A covert operations specialist and experienced helicopter pilot since the Vietnam War.

-> For tropes applying to Stryker in the original timeline erased by ''Film/XMenDaysOfFuturePast'', see the Characters/XMenFilmSeriesWeaponXOriginalTimeline page.
----
* AcePilot: During the Vietnam War, he was a helicopter pilot and flew many Black Ops missions into the jungles of North Vietnam. Ten years later, he also escapes Logan's rampage in Alkali Lake Facility by helicopter.
* ButtMonkey: Despite his prominence in the overarching franchise (and his role as TheDragon to Trask), he suffers the most injuries and beatdowns out of anyone in ''Film/XMenDaysOfFuturePast'', including being blasted by Havok in the opening scene, being tasered after Mystique's failed assassination of Trask, and being beaten again when Nixon and his team discover Mystique is in the room with them. It's really no wonder he seems to hate mutants so much later on, when he spends all of his screen time in this one getting his ass beaten by them.
* DiabolusExNihilo: In ''Film/XMenApocalypse'', [[spoiler:his presence literally comes out of nowhere. His part of the film was essentially there to capture the characters and have no bearing on the plot, other than for an excuse for Weapon X's rampage and Logan's escape afterwards.]]
* DirtyCoward: In ''Apocalypse'', when Logan is set free by Jean and starts slaughtering the soldiers at Alkali Lake, Stryker loses his nerve and abandons his team to escape the base.
* DragonAscendant: He was Bolivar Trask's second-in-command in ''Days of Future Past''. As Trask was arrested in that movie, Stryker was still free and became a threat again ten years later in ''Apocalypse''.
* FantasticRacism: Played with, in ''Film/XMenDaysOfFuturePast'', where he doesn't seem to hate mutants as much, or at all for that matter. He even says he doesn't hate them, just that he knows what they can do and that they should be prepared for it, and he expresses surprised amusement at Trask's apparent FantasticRacism.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Gets a neckful of tasers from Magneto, tasers he had just used on Mystique.
* {{Hunk}}: He's quite buff as a young man.
* InTheBlood: His father, as shown in ''Film/XMenFirstClass'', was a high ranking CIA agent and also hated mutants once he saw what they could do.
* InspectorJavert: Oddly enough, Stryker plays this role in ''Film/XMenApocalypse''. [[spoiler:After Apocalypse took control of Charles's mind and ordered him to control the nuclear missile controllers and send the missiles into space, Stryker tracks the signal to the X-Mansion and mistakenly believes that Xavier is actually the one who's behind it. So he leads special forces to raid it and capture some key mutants to interrogate them about Charles's whereabouts.]]
* KarmaHoudini: He escapes Wolverine's rampage in ''Apocalypse''. However a deleted scene shows him being arrested by Moira [=MacTaggert=] over his actions, not least of which being assaulting and abducting a ''federal officer''.
* MajorlyAwesome: In ''Film/XMenDaysOfFuturePast'', he is at the rank of Major.
* PetTheDog: As bad as he is, he does have the capacity to care. In ''Days Of Future Past'', when Trask mentions all the people they lost in the Vietnam War, he looks down in a brief moment of silent grief.
* RankUp: Was a Major in ''Days of Future Past''. In ''Apocalypse'', he has become a Colonel.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Surprisingly presented as one in ''Apocalypse'' compared to his previous depictions in the franchise. He only abducts Raven, Peter, Moira and Hank so that he could question them about a cataclysmic psychic event that seemingly originated from the X-Mansion, and leaves behind the innocent students of the school (unlike his visit in ''Film/X2XMenUnited''). [[spoiler:Then again, he did torture and brainwash Logan into becoming Weapon X in this continuity as well.]]
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Stryker wastes no time getting himself out of Alkali Lake's base [[spoiler:after Wolverine/Weapon X gets loose]].
* ShockAndAwe: Stryker has a knuckleduster equipped with tasers, which he uses on Mystique when she attacks Trask at the Paris Peace Conference.
* VillainExitStageLeft: As Wolverine is let loose on the Alkali Lake facility, Stryker is shown to already be on his way out by helicopter in ''Apocalypse''.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: At the end of ''Days of Future Past'', Mystique is shown impersonating William Stryker, but what she did with the ''real'' Stryker is unclear. As shown in ''Apocalypse'', [[KarmaHoudini he's completely fine, albeit he's still pissed off at Mystique]].
* WouldHitAGirl: He successfully tasered Mystique in ''Film/XMenDaysOfFuturePast'', but he failed to shoot her in Saigon and inside TheWhiteHouse's underground bunker.

-->''"The only thing that never survives this place is a sense of humor."''

A MadScientist performing illegal experiments designed to give normal humans mutant abilities such as SuperStrength, a HealingFactor, and so on.
----
* AdaptationalIntelligence: In the comics he is just a sadistic security chief, here he is also a scientist.
* AdaptationalNationality: He is English instead of American like his comic book counterpart.
* AdaptationalWimp: The Ajax from the comics can wipe the floor with Deadpool in head on confrontation, while the one from the movie is roughly his equal at fighting.
* AdaptationSpeciesChange: In the comic books, Ajax is a cyborg instead of a mutant, and he lacks pain receptors because they were deliberately removed, not because he lost them in the process of becoming a mutant.
* AlliterativeName: His real name, '''Fr'''ancis '''Fr'''eeman.
* AscendedExtra: Ajax never really played a major role outside of Deadpool's origin, here he is the BigBad and Wade's nemesis.
* AtrociousAlias: Of sorts. Ajax was one of ancient Greece's greatest warriors, mostly known for his feats in [[Literature/TheIliad the Trojan War]]... but nowadays it's mostly known as a brand of cleaning products, something Wade will not let him forget (when he's not just calling him Francis).
-->'''Wade:''' He got his name from a dish soap!
* AxCrazy: This guy commits horrifying experiments on people ForTheEvulz. He's a rare example of a ''calm'' AxCrazy, in that while he's extremely violent and sadistic, he tends to remain entirely calm and composed during it.
* BadassBiker: Spends most of the freeway shootout driving a motorcycle.
* BaldOfEvil: Ajax has shaved his head bald.
* BeautyIsBad: He's played by Ed Skrein, looks like he could've stepped off a Paris runway, and is thoroughly loathsome. The credits lampshade it:
-->'''Cartoon!Deadpool:''' He's the hottest!
* BeingTorturedMakesYouEvil: He went through the torture gauntlet as a subject before he became the operator. From what he tells Wade, it's ''likely'' that the process broke him.
* BerserkButton: He doesn't flip out over it like most examples, but his facial expressions and catchphrase makes it clear that he hates being called Francis.
* BigBad: He's the one responsible for Wade Wilson's scarring and insanity, and also wants to hunt Wade down for destroying his facilities and reneging on their deal.
* BlessedWithSuck: Tells Wade that he gained enhanced reflexes from his procedure, but the trade-off was that all of his nerve endings were burnt out, preventing him from feeling pain, or ''anything'' for that matter, including emotion.
* BoomHeadshot: Wade puts a bullet in his head at the end of the film.
* CharacterCatchphrase: "What's my name?"
* CharlesAtlasSuperpower: Despite the fact that his skillset is described as "only" enhanced reflexes and no pain sensors, he is strong enough to NeckLift a man his own size and tough enough to fight through punishment he shouldn't be able to shrug off just because he feels no pain. An explanation for the former might be that his reflex power includes UninhibitedMusclePower as a side effect, but that still doesn't explain his absurd durability.
* ChekhovsGunman: A variant; he also appears in the trailers as the biker who puts a hole in Deadpool's arm.
* CompositeCharacter: Has some things in common with Dr. Killebrew by being the surgeon responsible for Wade's condition.
* DefiantToTheEnd: When he's finally under Deadpool's mercy, [[spoiler:he [[DidYouActuallyBelieve taunts him]] with the fact that his scars are uncurable, despite knowing that the prospect of a cure is the ''only'' reason Deadpool's even considering keeping him alive]].
* DisproportionateRetribution: He leaves Wade in the oxygen deprivation chamber even after Wade has manifested the mutation he was trying to trigger, "Not because I need to. Because I want to." His main motive seems to be annoyance at Wade's constant snark.
* DoNotCallMePaul / EmbarrassingFirstName: Wade learns that the quickest way to get under Ajax's skin is to call him Francis. He spends the entire film trying to get Deadpool to refer to him as Ajax.
* DullSurprise: Purposefully. Ajax is (as he himself tells Wade) emotionally dead inside, so his delivery of practically everything is stuck on DullSurprise.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Ajax walks in Wade's room, tells him he ''could'' speak in [[YouWontFeelAThing euphemisms]] ("This may hurt", "take a deep breath", etc.), but since he's completely insensitive (both [[TheSociopath emotionally]] and [[FeelNoPain physically]]) he doesn't really give a crap, so he just says what he'll actually do: Torture Wade mercilessly until his mutant gene activates. Then he proceeds to do exactly that.
* EvenTheGuysWantHim: PlayedForLaughs in the end credits when Deadpool has a "He's the hottest" thought balloon while his actor's name was shown.
* EvilBrit: He has an English accent, and he's the first example of a British BigBad in the movie series. He's even credited as "British Villain".
* EvilCounterpart: To Deadpool. Both of them have undergone human mutant experiments that have granted amazing abilities, such as healing wounds and not feeling pain. They each go by aliases, with their real names being alliterative. However, while Wade may initially look insane, he's actually a NiceGuy (who just happens to be psychotic); Ajax may look and sound like a sane man, but he's an AxCrazy sociopath with no redeemable qualities.
* EvilHasABadSenseOfHumour: He sometimes tries making jokes at Pool's expense, but they're all unfunny and cruel, particularly because his emotionally stunted delivery ruins the timing.
* EvilIsPetty: He makes a point of being ''especially'' cruel to Wade for no adequate reason other than the fact Pool keeps making jokes ([[BerserkButton and calling him Francis]]). After finding a method of torture that finally triggers Wade's dormant mutant genes, he decides to torture Wade some more, just because he can.
* FaceDeathWithDignity: [[spoiler: Ajax doesn't flinch at the prospect of Deadpool killing him.]]
* FauxAffablyEvil: Ajax can be chatty and snarky from time to time, but it's nothing more than a façade. He can even keep up his act while torturing people.
* FeelNoPain: One of his abilities is feeling absolutely no pain. It serves as a bit of a counter to Pool's powers, which allow him to heal, but he feels every strike, while Ajax doesn't heal (not as much as Wade, at least) but can feel nothing.
* ForTheEvulz: Even after Wade gains his powers, and there is no need to put him back in the asphyxiation device, Ajax puts him back in the machine, driven by a desire to inflict pointless cruelty.
* GeniusBruiser: Ajax is simultaneously a brilliant scientist, the head of the program that develops superheroes and a ruthless fighter who goes toe-to-toe with Deadpool.
* HateSink: The second his true colors are revealed, Francis proves himself to be an incredibly disgusting individual whose sole purpose is to make [[NominalHero Deadpool]] look heroic by comparison. Under the guise of making those that come under his care "superheroes", he subjects them to weeks of torture to awaken their mutant gene before selling them off to the highest bidder, and subjects Wade to horrific, permanent deformity [[EvilIsPetty simply because he finds him annoying]]. As such, [[spoiler: nobody cares when Wade gives him his just desserts by putting a bullet through his skull.]]
* HealingFactor: He laments, after escaping a thorough beating at the hands of Deadpool, that he doesn't have one like him. That said, Ajax's unnatural ability to ignore incapacitating wounds implies he must have some form of healing ability and/or enhanced toughness after all.
* {{Hypocrite}}:
** He subjects Wade to worse torture than necessary simply because he finds his snarky attitude annoying, yet has no problem taunting him at every turn and [[EvilHasABadSenseOfHumor making cruel jokes at his expense]], showing that he can't take what he dishes out.
** [[spoiler: After revealing that Wade's deformity is irreversible, [[DidYouActuallyBelieve he calls Wade "stupid" for honestly believing he could fix him]]. As Wade rightfully points out, however, it's not nearly as stupid as Francis [[StupidEvil admitting he can't do the one thing Wade's keeping him alive for]].]]
* ILied: First as to making Wade a "superhero" and again when he claims that [[spoiler:he can fix his mutated face.]]
* ImplacableMan: Since he feels nothing, it's very hard to put him down.
* InformedAttribute: Strangely, the abilities he shows through the film don't fit easily their official description. Francis claims to have just super reflexes and immunity to pain, which could possibly include UninhibitedMusclePower, but he clearly proves to have also either SuperToughness or a mild HealingFactor (the guy literally ignores wounds that would cripple or kill any man, with or without pain), while in turn his reflexes are hardly extraordinary (he's not much better at hand-to-hand fighting than Wade, whose own reflexes are just those of a well-trained human). Those oddities are never touched upon, not even by Wade, who loves to point signs of lazy writing in his movies and would have had a field day with them.
* IronicName: Mr. Freeman holds many prisoners as lab experiments. After giving them superpowers, he sells them into slavery.
* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: You may think at first that despite taking a bit too much pleasure in administering pain, he's still basically a good person because he's giving the terminally ill a second chance. You would be dead wrong.
* KarmicDeath: [[spoiler:He gets killed by Deadpool, one of many people that he performed torturous experiments on.]]
* KnightOfCerebus: While the film is DenserAndWackier, Ajax is played dangerously straight. Whenever he starts taking direct action things begin to get noticeably darker.
* KnowWhenToFoldEm: When Angel throat lifts Weasel and every man in the BadGuyBar draws their guns, Ajax logically tells her to back down.
* LackOfEmpathy: The procedure that gave him the power of [[FeelNoPain immunity to pain]] and SuperReflexes also left him incapable of feeling empathy for other people.
* LightningBruiser: Has enhanced reflexes which lets him dominate Wade and he's strong enough to easily bend steel rebar. He's also MadeOfIron and can FeelNoPain, so even slowing him down if you do manage to hit him is pretty unlikely.
* LineOfSightName: Ajax comes from the dish cleaner, at least according to Wade.
* MadScientist: He performs illegal experiments on humans to grant them superhuman abilities, ones that don't always work correctly.
* MadeOfIron: His lack of pain receptors allows him to keep fighting much longer than a regular human, even although he still should end up dead way earlier than he does, physically speaking. It takes a lot of beating to get knocked down, although [[spoiler:to kill him a BoomHeadshot is enough.]]
* MajorInjuryUnderreaction: As a result of feeling no pain, he reacts very casually to things like being impaled by a katana. Less explainable by his lack of pain is that he doesn't even show trouble for breathing or moving with the damn thing on him.
* MovieSuperheroesWearBlack: Played with. For most of the film Ajax wears civilian outfits like a lab coat or a black biker outfit, though in the climax he wears a grounded but overall recognizable version of his steel blue comics costume; though instead of cybernetic armor, he's instead donning the more grounded choice of a Kevlar-laden suit.
* NotAfraidToDie: Due to not having much of a capacity for feeling emotions he doesn't appear to be all that worried about the prospect of dying even though he will avoid it if there's a way out. In fact, [[spoiler:when he's at Deadpool's mercy he just mocks him one last time, and when Colossus tries to give a stereotypical [[KirkSummation "Be a Hero"]] speech to convince Deadpool to [[SaveTheVillain spare Ajax]] he seems mildly annoyed by it and fully content that Deadpool is about to kill him anyways.]]
* NotSoAboveItAll: Falls for Wade's "made you look," and took the name Ajax because he was embarrassed by his real name, Francis.
* NotSoStoic: Justified. Getting hit by a cargo container isn't something you don't react to, even if you can't feel it.
* PetTheDog:
** His friendliness towards Angel Dust may be a subversion, as he claims he [[TheSociopath can't feel anything for anyone]], and is only friendly towards her because of her temper and superior strength.
** He lets Wade get away with feebly headbutting Angel Dust, stopping her from retaliating and telling her to shrug it off with what amounted to, "I guess we owed him that much."
* PsychopathicManchild: Somehow, he's even worse than Deadpool in this regard, despite being [[TheStoic much better at hiding it]]. The whole reason he subjected Wade to worse torture than necessary is because he found his snarky attitude annoying and [[DoNotCallMePaul because Wade called him "Francis"]]. Furthermore, the majority of their interactions afterwards involve him taunting Deadpool and trying to get him to say his alias, [[spoiler: a satisfaction Deadpool denies him to the very end.]]
* RequiredSecondaryPowers: Aside from demonstrating abnormal strength and reflexes, he's also much tougher than a normal human, as he takes injuries that would cripple a normal person and is able to fight through them without hindrance (including a stab to the leg that should render him unable to walk and a blade through the shoulder that should have paralyzed that arm).
* {{Sadist}}: He seems less interested in any scientific discoveries that his experiments have brought and more interested in the pain and suffering that they will bring.
* SlaveryIsASpecialKindOfEvil: In addition to wanting revenge for his disfigurement, this is why Deadpool wants to kill him.
* TheSociopath: He observes that he can't feel anything both in the sense of not feeling any pain and in the sense of feeling no emotional response. Deadpool calls him a psychopath, which is something different.
* SoftSpokenSadist: Has a gentle voice to contrast with his role as a slaver and torture technician.
* StraightEdgeEvil: One of the few perks about SenseLossSadness is the ability to stick to salad every single day and exercise without pain. They don't outweigh the downsides, which is what pushes him to be as sadistic as possible ForTheEvulz.
* SuperReflexes: One of the powers he gained while in Weapon X, to the point that he can easily keep up with Wade in a sword fight and even dodge bullets while riding a motorcycle.
* SuperStrength: Low-level. Although he doesn't mention it among the combo of superpowers granted by his mutation, Ajax is clearly much stronger than a regular human, bending a thin iron bar with his bare hands, pulling a casual NeckLift in his first scene, easily throwing Deadpool, or sending Deadpool about a dozen feet with a front kick. It might be explained by UninhibitedMusclePower if it were the only oddity on his skillset.
* SuperToughness: In addition to not feeling pain, Ajax has an incredible tolerance for physical injury. While he lacks Deadpool's accelerated healing, wounds that would disable or even kill a normal human are little more than a papercut. His blood also seems to clot a lot faster than a normal human as he rarely spills more than few drops even when impaled through a limb which would normally exsanguinate a person in seconds. [[spoiler:Only an instant kill shot through the brain seems to stick.]]
* TheStoic: Because he [[TheSociopath can't feel any emotions]].
* StrawNihilist: He doesn't even value his own life, let alone anyone else's.
* StupidEvil: [[spoiler: At the end when he's beaten, Wade demands that he fix his deformities. Ajax just [[KickTheDog laughs and says how stupid Wade is for believing he could really do that.]] Wade replies that [[LampshadeHanging it's not as stupid as admitting he can't do the one thing he's keeping him alive for.]]]]
* TortureTechnician: Oh he's utterly ruthless when it comes to causing pain.
* VillainousFriendship: Ajax seems to be legitimately friendly with Angel Dust and the feeling seems mutual, however see PetTheDog above.
* VillainousValour: He puts up a good fight against Deadpool, and unlike a certain henchman of his, stubbornly refuses to beg Deadpool for Mercy, and refuses it when offered, instead taunting the latter until he kills him.
* WorthyOpponent: Comes to see Deadpool as one when he realizes that the man who's killed almost 50 of his men in the past several weeks is Wade.
-->'''Francis:''' It's funny, I almost miss the fucker. I like a challenge.

Ajax's lab assistant and second in command.
----
* AdaptationalBadass: In the comics, Angel Dust's SuperStrength [[StrongAsTheyNeedToBe varies wildly,]] but typically tops out around [[ComicBook/SpiderMan Spider-Man-level]]. In the film, she is powerful enough to go toe-to-toe with ''Colossus.''
* AdaptationalCurves: Angel Dust is [[http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/marveldatabase/images/7/7b/Angel_Dust_(Earth-616)_from_Morlocks_Vol_1_1.JPG/revision/latest?cb=20130805013835 flat-chested]] and overall rather plain, compared to Gina Carano's [[https://i.imgur.com/shfejsP.jpg proportions]].
* AdaptationalVillainy: In the books Angel Dust, one of the Morlocks, is very much a hero. She's a villain working for the project which creates Deadpool in the film.
* AllThereInTheManual: Her full nickname (Angel Dust) is never stated in the film, as Ajax just calls her "Angel". Her real name (Christine) is also never said.
* AloofDarkHairedGirl: Rarely changes her expression from a scowl.
* AmazonianBeauty: She is very muscular and while Deadpool doesn't find her attractive, during the WardrobeMalfunction, Colossus calls her a "beautiful lady".
* AmbiguouslyGay: Angel Dust seems to recognise Vanessa from a photo which raises questions on how she knows her. People don't normally recognise strangers unless there was at least one memorable experience, so it is possible that she may have been a client of Vanessa at one point. Then there is fact she knows where to find her, which was a strip club.
* CharacterTics: The matchstick in her mouth, as pegged by Deadpool.
* ComicBookMoviesDontUseCodenames: Inverted; the movie only calls her by her codename (Angel Dust, or more specifically, Angel), never by her real name.
* DarkActionGirl: When she throws down, she summarily bashes ''Colossus'' across the room, [[spoiler:and is winning until Negasonic Teenage Warhead steps in]].
* DefeatByModesty: Inverted. Her left breast gets exposed during her fight with Colossus, who is kind enough to pause the battle and let her readjust her top. And then she uses the opportunity to sucker punch him [[GroinAttack right in the bits]].
* TheDragon: Serves as BigBad Ajax's right-hand woman.
* HairTriggerTemper: Though Ajax always holds her back, she's ''very'' easy to provoke.
* IronicName: Despite her first name being "Angel", she is definitely ''not'' one.
* LightningBruiser: She's rather quick when she wants to be and is a skilled martial artist. She also has enough strength to match well against Colossus and tough enough to soak a good number of his attacks.
* OralFixation: Frequently seen with a match in her mouth. [[spoiler:Wade stealing one proves instrumental in his escape.]]
* TheQuietOne: Doesn't speak all that much.
* TheStoic: Rarely emotes in any way.
* SuperStrength: Has the ability to control her adrenaline levels, giving her a resistance to pain and temporary superhuman strength.
* ThreePointLanding: Angel leaps down from her vantage point to join the last fight against the heroes. Deadpool instantly predicts her "superhero landing" before she does it.
* VillainousFriendship: She seems to get along surprisingly well with Ajax.
* WardrobeMalfunction: Her top slides off a bit during her fight with Colossus, who points it out and gives her a moment to readjust. She takes the opportunity to thank him and then punches him in the groin.
* WouldHurtAChild: In a deleted scene, [[spoiler:she pins Teenage Negasonic Warhead to the ground and tries to punch her head in. The latter's counter attack was what totaled the remains of [[WritingAroundTrademarks what is definitely not a helicarrier.]]]]

A mysterious man who recruits Wade Wilson into Ajax's superhuman experimentation program.
----
* AssholeVictim: As the man who manipulated Wade into ruining his own life, when Deadpool finally gets his hands on him, it is immensely satisfying.
* CelebrityResemblance: Apparently for Creator/HugoWeaving.
* ColdBloodedTorture: What Deadpool does to him during his RoaringRampageOfRevenge.
* DealWithTheDevil: Offers to cure Wade of his cancer and make him a superhero in exchange for Wade working for his organization.
* DirtyCoward: ''Immediately'' runs when Deadpool confronts him, and folds like wet paper and (again) also immediately tries to reveal the location of his boss to save his own skin. Wade inflicts some ColdBloodedTorture anyway just because the guy's an asshole.
* FauxAffablyEvil: Speaks politely to Wade while manipulating him into making a decision that will ruin his life, and ignoring the pedophile jokes Wade delivers.
* GoryDiscretionShot: Deadpool turns the camera away from the scene of him being tortured to death, saying that the audience doesn't want to see this. Judging by the reaction of one of the bystanders next to him when Deadpool starts interrogating him, it was for the best.
* InSeriesNickname: Wade refers to him as "[[Franchise/TheMatrix Agent Smith]]", as do the subtitles. He also calls him "Jared", after the former Subway spokesman who was arrested for child pornography.
* KnowWhenToFoldEm: When confronted by an angry Deadpool, the Recruiter is more than willing to spill everything he knows about Francis and the operation. Unfortunately for the Recruiter, Deadpool decides to torture him anyway for the funsies.
* TheMenInBlack: Obviously goes to the same tailor, which causes Deadpool to name him "[[Franchise/TheMatrix Agent Smith]]" for the duration of the movie.
* NoNameGiven: Just one nickname after another.
* ObviouslyEvil: His black suit, creepy grin and vague promises do not inspire trust. Wade begins making quips about him being a sex offender immediately after meeting him.
* PaedoHunt: Wade constantly jokes that his ObviouslyEvil mannerisms make him come across as a pedophile (his behavior being not unlike a CreepyUncle). And none of them bother the Recruiter at all.
* ThisIsGonnaSuck: Quickly realizes that he's screwed when Deadpool reveals his identity to him.
