Then Discord comes back and leaves her powerless to stop him from terrorizing Equestria. Next, Queen Chrysalis successfully infiltrates her niece Cadance's wedding and defeats her in direct combat before having her cocooned to prevent further trouble from her. And after that, she and Luna are both seized by the wild vines growing out of the Everfree Forest and imprisoned until Twilight and company save them. Needless to say, once Chrysalis reveals herself to still be alive, Celestia is [[DeathGlare furious over what the former Queen put her and the others through]], but doesn't get the chance to get some payback as [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere Chrysalis escapes to plan her future revenge]].]]

The whole "Reflections" arc in the comic book was caused by Celestia's acts of youthful impulse finally catching up to her.
