1	* Homecoming: The very first panels of the comic book are truly amazing. While on a night run in coyote form, Mercy is attacked by a renegade wolf pack. With her car taken out, Mercy had no choice but to stand her ground. Here is Mercy, who is buck naked and armed with a wrench, taking on a pack of five or six werewolves and actually puts up a fight!
2	* Moon Called
3	** The story Mercy tells the reader how a team of lawyers proved a man’s innocence for murder. They baited the prosecuting attorney into asking the accused to hold the murder weapon, a pair of garden shears, in his hand. The accused man tried but his hands would burn upon touching it. The accused was actually a garden sprite who couldn’t touch and hold cold iron without burning his hands. This action not only proved the man’s innocence, but it was also the moment the Gray Lords and therefore the Fae decided to expose themselves to the rest of the world.
4	** Mercy killing a werewolf by tearing out his throat in her coyote form. Granted, she didn’t intend to kill the guy, as she thought he would heal instantly. Still, it was a very brave effort and she did so to save a young boy she barely knew.
5	** Adam fighting off three renegade werewolves who were part of the group that kidnapped his daughter Jesse and actually came close to winning. Adam was already weakened since he was shot with darts that contained a special made drug for werewolves, yet was using nothing but rage to try to save his daughter. By the time Mercy arrives to help, Adam had already killed two of the werewolves and was putting up a fight with the third while drugged, wounded and broken up. He was about to lose to the last wolf however, if Mercy hadn’t killed the said wolf. Still, that fact Adam put up such an effort is amazing. He is worthy of being an Alpha.
6	** Mercy holding off Marsilia with a sheep necklace. It represents the Lamb of God, but they didn't know that when they let her take it into the meeting.
7	** Warren being able to hold off Darryl, Adam’s 2nd of the pack, in a fight.
8	** Ben saving Mercy and Adam in the climax by attacking a renegade wolf and taking a bullet for Adam.
9	* Blood Bound
10	** OffscreenMomentOfAwesome: Warren, still not entirely recovered from being literally beaten to a pulp by a demon-vampire hybrid, wipes the floor with Paul during a challenge fight.
11	** By the end of the book, Mercy had killed two very powerful vampires.
12	* Iron Kissed
13	** Mercy scaring the lawyer her and Kyle hired by shifting to her coyote form in front of her. Ms. Ryan, the lawyer, acted so hard and superior toward Mercy which rubbed Mercy the wrong way a bit. The moment Mercy stripped and shifted, Ms. Ryan’s tough exterior drops. This moment also gives us one of Mercy’s best lines
14	--->"I could smell her fear and it satisfied something deep inside me that had been writhing under her cool, superior expression. I curled my upper lip so she could get a good look at my teeth. I might weigh only thirty or so pounds in my coyote shape, but I was a predator and could have killed a person if I wanted to: I'd killed a werewolf once with nothing but my fangs.”
15	** Mercy being able to calm down a very pissed off Adam, who found out his daughter was beaten up at school. Get this, Adam wanted to hunt down and kill the bullies who attacked his daughter and Mercy just calmly talks him out of it.
16	*** This could also serve as a foreshadowing for Adam. If a few bullies punching Jesse was enough to enrage Adam, imagine what would happen if someone else took it much further. As we see later on.
17	*** Jesse deserves some love here too. While everyone else in the pack, including Darryl and Ben, was cowering in fear at Adam’s rage, Jesse was trying to hold back her laughter. Jesse didn’t see this as a big deal and even claims she knocked one of the bullies on their ass.
18	** Mercy outrunning a monster kelpie named Fideal in her coyote form. Mercy ran several miles from a highway to Adam’s house, using only her knowledge of the land and her coyote speed. By the time she reaches Adam’s house, Mercy’s human legs are like jelly.
19	*** While every other pack member is fighting Fideal in wolf forms, Darryl is just shooting at the monster with a gun.
20	*** And then there’s Peter who charges at the monster with a sword! The sword turned out to be Jesse’s.
21	*** Mercy running up stairs to check on Jesse is also awesome in a way. Mercy is naked, worn out and bleeding with glass in her back; but she uses all of her willpower to make sure Jesse is safe from the monster.
22	** As crazy and tear jerking as the climax is, it had many moments of awesome
23	*** Mercy beating her rapist's skull in with a crowbar with a completely broken arm and sheer willpower. Mercy was able to do this because she was ''whole-heartedly in love with him'' and while he's magically protected from all enemies. The woman has willpower of diamond.
24	*** The villain Tim deserves some credit for being one of the smartest yet vile villains of the series. He managed to hire a mercenary to steal fae magical items for him and he used his items to become more and more powerful. The real bitch is, he managed to do all that while being member of a Fae hate group, the perfect cover for his crime. The fact he also was able to fool everyone into thinking he was some dork is also crazy awesome.
25	*** Adam showing up to the scene in a bizarre yet awesome wolf man form. He was too late to stop Mercy’s rape, but he at least got a chance to tear up Tim’s corpse to nothing but blood and meat.
26	*** Honey gets a moment here too. When Nemane was just going to take back the items Tim stole, Honey was the first to protest and refused to hand the items over as it was the only proof, they had for Mercy’s innocence. We previously thought Honey disliked Mercy earlier, but here she is standing up to a Grey Lord in Mercy’s defense.
27	*** Samuel Cornick's warning to Nemane, the Carrion Crow. Mercy has been poking around in fae business, and she has drawn the wrong sort of attention from their rulers. Samuel, son of the leader of all North American werewolves, declares:
28	--->"My dad raised Mercy in his pack, and he couldn't love her more if she were his own daughter. For Mercy, he would declare open war on the fae, and damned be the consequences."
29	** Ben deserves major love here! He is three or four from the bottom of the pack, but here he is lecturing his Alpha, Adam about Mercy! He was willing to face his Alpha’s wrath and anger just to get Adam to understand that Mercy loves him. Not only that, Mercy always thought Ben was a bitter misogynist and now she is witnessing him stand up for her and exposing some of his own trauma to do it.
30	--->"Do you love her? ... Then put aside your ''goddamned'' self-loathing and look at her."
31	--->"Thank you for sharing your understanding."
32	** Zee warning off Fideal, a monster fae that wanted to eat Mercy. Zee had spent most of the book in jail, so this was a reminder of exactly how awesome he was.
33	* Bone Crossed
34	** The entire fight at Uncle Mike’s bar.
35	*** First you had Adam in wolf form fighting an angry snow elf
36	*** Then you have Mercy shifting in the huge crowd and jumps on the said elf’s shoulder to stop a trap made for Adam.
37	*** Then there is the random fae that a snow elf grabs by the hair. Instead of screaming in pain, the fae was more pissed off and just merely cuts off her hair.
38	* Silver Bourne
39	** Ben saving Mercy’s cat from her burning house. Need we say anymore?
40	** The whole sequence of events after Henry tricks Paul into challenging an injured Adam:
41	** Mary Jo paying Adam back for betraying him by stepping in and using a technicality to force Paul to defeat her so that he would be tired when he came to fight Adam. Say what you want about Mary Jo and her TheScrappy statues, but this is a CMOA for her. Bonus points because she was fighting injured. Adam gets one immediately afterward, upon winning the fight.
42	** Adam fighting and defeating Paul despite not being in great shape himself...and then pointing out that for Adam, the advantage that Mary Jo gave him didn't allow him to win; he'd have done that anyway. It allowed him to take his time winning until he could do it without inflicting lethal damage. Knowing Adam, it's entirely believable.
43	--->"That edge you lost fighting Mary-Jo was what gave me the chance to find a move that would hurt you, instead of kill you. You can thank her later for your life."
44	** Mercy gets one immediately following that, when Henry (who encouraged the challenge to Adam to weaken him) takes a breath to issue his own challenge to the weakened Adam, and Mercy. She shoots Henry in the throat (non-fatally) before he can finish issuing a challenge to an exhausted and injured Adam. She then follows that up by backing up Adam as a compassionate but tough leader
45	** The Faerie Queen puts a mind-control spell on her and casually asks "whom do you serve?" Mercy, who between her natural magic-resistance and the pack bonds is really hard to mind control, responds with "Choose this day whom you will serve, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." (Since Christianity is one of the reasons the Fae are no longer particularly powerful in their native Europe, referencing it around them at all is mildly rude. This goes [[DidYouJustFlipOffCthulhu a little beyond]] that.
46	* River Marked
47	** Mercy [[DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu killing the River Devil]] in the climax! A monster beyond our world and Mercy stopping it is incredible!
48	** Adam saving Mercy from the Otter Kin. As Uncle Mike calls it, suicide by werewolf.
49	* Frost Burned
50	** Mercy and Stefan saving Kyle from the mercenaries that captured most of the pack. Granted, Stefan did most of the work thanks to his vampire skills. But still a great moment.
51	** Adam single handily taking on and killing most of the mercenaries. Adam started off by using stealth kills he learned while he was in the military. Then he finishes them off by turning into a werewolf and just ripping them all to shreds!
