* At the end features Johnny at Folsom starting off the legendary concert where he not only calls the prisoners his best audience, tips his hat to them, and throws a glass of dirty water down to the ground, but also shouts "This one's for your Warden!" before singing "Cocaine Blues"
* June grows tired of Johnny's constant marriage propositions and flatly states he is only allowed to talk to her on stage. [[Heartwarming/{{Film}} He later interrupts the concert to propose marriage to her in front of a crowd of hundreds.]]
* Johnny's dealer shows up to his new house just after Thanksgiving, and is promptly told to leave. By June's father. At shotgun-point. [[NeverMessWithGranny Look closely and you can see that sweet old Mother Maybelle Carter is also wielding a shotgun.]]
* Can we acknowledge that Joaquin completely improvised ''pulling an entire sink out of a wall?''
* We get a glimpse as to why Sam Phillips became such a legendary record producer in the scene where he shits all over Cash's initial audition offering, stating that it "didn't feel real". He tells Johnny that he only produces "music that sells", lets him know what Cash is spewing wouldn't sell, and tells him why, in vivid detail. This prompts Cash to basically pull a song out of his ass (his band didn't even know he wrote it) that impresses Phillips and compels him to sign the up-and-comer and his band.
--> '''Sam Phillips:''' All right, let's bring it home. If you was hit by a truck and you were lying out in that gutter dying...and you had time to sing one song, huh, one song people would remember before you're dirt, one song that would let God know what you felt about your time here on Earth, one song that would sum you up...you telling me that's the song you'd sing? That same Jimmie Davis tune we hear on the radio all day? About your "peace within" and how it's real and how you're "gonna shout it"? Or would you sing something ''different''? Something real, something you ''felt''? Because I'm telling you right now, ''that's'' the kind of song people want to hear. That's the kind of song that truly saves people. It ain't got nothing to do with believing in God, Mr. Cash...it has to do with believing in '''yourself'''.

* Johnny shoots down all the objections the music producers put forth about him having a live concert at a prison. At the end, he basically tells them "To hell with what you think- I'm doing it anyway!". And he's proven right, as "Live From Folsom Prison" becomes one of the most iconic, influential, best-selling albums of '''ALL TIME'''.
