himself from the closest thing he had to a friend on the Train. Chloe admits that she worded it wrong and was pointing out why Bede had a bad habit of even ''doing'' that in the first place. [[spoiler: Later it's one of the factors that makes Chloe feel like the two hate her for what was honestly a simple mistake. They have to reassure her that while she worded it wrong, Chloe actually did more than those two in regards to Bede's problems.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Atticus]]
King of Corginia, Uniter of the Pembrokes and Cardigans. Chloe's first denizen partner on the train who acts in a serious manner even though he is still a talking corgi with a crown.
----
* BerserkButton: Don't take his crown. He starts attacking Bonnie in the Pizza Chat Car when he bites on it.
* BrokenPedestal: [[spoiler:One's cold attitude has him dismiss the Conductor as a friend, disappointed at how One-One doesn't care for Chloe and seemingly forgot the times they had with Tulip.]]
* CoolCrown: Atticus sports a splendid one and taking it will piss him off like no other.
* FauxHorrific: He views ball pits this way. But then again, the last time he was in a ball pit he was shot in the face and turned into a Ghom.
* HeroicDog: A noble corgi king who is off to help end the Apex.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Lexi]]
A flying book from the Library of Flying Books Car. He is a supporter for Chloe's actions and her biggest fan.
----
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Lexi is loyal to Chloe because she unearthed him after eight years and took a blow of hot water from a fight between him and his father.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: His panicking over Chloe leaving with the Court of Cyclamen specifically notes that she, a young girl, is teaming up with three men who are older than her.
* EndearinglyDorky: He's a book currently dressed as a red yukata wearing dragon person who gleefully enters a ball pit.
* PaperMaster: He can manipulate papers by folding them into origami shapes or spreading them out to create razor blades good enough to slice through flesh.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Amelia Hughes]]
An engineer who once ruled the Infinity Train for 30 years, she initially worked alone before being convinced to join forces with Chloe, Atticus and Lexi.
----
* AintTooProudToBeg: [[spoielr:Begs One to let them save Chloe before she kills herself.]]
-->'''Amelia:''' Please, One. Please. ''Let us help her.''
* AngerBornOfWorry: [[spoiler:Her attitude about Chloe trying to kill herself comes off as this, angry that Chloe would do this and worried that this little girl is going to push herself to suicide, knowing what it's like to feel that way.]]
* LateArrivalSpoiler: Not just for ''Infinity Train'', but the fact that she becomes the SixthRanger of the Red Lotus group which didn't happen until the Cyan Desert Car.
* MamaBear: Is ''furious'' upon learning how [[spoiler:One-One manipulated cars to boost Chloe's self-esteem and then making sure she doesn't know that Bede is alive in order for her to properly grow as a character. She would've gone and told Chloe himself had One-One not threaten to kill her (and disabling her barriers)]] And then she's even ''more'' pissed off at how [[spoiler:One manipulated the cars so that Grace and Simon ''specifically'' entered the Jungle Car and met Hazel to see if Grace can learn empathy. One turns this around stating that if it wasn't for Infinigram and her ''seeing'' Hazel online, Amelia wouldn't even care about the girl until way too late.]]
* SecretKeeper: Not by her own choice. [[spoiler:One-One specifically tells her ''not'' to reveal to Chloe that Bede is actually alive to motivate her to become a true hero. She decides to screw it because she doesn't want Chloe to be hurt, only for One-One to intervene until it becomes too much and Chloe is close to suicide.]]
* VSign: Gives a reverse one (think Jaden Yuki) to [[spoiler:One-One before collapsing from the bullets he shot at her.]]

[[folder:One-One]]
The Conductor of the Train.
-----
* AdaptationExpansion: In-universe; this time his videos actually help explain more of the features on the Train -- like the Infinet -- and warnings to ''not'' abuse the denizens.
* AmbiguouslyEvil: [[spoiler: His methods to boost Chloe's confidence includes giving her cars to fight the challenges and have passengers cheer her on...and then break her by not letting her know that Bede survived his suicide attempt. He later admits he had good intentions.]]
* EasilyForgiven: Subverted. [[spoiler: Chloe is not willing to forgive him for the stunts he pulled, stating that he ''will'' have to work extra hard to make it up to her.]]
* GoodIsNotNice: [[spoiler:He may want to help Chloe become a mature person, but making it so that she's in the dark of Bede's survival of his suicide and telling Amelia that he was manipulating things behind the scenes to boost her up and then make her fall so she becomes a "true" hero isn't really a nice thing. As one comment puts it, he's there to help Chloe, not to be ''nice'' to her. In Chapter 6, he ''shoots Amelia'' to prevent her from interfering with Chloe's development. It's later revealed that he wants to prevent a timeline where Chloe became Lady Destiny due to her feelings of inadequacy that led to the massacre of the Apex...''by the rest of the Quarto''.]]
* PoorCommunicationKills: [[spoiler:Him trying to prevent a timeline where Chloe became Lady Destiny by ''not'' revealing to her that Bede for her to grow into a hero. It's because of his actions to avert it that Chloe almost committed suicide until everyone on and off the train convinces her otherwise.]]
* WalkingSpoiler: Stating anything starting with Chapter 4 about his plans for Chloe spoils a ''lot''.
* WhatTheHellHero: [[spoiler:Atticus, Lexi and Amelia chew out on how One-One's plan is ultimately ''breaking'' Chloe and will cause her to kill herself unless they save her. And that in the end he's acting no better than Grace in using people as ''tools'' for their selfish needs.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Josh]]
The current host of the Blue's Clues Car who tasks Bede to go to the Family Circle Car for some answers.
----
* AdaptationalJerkass: He's a sweet and kind person in the show, [[spoiler:not so much in the story given how he coldly points out that Chloe's presence somehow led to ''a bunch of passengers and denizens dying'' and then mocking her with a song that states she's no hero. It's implied that ''something'' is causing him to be this way.]]
* HiddenDepths: Usually he's a goofy lovable {{Manchild}} who plays a puzzle mystery game with his blue puppy, but he seems to be aware of ''something'' up with Mitsuko.
* OutOfCharacterAlert: Steve is surprised to find Josh acting so cold. [[spoiler:When he confronts Josh, the narration implies that he goes from shocked to a TranquilFury about how ''Steve'' was once similar to him, hinting in something is up. It's revealed he's one of Mitsuko's vessels.]]
* RuleOfThree: Asks Bede three questions to see what's really going on with him. Moreover, he's the third host of the Blue's Clues Car.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: He's the one who questions Bede's paradigm and tasks him to go to the Family Circle Car to speak to Mitsuko, setting up Bede's quest.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Steve]]
Josh's cousin, currently in the Detective Agency Car.
----
* BewareTheNiceOnes: [[spoiler:He's a really sweet guy but he confronts Josh about how he told Chloe she wasn't a hero and the obituary before preparing some handcuffs in order to have him dragged back to the Detective Agency Car.]]
* ColorMotif: Green as a reference to his original green striped shirt.
* MythologyGag: In ''Blue's Clues and You!'', it's revealed that he's now a PrivateDetective of the Blue Prints Detective Agency.
* NiceGuy: In heavy contrast to Josh, he greets the Court of Cyclamen in and gives them refreshments.
* PapaWolf: He only knew Chloe for less than one day, [[spoiler: but he is ''not happy'' to learn what Josh told her and pushes him onto the Thinking Chair and prepares to handcuff him.]]
* PrivateDetective: His job.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Joe]]
Steve's younger brother and Josh's other cousin. He works in the Present Store Car.
----
* MotorMouth: Wallflower notes that he likes to ramble a lot.
* MustHaveCaffeine: He likes coffee.
* MythologyGag: Again like Steve above, ''Blue's Clues and You!'' reveals he works in the present store.
* StealthPun: He likes coffee. Another term for coffee is a cup of ''joe''.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Silent Hill Trio]]
Three denizens who reside in the Fog Car (Walter Sullivan, Henry Townsend and Alex Shepherd) who are awaiting Lady Destiny's arrival. Until then, they're willing to help Chloe in her quest to enter the Family Circle Car.
----
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Alex notes that Walter's not his calm and smiling self in regards to learning about Mitsuko. That and he's actually ''eating'' his brownies.
* RealMenHateSugar: Implied; Alex notes that it's serious if Walter is eating one of his brownies.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: They summoned Valtiel to protect Chloe. [[spoiler:Chloe instead asks them to give Valtiel for Bede for protection and Valtiel becomes a scythe to help Bede kill off Mitsuko.]]

[[folder:Midnight Sparkle]]
A copy of the evil form of Twilight, created from dark magic. She serves as the challenge of the Equestria Girls Car.
----
* AdaptationalWimp: She's nowhere near as strong as her canon self.
[[/folder]]

!! Passengers

[[folder:Sunset Shimmer]]
A Passenger from Canterlot High who saves Bede from dying and takes him to the Equestria Girls Car.
----
* CompositeCharacter: This is post-''Equesetria Girls 1'' Sunset with her Daylight Shimmer form from ''Friendship Games''
* LateArrivalSpoiler: Explains the stuff she did in the first ''Equestria Girls'' movie to Bede as stuff she has to atone for.
** Her having Daylight Shimmer comes from ''Friendship Games''.
* MrExposition: Shares half this role with Twilight in explaining their Denizen FantasticCasteSystem theory to Bede.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Boscha Urodela]]
A Passenger from the Boiling Isles.
----
* AdaptationalBadass: ''Boiling Point'' Boscha mostly used fire; this one can use glyphs from ''other'' Coven magic.
* AlternateSelf: To the Boscha from ''Fanfic/InfinityTrainBoilingPoint''
* CurbStompBattle: Gives one to Chloe as no matter what Chloe does, Boscha tears everything she does into pieces. Justified though as Chloe's a normal human while ''she'' is a witch.
* DisappointedInYou: What she felt about Chloe buckling under pressure instead of rising above it, calling her "Weak".
* DoomedByCanon: She's one of Ogami's victims in ''Voyage of Wisteria'', so she's not surviving ''this'' story. [[spoiler:She dies in the chapter after her battle with Chloe.]]
* NotSoDifferentRemark: She tells Chloe that she knows what it's like to feel suicidal and have the world spit on you.
* OhCrap: She has this expression when Chloe threatens to summon a SeaMonster demon, the only time she acts terrified. [[spoiler:Thankfully Chloe was bluffing.]]
* ThirdEye: She's a three-eyed witch [[spoiler:and after Chloe ends the battle, she tosses it to her.]]
* WouldHurtAChild: Is willing to tear down a ten-year-old just to see if she's "strong".
[[/folder]]

!! Other

[[folder:Mitsuko]]
A mysterious figure in the Family Circle Car and Bede's end goal.
----
* AmbiguouslyEvil: Mitsuko is said to be a pronounced figure on the Car, but Sidetable Drawer notes that she's responsible for 54....somethings gone missing and Josh notes that Bede might break the cycle once and for all. [[spoiler: Chapter 6 reveals that she's even ''worse'' than Walter and Henry, which is saying something.]]
* ArcNumber: 54. [[spoiler:She has 53 other bodies of denizens she can possess and her original number was 54.]]
* EvilerThanThou: [[spoiler:Her actions are so disgusting that Walter has nothing nice to say about her, comparing her to Dahlia Gillepsie.]]
* WasOnceAMan: [[spoiler: She was once a passenger who nearly killed herself and eventually split her soul into 53 other bodies because she didn't want the concept of changing herself.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Leon Hyacin]]
The Champion of Galar and Number 1 trainer in the world, older brother of Hop Hyacin.
----
* BewareTheNiceOnes: He's affable and charming but pissing him off is the last thing you want to do.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: Him being InnocentlyInsensitive is what got his little brother on board. Him threatening to humiliate Bede because of Hop being on the Train is what got ''him'' on board.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: As his secretary points out, Bede's words were the breaking but it's ''his'' fault for not being a better over brother and gushing about Ash Ketchum instead of comforting Hop. And then Leon threatening to humiliate Bede is what caused '''Bede''' to enter. Maybe it's best Leon learns to not run his mouth.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Alternate Red Lotus Quarto ('''SPOILERS''')]]
An alternate Red Lotus Quarto from a timeline in which Grace murdered Chloe. Things did not go well for her or the Apex.
----
* FallenHero: ''All of them'' became this: starting with Chloe becoming Lady Destiny and then the other Quarto members killing the Apex in retaliation for how they praised Chloe's death.
* OffscreenMomentOfAwesome: Amelia, Lexi and Atticus stopped ''Destruction'' all by themselves.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: Grace killed Hop to stop the Cage of Flauros and then murdering Lady Destiny in self-defense before the other Quarto members could intervene. It ends with a lot of blood.
* WalkingSpoiler: ''This'' is what One is trying to prevent by forcing Chloe to go through her "hero" journey.
* WouldHurtAChild: AND THEN SOME.
* YouAreTooLate: The other Quarto members arrived just after Grace killed Chloe and they are ''not'' happy about this.
