* Listening to Jesu tear into ''Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion'' with all the logical force he can muster is awesome, not to mention just how long it took him to deal with both subject matter and subject presentation.
* His ''Manga/FruitsBasket'' Radio Drama, a project that he's rightfully proud of. His scripts convey the original manga's light and heavy material exceptionally, and the acting is on par with the anime's already well-done dub. The fact that these are all actors that are doing this project ''for free'' is awesome enough.
* His ''Franchise/{{Digimon}}'' retrospective. The entire thing is getting into what so many of us have left to the wayside and analyzing the plot and characters we had loved so we, like him, can see the ''Digimon'' series with a new and more knowledgeable light. Of special note is his ''Anime/DigimonTamers'' retrospective; to put this in perspective, analyzing one Tamer and their Digimon takes up to a ''half-hour'' and it's really worth a listen.
* He starts off his ''Anime/RomeoXJuliet'' review by reciting the summary in a nearly 2-minute sonnet ''written in perfect Shakespearian sonnet form.''
* His explanation as to why he doesn't like ''Manga/NausicaaOfTheValleyOfTheWind''; the story revolves around the title character, and that from a feminist standpoint, portraying a strong female character as [[FlawlessToken basically flawless]] is just as bad as portraying women as [[DamselInDistress defenceless]] or as [[MsFanservice sex objects]].
* His epic verbal smackdown towards ''Anime/MasterOfMartialHearts'' after seeing the out of nowhere and despicable twist.
* Someone in the comments for him and Nash's ''[[Anime/{{Arrietty}} The Secret World of Arrietty]]'' blog decided to attack Nash for being a smoker, and it wasn't worded very kindly[[note]]Nash uses a device called an "electronic cigarette", which works differently from a regular cigarette and questions about it are common enough that it appears in [[http://www.radiodeadair.com/rda_faq.htm his FAQ for Radio Dead Air]][[/note]]. JO's response (in the second page of the comments [[http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/ir/jo/jospecials/34304-the-secret-world-of-arrietty-vlog of the video]]) is nothing short of pure awesomeness.
* His ''Anime/PrincessMononoke'' [[http://blip.tv/jesuotaku/month-of-mayazaki-princess-mononoke-6204171 review]] [[https://twitter.com/neilhimself/status/213910040023793665 getting praise]] from '''Creator/NeilGaiman''', [[https://twitter.com/neilhimself/status/213913522424397825 who thanked him]] for mentioning he wrote the English version, since Miramax took his name off the poster and the DVD packaging.
* In his Anime/PuellaMagiMadokaMagica review, where he called out the mindset that TrueArtIsAngsty and went into a speech about how angsty stories have as many hoops to jump through as lighthearted ones.
* In [[WebVideo/BrowsHeldHigh Oancitizen]]'s ''Film/{{Melancholia}}'' review, he demonstrates SugarWiki/HeReallyCanAct. As the [[HeroicBSOD rapidly despairing]] Kyle outbursts at his, he calmly drops the bubbly attitude to tell him to get a grip. It's too calm for anger, too empathetic for TranquilFury, and yet too stern for pity. Whatever it is, it's certainly authoritative, and one of the most awe-inspiring parts of the video.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2He0zJgNak Coming out as transgender]] was very brave of him.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNcp0jjlKcU Guess who's back!]]
