5* Some of the moves Frank learns as he levels up are pretty awesome, especially as your attack increases to the point where any of these can OneHitKill a zombie. Some of these skills include:
6** The [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Disembowel]], which can kill just about any non-boss enemy, including [[DemonicSpiders the special forces]].
7** The [[SpectacularSpinning Double Lariat]].
8** The [[FoeTossingCharge Football Tackle]].
9** The [[CounterAttack Judo Throw, Power Push, and Kick Back]]. Special mention goes to the Judo Throw, which severs the zombie's arm!
10** The [[FinishingMove Neck Twist and Knee Drop]]. Both of these often result in [[OffWithHisHead decapitation]] or [[YourHeadAsplode head crushing]].
11** The Karate Chop, which acts like an AbsurdlySharpBlade, but in the form of '''Frank's bare hand.'''
12** The [[WrestlerInAllOfUs Suplex]], which can easily kill more than one zombie if they're behind Frank.
13** The Jump Kick, Somersault Kick, Wall Kick, and Roundhouse Kick. The Roundhouse can even be performed right after any of these kicks [[DifficultButAwesome if your timing is good enough.]]
14** The [[GrievousHarmWithABody Lift Up, Hammer Throw, and Giant Swing]].
15* The final boss fight in the game pits photojournalist Frank West against special forces agent Brock Mason on top of a tank surrounded by zombies. The fight begins with Frank running up and punching Brock right in the face and only gets more intense from there.
16** Nearly all the boss fights, since they often pit [[BadassNormal Frank]] against AxCrazy enemies - [[TheDeterminator and Frank always comes out on top!]]

18* The Convicts are ThatOneBoss for a reason - they [[CarFu drive around in a jeep]] [[MoreDakka with a heavy machinegun on the back]], they're on a crucial chokepoint dividing most of the mall, and if by some miracle you kill all of them, [[UnexplainedRecovery they respawn the next day, good as new]]. But in ''Chop Till You Drop'', this is all averted. Granted, the fight is in a PressXToNotDie QuickTimeEvent, but god-DAMN, does it give Frank CutscenePowerToTheMax ([[TakeThatScrappy and for the Convicts, some well-deserved]] CutsceneIncompetence)! [[BigDamnHeroes Grabbing the Survivor they missed on the first pass]], the two of you sprint across the park, and each time the Convicts try and take a swing at you, [[SuperReflexes Frank grabs the Survivor and leaps out of the way in the blink of an eye]], [[CaptainCrash causing the Convicts to plow headfirst into objects and knock themselves out]], allowing you to pick them off one by one: first is [[BadassSpaniard Miguel]], the guy who brained the Survivor's LoveInterest in the cutscene, [[AssholeVictim who gets a well-deserved]] KarmicDeath, [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown by being beaten to death]] [[HoistByHisOwnPetard with his own]] [[BatterUp baseball bat]]. After [[DodgeTheBullet dodging a burst of fire from]] [[ScaryBlackMan Reginald's]] [[MoreDakka machinegun]], [[WrestlerInAllOfUs Frank puts him in a sleeper hold]] before finishing him with a NeckSnap. Finally, [[WhiteGangBangers Sam]], [[DrivesLikeCrazy the driver who has been hounding you and the Survivor through this whole episode]], [[DesperationAttack revs the car up]] [[CarFu to pancake you both against a wall]], [[EpicFail and once again misses]], [[EveryCarIsAPinto blowing the jeep up]] [[ExplosiveStupidity along with himself]]. The QuickTimeEvent might rub some people the wrong way, [[NostalgiaFilter but for those who know]] [[GoddamnedBats how much of a PAIN these pricks were in the original]], it is CatharsisFactor at its finest.
19* Sure, it's a little sad (and a LOT more scary) that [[AndThenJohnWasAZombie Jessie ends up zombified]], but the moment [[DyingMomentOfAwesome she turns]] leads to an unintentional SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome: a [[ArmiesAreEvil Special Forces soldier]] has an assault rifle to her head, [[YouWillBeSpared telling her that she MIGHT stay alive]] [[GovernmentConspiracy if she agrees to be quiet about the outbreak]]. Cutting to just outside the room, we see another Special Forces soldier standing guard -- [[ViolenceDiscretionShot only to hear a fight breaking out]]. As the soldier slowly opens the door, we see zombie Jessie biting into her interrogator's neck, before ripping it out in [[{{Gorn}} a shower of blood]]. This would be just plain horrifying in any other circumstances, but considering the [[AssholeVictim soldier]] was forcing Jessie to make a SadisticChoice between her life and her integrity, her "response" in undeath has got to be a pretty awesome way to TakeAThirdOption.
20* In infinite mode, [[TakeThatScrappy you get to ''kill'' Otis as soon as you start]]. And you get items for it, too!
21* Any time you manage to beat Carlito is pretty cool for both sides. Frank and Brad keep outgunning the mastermind behind the zombie outbreak, but Carlito keeps taking bullets like a champ, over the course of the 72 hours. The most notable moment is Brad managing to get the upper hand on Carlito after 7-2. Granted, Carlito follows up by shoving Brad into a zombie room, but Brad certainly didn't give Carlito an easy win. Brad even manages to hold onto his humanity long enough to give parting words to Frank, should the player know to look for him.
22* Given how most of the survivors spend a lot of time being TheLoad, moments where they are competent stand out, even if many of those moments aren't repeated.
23** Wayne is a fast runner, a good shot, and usually quick to follow Frank's orders.
24** Kindell, Jonathan, Alyssa (who referenced previously fighting her way to the security room on her own, only to find the door welded shut), and Brett are all armed with firearms and already shooting zombies that approach them when they meet Frank (although all of them can shoot ''at'' Frank by mistake before realizing he's human) and then use their weapons to provide covering fire while being escorted back to the security room. Jonathan gets extra credit for trying to get between his TriggerHappy companions and Frank when Brett and Alyssa won't stop shooting at Frank and then convincing them to leave with Frank if he can prove his reliability by bringing a picture of a safe route.
25** If Frank carries an injured Ross back to the security room and gives Ross's girlfriend Tonya a melee weapon in that scene, then Tonya will be a ViolentlyProtectiveGirlfriend and do a lot to clear the way of zombies.
26** Pamela is introduced while being {{Zerg Rush}}ed by about two dozen zombies, but is fighting them off ''with her bare hands'' and continues to punch several of them until Frank has killed all but her last few attackers. Regrettably, she immediately takes several levels of {{Chickification}} and has several HystericalWoman moments while Frank is escorting her back to the security room, but few if any characters can match what she does before her shell-shock kicks in. Even more impressively, she's one of the youngest characters in the game.
27** Greg actually helps Frank make it back to the security room faster due to knowing a shortcut.
28** If Frank gives the Japanese tourists weapons, then they will fight and kill zombies all the way back to the security room, albeit often [[FearlessFool without displaying adequate amounts of self-preservation.]]
