However, the group is seldom taken seriously by the main characters due to Dedede often slacking in his duties, with the rest of the group not much better, even if they are more professional than said President.

It's easy to see why just by looking at them: their president doesn't even try to hide that he's a selfish FatBastard who abuses his privileges often, his two right-hand men are [[SmarmyHost smarmy hosts]] at best, and the only one who even tries to do his job well is Pit, whose NervousWreck personality makes him obnoxious at times. In spite of this, the group has shown that they are capable of governing the world of Brawl, and their initial impressions are not as bad as one would think.
