* Getting an actual real life body armour expert to explain how armour works and have a replica of someone in Halo's Mjolnir to analyze it with the expert really deserves a mention and in the process explaining why Spartans are so susceptible to physical blows.
* Getting [[Creator/{{Nintendo}} Reggie freakin' Fils-Aimé]] on his ''Deadlock'' sub-series to debate the merits of motion controls vs. classic controls. Sure, it's one step short of advertisement for ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaBreathOfTheWild'', but it ''does'' make good and interesting points on both sides. How many high-ups in modern gaming would do something like this?
** And he did it again: Reggie reappears in the next Deadlock video, debating with [=MatPat=] about the merits and disadvantages of Nintendo having its own consoles.
* Despite some of his...[[BrokenBase questionable]] thoughts on parts of ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys'', the creator has consistently and regularly followed his work. And on his last one before the sixth game, said it was "very close". Pretty awesome.
* Getting ''[[Creator/ButchHartman Butch freakin' Hartman]]'' to appear with him and Stephanie during a livestream.
* [=MatPat=] backing out of a Creator/ElectronicArts sponsorship in protest of their {{microtransaction|s}} policies in ''VideoGame/{{Star Wars Battlefront II|2017}}''. He also tells his viewers not to harass [=YouTubers=] who did do EA sponsorships, since many of them were locked into contracts signed before the microtransactions came to light and feel just as taken advantage of by EA as anyone else.
* [=MatPat's=] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCp4VjZLBk0 response]] to [=YouTube=]'s way of handling the Creator/LoganPaul Aoikigahara controversy.[[labelnote:Context]] On New Years Day, 2018, Logan Paul uploaded a video detailing his experience in Aoikigahara, the video in question including the body from a recent suicide, which lead to massive backlash. Not helping is that [=YouTube=] acknowledged that said video violated the terms and conditions but didn't do anything about it until ''after'' the backlash. [[/labelnote]]
* In ''What (Else) We Missed'', [=MatPat=] talks about the novels of ''FNAF'' and blurts out how he hasn't even begun to scratch his theory that Charlie is a robot. When ''The Fourth Closet'' was released, his theory turned out to be correct. And [=MatPat=] figured this out at least one whole novel ahead of time.
* Also a SugarWiki/{{Funny Moment|s}}, [=MatPat=] correctly stating the [[EleventyZillion absurdly huge number of possible match-ups]] in ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosUltimate''.
-->'''[=MatPat=]:''' Oh lord, [[LampshadeHanging what IS this?!]] [[ThisIsGonnaSuck OK, OK...]] (sigh) [[OverlyLongGag One sedecillion, eighty seven quindecillion, twenty nine quattuordecillion, six hundred and twenty one trecillion, eight hundred and sixty seven duodecillion, nine hundred and twenty nine undecillion, five hundred and thirty four decillion, seven hundred and nineteen nonillion, three hundred and fifty six octillion, two hundred and twenty eight septillion, three hundred and sixteen sextillion, six hundred and ninety two quintillion, four hundred and eighty quadrillion possible matches.]]
* The 2019 charity livestream for St. Jude’s managed to raise over $1.33 MILLION dollars. Even removing the $500,000 from Creator/ScottCawthon, they still raised over $800,000.
** They repeated this feat in 2020, and more than doubled it by raising over $3 MILLION for St. Jude’s.
* Whenever [=MatPat=]'s theories predicting a future release actually ends up [[IKnewIt coming true]]. Notable events include:
** [[Creator/LoganPaul Logan Paul's]] boxing match with Floyd Mayweather ending [[Main/ThrowingTheFight (suspiciously)]] in a tie.
** WebVideo/{{Markiplier}} being attracted to big cat ladies.
* Getting Guy Fieri, yes ''the'' Guy Fieri to judge in their final St. Jude Charity Livestream.
* For his final theory, [=MatPat=] left the studio and drove off to meet someone... That someone? '''''Creator/ScottCawthon'''''!
